Siamo state benissimo presso questo Riad, tutto molto curato e pulitissimo!

We booked our stay last minute and with the help of Mohammed, who was really nice and professional, it was easy to check in and to find a parking. Thank you Mohammed for your lovely attitude. You made it easy for us ! Regarding the Riad, we loved it. We got two rooms and one of those was the suite and it was very beautiful and authentic. the rooftop terrasse is so cozy and cute. I will definitely go back to this Riad

Quiet and peaceful Riad, lovely roof terraces. We stayed in a suit on the top floor, the room is nicely decorated with a good layout and enough space for two. There is daily cleaning, 24 hour staff, and the staff are all very friendly. We liked the location as it was away from the chaos and noise of some parts of the city, but still a walkable distance to everything. You have to walk a bit to take a taxi or bus, which we didn’t mind.
Cons: Would be nice to have some additional amenities in the room/Riad, such as a mini fridge, coffee/tea making. Breakfast was served well every morning, we would have liked a bit more variety such as some eggs, olives or vegetables as we typically don’t eat sweet breakfasts. But overall still ok.

The location and the road itself was so beautiful! The staff were incredible lovely and helpful, our taxi driver couldn’t quite find the road so he offered to call the staff there and they arranged for them to come and meet us so she could show us the way. The road was incredibly peaceful and so beautiful, with an amazing view from the roof that had beds and tables etc. Genuinely couldn’t be happier with the stay! Would come back over and over again.

Riad Dar Nael is an oasis of peace in the middle of the bustling Medina. The place has been decorated with an amazing sense of style and great attention to details. The Riad has been peaceful and quiet and offers many corners to sit, enjoy, and relax, including a lovely rooftop.

Riad is beautiful and very green! Loved the birds singing at all hours. Not too far about a 20/25 min walk from the main square. 10 min walk from Madrasa and Secret garden. In a lovely residential area. We were given some mint tea and Marzipan on arrival and stuff were very helpful. Terence was fantastic.
Cons: Property is in need of updating. Plaster is crumbling on walls and windowsills. Wires were coming out of the plug sockets and There was a large clump of blonde hair in the shower and the swimming pool had so much chlorine when the children tried to swing it stung their eyes, They were ill for 2 days as a result. Property is more a hostel. Value for money was ok, but we stayed at much better Riads for the same price. Breakfast was not great no variety, just tea, milk and some pastries.

Everything was awesome! I’d love to highlight a few things: the welcoming Moroccan tea was great, and they sent an employee to pick us up from Bab Elkhames. They were attentive and sent us messages to coordinate. We walked a little to get there, but it was a good experience to explore the narrow streets of Marrakech. The breakfast was delicious, especially the Harcha bread. The staff was very friendly, and I loved it. It was also inexpensive for the quality they provided.
Cons: Nothing for me ;)

Cooperative staff. Nice cultural decorations. Great rooftop for relaxing and chitchatting. Breakfast was also a plus point. We were quite satisfied.
Cons: Bedsheets could have been cleaner. There was a mirror on the top of our bed in the room. Other people can see inside the room from outside through this mirror. But we covered it with a cloth. I seriously suggest this mirror to be removed.

Really cozy and beautiful environment. The interior of the riad was wonderful and every detail was carefully thought out. The breakfast was tasty and the mint tea was really good. The staff was always helpful and we got tips from them. A truly wonderful and unique experience. Thank you:)
Cons: The cleanliness of the rooms could be invested even more. In addition there could be even more signs outside so that people can definitely find their way there. We stayed opposite the breakfast room, so the sounds could clearly be heard in our room compared to the rooms on the upper floors. It's always a shame that other travelers don't necessarily think about their volume at 6-7 in the morning... Which is of course not the host's fault, but be prepared for it.

The look of the Riad inside was great - BUT WE COULD NOT STAY HERE DUE TO OUR OWN SAFETY. The Owner was quite understanding of this too.
Cons: The safety elements of the location of the Riad. Walking too the Riad after the taxi pick up from the airport created anxiety as it was a ten minute walk... fine for the day but the evenings could be a issue particularly the walking through the little alleys with little/no street lights. The pick up location for taxi again far to walk too.

The lighting was great in the Riad. The breakfast is amazing which makes up for the negatives in the Riad

The gentleman working during the nightshift has been very kind to us and the lady responsible for the breakfast service seemingly did her best to get in touch with the property manager, but without any success.
Cons: Out of 5 nights we had initially booked, we spent only one night at this property (actually just a few hours!). We arrived late at night and upon our arrival had bitterly discovered that the property did non AT ALL correspond to what we had seen on the pictures! The facilities were old, the spaces were poorly lit, there was a terrible smell in the room coming from the toilet, the showers were old and dirty, the blankets were shabby and smelly and the bedsheets had holes!!! We literally could not even sleep at that place. In the morning we urgently asked to talk to the property manager, but we had been referred first that he was busy at another Riad, then that he was sleeping, and after all that he did not want to meet us! We texted the property manager via booking.com messaging service, but he never replied to us. We literally never saw this person: he did not check us in, he did not provide us any information about the place, he never replied to our messages and never even tried to meet our concerns. To anyone looking at the bright and lovely pictures of this place I strongly recommend to think twice before booking it, since in reality it presents itself in a completely different way!

Ossama greeted me with an amazing welcome. he didnt know i was coming because i was a very last-minute booking and it was after midnight, i booked the room as I was walking through the square and arrived within minutes! I asked him to bring coffee to my room at 9am, not really expecting it to happen - it did! Thanks Ossama. All the members of staff were friendly and helpful. The riad is very pretty
Cons: The bed was as hard as rock, the pillows were flimsy and the stench from the drains was disgusting. The room had lovely big windows but the curtains did not block the light! I hardly slept! Somebody needs the bring u-bends to Morocco!

We enjoyed our stay in this riad a lot. Their Moroccan hospitality is incredible. Very nice and welcoming hosts. Very nice, bright but authentic interior and a rooftop with an astonishing view over the roofs of the Medina especially in the evening. Also very affordable. Really nice stay and very nice staff. The Riad is beautiful and I felt really safe and good at the place. it's easy to connect with people there. The room was beautiful and bed was comfy. It's very quiet there, which is a great contrast with the busy Marrakech
Cons: Despite what's stated on booking, I couldn't pay with card in the property. It took me a long time to get cash and the cash was expensive to get from the ATM. So that was a bit of a bummer.

Located in the Medina within a walking distance from the Jemaa el-Fna main square. Behni, who runs it, came and collected us from where our taxi driver dropped us (1-2mins walking distance) as it’s not approachable by vehicle and the Medina is like a maze. We arrived late at night (22.30) and although we hadn’t made a reservation, after requesting food upon arrival, we were served the most delicious chicken and olives Tagine (picture) and chicken pastilla. Very clean and tidy and the staff friendly and helpful.

Location was good. Staff every nice and helpful.
Cons: Very ordinary room. The staff who checked us in on the first evening was well spoken but a bit oversmart and had no knowledge of what was available at the property in terms of blankets, heating, etc. so we had to sleep in a freezing cold bed and room without heating for the first night. We came the know the room A/C had a heating function only next day when new staff arrived. Not as displayed in the pictures. Freezing cold despite the A/C having a heating function which was not effective at all. Breakfast was very ordinary with bread, bread and more bread, all served in a freezing cold dining room where there was one movable heater but with the door open all the time it had no effect and if there were multiple guests only one table could use the heating. The Bathroom wall shared with the room had open spaces so anyone using the bathroom had no sound proofing whatsoever. The door locks were rickety and difficult to use and the bathroom door had no lock or bolt. We couldn't wait to get out of the room and the property. Don't think we will ever go back to that same place. Contacting Booking.com was no help at all as they raised their hands and said sort it out with the property staff. Beats me how this property got such a high rating, perhaps all the others stayed in the summer time.

Dris was an awesome host and very welcoming. Extremely good value for 3 of us sharing a room. Air conditioned room, good food, close to everything you’d want to see/do & quiet. Cons: Air conditioning right above my bed which made it tricky to sleep as too hot without it.

The staff were extremely friendly and went out of there way to help us organise taxis and even made us an incredible dinner one night of our stay. The room was large and very clean. Great location, about a 10 minute walk into the Medina which means it’s very peaceful and away from the crowds. Would definitely stay here again.
Cons: They were doing construction work on the property when we were staying which meant we weren’t really able to use the terrace. Beds could be a little more comfortable.

- Very nice and helpful staffs, you can communicate with them through Google translate if needed as some of them don’t speak English. - The room looks exactly like the photos with traditional design and decorations. - The water in the first night when we were the only guest was warm and had good pressure. —> You can consider booking this place preferably not in travelling season. - Breakfast was nice with different traditional cakes/bread, jam, butter and some kind of syrup; orange juice and coffee. - Mornings were peaceful with birds singing and trees everywhere in the beautiful common space.
Cons: - The water in the next night when there were more guests was cold, making it hard to take a shower after a long day in the middle of May when it’s still a bit cold at night. - It’s located deep in the complicated Old town so if you arrive late on the first day, some local people could try to lead you to your stay and ask for money which is not worth your wallet and your mental health like us two girls. —> You can try to arrive in daytime which can avoid some incidents and you can have a better feel of the area, then it doesn’t feel that bad. —> Taxi cannot go too deep into the Old town so as soon as your taxi drop you off, just follow Google Maps and don’t let any local “help” you. If you have a local sim, put it in your phone and contact the staff (they use WhatsApp as well) so they can guide you to the place.

The staff was incredibly helpful, kind and always at our service. Salim (the night keeper of the Riad) even went beyond his professional duties when helping us and made us feel like we were his dear friends. The breakfast was lovely and the inner garden of the Riad would even bring chirping little friends (birds). Overall the Riad's common rooms were excellent. The Riad was located centrallycentrally which was convenient for saving time.
Cons: As far as commodities go, the room had two cracks in the paint and the sounproofing of the restroom didn't leave much to the imagination (generally a problem in Morocco). As far as location is concerned, even though central, it was in a location that felt rather unsafe during the night, especially after the doors in Medina closed. We advise any visitors not to arrive in the middle of the night as we did, as it could end up costing them dearly.

The staff arranged a much earlier breakfast for me because I was fasting. The showers were hot.
Cons: The internet was terrible in my room. Bad smell from the toilet. The worst thing was the location. It's a 20 minute walk to the Jemma El fna square, which isn't too bad, but to get there you have to go through many small streets, it's like going through a maze. It's not easy to find the riad at night. GPS doesn't really help as most small streets are closed at night. There are a lot of dodgy scammers in the area. My advice would be not to engage with anyone, not even to ask for directions. People will hassle you for money, and many people offer to help you for free and then try to get money out of you. Don't let anyone help you, and don't talk to anyone. Just politely ignore them and keep on walking. Best not to stay in this area altogether. My advice would be to stay in Gueliz if you don't like to be constantly hassled. As I was handing the keys to one of the staff to check out, she asked if I had already paid for my stay. Of course I had, I was checking out two days later.

Good size room, cosy, very hot shower , great roof top terrace, very friendly staff. The location is quite good..15 min walk to Jamaa el Fna square, good wifi signal We spent 3 nights there and it was a daily cleaning service and towels changing
Cons: The breakfast is ..a joke (totally insufficient)..we spent 2 weeks in Maroco in 8 different accommodations, we had an idea what it was supposed to be...

Before booking anything in Marrakech, consider how well do you get oriented and how afraid you could feel going through the souks in the evening or at night. The closer to the Jemma El Fna place, the better. That's it. The Riad staff is helpful and their rooms are great, however, I found it hard to get there and while walking around young people gave me wrong directions for money, up to the point I didn't know who to trust.
Cons: Not finding many street names through the zouks and the young people who were giving wrong directions and trying to trick me.

The staff were all so kind and always there to help. The atmosphere was also really peaceful. The views of the atlas in the backdrop from the terrace felt lile an oasis of calm in the frantic city. The location was perfect and walking distance from all places.
Cons: Nothing

The riad is inside the medina, but in a quiet quarter. Only a 5 min walk away from the beautiful medersa Ben Youssef, the museum of photography and the souks. To the Jemaa-el Fna Square it's about 15 min. With some sense of orientation and the little map which the owners give you, it's not so difficult to find your way back to the riad. We travelled with our two children and had the rooms in the upper floor, next to the terrasse. We liked the decoration, the beds are good, shower is hot. Stretching out on the big sofas on the terrace after a long day in Marrakesh is divine. You have views over the rooftops that reach the high Atlas mountains. Contact with the riad crew is fluid and warm hearted, very nice people. Breakfast is good, somewhat basic but tasty.
Cons: The dark alley that leads to the riad can be a little bit spooky when you're travelling alone. But it seems a quiet and safe place after some days of Marrakech experience.

I liked the lovely terrace, and art decor. The room was spacious and the breakfast was good. Magda was very helpful with imformation about the bus to the airport and the cook accomodated us for an early brealfast.
Cons: There room for improvement in the bathroom. There was some leakage and bath needed updating.

Clean and tidy rooms, quiet and calm place not far from some museums and Jemaa el Fna square. Not all the staff speaking English but they are very helpful. Perfect place to feel unique Moroccan lifestyle

Pretty decent location away from the hustle and bustle, but close enough to walk to the main points of the interest. Staff were nice. Room was quirky. Place hqd6a nice rooftop terrace and nice decor inside.
Cons: The shower was the worst thing about this place, it had such a low amount of water and left us feeling frustrated as we wanted to shower, but at the same time we didn't, because it was more like a trickle and was not enjoyable in the slightest.

The riad is absolutely gorgeous. It is a traditional building with a a small dipping pool and a terrace full of plants. Together with the air conditioned room it is a great value for money and all that you would expect from a riad.
Cons: The location is in a small side street outside the main centre of the Medina, which can be scary for some people, especially women travelling alone or with other female travellers. Also, we asked a couple time whether they could accomodate vegan breakfast and while they reassured us they could, in the end there was some confusion and we weren't entirely convinced the breakfast was actually vegan. Overall, it seems that the riad is focused on squeezing additional money out of the guests. 1 euro for water considering there is no access to drinking water otherwise, 1 euro for printing one page - not massive sums so they won't be profiting much, it just makes you feel less welcome as a visitor.
