We had the most incredible stay at this beautiful riad in Marrakech. From the moment we arrived, the team made us feel genuinely welcome and completely at home. The atmosphere is calm, elegant and authentically Moroccan with a slight Spanish vibe with white painted walls and chic decor ā the perfect retreat from the energy of the medina. Our room was stunning: immaculate, stylishly decorated and full of character. Every detail felt thoughtful, from the comfortable bed to the little touches that made the space feel special. The riad itself is breathtaking, especially the courtyard and rooftop terrace, which offered peaceful spots to relax with a mint tea after exploring the city. Breakfast was a real highlight each morning ā fresh, delicious and beautifully presented. The staff consistently went above and beyond, giving great local recommendations, helping us with taxis, and ensuring everything was smooth and enjoyable throughout our stay. The location was ideal too: close enough to walk to the main sights, yet tucked away just enough to feel quiet and serene. We genuinely couldnāt have asked for a better experience. If youāre visiting Marrakech and want authentic charm, outstanding service and a truly memorable stay, this riad is absolutely perfect. We will definitely be returning!

Een geweldige Riad! Het was voor ons de eerste keer in Marrakesh. Wij kwamen āās avonds aan in het donker. De Riad ligt aan het einde van wat smalle straatjes met veel Riadās. Voelde even spannend in het donker maar mensen op straat hielpen ons uiterst vriendelijk met de weg. Uiterst vriendelijke en behulpzame nachtwaker, zette verse muntthee en stelde ons op ons gemak. De kamers, Riad, dakterras zijn prachtig, goed onderhouden en brandschoon. Iedere dag schone handdoeken en de bedden prachtig opgemaakt. De eerste avond gegeten in het Riad, de tahines waren heerlijk! Veel tips gekregen van de nachtwaker om te gaan zien en doen. De eigenaresse is uiterst vriendelijk en behulpzaam. We hadden een issue met medicatie en ze heeft ons geweldig geholpen door de apotheek te bellen voor ons. Ontbijt is uitgebreid en iedere dag anders. Heerlijk, alles vers gemaakt. De dame in de keuken en jongen in de bediening zijn ook zo aardig en behulpzaam, niets is ze teveel. Het is geen goedkope Riad maar het is de prijs meer dan waard!
Cons: Het enige wat ik zou kunnen noemen is dat de bordjes aan de muren buiten van dit Riad klein en donker zijn waardoor het ās avonds heel lastig te lezen is, zeker als je laat aankomt en de weg niet weet kun je het moeilijk vinden. Daarnaast zijn de matrassen vrij hard. Mijn man had er geen last van maar voor mij sliep het wat minder fijn. Misschien is dit gebruikelijk in Marokko?

kortom alles. Het werkvolk was heel vriendelijk, de locatie was dichtbij alles, de kamer dagelijks proper gemaakt, de riad was vanbinnen enorm mooi, de gelegenheid is er om te lunchen en voor te avondeten waarbij je ook zelf wel inbrengt hebt op de gerechten.
Cons: De spa was relatief duur voor in marokko te zijn en in de omgeving zijn heel veel straatkatten wat voor een dieren liefhebber wel jammer is dat voor hen niets voorzien is.

The most beautiful Riad, the most wonderful staff, the most delicious food. I can't thank you enough for taking such good care of us. Unfortunately, myself and my daughter and I took sick, but the staff helped with the pharmacy, medication, and plenty of fresh food to help with our recovery. We felt safe, looked after, and i wouldn't hesitate to return. Thank you again for everything you did.

We were traveling as a family with our son and booked 2 rooms which were both very tastefully decorated. Staff is super friendly and helpful. We booked restaurants on their recommendation and also a privat trip to the Atlas Mountains was organized by the team. Breakfast was delicious with a variety of different breads and pastries, yoghurt and fruit and fresh orange juice. We would definitely stay again in this wonderful Riad. Thank you š

A special mention for the staff. They were unfailingly attentive and helpful. Friendly and polite. Obviously well trained, and well chosen! Good breakfast, albeit different. No cereals... but didn't miss them. The room overlooked the inner courtyard, which was pleasant enough; but no outlook to the other side as it is a semi-detached property. Good size room. Lashings of hot water at all times. Tea and coffee-making facilities in the room - but no English Breakfast (or similar) black tea bags . Altogether a very acceptable experience.
Cons: Minor grumbles (above) aside, the location was a little worrying - at first. Access to the Riad is down very narrow winding lanes. Cant be reached by taxis, so we had to drag our luggage, for about 1000m. We feared we had chosen wrong. Should really have expected this in the old part of Marrakech. We did want a truly Moroccan experience - as opposed to staying on the usual Marriots / Hiltons etc. The Riad itself was gorgeous! And despite the narrow lanes, quite respectable. The area is mix of residential plus several Riads. We had a peep at one or two and they all looked of reasonable standard.

The Riad is really beautiful. Everything is made with attention to every detail. The roof is really nice with the heated swimming pool. The staff is very kind and ready to satisfy any question. The distance to get to Jema el fna is about 15 minutes by walk. The rooms are very cleaned and so beautiful! We did the hammam in the Riad: it was appreciable and the staff really kind. A specially thanks to Ashim!
Cons: The first evening we had dinner at riad . It was very good but the price is high compared to standard prices in marrakech. One small bottle of water costs more than the same bottle on the plane. And the transfer costs 35 euro instead of 12ā¬ payed for a taxi. So be careful!

The room has a nice look with a clean color Pallet. The Shower was very big and kept a steady steam of hot water. The spa and the Hamam was really good, and relaxing to go to. Itās take a bit to warm up, but still very fun to go to.
Cons: There was a pool with warm water but no towels for the pool. The room had a central heating but did not work and staff said we need to wait but there was no warm air at all and the room had no extra blanket. No cooking staff available and we paid 300 Euro. Donāt go to this place, it is too expensive for the service we got.

Lovely property, quiet, peaceful and lovely staff. The beef tagine was amazing that they prepared for us on our arrival. Very close to the main square. The coffee bar on the way to the main road serves amazing coffee.
Cons: Pool on rooftop was advertised as heated but wasnāt warm when there so we couldnāt really use it. Thatās really disappointed my daughter. Approach is a little way off the main road but was totally safe and added to its character.

The Riad is well designed and as striking as many in that it is a haven of peace from the madness of Marrakesh!
Cons: A number of light switches did not work in our room. There were obviously wiring problems too as some switches operated a different part of the suite! Most disappointing was the lack of cleaning of the roof top pool. We booked this riad because it advertised its large pool which is very unusual in Marrakesh. However, it was so dirty that we had to ask for it to be cleaned and all they did was fish some of the larger pieces of debris floating at one end! The young manager always had excuses for mistakes that were made (even with invoicing challenges) that were quite frustrating.

Overall this riad was awesome- we got out of the taxi which could only take us to within a 5 minute walk as we needed to walk through some smaller alley ways. We were warmly welcomed at the door, given some biscuits and mint tea, and taken through the checkin process. They very kindly upgraded our room free of charge and we sometimes came home to little sweet treats that were left by the cleaning staff. They cleaned our room every day, changed our sheets and towels, and breakfast was included. There was a bit of variety in the types of breads offered each morning- we did not realise that we could ask for omelettes as well with breakfast until our last morning there. In terms of location, it is a little further out of the medina which was perfect for us. If you're looking for somewhere quiet, comfortable with only a few rooms (ie not too busy in common spaces) then we highly recommend staying here.
Cons: It was very hot in Marrakesh and our poor little aircon couldn't keep up with the heat- the room was often very hot in the afternoon and it struggled to cool our room down in the evening.

Beautiful little riad with only 6 rooms. Immaculately clean and super comfortable. The staff are lovely, very friendly and attentive. The property is located down an alley just behind the royal palace. The medina and a host of attractions and restaurants are all within an easy walk, and there are plenty of taxis if you prefer. Despite being very centrally located, the moment you pass through the door of the riad, you are in a little oasis of calm. The decor and the furnishings add to the overall boutique feel. The roof terrace was a real plus. The riad backs on to the formal gardens of a 5 star hotel and is full of palms, olive trees, and birdsong. The pool is small (and warm), but it's only meant for a quick dip. The breakfast and lounging area is more than adequate for the small number of guests. This was one of the most relaxing breaks we've ever had. We're definitely going to come back later this year!
Cons: The property is located down a cul de sac alley. It looks daunting at first, but that's old Marrakech for you. Despite the initial impression, it is very safe. There's quite a bit of construction going on in the area, so it might be a little dusty and untidy, but don't let it bother you. You won't notice it at all when you're inside. It didn't detract for our stay in the slightest. Think of it as the character of the place!

Jamila was awesome in coordinating our visit with setting up a driver and having lunch prepared for us when we arrived. The rooms were good size and amenities were all you could ask for to get a family of four comfortable! With being so close to the Medina Jamila lined us out with a map and directions on how to walk over and explore on our own, which was fun! Very safe area and we felt comfortable in all of our comings & goings. There is a walk between a car drop off and the Riad but was easily navigated and Jamila will have a valet shuttle all of your luggage easily enough.

It was beautiful, the staff were all amazing - the most welcoming and attentive people. We felt comfortable the whole time, they would bring us bottles of water round the pool, looked after us so well! The location was perfect, situated just outside the souks but within the medina I believe. Walking distance to literally everywhere! The rooms were modern, authentic, pretty and had everything you would need. The roof terrace and rooftop pool was so relaxing. I would recommend this riad to absolutely anyone!

Cons: Maybe that the shower didnāt drain quite fast enough. But thatās me looking for things to not like. The place really is excellent.

What a hidden gem this hotel is! After walking a few minutes down a small alley you enter a door and you find yourself in an oasis of calm and beauty. The manager met us at the door and was very welcoming and gave us ideas on what to see and how to get there. Upon arrival, our hostess offered to make us a lunch that was quickly prepared and exactly what we wanted. The same attention and service was forthcoming for our dinner that was prepared specifically for us as we were alone in the hotel. The manager also made arrangements for us to have a hammam and massage that was also excellent. The staff were very friendly and helpful and professional. I would return here with no hesitation.
Cons: A small space to work on a computer in the room would have been nice

We liked absolutely everything! Absolutely stunning Riad and amazing staff! The room was beautiful, bed super comfortable, cleaning ladies kept it impeccable, Camila was very helpful planning our visit in Marrakech, Elias and Youssef took care we have everything we need. Highly recommended.

Excellent location, the hotel is close to Jemaa el-fna. Rooms are well decorated, very clean and comfortable. Terrace is amazing, unlike most of the riad terraces in Medina area you see trees not the roofs of the other buildings. It feels like a garden with a nice small pool. Breakfast is very good. Staff are very polite and helpful. Thanks for everything. Special thanks to Jamela and Ilias for their hospitality and assistance during our visit. I will never forget the surprise birthday cake they served for my husband.
Cons: The hotel is at the end of a narrow road (dead end) it's impossible to access by car, you need to walk for 2-3 minutes to Sidi Mimoun gate to take a taxi. You might struggle the first day but then get used to it.

Riad LAZ Mimoun is quite a little one with 6 rooms only, beautifully decorated, in a good location and excellent stuff - Ilyas and Youssef took really good care of us. Peace and quite and excellent breakfast. I strongly recommend this Riad for your stay in Marrakech

We (Gjemile, Lena and I) would like to thank the staff of Riad Laz Mimoun very much. It was a wonderful holiday and we enjoyed our stay in the beautiful riad very much. The staff are very attentive and always try to fulfil the wishes and needs of the customers. We send our love and would choose the same riad if we were to come to Marrakech again.

everything was charming, the Riad is almost new and fancy. Staff extremely friendly and helpful, so strongly recommend!
Cons: the location is good, close to main things to visit, the only thing - a car can not reach to the door of the Riad, have to walk like 3 min.

it was immaculate and most efficiently run. The staff couldnāt be friendlier or more hard working. Jamila the General Manager running the property was exceptional. Nothing was too much trouble for Jamila and we felt very much at home right through.

Cons: Totally Over priced Dirty and cold pool which we couldnāt use Need to organize pick up luggages and had to pay extra each time. I would be happy if it was included and organized by hotel. They complained that because of our children other customer left. We felt really sad to hear that on the last day of Marrakech.

Cons: You canāt reach by taxi when you have a lot of Luggages it will be complicated. Location is different than it shows from Google maps. And far from Main Street bit scare to walk in the night. Same part of The building is still under construction, pool was too dirty to swim.

Literally everything about this property was superb. The smell, the beauty, the hospitality, the warmth, the food, the ambiance and the location to name a few. Everything. I was pleasantly surprised when I entered the Riad. My whole experience was exceptional. Every member of staff went above and beyond and their service was from the heart. A huge thank you to Jamila, Yousif, Elias, Halima and Hanan, who were absolutely fabulous and made my stay a memorable one. I will be back.

Everything was great about this new, stylish and bright riad . staring from mysterious and quiet streets of Medina you are finding an oasis in the Marrakesh. this riad is one of a kind, combing incredible design, clean rooms with original designs(we changed rooms to experience beauty of different design), and the worm and friendly personnel. Yusuf -very helpful and open minded, Jamila -great attention and smile.. feels like at home. couldnāt be better for us on our first trip to amazing Marrakesh.. hammam is well worth visiting at the riad. very authentic and done to perfection.
