I stayed here for two whole weeks from April 1-14. This is such an amazing, authentic riad, with a beautiful courtyard with tile fountain, trees, and beautiful Moroccan lamps. It’s excellent in terms of affordability, location, and hospitality. Also, it’s 15 minutes to the main square and 5 minutes to famous high-end restaurants like the Les Jardin du Lotus. The free breakfast was good with yogurt, orange juice, pastries, toast, cheese, etc… The room was cozy, with authentic Moroccan wooden furniture and the bathroom was clean. My host, Mr. Abdel was so friendly and hospitable. Upon arrival, he welcomed me with fresh Moroccan tea, gave tips on how to navigate around Marrakech, and was extremely kind in every way. He even woke up early morning to prepare breakfast for me (at around 6am) as I had to go on a couple of excursions. THIS IS THE BEST RIAD! You feel like you’re in riad with the most authentic interior design and hospitality. Thank you Mr. Abdel. I even drew a sketch of this place while I was here, because I loved it so much.

Cons: Nothing to complain

Ideal location to springboard off on your excursions. Plenty of restaurants within short walking distance and of course the famous market. You are more or less left to your own devices. The host was very good. Although my stay included breakfast set between 8am to 11am, he still cooked a 7am breakfast before my 7:30am excursion. The WiFi was good enough too.

Cons: There wasn't that much not to like. A Riad is like a bed and breakfast or a guest house. It has its quirks, it may be very minimalistic, but in a way it adds character. No TV, but I didn't miss it. You may have to ask about changing sheets and towels, though.

When I first arrived at the property, I felt a little nervous, but that quickly faded. The hosts were true gentlemen with warm, welcoming, and respectful gestures which immediately gave me a sense of security. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful, with the Danish pastry being a standout treat. One of the highlights of our stay was the complimentary laundry service provided by the staff,an incredibly helpful gesture that made a big difference. The location is excellent: shops and restaurants are within easy walking distance, and there's a less touristy market just a few minutes away, offering a great glimpse into local life. The bathroom was clean and comfortable, with both hot and cold water readily available. The room itself was quiet, cozy, and perfect for a restful stay.AC was chilled.

Cons: My room was on the second floor, and after a long, tiring day, climbing the stairs felt a bit exhausting.

The place is in a nice location close to the gate routiere but also close enough to explore the medina. The lady who welcomed us and prepared breakfast was super nice and helpful. The room was a bit cold as in every riad but good blankets were provided.

We were happy with our stay in the riad. It was exactly as it was advertised and met our expectations. It has a nice little rooftop terrace to enjoy the view and the sun. The gentleman running the place is the most attentive, kind and caring person. He even got up and prepared us a little packed breakfast to go for our very early departure at 6:20 am.

Cons: We stayed in January, so when the weather was not that warm. The bathroom window did not close, so that added to the cold air coming to the room. It would be better if it is fixed and can be closed. There was an electric heater in the room, which was good, but we didn't think it would be safe to keep it on during the night.

I absolutely recommend this Riad. As soon as you enter there is a delicious scent of orange blossoms. The kindness and helpfulness of the owner of the Riad are incredible. The rooms are spartan but have a private bathroom. They are clean and with soap and a hairdryer in the room and with air conditioning. Super abundant breakfast with fresh bread, eggs, butter, jam and cheese, combined with a sweet and juice. Tea or coffee. If you want you can have dinner for 10 euros. It is in the heart of the medina but 3 meters from a street where taxis can pass. 15 minutes from Jemaa El Fnaa square passing through the characteristic streets of the Medina. Highly recommended!

The Riad is quite simple in decoration and furniture, but has it all! A central court where to have breakfast, table and a chair outside your room to relax on your floor and a lovely rooftop to enjoy the breeze of the day. It's located in a side street, so it's very quiet and in the morning you can hear only the sound of the birds chirping. But it's a few minutes walk from the closest souk, nearby there is a lovely area with some restaurants and Jama El Fnal is less than a twenty minutes walk away. I have to say, the area where the riad is located is much prettier and less run down than the one closer to the main square. Rooms are a bit dark as the sunlight in the riad come from the top whereas the room's windows only face inside the courtyard but it's ok. Just switch the lights on. Abder is a great host! In the morning he prepares you the breakfast from 8 am. One day I had to leave earlier for an excursion, nevertheless he came to make me a lighter version of the breakfast. He also printed me the boarding pass for the airport. Highly recommended, especially for the convenient price.

The hospitality offered from the man who runs the place was excellent. Offered to make us early breakfasts wheb we left for tours. The breakfasts were complete (pastry, eggs, bread, jam, butter, tea/coffee, orange juice and yogurt). The rooms felt very homely and the general vibe is very relaxed and peaceful. The Riad is located very close to the Medina without being in the chaos of it.

Cons: Nothing. All good. Perhaps the air conditioning may be a little bit too weak for the middle of summer.

This is a very small riad tucked away down a quiet cul de sac which meant that it was very quiet, The room was pretty basic as we expected for the price but it was very clean and fresh smelling and certainly adequate for a night's stay. Good wifi connection and the souk was only a couple of minutes walk away The owner was really friendly and helpful - he arranged an early breakfast for us when we were leaving early for an excursion.

Cons: No signage on the outside of the building - it is just a numbered door

Staff were very accommodating and kept our bags after check out until our flight time . Super delicious breakfast and a terrace overlooking old city . Rooms have air conditioning which is useful in Marrakech for the heat Note that as everywhere else, check in here is at 12 or 2pm , not at 9am as what booking says ( we arrived 10 am and staff were very accommodating, sat us in a cozy cool room and brought tea and checked us in once a room was empty and cleaned around 11) just to be aware Otherwise would highly recommend it

Cons: One thing to note - the maze like souq road that takes you from the old madina (location of the hostel) to the central square ( masjids Al fanaa courtyard/ Saha) with all the bazzars,,,,this road closes at nigh around 11am, with wooden doors etc. if you get lost in there it'll be difficult to come out on your own especially that Google maps won't help in these super narrow streets , and when it's at night it's super creepy Just avoid that road after 11pm 😂

Cons: To whom it may concern, Even though we paid for this accommodation, we didn't stay at this facility, because of terrible hygiene, general mess, and quite a bad location. We found new accommodation on the spot. I tried to contact Booking customer service on the spot, and several times during my stay in Morocco. However, your app doesn't provide an option to contact with your customer service and to give feedback/complaint, while the problem is happening, as well as after the fact. Because of all of the above, I want a refund, as we did not use this accommodation (this is the only way you provide for contact between customers and your service). We paid 64,8 eur for this accommodation. Booking as a platform, should never allow such facilities to provide accommodation on your website, given that the extremely terrible conditions of the accommodation are not suitable for animals, let alone humans. I am expecting your response. Marija

Overall it was great value for money and the location made it easy to get in and out to the medina while being in a fairly quiet location.

It was a bit small as expected but for that price it was understandable. Also, the room has free wifi, air conditioning, and a private bathroom, which is perfect. In addition the location is just outstanding and the room service was also great. I could do nothing but recommend it 👌

Amazing hospitality from our host Abdar. Everything is simple but comfortable. Very good price-quality relationship. The owner is a very trustworthy person who does his best to make sure you have everything you need. You can book from him tours as well. The breakfast includes bread, croissant or pastries, orange juice, yoghurt, omelette. He makes you a very nice mint tea. A very kind person who reflects the kindness of Moroccon people. Location wise is also good. Be kind and you will receive kindness in return.

We had a fantastic time staying at this Riad. The owner is so friendly and went above and beyond for our comfort. The rooftop is beautiful and quiet. The room is simple but has everything one might need. The breakfast is delicious and huge Couldn't imagine a better host and place to stay ❤️

Cozy place with generous and kind owner, who gave us some tips how to survive in this crazy city:) Riad located near the souk and close to the bus station, with many small shops and lots of motorbikes, donkeys and footwalkers around. Feelings about our stay? Let's see: we were welcomed by very nice guy who gave us a true berber tea and showed our room. Lockable doors what gives you 100% privacy in the room, hot water in the shower, clean bedding, free towels and comfortable bed was all we needed for one night stay. The room wasn't big but it contained 2 beds, 2 chairs, table and a wardrobe and we didn't trip over while going to the bathroom :) Moreover, the riad was simply beautiful and well-kept and it offers great view from the terrace with nice silence although it's located in a noisy center. Tasty breakfast with omellete, croissants, fresh bread, fruit jam, yoghurt, coffee and again true berber tea <3 What more could we expect?

Cons: Nothing to complain :)

Our host was very friendly and helpful. He prepered breakfast for us, despite the fact we had to left very early at the morning :) Apartament was big, clean and had good facilities (comfortable bed, air condition, heating). Localisation is really good.

We stayed here for a couple of nights. The rooms are simple but the location is perfect. It is close to everything that you'll need and less than a ten minute walk to the Medina. The best part of this riad by far is the host, Abde. He is a very kind soul that will go out of his way to help you and make your stay as enjoyable as possible. He is very welcoming and provides excellent service to his guests. He also offers different excursions for you to do. The riad also provides a nice breakfast which includes an omelette, bread, croissants, jam, juice, and coffee/tea. I would recommend staying here.

The room was warm and quiet (room on the rooftop, February 2023). There was stable water pressure and temperature in the shower. The owners were very polite and helpful, they would make you a tea or coffee anytime for free! Breakfast was oversatisfying!

Cons: It is not luxurious but it's very good value for money.

Very good breakfast and nice comfortable room, compared to the other accomodation also nice bathroom. Great that we got a heating in February, which was quite usefull! :)) Just note that the riad is not at the place shown in the maps.me or other apps, it is closer to the center at the end of the next small street.

Cons: Just the pieces of dust under the bed, otherwise everything ok.

Right outside the medina, great location for good money. The owner was super nice and made breakfast earlier twice for us. They have also allowed us to check in early

Cons: Is not clear how to come to the riad with google maps. You should look at the street names instead

The riad was in a center location, so close to everything. The room was clean and really nice, comfy. The owner was so kind and speak English well, so the communication went smoothly. He was nice to wake up earlier than supposed to be to make the breakfast for us. He was really lovely. Also parking is just a bit further on the Rue Gza, it's not free, but just a couple of euros. It was a really great stay, thank you!

Cons: We lived a HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE with my mom in this Riad. Ramadan who is the tours person was harassing us, flirting and even one night at 2 am, he was trying to get into our room. My mom and I were very scared and we had to go to another Riad in the next day. I DON'T RECOMMEND IT, DON'T STAY IN THIS RIAD!!!. There is no respect for women!!!! I have traveled to many countries and have never experienced anything like this! In addition, my mother told Ramadan on several times that she was uncomfortable and we did not want to talk to him anymore, but he kept insisting, he was very disrespectful even he offered camels to my mom for me, so we left as soon as we could to our room. It was very very awkward, unfortunately it was too late to look for another hotel so we stayed there, worst idea since he knocked our door and tried to get in at 2 am, we didn't open the door, he even waited outside for long time so we couldn't sleep that night, It was all a horrible nightmare, we even feared for our lives, we didn't know what that man could have been capable of. Unfortunately, the owner of this Riad is Abder who is really kind, he does his job very well but Ramadan manages all digital services and tours, so now Booking is on my case. I wrote this long review because I don't want this to happen to other female travelers, this behavior is unacceptable!!! Look for another Riad! Women be really careful in this country don't talk to men, it's not safe! Thanks for reading till the end! Safe travels!

everything! very well located , in a very quiet place, close to the places I wanted to visit . Abdel was impeccable, it was a reservation last minute but he was ready to receive me . My room had everything I could ask for and it was cleaned . The riad is very quiet . Also want to mention that they start breakfast before 9 which I appreciate a lot and it was delicious . so definitely I recommend this place and pretend to be here next time I return to Marrakech

Cons: honestly there is nothing bad I can say about this place

We really liked the Riad! We wish we would have had more time because the room was really clean and big, the view was nice and especially the host was so kind and welcoming. He told us a lot about Marrakech and brought us fresh mint tea :) The next time we come to Marrakech we are definitely going to stay in this Riad again !

Cons: nothing it was really nice 👍

Breakfast was nice (coffee, tea, bread, jam, butter, orange juice, omelette). Owner is very friendly and helpful. Rooms are basic, nothing too much in there. Very good value for money!

Cons: Location is a bit wrong on the map, but it is just next street and easy to find as street name and house number are exact.

Very good value for the money in a central location. Bed is comfortable, air conditioning works, breakfast is included, and overall a very hassle free stay. Owner works with a tour company and offers a very good price for a tour package to the Merzouga desert.
