We chose this riad because of access by taxi in Medina. The riad was very comfy and beautiful. The stairs were wider, the room was very nice with spacious closet and comfy bed, also good lighting. The stuff was great and breakfast very good. Thank you for your care, Riad Matins.
Cons: The noise of the cars was a bit audible in the room because of the road. But if you spend more time outside, it’s nothing.

Clean, comfortable and in a great location in the north of the Medina right next to Limoni restaurant. Beds and pillow very comfortable. Felt at home and the owner and staff were all lovely. I stayed here for 3 nights and everything was exceptional. The room was very cozy, comfortable, and equipped with AC, which made the stay even better. The staff were absolutely amazing, they were super sweet, friendly, and always ready to help with anything we needed. On two mornings we had to leave very early, and they kindly prepared breakfast bags for us, which was such a thoughtful touch and really delicious. The room was cleaned everyday and the towels were changed everyday as well. The location is perfect! We were able to walk easily to all the main attractions as well to restaurants. Overall, a wonderful stay and I would definitely recommend it.

Bardzo ładny riad, bardzo gustownie urządzony z dbałością o wszystkie szczegóły, bardzo czysto, codzienne sprzątanie, ładny taras, cicho, 15 minut do głównego placu, łatwo trafić, jednocześnie jeśli ktoś ma wynajęty samochód, to zaraz obok hotelu są dwa parkingi, my płaciliśmy 7 euro za dobę, Na uwagę zasługują też wyjątkowe śniadania, najlepsze jakie jedliśmy w Maroko, codziennie coś innego, wszystko świeże, bardzo miła i uprzejma obsługa, dostaliśmy nawet pyszne śniadanie na lotnisko o 2.30 w nocy i pracownik recepcji wstał aby nas pożegnać, dziękujemy bardzo.

The Riad is beautiful with a picturesque courtyard. The rooftop breakfast and lounging area with pool were lovely. Our room was very Moroccan with mosaic tiles in the bathroom, intricate carvings and colourful soft furnishings. On the day we arrived we had prebooked a meal as we arrived quite late. This was amazing with far too much food, and without doubt this was the best meal we had during our stay in Marrakech. The hosts were really helpful booking our online tickets for us when the site wouldn't let us do it, recommending restaurants and taking us to a local Hammam where they helped us pay and work out what to do. Breakfast every morning was a feast. We were never hungry at lunch time, an afternoon cake kept us going until our evening meal.

Location in old town /medina but with full road access meaning taxi/car drop off right at doorstep and easy to flag a taxi if wanting to go outside. That is rare to find if choosing to stay in the medina. Beautiful old Riad (traditional Moroccan house) beautifully restored/redesigned. Immaculately clean rooms and spacious enough when compared to European /UK B&Bs. Quiet inside the thick walls of the house away from the chaos outside on the streets. Elaborate lavish breakfast with menu changing everyday and very delicious. 24hr in-house staff who are extremely hospitable and very polite and thoughtful. Taxi drop offs to airport /station arranged by hotel at a reasonable price meaning no stress of haggling. Rooms cleaned everyday which in Europe is now hard to come by unless requested.

Het verblijf in deze prachtige riad was fantastisch. Vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. De riad ligt heel centraal in de Medina en is goed bereikbaar met de auto. Met alles werd meegedacht. Voelbaar is dat het met hart en ziel gerund wordt. Het ontbijt is overweldigend, lekker en elke dag met andere Marokkaanse lekkernijen. Bedankt voor de fijne tijd!

Le petit déjeuner est le meilleur que nous ayons eu de notre séjour de 15 jours au Maroc. Il change chaque jour et permet de goûter les spécialités locales avec du Amlou ! La terrasse avec la piscine est un vrai plus car contrairement aux autres riads on l'utilise tout en restant au soleil. L'emplacement est super à 3 min des souks. Le personnel est adorable, mention spéciale pour les gâteaux de Latifah ! Ils organisent des activités également à des prix honnêtes contrairement à ce que vous pourrez trouver dans les agences locales dans les rues.

I love the peace and quietness of the place. It is beautifully decorated and well looked after. The staff were very kind and helpful. They made us a wonderful breakfast to take with us at 7 am! when we were going to one tour. And made us tea and juice while we waited our pick up. Also they kept our luggage until our return before departure.

The riad was beautiful and it was a great location a little out of the centre of the medina, so it felt very calm and peaceful whilst still only being 5-10 minutes walk away from the souks etc. The taxi from the airport, which we organised through the riad, was able to park right outside - another plus given our late flight in! The staff were very welcoming and attentive, the breakfasts were very generous and delicious , and the rooms are shared spaces like the pool were great. We would definitely stay here again!

The room was very comfortable with modern very quiet air conditioning, breakfast was lovely served on the roof terrace ,with different local items every day and always included eggs/omelette/scrambled etc... we pre ordered dinner at the Riad on our day of arrival as we had a long day travelling , the three course meal of local dishes was great. There are some very nice restaurants within a 5 minute walk away. They also organised a 4 hour guided private walking tour of Marrakech which was amazing & informative, our guide was the best. The Riad is within 20-30 minute walk of just about everything that is worth seeing in Marrakech ,and if you get tired then a cheap taxi back is the answer.

The riad is beautifully decorated with colorful mosaics, lush green plants, and a lovely rooftop terrace that’s perfect for relaxing. Breakfast was absolutely exceptional – with homemade food and different every day, served on the rooftop. The staff were incredibly friendly, especially the woman how made breakfast I believe she is the owner, welcoming, and always ready to help with a smile.

We had a really wonderful stay here. Hassan and Shihab were wonderful hosts and really made us feel at home here. They were very knowledgeable on the city and provided us with a city map, explained where the main sites were and also good restaurants to eat at. The breakfast was served in the beautiful courtyard each morning and the food was amazing, it was so filling and we liked that some items changed each day. I'm also vegetarian and they were able and happy to prepare breakfast to accommodate my needs. The room itself was very clean and spacious and we slept very well each night. The room was also cleaned every day. The riad is very beautiful and we spent a few afternoons relaxing on the rooftop in the sun. There's also a very cute friendly cat that lives at the riad. It's located in a nice area of the City, only a short walk from the Medina and there's lots of restaurants nearby. We found it very easy to walk everywhere from the riad and we explored all the sites on foot each day. We got a taxi from the airport and they were able to drop us directly outside the front door of the riad. On the morning we checked out, Hassan prepared us a light breakfast as we had to leave a bit earlier before the normal breakfast time. He was very accommodating and also arranged for a taxi to take us back to the airport in time. I would highly recommend staying here to other travellers, its such a lovely place and you will feel very welcome here. Shoukran Hassan and Shihab 😊

It was really expensive for the room we got. They advertise a fancy pool when it's the size of a jacuzzi in a corner on the roof top. The room and bed were too small for two people. The room was quite dark. The hairdryer was old snd didn't even work. We tried to cancel but the owner refused. To be fair, our booking was nonrefundable but the room wasn't worth even half the rate we paid. Hasan was helpful and professional.

This riad is ideal for a trip to Marrakech! The location is perfect, on the outskirts of the medina so not noisy and accessible by car which is great for taxis. Close enough to the New town and a 15 mins walk to main attractions like the square. We felt very safe walking both during the day and at night. The staff are lovely, so welcoming and on hand to give you any information you may need. Breakfast was superb - delicious and so much of it! The room was comfortable and of decent size, beautiful riad and decor! The pool and loungers on the roof are perfect when the sun it out! Overall I would definitely recommend this riad and would visit again!

A warm welcome from the manager/ owner Shihab who also gave us lots of great info on the sights and tips for the ways of getting the best out of our visit. Keys provided for room and outer doors made for easy access. Clean towels daily, clean room and nice linen on a comfortable bed. Good breakfast every day. Pleasant sun loungers and majlis on the roof terrace.

Beautiful traditional Riad in the northern part of the Medina. Excellent 'Free' breakfast each morning, which varies each day. Shame there was only a 1.5-hour time frame to enjoy the offer. Hassan, who attended to every need, was so attentive and caring and went the extra mile to ensure any queries or requests were met. The outside 'pool' was infact a corner of space, which was not enough to swim in and freezing cold! It's more of a dip in hotter climates. Felt misleading from the photos on the Booking.com website. We felt it was an overpriced Riad for the facilities. However, it was a pleasant experience overall. Would I recommend Yes if for a much cheaper price and if you prefer to be out of the chaos of the Medina.

We have had an exceptionally amazing stay at Riad Matins de Marrakech! We were received by the team with a warm welcome and were attended with so much grace, more than we are used to when travelling. The room was very neatly maintained a felt like a royal suite inside a paradise. The breakfast was incredibly tasty, to say the least. The experience has been marvellous, thanks to the Matins de Marrakech team, with a special shoutout to Shihab, Latifah and Hassan for making this an unforgettable memory for us!

Shihab, Fafa and Latifa welcomed us on the arrival day with kindness. Shihab took some time to explain the city highlights and features, and provide recommendations. Fafa is the lovely Riad’s resident cat that poses for us and may be given some pets. Latifa gave us mint tea and Moroccan cookies. After that, Shihab and the team were always available to help us when needed (e.g., take-away breakfast, more recommendations, dinner at short notice because we were sleep deprived on the first day). Also to mention Hassan who serves breakfast and dinner, books taxis, sees videos of our cats and is always willing to help even if we want to buy olives at the last minute! This small Riad (6 bedrooms) is well decorated and the facilites are great and as advertised. The shower is hot and with good pressure. The bed was heaven. We didn’t hear noise from the other guests or from the street (we were on the ground floor in the back). The location is great and within walking distance of the main attractions. The road is accessible by car which is convenient for any pick up/drop off. There is also a car park and good restaurants nearby. The legendary breakfast is very good and more like a brunch. Some items change every day. Latifa and Radissa are so good at feeding us that we finished breakfast at 9:30am everyday and were only hungry at 3pm. We tried our best to finish all the breakfast items! It is also great that breakfast includes traditional Moroccan items (e.g., sausage, pancakes, cookies, mint tea) and are homemade (e.g., yogurt, cookies). We also had the opportunity to dine at the Riad. We booked the day before and chose from the available list. All were delicious and the portions were big. I recommend this Riad to anyone heading to Marrakech and, if i ever return, I will definitely stay there again. Choukran for your hospitality.
Cons: Nothing really. My only recommendation would be to inform guests what are the breakfast items every day and ask if we want all or only some of them. Only saying this because one of the days we saw someone eating almost nothing.

We had such a great stay here. I can't praise this place highly enough. The owner and staff are super friendly and will make you feel at home right away. The room and facilities were excellent. Their rooftop area was a great place to relax after a busy day in the Medina. The breakfast provided is first class. Different every day, and everything was delicious. Set you up proper for the day. The location is also spot on. Right at the top of the Medina, everything is within walking distance. Can't wait to go back.

This was my second time staying at the Riad. The location, facilities and staff are great. The taxi can drop you off right at the front door, which makes it convenient, yet it’s just a few minute walk to the center of the Medina and all the shops and restaurants. There are some street food stalls nearby too, which are delicious and a great experience while hanging out with the locals (good value at $2 to $3 a plate). The Riad is on a quiet section of a side street, so it’s not noisy at night. The beds and pillows are comfortable, the shower is hot, and the room is cleaned daily. Breakfast is on the terrace on the roof, and is delicious. They change it up a bit each day too. You will feel like being at home here.

This small and beautifully decorated Riad is located right next to the Marrakech Medina. The owner Shihab was extremely welcoming and hospitable. He suggested many wonderful places and restaurants to visit for which we were very grateful. The staff was super attentive and the breakfast was the best we had on our 12 day trip in Morocco. Highly recommend this place!
Cons: The budget(economy) room is a little on a small side( still beautiful)so if you like space, reserve another room😀

Excellent location and superb breakfast, all of the staff were wonderfully helpful. The Riad is right in the Medina, a short walk from the Souks as well as lots of sights. Also really easy to get taxis. They organised airport transfers for us as well. Breakfast was served on the roof terrace, really varied each day and very generous, we didn't manage to finish it! Our room was comfortable with good air con. Thank you 😊

The location was great. Just on the edge of the Medina, but a short walk to get to the main square. You can get dropped off right in front of the Riad, which is nice if you are arriving late. The place is very nice, the staff is wonderful, the breakfast is excellent, the beds are comfortable, the pillows are just right, the shower hot with great water pressure, the location is off the main street and is very quiet. I don’t think I could have chosen a better place. On top of everything else, the staff goes above and beyond to make sure you are happy and comfortable.

The Riad is very close to the center and the Host and all the other people welcomes us on a really friendly way. He gave us Lots of good Information about the City. He had always a smile on his Face. The atmosphere on the rooftop was very relaxing with the beautiful Pool. The breakfast was awesome. Everyday we got something different. Typical food from marocco. Also as a vegetarian we did not have any problems :) all in all it was a really beautiful stay.

Room was compact but was very nice and had everything you needed. Even special touches of the Riad name embroidered on the sheets. Very clean and working bathroom. Riad manager Shihab was very helpful and welcoming. Sent a lot of good food and attraction recommendations. Even found us a place to buy real Saffron from! Provided varied traditional Moroccan breakfasts everyday Pool on the top floor Cute resident lazy cat :)

We had a fabulous stay, from the welcome by Latifa with fresh mint tea and pastries to the helpful map and tips from Shihab. The breakfasts were served upstairs on the rooftop either in the sunshine or out, whichever you prefer, and were to die for. Always a savoury hot dish, usually featuring eggs, fresh bread and honey, jam, almond paste and olives, followed by pastries, cakes, pancakes, fresh fruit, yoghurt and, of course, juice, mint tea and coffee. Hassan’s service, manner and friendliness were second to none and nothing was too much trouble. We felt very safe at the Riad and, as it was on a small road, the taxi from the airport could take us door to door which was a bonus. Although in the Medina and only a 15 minute walk into the epicentre, the riad was super quiet and peaceful and the sun terrace and little pool were perfect to return to late afternoon to have a cool off and a bit of peace before changing and going out for dinner in the chaos and bustle that is Marrakech! The bedroom was lovely, the bed and pillows incredibly comfortable and always lots of hot water in the super shower with fresh towels every day. All in all, a great place to stay which we would thoroughly recommend.

Everything in the riad was a feast for the eyes - beautiful tiles, traditional rugs. Breakfasts on the rooftop terrace were fantastic and we tried something different every time. Also whenever the room was cleaned we found it so perfectly tidy as if someone had cast a magic spell on it. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming and a special mention goes to Fafa the cat! Sad to be leaving and hope to return some day!

Owner was really helpful when we needed to organise pick up for our desert trip too. Bonus that it is accessible by car as I had a big suitcase and a bad back! Highly recommend and would definitely return.

The Riad has a great position, inside the Medina but it was possible arrive there easily with a taxi which is fantastic as we didn’t need to walk feeling lost in the tiny streets and avoiding to be scammed. lt's a small Riad but well maintained. The team is kind and friendly! The owner was always available for any query and he also sent us a list of restaurants, spa and attractions of Marrakech. The room was done everyday and everything was tidy and clean. Amazing also the breakfast that was always different one day to the other and it counted sweet and savoury options. Last but not least, as we are cats lovers, they adopted a lovely cat that stays in the Riad.
Cons: Unfortunately, during our visit, Marrakech had hot water issues, but it didn't compromise our experience too much.

What an excellent authentic stay. The raid is based around the traditional design, enter through the small doorway and leave all the noise and chaos behind. Beautiful quiet courtyard with fountain and six bedrooms arranged on two floors. Ours was a smaller but perfect en suite bedroom and the bonus of a roof terrace was amazing, sitting I the sunshine in Mid March was good for the soul. Breakfasts were freshly cooked each morning and very tasty with a good variety of sweet and savoury. But the best thing was the staff. Everyone from ringing the doorbell on arrival on our first day to helping with luggage to the taxi as we left made us feel so welcome and valued. A real credit…thank you all so much.

Shihab proved to be an excellent host during our trip. He provided us with a detailed description of the city and recommended some unexpected spots to visit. He was also able to book a traditional hammam for us upon request. To top it off, he prepared a delicious egg and lactose-free birthday cake for my friend which was a pleasant surprise. The riad is conveniently located, and the breakfast served was delicious and diverse. Additionally, the room was clean and comfortable. Overall, our experience was fantastic thanks to Shihab's hospitality and attention to detail.

The breakfast was delicious and plentiful and we also enjoyed a dinner in the riad on our last night...excellent food! The riad is a lovely, peaceful place to come back to after a day in the souks or an excursion away. The resident cat is entertaining and well looked after, something we really appreciated seeing, having two cats at home ourselves. We would absolutely recommend a stay here...great location and incredible service from the lovely staff. The place is impeccably maintained and you are made to feel welcome the moment you come through the door.

Terrace was a brilliant place to relax. There is also a pool. Riad is really close to the main attractions. The whole team were really accommodating and helpful. The rooms were cleaned and left spotless daily. All amenities you would expect in a hotel all available. There's also a very friendly kittykat that lives in the Riad. She just keeps to herself, but loves pets! But something to bear in mind if you have allergies! If you are thinking of booking, do it!

The Riad is well located, about a 15 minute walk from the main square which is mostly through the souks. The staff are very friendly and helpful - we were greeted with tea on arrival and given a lowdown on the area. Breakfast was excellent, lots of food and different throughout our stay. The rooftop is very nice to sit out in when sunny

The location is great, close to everything and the stuff is wonderful. They help you out and make you feel at home. On an other note, I forgot my very dear gold necklace at the Riad and Shihab, the Riad’s owner, looked for it and tried a lot to send it to me in my next destination and even dropped it to a friend in Marrakesh at the end. Very helpful and honest!

The neighborhood is quite nice and decently close to the central square. Lots of good food options in the area.

This is a beautiful riad in a good location inside the medina. It is a little calm oasis in the middle of the chaos. The room was big enough and well kept. On the terrace there is a small pool where to relax, it was really really good. Breakfast was delicious and it varied every day! They also have a kitchen in case guests want to have lunch or dinner in the riad, and the food is good with reasonable prices. Fafa is a beautiful plus :)

The accommodation was very comfortable and the breakfasts were delicious with something different served up each day. The owner Shihabe was very helpful and accommodating allowing us to have a very early check in on arrival and his recommendations for excursions and places to eat were very helpful. A word too about his two assistants Latifa and Ayoub who worked tirelessly to make sure we had a lovely time in Marrakech. We would highly recommend Matins de Marrakech so much so that we are returning there for our last night in Morocco before travelling home.on Monday.

Cons: We had an issue with aircon in one of the rooms which resulted an a few sweltering nights sleep but it was otherwise excellent. If you’re used to more western beds be aware they run quite hard.

Next time we know where to go back to stay again, here! Excellent breakfast, location is great although 20 min walking distance from market square. At night you can easily grab a taxi from the market to go back. Ayoub welcomed us with tea and delicious biscuits, and very helpful. Shihab the owner also present, and giving welcoming vibes as a host. Overall great!!

Everything! Riad was beautiful, clean, quiet. Once you enter, you leave Marrakesh chaos behind you and you can only hear birds singing. It has great location, a little bit on the side so it can be easlily accessed by taxis. The breakfast was absolutely delicious, good variety and plenty of food. Staff was great too, everyone was friendly and welcoming. Probably the best place we have ever stayed :) keep up the good work!

Our stay at Riad Matin really was beyond our expectations. Starting from how welcoming, helpful, and generous the staff members. They gave us a map of the city and nicely explained how to move around. The restaurants and attractions suggestions made by the staff were great. They also arranged trips in and out of the city, which was very organised and guides were nice. The riad always smells nice. The room was always clean with good storage. The bathroom was very clean. Breakfast was really tasty and different every day. We enjoyed the roof at night, was calm and cosy.

The host and staff were lovely...he upgraded us to a fabulous room on the uppermost floor, because Booking.com wouldn't refund our money when we changed our trip dates. It was the best Riad we visited during our 16 day Moroccan trip! He brought us a Strawberry dessert one afternoon and even arranged for us to be transported to the airport. Our driver was on time and it was easy peasy. I wouldn't stay anywhere else in Marrakech!

Mr. Shihab and Mr. Ayoub are the most kind of people we could have found in a Riad. It was our first time in Marrakesh and in a Riad and we couldn't have chosen a better one! Excellent location, close to everything and yet without too much noise. The breakfasts were wonderful, impeccable cleanliness and reaching the end of the day and being able to refresh and relax on the terrace feels very good. The architecture of the building is beautiful, traditional and makes us want to know more and more about their customs, way of life and culture. The friendliness and good mood was present from the first minute and the tips on what to see and how to get there helped us a lot. Without a doubt that if we return to Marrakech we will stay here. We have so much to say but there are not enough words to describe how good we felt in there. Book in Riad Matins de Marrakech, you won’t regret it :) Thanks for everything Mr. Shihab and Mr. Ayoub, come visit us when you can and we will be happy to welcome you.

it’s home more than property. as soon as you enter the smell and aroma are really great so you feel ur self in SPA the place really clean, comfortable beside it’s good located in the beginning of The Souq ( the old traditional market ). that means you will have daily a wonderful short trip (10 min ) walking through the the bathroom clean and designed in traditional way market to reach Alfanaa square and not far away from modern city (clubs or bars ) around 20 minutes walking or with taxi 5 minutes the breakfast is really delicious at the Terrace the staffs Shehab, Ayob, Latifa are amazing respectful friendly very helpful and good hosting. they smile always and they try to give you unforgettable memories of Marrakech after the first night you feel that you are a part of this Riad Family

Our favourite place in all of our 7-day stay in Morroco! A perfect haven to relax and get your energies back up away from the bustly and intense medina streets. Beautiful riad with ample and comfortable spaces, and an amazing rooftop where you can chill and enjoy the sun. Bedroom and breakfast amazing. The staff, Mr. Shihab, Ayoub and Latifa are amazing hosts: genuine, kind, warm and beyond helpful. Also part of the family, Fafa, the rescued street cat, which is equal parts naughty, cute and smart. Meeting this people was our favorite part of Marrakesh as they reflect Morrocan culture in the most vibrant and positive way. When we come back to Marrakesh, we are definetly staying here again! Oxalá!

Our stay at Riad Matins De Marrakech was amazing! From arrival to the moment we got in the taxi to go back to the airport, we were really looked after by all of the staff and the owner. The hospitality was perfect and all of the staff did everything to cater for us. The Riad itself is a very beautiful example of traditional Moroccan architecture, beautifully decorated and absolutely immaculate. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed and shown to our room, water provided and even arranged transfers to/from the airport, meaning we didn’t have to think or worry about anything. A map of the Medina was provided with interesting places highlighted and lots of recommendations for trips, visits, restaurants etc provided. Breakfast every day was fantastic and slightly different each day and certainly kept us going. The location was great, it’s 20 minutes steady walk to the square, close to the vast souks and surrounded by nice restaurants, shops etc. Even though life was crazy just around the corner from the Riad, it was always so peaceful and quiet inside. Attention to detail was perfect from serving breakfast to the maid tidying the room and the Riad and nothing was out of place and always very clean. The plunge pool was a delight and perfect after a long, hot day in the sun. I got in the pool every day after returning from the day, relaxing for an hour in the pool before showering and heading out to dinner. One day I took a little ill from heat stroke/migraine and everyone was so caring and kind and made me fresh herbal tea to help. I became friends with Fafa, the resident cat, who was cute and a lovely character and it was nice to see him happy in his home. I would certainly recommend this Riad and the amazing team.

I really liked this riad! It looks very good, has everything you might need. The location is excellent - when you can't reach most riads in medina by car, this one is perfectly accessible for taxis, it was very convenient! And the best thing about this riad is its staff - very friendly, always ready to help and open to any requests. For example, we got some coffee very early in the day, when we were heading to an excursion, and they even packed some food for our trip!
Cons: Nothing serious. The wi-fi wasn't working properly in certain areas of our junior suite. And I guess this is a typical moroccan thing, that the breakfast consists almost entirely of different pastries. I have gastritis, so this was a problem for me.

Exceptional care and kindness shown to myself and my husband during our stay at Riad Matins de Marrakech. They went over and above to make our stay very special. Firstly our flight was delayed and there was someone at the airport to collect us at 2.45am, they also arranged our return to the airport (keeping contact through WhatsApp). Our host Shihab spent the first morning marking up a map and telling us all we needed to know about Marrakech. The location is perfect, drop off right at the enterance and close to all attractions. Our room was clean and freshly laundered everyday, which was great as there was a heatwave during our stay. The breakfast was amazing, best we've had on all our travels, pastry, bread, cake, fruit, fresh juice & coffee, eggs, sausage, soup something different every morning. The staff are always on hand to help, giving taxi drivers directions back to the Riad on several occasions, bringing us refreshments after a long day in the madina. Please stay here if you visit Marrakech to experience how hospitality should be done, keep up the good work

The helpfulness of the owner, M. Shihab, exceeded my expectations. He helped me out to set up the walking app (maps.me) on my phone that I was able to use without the Wi-Fi. None of the four places I stayed prior to the Riad Matins has mentioned it. It was a game changer for me. The breakfast quality was also the best of all other hotels I stayed in on this trip.

The Riad was in a great location to the north of the main square so away from the noise and chaos. It took about 10/15 minutes to walk to the main square and was easy for other main attractions. The owner and staff were very friendly and did all they could to help. When we arrived Shihab the owner sat down with us and gave us lots of great tips and recommendations… the main life saver for us was downloading maps.me which works offline… essential in the city with all its winding alleyways. The breakfasts were huge and delicious served on the roof terrace. There is also a small pool with sun loungers which was lovely to use after walking all day! The Riad has about 6 rooms so is lovely and cosy… would highly recommend staying here.

Everything! We loved EVERYTHING about our visit, the amazing welcome from Shihab the owner, his staff Latifa and Ayoub, and their gorgeous cat Fahfah. The beautiful traditional Riad, the spotlessly clean rooms, and the fantastic feasts we had every morning on the roof terrace. This Riad has only six rooms which means you get a truly personal experience. It's one of the few Riads within the Medina that can be accessed by taxi to the front door. Everything is walkable from here, we didn't get cabs at all. Shihab gave us a map and recommendations of where to visit and where to eat. Two brilliant recommendations were Cafe Arabe and Limoni Restaurant both were fabulous. The pool on the roof terrace is great to refresh your feet when you have walked miles of streets, if you are as brave as my hubby a complete plunge definitely wakes you up. The visit was my Birthday present for my husband and I am so glad we chose this Riad they made everything feel special. We arrived on Saturday afternoon which is by far the maddest day of the week, the motorbikes are crazy but once you get used to them it all becomes part of the amazing craziness that is Marrakech. I would recommend this Riad and we hope to go back soon.

Very nice rooms and convenient roof terrasse for morning breakfast. Don’t skip the breakfast! It is delicious! It is an oasis of peace in the middle of a lively neighbourhood very close to medina and the souks. Another positive point is that the taxis cab drop you off you in front of the door. Not always the case in Marrakech. Thank you again Shihab for your wonderful hospitality ! We will come back !

If we could give more then 10 we would. Everything was perfect. The rooms and communal areas are beautiful and tranquil and always spotlessly clean. Lovely hot showers and comfortable beds. The breakfasts are delicious and plentiful. We soon worked out the quickest route to the main square which is a 15 min interesting stroll through the souks. The absolute best thing about the riad though is the wonderful, kind and friendly hospitality of Shahib and his team. It was a privilege to spend time with such lovely people. We really felt like we hit the jackpot with this riad. If, like me, you have spent hours looking at hundreds of riads, just stop now and book Riad Matins de Marrakech. You won’t be disappointed.

The riad is just beautiful, the owner and the hole team is so welcoming, kind and helpful. Latifa cooks a great breakfast every morning, M. Shahib gave us the best advices and explained us everything we wanted to know about the history of Marrakech. He organised a taxi for the transfer to the airport and even printed our tickets. Also the assistant is so thoughtful. We had the perfect stay at the riad and we would definitely recommend it!

Comfortable room and bathroom, had everything we needed. The owner very kindly spent some time to explain the best places to see in Marrakesh, recommend restaurants and cafés and answered our numerous questions. The riad has a lovely atmosphere and is well located for main attractions of Marrakesh. We felt safe during the whole trip.
Cons: The rooms are not very soundproof as it is a traditional type riad, we could sometimes hear people at night who would come in late and talk. The rooms have no windows (unavoidable in a riad but good to be aware of), there is a window-like opening in the room door, but the air circulation was quite limited.

We loved our week long stay at Riad Martin. The Riad is small with only six rooms, so it always had a cosy feel. The Riad is a short walk from extensive Marrakech markets, restaurants etc. We loved the breakfasts which were tasty varied and filling. The staff were brilliant always available to help day or night, suggesting places to visit and restaurants to eat at. We would recommend this Riad without hesitation. An island of peace and tranquillity amongst the hustle and bustle of Marrakech.

In addition to helping with typical host duties like arranging taxis and giving local recommendations, Shihab took time to sit down and talk. I gained a much deeper understanding and appreciation of Moroccan history and culture through our discussions. He is an excellent teacher. Looking forward to next time!

This property exceeded my expectations of a riad as it ticked so many boxes that had not been supplied in the others that I had stayed. The room was very comfortable and cleaned daily, the linen and towels were plush and the bed perfect for a good nights sleep. Everyday a different variety of a cooked breakfast was provided on the roof top terrace, the coffee was superb, and I was treated to GF bread which was such a luxury in Morocco. Riad Matins de Marrakech was a calm and quiet oasis in the medina, a place to escape to for a swim on the roof top pool or laze on the sunbeds underneath the umbrellas or even stay in for dinner if not wanting to go out. It was accessible to taxis and tour transport which was very helpful in the early mornings and coming back late at night. Thanks to the owner Shihab and his staff for such a comfortable stay.

Shihab is an amazing host. Very polite and has a lot of recommendations for your time in Marrakesch. He takes his time to take care of the visitors and speaks English very well. The breakfast which is served on the terrace of the Riad is just amazing! Moreover the Riad is very clean and a good spot to visit all the sights in Marrakesch. Definitely recommend to stay there!

This beautiful little riad is a hidden gem in the Medina in Marrakech. The owner, Shihab, went out of his way to make our stay as comfortable as possible and arranged all of our trips. The staff, Latifa and Ayyub, were wonderful and made us feel right at home. We will definitely be back!

A great place in a very nice neighborhood. Shihab and the rest of the staff were very helpful and nice. He recommended us beautiful places to visit and delicious restaurants. Our first floor room was very clean and spacious. The hotel has a rooftop sunbathing area and a small swimming pool. We definitely recommend this delightful riad. ps. When we missed our flight, Shihab helped us solve this problem

The decor, the calm oasis from a busy street and the lightness (some Riads can be quite dark) and the warm welcome and sense of security provided to me as a solo traveller from the owner Shihab and his lovely friendly and efficient staff Ayoub and Latifa. The breakfasts were delicious and different each morning and a generous serving to ensure your day started very well! The bed is very comfortable, the bathroom and shower are a good size and everything is fresh and clean. There is fresh air coming through the open courtyard which is also welcome as some other Riads I have stayed in have a closed roof. The A/C was welcome and efficient when needed. Shihab took time to explain points of interest in the city plus also send links to a range of things including restaurants and organising a 3 day trip the desert.

This riad is all renovated, beautiful, and smells like flowers. The beds are comfortable and the room was perfect for me. What I loved the most was how extremely kind and polite are the owner and the two people of the staff working there. The standard is high and the most important thing is that everything is very very clean. Moreover, it's possible to have dinner there (booked in advance) and all dishes I tried were tasty and delicious.
Cons: Not having enough days off to stay longer ❤️

Everything about this Riad was exceptional! Great friendly check in. The owner, manager and woman who cooked our breakfast were all phenomenal and made me feel welcomed and checked in often if I needed anything. The Riad was gorgeous with a nice terrace including a swimming pool. Great variety of foods at breakfast and super convenient location. I ended staying twice while in Morocco because I loved it so much!

Everything went very well. The host, Shihab, and all the staff were amazingly nice and helpful with everything, providing all the comforts we needed and very useful information to travel in Marrakesh. Room & bathroom always perfectly clean and tidy and an amazing breakfast available. The location is good, both if you want to wonder around the Medina, or if you prefer to adventure yourself on the outside as well.

The Riad is immaculately clean and comfortable, with a great location. The staff were super friendly and accommodating. The owner spent a good amount of time sitting with us on the first day to go through all the sites/attractions that would be good for us to see, some interesting places we would have never visited if it wasn't for his suggestions. The location is ideal, near to the main square (15 minute walk) but far enough away to be quiet and comfortable. There is always a staff member there, even late at night so you can have a coffee after a long day. The plunge pool is clean and just what you need after a hot day with lots of walking. Hospitality was A****
