Alles!

Personale magnifico, gentilissimo e super disponibile h24. Consiglio assolutamente.

Our room was very small. Two twin beds side by side. No room for nightstands, just a chair in the corner. (It made it hard to unpack as there was no where to put a suitcase without tripping over it. Bathroom and shower was large. Staff were helpful with any questions. The reid is in the Medina (olds town) motorized vehicles can't drive on the roads so you are dropped off 700-750meters from the entrance and you walk the rest of the way. Small pool on the roof. Breakfast was made to order (pancakes, eggs, yogurt, fruit, breads and coffee)
Cons: Riad was small and simple.

I didn’t like anything
Cons: We were given a room on Ground floor literally one step away from reception and next to the entrance door. We could hear people’s conversations over breakfast in the morning and the banging on the entrance door during the night as there’s no other way to get in than ringing a doorbell or bang on the door. Our room was dark, humid as there are no windows in the whole room and bathroom and the bathroom had mould on the walls due to the lack of ventilation. The entrance door to the room wasn’t very safe either. Even locked you could easily open it if forced a bit. Furthermore, when we complained we were told there were no other rooms available, only another one on the same ground floor. We ended up checking out after the first night as it was impossible to stay there for 5 days and enjoy it.

Cons: we arrived evening and the guy at the front wasn’t really hospitable. After filling up the papers he just went up, didn’t say that we have to follow him upstairs to our room, and then when we follow him up its just like that, then he went back again to his post. I dont know, maybe the last Riad we stayed was just had better personnel bcos there he tour us a little, explained about we have to know at the Riad & gave us some tips. But anyway, other than that encounter the first time, everything was perfect.

The stay at this Ryad was a great choice. We had just found it on Booking, fell in love with the simple, new and modern design, read the reviews and decided to book it. It concluded to be the perfect choice. We had everything we needed, the location was secluded and away from the never ending noise of the town, while being very close to the main attractions at the same time. The staff working for the Ryad, especially Anas and Aziz, did a great job. They have always jumped in to help us and accommodated all our requests. We asked the staff to help us print the plane tickets, find places around and order taxis. Amazing breakfast and coffee, simple options, but very tasty. The sheets and towels were changed often during our stay. I noticed that some people were complaining about the lack of tv or the wet air in the bathroom. In our case, we didn’t feel the need to watch tv as we were mostly on the move and the accommodation served our basic needs, in the bathroom, there is a special material that absorbs the wet air, but it takes time. No bad smell. The WiFi worked very well most of the time, just on a few occasions there were some challenges. Thank you for making our trip so enjoyable! We would gladly come back here.
Cons: What I would suggest to improve is simply adding a coffee espressor in the room, as I had during other stays in different locations. It makes it very easy for the early birds. However, this is not an impediment or such a big thing, just what crossed my mind now.

Fabulous ryad with cute roof terrace. Everything spotlessly clean, a real quiet haven from the bustling souks just outside. Yes, you have to familiarise yourself with local area but we felt very comfortable and safe in surrounding area. About a 10 min walk to the main square. Staff were great and organised our airport taxi which was good as I think we would have struggled to find it on our own. Good breakfast.

Such a gorgeous properly, really thoughtfully and tastefully decorated. Breakfast was amazing each day.
Cons: I personally did not live the location it’s in the centre of the medina and the closest point a cab can come to in a 5 minute walk. However, it is exceptionally centrally located if that is your vibe, but I prefer to be somewhere quieter. It’s very much a personal preference and not to fault the Ryad.

Really well maintained Riad with incredible staff! Located right in the middle of a busy riad so can be challenging to find at first. 10-12 minute walk the main square. Not a lot of taxi options immediately outside but you get the authentic ambiance of a riad and incredible staff. Thank you !

Amazing quiet location, only 10 mins walk to the main market square and less than 5 to some great restaurants, and Ben Youseff. Little shop on the corner at the end of the street where you can get water etc. Beautifully decorated, and cute little touches in keeping with traditional Moroccan style whilst also being clean and modern. The staff made it for me. Aziz and Anass both extremely helpful and welcoming. Mix up with the pick up transport from the airport on arrival but managed to sort it out over the phone and Anass met me to escort me to the ryad with it being late at night and not accessible the whole way by car. Even sorted out a complimentary return taxi for the way home to apologise. Best omelettes ever for breakfast too!
Cons: Nothing - only feedback I would have is maybe provide a bottle of water in the room for on arrival.

Room was very clean with a comfortable bed, shower was good with lots of hot water, good location with nearby restaurants. Taxi arranged by riad was waiting on time at the airport for our night arrival.
Cons: Host from the riad met us at the taxi to take us there which was great, however we had to wait for him to arrive which felt like ages, the driver kept ringing but no answer! Our room was on the ground floor with very limited natural light, did not cause us too many issues as we spent little time in there. It would have been nice if some fruit could have been served at breakfast as well as tea.

Cons: was promised by Receptionist to help me with taking my luggage to taxi , so booked taxi with hotel. Paid premium rather than booking myself . So do not fall into the trap using their taxis.

Welcoming and helpful staff, comfortable bed and quiet. Very centrally located close to the main square. Aircon worked well and LED could be turned off. Door frame was available to cover up the light coming in. Rooftop area was pleasant and my friends said the pool was good.
Cons: At least 2 eggs not just 1 with breakfast and some meat would have been appreciated. An actual chair in the room to sit on would have been good. No fridge so had to use the one downstairs in the kitchen and every room should have a large glass for drinking.

We were lucky enough to have the rooftop room right next to the pool, the downstairs eating area was very authentic and welcoming. Each day we were served with a lovely breakfast and choice of tea or coffee. The staff were very accommodating and made us tea at all hours.
Cons: Would have been nice to have a mini fridge in the room to keep water cold. Access is only down an alley way so not ideal for a solo traveller (specifically female)

Honestly, loved this property and everyone that works there. The time I was there it felt like I was a part of their small family. Beautifully done interior and well taken care of, in terms of cleanliness that always made me feel like I was transported into another world as I stepped in. My only issue was the location. It's deep inside the Medina. It's truly on me as I didn't research much before booking. Every time I wanted to go somewhere or get a cab I had to walk at least 10 mins to the Jemaa el-fna. It would've been fine only if it wasn't 40-degree weather me being 6 months pregnant. Also, the 10-minute walk is also not a nice walk either. It's a bit chaotic but nothing unexpected for Morocco. I would say anyone who's considering this property, do your research properly about the location and if you are okay with walking.

Clean, staff were really friendly especially Anas and Aziz. The breakfast was good, liked eating on the roof terrace too. We had dinner there on the first night which was lovely too.

It was in a quiet location not far from main streets. The pool was a good size and we usually had it to ourselves. The breakfast was varied and tasty. Overall a very pretty place.
Cons: The air-con was quite weak and yet very loud, wouldn’t go further down than 18c which made the room still feel very hot at night. The main light in the room just didn’t turn on, had to use the two bedside lights all the time. The pool also had a large amount of dead flies in it.

This is spotlessly clean, beautiful rooms and kind owner. I would have stayed here longer if i could have- but they were fully booked. Lovely bathrooms- lovely hot water. Well located.
Cons: Tip: ask for a room on the second floor. It’s quieter- i was woken both nights- first night at 3am as the front of house was sitting talking to one of the guests outside my room. The second night the front of house didn't hear the bell and the guests rang and rang, then came in. You hear this all on the ground floor. One floor up is better.

We liked the decor, the welcome, the pool, the light breakfast and the sheets / bedding.
Cons: I didn’t like that on leaving we were accused of lying. We wanted to stay an extra night and asked the owner directly if we could book a night directly with him. He agreed, we agreed a price .. this price was clearly heard by my daughter, I repeated the price, the owner clarified the price.. we both agreed.. later upon paying (insisting on cash which was fine) the lead worker requested that we pay more than what was agreed. He did not believe that the price that I said that was literally 5 euros less than the booking.com price.. it was most unpleasant and put a very sour note to a very pleasant stay otherwise.

The staff was incredibly helpful during our stay, especially Anas, who always offered Moroccan tea. Yacine provided excellent service even before arriving at the riad; he helped arrange transportation to our day trip to the Agafay desert and the airport. The traditional breakfast is incredibly delicious and from the shared spaces to the private rooms, the facility was comfortable and inviting. This riad is located in the Medina, making it feasible to walk around to the souks, the square, and numerous restaurants and rooftops during our stay. I highly recommend!

The hospitality of the staff and, in particular, we would like to mention Anass. He makes you feel at home! Furthermore, the breakfast is incredibly delicious and we did not lack anything. Clean, very nice breakfast and the staff is really kind! The Riad is lovely
Cons: It is located in the souks, so it is not easy to reach by car (closest point that cars can reach is Ben Salah mosque but it’s difficult to get them to go there), otherwise you have to get to the big square, which is around 15 minutes by walk. The last souk before the Riad’s street sells meat and fish that are kept without any type of cooling system, so you have to walk through that and smell to get there

We had one of the rooms on the roof. It was great. The staff was very friendly. We enjoyed the conversation about life, sport, entertainment, Marocco and more with the very friendly night clerk. We made friends in the neighbourhood. Breakfast was great. The hotel is situated on the edge of the soukh, in 3 minutes you are in the middle of the soukh. The hotel is quiet, clean and cosy. Thank you for the service.

The property is consistently well-maintained and is kept in good condition. The staff is notably friendly and helpful, especially Anaas. Breakfast at the rooftop is a must if you get the chance. And they were super flexible able with setting it up when we we asked. However, it's important to note that the location can be complex to navigate at times( when the souk doors are closed). There have been instances, particularly at night, where some local individuals, notably young locals, have approached us asking for pocket money, which can lead to potential scams.
Cons: In order to address the discomfort experienced during cold weather, I propose the installation of heaters in the rooms. This will significantly improve the indoor temperature, creating a more comfortable environment for sleeping.

A unique stay as it coincided with the Morocco earthquake and most of one night was spent outdoors. Staff were solicitous of our safety and breakfast was served normally the next day. The property is in the heart of the souk and the alleyway approach was affected by rubble, which was promptly cleared within 3 days. The stylish decor, helpful staff and rooftop pool are all massive positives if you can cope with the hustle and bustle outside.

Just back from a great 4 nights stay here! We couldn’t fault anything. There was a small problem with our airport transfer but that was rectified quickly and because we arrived late into the airport a staff member came to meet us to walk from the taxi to the riad. The room was very comfortable and cleaned every day. Breakfast was varied each morning and was great to try some local foods including mint tea. The riad also has a small rooftop pool where we enjoyed cooling down at the end of a very warm day. Anas, Aziz and Aziza (we hope we’ve got these names right) couldn’t have been more helpful. From calling restaurants for reservations, advising us on taxis and things to do in the local area and helping us get boarding passes printed etc they made our stay!

Gave us recommendations of activities and took us to restaurants he liked himself. Every night he would teach us a few phrases of Arabic which was lovely to learn. Overall stay was amazing and great value for money

Amazing Ryadin the old medina. Definitely recommended! Anas and Aziz were amazing at fulfilling all our weird requests. The breakfast we delicious and fresh every morning and if we wanted specific fruits Hind, the maid would head to the market and buy them for you as well. The room was extremely clean and the beds were super comfortable. It’s in a decent location not far from the local markets and restaurants. Quite close to Jemaa El-Fna and the nearest place to get a taxi is only a 10 min walk from the Ryad. Would definitely recommend this Ryad to anyone wanting to stay in Marrakesh.

Incredibly quiet location, minutes from the Medina and everything else in walking distance. Recently opened, beautifully renovated modern building with some traditional touches. Staff was lovely, respectful and discrete, some variation in breakfast every morning. Great option for a quiet retreat, we loved our little place that felt like an absolute oasis where we could relax and use the plunge pool after a long afternoon !
Cons: There wasn’t anyone at reception when we checked out and had to settle some bills. Staff was lovely and discrete, but a stronger personal touch would be appreciated - had a brief chat with the owner who seemed lovely.

The aesthetics of the Ryad, the ryad is very beautiful and our deluxe room was just perfect! The terrace where you could have breakfast in the morning . The genuineness of the breakfast and the kindness of the staff.
Cons: Little noise from other rooms through doors and windows, but I guess that is a common factor in all ryads due to the type of the building. Wi-fi signal was weak in our room.

This is such a lovely, quiet gem in the heart of the old city. The decor is beautiful and staff incredibly friendly and attentive. The setting of Ryad Selyen is magnificent and the rooms are modern but very traditional and the place became a home away from home. Large clean room with spacious bathroom and comfortable king size bed. Arranging a late check-out was no problem
Cons: Strangely enough even though we had booked a suite, there were no windows in the bedroom, so this came as a rather unpleasant surprise as it was a little gloomy. There was however one small window in the bathroom. The location was also a bit difficult to find and assistance is essential with the baggage from/to the taxi

Very comfortable and in a great location close to entrances to the souks but in a quiet alleyway away from the busy streets. The roof terrace is a lovely place to retreat to and recharge when the heat and busyness get too much. Th staff are so professional, kind and thoughtful. Nothing was too much trouble, including bringing us tea on the roof terrace every afternoon. The room and bathroom were very clean (special mention of the great shower) and the bed was huge and very comfortable. The breakfasts were very good - typically omelette, pancakes, a sweet cake, bread, honey & jam, fresh orange juice and tea / coffee. My husband is vegan and was delighted with the food he was specially given The owner visits regularly to make sure everything is going well. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay.

I liked the spacious bathroom, cleanliness and size of the room. Great Towels and Bathrobe.
Cons: When I checked in I was given no wifi, no mint tea, no tour of the terrace and then I was asked to find my entry stamp In my passport when I entered Morocco. After 10 minutes of looking the manager could not find it as I had lots of stamps. I think it could have been streamlined better for a first impression. Also I would have appreciated water in the room OR knowing how to get it.

Everything was great from the beginning until the end. Wonderful interior, peace and quite inside. Breakfast was really good 👍 service and stuff very customer oriented, they will help you with everything. I really liked the comfort of the bed I was literally amazed:) and one more amazing thing , the owner came for breakfast to greet us and talk to us (as well for other guests) which I believe is really high level of customer service. keep up the good work :)
Cons: There is only one thing, our room didn’t have a window. there was one small window in the bathroom, but in the room no and we didn’t realize this when we booked the room. So I would recommend to book another if you need daylight and recommend for the riad to maybe consider making a window like a part of the door or something.

New, clean, stylish, modern. I had a room at the top floor (two staircases, no lift), which was quite spacious. The bed was comfy, two kinds of pillows you could use (bigger and smaller based on what you prefer), relatively quiet (there is a mosque so the call for prayer will be heard everywhere no matter what hotel you'll stay in). It's in a quiet street in a busy area. I did not have the breakfast but it looked really good. The staff helped me well. Bathroom was spacious, large shower with warm water and with solid water pressure. It had a AC/heater, which worked well. Thick blankets for when it gets cold. Room has a safe, and enough hangers to hang your clothes in the closet. Also had a suitcase stand to put your suitcase on. Travelled alone as a woman, felt safe overall.
Cons: During the day I sometimes heard a zooming sounds coming from equipment next to the pool, this could be hear din my room and was annoying. It is super central meaning that you can't get there by taxi at all (streets are simply too narrow). This means someone from the hotel needs to pick you up by foot, you'd need to walk over 5 min to get to the hotel. Wifi wasn't super reliable on the top floor where I was staying, as soon as I was one floor down it was good.

We were 3 women for 3 days in this Ryad. We arrived at night by taxi. The taxi can't get to the door. The host Aziz picked us up from where we were dropped off and walked us to the Ryad. This gave us a very nice and safe feeling. A new, beautiful, attractive and very clean Ryad. Because the Ryad has just opened not many reviews. We are glad that we nevertheless chose this option. Warm welcome, good variety, breakfast, centrally located, very good and comfortable bed, nice shower and friendly staff. Especially Aziz. The owner of the Ryad also met and very friendly. I definitely recommend this Ryad.

Everything about our stay at Ryad Selyen was spectacular and much of that had to do with the helpfulness of Yacine and his team. From helping us with our late arrival to the amazing breakfast or the fantastic rooms, it seemed that our experience at the Riad was designed to simplify our weekend and give us the opportunity to have a nice time around the Medina. We also found the location a positive point as it is a few meters away from important spots like the Place Des Épices or the Madrassa Ben Youssef.
