I arrived at the hotel super late (around 10:30 pm) and exhausted from a long trip. I was greeted at the desk by Majda who was ABSOLUTELY lovely, warm, kind and courteous. She asked me how I was and got to chatting, I mentioned that I was tired and just want to check in, shower and start my 8 hours shift, she was extremely kind to upgrade my room so that I have space to set up and work comfortably and that made me extremely happy as I was not expecting that at all, it was a nice surprise! Thank you Majda - I truely appreciate you for making my day! For this alone I decided to extend my stay a few more nights. I love the place in general, the hotel and the surrounding area. What I love most is the staff's hospitality and attitude, everyone is super nice and welcoming! They all great you when you pass by with a smile and lovely greetings!
Cons: The gym was a disappointment to be honest, I was hoping (or expecting) to see a top of the line gym given that's a CR hotel, I wasn't able to use anything but a few dumbbells, the only other weight machine was out of order, the gym had the basic treadmills and ellipticals, so a bit underwhelming. I will just get day passes at nice gyms in Kech with a bit more equipment to work with.

This hotel was booked by my wife as a Surprise 60th Birthday celebration. The hotel was amazing the area was great full of nice restaurant coffee and Pastrie shops. The most amazing thing about this hotel where the staff they all looked after us so well. Madga on reception was superb Fatima was so good my wife was unwell and she kindly made her a hot lemon,ginger and honey drink a few times and your doorman Ismail these are really valuable staff that make the experience for your guest memorable. J’ai adoré mon séjour au CR7 Pestana. On est clairement sur une vibe d’appart-hôtel, très confortable, où l’on se sent tout de suite bien, presque comme à la maison. Tout est propre, moderne, bien pensé, et l’ambiance est à la fois calme et agréable. Je m’y suis sentie vraiment à l’aise du début à la fin. Un énorme merci à Majda pour son accueil exceptionnel : elle a été adorable, attentionnée et aux petits soins, ce qui fait toute la différence. Merci encore Majda pour ta gentillesse !

Cons: They told me on the phone I can stay at this hotel with my girlfriend but when we arrived they charged me double price for another room and broke the promise they made me before I booked. So first I had to pay for 2 people and then on top another room so overall they made me pay so much more money and I got nothing for it in exchange. And it was so late already that they laughed at me knowing I cannot find another hotel. Such shame

Good peaceful location, nice bell boys staff (Karim was great) very helpful. Pleasant rooftop pool, good breakfast with multiple options including eggs on demand, local and international options. We were upgraded, and the rooms were spacious and nicely appointed.
Cons: A lot of confusion on when the rooms would be available (even some past the guaranteed 3pm time) and mixed information from the different people. Service at the not-heated pool stops at 6pm. VERY bad phonic insulation between rooms (we could hear our neighbors talking + even with closed windows could hear everything from the street below). Irregular service and amenities available / replaced in room.

Cons: Extreme Lautstärke in den Zimmern, die zur Shopping Meile ausgerichtet sind, durch Live Bands und Restaurants, jede Nacht bis mind 1 Uhr am Morgen. Schlecht isolierte Fenster, sodass man nicht schlafen konnte. Es ist ein dem Management bekanntes Problem, aber man kann wohl nichts machen. Mangelhafter Zimmerservice, wir mussten jeden Tag die Rezeption anrufen, weil entweder Handtücher, Wasser oder Body Lotion nicht aufgefüllt wurde. Im Poolbereich wurde den ganzen Tag kein Toilettenpapier aufgefüllt und der Pool war unbeheizt im November. Das Frühstücksbuffet war ok, aber auch hier wurde nicht regelmässig bzw proaktiv aufgefüllt, es ging sogar morgens um 9 Uhr der Joghurt aus, sodass man zum Frühstück nicht mal mehr die ‚Basics‘ hatte, wenn man nicht grad um 7.30 Uhr am Buffet stand.

De ligging is ideaal: aan een gezellige straat met genoeg goede restaurants en winkels. Het ontbijt was ook erg goed; genoeg keuze, maar niet overdreven veel. Het zwembad op de vierde verdieping was heerlijk. Valet parking was handig. Alles voelt gewoon premium aan.
Cons: Het bed lag prima, maar dit kon zeker beter. De kussens vond ik ook onhandig groot of juist te klein.

Cons: A fixture in the bathroom was broken which makes the hotel look cheap. For a hotel of this price something like that should not be seen. There should be an ongoing list of these things kept so that the maintenance crew can priotiize their mantainence of the building.

Le service en tout premier - à commencer par la réception (Majda) et une autre dame ont été très accueillantes et bienveillantes. Et puis tout le reste du personnel. Je suis très exigeant normalement mais j'étais très satisfait par le personnel de l'hôtel.
Cons: Les equipments. J'étais dans une suite senior (106) et la porte de la salle de bain était lourde et pas maniable facilement. Et puis la porte des toilettes était transparente ce qui était un peu gênant - pas très acceptable dans une culture comme la nôtre et probablement pour d'autres (tu pouvais tout voir de l'autre personne entrain de faire ses besoins ce qui n'est pas très classe pour dire le moins). Aussi quelques équipements manquaient dans la chambre et le parterre n'était pas très propre même après passage des femmes de chambre...

This hotel gives relaxed vibes from the lobby all the way to the pool. This hotel is more of a 5 star than a 4 star. We got lucky, and they gave us a free upgrade to a suite looking over the M Avenue. It's not your all-inclusive type of hotel. It's for people who want that more classy feel to it and a relaxed vibe. The rooms were always cleaned no matter what time of the day it was, as I know some people may like a lay in.

Cons: J’ai trouvé des fourmis dans le lit et au sol. Malgré notre arrivée tardive et le fait d’avoir précisé que nous étions deux, il n’y avait des serviettes que pour une seule personne. Le ménage n’était pas fait tous les jours. Le personnel manquait de professionnalisme : le voiturier a laissé un gobelet dans mon véhicule, et un agent de sécurité nous a parlé de manière agressive lorsque nous avons voulu prendre des photos à l’intérieur, sans même vérifier que nous étions clients. J’ai séjourné dans des hôtels à Marrakech de moindre standing, moins chers, et offrant une meilleure qualité de service. »

Cons: the service is really not up to a basic 4 star hotel. At the breakfast, it was really complicated to get an earl grey tea in the morning and then once I get my pot of tea the waiter brings me an espresso cup with it :( most of the coffee machines were out of order (thk god I dont drink coffee). The 1st day I got a bottle of water, 2nd day nothing. When I called they said water was only free the 1st night. extra bottle was 6Euros. a bottle of San Pellegrino is sold 10 Euros !!!! I was at the pool and wanted to order a club sandwich and the waiter came back and said they ran out of club Sandwich. How is that even possible ? knowing that club sandwich items are very simple. I then went out on Avenue M and enjoyed a delicious meal at the Royal Kebab restaurant very fresh with amazing service and not a rip off like at the Pestana. I was really really disappointed and wont return there. It is a pity as they could really turn things around very easily. Also I think the hotel is quite recent (4 or 5 years old) but it is not at all maintained.

L’hôtel Pestana CR7 à Marrakech est un établissement récent qui séduit dont l’architecture est inspirée du style marocain. L’hôtel offre une atmosphère moderne avec une touche locale. L’hôtel est un peu en retrait de la médina, dans un quartier résidentiel moderne, commerciale et dans une zone piétonne. L’hôtel permet de profiter du calme tout en restant facilement accessible en taxi vers les principaux sites touristiques de Marrakech. Le personnel se montre aimable et attentif. Mention spéciale à Abdelali au bord de la piscine, particulièrement attentionné, à l’écoute et soucieux du bien-être des clients.
Cons: Malgré sa relative nouveauté, l’hôtel montre déjà des signes d’usure. Les moquettes sont tachées et abîmées, les coussins de piscine défraîchis, et la peinture nécessiterait un rafraîchissement. Pour un hôtel 4 étoiles, ce niveau de dégradation est surprenant. Pour le Petit-déjeuner : la qualité des produits est en deçà des attentes. Beaucoup semblent issus de la grande distribution, manquent de goût et n’offrent pas d’options adaptées (bio, sans lactose, sans gluten). Mieux vaudrait proposer moins de choix mais de meilleure qualité. Le Fitness est trop petit, pas dé désinfectant, ni serviettes, ni de l’eau à disposition. Un peu triste est délaissé. Les tapis affichaient qu’il devait avoir un entretien( lubrifiant).

The hotel was very modern and clean. The staff were amazing and friendly. Very welcoming. Breakfast was good. Bed was very comfy. We got early check in 3 hours before and room upgraded to a junior suite for free which was incredible.
Cons: One of the lights flickered in our room. Slight smell from bathroom and shower from the water sometimes. Keycard doesn’t work all the time and had to get it rescanned at reception. No remote for AC and TV could have more apps such as Netflix. Pool wasn’t great. Quite small.

Cons: Les chambres sont pas propre le sol se décolle des fourmis de partout , on était au deuxième et il y avait matin midi soir des odeur de nourriture qui remontait dans la chambre j’avais un balcon Terasse dans ma réservation au finale j’ai eu un balcon sans même une chaise à l’intérieur et tout petit , le petit déjeuner j’ai dû demander à ce qu’on débarrasse les tables toutes les tables étaient salle en plus de ça il avait j’avais d’assiettes pour se servir… la piscine est toute petite et il y’a trop de monde et pas assez de place sans compter que le serveur de la piscine me donne une carte pour commander à boire et n’est jamais revenu en sachant que je suis rester deux heures. J’ai voulu commander à manger il m’ont quand même dit au téléphone que tout était en rupture de stock.

Un remerciement particulier à Mme Soumia, responsable restauration, dont l’attention, la disponibilité et le grand professionnalisme ont rendu mon séjour encore plus agréable. L’ensemble du personnel, y compris l’équipe technique, s’est montré d’une remarquable efficacité et toujours aux petits soins. Cons: The property is infested with ants and for this reason I will never stay at PESTANA again. The price of the hotel is not cheap, so to have the entire hotel be filled with ants without properly taking care of the problem makes no sense to me. They have a maintenance person who can come and “kill” them, but it is a temporary solution. We stayed here for a week, they treated our room 1 time; 2 days later the any cake back. Because I have a little baby, I cleaned and wiped all the surfaces with ants with chlorine and soap, we could not have any open food left r crumbs anywhere because of the worry of having ants. Nothing works, the hotel is infested with ants. My husband who speaks the local language brought up the issue to one of the supervisors. This is a very easy problem to fix for good, not just temporary 2 days solution. My mom stayed on a room next to us, she had ants as well. So this is not a “our room” problem. So disappointed, sadly.

The property is modern, clean, beautifully decorated and designed and next to all amenities. The staff are polite and very helpful. It was such a pleasure staying here with my daughter and will definitely stay again.
Cons: We did not get daily room service and when we did, the floors were not swept or mopped. We had to ask for a change of towels and our bedding was not changed for our entire stay. We left the card out on the door asking for our room to be cleaned but the cleaners just threw it back in and left without cleaning. Nonetheless, the rest of the staff at reception and restaurant were great so the bad room service did not take away from our experience, it was generally positive! The other thing is, alcohol at the bar is very expensive!

Cons: Le spa à 80€ alors qu’on paye l’hôtel dans sa globalité a été le petit bémol du séjour, j’aurais aimer profiter du spa mais bon dommage

I love the location, the cleanliness and the rooftop! The rooms are very spacious and modern and the whole hotel is so chic. The swimming pool and rooftop are wonderful. Breakfast is very nice, with a lot of options to choose from. Staff are very welcoming and always go above and beyond - I highly recommend it, It was my second time and I’m going back in few days!
Cons: Some of the sun loungers at the roof top were in poor condition. In my previous two stays I had very lovely staff all around the hotel; this time it was the same, but one of the receptionists on my last day, I believe it was Friday morning/afternoon was quite rude when I asked for a recommendation and laughed at my question, I was only looking for a restaurant!

Cons: Pool was small compared to the property so it was packed the two times I tried going to the pool. Service at the bar isn’t satisfying. Ordered to drinks, only one came up after 5min, 5min after that asked where the second was and said that one ingredient to make it was missing so he couldn’t do it, but the bartender didn’t think it was relevant to come to us and tell us or even to recommend something else. While having that drink, another bartender tried a cocktail he just made to another client by deeping a straw in order to taste what he made (normal thing to do), but then wanted a second taste, and double deeped it inside and served the drink to the customer. Floor in the room wasn’t very clean, cuz my feet turned dark very quickly, and found a used coffee capsule on the floor.

Cons: I found it quite noisy due to ongoing construction work and surrounding buildings. It was difficult to relax at times because of the constant noise during the day. Just something to keep in mind for light sleepers or those looking for a quieter environment.

J’ai séjourné dans cet hôtel à Marrakech et j’ai particulièrement apprécié le professionnalisme et la disponibilité de l’ensemble du personnel, qui a grandement contribué à rendre mon séjour agréable.
Cons: Très mauvaise expérience avec le service voiturier et le parking de cet hôtel. Non seulement il est obligatoire de laisser sa clé, mais le parking est minuscule et mal organisé. L’accès se fait par un local technique très sale, ce qui est indigne d’un établissement de ce niveau. Pire encore, j’ai vu de mes propres yeux un voiturier heurter une voiture d’un client contre la porte d’un local technique en tentant de la garer. J’ai dû intervenir moi-même pour lui demander s’il avait besoin d’aide afin d’éviter d’endommager davantage le véhicule.
