Great location. The staff were extremely kind, very welcoming and truly professional. They offered us tea both upon arrival and at departure, which was a lovely touch. The property is charming and very clean, with two terraces overlooking the Medina. I really liked the mix of classic and modern style. Breakfast was simple but good.

I was not aware of what Medina will be like and that there are limitation to access it with car. Hotel is located near the entrance which is good, because taxi cannot drive into Medina. Room was spacious, clean, two bathrooms are perfect for multiple travelers. I got everything I needed. I'd give additional bonus to reception staff - those guys are perfect, they accommodated me at 1AM when I arrived, helped me a lot with restaurants, suggested activities, told some tricks. It was excellent choice. Also I was offered airport transfer.
Cons: It depends on a traveler, but sound isolation could have been better - you could hear other people leaving early. I assume they were not aware of how well I could hear them. Other issue is breakfast - taking into account that riad is basically located in the Medina (it's a market) itself, breakfast options could have been wider.

Moment an richtig wohl gefühlt.

I stayed at the Miostello Lifestyle Riad for two nights in May. It was my second hotel after I needed to change my previous one. I'm a female solo traveler, and the area is safe (all of Marrakesh is) and surrounded by shops, a pharmacy, etc. Although the riad is not in the heart of the medina, I assure you that it is in a perfect location and is very elegant for its price. The Miostello Riad is brand new, designed in a modern yet Moroccan style. It is small, private, intimate, and very quiet, providing an amazing relaxation vibe. The room was very clean, with a large bed, and I really liked the design of the room and the foyer. The breakfast was delicious and more than what you might need. The chef lady is cute and kind. There is a beautiful terrace with a relaxing atmosphere where you can unwind away from the hustle and bustle of the city. I wish I had discovered the Miostello Riad earlier so that I could have stayed there for my entire stay, but I would definitely come back to this one in particular, inshaAllah.
Cons: nothing.

The staff were lovely. Breakfast was awesome. Salah ? even came with me to help negotiate for a taxi when I was leaving
Cons: The room only had a transparent glass wall looking into the courtyard which you could cover with curtains. But then without the curtains there is no privacy in the room at all. I was a bit worried about how transparent the curtains were at night with a light on in the room. Very bizarre. All rooms are like this. Windows in a wall would have been much better.

The Miostello is situated in a serene environment. The atypical interior design made the venue welcoming and cheerful. The Riad is situated at the entrance of the Medina with easy access to Taxis, stores, restaurant, and markets, and is accessible at all times of day(safely). I loved the welcoming staff, stable WiFi, and calmness at the Riad.
Cons: Break fast is served from 8:30AM. Though this was not an issue for me given that I had early morning engagements at the other end of town, it could be an issue for Tourists who might have to leave earlier than 8:30 AM to tour the town. I did not complain about this to my hosts because I was not particularly affected by it. Am sure they can adjust this timing if guests have a specific need.

This was a 5 star experience in a beautifully designed Riad . Everything from reception desk to cleaning was superb . The staff here were some of the most professional & friendly I have ever met & I am a seasoned traveller . The guy on reception was superb went above & beyond for the guests . My room was stunning , super comfy , well designed , immaculate , and I slept like a baby . Great rooftop terrace . I was a single female & not once did I feel unsafe . Ok I didn’t wander the streets late at night but I never encountered a single issue whilst at the accommodation or on the surrounding area . I would highly recommend this place and would choose to stay there any time I go back to Marrakech . I has the most relaxing , beautiful vacation in wonderful surroundings & whoever owns and runs this Riad should be celebrated for what they have achieved here it’s stunning .

We had a room for two, with plenty of space and natural light. The mattress and pillows were very comfortable. There are many Wi-Fi spots, plenty of chill-out areas, and everything is spotlessly clean. The design is modern—it feels like a quality hotel. It’s located near the gates of the Medina. We tried local food nearby, which was cheaper than in the touristy areas and surprisingly good. We’d love to come back.

Very comfortable and pleasant stay. The staff went out of their way to make me feel comfortable. Being new to Marrakech and as a solo traveler I didn’t know how to judge what is safe or not. This area is safe. The street is narrow but I always encountered nice neighbors. Even so the riad is happy to meet you so you don’t walk alone. The Medina starts one block away and is local so you see more produce and baked goods. I would absolutely stay here again
Cons: There is only hand soap. Shampoo and body wash would be nice.

Spent 3 nights here as a solo female traveller and was incredibly happy with my choice. Location is ideal, right by the airport bus stop and very close to a street with lots of good, affordable restaurant choices. The owner/manager and all staff were incredibly attentive and the dorm layout and cleanliness some of the best I've experienced. Some reviews said they struggled to find it but if you're following Google maps it's very accurate!

The concept with the fairly private bunk beds is great! The small space is superb and the beds are comfortable. The facilities are clean and pretty fancy (brand new sun beds, etc.)
Cons: Even though the beds offer more privacy than most Hostels it’s still not a pod. It’s only curtains that separate the beds from the room, so you hear every cough and noise almost like in a normal Hostel. So for me it’s still a Hostel, and if it has amazing facilities the higher price may also be justified. But I would have expected from a luxury Hostel a towel for example and a self locking locker. But there was no towel provided and the lockers don’t have locks, so you need to bring your own or rent one for an additional amount. That really bothered me as for almost 40 Euro per night (incl local taxes), I would have expected to not pay extra for a lock.

The property is very well lit and aesthetically nice. The staff is courteous and very well mannered.
Cons: The location is not that great considering no taxi or car can come there so you have to carry your trolley luggage all the way. There are no directions and boards too. The staff is nice but the owner/manager was rude. For a private room they will charge in excess of 850 Dirhams or 75 Euros but they won’t put a water bottle of 3Dirhams inside the room and then kept a price of 15 Dirhams to make extra bucks. Very basic facilities inside the private room as per the price point and other 4 star hotels in the neighborhood. Also, the breakfast options are so damn limited.

The rooms and bathrooms are immaculate, the individual pods make it really private, comfortable and quiet. Nice courtyard and nice rooftop terrace. Very convenient being so close to the bus station, easy access to the medina without having to navigate through the busy streets too much with all your bags.
Cons: For the price, a towel should really be included.

Beautiful boutique hostel, spotless clean, comfortable sleeping capsules and beds ensuring lot of privacy even in dorms, hot showers, cute interiors, nice terrace. When I arrived late the 1st night exhausted, the staff made me pizza which I am grateful for.
Cons: Popular location near Bab Doukkala, but uncomfortable entrance through narrow alleys. Food and drinks are priced high (higher than even adjacent restaurants). Everywhere in entire Morocco, be it public bus, toilet booths in the remote Sahara or a small shop or restaurant 1 min from this hostel, people use 1 euro and 10 dh as the same. But here staff had some self benefitting rules about currency, where they first overcharge city tax (to be paid in euros) by converting into Dirhams at their preferred rate 1 euro = 12 dh and then again try overcharge if you pay for any service in Euros now at 1 euro = 8 dh. So I went out at 10 pm and got the required dirham in 2 mins at the usual rate to avoid getting overcharged again. The owner tried explain his rationale later but I felt the lack of customer relationship through the defensive attitude of the owner / staff and left a bitter taste.

Cons: The water was cold for two days straight and we were not able to take a shower. The owner even admitted that the water heating system was broken on the day he had noticed but when we checked out, the staff tried to tell us that it was our fault, we did not use the water correctly and that we should have let it run for a few minutes and it would have worked. So there was no price reduction - even though other people had gotten one the day before. We felt completely cheated - having had to pay European prices with a non-European standard of cold water (very cold considering the outside temperatures of only slightly above 10 degrees.)

This was my second time staying at this hostel and I absolutely love it. The staff are wonderful, especially Safar. I recommend staying here. It’s very modern and clean hostel. The pictures are true to the properties so there’s no surprises. The beds are comfortable and you have your own personal locker if you’re staying in the shared room. They also have private rooms.
Cons: If you’re a single female traveler, just be careful at night because the area is a little unsafe.

The rooms were very clean, comfortable, and the staff were lovely.
Cons: The bathroom had very limited hot water, to the point where I could only have cold showers. It also completely flooded every time anyone turned a shower on, making you wade through quite a significant puddle anytime you needed to use the bathroom. The staff did clear it up a couple of times a day, so I'm sure they are aware of the issue.

Im finishing my 15 days trip in Morocco and this was hands down my best stay. Claudio the Italian guy who manages the place is the most wonderful person who makes you feel so welcomed! Their website mentions a tax of 25Dirhams/night but i was charged 30Dirhams/night for 2 nights. The staff who checked me in showed no interest in explaining points of interest around the accommodation. The staff kept turning the AC off even though the tenperatures were in excess of 35deg celcius. Negatives aside the property is very clean. Beds very comfy. Locker provided. No towels or body wash provided so bring your own. If getting off at the train station, tax a cab to Bab Doukkala & walk 5 mins.

Everything perfect. New hostel in between the Medina and the new Marrakech: the best of both worlds! I loved the cabin concept, it gives you the sense of being in your little room plus privacy There are two main sides: the female and the mixed Great place to work if you’re a digital nomad since there are multiple common areas and rooms plus great WiFi connection! Little terrace to chill, just missed the socialization part, but guess it’s not yet popular amongst the solo travelers.
Cons: Nothing really. As a female I’d say Some ladies might feel uncomfortable with the showers though, in case they book a mixed dorm. But not an issue, just observation

Great location to walk within the Medina and get to the museums. I arrived late on a Saturday night & the team arranged a driver who walked me from the carpark down the alleys, I really appreciated this being a solo female and not knowing the areas. I stayed in a private room that was just big enough for myself. The curtain that blocks off the main area is a bit awkward but I just put my bag on the corners so I wasn’t worried. Wifi was good. Beautiful spaces to meet other people, although I was out most of the time.

The staff were incredibly friendly and every bit of the hostel was so clean and modern! it's a one-of-a-kind place in Marrakech, I'm sure, and worth every penny! I came to Morocco to rest and could not have asked for a better place to do so than Miostello! HIGHLY recommend

This is one or maybe the most beautiful hostel I have ever been. Everything is as on the photos and even better. I stayed in a private room and it was very clean and comfortable. Dorms look very good also. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the location is amazing. The hostel is located at the beginning of the medina and with this it is very comfortable to explore both medina and the new parts of the city. I would definitely recommend this place for a stay!
Cons: There is no kitchen in the hostel, so it's not comfortable to buy fruits and eat them in the hostel. There are always space between the curtains in the room, so you don't get 100% of the privacy. Providing some clippers for the curtains could solve this problem. The hostel is not difficult to find, but there is no sigh of the hostel on the main street.

The hotel was close to Gueliz and the main square but still in a none busy area. Clean room, comfortable bed, you barely hear noises at night. the common area and terrace were calm during the day , I was able to work there comfortably. I highly recommend for people who work remotely. All the staff were welcoming, and nice.
Cons: I wish the curtains were full light blocking, my sleep was disturbed because I prefer sleeping in darker rooms.

Cons: The calculation of what I had to pay was done in a peculiar way. I was asked to either pay with a credit card, in dirhams or with exact change in euros. The price was €60.82 inclusive of tax, but the owner demanded €70.00 as he does not accept coins. Later, I realized that it could have been €65 because we had a €5 note after all.

Cons: Even though there was a curtain, I still didn't feel that I had full privacy because it was just a window between my room and the corridor rather than a wall.

Lcation is good, room is clean, but it is difficult to find the hostel which is inside a very samll street, so if the owner can provide a photo and show the entrance, that will be helpful. The only one place in my trip that the breakfast doesn't have eggs and ham (meats).
Cons: the owner is very nice. But the trips I booked through him was more expensive than outside and didn't match what I had been told.

Comfortable, beautiful property. Fast Wi-Fi, Friendly staff.
Cons: I was a little disppointed with breakfast. Lot of different breads and jams, but it was lacking proteins, or whole grains - no meats, no eggs, nothing whole grain.

Strong wifi, super clean, organized, comfortable linens, hot shower. Great view on the terrace, easy location in and out of the medina. As well as easy to find. One of the best hostels I have visited in my years of travels, by far the best in Morocco.
Cons: I had a wonderful experience. I really don’t have anything negative to say. Price point was a little higher for my budget but there was great value behind it so I am happy with my stay. At that price point for Marrekech I would think there would be a breakfast included in comparison with competitors but I was fine without it as I had other plans anyways and it kept the dining area clean and quiet in the mornings to sleep.

The hostel looks fantastic, the rooftop is a great place to relax after a busy day in the medina, and those pod type beds are amazing in the dormitory.
Cons: During the 5 nights I stayed, there were only two other solo travelers. It’s really a great & clean hostel, but I wouldn’t come here again if I wanted to meet people.

The hostel is super new and I loved the design. The staff was super nice and helpful. The italian manager gave us suggestions of places and restaurants to go. It was very useful to get there by car / taxi, only 1 min walk with the suitcases inside the pedestrian streets.
Cons: The price was a bit elevated for the size of the dohble room and being without breakfast.

Modern Japanese style capsule hostel. Facilities were clean, staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. Comfortable common area. Located in the north of the medina where it is quieter and further away from the tourist sites (can be a pro or con). Has great potential as a higher end/more mature backpacking hostel.
Cons: Overpriced for what it is. 30+ euros for one person in a shared 8-bed capsule. Towels cost extra and no toiletries included. Food and drinks a bit too overpriced (20Dh for a can of soda). No social environment because hostel was empty, probably due to price. Stayed for 2 nights then moved between backpacker hostels (5 euros) and riads/hotels (30-40 euros). Property would perform better at a 20 euro price point.

Claudio is the manager of this hostel and he is a very dedicated host. everything is kept very clean and the design is just wonderful. I have been twice at this hostel and I can only recommend it to other travelers who want to be in a good location for exploring the old town of Marrakech as well as visit the new, modern part of it. the rooms offer anything you need (clean showers, warm water, towels at demand, ..) and the sleeping boxes are very comfortable. the setup of the rooms is definitely beyond what regular hostels offer. when some things with the tours did not go well, Claudio was eager to compensate the mistakes and make up for it. overall, I can say I am happy to have stayed in this hostel for my travels in Marrakech.
Cons: nothing
