Tigmiza Boutique Hotel&Spa ist etwas ausserhalb gelegen aber mit den Hotelshuttles war man schnell in den Souks und im Herzen Marrakechs. Tigmiza Boutique Hotel & Spa ist seine 5 Sterne wert-ein Traum! Das Hotel bzw. Interieur ist so schƶn und mit viel Liebe zum Detail gestaltet. Das FrĆ¼chstĆ¼cksbuffet hat unsere Erwartungen weit Ć¼bertroffen, sehr reichliches und fĆ¼r alle GeschmƤcker vorhandenes Angebot. Wir haben uns jeden Morgen darauf gefreut. Unser Sohn hat die Poolanlage geliebt sowie das Essen aus der Poolbar. Das Personal am Pool war auch sehr aufmerksam. Unsere Kinder hatten sogar die Mƶglichkeit, ein Kino allein zu nutzen. Die Zimmer wurden mehrmals am Tag gereinigt bzw. uns wurden immer frische TĆ¼cher angeboten und die Zimmer mit SĆ¼ssigkeiten, Obst und Wasser hinterlassen. Die Rezeption stand uns fĆ¼r alle Fragen stets zur Seite. Wir empfehlen auch das Abendessen im hauseigenen Restaurant. Service und KĆ¼che waren top! Ganz besonders wird uns Aissam in Erinnerung bleiben, der uns jeden Morgen mit seinem grossartigen LƤcheln und seiner Ć¼beraus positiven Art jeden Wunsch erfĆ¼llt hat. Die Mitarbeiter waren einfach alle top. Choukran!!

What can I say, the service was absolutely outstanding. The staff cannot do enough for you, from laying out your towel on your sunbed to the attentive bar service. The pictures on booking.com do not do the hotel justice. We stayed in a suite (the most basic room) which was enormous. Complimentary water provided in the room everyday along with a bowl of fruit at the start and little edible treats at the turn down service late afternoon. Nespresso machine too. Upon arrival you get WhatsApp dialogue with the concierge where you can request what you please. We constantly had staff reiterate if there was anything we needed just ask. Food and drinks are priced accordingly for a 5 star resort and I think the 10% service charge on all food and drinks is fair considering it is equally shared amongst all staff so no need for tipping. And yes you get a great service so completely worth it. The food is excellent and tasty with both a Moroccan and international menu. If you want to feel like you are in your own private hotel, and donāt like to feel in a crowd, it ticks al the boxes!
Cons: The only negatives for us, was that it was extremely quiet of an evening but that may be a bonus for some. It would have been nice to have a bit more ambience on the roof terrace with some music.

Fantastic quality boutique hotel. Staff are extremely attentive, polite and know how to deliver a luxury 5 star service to guests. Very high quality food available throughout the day. There was plenty of space available around the hotel pools, adequate distance between loungers. Of particular note were Hamza on reception and Omar the pool attendant. Both were extremely attentive and excellent at their jobs.
Cons: A very minor point was that at breakfast, one buffet plate offering smoked salmon had run out one morning. I requested that it be replaced and was told that there was none left.

Spacious, beautiful and very well maintained complex with friendly and attentive staff. There are 3 lovely pools and even though the hotel was at full occupancy, it never felt busy or cramped.
Cons: The drinks within the complex are very expensive, such as a bottle of water (Ā£7) and cocktails (Ā£16). We bought a bottle of wine with no price on the menu and yes we should have asked the price, but were quite taken aback with the Ā£47 price! If the drinks and food were a little cheaper, it would have encouraged us to purchase more drinks and food around the pool and at the restaurant.

The hotel and grounds were really pretty and it was very relaxing. The breakfast was good and the staff were really friendly. We ended up arriving a day early for our original booking and the hotel were really fantastic in ensuring we had a room for the extra night and switched us to the original room when it was available. It was a really lovely stay and that bit of luxury we needed at the end of the holiday.
Cons: My only complaint is the price is soft drinks and water by the pool. Everything else was the sort of price you would expect but the soft drinks and particularly the water was very expensive. Everything else was really good.

The breakfast was excellent, with a great selection of fresh, high-quality food each morning. Our suite was impeccableābeautifully appointed, spotlessly clean and incredibly comfortable, providing the perfect place to relax. The pools, gardens and facilities were all outstanding. The beautifully maintained grounds created a peaceful oasis, and every part of the hotel reflected the same high standard of care and attention to detail. Tigmiza is a beautiful resort with lovely gardens and villas and rooms full of Moroccan character. The pools are large and clean (no real shallow ends to speak of though) and the sunbeds are comfortable. In general, the staff are friendly. The breakfasts were good (especially the omelettes) if you don't mind sharing your pastries and breads with the birds who fly in routinely. The thing that really upset us was the charge for soft drinks, water, and ice that the management refused to compromise on when my family wished to remember a loved one who had passed away just a few days earlier. Despite many conversations, we had to accept that 5 small cans of coke, 5 small cans of tonic water, 4 bottles of water and a bucket of ice was over 80 pounds. The ice itself was 20 pounds because we happened to bring a bottle of wine with us and didn't buy it from the hotel. This was totally unacceptable and soured our personal experience.

The place is expensive and is isolated with very limited conveniences. One ā¦very expensive restaurant with almost no real food choicesā¦some European and Moroccan fare. Front desk staff is belligerent and very uncooperative. Grounds are well kept with an available ATM outside. One way taxi ride from train station to hotel is USD$25.- Nice swimming pool with nice foliage but few takers however. Free daily Shuttle bus/navette to and from hotel to downtown Marrakesh Medina runs 3x/dayā¦about 20 minutes each way. First bus to town is 10AM and the last returning bus returns to hotel at 8:30PM. A 20 minute sweltering walk from bus drop off downtown to the central walled souk/Medina. Recommend to choose another hotel for better food/services, more conveniences, less front desk hassles and closer to town. Most of all a place that gives better value for your money. Overall rating 4/10. Cute but not recommended.

They had flies and insects in the room. We left our room one day earlier and requested for the refund. They did not give us and said they will give us credit towards next stay within six months. How does it possible to use that credit if we are not going back to that same hotel and flying to Morocco from USA again. I should be refunded

Cons: La habitaciĆ³n estaba literalmente llena de hormigas en todo momento. La cama y las almohadas eran horribles, no propias de un hotel de esas caracterĆsticas. Desayuno insuficiente para las caracterĆsticas del hotel. UbicaciĆ³n horrible, todos los dĆas tuvimos que pagar transporte privado, el hotel tiene muy pocas horas de transporte gratuito

This hotel is stunning. :) Amaizing garden with palmtrees, clean pool, interior desing is perfect :) the stuff is so helpful and kind. The foods are tastey and fresh. Our room had been cleaning every day. So we had a great time there. Lokation is good, because the medina is 15minutes by car. Well I heartily recommend it.

We had an amazing family stay in a villa with a private pool. The property was beautiful, the atmosphere was relaxing, and the breakfast was excellent. Most of our days were spent at the third pool with our children, enjoying the sunshine and the outstanding service. A special thanks to Ahmed, who looked after us throughout our stay. His warm hospitality, professionalism, and refreshing smoothies made every day even more enjoyable. Ahmedās attention to detail and friendly attitude truly enhanced our experience. Beautiful, calm hotel with exquisite design throughout. Spacious, tasteful rooms with super comfy beds and pillows. We stayed in La Verte and loved it. Excellent food (loved breakfast!) service and staff. Loved the main pool area - extremely relaxing. The Hammam & massages were excellent - great staff there too. Easy shuttle service into the centre of Marrakech. Celebrating a birthday during our stay and the staff were attentive and made us feel special. Everything has been thought about at this property, to really high standard and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
Cons: Perhaps ensure irons are in every room - we did know about this before our stay but our travel iron turned out to be not very good!

Alle sprechen gefĆ¼hlt mindestens 3 sprachen was alles sehr vereinfacht aber manchmal auch zu MissverstƤndnis fĆ¼hren kann was aber menschlich ist meiner Meinung nach. Wir haben uns vom ersten Moment an gefĆ¼hlt wie in einer grossen Familie da. Es gibt 3x am tag ein kostenloser shuttleservice zur Medina oder in den grossen Garten und die Zeiten sind echt genial. Wir kommen gerne wieder

Superb hotel experience. This was my second time staying here and loved it. Really enjoyed the heated pool and cinema. Was delighted and thankful for getting an upgrade to the villa with a private pool. Very spacious with good facilities. All staff were very friendly and helpful. The shuttle bus to and from the hotel was handy too. Enjoyed the spa too.

Nota importante , un tronco di grandi dimensioni si ĆØ staccato dalla pergola del terrazzo colpendo nostro figlio di 5 anni .... poca attenzione nei confronti di questo grave accaduto

I stayed in anglaise, in April and the room was covered in ants. There were ants in the bed, ants in the room and in the bathroom. I got bitten alive. I complained for three days with failed cleaning attempts. On the third day they blamed me for having food under the bed attracting them.... I never ate in the room or ordered room service so they admitted they didn't clean the room properly from the previous people. They apologised and offered a 30 min massage available 2.5 hours after I had to check out.... it's not acceptable for a 5 star hotel to have ants and food left under the bed and get blamed

The grounds are beautiful. Very pretty pools, one of the three is heated. The shuttle bus to and from the city centre is helpful. Yoga was fantastic (although not included in your stay and charges London prices). Cinema is a welcome addition for little ones on a rainy day. The gym is also good. Hamza and Asma very helpful.
Cons: The breakfast, although basic, is fine. Food could do with coverings to keep the flies off. Coffee is terrible. Dinner is limited menu and expensive. The hotel is shabby chic style so not for you if you prefer a modern style. The bathroom didnāt match expectations of a five star hotel.

Cons: Ā· Think twice before booking this place. The amenities pool, room were great. Nevertheless the concierge lady was a nightmare to deal with. She was extremely condescending with my wife. She booked us a camel ride for oir family in which we ended up at a dirtbike, atv area with kids using their bikes all around, and the staff beating the horses and camels with a stick slapping them in their face. This was the most traumatizing experience for our daughter that was crying and wanting to leave immdediately. The concierge lady was unhelpful with all of our reservations trying to make things so difficuly clearly for us to stay in the hotel and dine on site. It was supposed to be wonderil relaxing family weekend but ended up stressful. Other hotels in the area will he more welcoming than this host.

For review: Our stay at Tigmiza was absolutely wonderful. After experiencing Marrakesh whilst staying in the Medina in the past, this time around we wanted to be slightly away from the hustle and bustle and Tigmiza was a calm oasis. The hotel itself is beautiful. I took so many photos - I donāt think the ones online really do it justice! We stayed in one of the Pavilions, a huge space with our own private terrace for reading, playing cards and drinking our morning coffee. The pavilion rooms are situated a short walk from the main pool area and yet felt lovely and private. The pools are wonderful and in such stunning settings. We never struggled with finding sunbeds when we were there. The food at all three main restaurants - their Moroccan style, international style and pool-side restaurant - was delicious and varied enough for us to have several meals at the hotel. The most important thing to call out is the staff at Hotel Tigmiza. Everyone who works there is incredibly warm, friendly and helpful. We felt right at home as soon as we arrived. We visited during Ramadan and were conscious that at certain points in the day, the majority of the staff might be feeling particularly tired - but the staff were gracious and wonderful throughout. We are extremely grateful for their service, particularly Aissam, who went above and beyond to accommodate us, especially in providing special gluten free food alternatives for me. The daily free shuttles into the Medina were fantastic and the staff are also happy to arrange private taxis for you (at an extra cost but great for piece of mind, for example for your airport transfer). Weāve recommended this hotel to friends already - we hope to come back one day!

Itās a beautiful oasis about 20/30mins outside Medina. (Traffic can be a deal breaker took an hour to get to hotel due to traffic). There is a heated Pool which was wonderful option as in late March weather was lovely enough to use the heated pool.
Cons: The food in the restaurant was not as good as you would expect in such a big class hotel. Such a shame as restaurant menu was good but food just didnāt meet the grade. Breakfast had an excellent choice, would have been nice to have a local option to at least try.

Fabulous 5 night stay in a suite.They provided an efficient pick up service from airport which took 30mins.Hotel and grounds are beautiful,such a calm oasis contrasting with the hustle and bustle of the medina.Very friendly staff and good concierge advice regarding day trips.Breakfast very good,if a little repetitive.Heated pool lovely.Others too cold in March.Beds and pillows comfortable and nice toiletries in bathroom.Turn down service with little cakes and water replenished.Ate in the hotel 1 night,food was nice,wine expensive.Shuttles to medina worked well but frequency and times could be improved.

Tigmiza is a nice hotel with beautiful grounds : A gym , 2 pools , one heated in the shade and another large one in the sun where one can Have lunch . The spa is lovely and staff very professional. The massage was wonderful. The two restaurants intl ( and breakfast) and Marrocan are very nice with good food and lovely staff . Breakfast was wonderful . The woman concierge was lovely at reception and afternoon gentlemen lovely and helpful . There is a shuttle taking you for free roundtrip to the center 5 mns walk to the medina but it leaves at 10am back at 1pm which for us was often too late to go and too early for the return . Each taxi ride is 200 mad to go during the day which you need to organise In advance as there are no taxis waiting outside. 250 mad from 8pm. The room we had was nice with a private pool with a bedroom on first floor with terrace and a double bed downstairs in the living room which were both very comfortable. Wi-Fi was great but the cleaning could have been better and maybe some areas to be refurbished or make better . The room service was lovely as well as giving you 2 bottles of water each night with biscuits - nice touch . The hotel for us was too far from the center, so as we like to go out to the medina and around as well as restaurants in Marrakesh , we needed to leave 45 mns before our reservation time in order not to be late, due to traffic . Too much and not practical . A lovely stay nonetheless . Ps: 1. know that there is ATM machine just outside the hotel . 2: As we are not allowed to bring any food into the hotel and you are far away from anything - you should have daily some chocolates, biscuits, chips .. in the area of the fridge with the coffee . Would be nice.

Cons: Die Lage ist auĆerhalb der Stadt, man hƶrt nachts Hunde bellen und auch teilweise leichten Verkehr. Wir fanden es etwas befremdlich, dass bei einem so hohen Preis Yoga und sogar der Saunabesuch extra kosten sollen. Das sollte inklusive sein. Richtig negativ Ist uns das Fitnessstudio aufgefallen, dies ist sehr klein, die Ausstattung wirklich alt / ungewartet und es war sehr dreckig. Hier sollte dringend etwas unternommen werden. Das entspricht nicht dem Gesamteindruck des Hotels, das ansonsten sehr sauber und toll war. WƤre das Fitnessstudio nicht gewesen, dann hƤtte das Hotel 10 Punkte verdient

Cons: Restaurant was expensive and the quality is very average. It's the biggest downside of this property. Was expecting a complimentary Yoga session but wasn't available during our stay. Hit and misses from staff, service also needs to be reviewed although everyone was kind and attentive. We had a great time but for extended stays, food prices and quality is a big no for me, considering also the property is located away from the city with no real options close by.

Upon arrival, we were met by the guest relations manager, who gave us a tour of the hotel and its facilities. We booked a pool villa, (Villa 1) which was amazing and blissfully peaceful. The bird song in the morning was lovely. We spent most of our stay relaxing in the villa's private garden where there was plenty of sun or shade and complete privacy. Having just spent 4 days in Marrakech city, we decided not to use the free shuttle service to the city, and only ventured out to eat in the restaurant and walk around the grounds. All the staff we encountered were friendly, helpful and fluent in many languages. Breakfast choice was extensive and eggs freshly cooked to order in any fashion. The restaurant had a good choice of food (from 2 menus) with an amazing friendly team. The bonus was the entertainment in the restaurant every evening, which was very good.

We had an AMAZING stay at this hotel. The heated pool plus two other pools were an amazing place to relax. We had great massages in their spa and the suite was spacious. The whole place is tasteful and we had an exceptionally warm welcome, one of the nicest hotels we have ever stayed in. If I was being picky Iād say that the food options are limited if you have a child, as you can only order room service at the weird times we eat (dinner at 6pm). There was also an Arabian night on the rooftop bar our last last. It sounds absolutely amazing but again as we had a child we were in bed early and the loud noise kept us up until 11pm. Overall though, we would highly recommend this hotel and would come back again, next time weād attend the Arabian night and deal with a grouchy child the next day instead of missing it!

The 2 pools are really nice, one exposed to the sun , the other one under a lot ofplantain trees. , but heated. The kids enjoyed that one. The breakfast was good, could have used more different fruits. The room was not ok , it was an old structure, very rumorous and dark , get little sun and I had construction oven my roof all day. The bathroom is in the other side of the room, wich is spacious, so you have to walk across the living room at night.

On a pu se balader dans tout le domaine au calme loin du bruit et de la foule. A faire une fois dans une vie c'est mĆ©morable on en garde de trĆØs beaux souvenirs sur photo et dans la tĆŖte. The garden, swimming pools and nature are simply amazing. The sauna is good value for money and the staff at the SPA is very kind despite not speaking English. Also good idea to have a shuttle to the city center.
Cons: Given the amount you spend for the night here, I would expect some services to be included like free access to yoga studio/classes or water from the minibar. Not all the staff speak English. The food is good but again considering the prices slightly underwhelming.

Had some concerns about the fact that it is 20 min outside the center but after arriving I can only say that this is definitely not a problem. Itās such amazing boutique hotel and you really need the tranquility offered when back from the city. After all you only go once in the morning and once in the evening to the center. Shuttle bus is available but a taxi is not more than 100 MAD. The rooms and public areas are spotless, the one bedroom villa is huge and definitely worth the spending. It has been a great stay!

We had a wonderful stay! The two-story villa was beautiful and very welcoming, with plenty of space and comfort. The private pool was a great addition ā perfect for relaxing in privacy. The main pools were also excellent, always clean and well-maintained. The poolside bars served delicious food and really good cocktails. Breakfast was delicious, with fresh food available every morning. Overall, a fantastic experience!

Cons: Not a big issue, but the food was quite slow when we ordered lunch at the pool bar - we were the only ones there and ordered two burgers, yet we waited at least an hour for our food. I noticed the same thing happening every day at the pool bar of another hotel we stayed in in Marrakech, not sure if this is a coincidence or some kind of intentional practice in the area.

Tigmiza is the most beautiful oasis of calm and tranquility, outside the madness of the Medina. The hotel offers a free shuttle service (about 20 mins) several times a day. Absolutely perfect!! From the moment we were picked up at the airport, we were treated like āroyaltyā. Nothing was too much trouble and I have add, that we were totally blown away by the service we were greeted with, by every single member of staff. A special mention must go to Lamia, the Concierge, who was absolutely brilliant. The holiday was a special birthday celebration for my husband, and upon arrival we were upgraded to the most amazing two bedroom, duplex pool villa with a private garden. Stunning!!! Iām Coeliac, but this was absolutely not an issue. Lamia ensured that the chefs and waiters were aware of the fact that I couldnāt eat gluten. I was presented with home made, freshly baked gluten free bread, at every meal. At breakfast, I was also presented with a plate of gluten free pastries. We ate in the hotelās Moroccan restaurant, on our first night, which was brilliant. But, the āicing on the cakeā was the gluten free birthday cake, made for my husband. It was fabulous! Lamia also booked all of our restaurants, in the Medina and made sure they were aware that I canāt eat gluten. (Not massively easy in Marrakech) The grounds of the hotel are beautiful and lovely to come back to after a full morning in the Medina. Lunch at the pool restaurant was my favourite time of day! And, a special shout out to our wonderful waiter, who really looked after us. Thank you to all of the staff at the hotel! You, more than anything else, help to make this one of the best hotels, we have travelled to, anywhere in the World. (And, thereās been a few over the years).

The hotel is beautiful and set in beautiful grounds, but itās the staff that really sets the bar! Every member of staff goes out of their way to be helpful and considerate. Awesome training! But, a special mention must go to Lamia, the concierge. She helped to make a birthday trip even more special! Just canāt thank her enough for everything she did for us. (And, we loved our upgrade. The villa was stunning)! Finally, as a Coeliac and therefore strictly gluten free, this hotel was amazing! I was made gluten free bread at every meal and at breakfast, I was served a plate of gluten free pastries. Lunch at the pool restaurant, every afternoon was excellent! (A special mention to our waiter, who really looked after us well). But, the highlight, was our meal in the hotelās Moroccan restaurant on our first night. We pre-ordered the Chefās special Roast Lamb. It was incredible. But, the āicing on the cakeā was the gluten free birthday cake, made by the chef for my husband. We both said it was one of the best desserts, either of us had had. Gluten free or otherwise! Definitely the best meal of the trip, by far.

We had dinner twice and the first night was very good, the second time the food didnāt feel as fresh, and we both had stomach issues. A few more transfers to the Medina throughout the day would add more value to the whole offering.

Just a lovely, lovely hotel. You can pretend to be royalty for a few days. The staff are super courteous and nothing is too much trouble for them. The grounds and swimming pools are a delight and the bedrooms sumptuous. The two restaurants serve a great selection of food in terrific ambience and lunch by the pool was also great. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. The only downside is the Ā£20 each way into, and back from town by taxi if the free shuttle timings donāt suit you. As everywhere in Morocco, tipping ensures great service and is very gratefully received. The exchange rates in Morocco are 30- 40% better than in the UK, so only change a small amount here.

The hotel and facilities were amazing. A beautiful oasis just half an hour outside the hectic Medina. The staff couldnāt do enough for you. We had a private villa and it felt like heaven. The food was excellent and a great variety. The private cinema that you could book out was also a wonderful experience.
Cons: Everything was fantastic. My only criticism would be to have more non alcohol options on the drinks menu (eg alcohol free beers). As a pregnant person my choices were quite limited.

Cons: The only negative aspect of our 3 night weekend stay at Tigmiza was one staff member on the front desk with whom we had multiple negative experiences - I am genuinely amazed to find this person in any kind of customer contact position - particularly in a 5 star property Card issue - on arrival having organised payment for the majority of our stay prior to arrival there was q balance of 600 euros to pay - unfortunately there was a card issue - these things happen so no biggie - However what we were met with was a total lack of empathy / discretion - ability to problem solve and a borderline rude comment that we would not be able to put anything on the room but would have to pay in cash for each and every transaction - announced to us ( and the guests waiting behind us ) - a truly embarrassing and unnecessarily stressful beginning to our stay - how about we just leave a cash deposit at reception as is the norm when this sort of thing happens ?!? This would have been easier all round Restaurant reservation issue Iād organized 2 dinners at the hotel with the concierge - one for arrival night and one for our last night - all confirmed via email prior to arrival As we headed to the restaurant for dinner ( about an hour after check in ) we were stopped outside the entrance by the same staff member telling us we had no reservations for either that night or our final night altho she did have a booking for the evening of our departure day - bearing in mind that our departure was 10 am for a noon flight why would we make a booking for ten hours after our departure - I wrote to the concierge / reception the same evening with screenshots of the bookings and received apologies the following morning from the Concierge stating that her colleague was ā confused ā I can understand losing or not seeing a reservation but how do you come up with a booking that never actually existed ?!?

An exquisite hotel which far exceeded our expectations (the website photos don't do it justice). It felt like an oasis of calm with beautiful seating areas around the grounds. We had a villa with private pool to share between 4 friends. It was spacious and quiet. Staff were all so welcoming and friendly. Breakfast was fantastic. We also had wonderful hamaam experience and enjoyed the daily yoga classes. The free minibus shuttle into Marrakech was perfect to pop in for a few hours in the day or evening. The evening restaurant food was the only let down as everything else was so fabulous we were expecting it to be excellent, but the ambience in the Moroccan restaurant, with music playing was lovely.

We had a duplex suite and it was lovely to have so much space. There was an espresso coffee machine and pods were topped up at no charge. A bottle of water was left daily, and in the gym you could top up water bottles. The beds were comfortable and pillows to suit everyone's preferences. The breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice and eggs cooked to order. We ate in both restaurants and although not large portions, the food was beautifully presented and tasty. The hotel is slightly out in the sticks with nowhere to go on foot but the complimentary shuttle bus into Marrakech is available a few times a day. A great hotel to relax in with 3 pools - one heated! Well kept grounds. We enjoyed the cinema room with a private viewing and popcorn was provided!! The staff could not have been more delightful and so welcoming.

The staff are absolutely fantastic, go out of their way to make you feel welcome and provide for your every need. We were travelling with our 6 month old baby and the hotel and staff were able to provide additional amenities that made the stay even easier for us. Would highly recommend to any traveller, we loved our stay.

Cons: Restaurant food was pretty bland in comparison to our food experiences in Marrakech, very limited menu choices. Lack of a small shop on site to buy water, drinks or snacks without needing to use a restaurant or mini bar prices would be expected in a hotel which is pretty isolated. 10% service charge on EVERYTHING ā¦ including a massage ā¦ surely the massage is the service without additional charge

We stayed in one of the villas with a nice private heated pool. Villa was large and clean, beds were very comfy. Breakfast was excellent, offering a variety of options and a made-to-order egg station. The only suggestion would be to replenish items more quickly when they run out.

During our stay we loved everything and every detail: beautiful , spacious suites; relaxed atmosphere and plenty of space throughout the hotel. Lot of tastefully decorated cosy corners, 3 outdoor swimming pools and it never felt crowded eventhough hotel was fully booked. The staff are friendly and helpful, nothing was too much to ask for. Food is really good in all 3 restaurants and reasonably priced. We enjoyed our Family massage at Spa , as well as private cinema experience . Hotel is located outside of the city , but only 25 mins ride away from the Medina / Hivernage areas . We liked being able to retreat to the tranquil area of the hotel after experiencing vibrant energy of Souk. The place is even more beautiful than on the pictures and we will definitely come back. Five stars!

Cons: Remote for spontanious wishes to visit town, but itās price for silence. Pool area soundtrack could shuffle, as you learn the songs 2nd day and not very chill choices.

An oasis of calm - 25 mins outside the medina but with a limited but effective shuttle service . Service is excellent better than some higher end hotels . Cats , birds and a yoga studio which was fabulous . If you want peace and tranquility to balance the frenetic city centre this is it. Four girls had a 2 bed villa and heated private pool . There is a heated pool in the main part too and was lovely and warm and very beautiful. International yoga teachers up to 3 times a day we did the 8/30 am slot every day going straight to breakfast which was excellent as well great start to the day for both experienced and non yogis Also had massages they were very good too

Perfect in every way! The staff, the accommodation, the food, the cleanliness was all spot on. The resort is about a 20 minute drive away from the city center but the free shuttle makes it easy to get to. The tranquility of this resort makes it extra special . If youāre looking for somewhere to completely unwind then this is it. The staff couldnāt do enough for us and nothing was too much trouble. The spa is wonderful, ee had a hot stone massage and deep tissue massage which left us both feeling amazing! We would highly recommend Tigmiza resort & spa and we will return.

The place was a little too far from the centre so we were stuck with eating at the hotel and the menu did not change.the hotel taxi only went into the centre once a day in the morning and collected early evening

I liked the fact that some of the staff appeared to be friendly. Although they would stare a lot which can be uncomfortable, some went out their way to provide a good service I.e concierge taking luggage and restaurant staff bringing food up to our room if requested. -Cleaners came twice a day and did a decent job -Pool outside looked good
Cons: -The location, was 20-30 mins from all the activities or restaurants we had booked -Missed our flight therefore arrived a day late, the hotel as a gesture a goodwill could have offered to just refund one night but they just gave us the credit instead -We were never told we had to book a shuttle in advance. Eventually they allowed us to use the shuttle but the driver was reluctant on taking us and this could be seen on his face, he was very cold -Providing only one bottle of complementary water between two adults is unacceptable. When you go to 5* hotels at least 4+ bottles are provided everyday. If we wanted more bottles, we had to pay approx Ā£8+ which is abusive considering the hot weather conditions. When we expressed to the staff and management, we were told that what they are doing is normal and the manager has worked in hospitality for over 14 years. Experience in hospitality has nothing to do with providing good service, at least 2 bottles shouldāve been provided as a gesture of goodwill especially considering they have allowed that for other guests (reading some of their responses to the negative reviews) -The shower was probably the worst issue which makes me want to give this a minus 1* rating. When we used our shower daily, the shower drain was so blocked it would flood our bathroom and room. We would have to use loads of towels to ensure our property doesnāt get damaged. When we called maintenance, I asked if this happened before and the guy chuckled and said yes it has meaning they are fully aware of the issue in the room and have refused to get it fixed. -Breakfast and lunch was not good. Lunch menu was limited, food was not reflective of a 5* hotel The shower pressure was so high that it would be the perfect pressure if you wanted to wash your car. Shuttles were only offered twice a day at 10am or 5:30pm. Most 5* offer more shuttle services more frequently, rather than fixed schedules. Meaning we had to spend a lot on taxi fares.

My wife and I recently stayed at he Tigmiza over Christmas this year and we could not fault it at all. The villa was excellent, clean and luxurious, well laid out with everything you could possibly need. The staff could have not been more helpful or polite, always on hand, the spa was really a wonderfully experience, we ate quite a few times in the room which was lovely, the food and restaurants were first class, we have nothing but good things to say about this hotel, definitely would recommend.

Fantastic breakfast included, excellent international restaurant, great pool bar/restaurant and fun traditional Moroccan dinner and evening. We enjoyed the hammam experience and massage in the spa, beginners yoga class in the dedicated studio and use of the small but well equipped gym. The upgrade to a villa was much appreciated. Spacious rooms and en suites, dining and dressing area. Good private outdoor space with covered terrace, loungers by the small pool (not heated)and balcony. The staff were welcoming and attentive throughout. We particularly appreciated the personalised touches such as the waiter remembering our morning drinks order and our villa attendant being so helpful and responsive.
Cons: A minor issue was the limited number of power points - would have liked one at the bedside for overnight phone charging.

We had a wonderfull week at the Tigmiza Boutique Resort! We are here for the 4rd time, and it gets better every year! This is mainly thanks to a very dedicated team. The service is very professional but at the same time the staff so friendly - simply you just feel in a better version of your home! So the typical day at Tigmiza would start with Marrakehās best Omlette from Chef Tariq and a tasty local pancake from Ghislaine. Then our super concierge - Lamia - would organize a trip to a hidden gem in the medina and reserve a fabulous rooftop. Back at the hotel we would have a snack at the pool bar professionally attended by Azzize&Aziz. Then we would get a traditional Hamman massage by skilled Hayat. We would finish the day with a magnificient dinner by Abdullah & Hamid, which always manage to surprise us with original events. We also thank Abdelrahim and his crew for taking care of the room and the luggage.

I am very sad to have to write a bad review for this property as the villa and hotel itself was spectacular. We asked for a late checkout on the day of departure. I checked online on booking.com and the room was still available. They refused to give us a late check out saying the room was not available. I explained that I could see the room online. Suddenly the room availability online suspiciously vanished, as I was on the phone to reception!!!. Any other 5 star hotel would facilitate this for a late checkout fee. I am extremely disappointed. Especially as we had two lunches, dinner and spa treatments.

The pool area was lovely, with three pools but only one heated. It was a relaxing place to spend the day. The staff were very friendly and changed bedding from feathers to synthetic on request. Rooms were serviced regularly and clean. Breakfast was extensive and we enjoyed the omelette station. The shuttle bus into town and back was useful.
Cons: Our room was a little dated and areas of the property looked tired and worn, in need of a refresh. The restaurants were disappointing - expensive and not as publicised in the photos, so we ate out regularly. The roof terrace bar was closed (during high season - October half term) and the furniture was dated and worn.

Hotel itself was nice, we had a villa, separate from the hotel, and the villa was big. Downstairs was a nice spacious lounge, plus loo and separate shower room. Upstairs was a spacious bedroom and bathroom with a nice verandah. Outside was a private garden and pool, with orange and pomegranate trees. The grounds and hotel were nice, and not overly busy. The staff were very pleasant.
Cons: Food in the restaurants was bland - which was dissappointing for Moroccan food! Pool bar restaurants served better food. Also, the hotel decided to close one of the restaurants, which meant that suddenly there wasn't actually enough seating for all the residents, which, bearing in mind the hotel is miles from the city, is not good. Was told at 7:30 they may be able to fit me in at 9 ! Complained, and lo and behold a table was found! Housekeeping was woeful and just didn't replace anything we'd used! Kept asking reception, who said they'd send housekeeping, and they most of the time didn't show. Or, they did bring some items but not the rest. This wasn't just once, it was every day! This really spoiled it, as this was supposed to be 5*.

We specifically chose this hotel for its spa, but the experience was far below our expectations. Some therapists seemed inexperienced, and the treatments lacked the expertise and relaxation we anticipated. Additionally, the spa staff wasnāt always friendly, making us feel unwelcome. We usually spend a lot on spa services, but after 2 or 3 treatments, we gave up and went to the city to find alternatives. Nevertheless itās fair to say that the rest of the hotel staff was very friendly and attentive, which made other aspects of our stay more enjoyable.

It was the absolute perfect destination for us, the staff in the hotel were all so friendly and welcoming, the hotel itself is truly beautiful with it's many areas to relax and enjoy and the villa we had was amazing! There are three insta worthy communal swimming pools and two restaurants. We chose to stay in a 1 bed villa with a pool, it was incredibly spacious and the Moroccan style decor was beautiful. The hotel puts on a free shuttle service to and from the city centre twice a day which was a bonus!

Cons: I didn't like the rooms at all. We had two suites and neither were particularly inviting. Thankfully they were just a place to sleep in as all we wanted to do was spend time round the pools. The main restaurant for dinner wasn't great, despite a live musician the layout doesn't lend itself to much atmosphere and the food was not particularly impressive.

Located 16 km (20 minutes) from Marrakesh, its distance from the city's noise and hustle was precisely why we chose it. A free shuttle runs several times a day to and from Marrakesh city center. The hotel has 28 rooms, and we chose a spacious suite of over 80 square meters, which we did not regret. Every staff member, from the cleaners to the waiters and receptionists, aims to provide the best possible holiday experience. The two kitchens prepare the finest local and international dishes of the highest quality. Everything here, from the wines to the meals, is relatively expensive. However, no compromises are made. The Spa area is particularly pricey, so we decided against using it. Even though children are welcome, this location is primarily chosen by those traveling without kids. Being far from the city, it might not appeal to young people. The breakfast is fantastic, offering a large selection of both international and Moroccan dishes. In the evening, restaurant Lallati features local entertainment that provides an enchanting 1001-night atmosphere. Additionally, the internet worked flawlessly throughout the hotel. The sunbeds were excellent, with thick mattresses and fresh towels. We highly recommend this hotel to adults willing to pay extra for quality.
Cons: In my opinion, the prices of drinks and food were a bit too expensive. We paid 10 Moroccan dirhams for a cola at a restaurant in the city while they cost 40 in the minibar at the hotel.

Tigmiza hotel is absolutely beautiful. There are three pools, two restaurants and a pool restaurant bar. The staff at Tigmiza are super helpful and friendly. Our room was serviced twice a day and at the end of the day they would leave cookies and slippers by your bed side! Very clean hotel, food is delicious and there is plenty to explore and do. The hotel offer airport pick up at a reasonable cost as well as free shuttle bus into the city centre twice a day.

An oasis of calm and relaxation, we loved every second of our stay. Nothing is too much trouble and the room - Le Brute - was a haven. The food was good, Chef super-accommodating when asked for something not on the menu and the staff were attentive, but not obtrusive. Everything you could want from a R&R break.
Cons: If we were being uber-picky, the sunbeds were a little hard and may have benefitted from a mattress cover and the menu was slightly limited, but what we did eat was good.

We loved everything about our stay, the property is so luxurious and thoughtfully designed right down to the last detail. Itās far enough away from the hustle and bustle of the centre of Marrakesh but only a short taxi or shuttle bus if you want to explore there. We loved our room, we had a 2-bed villa which had a beautiful pool and terrace area. Everything is clean, well maintained and faultless. I wish we had been able to stay for longer! Also the staff are incredible, very helpful and knowledgable. Highly recommend to anybody!

We visited for our honeymoon and our stay was perfect! The team were fantastic and we even got a wonderful upgrade which was such a lovely surprise! All pools/ restaurants/ facilities were perfect!
Cons: The location of the venue is not surrounded by any amenities so ensure you have everything you may need. The hotel do however offer 2 free shuttles a day into Marrakech in case you do need to go to the shops!

The Hotel was an overall great experience in Marrakech. We had chosen this hotel as the last part of our Marrakech vacation to recover and relax before flying back home. The food, gardens and pools were great and came with a spacious room. The Staff is very friendly and we can definitely recommend this hotel to relax. Please note that this hotel is a bit outside in Marrakech but offers shuttles if you want to go to the city.
Cons: Even though the staff was friendly. We had some trouble with booking a transfer as the person responsible for their messages didn't reply several days and on the morning of arrival wrote that he is not responsible and we should send an email to another address which was far too late. I would have expected more from the hotel as this was our first impression of the hotel. Our room was spacious but also in need of repairs as the wall has huge cracks. For us personally, we didn't like the room theme of "English" as it looked for us very oldish and not that attractive to rest. Other rooms seem to be looking much better and modern. Another missing addition would be a curtain or something in the bathroom as people can see in our bathroom from the outside path in the hotel.

Very dirty hotel, not suitable for kids, very rude staff ( they told me that all the villas have cockroaches because the hotel is a farmš¤®) The worst is that they are liars and scammers as they promised to refund me because the next day we left but now they do not answer my emails and they do not approve the refund. Wonderful hotel, excellent facilities, restaurants and decor. The majority of the staff were fantastic. However, I was ripped off by a receptionist who charged me ā¬300 for a 1-way private taxi to Taghazout. The return to Marrakesh was ā¬100, same private taxi. Completely unjustified to charge so much and was a real shame. You're a 5* hotel and in the hospitality industry, not in a souk trying to fleece an unassuming tourist.
Cons: Gym was a little dated but still managed to use it a few times. Spa was incredible.

The hotel looks absolutely stunning and boutique-y, great facilities and the private pool is a great perk (albeit a bit cold). We stayed in a villa and the size is very generous. The bars, restaurants and atmosphere were spot on. Incredible swimming pools, particularly the heated one. The food was pretty good and we enjoyed the hot counter in the breakfast bar. The eggs particularly nice. For the most part the staff were good. We had amazing room service. You've got to try the Hammam and massage. The hotel didn't feel busy at all.
Cons: Our room had a subtle toilet smell. We raised it at least three times before they did something about it. Eventually we asked for an air freshener. There is a really convenient free shuttle bus, however the trips are few and far between. It doesn't give you freedom to leave the hotel (two trips each way). We had to pay for a few taxis, which we thought it was weird and at a higher rate than we got in a street. Food menus weren't very varied. Some staff didn't have great English, which caused a bit of confusion at times. These are minor issues but inconvenient nonetheless and hope they help improve the already amazing experience.

Beautiful hotel, gorgeous gardens and pool area. Loved that it is Boutique so not crammed full of people. I would recommend staying in this peaceful resort over a Riad in Marrakech any day!
Cons: Just little things that Iām only saying because we are used to 5* resorts - they in no way would put me off going back to Tigmiza. 1. The gym is just a small space with three pieces of equipment - totally fine but I booked the hotel needing a gym and I couldnt go as it held about 4 people and was always busy. 2. Comfier sunloungers are needed 3. Also think the bar staff should visit people around the pool to take orders more often. Again, v little things but just flagging these

Breakfast was great, lots of options and an amazing omelette chef. The pools were beautiful (all be it a bit cold) but the weather was hot so we were lucky. Staff were friendly and accommodating.
Cons: Pool bar wasnāt open at the pool with the swim up bar and there was no explanation for this. If it is on pictures, it should be a service offered. Roof top terrace also didnāt have the bar open or any music.

Cons: We had booked a villa. The size was stated with 150sqm. The true size was most likely around 80-90sqm. The rooms are old and run down. We insisted the mattresses to be changed. The pool in the villa was not heated. All in all given distance of the hotel to the city, the state of the hotel - for over 500 euro per night I should have stayed at La Mamounia in a regular room.

The staff get first mention. They are wonderful! Can not do enough for you and itās genuine. We canāt thank them all enough for looking after us during our stay. 3 stunning pools, one of which is heated. Lush gardens surround the hotel. Huge rooms and comfy beds. The design and art of the hotel is beautiful. Excellent breakfast buffet. A big shout out to Assiraj and his cocktails! Best espresso martini Iāve ever had :)
