Todo me ha gustado. La habitación muy limpia y bonita. El baño limpio y equipado. Pagamos un hammam para dos aparte (45€) que nos gustó mucho también.
Cons: Por poner un pero diría que en la habitación se oían los motores de los aires acondicionados y era un poco molesto. También, pagamos aparte del hammam, dos masajes de 30 minutos, y mi masajista no fue muy cuidadosa. Me hizo daño. Daba la sensación de ir con prisa. Todo el rato cambiaba la canción del móvil. Me estresó más que relajarme.

L’équipe Asna, Ali et tous les autres étaient au soins sur TOUT !!! Étant hôtelier moi-même et difficile de nature, je recommande fortement le Riad Viva, allez-y les yeux fermés ! Ne vous fiez surtout pas aux autres commentaires d’avant, voyez par vous-même ! Beaucoup de personnes de mauvaise foie qu’ils laissent de mauvais commentaires, c’est vraiment injuste !!! Ali es una gran persona, nos ayudó en todo lo que necesitábamos, es una persona muy amena y buena. Nos ayudó incluso a encontrar un Taxi para la vuelta. El desayuno es espectacular.. riquísimo y muy abundante. El té de bienvenida es muy especial , e incluso han tenido el detalle de poner el aire acondicionado con este frío, para que al llegar, la habitación estuviera calentita. La habitación que nos tocó, fue muy especial y maravillosa, volveremos! CH3

Cons: Booked for 3 nights but only stayed 1. Shower disintegrated on the first night of use meaning we couldn’t shower. Highlighted shower to reception at this time but no other options offered at this time. Poor cleanliness standards, used contact lens ( not ours) left by someone else in vanity unit. Light switches grubby, stained bed linen and bath towel, burns on bedroom blanket. Uncomfortable bed, hard ridge in middle, slopes to edges. Had previously requested upstairs room in original booking but request not responded to and on arrival was given downstairs room. No immediate filtered water offered in rooms which would have been nice as we couldn’t drink the tap water. Heating facilities in rooms but very cold in communal areas. Felt so uncomfortable we left on morning of day 2.

Cons: Très mauvaise expérience dans ce riad. Dès notre arrivée, nous avons été changés de chambre. Dans cette nouvelle chambre, il n’y avait ni chauffage ni eau chaude. On nous a demandé d’attendre 10 minutes pour l’eau chaude, mais après plus de 2 heures d’attente, j’ai finalement pu me doucher à l’eau à peine tiède, en plein mois de janvier. Il n’y avait pas de sèche-cheveux, et la propreté laissait clairement à désirer : traces sur les draps, sur le miroir, dans les toilettes, etc. Les serviettes de douche n’ont jamais été changées pendant 4 jours, malgré notre séjour. Le petit-déjeuner est très basique, loin de ce qui est attendu pour ce type d’établissement. Le personnel n’est pas courtois et, au lieu de reconnaître les nombreux problèmes du riad, ils ont clairement estimé que le problème venait de moi et non de leur établissement. Concernant la restauration, payer 15 € par personne pour un tajine accompagné uniquement de clémentines est excessif, surtout au vu de la qualité globale du service. Le pire reste la fin : j’ai dû annuler une chambre 3 jours avant, suite à un retour plus tôt que prévu. Avant d’annuler, j’ai bien vérifié qu’il n’y aurait aucun frais. Pourtant, on m’a ensuite demandé de payer 66 € pour une nuit où je ne séjournais pas, à régler directement à la réception. Après réclamation auprès de Booking, on m’a conseillé de voir avec le riad pour une “exception”. Leur réponse a été choquante : on m’a dit que j’étais “un problème” et que si je ne payais pas, j’aurais “de très gros problèmes”. Un comportement inadmissible, un manque total de professionnalisme et un service très loin de ce qui est annoncé. Je ne recommande absolument pas ce riad.

Nous avons été très déçu du riad on ne peut plus faire confiance aux avis donnés sur booking. Le chauffage de la salle de bains était en panne la télé aussi il faisait froid dans la salle du petit déjeuner le linge de lit et de toilette n étaient pas nets. Le petit déjeuner très décevant les produits proposés étaient à peine réchauffés le matin car préparés de la veille. Le personnel bien que serviables n était pas très présents. Riad que nous ne recommandons pas

This Riad is tucked away and very quiet. It has lovely surroundings and areas for you to relax in. The roof top is especially nice. The staff are friendly. The room was spacious. We appreciated the ability to leave our luggage there on the last day as we had a late flight.

La proximité de la médina, la terrasse et la vue sur le jardin de la Mamounia qui rend l’environnement paisible et beau. J’ai déjeuné 1 fois sur place et le tajine légumes était absolument délicieux , bien meilleur que plusieurs restaurants faits dans Marrakech
Cons: Nous n’avions pas le chauffage mis en marche à notre arrivée et étant fin décembre il faisait très froid. Et il faut savoir que lorsque vous mettez la Clim réversible en mode chauffage il faut demander 30 degrés sinon ça ne chauffe pas et comme j’avais demandé (comme à la maison) 20° nous avons eu super froid toute la 1ère nuit et il y avait 15° dans la chambre. Le lendemain matin on m’a expliqué le fonctionnement mais malheureusement pas le soir même

Cons: Qu de fausses notes dans ce riad à la gestion sous délégués voir absente... Suite à une erreur à la réservation j'ai dû ajouter une personne dans la suite réservé, suite prévu pour 3 personnes maximum. Or l'hôtel m'a chargé d'un supplément de 30euros (15€/j) pour l'ajout d'une personne, étant tro alors que le tarif de la chambre comprenait déjà une petit déjeuner pour 2 et un couchage pour 2, c'est d'ailleurs précisé sur le site de l'hôtel que toute comprend automatiquement une occupation double, donc seul les taxes de séjours /pp/j aurait dû être exiger pour la personne en plus, au lieu de ça j'ai eu le droit à un supplément arbitraire et malhonnête sans aucune justification de politique tarifaire de l'établissement. Le petit déjeuner composé d'un jus d'orange et gâteau industriel, quelle honte dans la ville des oranges fraîches et du pays des m'semen... Quand nous nous sommes réveillés 15min trop tard le second jour on nous a dit que c'était fermé on aurait au moins pu nous dépanner d'une café et d'un sachet de leur biscuit sachant qu'aucune préparation n'était apparemment requis pour ce petit déjeuner bas de gammes. L'hôtel n'a pas de clef et un personnel est sensé veiller la nuit, un soir ou j'étais rentre vers minuit aucun personnel n'a répondu et je me suis retrouvé coincer dehors, j'ai dû réveiller par téléphone mon ami qui dormait pour venir m'ouvrir. Nous avons également ouvert à des clients qui devait faire leur check in et on sonné plusieurs fois avant qu'on les entende, le personnel n'est arrivé qu'une trentaine de minutes après.. Enfin le hamam était froid voir à peine tiède pour 85€ la séance à 2, quel dommage.

Cons: Breakfast was poor, only had coffee, no fruit juice or water, and very basic which was a shame after other Riad’s we had stayed in. Some seemed to be done day before and microwaved which spoiled it Also had Dinner and again would not recommend it for the cost.better value in the centre of Marrakech.

Ci siamo tornati per la seconda volta e come sempre ci siamo trovati benissimo in questo hotel, personale sempre disponibile e super gentile. Torneremo qua sicuramente anche l'anno prossimo. Posizione perfetta a 10 minuti dalla piazza e la loro cucina é veramente ottima. Abbiamo un bambino di 8 mesi ed erano sempre disponibili anche a preparargli la pappa ad ogni ora. Hanno un servizio impeccabile. Consiglio tantissimo questo hotel! Siamo stati veramente ma veramente contenti. Top!!!

The riad was beautiful. The staff was also very nice. Everything was very clean. The area seems to be safe, and I walked around the area at night alone.
Cons: They asked me to pay in cash upon arrival which I was not prepared for. I asked to pay with card and the machine wasn’t working and they said I could pay later after going to an atm. In my situation, I wasn’t able to get cash from the atm at that time. It worked out because the card machine works the next morning, but I think if they want payment in cash that should’ve been listed somewhere before arrival (and maybe it is and I just missed it).

Cons: Appena arrivati nel riad scopriamo che non risultava la nostra prenotazione pur avendo scambiato messaggi fino al giorno prima con la struttura per capire se c’era la possibilità di depositare i bagagli prima del check in. Dopo un’ora e mezza persa per capire il da farsi abbiamo deciso di uscire dal riad per provare a goderci la vacanza avendo già perso tempo inutilmente in attesa di una risposta. Al rientro in struttura, ci è stato detto che avevano risolto trovandoci una stanza per noi, seppur il Riad fosse pieno, ma che avremmo dovuto pagare il soggiorno esclusivamente in contanti dato che avevano dovuto trovare un’altra struttura per la persona a cui avevano tolto la stanza per darla a noi. Una volta fatto presente che non avevamo in quel momento tutti i contanti richiesti, non avendo previsto questa assurda richiesta, abbiamo lasciato un acconto pretendendo una ricevuta (che dopo insistenza ci è stata scritta a mano) per poi saldare l’importo restante l’indomani una volta prelevato il denaro. Questa situazione ci ha creato un gran disagio nonché malumore rispetto ad una vacanza tanto attesa in una città rivelatasi comunque meravigliosa

La ubicación perfecta y muy segura, al llegar nos recibieron con un té de bienvenida muy bueno, las instalaciones estaban muy bien y bonitas. Al irnos pudimos dejar las maletas hasta la hora de irnos al vuelo y nos volvieron a dar un té de despedida. El personal muy agradable.

Très bon accueil sur place, chambre de charme, très propre.
Cons: Gros, gros bémol, l'hôtel fait appel à un intermédiaire (dénommée Zohra), qui n'a absolument pas pris compte de nos demandes, à savoir l'envoi d'un taxi à notre arrivée à l'aéroport et un repas sur place pour le soir de notre arrivée, et ce malgré plusieurs confirmations au préalable de sa part. Le comble, c'est que cette personne mer tout cela sur le dos d'un dysfonctionnement de booking alors que nous l'avons eue en direct à plusieurs reprises, pas plus tard que la veille de notre arrivée. Nous conseillons donc à l'hôtel de changer d'intermédiaire pour éviter les forts désagréments que nous avons vécu.

Das Riad ist wunderschön angelegt und das Personal ist freundlich und zuvorkommend. Wir haben im Riad eine Tour gebucht, das hat super funktioniert und auch der Fahrer war sehr nett. Das Zimmer ist ausreichend groß und wird jeden Tag gereinigt. Auch die Dachterrasse ist wunderschön. Wir haben im Riad auch eine Massage mit Hammam gebucht, das war sehr erholsam und entspannend.
Cons: Eigentlich gibt es nichts negatives zu sagen. Das Wasser in der Dusche könnte etwas besser ablaufen und es ist etwas hellhörig, aber auch das hat uns kaum gestört.

Every single thing about Riad Viva was exceptional. It is a beautiful Riad located down the back alley/streets with an incredible roof terrace overlooking the Mamounia Hotel's grounds. This is a wonderful place to sit at the end of every day. The Riad is about a 15 minute walk to the main square at Jemaa el-Fna. The rooms we had were all extremely spacious, spotlessly clean with wonderful decor. Breakfast was delicious, as was the evening meal of tagine that we had on the day of our arrival. But best of all, were the staff. Ali who met us on our arrival was simply magnificent. So genuinely kind and helpful, and generous with his time. This Riad is quite simply a wonderful place to stay, but made really special by Ali and the others that look after you so well.

The Riad is very beautiful and comfortable. There is the swimming pool and a good lighting. The bathroom was nice and there was hairdryer. Breakfast was good, a bit small. The staff was ok. You can have massages and dinner, but it is to book before in the morning at max. The room was comfortable and clean, there is ac and tv.
Cons: It's located at the end of an alley and it's a bit difficult to find it. Google maps doesn't locate it very well and children would block your way to the Riad, and would insist for money. They would also talk to the reception and insist, even though we gave them some snacks as we didn't have cash. So it made the stay a bit stressful. I hope the staff can do more about this. About the room, a bad thing is that at a certain point there would be bad smell from the toilet.

Ce Riad est magnifique et il est très bien situé . Il est au calme alors qu'à seulement quelques mètres de là c'est l'effervescence dans le cœur de la ville de Marrakech. Les chambres sont spacieuses, agréables, confortables. Le PDJ est très bon et copieux.
Cons: Je pense que l'accueil des clients peut nettement être amélioré. au niveau du check-in Il suffirait d'un peu de formation car la gentillesse et le désir du personnel de bien faire est là. Il faudrait aussi que booking précise bien dans la résa qe la législation Marocaine interdit de boire de l'alcool dans les Riads ( un bon repas à l'eau c'est dommage)

We were only here on our last night for one day to rest but the room was really nice and super comfortable bed. We sat on the roof where they had some loungers and a small pool to relax in. The host kindly sorted us with a taxi to the airport for a really good price at 6am which we would have found difficult on our own.

Nous avons apprécié la vue de la terrasse sur les jardins d un grand hôtel. Le personnel est très sympathique et le service est parfait. On a apprécié le thé offert à notre arrivée. Le petit déjeuner est copieux et les horaires des repas sont extensibles on peut choisir son horaire. Le 1er soir on a pris le repas c était copieux également. Service de dépôt de bagages que nous n avons pas utilisé mais c est appréciable. Bien situé, proche de la place Jemaa El fna.
Cons: La salle de bain est vétuste, chambre située au RDC avec trace de moisissure et pas de fenêtre sur extérieur ni de la chambre ni de la SDB.

Très bon accueil de la part de l'équipe du Riad Viva. Le lieu est propre, confortable et bien placé à 15/20 minutes à pied de la place Jemma. Je n'ai pas profité de la piscine mais celle-ci est propre et la terrasse très agréable. J'ai également profité d'un soin hammam, gommage et massage, proposé au riad à un tarif très intéressant. La jeune femme qui m'a prodigué les soins était très professionnelle, douce et adorable. Je reviendrai sans hésiter au Riad Viva lors de mon prochain séjour à Marrakech. Je recommande +++

La beauté et l'authenticité du riad, son calme malgré la situation centrale. Maria et Aly sont très discrets, toujours à l'écoute, souriants et disponibles. La réception reste ouverte 24h/24h. La terrasse avec la piscine, très appréciable pendant notre séjour au vu des fortes chaleurs. Et bien sûr la situation, on peut tout faire à pied. LA Medina n'est qu'à 10 mn à pied. Je recommande.

Die Einrichtung ist äußerst geschmackvoll und stilvoll – für uns war das Riad eine wahre Oase der Ruhe mitten in der lebendigen Medina. Das gesamte Team war durchweg freundlich, aufmerksam und stets hilfsbereit. An unserem Abreisetag konnten wir vor der Abreise noch zwei sehr angenehme, über das Hotel organisierte Massagen genießen, was den Aufenthalt perfekt abgerundet hat. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt!

Je voulais remercier tous pour cette belle hospitalité, je me suis senti en famille. C'est à 10 minutes de la place Jemma après la mosquée. Le soir je rentre avec ma fille l'endroit est très sécurisé les ruelles avec lumière la nuit vous font penser que vous êtes des vrais marocains, et ont rentre chez soi. Le soir un petit tour à la piscine pour se rafraîchir et décontractée. L'échange les belles conversations avec eux, je devais imprimer mes billets d'avion et ils ont fait bouger tout le quartier pour m'aider, mon vol partez le soir il mon laisser reste a la piscine jusqu'à prendre mon vol. J'ai eu le droit de me reposer avec la tranquillité qu'on retrouve au Riad Viva. Je pense déjà à mon retour chez vous. Merci 💕

L’acceuil et la bienveillance des équipes mais surtout d’Ali, le veilleur de nuit, qui a été courtois et serviable. Le petit déjeuner était correct.
Cons: La réalité est très éloignée des photos publiées sur Booking. En effet, la terrasse est mal entretenue : par exemple sur les 2 parasols, un est inutilisable et le second fonctionne mais a une tige brisée, ce qui n’est pas pratique pour se baigner à l’ombre lorsqu'il fait une chaleur extrême (45°C). Autre point important, la propreté était un véritable problème : odeur désagréable dans la salle de bain (notamment une forte odeur d’urine autour du WC / obligé de demander des serviettes supplémentaires pour les mettre au sol). Nous sommes restés une semaine et nos draps n’ont pas été changés une seule fois (sans compter les tâches déjà présentes dessus à notre arrivée). Il faut demander du papier toilette car on ne vous en met pas systématiquement après le "ménage", pas de serviettes pour s’essuyer les mains, traces multiples sur le sol de la chambre… Très décevant dans l’ensemble. C’est dommage, car cela reste un très beau bâtiment mais avec un meilleur entretien et une meilleure propreté, l’expérience pourrait être au rendez-vous.

Très beau riad , magnifiquement décoré. Lieu apaisant, protégé de l'agitation de la place Jemaa el Fna. La chambre est spacieuse, équipée et décorée avec goût et simplicité. Le personnel a été à notre écoute et a su répondre à nos demandes (taxi, piscine etc) . Bref un accueil de qualité dans un cadre traditionnel Marocain très agréable. La ruelle menant au riad longue et étroite peut inquiéter lorsqu'on débarque de l'aéroport. Mais c'est tout à fait sécure et cela permet de croiser les habitants ainsi que des enfants qui jouent dans la rue et qui nous saluent chaleureusement ! Le soir la ruelle est éclairée.

Riad Proche du centre de Marrakech et de la place jemaa El-Fna, et pourtant très calme. Il ne se situe pas dans les beaux quartiers de Marrakech mais il est au cœur de la culture marocaine. Tout le monde n'apprécierait peut-être pas ! Tout dépend de ce que l'on recherche. Pour ma part, je ne concevais pas mon séjour autrement.
Cons: Peut être le manque d'entretien de la petite piscine en roof top ! Mais ce n'est qu'un détail. Elle ne nous a pas beaucoup servi !

Cons: I do need to say that communication is bad! Taxi ordered for pick up! I have the text on your app between hotel and me! Dinner ordered because long journey and didn’t want to be wandering before I got my bearings in the morning! Was even told what I was having for dinner! Suffice it to say no taxi and no dinner! There appeared to be skeleton staff there as it was a national holiday! I am seasoned traveller so these things were overcome but at 72 I did not expect to do so!!?

They forced me to pay them 20 dirhams to ‘keep the car safe’ for 2 hours on a public parking in front of King’s palace and upon return they asked for more money and started threatening me, I didn’t feel safe until end of the stay there. Go there without a car as there is no appropriate parking provided Marrakech: max 2 nights in Marrakech is fine, chaotic, pretty but high criminality. Visit the suks, do your shopping, eat some good food and feel free to spend rest of your holiday in some other beautiful parts of Morocco

Esta foi a terceira vez que escolhi o Riad Viva e continua a ser absolutamente fabuloso. A localização é excelente, permitindo viver a essência de Marraquexe com tranquilidade. Abbiamo dormito una notte nella stanza deluxe e una notte nella stanza superior: entrambe molto carine in stile tipico marrocchino e dotate di cassaforte(la deluxe un po' più spaziosa). Abbiamo anche cenato presso il Riad (costro extra) provando la tagine di pesce e quella di pollo, entrambe buone. Il Riad è situato in una vietta molto tranquilla (solo pedonale) a circa 10min a piedi da tutti i punti di interesse della città.

Un grazie speciale a Omar che ci ha preparato la colazione ogni mattina, Marianne sempre disponibile e Amine che ci ha portato in mattinata presto fino al taxi. Buon rapporto qualità prezzo. Colazione servita al momento ogni mattina. Spazio in terrazza dove si può prendere il sole, bere il tè, insomma rilassamento dopo tanta camminata. C'è anche una piccola zona acqua per rinfrescarsi. La chambre était confortable, propre et joliment décorée, fidèle aux photos. Mention spéciale pour les petits déjeuners : copieux, variés et délicieux, un vrai régal chaque matin ! Le riad est également idéalement situé, ce qui facilite les déplacements à pied dans Marrakech. En un mot : un excellent riad, que nous recommandons vivement !

Le massage pas terrible du tout non plus, la masseuse a terminé par me gratter la tête pendant 10 min tel un chat mais pas version massage de ma tête alors qu'elle est allée très vite sur le reste du corps. Es hat geregnet und war kühl.

The communication for arranging to collect us from and take us to the airport was fantastic, and it made us feel very safe. Our luggage was portered from where the taxi dropped us to the Riad, so we didn't have to try to work out how to find it through all the alleys. We also booked a meal for the first night because we wanted to 'find our feet' before trying to order food there and it was nice to have that safety net. The location was fantastic, hardly any walk at all to the Medina, and really not very far to the Souks. The staff were super attentive, they really go above and beyond. They even offered to do us breakfast at 5am because we were going on a balloon trip which we didn't take them up on, but we were astounded at how obliging they were. If you want or need coddled and pampered, these guys will do it . The breakfasts were nice and the coffee outstanding. If you want 'british' tea I'd suggest taking a teabag. The public areas were all quite beautifull and when we arrived they switched on the fountain and gave us mint tea. A couple of times we requested coffee during the day and it arrived promptly. The roof area was lovely, with plenty of seats and tables to relax, lovely views and birds singing, total bliss. Breakfasts were a selection of breads, crumpets or pancakes and jam or honey served to your table, with sometimes some fruit. Coffee, fruit juice, and also a rather lovely little omelette. We never left feeling hungry. It was more than ample
Cons: The room was a little more shabby than we expected. The entrance and main square in the middle of the riad are so lovely, so the room was a bit of a disappointment compared to them. We were on the ground floor and it could be quite noisy with people coming and going. The bed was super comfy and huge, although it did have a bit of a bulge down the middle, but there was so much space it made no difference to us really. There were very few coathangers so we had to ask for more, but we just needed to ask. It could have done with another mirror that didn't have a sink in front of it, I struggled to put my contact lenses in, not having a close up mirror. The WIFI on the roof area was a bit iffy

We thought the property was very nice, The too terrace was lovely to relax. The staff very friendly and helpful
Cons: Mattress’s we’re a little hard for our old bones. The only thing we thought could be improved was breakfast. We would have liked maybe yoghurts and a choice of fruits. But that was the only thing we thought could have been improved. Some of our party of 6 struggled to use the tv’s. Myriam and Omar were lovely.

This is a beautiful riad with comfortable rooms and stunning common areas. It has a rooftop pool (which is more than a plunge pool) and entertainment areas. It overlooks La Mamounia Gardens. We did not avail of the spa or dining room, but as we had an early flight, the riad provided us with a packed breakfast. The airport is very easily accesible from this medina.
Cons: It is a 5 minute walk to the main roads from the riad, with little available on the way. Being on the outskirts of the Medina it's a fair distance from the sights of Marrakech and there is a lot more car traffic than more centrally located places. Payment was cash only as our bill was under 100 euro. This was not clear on booking.

L'emplacement est calme mais pas forcément pratique pour les activités à faire en dehors du Riad. Le personnel est adorable et serviable. Les équipements sont à revoir dans les chambres, un moyen de se faire chauffer de l'eau pour prendre un thé de retour d'un longue journée serait appréciable. Un micro onde à disposition de la collectivité également.
Cons: La ville est bruyante, dangereuse et pas particulièrement propre. Quelques musées fermés cause du séisme de septembre 2023. Trops de chats errants et beaucoup trop trop trop de 2 roues dont l'évitement est quasi miraculeux sur un séjour d'une semaine. Le voyage de retour a été un enfer, 1H40 de retard sur le vol, manifestement sacrifié.

Das Riad war eine ganz besondere Erfahrung, die ich auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen kann. Es bewohnen nur recht wenig Gäste gemeinsam ein Riad. Dementsprechend leise und ruhig ist es im Haus die ganze Zeit über. Das Frühstück wurde für alle Gäste direkt und frisch zubereitet. Es ist kein typisches Buffet, welches man aus Hotels kennt. Dennoch war das Frühstück sehr reichhaltig und absolut ausreichend. Die Frau an der Rezeption, die im Prinzip alles managed im Haus, ist ebenfalls sehr freundlich. Leider mussten wir bei unserer Ankunft direkt das Riad für 2 Nächte wechseln, da der Strom ausgefallen war aber die Organisation und Unterbringung ins Partner-Riad verlief problemlos. Es wurde uns ebenfalls als Entschädigung ein Taxi-Fahrer zur Verfügung gestellt, für unsere Abreise die sehr früh morgens stattfand. Alles war perfekt organisiert und pünktlich. Unser Zimmer selber war für 2 Personen ausreichend groß. Das Bett war bequem, es gab sogar eine kleine Couch. Der Zimmerservice war jeden Tag da. Alles war sauber. Das Riad hatte einen wunderschönen Innenhof mit Brunnen und auf dem Dach gab es Liegen und Tische, an dem man die Nachmittagssonne in Ruhe genießen konnte. Was ich zudem auch als sehr positiv sehe ist, dass die Gäste nie selbstständig durch die Eingangstür rein können, sondern dass man immer klingeln muss. Es ist vom Personal auch zu jeder Zeit jemand da um die Haupttür zu öffnen. Das erlaubt den Mitarbeitern eine effektive Kontrolle wer ins Haus reinkommen kann. Ich habe mich bei meinem Aufenthalt sicher gefühlt. Eines meiner Highlights war auf jeden Fall der marrokanische Minz-Tee, den es direkt zur Ankunft gab und auch immer auf Nachfrage.
Cons: Im Prinzip sind es wirklich nur Kleinigkeiten, wie z.Bsp. das die Badezimmertür in unserem Zimmer falsch herum eingebaut war und man von innen nicht abschließen konnte. Wir waren zu zweit in einem Zimmer. Die Tür hat so kleine "offene" Elemente... man hört also etwas zu genau wenn der andere gerade auf Klo ist ^^ Wir hatten uns zudem eine Partner-Massage über das Riad buchen lassen. Die Masseure kamen von außerhalb und waren leider während der Massage unproffessionell. Da wurden SMS beantworten, das Telefon klingelte und der Anruf wurde sogar angenommen. Zwischendrin hat eine der Masseusinnen sich vor Lachen fast nicht mehr eingekriegt. Das war irgendwie ein unschönes Gefühl. Aber das Riad kann dafrür nichts. Kamen die zwei jungen Damen von außerhalb. Evtl. könnte man bei der Auswahl der Masseure genauer hinsehen.

Cons: Je n’ai pas apprécié le manque de propreté et d’amabilité du personnel. Le prix pour la prestation qui n’était pas à la hauteur. Le Riad est mal insonorisé. La chambre était sale à l’arrivée et rien n’a été fait pour changer cela ! Pire la personne de l’accueil m’a invité à partir si je n’étais pas satisfaite ou à me plaindre à la direction le lendemain matin (pratique avec une arrivée de nuit)! Le Riad est situé dans une rue exiguë et en travaux pour ne pas dire en chantier.

This riad is the kind that Colin Bosworth here in Marrakech would describe as a design classic. It has to be one of the most beautiful homes I’ve ever been to. The staff here are very friendly, charming and professional. Just amazing. I definitely plan to return here in the future.

This was our very first accommodation in Morocco that we had booked just for one night since we planned to move to another Riad the next morning. The only staff- a young man who spoke very little English- greeted us with smiles and offered delicious refreshing tea during the check-in process. The riad has beautiful tilework and woodwork. I loved the doors! When I shared that the soft bed in the room could hurt my back. the young man promptly took us to the basement to offer us options and found something for me, in case I needed it. That was very helpful although I did not need it.
Cons: AVOID THIS WEIRD PLACE! 1. We arrived late at night and this riad was very difficult to find. We had no idea we'd have to drag our bags for so long through the tight, dark alleys of the medina. 2. We were promised dinner upon arrival but the staff had no clue about our dinner. That was quite unprofessional! We managed with what we had instead of ordering food. 3. The staff did not speak English (unlike the other Riads and Hotels in Morocco). He started asking for cash payment the same night. We said we'd pay in the morning at the time of checking out. We knew we'd need cash for payments while in Morocco but did not expect to pay for our stays in cash. That just means buying a lot of Dirahms! So in the morning, while checking out, we insisted that we pay by card or asked him to charge our card on file. He had no clue about anything we said and insisted back that we give him whatever Euros we have. Then he called (or pretended to call) someone and then tried to use the card machine on the counter. He had no idea how to operate it and when we fiddled with it, we found that it was not set up for card payments. So we ended up paying him in Euros and lost all our Euros there, against our will. That this place was cash-only payment should have been shared with us upfront so that we could bring enough cash from the Airport. It seems like the booking staff is totally disconnected from the operations staff. 4. We received apologies on Whatsapp from the booking staff about dinner and payment. She started charging our card after we had paid in cash and said she would refund our cash. That was so inappropriate! We asked her to not charge our card as that would be a double payment. 5. The staff helped us to the cab but made us pay double of what we would have normally paid. 6. The sheets and towels were not very clean and had holes. Were very very old! 7. The door to our room had no latch but we found a workaround. Very unprofessional people.

The staff, Omar and Miriam, were soo nice. Both were very responsive and any and every request we had, was looked after with the greatest courtesy and care. Their hospitality simply won over my family and I. The facility was very peaceful and extremely comfortable.
Cons: Nothing really other than the little inconvenience of large luggages needing to be ported through the lane ways as cars can't reach the doorstep.

Cons: nothing really but it was a little scary walking there at night through all the narrow laneways. It might be a little frightening but the reality was that it was very safe despite appearances. That is a cultural difference I guess. I have nothing negative to say, this was about my perspective and not the reality if the this beauful place.

Absolutely beautiful Riad. The room was lovely, modern and comfortable, with a very nice bathroom and hot shower. Delicious breakfast. Location was good, walking distance to the Medina (15 minutes roughly) and in a quiet area. Easy and affordable transport to and from the airport which the Riad arranged for us.

When you arrive you think the area could be a little sketchy - but it really is not. Even after dark. And as soon as you buy something from the little shop in the alley, you have a friend for life I am sure. The area is about 10 minutes walk from the hussle and bustle but it is great to be able to come back to peace and quiet and chill on the rooftop. The place is absolutely gorgeous and the staff are helpful and friendly. Breakfast is more than adequate. Some savoury (like an egg) would be nice.
Cons: We had 2 sofa beds and a real bed. I slept in the real bed and it was not comfortable. The sofa beds were great so I couldnt get anyone in my party of 3 to change. The real bed was old and a little lumpy and the pillows were either too hard or too soft. Although that really is fully subjective. Despite sleeping badly, I really would come back. The whole place is just great! :)

Le petit déjeuner était très limite. Car le chocolat chaud était servi froid. Pas de fruit, pas de viennoiseries, le jus d’oranges n’était même pas pressé alors que partout dans la rue vous ne voyais que des fruits frais. La chambre sans fenêtre sentait un peu les égouts, il faisait froid dans la salle de bain car pas de chauffage. Et nous avons attendu un soir devant la porte car le monsieur qui était censé ouvrir quand nous arrivions le soir n’avait pas les clés. Nous avons attendu plus d’une demi heure dehors devant.
Cons: Je pense que ce Riad est vétuste et qu’il faudrait y faire quelques travaux de rénovation. Il faudrait que le petit déjeuner soit amélioré.

Ich hätte mir Butter anstelle der marokkanischen Margarine gewünscht, einen kräftigen guten Kaffee, sowie nicht nur süßes Gebäck. ( ein kiri, oliven oder ein Ei wäre gut machbar) Aber gut, man wurde satt und es war nicht schlecht, aber im vergleich zu anderen eher unterdurchschnittlich.

Absolutely stunning Riad with the friendliest of staff. Nothing was too much trouble for them. They organised taxis for pixking us up at the airport and dropping us back as well as to a restaurant. The roof terrace was great to relax on after the hectic pace of a day in Marrakech.

Riad is very authentic, comfortable and located at a very good place where you can easily get to city center by walking in 10-15 minutes. In addition to that, personnel is very friendly and ready to help. Especially, hotel manager, Maria organized for us several times transfers not only from airport but to the other places without any problem. Even , they accepted to keep our luggage’s after our check out and kindly organized comfortable transport to go to another city. Thanks to all for kind hospitality

Cons: Mijn kamer had alleen een raam aan de galerij aan binnenplaats. Er zat wel traliewerk voor maar geen gordijn. Je ligt dus anderhalve meter open bloot voor voorbijgangers als je het raam en de luiken niet sloot. Communicatie met op zich vriendelijke medewerker verliep lastig omdat die alleen Frans sprak en verstond. De eigenaresse wel telefonisch gesproken maar kon en wilde geen andere kamer geven (verstond ik tussen een krijsend kind door….)

Le Riad est au bout d'une impasse. Nous avions pris l'option de venir nous chercher à l'aéroport, puis une personne vient nous chercher car l'accès au Riad ne peut pas se faire en voiture. Quel contraste entre la rue desservant les différents Riad et le Riad en lui-même, très chaleureux avec sa petite fontaine! On nous accueille avec du thé avant de prendre possession de la chambre. C'est calme et les petits déjeuners sont bons!

Nous avons passé un séjour inoubliable au Riad Viva ! A notre arrivée, nous avons été accueillis avec un délicieux thé à la menthe, avant de découvrir notre jolie chambre. Lors de notre séjour, nous avons choisi de visiter le désert d’Agafay, Meriem s'est occupé de tout, c'était juste magnifique et magique ! Les petits déjeuners sont délicieux, copieux et variés avec des spécialités marocaines. Nous avons mangé au Riad, couscous et tajine, juste succulents. Nous avons hâte de revenir 😉 ! Bravo à Meriem et Omar qui sont hyper serviables et agréables, sans oublier Hamza, notre taxi, très professionnel et plein d'humilité.
Cons: Nous aurions dû rester plus longtemps 😁 ! Rien, tout était top !

Non mancava veramente nulla. Riad con una struttura e dei colori assurdi. Purtroppo non abbiamo usufruito della piacevole piscina in vista del brutto tempo che c’è stato durante il nostro soggiorno. Omar, il receptionist è stato super disponibile. Tutto veramente fantastico.
Cons: La colazione seppur buona non era molto abbondante confrontandola con quelle delle altre strutture. La colazione comunque è stata ottima. Forse avrei preferito maggiore possibilità di scelta.

Cons: Malheureusement, nous avons été déçu du Riad. Pour se rendre au Riad, il faut passer par des ruelles qui ne sont pas éclairées. Cela n’est pas sécurisant du tout. Il n’y avait pas de frigo dans la chambre ni au moins un verre. La literie n’était pas du tout confortable. Et le petit déjeuner est très basic. Nous avons mangé tous les matins avec nos manteaux et dans le froid. Les portes de la salle restent ouvertes malgré le froid du Riad.

Nous revenons au riad viva pour la deuxième. Le personnel est toujours aussi accueillant, disponible, souriant. Un riad joliment décoré, on s'y sent bien. bien situé ,très calme ,le quartier est sécurisé car il y a un des, palais du roi . Du rooftop on surplombe une partie de la mamounia . La place Jemaa el fna est à 10 mn à pied. Un petit encouragements a Omar qui a intégré l'équipe depuis peu ,il nous sert le petit déjeuner et nous ouvre le soir quand nous rentrons tard , toujours disponible. Je recommande cet endroit . The location of the Riad is in a perfect position to walk around Marrakech. Breakfast was lovely but it would have been even better if we could have eaten on the roof terrace. All staff were very helpful and made you feel very welcome.

Hotel zlokalizowany blisko głównych atrakcji, w Medynie, co było z jednej strony niewątpliwym plusem, z drugiej zaś strony dojście do hotelu wąską, ciemną uliczką, zwłaszcza gdy jest już ciemno nie należało do przyjemnych.

The peace tranquility & fragrance throughout the Riad. The room was spacious & very comfortable. We think a suite? Loved the bathroom & it quirkiness. All Staff were extremely friendly & you were made to feel very welcome by both the reception couple & domestic staff. The place was spotlessly clean & well cared for. We loved the entrance the water feature & fresh rose blooms decorating it. Easy to find too near to the hospital & Royal palace wall a short walk too from taking a local cab.
Cons: Felt the breakfast was a little bit muddled. Hot water for tea needs to be boiling hot & attention to serve just one table at a time would be better. We had to keep asking for missing things. But breakfast had nice varieties. Juice yoghurt eggs breads pancakes sponge cake jam etc. I would have also liked steps or indications to the depth of the small pool -it was very hard to access with no steps or handrail too. In light of that we didn’t use it.

El personal ha sido maravilloso, siempre pendientes de nosotras (en especial Amin). El Riad es precioso, decorado con mucho estilo y gusto. Las habitaciones muy bonitas y cómodas. La zona de la terraza, magnífica para tomar un 🫖 y descansar juntos a la piscina.
Cons: Está situado prácticamente al final y la costumbre de ir en moto y bicicleta de los lugareños, al principio resulta incómodo, luego se normaliza.

Sehr netter Kontakt vor der Reise und auch vor Ort. Hilfsbereit und immer da. Das Riad Viva liegt recht zentral, zu Fuß war vieles erreichbar. In der Nähe gibt es Einkaufsmöglichkeiten.
Cons: Frühstück ist für uns irgendwann sehr eintönig gewesen. Etwas mehr Abwechslung oder Auswahl hätte uns gefallen.

Cons: Le Hammam ne fonctionnait pas lors de notre venue. Pas de possibilités de prendre un verre( soda ou jus) le soir au Riad. Un peu d’animation musicale aurait été très bien surtout que le vielleur de nuit est musicien .

beau Riad bien entretenu et calme sauf toit terrasse, magnifique avec sa piscine mais dont les coussins auraient besoin d’un bon nettoyage ! Un peu loin, pour nous, du cœur de Marrakech ( 20 mn à pied de djema el fna) , quartier sécurisé à côté du Palais Royal. chambre propre, très grand lit. Femmes de ménage très gentilles et souriantes. déco simple. Pensez à apporter vos cintres! Que 2 dans placards ! Petit déjeuner correct ( dommage de ne pas avoir un vrai jus d’orange pressé)
Cons: Communication très difficile avec le personnel ! Sachez que tous les extras ( dîner, eau, thé..) sont à payer à la fin de votre séjour en espèces. Détail que nous aurions voulu savoir à l’avance. Donc bien prévoir suffisamment d’argent! Il semble qu’il soit difficile (et c’est faible de le dire!!)de dîner ou prendre son petit déjeuner sur ce beau toit terrasse... trop d’escaliers à monter? Trop fatigant ? Pas pratique ? Les commentaires que j’avais lu pour décider de choisir ce riad ne correspondent pas à mon vécu ou alors on est tombé sur une mauvaise semaine…!

El personal es encantador, cada uno de ellos nos ha proporcionado su ayuda. -La piscina en la azotea es muy agradable para los días calurosos y después poder tomar el sol y descansar en las tumbonas mientras escuchas los pajaritos.

Really nice staff - Amin was very helpful throughout the whole stay and went above and beyond. The airport pickup (costs extra) waited for us despite a plane delay and long border control, they were really patient. No noise at night time - very quiet and no motorbike noises Felt very clean - the room, terrace etc. Very good breakfast, catered for vegan diet with salads, fruit, bread, juice. Lots of little shops nearby for water and snacks, felt very safe
Cons: If you can’t walk long distances and only want to go to Souks/Jamaa el fna, then this will be a 15min walk. Perfect for us but for others might be a bit harder

Wir sind in der Nacht um 2 Uhr im Riad Viva angekommen, der Amin ( Mitarbeiter) hat schon auf uns gewartet. Er war sehr freundlich, hat uns zu unserem Zimmer gebracht. Hat uns gefragt wann wir Frühstücken wollen. Die Frühstückszeit konnten wir täglich ganz nach unseren Wünschen ausrichten, das war richtig super. Da war selbst 6 Uhr kein Problem. Der Amin hat sich sehr bemüht mit uns deutsch zu sprechen, da wir im Englischsprechen noch nicht so gut sind. Das war super. Wir hatten ein schönes Zimmer, mit allem was man braucht. Auf der Terrasse ( Roof top) gab es einen kleinen Pool, völlig ausreichend um sich zu erfrischen. Liegen und eine gemütliche Sitzecke gab es auch auf der Terrasse. Auch alle anderen Mitarbeiter waren stets freundlich und haben unsere Anliegen zu unserer Zufriedenheit gelöst/beantwortet. Also alles in allem ein sehr schönes Riad. Danke
Cons: In Marrakesch, oder auch Marokko ist es nicht so üblich Alkohol zu trinken. Aber ich hatte mir doch, ab und an mal ein Gläschen Wein 🍷auf der Terabyte gewünscht.

Cons: Le Riad se trouve à la fin d’une ruelle en sens unique et non accessible en voiture. Une centaine de mètre à faire à pied et 500 mètres de la première avenue.

Riad splendido in zona tranquilla appena fuori dalla Medina. Comodo per aeroporto e stazione dei treni/bus. Il personale è super disponibile, mi hanno aiutato stampandomi la carta d'imbarco (necessaria la stampa per l'aeroporto di Marrakesh). Amin mi ha fatto quasi commuovere preparandomi personalmente la colazione alle 4.30 di mattina (causa volo) e accompagnandomi a prendere il taxi. Magnifico!

My friend, Malin, and I spent 3 wonderful nights at Riad Viva, and our experience was truly delightful. The genuine warmth and hospitality of Meriem, our gracious host, Amine, and everyone from the Riad made us feel warmly welcomed and completely at ease. We particularly appreciated the flexibility of early check-in and late check-out. The riad exudes traditional Moroccan charm with its intricate design and serene ambiance. Each morning, Amine thoughtfully prepared and served a beautifully presented breakfast that added a delightful start to our days. We especially enjoyed savoring our meals while taking in the tranquility and peace in the Riad. Although the riad is situated a few blocks from where cars can access, which can make transporting luggage a bit challenging, Meriem arranged taxis with great efficiency to smooth our journey. She also offered excellent recommendations for local attractions and arranged massages, ensuring a thoroughly relaxing experience. This location contributes to the riad’s charm, offering a peaceful retreat from the city’s hustle and bustle. The attentive care and thoughtful touches from the staff made our experience exceptional. As this was our first trip to Morocco, we couldn’t have asked for a better introduction. Thank you for making it unforgettable.

Easy arriving and parking around 5 min possibile (70 dirham / Night) and there was a pickup service to reach the Hotel easily (by foot). The location is much better and (looks) safer than in the Medina. Amin was very friendly with a warm welcoming, we even had breakfast earlier because of our flight. Rooms are very nice and the terrace have beautiful views. The riad is equipped in modern way but nether the less it hasn’t lost it’s traditional Charme. Would have stayed longer than just a day!

La struttura è molto accogliente e in una buona posizione per raggiungere alcuni dei punti di interesse. Il tè alla menta di benvenuto con dolcetti, e il fantastico pane tipico servito a colazione. Poter usare il bagno a disposizione per rinfrescarsi, qualora si abbia il volo nel tardo pomeriggio/sera. La gentilezza e cortesia del personale: un grazie particolare ad Amin che è addirittura andato a comprare un dispositivo medico di cui avevo estrema necessità, ma non sapevo come e dove reperire. Ancora grazie!
Cons: La colazione è buona, consiglio però di ampliare la scelta inserendo frutta fresca o secca e magari anche qualcosa di salato per accompagnare il pane e accontentare un po' tutti. Consiglio di inserire nelle stanze un asciugacapelli. Consiglio inoltre di fornire un telo per la piscina e un asciugamano per la doccia a persona...noi eravamo in due e ne avevamo solo uno per tipo.

Arrivato di notte ho usufruito per 30€ del servizio taxi che mi ha lasciato ai confini della medina dove mi aspettava il gentilissimo responsabile notturno del Riad che mi ha accompagnato a piedi al Riad preparato il the' e poi la colazione.Stesso servizio col checkout all' alba con accompagnamento al taxi . This is a beautiful old Riad. We had a lovely spacious suite and a large bathroom. Great air-con in the room. There is a large terrace on the roof with views across the rooftops and a small pool. Miriam and all the staff were very helpful and friendly.
Cons: The riad is around 20 minutes walk to Jma el Fna but if you wait near the closest road you will usually find a taxi.

Cons: Repas au riad un peu cher donc nous allions toujours manger à l'extérieur et c'est dommage surtout qu'il y a une magnifique terrasse...

Très beau Riad, très propre. Possibilité de laisser sa voiture en début de ruelle ( environ 300m du Riad à pied), moyennant une centaine de Dirhams par jour pour des locaux qui s'en occupe, c'est rassurant. Literie: très bien. Chambre avec salle d'eau, wc, tv, climatisation. Petit déjeuner : très bien. Petite piscine sur la terrasse. 13 mn à pied, de la place Jemaa el fna. Amir est une personne, très souriante très agréable et très serviable. Bref, très bon qualité prix
Cons: La Tv qui n"a jamais pu recevoir de chaînes Malgré l'intervention d'un employé du Riad. Ce n'est pas trop gênant car nous ne venons pas non plus à Marrakech pour regarder la Tv

Amazing Riad, well located with lots of small shops for water enroute. The staff were incredible and beyond helpful. Our stay was completely stress free, we were so happy to be staying here and would recommend to any friends travelling to Marrakech. We were served tea as soon as we arrived and also took tea up to the rooftop. Reception was 24/7 and we felt very safe and looked after at the Riad. We had dinner at the Riad on the first night for ease which was beautiful and breakfast was delicious. We also used the hotel taxi service to and from the airport which was very efficient and comfortable - definitely a relaxing way to get to and from the airport.

Personnel très agréable et serviable. Bons petits déjeuners. Riad très propre et joli, chambre spacieuse. Possibilité d'accéder à la Médina à pied grâce à la proximité.
Cons: Quartier en travaux et non accessible en voiture du fait de rues étroites (prévoir environ 5 min à pied).

Close to the main square, less than 10 minute walk; lovely breakfast, friendly staff. Room was clean and comfortable. The pool, while small, was very relaxing in the hot weather! Lovely mint tea on arrival.

Cons: La primera noche, habían olvidado preparar 3 camas. Solo 2 estaban hechas. Cómo lleguemos tarde, no era el momento de pedir para hacer una cama. Pues tuve que dormir en el sofá.

Le riad est très agréable, au calme. La chambre est spacieuse et climatisée. La piscine est rafraîchissante l 'été. Le petit déjeuner est parfait. Merci pour le café du matin ! Le personnel est d'une extrême gentillesse. Ils vous organisent d 'ailleurs les excursions. Petite astuce pour les déplacements urbains : nous avons utilisé le taxi jaune ( 2 à 3 euros)ou le tuc tuc (5 euros par trajet jusqu à la place).

Decor. Plunge pool on roof. Staff. Location ....walking distance to Jemaa el Fna, Saardian Tombs, Bahia Palace, etc. Kittens (!).
Cons: Initially a bit difficult to find first alley leading to Viva . Hint to others : if arriving by cab and driver doesn't know where it is, ask to be dropped off at Hospital Ibn Zohr. The guesthouse is located about 5 minutes walk up signed and local friendly alleys.

Gostámos muito da nossa estadia. Funcionários muito prestáveis e simpáticos. Quarto muito grande e com todas as comodidades. Pequeno almoço e jantar deliciosos e a piscina foi a cereja no topo do bolo.

Todo. La atención es muy buena. Personal muy amable. El Riad es precioso y la piscina en la azotea no tiene desperdicio. La ubicación es buenísima. A 10 min andando de la plaza.Aunque al principio parezca que te esas metiendo en los suburbios, es un lugar muy seguro con policía en cada esquina ya que el palacio real está justo al lado. Puedes comprar en los negocios del barrio ya que tienen precios locales. Puedes cenar por poco más de 20 dh. Es un lugar muy adecuado para pasar unos días en la ciudad

It was very very pretty, very calming and ideal location about 10-15 minute walk to the Souks. We felt very safe and comfortable there and the rooftop was absolutely ideal. Abdul was very kind and accommodating!
