Peter and his staff are very attentive and were so helpful with tips. Also the communication with them before our arrival was fantastic- I never waited long for a reply to a question etc. Our room was also perfect for 2 people. The rooftop was great to chill on and breakfast was so nice as well. The Riad is close enough to the action but not as busy as being too close to the central souks, which was perfect for us.

Cons: Only minor issue was some water backup in the shower.

Everyone can see the beauty of this place through the pictures so my words about that would be redundant. But what can't be seen, until you get your own experience, is the amazing staff who makes this riad different from the others. The communication before my arrival was absolutely great, very smooth and very fast. During my stay, I had the chance to meet Hamza and Adil who were absolutely phenomenal! You feel with them like you met your friends from many years ago. And then, I tried the dinner made by Karima, what an unforgettable culinary experience! If you're looking for a place where you don't want to feel just like another guest, and if you appreciate deeper human connection, this is the place to stay.

Cons: The terrace room wasn't spacious and it was a bit challenging to move around there but you probably will spend most of your time outside exploring the mesmerizing Marrakech. Plus, riads are old traditional buildings so it's not that the rooms can be expanded easily.

Fantastic location. Near the heart of the old city. The staff were beyond wonderful. Hassan and Adil made sure that we were taken care of all the way. Amazing dinner. They had a surprise menu for un on the first night. Really good with amazing and balanced flavors. We were so happy.

Cons: Rooms and bathrooms are smaller, but that’s expected from such location.

The riad is really nice and everyone is pretty welcoming from our arrival until our departure. Since we were the only hosts, we got the terrace room, that allowed us to chill before our road trip to Merzouga. Riad Dar Zaman certainly raised the bar for our next accomodations. Breakfast had a lot of fresh and homemade things that I will for sure look for in the souks or try to find recipes for. Make sure to use the local app suggested by the host to get around and understand the closing times for the medina and you'll be fine walking around.

Cons: I only booked for one night. I would probably extend that on a next visit.

The staff with so helpful! Adil gave us such a warm welcome, and Hassane was so helpful with recommendations and directions - they really made our stay so enjoyable. The riad was very sweet and had a great roof terrace. We were only there for one night before we were heading on a trek, but I would have happily stayed for longer

Cons: Nothing. The water went off in the whole area, but this wasn’t a Riad dad zaman issue, it was all of the area, but the staff did everything they could to get it back on quickly.

Absolutely loved our 3-night stay at Riad Dar Zaman in Marrakesh! From the moment we walked in, it felt like a little hidden oasis— beautifully decorated with that perfect blend of Moroccan charm and cozy comfort. The vibe is so peaceful, warm, and welcoming-truly like coming home after a long day exploring the medina. The staff? Simply the sweetest people ever. So helpful, kind, and always ready with a smile or some great local tips. We felt safe, cared for, and genuinely looked after the entire time. If you're heading to Marrakesh and want a place with soul, style, and the best hospitality -100% recommend Riad Dar Zaman. We'll be dreaming of coming back!

I wanted to stay at a traditional Moroccan riad and this property did not disappoint. It is nestled in the heart of a vibrant community but once inside guests are greeted with tranquility, Moroccan tea of course, and lots of hospitality. I loved our room, the breakfast and eating out on the rooftop garden. I would highly recommend if you want an authentic, non-commercial experience.

It was lovely. Very relaxing. We were away for my birthday. All the staff are very friendly. We were welcomed with drinks and advised of places to visit, eat etc which was really nice and gave us ideas of where to go. The hotel is beautifully decorated and full of Moroccan charm, rooms are comfy, breakfasts are delicious. We sat next to the open fire. There is a lovely roof top garden for lounging though we didn’t really use it as it is a little chilly in January. The location is great, tucked away but walkable to everywhere. Highly recommend.

Everything was amazing! The welcome, the property, the room, the perfect location and the food! I cannot recommend this Riad highly enough. In particular the amazing staff who were as welcoming as they were efficient and friendly; and the food, if you can have dinner here at least once! The location right outside the Medina is fantastic too. If you are coming to Marrakech and want to stay in an authentic and amazing Riad, you cannot do better than Dar Zaman

Lovely personal service, nothing was too much. We even had one breakfast on the roof terrace and watched the sunrise. They gave us lots of helpful tips to navigate the city and souks. Breakfast and location were fantastic. Staff are absolutely amazing, definitely the best part of the stay. Hassan and Hamza helped us out so much, unbelievable how lovely they are. We already miss them!

Beautiful small Riad. The staff is exceptional and really catered to our needs. The food was excellent. Can’t say enough about Karima’s cooking and Hamza’s and Adil’s pampering and wealth of information. They made our first visit to Marrakech a much better experience. Also, there was a great group of guests at the Riad. We all became friends and ventured out together. Overall a great experience.

Cons: The only negative I would say is that it’s very tight sleeping quarters and a small bathrooms.

I booked this riad because they offer a vegan breakfast. I was grateful for that because Marrakech isn't the best city for vegans. The roof terrace was nice too. I loved that they provided free drinking water. Hassan helped me with a query over WhatsApp, which I appreciated.

Cons: Even though this place is marketed heavily to vegans, I was served a non-vegan cake on arrival. Fortunately I asked, but it was a little sad that there was no alternative welcome snack- even a piece of fruit would have been a nice touch. There was enough breakfast, but it definitely was lesser than the non-vegan breakfast. They state online that they offer all sorts of exciting things like pancakes. However, every day I was given hummus and avocado. They only give soy milk for coffee, which makes the coffee unpleasant. I hope they switch to barista-style oat milk. I was also served non-vegan items with breakfast on two days- so I didn't feel the staff communicated effectively about dietary needs. I felt a slightly odd vibe as a single female traveller. I felt a little disrespected at times, e.g. no breakfast spot being prepared for me and I just had to sit like a lemon for ten minutes, having to sit and wait twenty minutes to check out before a member of staff acknowledged my presence.

We loved our stay at Riad Dar Zaman. The host/owner, Peter, was lovely and a great source of local knowledge. The staff, Hassan, Hamza and Adil, were fantastic. The property is in the perfect location, close to the old town markets but still in a quiet and secluded area. Was a little tricky to find on the first day. We would highly recommend using the airport transfer offered by the property. It’s slightly more expensive than a taxi but is well worth it to be brought directly to the riad. Accommodation was cozy, comfortable and beautifully decorated. Food was delicious, especially breakfast. We stayed in the room on the terrace. It was quiet and very private. The shower was a generous size and, although the room was compact, it was well laid out and had everything we needed. I would recommend this property to anyone travelling to Marrakech.

Cons: There was nothing that we didn’t like.

having no idea what to expect from morocco or marrakech i can honestly say that myself and all of my companions loved every bit of our stay at riad dar zaman. every staff member was so kind and welcoming. we all want to come back and stay again. the beds and rooms were FANTASTIC (i want to buy the sheets) the breakfast alone is worth every penny but the dinners are insanely wonderful. all 4 of us in our group think the soup we were served was quite possibly the best we have ever eaten. again we were welcomed so warmly and made to feel like family, please look no further for your stay in marrakech.

We loved the tailored service Adil was able to provide and we felt very looked after by him! We particularly appreciated him working over Eid! We had dinner one night which was probably the best veggie tagine we had in Marrakech. The breakfast was also lovely with I think a more varied spread than other places offer. The almond butter was amazing! The rooms were clean, comfortable and stylish. We liked chilling on the roof terrace in the morning and evening. All the staff were lovely and gave fantastic recommendations on where to eat and visit.

Cons: We booked this riad because we read it catered well for vegans - there was a tofu scramble on the website that wasn’t offered in practice which was disappointing. The bread was also different to the pictures on the website - the traditional flatbread would have been nicer.

This property is an oasis in the old city. The accommodation is comfortable and with a limited number of guest rooms it feels like your own private residence. The staff are exceptional! They are knowledgable, extremely helpful and go beyond expectations to make sure your stay is comfortable and assisting with the arranging of sightseeing excursions. The breakfast offers a fulsome choice of items, from freshly pressed orange juice, buttery avocado and a wonderful assortment of other items. The cooking class was informative, fun and delicious! The staff were lovely and so helpful. We were delayed in arriving and a meal was still provided late at night and Adel even helped to book us train tickets for our onward travel. This meant that the streets were full of locals and were hassle free compared to a lot of the Medina.

The riad is in a great location in the Medina, with a beautiful relaxing terrace and other nice indoor seating areas. It’s a bit challenging to find (like everything!), but Hassan gave us a thorough explanation of how to get around using landmarks and the maps.me app. The bed was comfortable, and since there are only 4 rooms it was really pretty quiet. It’s a nice break from the craziness of the city! A nice touch was the free filtered water - the plastic bottles really start to pile up otherwise. We loved all the suggestions of things to do and places to eat!

Peter, Hassan and Adil were amazing hosts, and Riad Dar Zaman was the perfect place to spend our first night in Morocco. After a small crisis at the airport when our car rental falling through, Peter was able to organise a like-for-like rental once we arrived at the riad with a trustworthy local company. As two males travelling together, we didnt find all places in Morocco to be truly relaxed and welcoming, but the opposite was the case at the Riad, with Hassan being incredibly welcoming and helpful on our arrival, giving us tips on all the local places to visit and eat. And when I developed a migraine late in the evening, Adil didnt hesitate to go out and get some paracetemol for me. It was like staying with family, we loved it.

The family stayed for 5 nights in 2 rooms over the Christmas period at Riad Dar Zaman. The riad is a comfortable, authentic Marrakech guest house in the Medina, an ideal location to explore the old and new town. Peter, the owner, has wonderful staff with big thanks to Hassan, Adil, Fayid and Karima. My daughter did an in house Moroccan cooking class with Karima wich was followed by a tasty lunch served on the roof terrace. Pickup and return to the airport organised by the team worked like clockwork and is recommended if you have not been to the medina before. If you are tired of staying in the soulless international hotel chains to be found in the new town and want to a more genuine Moroccan experience, riad Dar Zaman is an ideal choice. Highly recommended.

I have just got back home after four wonderful nights staying at Dar Zaman with my 14 year old daughter. I travel a lot and have stayed in many small, friendly hotels but I’m not sure I’ve ever had the warmth we felt here. Hassan greeted us with such genuine care, telling us about where to go, how to go and making sure we were safe and happy about orientating ourselves so we didn’t get lost when returning from our first trip to the souks. As we left to go out we met Peter, the owner who is also super friendly and welcoming. In fact, I knew through everyone’s warmth and friendliness that the whole team here get on well as the attention to detail continued on with everybody - Saïd, Adil and Karima who are all smiles and there to help. Karima’s cooking is exceptional - our first evening we had supper in - utterly delicious, the best tagines we ate all week. Thank you so much Hassan. I meant it when I said I will be returning. I feel privileged to have met you and feel like I’ve made a new friend.

Cons: There is nothing I can fault.

- The staff was exceptional, they really exceeded all of our expectations! They were welcoming, friendly, and made sure to repeatedly check-in that we were having a good time and if we needed any specific information. - The breakfast was delicious! While there was some confusion on our first day because we had ordered the vegan vegan when we made the booking and we received eggs and dairy yoghurt, this was quickly resolved for the next day. The bread, the hummus, the orange juice and the coffee were all delicious, and the avocado and fruit were nice and fresh. - The shower gel and shampoo were luxurious and we were smelling them throughout the day! - The location is right next to the souks, so nearby there's plenty to explore, all walkable, we didn't have to use any taxis to get around the city.

Cons: - The room could've been bigger, but we had only a backpack each with coming over for the weekend so no big deal. - I would've liked some body lotion and hair conditioner to complete my shower routine.

A beautiful small riad tucked away in a quiet spot of the medina. An oasis of calm in the chaos of Marrakech. We were greeted on arrival by Adil who presented us with delicious Moroccan tea. The room was ready nice and early. We had a delicious meal on the first night. The room was clean and tidy with a large bathroom. The breakfast was delicious. By far and away the best think about the riad is the staff - kind, helpful, friendly. They made the riad feel like a home away from home. We would highly recommend.

Cons: There's nothing not to like about Dar Zaman but make sure you arrange to be picked up by someone at the riad as it can be tricky to find if you haven't been before.

Dar Zaman is beautiful, a stunning riad that feels like a little oasis in Marrakesh. Breakfast is fresh and delicious- the eggs and dips were a highlight. Rooms are clean and comfortable and toiletries are provided. The location can seem confusing at first but once you’ve got there and back once or twice it’s quite simple and although it’s dark after sunset, it feels safe. The part that makes this place stand out is the staff- Hassan and Adil were amazing, they make you feel completely at home and gave us some great recommendations for where to eat and what to do. The chilled filtered water in the rooms is a great touch too. We didn’t want to leave!

Fantastic stay at Riad Dar Zaman. Hassan, Saïd and Peter couldn’t have been more helpful. They had a meal waiting for us after our late arrival and breakfast everyday was lovely. Would highly recommend and will definitely stay there again.

The staff were exceptionally friendly, Hassan gave us a lot of useful information on Marrakech and was always on hand to deal with any requests. Room was cosy, clean, and comfortable - breakfast was great as well.

Cons: Nothing to do with the riad itself - we would recommend arranging transport to the riad to prevent harrasment at the other end as the riad itself is a small walk away from where the taxi can drop you off. The staff will happily arrange this for you before your trip.

We had a lovely experience at the Riad Dar Zaman. We felt very welcomed by the super trio: Peter, Hassan and Adeen. They would go far and beyond to accommodate and make our stay was stress free. The breakfast was delicious with a lovely selection of fresh produce. It has been an absolute pleasure to stay in this petit paradise in the heart of Marrakesh. We highly recommend this jewel! This Riad is approached through narrow twisting alleys past broken buildings, buildings being mended and appears unpromising at first. Once inside this is a haven of peace and as Yasmine told us on arrival "this is your home for the next few days so you are now part of the family". Yasmine and Hassan who cover nights and days respectively are so very helpful, kind and polite. They provide yards of information and as we were first timers in Marrakech they gave us so many survival tips as well as information, directions and advice on the best places to visit and eat in 3 days. We also met Peter who is the English owner but who now lives offsite. Again he was generous and helpful and made us feel really welcome. The room was unique in our experience and appeared to be consistent with the north African styles which we experienced but very comfortable and compact. Breakfast was superb and we took dinner on the first evening which again was delightful. We had our own key to come and go and there was always a refreshing drink of mint tea on arrival from a busy day walking round Marrakech.

We can't recommend this enough, the riad is beautiful, the bedrooms are lovely and the breakfast is delicious but none of this compares to the wonderful hospitality afforded to us by Hassan and his colleagues. Overall all the staff were so kind and helpful that we felt like royalty for a weekend.

My partner and I stayed for one week in Dar Zaman at the end of October. This charming, small riad is the perfect respite from the hustle and bustle of the Marrakech souks. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel part of the Dar Zaman family, by Peter, Hassan, Yassine & Karima. Their service & attention is second to none - you would not find better service at any hotel/guesthouse. I cannot recommend Dar Zaman enough. Hassan & Yassine - the day & night managers of the Riad, are so personable and show genuine care and attention to their guests. They helped arrange our day trips out of Marrakech, and helped with reservations at restaurants & hammam/spas with no trouble at all. I would recommend anyone who stays at Dar Zaman to enjoy dinner there, at least once - their Chicken Tagine is the best we tasted in Marrakech. I am counting down the days until we return to this paradise!

We wanted to stay in a riad to get a more authentic experience and it didn't disappoint one bit. The riad was lovely and what made the whole trip even better was the staff who work there. They got the balance spot on between being there to help and also giving us our own space. Having fresh tea made for us every evening and listening to stories of our experiences that day was just brilliant. Local knowledge was amazing. I would find it hard for anyone to say they didn't enjoy there stay and before booking be clear that this riad isn't in the shiny part of the city. It's in a local neighbourhood that isn't polished up for tourists. We felt completely safe at all times and there is always someone on duty in the riad. If you want to be in a really local area, within 5 mins the souks, then this place is for you. It is a slightly longer walk into the main square but we couldn't get enough of the walk through the bustling alleyways with all the sights and smells.

I requested a pick up from the airport since it was my first time there and I was alone. From the airport driver to the staff, to the stay at the Riad, driver of the tour, the guide at the Atlas Mountains and owner they were all simply "AMAZING". Hassan was beyond helpful and complete attentive to my needs and wants during this trip; Abdul (driver to my tour) simply sweet and always with a smile on his face; Mohamed Ali was supremely knowledgeable, attentive and always made sure to check up on you during the hike about the Atlas Mountains and surrounding area. Can't say anything else but to give them the best and honest review! I would definitely return!

Dar Zaman is a must stay for Marrakech. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The breakfast is very nice quality and filling. The location is in a quiet area within easy walking distance to many places. The best part of Dar Zaman is the staff! Hassan and Yassin are the best! The make you feel at home. They have a good balance of giving you plenty of attention and giving you your space and privacy. They sit down with each guest and give yo very detailed directions to places to insure you dont get lost and have to ask for directions and dealing with constant touts. They are incredible and really contributed to our whole impression of Marrakech!

Amazing staff, Hassan, Yassin and Sakina all made our stay the best it could possibly be. The raid was a great chilled and relaxing place to retreat to after time in the hustle and bustle of the old walled city. Rooms were comfortable and cool, (A/C). After luggage was lost by the airline and arriving with nothing we had help above and beyond expectations in dealing with that. Nothing was a problem for the staff, especially Hassan. Would highly recommend eating in at the raid at least one night, we did 3. We found Hassan to be wealth of knowledge and so keen to share information. Hassan really looked after us and we were very thankful for his gentle, kindness. There was also great understanding for the culture shock that can be experienced by guests. I can not recommend highly enough Riad Dar Zaman, it's the staff which makes it such a special, welcoming and inclusive place to stay. The best tours we booked were through the Riad with their local knowledge. Great location and would stay no where else on our return to Marrakech.

Nice little Riad managed by a friendly brit and his staff. Little tricky to find initially, but well located to explore the Medina and within 10-15 min. walk of the Jemaa el-Fnaa square. Great support with maps and any other issues during this cosy stay - only downside might be if you really want the feeling of privacy in your room as this far from soundproof, but on the other side you are likely to hear the birds sing while awakening.

If you're looking for an oasis of peace and quiet in the busy medina of Marrakech, this is the place to stay at. The rooms and the entire Riad are well designed, nicely decorated, and well taken care of. The team seems to have just one goal: seeing you happy. Everyone of them was amazing and helped me with organizing everything I needed. I enjoyed it so much, that I came back for another 2 nights at the end of my trip. When you arrive for the first time, I recommend relying on a driver organized by the team - it might be hard to find the Riad if you havn't been there before.

Riad Dar Zaman is a great hotel in the middle of the Medina. With four rooms, it is very small and intimate, but the hosts are at the same time incredibly nice and helpful, yet leave the guests to their own devices when appropriate. The hotel is very beautiful, the rooms are nice and a good and hearty breakfast is served every morning. The staff is very helpful (Hassan in particular!) in helping you out with the organisation of your stay in Marrakesh, drawing maps for you, recommending restaurants, organising local hamam vists and day trips. A great stay.

We cannot praise this Riad enough it's well located, with great food(inc lovely fresh continental breakfasts along with freshly squeezed orange juice, homemade yogurt and omelettes ) also v clean.... But the most impressive thing for us was the quality of the staff and service... Nothing's too much effort , both Karima and particularly Peter and Hassan go to such efforts to give you a warm welcome and ensure have all you need. Hassan goes to great lengths to ensure you can find your way around and passes on local tips and advice on where to go and what to do. Only possible improvement, a well lit bathroom mirror to enable a gentleman to shave. Really looking forward to a return trip....

Everything that was promised was delivered. Airport pickup welcome and would recommend in order to find Riad for first time. Friendly, informative, obliging staff who managed to provide excellent service without being overbearing. One of my lasting memories will be sitting on the roof terrace listening to the call to prayer with the Atlas Mountains in the distance in the warmth of the evening.

The welcome reception and induction was fantastic with Hassan telling us everything we needed to know to get the most of the Medina and this alone was priceless! The room was comfortable and had a nice ambience and was serviced perfectly. The breakfast was nice and we had our first night's meal at the riad which was cooked by Karima and it was also perfect. All in all, a great place to stay in the central Medina with everywhere within walking distance. The owner, Peter, emails you with proper information before you travel and do take up the offer of the taxi transfer from the airport organised by Peter and Hassan because unless you already know the Medina like the back of your hand, you will never find your accommodation and the normal taxi drivers will be equally as clueless!!

We stayed at the Dar Zaman after reading great reviews and were not disappointed. It's very serene, clean and authentic and better than staying in any hotel in Marrakech! It's located about 10-15 mins away from the main Medina and Square. It felt very central for most of our needs, and is also fantastic if you want to experience being amongst something medieval and cultural. The location of the Riad can initially be somewhat daunting, but when you've done it once, it becomes very easy. You will soon realise that this is how the main hub of Marrakech works! Don't be put off by this. Our hosts Peter and Hassan organised our arrival and departure taxi's promptly and were always available for any questions or help (on our arrival, the first thing Hassan did was sit us down and go through all the main site, do's and dont's etc.) The breakfast was nice and Karima made the best omelet! The only negative is the size of the room - abit on the smaller side, but its a very minor thing and we were out for most of the day so didn't cause us any issues. If you are planning a trip to Marrakech I would highly recommend staying here. You wont be disappointed!

Like the Riad Dar Zaman. Location is fine, bit difficult to find your way about the first couple of times to do the journey, then it's fine. Riad is really nicely finished, with a traditional Morrocan feel to it. The staff are what makes this place special, Peter the owner is really friendly and helpful and Hassan the day to day Manager, who is a local guy, is very helpful and really polite. He is very honest with you about places to go, places not to go, also very helpful about the local customs and habits.

We stayed for a few days and selected this place because of its high customer ratings. We had a fantastic time, the best value for money ever probably. With only a handful of rooms, this place is very cozy and intimate. We got our own key and left and came what felt like to our own home. We received detailed and very helpful local advice and tips from Hassan, who went to lengths organizing anything we needed; he even picked up our bus tickets for an excursion to Essouira on his way home one night. We highly recommend having dinner at least once at the Riad, the food is amazing and even tops all the great restaurants we ate at, the atmosphere fantastic. The room (we had the terrace room - which we also recommend if it's available) was cozy and comfortable, cleaned daily. Wifi available at no charge.

A bit out of the way but this meant it was very quiet indeed. Towards the North of the media. Riad was very nice but what made the stay truly excellent was H. and K. who bent over backwards to ensure we were comfortable and provided for. What an amazing place. From the time we were met from our taxi the staff could not have been more helpful, they were fantastic. The Da having just four guest rooms means that the service is very personal . The property has been refurbished and fitted out to a high standard. Our room was well appointed with a very comfortable bed. Western facilities in a local style. The location in the Medina meant that we could walk to many places rather than use taxis. Highly recommended. We plan to return next year with some friends.

Marrakesh had never been on my priority list, until now! I joined my sister in law and two New Zealand friends for a short break. I can honestly say that from the day before departure when Peter, our delightful host and owner, had sweetly called to say he hadn't heard from me about flight arrival times and wanted to know so that all could run smoothly, I never looked back! Dar Zaman is now top of my list to return to. The Riad is just a delightful haven accessed by an exciting labyrinth of alleyways bustling with the smells, sights and sounds of a city which is inviting, different and alluring. Peter said on welcome, "All we want is for our guests to feel part of our lovely home and to benefit from our insight to all the wonderful things that Marrakesh has to offer". Peter and Hassan (the Riad manager's) attention to detail was excellent and not only did we feel so welcome, we experienced 4 days of the most varied and enjoyable entrees into Marrakesh's interesting tapestry. Well done on all levels.

It was a wonderful, charming place to stay. The roof top provided a great view and we felt like we experienced the culture of the old part of the city. The concierge and the cook/housekeeper were wonderful. They were very attentive and tried to meet all of our requests for food etc. We were given directions, maps and tips where to eat and sites to visit which were very helpful. In spite of that, we had difficulty finding our way back to the Riad each of the days we went out to the market. Once was in the evening and once was in the afternoon. We were then at the mercy of the young men on the street (need to pay them for services) to help us find our way back. The breakfasts were wonderful and we ordered a special lunch on Thanksgiving. It was wonderful. They accommodated my gluten free diet as I brought my own grains which they used. Our room was small but we were on the roof top level so could use the public seating area when others weren't using it also. We met interesting couples at breakfast.

Excellent Riad with pleasant hard working Client Services Manager who speaks English very well. Breakfasts were varied and satisfying and evening meal was very good. Rooms were smallish but more than adequate and the bed was large and comfortable. There is ample common room usage within the Riad to more than compensate for the size of the bedroom. Atmosphere was very relaxed and welcoming. Free wifi on the Riad's laptop was a welcome bonus. It's a difficult find and you need to make use of the Riad's excellent transport arrangements for airport transfers. The area is a bit foreboding at first but is quite typical of the old town and we never felt threatened during our stay. We (two couples) feel we made an excellent choice with regard to accommodation and would recommend Dar Zaman without hesitation.

Let me just say that our experience in Dar Zaman was amazing! I don't think we felt the kind of genuine care and intimacy anywhere else in the world! And we both travel a lot! So kudos to you and your team, Peter! Special kudos to Hassan -- who truly epitomizes "going above and beyond" the call of duty to make our stay as pleasant as possible, no matter what the conditions. Hassan, hats off to you! We will always have fond memories of Marrakesh and Morocco, in general. We think it's a beautiful country with a rich culture but what made it more memorable was the warmth of home at Riad Dar Zaman. Thank you so much for the beautiful experience. It was well worth the 30-hour trip!

We loved this Riad!! I just can't say enough good things about our stay. The beds were insanely comfortable with clean, white, puffy, welcoming linens. We had dinner at the Riad which I highly recommend! It was absolutely delicious, one of the best meals we had in Morocco (& we had many good meals). The courtyard area is warm & welcoming with acid jazz playing softly in the background. The staff was exceptional... They went way above & beyond to accommodate us. I would highly recommend staying here while in Marrakech. The location is also good. Yes, the rooms are small but the rooms were small in all the riads we stayed in & the comfort & cleanliness more than made up for it.
