Bij aankomst kwam iemand ons helpen met bagage. We werden tot het hotel gebracht. In de riad kregen we een drankje om af te koelen, we kregen ook informatie en tips. Riad is heel mooi en lekker ontbijt. Personeel is heel vriendelijk en zorgzaam. Met dank aan Mohamed, Marwa en Sallah.

La struttura si trova nella Medina, nascosta in un piccolo vicolo senza sfondo : appena entri respiri pace e silenzio. La camera bellissima e pulitissima, la piccola piscina nel cortile interno sempre accessibile per rinfrescarsi e sono a disposizione anche tanti angoli con poltrone e lettini per rilassarsi, leggere e gustarsi una spremuta. La colazione è sui bellissimi terrazzi, viene servita al tavolo ed è gustosa e sana ( cibi freschi, sempre diversi, di ottima qualità, abbondanti, sia dolci che salati). Le persone dello staff sono tutte gentili, disponibili e professionali, ci hanno aiutato in tutto ( visite, attività, trasferimenti), veramente belle persone, mi sono rimaste nel cuore e spero di incontrarle di nuovo. Ci siamo sentiti davvero coccolati!

De gastvrijheid van al het personeel speciaal mohamed, Marwa en Salah. Sfeer was zeer prettig. Kamer was romantisch ontbijt was fantastisch. Veel ruimtes om de kamer heen zwembad is klein maar fijn om even af te koelen. (Dit is een eerlijke review)

Fantastisches Personal! Vielen lieben Dank an Salah, Mohamed und Marwa, das war einfach toll! So aufmerksam und hilfsbereit, und man hat sich gleich gefühlt wie zu Hause. Sehr familiär aber professionell geführt. Und es blitzt geradezu vor Sauberkeit. Supertolles Frühstück, wundervolles schönes RIAD im klassischen Stil, außergewöhnliche Zimmer. Perfekte Lage direkt an der Medina. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.

Hidden gem. Location is central in the old town and “hidden away” so very quiet. Facilities were great and the staff just superb! Incredibly welcoming, friendly and helpful! We felt very welcome and enjoyed our stay tremendously! We visited middle of July, so the small pools and the air conditioning were life savers :-) We would recommend to anyone visiting Marrakesh! Abbiamo trascorso un soggiorno semplicemente perfetto. Fin dal nostro arrivo siamo stati accolti con un’ospitalità eccezionale e ci siamo sentiti subito come a casa. Tutto lo staff è stato sempre sorridente, gentile e disponibile, pronto ad aiutarci in ogni momento. Le camere erano bellissime, pulite e curate nei minimi dettagli, mentre il cibo è stato davvero ottimo. Un aspetto che abbiamo apprezzato particolarmente è stata l’attenzione verso le esigenze alimentari: uno dei partecipanti era intollerante al lattosio e lo staff si è dimostrato estremamente premuroso, proponendo ogni volta alternative gustose e mai banali. È una cura per gli ospiti che fa davvero la differenza. Ci hanno inoltre dato tantissimi consigli utili su cosa visitare a Marrakech e su come organizzare al meglio le nostre giornate, permettendoci di vivere un’esperienza ancora più bella. Un ringraziamento speciale va a Marwa, Mohamed e Salah, che con la loro professionalità, disponibilità e gentilezza hanno reso questo soggiorno davvero indimenticabile. Consigliamo questa struttura a chiunque voglia vivere un’esperienza autentica, rilassante e sentirsi accolto come in famiglia. Dies ist bereits unser 2.Aufenthalt und unsere Erwartungen wurden übertroffen. Dank Zimmer Upgrade und fabelhaftem Frühstück! Mohamed und Salah sind ganz wunderbare und zuvorkommende Manager. Our stay here was exceptional. The riad itself is beautiful. It's clean, spacious and unique and has a real feel of quiet luxury. I'm not sure I've ever stayed anywhere that feels quite so special before. It's in a great location, a really easy walk to all of the sights but it's quieter and calmer than staying closer to the main town area. Once you get used to the route in the medina it becomes relatively straightforward to get to. The staff were attentive, kind and generous throughout our stay, providing suggestions and recommendations for sightseeing activities to get the most out of our holiday. Mohamed in particular went out of his way to check in with us every morning and took care of us especially well on a day when my husband was unwell; even delivering a particular type of tea to our room to help settle his stomach. We felt very well looked after by all the staff who went out of their way to ensure we enjoyed every moment of our trip. Mohamed, Marwa and Abdul are part of a fantastic team!

Une belle découverte ce riad dans la médina et proche de toutes les activités. Un personnel attentif à nos désirs. Qui nous ont accompagné avant notre arrivée jusqu'à notre départ. Nous avons eu la chance de faire un cours de cuisine avec un plat rarement proposé : Rfissa Bravo Je conseille le soin hammam. Nous avons séjourné dans la suite avec la cheminée. Belle décoration orientale, propre et bonne literie. Tous les centres d intérêt peuvent être fait à pied. Un chargé de sécurité est présent dans la rue des riad pour diriger les touristes dans les rues. Nous nous sommes sentis en sécurité dans Marrakech Un personnel prévenant et une cuisinière excellente. Tout est fait maison du petit déjeuner (servi à table pour éviter le gâchis. C est parfait !) au repas du soir. Bref allez y les yeux fermés. Un grand merci à Mohamed, Marwa, Sallah, Fatima, Karim et toute l équipe. Vous avez rendu notre séjour exceptionnel.

We verbleven er spijtig genoeg enkel maar voor 1 nacht. Maar zal voor altijd in ons geheugen blijven. Bij het binnenkomen wordt je verwelkomt door 2 fantastisch personen, alsof ik ze al jaren kende. We maakte gebruik van de massage en hun restaurant. En dikke 10. Ook dank aan de ober, zo n vriendelijke man. Wat een aangename verrassing en dit in 1 dag. Hun ontbijt ben ik zelfs niet tegengekomen in 5 sterren hotels..... spijtig dat we op door reis waren en het enkel voor 1 nacht was. Boek je marakesh, neem deze riat zeker in overweging. Die Lage ist ausserordentlich gut, sehr ruhig und doch sehr zentral. Die Kommunikation mit dem Riat war super. Im Voraus bereits teilen sie Dinge mit, wie z.B. auf was man achten muss beim Geld wechseln. Das Frühstück war hervorragend. Wir haben leider dieses Riat nur eine Nacht gebucht und bereuten es sehr, dass wir in unserer Reiseplanung nicht länger dieses Riat gebucht haben.

Dieser Riad war für uns wie aus einem Märchen! Mitten im lebhaften, bunten und chaotischen Marrakesch verbirgt sich eine wunderschöne Oase der Ruhe. Besonders positiv überrascht hat uns die hervorragende Kommunikation bereits vor der Anreise. Wir erhielten viele hilfreiche Informationen und wertvolle Tipps, sodass wir uns von Anfang an gut aufgehoben fühlten. Auch der organisierte Flughafentransfer hat reibungslos funktioniert. Unser Zimmer war schön und gemütlich Das Frühstück und die Abendessen waren einfach unvergesslich – jedes Gericht war ein Genuss. Das gesamte Personal war unglaublich herzlich, freundlich und stets hilfsbereit, sodass wir uns jederzeit willkommen gefühlt haben. Ein weiteres Highlight waren das Hammam und die Massage – die perfekte Möglichkeit, nach einem erlebnisreichen Tag in Marrakesch zu entspannen. Wir können diesen Riad von Herzen weiterempfehlen und würden jederzeit wiederkommen. Vielen Dank für diesen wunderbaren Aufenthalt!

Bereits viele Tage vor der Anreise wurde seitens des Ambre Epices Medina Riad mit uns Kontakt aufgenommen. Wir wurden nach unseren Service - und Ausflugswünschen gefragt und Unterstützung bei der Umsetzung dieser angeboten. Besonders vorbildlich fanden wir den Vorschlag, unser Gepäck von der Straße/Taxi/Transfer abzuholen und uns durch die Gassen zum Riad zu begleiten. Zugleich wurde uns auch ein kleiner Film (im Zeitraffer) mit einer Wegbeschreibung durch die Gassen zum Riad zugesandt. Dieser war uns wirklich behilflich. Auch die Organsiation der Abreise und die Buchung eines Privattransfers zum Flughafen klappte pünktlich und absolut reibungslos und zudem zu einem sehr fairen Preis. Die Lage des Riads am Ende einer schmalen Gasse ist - wenn man es nicht kennt -beim ersten Mal möglicherweise etwas ungewohnt. Wir haben uns jedoch schnell zurechtgefunden und es war auch keine Situation gegeben, in der wir uns bei dem Weg durch die Gassen unbehaglich fühlten. Der Empfang durch die Mitarbeitenden des Riad, insbesondere von Marwa und Mohamed, war überaus herzlich. Wir fühlten uns während des gesamten Aufenthaltes willkommen. Schön war, dass wir bereits zur Mittagszeit das gebuchte Zimmer beziehen konnten. Die Dachterrasse ist sehr schön gestaltet, groß und sie verfügt über mehrer Ebenen. Nicht nur zur Frühstückszeit, sondern insbesondere in den etwas kühleren Abendstunden konnten wir von dort den Ausblick genießen und entspannen.
Cons: Das sind nur Kleinigkeiten. In unserem Zimmer waren sehr viele runde Spiegel als Gestaltungselemente an den Wänden angebracht. Leider war keiner davon so richtig geeignet, das eigene Spiegelbild, z.B. zum Haarefönen anzusehen. Wenigstens einen "richtigen" großen Spiegel im Bad hätten wir begrüßt. Das Frühstück ist für die ortsübliche Verhältnisse sehr abwechslungsreich. Wir brauchten jedoch etwas Geduld, bis alles serviert worden war.

The property was very cute with traditional details and lots of different areas to relax. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. A massive thank you to all staff that we met throughout our stay, every single person was so friendly and genuine and made us feel very welcome. We had to leave early in the morning and they made sure that someone was available to help us with our bags and even made us a delicious breakfast pack. The location is also great, close to the airport and attractions - the amazing staff also give you a map and talk you through all areas of the city.

Nous avons aimé le riad lui meme avec de belles chambres, une belle terrace pour le petit déjeuner, la qualité des services, la gentillesse du personnel, l'emplacement également du riad et toutes les informations partagées avant notre arrivée, super utile car les riads dans la medina ne sont jamais facile à trouver. Cette fois le personnel du Riad nous ont contacté via whatsapp, et nous ont fourni une video pour les trouver, et toutes les infos utiles pour notre séjour.
Cons: Il y a eu quelques erreurs sur les services selectionnés, par exemple le choix du menu pour le diner et les prestations pour le spa. Mais pas si grave car nous avons tout de même appréciés les soins recus.

Magnifique Riad, typique de Marrakech, on empreinte des petites rues dans la médina, et on ouvre cette porte original. Derrière se trouve un havre de paix, tout de suite on se sens comme "a la maison" un accueil chaleureux par Mohamed le premier jour, après avoir été pris en charge par le taxi maison ( petite charrette pour nos bagages :-) nous voila deja entrain de boire le thé servi tradition. découverte de la chambre et même un petit dej nous a été servi malgré que nous soyons hors service. La classe. Explication de toutes les commodités, des sites de visites, et une prise en main sans faille. Mohamed et Marwa aux petits soins, pour une commande de Taxi, ou une réservation enfin bref. Beaucoup se fait a pieds, et cela malgré la situation du Riad dans une impasse. Mais un calme règne dans cet établissement et cela est plus que plaisant. petit déjeuner en terrasse le matin, chaise longue l après midi, même Abdoul nous accueillait le soir, éteignait la lumière des notre arrivée. et les soins au top, Hammam et Massage. bref que dire de plus. Un endroit a faire, visiter et refaire. Bravo et merci pour l accueil Marwa et Mohamed, et toute l equipe

Ein wunderschönes Riad mitten in der Medina, sehr schöne landestypische Einrichtung. Hammam und Kochkurs können im Hotel gebucht werden - sehr empfehlenswert! Das Frühstück ist ein Traum! Es wird auf der Dachterrasse mit Blick über die Dächer der Medina serviert und lässt keine Wünsche offen. Jeden Tag gibt es etwas anderes, alles köstlich. Besonders aber hervorzuheben ist das Personal, Mohammed und sein Team kümmern sich sehr herzlich um alles.

The staff and service was above and beyond. They are so friendly and helpful. Such a cute Riad in a great location in the Medina close to all the shouks. A big shout out to; Mohamed and Marwa who are always on hand to help, book trips and taxis etc. Also to all the rest of the team particularly Abdul and JouJou who are so kind, helpfuland friendly. The staff make for an excellent stay. The hamaam experience ws also to be enjoyed. Highly recommend a balloon trip which can be booked via the hotel services.

Wir haben den Service Transfer vom Flughafen gebucht, was sehr gut geklappt hat. Da der Taxifahrer nicht bis zum Riad fahren konnte, wurden wir innerhalb der Medina von einem Angestellten des Hotels abgeholt, welcher unser Gepäck bis zum Riad mitten in den verwinkelten Gassen der Medina transportierte. Der Empfang von Mohamed und Marwa war sehr herzlich. Zimmer und Frühstück waren super. Auch das Abendessen war sehr lecker. Die Lage des Riad war sehr zentral aber trotzdem sehr ruhig. In 5 Minuten zu Fuss befand man sich mitten im Souk und auch alle anderen Sehenswürdigkeiten waren zu Fuss gut erreichbar. Wir können das Ambre Epices Riad bestens weiterempfehlen.

Cons: Como punto a mejorar, considero que el precio es algo elevado para lo que ofrece. Aunque es un buen riad, las habitaciones son un poco pequeñas. Además, si bien está en una zona céntrica, hay que tener en cuenta que para llegar es necesario atravesar varios callejones de la medina, lo que puede resultar algo confuso al principio.

Wir (meine Schwägerin) und ich hatten einen absoluten Traum-Miniurlaub im Ambre Epices. Von der Ankunft bis zur Abreise wurden wir umsorgt und verwöhnt; der Transfer zum und vom Hotel hatte uns Marwa organisiert - es klappte hervorragend. Das Frühstück ist besonders hervorzuheben: jeden Morgen frisch zubereitete Köstlichkeiten, sehr appetitlich angerichtet und auf der Rooftop-Terrasse serviert. Jeden Tag gab es etwas anderes, aber immer mit Früchten, Joghurt, salzig und süssen marokkanischen Köstlichkeiten. Eier konnte man noch zusätzlich dazu bestellen. Das Frühstück war sehr umfangreich (wir assen jeweils mittags nur eine Kleinigkeit). Das ganze Riad ist mit Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet und wunderschön dekoriert. Die Zimmer sind sehr ansprechend in marokkanischem Stil eingerichtet und blitzsauber - jeden Tag wurde das Zimmer hervorragend gereinigt. Auch wenn unser Zimmer nicht riesig war (Deluxe Doppelzimmer mit zwei Betten), bot es dennoch genügend Platz und hatte sogar eine kleine Sitzecke. Wir hatten eine zweistündige Spa-Behandlung mit Hamam und Massage gebucht und genossen diesen Moment sehr - es war äusserst erholsam und sowohl Horia, die "Hamam-Frau", wie auch die Masseusen haben einen Superjob gemacht. Kann das Spa-Angebot des Ambre Epices nur empfehlen! Und am wichtigsten: das ganze Personal ist extrem zuvorkommend, hilfsbereit, freundlich und hat immer ein Lächeln im Gesicht. Besonders erwähnen wollen wir Marwa, Mohamed und Karim von der Rezeption - sie machen ihren Job super; der Gast hat bei ihnen Priorität und sie kümmern sich ausgezeichnet um alles und alle. Man merkt, dass sie Spass an ihrer Arbeit haben. Würde dieses Riad all meinen Freunden und Bekannten empfehlen und bei einem nächsten Besuch in Marrakech auf alle Fälle wieder buchen! Danke allen für diesen unvergesslichen Aufenthalt!
Cons: Da gibt es so gut wie nichts zu bemängeln - das Einzige ist vielleicht, dass es nicht genügend Ablagefläche oder Stauraum im Zimmer (Deluxe Zweibettzimmer) gibt (kleiner Schrank mit wenig Fächern zum Kleider einsortieren). Auch im Badezimmer gibt es keine Fächer/Regal und nur wenig Ablagefläche für Kosmetikartikel etc. Das ist aber auch das einzige! Sonst alles top!

Drinking water provided but not commercially bottled. Light from the courtyard shone in all night. Also some soft lighting by the bed for reading would be good.

The property was beautiful - in an exceptional location to explore the medina. It is a little oasis of calm away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The breakfast was lovely each day - fresh and light. The staff go above and beyond to make sure that you are well looked after. They gave us lots of helpful recommendations, sorted the airport transfers, organised a day trip for us and ensure that we had a wonderful time. A special mention for Mohamed and Marwa who particularly went above and beyond.

Wir haben hier einen wunderbaren Urlaub verbracht. Tolles Hotel, wahnsinnig netter Service von Marwa und Mohamed bei allen Fragen rund um den Aufenthalt. Bereist vor Ankunft war die Kommunikation über WhatsApp problemlos, schnell und immer sehr freundlich möglich. So haben wir darüber den Transfer vom Flughafen sowie einen Kochkurs im Hotel gebucht. Die Zimmer sind wunderschön und typisch eingerichtet. Jedes individuell anders und besonders. Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber und werden jeden Tag sehr gut gereinigt. Alle Angestellten sind unglaublich nett und haben immer ein Lächeln im Gesicht. Neben Marwa, Mohammed und Karim möchten wir hier auch unseren Kellner Abdul hervor heben. Er hat uns während des gesamten Aufenthalts immer mit einem Lächeln und dem ein oder anderen Spaß bedient. Das Frühstück ist ausgesprochen gut und jeden Tag etwas anders und wird stets frisch serviert. Auch das Abendessen im Riad können wir sehr empfehlen. Besonders gut gefallen hat uns der Kochkurs im Hotel. Zusammen mit Marwa, Mohammed und Salima hatten wir einen wunderbaren Tag, mit viel Spaß, jeder Menge lachen und ganz viel leckerem Essen. Das gemeinsame einkaufen auf dem Markt vor dem kochen ist ein besonders tolles Erlebnis. Zum Geburtstag meiner Schwiegermutter wurde sie vom Hotel mit Blumen und einer unfassbar leckeren Torte überrascht, inklusive Geburtstagslied. Wir können das Riad nur empfehlen und werden wieder kommen. Herzlichen Dank für alles.

Nous avons passé un séjour de 4 jours incroyable au ryad Ambre et Épices. Le ryad est très agréable et la chambre bien décorée et confortable. Nous avons pris le repas dans le patio le premier soir après une première journée fort remplie, c'était parfait. L'ensemble du personnel était gentil et très serviable (organisation, conseils, transferts,...). Mention spéciale pour le petit déjeuner incroyable servi par Abdul en terrasse : local, copieux, varié, une très belle découverte! Finalement, n'hésitez pas à tester le hammam traditionnel, très différent de ce à quoi on s'attend en tant qu'Européen ;-) Merci pour tout!

If I could give a rating higher than 10, I definitely would. The staff was extremely polite and exceptionally helpful. Mohamed is an outstanding person and excellent at his job — he picked us up, explained everything to us in detail, and took great care of us. The breakfast at the riad was wonderful, even better than in some of the top restaurants in the city. The hammam and massage services were quite good. The location of the accommodation is excellent — very close to everything!"

A very good location in a quieter part of the Medina. Clean rooms and very attentive and kind staff. Even though we had some unexpected issues (not caused by the Riad) and some communication issues during our stay, Mohammed and the staff were always able to sort them out for us and we left feeing that our enjoyment was their number one priority. The food and breakfast were fantastic - as were the recommendations. Thanks to all for a terrific stay.

Also we have enjoyed dinner on our first evening and it was fabulous! As it was really cold outside we were lucky that it was warm in the room we got heater and additional blankets.

Nous n’avons pas mangé sur place car nous pensions qu’il fallait s’inscrire à l’avance, mais les plats avaient l’air délicieux. Nous n’avons pas pu profiter du petit déjeuner (départ à l’aéroport à 8h) mais nous avons reçu un petit lunch à emporter et le transfert nous a été offert. Nous n’avons fait qu’une nuit, mais cela vaudrait la peine de profiter un peu plus de ce lieu superbe !

Het personeel is supervriendelijk en doet echt hun uiterste best om je verblijf zo aangenaam mogelijk te maken. De riad is heel netjes, rustig gelegen en vormt de ideale uitvalsbasis om Marrakech te verkennen. Het ontbijt was bovendien uitmuntend en zeer uitgebreid. The riad is beautifully restored, full of character, and feels like a peaceful oasis right in the heart of the Medina. The courtyard is stunning and incredibly tranquil — stepping through the doors feels like leaving the bustle of Marrakech behind. Our room was tastefully decorated, spacious, and very comfortable, with thoughtful details that made the stay feel special. We also really enjoyed the rooftop terrace, which is ideal for relaxing after a day exploring the city. The overall atmosphere is warm, intimate, and welcoming — it feels more like being hosted in a beautiful private home than staying in a hotel. It truly made our time in Marrakech unforgettable.
Cons: What didn’t we like? Honestly… that we couldn’t pack it up and bring it home with us. If only it were possible to fold the courtyard into our suitcase, take the rooftop sunsets back with us, and reinstall that peaceful Medina atmosphere in our everyday lives. Leaving was genuinely the hardest part — everything else was just perfect.

Breakfast was excellent - a lovely range of food which was varied each day. All of the team were friendly and eager to help in any way. We were amazed how peaceful the riad was - after the chaos of the souks. The riad was an oasis of calm and a lovely place to relax after a day sightseeing.
Cons: there was nothing to dislike - everything was excellent. From the moment we booked to getting into our taxi to return us to the airport everything was excellent.

It's hard for someone British to rate anything as 10/10 but Ambre Epices is exceptional: a beautiful Riad with a courtyard that is evocative of everything that is Moroccan, incredible service and cooking the most amazing food, whether it's at breakfast or for dinner. Everyone did everything they could to make our stay better, whether it was the front of house managers with their responsiveness and advice or the waiting and kitchen staff making sure we had everything we needed.
Cons: I had a minor issue with noise because we were on the top floor and could hear the terrace being set-up for breakfast; but once the staff were aware of the issue they resolved it immediately and took on board the feedback very impressively.

Wow - our suite was absolutely stunning, very big, comfortable and super clean. The breakfast was amazing in a beautiful setting. It was particularly excellent for my partner who is coeliac, the staff were very accommodating providing him with lots of choice and even gluten free breads and cakes. Location was perfect, central and close to everything. Felt very safe, side streets to the riad are all well lit.
Cons: The only comment would be that the pool was a bit chilly as it wasn’t the height of Summer and would have been nice being heated. However, we gave this feedback to the staff and they assured us that they would improve this by turning the heating up!

All of the staff were lovely and the 2 that worked front desk while we were there were Mohamed and Marwa. They really went out of their way to make our stay just perfect and Marwa even went shopping for us, in her own time, when we were unable to find some make up we wanted to buy. What a star! All the staff here are a credit to the riad. The breakfasts each morning were lovely and tasty. Different every day and plenty to eat. We had dinner here one evening which was really tasty. The room we had was lovely. Very traditional and all the inside and outside spaces were just wonderful. We had a hammam there and massage which I would highly recommend and we did 2 of the tours to the Agafay desert and to the Atlas Mountains. Our guide we had Hamza, that we had both days, was so lovely and helpful We really couldn't fault the hotel and would go back there again for sure. The location is also excellent and you can walk to everywhere you need to go from the riad.

Un'esperienza pazzesca nella struttura probabilmente migliore che si possa trovare a Marrakech. All'arrivo, in anticipo rispetto alle aspettative, abbiamo avuto una colazione totalmente gratuita (e fuori dalla prenotazione) ed un upgrade della stanza. Struttura meravigliosa in un'area isolata della Medina. Abbiamo pranzato e cenato qui in maniera sublime. Inoltre, abbiamo provato l'esperienza dello hammam + massaggio: fantastico. Una menzione speciale allo staff della struttura: dalla prima all'ultima persona ci hanno fatto sentire a casa e coccolati!

We love the breakfast. They changed the main course each day. Such a nice vibe to have breakfast at the terrace.1 The hosts (Marewa and Mohamed) are very hospitable. They would serve us with tea each time we ask them about the places we’re going. They check on us during breakfast, and each time we come back from our little tours around the Medina. They’re good with recommendations for food, money exchange and places you can shop for a bargain too. Our check out was at 11:30am. But we’re allowed to use the facility until 3:30pm, until we could take our taxi to the train station. They even assisted us with using a room to do ablution and pray. We REALLY appreciate and grateful for their service. There’s a spa provided in the riad. However, we did not have time to use it. The riad would help you with your luggage. Abdurrahmen would be taking the luggage to the nearby taxi stand. He’s super helpful. They have a dedicated wheel barrow for this purpose. Such a good way to manoeuvre the narrow alleys.
Cons: This is what we think could be improved. As we informed the Riad, they may need to add more hot / warm meal during winter. Riads in Chefchaouen and Tangier provided more hot / warm meal during our stays there. The toiletries (shampoo, bath gel , lotion) were put in glass bottles. I think they could change that. In winter, the floor tend to be cold, as it’s made of cement. So a thin rug may help, as they do not have floor heating. If they could install a bidet in the toilet, it would be perfect.

The staff is the real point of difference of the Riad: Marwa and Mohammed has been amazing! The helped us through the entire staying with suggestions, recommendations and always a warmth smile! They are the key of the Riad. We truly enjoyed spending our time with them! furthermore the Riad mixes a characteristic style with a modern taste. Breakfast on the terrace was various and different every day with a top quality food! Really well done and suggested!

The accommodation is in Moroccan style, the staff is very attentive to all requests, good breakfast.
Cons: I can't say that I didn't like it, it's just that you have to be prepared for accommodation in a specifically Moroccan area, with narrow streets (like a maze) and a lot of hustle and bustle (many merchants) near the hotel. However, it took us very little to get settled in and we felt safe while we stayed there (even if there were days when we arrived at 2 a.m.)

Beautiful property! Lovely rooftop. Excellent and welcoming staff who made our stay warm and comfortable. Staff went above and beyond to ensure we had a wonderful stay. They accommodated an early check-in for us since our flight landed early, connected us to a really good local guide, and pampered us with their wonderful cuisine. After checking out, we had accidentally taken the room keys with us - they were very patient and never made us feel bad about this snafu - we were able to return it to them upon our return to Marrakech. A big shout-out to Marwa at the reception - a very kind hostess who made our stay very pleasant. I highly recommend this property and this team.

Une immersion totale dans la Médina et les valeurs propres à Marrakech. L’ensemble du personnel a été d’une gentillesse et d’une disponibilité sans égal nous concernant, sachant que nous étions avec notre bébé de 9 mois. Nous en garderons un souvenir impérissable. Aussi bien la propreté des chambres et du Riad en général, que la diversité et la qualité du petit-déjeuner (et des repas du soir, mention spéciale au couscous Royal), tout fut parfait et adapté pour nous. The most attentive staff you're likely to meet, nothing was too much trouble. We split our stay with a break to the sahara in-between. The hotel kept our cases for us and they were ready in our room when we returned. We ate in for two evenings, the food was excellent. My wife used the spa, very reasonably priced and professional. I'd definitely return here if I return to marrakech and I'd recommend to family and friends if they were to visit.

Il Riad si trova nella Medina, nel quartiere di Dar El Bacha, la zona più elegante della città vecchia. Per raggiungerlo si attraversano vicoletti affascinanti e suggestivi. Gli ambienti sono arredati con grande gusto, un equilibrio perfetto tra elementi tradizionali marocchini e dettagli di design contemporaneo. All’arrivo siamo stati accolti dal rituale del tè alla menta. Il patio è meraviglioso, intimo e scenografico, così come il rooftop dove viene servita l’ottima colazione. La camera era splendida, dotata di tutto il necessario e curata in ogni dettaglio. Una chicca che abbiamo amato: il camino acceso la sera, davanti al quale gustare una tazza di tè in totale relax. Come per tutti i Riad della Medina, non è possibile arrivare il macchina. Il taxi vi lascerà sulla strada principale dalla quale il Riad dista due minuti a piedi. Lo staff è giovane, gentile, sempre sorridente e disponibile. Se dovessi tornare a Marrakech, sceglierei senza dubbio di soggiornare ancora qui.

Ci hanno regalato una carta sim marocchina per non avere problemi con il telefono. Un particolare grazie a Mohamed per la sua disponibilità, ci ha dato anche un video per non perderci nel dedalo di stradine per arrivare al Riad. Brave anche le ragazze della Spa dove abbiamo fatto 2 volte il massaggio di coppia. Lo consigliamo .....la suite sul tetto stupenda!!! Ottimo anche il servizio trasporto bagagli per arrivare ai taxi.

Riad stupendo! La camera era bella, curata e molto accogliente. Il personale è super attento e cordiale: appena arrivate ci hanno offerto un tè di benvenuto, gesto davvero apprezzato. Prima del nostro arrivo ci hanno anche contattate con informazioni utilissime su Marrakech (eSIM, cambio soldi, consigli pratici), e in loco erano sempre disponibili ad aiutarci ad organizzare attrazioni ed escursioni. Alla partenza ci hanno persino omaggiato il servizio di trasferimento per l’aeroporto: davvero un’attenzione speciale. Abbiamo provato anche hammam e massaggio ed è stata un’esperienza splendida. Era la mia prima volta con l’hammam e non sapevo cosa aspettarmi, ma lei è stata bravissima e delicata: sono uscita completamente rigenerata. Molto bello anche il massaggio, unica piccola pecca la temperatura della stanza, faceva un po’ freddo. La colazione servita in terrazza è spettacolare e molto abbondante, un vero piacere svegliarsi così. Consigliatissimo!

Una volta entrati dalla porticina ci si trova in un luogo meraviglioso, il Riad è proprio bello curato nei particolari e di gran gusto estetico.Abbiamo dormito in una stanza grande, bella e soprattutto pulita e profumata. Il letto super comodo come anche la doccia. Nonostante sia praticamente al centro e vicinissimo a tutte le nel Riad non si sentono rumori. Lo staff ti accoglie con molta professionalità e gentilezza stando sempre a disposizione per qualsiasi necessità. La colazione è veramente TOP, molto varia e tutto molto buono.

The riad had the perfect balance between traditional charm and modern comfort. From the moment we checked in, the staff made us feel completely taken care of. They offered plenty of helpful information and recommendations for things to do nearby in Marrakesh, and even gave us a lovely tour of the property while explaining all the amenities. Our room was stunning — beautifully decorated, spotless, and designed with a state-of-the-art vibe. There was also plenty of storage space, which was perfect since I was traveling with my partner. The location of the property is excellent — it’s situated right in the heart of the Medina, close to many shops, cafés, and restaurants, making it an ideal base for exploring Marrakesh. While it’s a bit of a walk from where taxis usually stop, the riad goes the extra mile — if you let them know your arrival time, they’ll gladly send someone to meet you and help with your luggage, which makes the arrival smooth and stress-free. Breakfast, which was included in the room rate, exceeded our expectations. It offered a delicious variety of dishes with a Moroccan twist. The team truly went above and beyond — they even arranged a free airport transfer since we couldn’t stay the full day, which was such a thoughtful gesture. The staff checked in with us the next morning to make sure everything was perfect and genuinely cared about our feedback. It’s rare to find such attentive and kind hospitality. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend this riad to anyone visiting Marrakesh!

Top Lage, um die Medina zu erkunden und trotzdem ruhig. Das Personal ist extrem zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit. Wir buchten den Transport ab Flughafen zum Riad direkt durch das Riad Ambre Epices. Am Rande der Medina wurden wir abgesetzt und wurden bereits von einem Mitarbeiter des Riads empfangen, der sich gleich um unser Gepäck kümmerte. Das Essen, Abendessen und Frühstück, war hervorragend. Nach einem hektischen Nachmittag in der Medina, genossenen einen ruhigen Abend im Innenhof unseres Riads bei einer köstlichen Tajine.

This is a small Riad and with a relaxed but intimate atmosphere.The staff were all excellent and could not have been more helpful and friendly.The Riad is beautifully furnished throughout and smells glorious,the rooms are comfortable with a few flourishes.The bathroom was large and had a large walk in shower and stone sink.The breakfast provided was served on the lovely roof terrace and was different every day with fantastic Moroccan pastries,fruit yoghurt,choice of eggs fresh juice etc.There are lovely spots throughout to sit and chill and the small pools and internal waterfall were relaxing. We would gladly say here again.?The location in the medina in the old town near to the souk was perfect.There was a small spa and a good range of spa treatments.Those we had were also excellent.

The property itself was absolutely beautiful, a nestled little gem with a traditional Moroccan style. The room was stayed in was equally as stunning, with a massive chandelier and a huge shower. Located right in the Medina, it made exploring the city so easy as you could walk to any of the main attractions. However, the absolute highlight of the trip were the staff. They went above and beyond in making sure you were comfortable, with a focus on delivering the best that they could and answering your any needs. We did a day excursion that they organised and it was fantastic, as well as an in-house Hammam that was super relaxing. We highly recommend this place!

Wir haben vier unvergessliche Tage im Riad Ambre Epices Medina in Marrakesch verbracht – und wären am liebsten länger geblieben. Schon beim Ankommen spürt man: Dies ist ein besonderer Ort. Mitten in der Medina gelegen, nur zu Fuß erreichbar, entfaltet sich eine authentische Atmosphäre wie aus 1001 Nacht. Der Innenhof mit Pool ist eine Augenweide, unser Zimmer geräumig, das Bad schlichtweg phänomenal. Das Herzstück dieses Riads ist das Personal: freundlich, zuvorkommend, hilfsbereit und mit einer Herzenswärme, wie wir sie in einem Hotel noch nie erlebt haben. Man fühlt sich sofort willkommen und bestens aufgehoben. Ein absolutes Highlight war das Frühstück: abwechslungsreich, frisch und liebevoll zubereitet. Selbstgemachtes Joghurt, der wohl leckerste Orangensaft unseres Lebens, frisch gebackenes Brot, Pancakes, Marmeladen, Wurst, Eier nach Wunsch (Spiegelei, Rührei, hartgekocht) – alles frisch serviert. Auch der Kaffee war ausgezeichnet. Nichts wirkte standardisiert, sondern einzigartig und mit Leidenschaft gemacht. Das Riad ist der perfekte Ausgangspunkt, um die Souks und Sehenswürdigkeiten Marrakeschs zu Fuß zu erkunden – und zugleich eine Oase der Ruhe, sobald man zurückkehrt. Wir haben selten ein Haus erlebt, das so viel Charme, Gastfreundschaft und Authentizität vereint. Das Einzige, was wir bedauern: dass wir nicht länger bleiben konnten. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Absolute Empfehlung – wir kommen wieder!

The staff were helpful and polite and rooms were very nice and comfortable. The location is good, very close to the market but not on a busy or loud street. The breakfast was very good and served on the roof which was very nice.
Cons: The air conditioning unit was very loud and not the best, if you book excursions through the Riad you’ll pay around THREE times as much as through an agent.

Always anxious visiting new places but this was very quickly changed by the warmth and reception we received- it was as if we were family. What amazing hosts in a spectacular building. Absolutely every aspect from welcome, room, food, decor, hammam, all staff and tour information and guide supplied were superb. Maryam and Karim contacted me in advance to ensure our short stay was exactly what we needed- very impressive way to run a business -so delighted to have found a true gem.

The Riad is absolutely beautiful. The interior of our room is stunning, especially the bathroom with its massive bathtub. Breakfast is decent. The staff are absolutely helpful and generous with important information upon our arrival. Highly recommended.
Cons: Perhaps just a precaution to not expect so much from the pool. It is small and in the middle of the riad , sadly the reception staff has a table next to it, so it takes a bit the privacy to use the pool. Hence, small tip to maybe not put the reception table there.

Tutto benissimo consigliato per soggiornare a Marrakech. Noi abbiamo dormito 3 notti durante un tour del Marocco insieme alla nostra bimba di 3 anni. I bambini sono ben accolti. Staff disponibile per ogni esigenza domanda e curiosità. Pulizia top. Rooftop fantastico dove fare la colazione. Posizione buona la Place Jemaa el-Fnaa si trova a 20 minuti a piedi, ma il Riad è in una posizione strategica dentro alla Medina vicina a tutti i punti di interesse principali in una via molto tranquilla. Anche i Giardini di Majorelle si possono tranquillamente visitare a piedi da Riad in 20 minuti. Consigliato.

The staff was amazing, especially Nada who was always helpful and attentive. Karim was also very kind and friendly. The riad is beautifully decorated with great taste, perfectly located in the heart of the Medina. The traditional Moroccan breakfast was delicious, and they even helped us with currency exchange. They organized all the activities for us at very good prices. We truly felt at home.

From the moment we walk out of the Airport, we were greeted by our driver (that was arranged prior by the Riad staff). Once we arrived at the destination another staff was there waiting to accompany us to the Riad. Once arrived there we were welcomed by Mohamed with a nice cold drink and some traditional sweets. He took the time to present the Riad and give us information about the surroundings. The Riad and our room was very well presented, clean and had everything you could ask for. We are very grateful to have met Nada and Mohamed. They were always there to accommodate us with anything that we needed and made sure that we were comfortable during our stay. They arranged our tour, dinner, hammam, airport transfers, etc. They could not do more to make us feel comfortable and welcomed. The Moroccan meals that we were served made our trip even more authentic and we really appreciate that is was cooked fresh on the premises every day. A huge thank you to Mouhcine, who was serving all our meals and special coffee and tea during the day and he was very pleasant and funny. The Riad is located at 2 minutes walk from the Royal Palace and the Souks, in the center of Medina and 10 minutes walk from the main market. Overall, we had an amazing experience and looking forward to go back. Thank you to all the fantastic staff at Riad Ambre Epices - Medina!!!

Riad magnifique avec une décoration tres soignée et tres élégante dans tous les détails. Les 2 petits bassins sont magnifiques , propre et très agréables apres une journée de canicule. Il y a plusieurs espaces sur la terrasse avec une vue sur la medina tres bien décorée (bains de soleil, lit baldaquin,...) . L emplacement assez proche de l entrée de la medina permet de sortir facilement de la medina et de tout visiter a pied (place jemaa el fna a 15mn). Le staff est tres chaleureux et aidant (merci a Nada et Mohamed ) . J etais seule avec mes 2 enfants et ils ont été tres sympa avec eux . Le petit déjeuner marocain etait tres varié et excellent (msemen, salade de fruits frais avec yaourt et muesli, pain , oeufs brouillé ..... ) . Nous avons aussi déjeuné et dîné sur place (brioutes, salades marocaines, pastillas de poulet ...) c- etait tres bon. J ai testé également les prestations Hamman rituel marocain , le massage relaxant , la pedicure et le massage "princesse " pour ma fille de 9 ans . Excellentes prestations ! Mohamed m a permis de visiter les suites pour mon prochain séjour avec mon mari car je veux absoluement revenir avec lui !.

Staff were so friendly and helpful, the Riad was very relaxed and in a good location just on the fringe of the medina/souks. Big thanks to Meryem and Nada in particular for being so accommodating during our stay. All in walking distance to the busiest parts of the medina and the Jardin Majorelle. Food was great but also check out Cafe Janaat on the route to the Riad if you’re staying here. My friend had a Hammam/Massage and said it was brilliant too.

From the moment my daughter and I arrived at this Riad, I knew we were in for something special. I've stayed in many hotels around the world, but this one stands out as one of the most wonderful experience I've ever had. The customer service was simply exceptional, genuine, attentive and thoughtful at every level. The team went above and beyond in every interaction with warm smiles, their care felt very sincere and personal. Communication was seamless, whether in person or through WhatsApp. The Riad itself was immaculate. Spotlessly clean from top to bottom with beautifully maintained common spaces that felt both luxurious and comfortable. The attention to detail in the decor and cleanliness made it feel like a peaceful retreat, an oasis in the heart of the old city. Breakfast was a delight served on the upper level with a view of the Atlas Mountains in the distance. We couldn't have asked for more with a good selection of fruit, pastries and eggs to order. What truly set this Riad apart though, was the heart behind everything they did. It never felt at any time like a business transaction, it felt like we were welcomed into a home by people who genuinely cared about our stay. I can't recommend this place enough. O chá de menta e os bolos com que nos receberam e a explicação sobre a cidade de Marraquexe valorizaram a nossa chegada. Todas as indicações para termos a melhor estadia foram dadas, de forma honesta e humilde. O conforto do quarto e a limpeza do riad eram exemplares. A sua beleza condizentes com as melhores ideias que tinhamos de um riad. O pequeno almoço e a simpatia dos que nos atenderam foram gratifcantes. Um de nós experimentou o hammam e a massagem relaxante, o que se tornou não só numa vivência tipica de Marrocos mas também numa experiência única! Não podiamos deixar de referir a sua localização e o caminho para chegar ao riad, que apesar de ser dentro da medina, implica sair para voltar a entrar mas por breves minutos, quando queremos ir ao centro, mas que se torna numa experiência compensadora pelos locais que passamos. Este Riad está recomendadissimo por nós para quem quiser ter uma boa experiência em Marraquexe :)

Het ontvangst was vriendelijk en uitgebreid. Tijd om vragen te stellen en kregen een fijne uitleg. Vervolgens een upgrade naar een prachtige kamer. Hele Riad ziet er keurig uit. Personeel is erg vriendelijk en vliegt letterlijk voor je.

Hippe Location, Personal hat uns bei Ankunft sofort SIM Karten organisiert und uns ein Tipps für die kommenden Tage gegeben. Das Frühstück war sehr gut. Man konnte es draußen auf der Dachterrasse einnehmen. Zimmer waren auch sehr schön. Insgesamt haben wir uns wohl gefühlt.
Cons: Am Tag vor der Abreise habe ich einer Mitarbeiterin des Riads, die sich uns als Managerin vorgestellt hat, mitgeteilt, dass wir am nächsten Tag um 08:30 Uhr abreisen müssen und gefragt, ob wir noch ein kleines Frühstück bekommen. Sie hat gesagt, das sei überhaupt kein Problem. Am nächsten Morgen wusste niemand Bescheid. Auch war kein Check out um diese Zeit nicht möglich. Es entstand dadurch eine sehr unangenehme Situation zwischen einem Mitarbeiter und uns. Das hat meinen Eindruck vom Riad leider sehr getrübt. Der Riad wird von sehr jungen Leuten geführt, die gerne mit dir reden. Aber im Endeffekt dann nicht auffindbar und nicht in der Lage, Informationen an die Belegschaft weiterzugeben. Ebenso hat die Abholung vom Taxi bei unserer Ankunft nicht funktioniert, obwohl wir vorher wie vereinbart angerufen haben.

J’ai beaucoup apprécié le personnel qui était très accueillant. L’emplacement était top et les chambres étaient d’un grand confort. Je vous recommande le dîner au Riad qui est fait maison et un vrai délice pour les papilles.
Cons: Dommage que les chambres ne soient pas équipés d’un mini frigo.

Het personeel is super vriendelijk en behulpzaam, hebben voor ons de kamer versiert en een romantische lunch geregeld voor de verjaardag van mijn vrouw. Ook vragen ze realistische prijzen voor services zoals taxi naar het vliegveld, massages, etc. Dit is niet bij elke Riad in Marakkesh het geval. De locatie is goed, de Riad zelf ziet er geweldig uit - alsof je in een paradijsje bent belandt midden in Marakkesh!
Cons: Ik hou persoonlijk van zachtere bedden, de bedden hier waren wat aan de harde kant.

Sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet, der Besitzer hat auch noch ein Designhotel in Tulum/Mexiko.
Cons: Lage ist nahe an der Medina, jedoch die Anreise mit eigenen PKW sehr mühsam, da die angegebene und auch die von Google Maps empfohlene Adresse leider nicht stimmt. Die Unterkunft ist versteckt im Gassengewirr der Medina und nur nach langem Fußmarsch und mit viel Fragen nach dem Weg erreichbar. Es gibt auch keine Hinweisschilder und das Riad ist nicht mal wenn man dann tatsächlich vor der Tür steht gekennzeichnet.
