This truly felt like the gateway to the Sahara - the sand dunes literally come up to the edge of the hotel (literally closer than some of the luxury camps!) and the views of the Sahara are absolutely incredible. Admiring the desert while swimming in the pool? Yes please! The hotel is on the rustic side, but felt very authentic to the desert. Breakfast was included and the selection was great. Although we did not eat dinner here, we did hear from our travel companions that it was a bit underwhelming for the price - so may be good to have backup options. We booked a separate camel trek so did not use the hotel for excursions but there were lots to choose from. Would recommend (worth it for the views alone!)

From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The staff was incredibly professional, welcoming, and always ready to help with a smile. Every detail was taken care of, making us feel relaxed and well looked after. The adventures we had were absolutely unforgettable , each day was filled with excitement and discovery. And let’s talk about the view from the room and the swimminpool … simply breathtaking. the scenery was picture-perfect and left us speechless every time and also.how quiet and peaceful isthe place . If you're planning to visit the Merzouga Desert, Kanz Erremal Hotel is absolutely the best option. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful, they assisted us with everything we needed. Also they organised the best excursions around the desert and towns. While enjoying a peaceful day by the swimming pool, you also get to take in the spectacular views of the desert it’s truly unforgettable. I 100% recommend this experience so much that I’m already planning to go back next year!

I had a wonderful stay at Kanz Erremal! The view from the hotel is absolutely stunning — especially the back view that opens directly to the sand dunes. It truly felt like a peaceful escape into the heart of the desert. The staff made the experience even better. A big thank you to Khadija, Ayoub, Mouha, Abdrezak, and Hassan — each one of them was warm, welcoming, and always ready to help with a smile. Their hospitality made us feel at home.

We were 4 friends and had 2 nights stay, literally they are charging you +-200$ per night for their Swimming pool, everything else is bad. The staff is not supportive and very negative people, Sahara Desert and they don't offer any water at all. The charged us 20dh/2€ for water bottle many times because we had no option in the desert . THE AC was on for 24 hour straight and it wasn’t cooling so we had to clean the filters by ourselves.

C’est établissements est un attrape touristes ! RIEN NE VA ! Nous avons ignorés tous les mauvais avis concernant cet établissement mais croyez moi, ils sont véridiques et non pas subjectifs. Ca été une horreur ! Le personnel est désagréable, je suis moi même Marocaine et ça m’a CHOQUÉ de vivre ce genre d’accueil au Maroc. Tout ce qu’on demandait avait l’air de les ennuyer, ils sont pas accueillant du tout, ne dise même pas bonjour. Nous avons choisi cet établissement également car leur site annonce qu’il propose une nuitée dans les tentes au déserts dans un certains standing mais nous avons eu droit à une expérience à la hauteur du désastre de cet établissement. Le petit déjeuner est HORRIBLE et pas du tout quali. La piscine n’est pas entretenue et est de couleur verte à en salir les maillots. Là climatisation dans la chambre fait un bruit d’avion et fuit au point où vous aurez les pieds dans l’eau. Franchement FUYEZ

We had such a lovely stay despite the heat 🥵 Room was comfortable and glad the AC was working because we had extremely hot days. Food was great too!! It was Friday so they made us couscous and to be honest, it was the best we tried during our month in Morocco. The pool is refreshing and it has a gorgeous view over the dunes. There is a cool terrace on the first floor where you can enjoy the landscape while sipping some tea. Thanks for having us and for the great stay!

We really love the ambiance especially the pool with the saharas was just in the front. We love the amenities and were our room is located Some of the staff are nice but we noticed while we are relaxing outside at eating breakfast they kept on looking on us like we are not allowed to be free.. The room was spacious and unique but not enough light. The toilet set is moving when we are urinating and doing no 2. We are disappointed with the dinner. Was too expensive for just a basic appetizer and the dessert was plane banan, apple and dry orange juice with no presentation at all that why all the guest who had the dinner with us didn’t touch the fruits they served.

A small, comfortable desert hotel with good rooms, excellent food, a swimming pool with views, friendly people. I wanted to see the sea of dunes in the desert. It's beautiful!. And this hotel, so integrated into the landscape, so little artificial, but with the comforts of a good hotel!. Delicious food, swimming in the pool with the dunes right next to it!. Having tea "feeling" the silence of the desert. A friendly, nice staff, comfortable rooms!. Excursions to discover the surroundings!. What peace, what relaxation, what adventure! Oohhh I'll be back

It was a really bad experience! The owner of the hotel is rude and aggressive. We were charged for the breakfast even though it was included. Staff cannot speak English which makes communication difficult. However, the owner is the worst and rudest of them all. We wanted to spend the afternoon on the hotel facilities after having checked out. We were nearly screamed at that we have to leave the property as we have already checked out. The hotel has not been full, nor were a lot of people inside of the hotel. It was a really uncomfortable and unprofessional situation. We will definitely never stay at this property again.

Wir hatten erholsame Tage in der wunderschönen Unterkunft. Das Essen war super, man sollte nur darauf achten, dass man das Mittagessen nach dem Frühstück am besten vorbestellt. Die Zimmer waren sauber. Der Blick zur Wüste ist einmalig.

I was there with a group and we all thought it was a great place. The view on the sand dunes was to die for, the swimming pool was gorgeous, the rooms were large, comfortable and beautiful, the staff did everything to make us feel comfortable, the food was very tasty. Thank you Hassan and all others, you and the hotel are a precious memory of our tour!

Perfect location to enjoy the amazing desert views! The view from the pool is truly breathtaking. We spent early morning to night outside by the pool or in the 2nd floor balcony by our room just admiring the view. The staff was so welcoming and helpful, they made our stay so great. There is only one set dinner option every night and it is served either inside or outside and everyone is eating at once. The portions are huge and everything we ate for our whole trip was delicious. For lunch you can order easy food, like sandwiches, fries & fruit. You can walk out into the dunes directly from the hotel and can also book a sunset camel ride right at the front desk. Please remember that you are in nature in the desert so there are going to be bugs and sand is going to be blowing and get everywhere, that is just part of the experience! I definitely recommend staying at least 2 nights just to spend it at the hotel, if you are going out and doing tours I would stay longer. This is truly a once in a lifetime place to stay, you will not regret it!

Hôtel très bien situé à la porte d’entrée du Sahara. La piscine est superbe, ce qui crée un effet hors du commun de se baigner dans une piscine sur le bord du désert. Hamed, le gérant de l’hôtel est très sympathique. Des rénovations sont à faire, ainsi que l’entretien de la verdure pour garder l’hôtel dans un bon état.

We loved our stay it is much better than the pictures show, staff was so friendly and accommodating that we extended our stay for two more nights. We also took a camel excursion over night and they let us keep our bags in our room for free one night while away. I would recommend this to my family and friends to visit. What a view of the Dunes from the pools and roof top deck!!

I LOVE this hotel. The beds are comfortable. The rooms are cool. The shower is great. The pool is lovely. The sand dunes are right there, just outside the door, and they are so incredible. We did have a few negatives - the front desk did not help with coordinating a camel ride and was not helpful in figuring out how/where to meet the guide, but thankfully he tracked us down and it all worked out. One couple in our group had to wait because their room had not been cleaned. The food was not the best I’ve had in Morocco, but it was okay. But the location makes up for everything and the room was just so comfortable, it’s hard to care about those other details. Definitely stay here!

Das Personal an sich war nett und freundlich. Jedoch war die Dame an der Rezeption etwas unfreundlich. Das Frühstück war sehr begrenzt und wenig und für den Preis erwartet man mehr. Die Einfahrt stelle ich mir auch schöner vor.

The pool is a a delight and for that reason we would return to stay here. It was wonderful to be able to swim and relax whilst looking over the desert. The hotel itself is fine but needs some TLC in the rooms although this wasn't a deal-breaker. The staff were very helpful. Breakfast wasn't great compared to everywhere else we stayed.

Fabulous few nights. The staff was very attentive and accommodating. The meals were custom ordered and excellent quality. The location cannot be beat – the pool is beautiful albeit too cold to enjoy. They tried hard to make us feel comfortable and feel welcomed. Covid has taken a huge chunk out of the gem that this place could be, but I am glad we visited. I would recommend it to anyone.

A parte externa do hotel é realmente linda, mas os quartos decepcionam, a limpeza deixa muito a desejar, as toalhas duras que nem pedra, roupas de cama mal conservadas, pelo valor da diária não deveria estar nesses estado, é uma pena, afinal a estrutura deles tem tudo de privilegiado, na boca do deserto! A recepcionista foi a única pessoa gente boa de todo hotel!

Emplacement idéal au pied des dunes. Superbe vue depuis la terrasse et la piscine. Chambre au confort plutôt rudimentaire (literie, sdb) et qui est aurait besoin d’être rafraîchie (murs franchement abîmés, étagère et porte serviettes cassés). La cuisine mérite aussi d’être améliorée (pizza et sandwich au menu standard, dîners marocains très basiques dont un couscous sans sauce des plus secs...). Allez-y pour la localisation, la vue, la piscine mais pas pour les prestations de l’hôtel.

The room would have been great if the AC would have worked. We complained about it and were told it’s our fault for pushing other buttons and the response was “we’ll fix it for the next customers”. August is extremely hot, and sounds like other guest had the sameness problem.

Ok so my mother had a problem - the sheets were not as white as she would have liked. She was fuming and stomping around up until I kicked her out to the pool. Problem solved. It beats everything. THAT POOL (we were there alone ... so extra peaceful and serene) is one of THE best highlights of Morocco. The dunes are right there. Run into the dunes then hop back over to the pool .. mint tea that was basically on tap did not hurt either. Dinner was wonderful as was the service - I am vegan and that was accommodated with no issues or hickups. Would stay again any day! Great hotel.

This hotel has the Erg Chebbi dunes in its backyard. You can’t get any closer without a tent. Very professional, polite, and knowledgeable staff who set me up with a tour of the dunes and prepared very good local meals. This is a place to stay in for the experience. FYI everything in the desert is very dusty, nothing can be done about it. Bring slippers or sandals.

La camera era molto pulita ampia e accogliente, nonostante fosse una camera standard. Colazione a buffet nella media. Personale molto gentile. Impagabile la vista fronte deserto! In pratica basta uscire dal salone dell'hotel e sei nella sabbia del deserto! Unico neo è l'acqua della piscina che non è molto pulita.

Hotel is conveniently placed in front of the dunes. If you come to see the dunes, this is the place to stay, don't expect 5stars accommodation though, its the desert.

L'hôtel est isolé, mais vraiment au bord des dunes, la piscine au top. L'accueil est désastreux, oubliez le "bienvenue" et les explications, même poser des questions semble les embêter... le petit dej est en buffet mais vraiment pas bon ; les snacks et repas sont corrects. Leur excursion dans le désert en revanche est vraiment sympa. Préférez peut être une auberge.

選擇這間酒店唯一的原因是為了沙漠景的泳池。正如預期，除左個泳池，其他方面都好一般。泳池的水是綠色的。我地房間的冷氣是完全不冷的，只有風。朋友因為又熱又乾完全睡不了，我因為太累還是能夠入睡。床是有沙的，我是早上睡醒了才發現（真的太累），朋友覺得身癢癢的。食物要等很久很久很久！叫了一杯咖啡等到忘記了自己叫了；午餐等了二小時多，變下午茶。職員都有一種懶洋洋的態度（可能是太熱？）。沙漠團正常。有免費merzouga接送。所以如果是很想很想很想在沙漠前游泳才住這間吧。

Staff extremely rude too busy smoking their hookah on the patio to be bothered. Breakfast was stail. No Wifi as advertised. No ability to accept credit card as equipment was down. Housekeeper actually picked dirty towels from floor and re folded them! My husband is from Merzouga and we travel a lot. We are not complainers, this place WAS outrageous.
