Great stay! Nothing to complain about. Hotel is peaceful away from the hustle of Marrakesh. The service is excellent, all the staff are very nice. The food is very good and varied. The city centre shuttle is useful to go to the city centre.

Un directeur de la restauration peu a l’écoute des clients suite à un déconvenue , séjour excessivement cher rapport qualité / prix ! Un buffet pour manger identique tous les jours , les plats froids , restaurant italien idem . On a connu bien mieux sur Marrakech , on déconseille !

Vi fikk et stort, fint og stille rom med utsikt mot flott bassengområde. Sluket i dusjen fungerte litt dårlig, litt slitt og flekkete teppe, ellers var rommet rent og ryddig. Litt harde senger. Veldig bra frokost! Hadde middagsbuffet 2 dager, den var dyr og lite variert. Personalet var hyggelige og serviceinnstilt. Hotellet lå i fine omgivelser litt utenfor byen, med tilbud om shuttelbuss til sentrum flere ganger om dsgen på dagtid.

Great stay. Nice clean hotel. My single critique is personally do not like cats. They are generally very common in Morocco but I did not feel comfortable eating breakfast and a cat strolling in. Not much thought was taken when I raised this as staff they should accommodate all guests. The food was tasty it included lamb and chicken . We requested a quiet room and we were given one which was great. King size beds are large spacious and extremely comfy. We had the best sleep. I think the hotel can work on the lighting in the rooms as it’s not great. I would like to shout out Mustafah, Abdulla and all the bar staff they were absolutely fantastic!! So accommodating and friendly to see every night at the bar. Thanks all. Overall good stay.

It was difficult if you don’t speak french , because all the staff doesn’t speak English and the service is very slow and it doesn’t feel like a 5 star it feels more like a 3 star resort, 150 pounds for a night its not worth if you a want a drink u need to order yourself on the bar, hardly any table service and they took 2 hours just to get ice ,when we ordered through room service.

The Hotel is good and great location. Golfcourse in good shape and not very busy. The service was slow like everywhere else in Marrakesh. Nikki beach was closed which was a disappointment that the Hotel didn’t inform us in advance.

Très bon séjour à hôtel de golf. La chambre, le personnel, la nourriture, la piscine ... Quand on regarde de près, on voit qu'il serait temps de faire un petit rafraichissement - mais le contexte (covid surtout) explique cela. L'hôtel Palmeraie Palace a côté à une réception magnifique mais est en train d'être refaite et le bar et restaurants sont fermés.

Se trouvant à l'extérieure de la ville, c'est très calme et agréable pour un repos. Prévoir un budget taxi si vous comptez aller tous les jours en ville. L'hôtel est très joli, cependant le service ne vaut pas un 5*. J'ai été surpris du peu de personnel, la piscine est sous dimensionné (certe nous sommes dans le désert), les transats sont vraiment collés les uns aux autres. Pas de serviette sur les transats, vous devez allez les chercher au "box" et dès 15H on nous dit qu'il n'y en a plus... La chambre est assez jolie avec des lits très confortables, nous avons eu un problème avec la douche, pas vraiment propre et un mauvais écoulement dû au sol pas assez incliné ce qui entraine une stagnation de l'eau de la douche (voir photos). On nous réponds qu'ils ne "peuvent rien faire"... heureusement que notre séjour était court. Le buffet est juste correct, mais on est très bien accueilli aux différents restaurants et on y mange très bien. La clientèle, familiale, est bonne. Notre séjour en générale était agréable. Je n'y retournerai pas, je préférerai aller dans un autre 5*.

The hotel rooms were modern and spacious, the breakfast excellent everything you could think of and more and staff really attentive. Amazing spa with indoor pool as a still chilly to brave even the heated outdoor pool. Golf club and facilities were great and shuttle bus to and from downtown great service which was needed as taxi charges are much to high even a 5 mins ride to supermarket was a scam. Room for improvements; vacuum room carpet required at least every couple of days and thorough cleaning in between guests like skirting boards, automatic air freasherner required in down stairs corridor as a bit smelly and a later return of shuttle bus in evening as 6.30 early. Overall we had a lovely time and wouid return again and recommend to friends

Comfortable room and bed if a little dated. Very quiet. Pool area is decent. Breakfast choice good. It’s a little of town but good value considering this. Gym and spa is a good 8-10minute walk away but one of the better hotel gyms I’ve experienced.

Stayed four nights in total, seriously disappointing service for the price charged by this hotel. Reception just didn’t want to know if you had an issue consistently just fobbed you off or redirected me to other parts of the hotel when they should be taking ownership. On site restaurants have very poor service , La Brassiere took two hours to serve food, not acceptable. The bar is horrendously expensive. The only good point was that the breakfast was included and is excellent. In summary spend your money elsewhere , you’ll get a better deal and a better service.

They advertised a free shuttle to the city center that only comes a few times per day, it's not inconvenient, and they would not let me travel with my duffel bag on the city center shuttle to tour the city. Even after assuring me that I could take the shuttle, the shuttle driver would not let me board, which wasted my morning in Marrakesh and was inconvenient. What was worse was not that I couldn't access the free shuttle, but the way the staff handled the situation - little knowledge, conflicting information, and at the end of the day could have at least offered assistance with a taxi.

It was my fourth stay at this hotel. However this time it was really bad! The hotel was overbooked and we endup the worst service ever. The main is that they gave us a room that very far from the lobby with an automatic lock at the door that never worked. I had to walk back to the lobby to redo the key and it never worked. So I had to wait for a manager to come with us and open the door. They never offered to change our room even with this issue. Our stay was so frustrating that we decided to leave for another hotel without spending our last night that was already paid.

I stayed at this hotel for a week during a conference in September 2017. It was a telecoms industry conference with over 1000 attendees (not all staying at Hotel du Golf), and I think the staff just were not able to manage the crowd. At breakfast in the morning, you had to constantly ask for new place settings with cutlery and napkins; there was obvious preference to whom would be served and who had to fetch their own tea and coffee; the staff were rather unfriendly, bordering on being rude - especially the males. The rooms were ok, not very well soundproofed so one could hear everything in the hallways and upstairs and the was no real attempt at cleaning the room. The bed and pillows were comfortable enough and the air conditioning was easily moderated. Only once during the week long stay did we observe the housekeeping staff actually clean. The tub was only wiped out so there were obvious signs of use - dirt and grime lined the bath. The remote control for the TV did not work and although we made repeated requests for either a replacement or get it fixed, no one responded. The food was only great at the poolside bar/grill; options for lunch during the day were awful. Room service staff were friendly and efficient as the club sandwich was excellent. I would be hard-pressed to heartily recommend this hotel but I'll guardedly say that it's the best of the 3 within the complex.

My husband and I stayed at Hotel du Gold for a couple of days. When checking in, we found no towels in the bathroom. We put some snacks in the mini bar refrigerator but only 2 days later did we notice that it wasnt working so we had to throw away our food! They tried to fix it 3 times before they brought a new one all together! Very disappoiting for such a good hotel!

The hotel staff made our stay difficult because we speak English and made it a problem. Our dinner reservations did not get booked and housekeeping did not answer their phone lines multiple times. When asking for water, getting the room made or even towels to get brought to us, this either didn't happen or took over 1 hour. The hotel charged us extra for complementary dinners that was included in the booking and they got our bill wrong for the last bill until I presented my receipts. BEWARE they over charged us by 400 durhams. And "accidentally" charged my friend twice on her credit card. She called back but of course English speakers are a PROBLEM. Never go back to this hotel.

Good hotel in many ways except for the awful food and dining arrangements.We stayed for 4 nights and there were corporate events back to back with hundreds of guests taking over the hotel entirely with one raucous wedding party for 2 days and nights and then 2 major international conferences held there. This gives little consideration for the other guests including golfing clients to enjoy themselves in this allegedly 5* hotel. Everywhere is a cab ride away. Mid March and of the 5 restaurants on site only one opened before 7.30pm and no customers in them anyway. Slightly odd feeling about the deserted Attractions next door.

Nice pool. Clean and modern room. Not many kids. Breakfast is reasonable. Hotel is 20 mins from the city, which help you relax but is also inconvenient when it comes to lunch and dinner (hotel menu is light).

I spent 4 nights at this hotel 22.05.16- 26.95.16 the experience at this hotel was horrible. The staff hardly attend to you for your needs. The room was not clean enough and we had the plate of gone off fruits sitting in our room for the all four nights. Everything we went to have dinner or at the bar theyou end up adding more things to the bill which I believe is unfair. I would correct them Each time but it looked it their way to steal or cheap their customers. Leaving the hotel after we had spend so much money there they were not bothered how we left and where we eere going to get us a cab. The setting of the hotel in the bar is lovely however watch out for the horrible smell that drainage which coming through to our room. I would never go back worst place and PLEASE DON'T WASTE YOUR BY GOING THERE DON'T BELIEVE WHAT YOU SEE IN THE PICTURES.

The room and common areas of the hotel were spotless and very nice! With that in mind, here are two main drawbacks: some people in our group had diarrhea, suggesting there might be problems with food, and the "official" shuttle to the city was always much smaller than needed, so we had to take a taxi to the city which is quite stressful (the driver tries to overcharge you, there are no rear seatbelts, etc).

Service is very poor - not catered to cope for full occupancy - many customers complaint about slow service - waited 2 hours at the bar to get a sandwich after 4 times reminding the order. Same for breakfast, tables not cleared, not cutlery available! Dismal service - management does not understand levels of 5 star rating - it was 5 stone rating!

Since we stayed at one of the best room, the room is very nice except shower drainage system which has structural problem. Also it was a bit noisy once neon outing rooms were occupied. But great breakfast and reasonable services for arranging our outside tour etc.

The hotel is located on the northeast fringe of Marrakech close to a golf course. It is relatively isolated from the rest of the city. It has a number of restaurants associated with it that are all quite nice but there is nowhere within walking distance to buy water or groceries. I felt a bit trapped by the geographical arrangement. A decision to go into the medina required taking the hotel shuttle and a substantial time commitment. A hotel closer to the centre of town would have been better for walking to the sights from the hotel. If you have a rental car, these concerns may be mitigated. My own sense of it is that the resort experience can be had anywhere if you want to pay the money. If you want to see the city, stay in the city.

The reason I have rated the hotel poorly on service is that after we made our bookings the hotel tried to unilaterally move us to another property because they were planning to have a new year party for 4 days. This is despite assurances that we were ok with the arrangement via Expedia. We felt this was in poor taste and got the hotel stay off on a poor note. Other than than the rather epileptic wifi service in the room, the rest of the stay was excellent.

Staff were very friendly and eager to assist in spite of the language barrier as most do not speak English. Very prompt service. Concierge was able to arrange a good driver to take me to tour Marrakesh. Good food at the resturant as well. Lovely and welcoming ambiance at the reception. However the tv in my room was epileptic and limited news channels. I had no access to CNN.
