Desayuno suficiente.

Riad molto carino e accogliente.

Room was small but had everything we needed. Lovely decor! Some reviewers say the bed is hard - and while that is true - we were fine with it.
Cons: One thing I feel should be better handled is access to the accommodation. The cab is unable to drive in the Souk area where the hotel is. Therefore, it is WALK IN only. The cab drops you off at College Mohamed 5 circle. The problem is not the distance (400m and a 5min walk). The problem is that it is very confusing and I would NOT want to be doing this at night. Thankfully, we were during the daylight. The souk area is very fun and ended up to be a highlight and I am glad I stayed here. But it is entirely overwhelming when you arrive and are looking for the hotel. The last part of the walk feels sketchy as it is pathways with random doors and other pathways branching off. (Think if you are doing a maze). We literally had only 1/4 of the way to go but some con artist “walked us” the remaining part of the way (maybe 100 yards) and all but demanded 20.00 USD tip to do that. Because the hotel door was LOCKED, it felt very unnerving to be in a small alleyway, at the end of it, with a locked hotel door and some guy demanding a tip. I gave him the 20.00USD just to get rid of him as soon as the hotel opened the door. I feel that the hotel should have the door unlocked in the day, and that during the evening — I’m not sure what the heck people do but they should definitely be willing to meet and greet people at the road and walk them in until guests are used to where to go. I am only thankful I read other review the NIGHT BEFORE arriving as I wasn’t even aware that I had to walk there until I read this and I would have been entirely sketched out if the cab told me this and wanted to drop me on a random corner…..

The property was beautiful and well located and the stuff were really nice and helpful
Cons: The bead and the pillows were really really uncomfortable, it made us have back pain for days. The breakfast it’s just bread and butter with some coffee, the worst part. Added to that, guests arrived really late on the night making strong noice for an hour and you can hear everything happening on the riad. Too expensive for the value.

Very nice Riad. Well decorated. Very cosy. The small pool was lovely. The Riad is away from the main road so very peaceful at night. No traffic pollution or noise from cars.
Cons: Hot water pressure fluctuates which causes issues when in the shower. You don’t get a steady water temperature but you get hot water and then cold water. Very disappointing as you can’t shower with it. The bathrooms are very out of date and need updating. The breakfast seemed very cheap and limited in options.

Charming traditional Riad, full of little surprises of art and creativity, tucked in a hidden corner in the main bazaar, a walk away to the main square, 10 minutes, ideal for a romantic or family get-away. The staff were absolutely wonderful, helpful and carried the spirit of Morocco with them. The roof top area was another little surprise, and very charming.

Everything was as expected, beautiful Riad decorated with all the aspects of the Morrocan culture, the water feature was turned into a small pool and was heated! [Dec 24]
Cons: Location could be difficult to find as taxi can't get near to Hotel/Riad. One would need to ask, or use phone etc,.. but then all the lovely Riads are slightly away from the Souk main roads because it then becomes peaceful.

I was prepared to like this road based on published comments… but I left underwhelmed. The staff we barely responsive, at least when we needed them most. It seemed almost as if management was absent the scene . I needed a good night’s rest after the flight . That didn’t happen, at least on my side of the bed. Our two meals were ok. On balance my experience merits a less than very good.

The staff was very friendly. Sometimes, coming on a bit too strong but I appreciate the effort. They were able to accommodate our needs anytime we were hungry and thirsty. They greeted us with some tea and conversation, offering a map, suggestions and directions around the medina relative to the riad. The room was a good size and the air conditioning was A+.
Cons: The room was definitely in need of some renovation and maintenance. The faucet was leaky and the shower drain was completely plugged. After 2 minutes of showering, your feet are submerged in a deep pool of water. The wifi was also extremely spotty. Both my partner and I would lose our connection every minute or so, rendering the wifi pretty much useless. For some reason they play loud music in the common space all day long, ranging from classical to club music. They finally turn it off around 9pm but it's a bit much the whole day, especially as all rooms are connected to the common room so you can't avoid it.

Beautiful and comfortable property, with a great breakfast each morning. Room was comfortable and well furnished with a good bathroom, and extra towels already in a bag to take down to the pool. Staff were very friendly and helpful with both myself and other guests - I stayed by the pool after checkout for a bit and they offered to make me a coffee. Wasn't too hard to find on foot using Google maps.
Cons: Room was a bit smaller than expected but it is a traditional Moroccan property.

Stunning reception, ground floor. Somehow manages to be exotic, cozy, and stylish all at the same time. Want to experience something different but still feel at home? This is the place. Amazing location right next to the souks. The contrast between the wild and chaotic atmosphere of the street to the serene tranquility of the Riad makes you feel like you’ve stepped into a portal. But the absolute best thing about this place were the staff, particularly Muhammad, who made us feel at home from the minute we walked in. Such a nice bloke, and the chef’s cooking is amazing. If it isn’t obvious, would strongly recommend you stay here!
Cons: Only slight complain is the shower head kept falling off, which I’m sure could be quite easily fixed.

Such welcoming hosts, from first booking they offered to arrange taxi to collect from the airport which was a god send as we would never have found the beautiful riad by ourselves. Room was beautiful. The breakfast included was a lovely touch. Sun terrace was a well needed retreat after a busy morning at the souks, and you can purchase a cold lager too. Pool area was so relaxing. Air conditioning worked fine. We didn't try the meals but they looked and smelt amazing. 10/10 from us!

The riad is well kept. The room was clean and the bathroom was well equipped. Location is good because it's in medina, but in quiet street.
Cons: The staff was not helpful at all. They didn't give us any directions and it was very hard to find the riad. It's written that the reception is available 24h, but any time we needed something, there was nobody at the reception. We spent 30min nocking and ringing at the door and nobody was opening. Also, there was noone when we were leaving in the morning. We had breakfast included, but we had to leave a bit earlier and they didn't bother to offer us anything, they just shug the shoulders when we mentioned that. The room was extremely cold at night and we literally froze. The blanket wasn't enough and the air-condition doesn't have heating option. And at the top of that, we found huge cockroach in the middle of the bedroom. If you are used to go to sleep a bit earlier, don't count on that, because the door is made of glass and you hear literally everything that is happening outside like they are inside the room. And the mattress is hard like you are sleeping on the floor.

Great location, clean rooms and pretty terrace. Overall we enjoyed our stay, but there are a few things that could be improved.
Cons: One of the guys in the riad asked us many times if we want to book a trip/massage/dinner. We understand they try to sell additional things, but it is a bit awkward to deal with it every single day. I think it's enough to let the guests know once or twice about the opportunities, and if they want to book something, they will. Breakfast could have been better, and could include some proteins (boiled egg or some cheese). The wifi didn't work well in the room on the ground floor.

Quiet area and easy to find although when we arrived a trolley guy led the way. Lovely breakfast food and on my boyfriend's birthday, the waiter brought over cake with candles in. Very sweet.

It is.a fantastic riad. We had the room Malek with plenty of space. The airport pickup was easy and the driver handed us to a local man who was walking us to the riad's front door. Highly recommended to ask this service as if you are new to town, it is super hard to find the riad. It is at the side of the center, a great location, once you get a map and helpful directions from the staff of the riad, you can manage on your own. The noise of the town stays outside and the riad is a like a peaceful gem. We asked for the first dinner and used the hammam too one afternoon. Both fantastic. We used the heated pool too, not for swimming but chilling a bit after an exhausting day. Ahmed helped us with all we needed. Breakfast was nice too. The riad is spotlessly clean. We loved it.
Cons: There was no such thing. Some other guests were leaving early or arriving late, they were often noisy and as the room Malek is dowstairs, we could hear them often talking loud.

Les Jardins Mandaline was like an oasis of calm in Marrakech. It was in a wonderful location just inside the Medina, close to shopping and lovely eating spots. I would like to compliment the staff for accommodating us on very short notice (i.e., they allowed us to stay in the same room despite having new guests coming in), given that my partner got sick and we couldn't move out. The room was more than adequate, especially the bathroom, as we had more space than the other Riads we stayed in. The location is also easy to find - and it's a plus that it's a walkable distance to noteworthy places like the Square and Koutoubia, and that it's not in a noisy location.

We liked the views of the Riad pool. We liked the sitting area on the first floor and the breakfast was always different and a variety of local bread. The staff were always friendly - the chef in the kitchen (the grandma) was very sweet to me and Abdul was also very kind and friendly to us. Mohamed too. I get the impression that the staff are all very VERY hardworking. They are always doing something and multitasking. We ended up staying in three different rooms in the Riad because we extended our stay. The owner and staff helped us move our luggage from room to room each time. There also gave us a good price for the rooms when we extended.
Cons: Our first room which was a standard double room was a bit cramped. But not much complaints there, since we didn't really stay in our room much.

It's a beautiful cool paradise in the middle of the busy Medina. The bed was made up beautifully. The staff were fantastic. The roof terrace and pool were such amazing assets to the riad. Perfect!
Cons: The location on booking.com is not actually where the riad is. Google the address when you have Internet and see the actual location. We walked for ages to find it. I didn't have any data so I was going by the map on the site. Rather than the actual address. There was nothing else I could say as a negative at all.

Beautiful riad with lovely staff. Only stayed one night but the staff looked after us as we needed an early breakfast before we headed off on our desert trip...which resulted in 💍🤭 So thank you Les Jardins Mandaline for being our first stop on an incredible trip 💛
Cons: Not too important, but use Google maps when searching for the riad as when I used the direction link on booking.com it lead us to a different riad. Not ideal when you are tired, carrying luggage and it's warm 😅 The bed was rather hard but actually slept well, so hopefully not a deal breaker for you. Enjoy it!

I liked how I was served tea and cookies upon my arrival, most hotels don't do that. I really liked the decor of my room. Even though it was small, it was beautifully decorated. There was a small courtyard in the middle, which was pretty to look at and birds would perch on the trees and sing in the morning. A really nice touch for someone who enjoys nature.
Cons: Someone was banging crates around in the morning that woke me up. Sometimes travelers are exhausted and need to sleep. There was no TV, but maybe this doesn't really matter that much. It might actually be better without the TV.

Finding this place is the challenge. You almost need to pay a guide to get there. It is far from the Medina about a 17 minute walk. There is a young girl that is NOT homeless but nevertheless will ask you for money. The terrace is beautiful and the breakfast is delicious.

nice heated pool for the kids, great location, friendly staff, and hot showers.
Cons: the airport pickup was not ideal. the driver tried to drop me off in the middle of a dark alley with all my luggage at past 2am. being a single woman with two small kids, he didn’t even offer to help with luggage and I had to ask him to pull our small carryon and we took care of the rest. he didn’t want to take us to the hotel and expected us to turn left and walk down a long alleyway and make a right and then find it. I refused to let him leave us alone in the alleyway in the dark. he eventually walked us the rest of the way to the hotel and told me that he’s only responsible for driving, which was not my expectation otherwise I would have booked a different hotel with airport transfer that takes you to the hotel. I had told the hotel that our flight was delayed. if you arrive in the middle of the night, I’d recommend a different taxi than the one the hotel provides.

It was quiet and our room was very comfortable with a lovely hot shower, the little plunge pool and seating area around it was very pretty and comfortable too. Great for a long weekend/city break, or as a base, like us for going off on a 6 day hiking trek to Mr Tobkal, stayed the night before the trip and 3 nights after, to explore Marrakesh
Cons: The breakfast included in the price was all carbohydrates, cake, white bread, pancakes, and nothing else. There were other options, but at extra cost,, I would suggest replacing the cake or bread (or alternating) with a yoghurt or a small piece of fruit. Although the pool was very small, it was useful to have plunge pool to cool off in but nowhere to change by the pool and our room was on the top floor with the pool at the bottom so you would have to tred wet feet through the reception area and up the stairs, ok if your room was on the ground floor too, plus the sun loungers were on the top floor, and not by the pool, I guess that's what you get with a city riad. Because of location you cannot get a car near to it so remember to keep some change to pay for a porter to 'trolley ' your bags out to the road, only less than a 10 min walk (and only €2) but with heavy bags on a hot day that can feel like an hour! Overall, it was a great little place for a short stay but wouldn't stay longer.

The breakfast was delicious and fresh. The laundry service was available, which saved my life :) thank you!
Cons: I did not like that you have a tv inside the room, because I was thinking of bringing my nieces and nephews for a few days but without tv will be boring for them, I guess.

The property was in a great location, near to all sights to see in Marrakech. The staff were super friendly and accommodating to all of our needs, going out of their way to ask us how our day had gone and pointing out where else to go. Overall a really great experience!
Cons: The only downside to this property was that the beds were incredibly hard and uncomfortable at times.

Very quiet and peaceful, tucked away. But close to one of the roads that go thfrough the Medina, so convenient for shuttles, outings etc. Nice welcome and a beautiful space.
Cons: Air conditioning was a bit tired and was not really up to keeping the room cool at night (it was over 40 degrees outside), so sleeping was not a comfortable experience

Very nice riad. Stayed here 2 years ago and came back and wasn't disappointed. Very friendly staff, small but cozy place, good breakfast, right in the middle of medina. Definitely recommend !!

My wife and I (late twenties) just finished our 6 night stay at Riad Les Jardins Mandaline, and it was fantastic. Staff was very accommodating, authentic Moroccan environment, breakfast was great, plenty of extra amenities, location is in close proximity to the markets but took us a little bit of time to initially find and it was close to the excursion pick up spot for our area! Overall awesome experience! We would recommend to friends and family!

Les Jardin mandaline was a great place to stay for my friends and I. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcomed us like family. We arrived at 11:30pm and arranged to have the hotel pick us up. When we arrived in the city, Oussama received us in the parking area and showed us to the hotel (which can be difficult to find if you have never been to the Marrakech), checked us in and made us hot mint tea. If you choose to take an outside taxi you can arrange for the hotel to meet you and help you find the way. Our room was comfortable and very clean. I highly recommend this place!

The riad was absolutely beautiful, peaceful and with lovely colours. A really relaxing place to be after being in the mad city. It was easy to find and very quiet given that it was in the souks. I was not worried about safety getting to it as some reviews had suggested. The people who work there were all very friendly and helpful. The only things I would suggest is to have a bit more variety than bread and cake for breakfast.

We stayed 1 week in this beautiful riad. The staff were very friendly and helpful. There is a great roof terrace with lounge chairs and a small pool in the inside of the riad.

The staff at Les Jardines Mandaline were so welcoming and friendly and made my stay so enjoyable! It was easier than expected to navigate the area and it was in the perfect location to access the Medina and also get picked up for any excursions. The pictures are true to what you’ll find when you arrive so there were no surprises when it comes to quality. I had arranged airport pickup and drop off through the riad and it went so smoothly—there was someone waiting outside the terminal for me even though it took almost an hour to get through passport control and they were right on time for my 3:30am pickup for my return flight. Because I have food allergies, the staff was extremely accommodating for breakfast and gave me extra fruit to supplement some of the things I had brought myself. I couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay while in Marrakech! Thanks so much :)

Beautiful riad in the hustle and bustle of the Medina. It's tucked away down a series of alleyways which can be intimidating at first, but as two young females we didn't have any problems. The members of staff here are helpful and kind (Mohammed looked after us!) and the room itself was simple, small and clean. The riad felt traditional and homely which is just what we wanted. The pool is small and heated, more suited to relaxing than swimming. Breakfast was average but sufficient for our 3 day stay. Location was good - it didn't seem so great at first, be prepared to get very lost but once you find your confidence to navigate the area there is lots of fun to be had. Highly recommend this riad!

Toppen Riad helt enkelt!

The stay at Les Jardins Mandaline was perfect. The room and the hotel are beautiful and very well taken care of, and for the price we got it it was totally worth it. Would definitely recommend. It is very well located in the middle of the Medina in Marrakesh.

Our 2nd time at this Riad and again really enjoyed our stay. The Riad is hidden away down one of the lanes and is everything you need in terms of style and comfort. The staff are very helpful and friendly especially Nadia and Mohammed who were there each day/evening. The room which we chose this time was the Azawan room on the top floor of the Riad which was very nice - especially the air con which was a great relief during the local heatwave. The only thing that I feel could improve is the breakfast choice - which although is adequate - coffee/tea/juice/bread/jam/honey/cake. It becomes abit Groundhog Day. If there were some fresh fruit / tomatoes / cucumber / olives on offer - (which are in abundance in Morrocco ) - then that would be a very welcome addition and would be very welcome by all.

The riad was ok compared to other riads we stayed in whilst visiting Morocco. The room we stayed in on the ground floor (Iman) was pretty kitsch in decor but was otherwise decent. On the second night we found cockroaches in the room so we left for another hotel.

We were very surprised by this lovely Riad about 15min. North of jeema El fna. The owner is very friendly and explained the exact way to the market place and what else to visit and very helpful for booking a 4 day tour. Rooms are clean, quiet and comfy.

we got to stay at this lovely Riad for five four nights and it nearly felt like home away from home. The staff is wonderful, the rooms are cozy but appropriately sized and we felt so welcomed. If you are looking for a luxury hotel this is not it. But if you are looking for a wonderful experience at a reasonable cost, I would highly recommend this Riad. Tips, opt in for the pick up from the airport on your fist visit (as the roads are very hard to navigate at first, it's about 16 Euros). If you have a wifi booster it's nice to have it in your rooms as the wifi is strongest in the common area (this was the same when we stayed in a more luxe Riad near by).

Hotel bietet alles, was zum 1001-Nacht-Feeling dazu gehört.

A very nice place to stay. Friendly owners who took the time to explain Marrakech when we arrived over a mint tea. The room was clean and cleaned every day. The only negative was, as noted in some reviews, the room did suffer a little from condensation after a shower as there is a curtain rather than door separating the rooms. Breakfast on the terrace was excellent. We indulged in a relaxing hammam and made use of the small pool outside of the room. Great value for money in the low season. Note that unless you know the city well take up the offer of the taxi transfer from the airport arranged by the hotel as it is tucked away in the back streets. Also the owners are French so it's a good idea to be able to speak some but that's a bit of advice in general for Morocco as a whole

This place is a treasure. Clean, stylish and friendly - nothing was too much trouble. Not so much a swimming pool as a bathing pool but warm and welcome after a day in the souks. The location is close to taxis etc and the main square is a pleasant 10 mins walk through the market streets. The museum is also close. We would recommend using the taxi service that they provide to get from the airport as it would not be easy to find first time around. Several good restaurants and cafes nearby including the Cafe Arabe and La Terrasse Ben Yousef. The Riad food and wine was lovely too. We also took a trip out which they organised for us - with a sensible driver. We'll be going back to this Riad one day soon!

The riad was small and felt very welcoming. It is inside the Medina but doesn't look like that when you are inside the riad as it is quiet. It is convenient if you like to walk around the "messy" life of the Medina. The best was definitely the friendliness of the service, they make you feel at home. Breakfast could definitely be better so I recommend you ask for options if you don't like what they offer and the same if you find anything you don't like.

My friend and I stayed at this riad for four nights in September. It exceeded our expectations. We stayed in the "Sasnou" room which is beautifully decorated and has a real authentic Moroccan feel to it just like the rest of the riad! The staff are very friendly and helpful. It has a real family feel and they made us feel at home. Good location, away from the noisy busy streets. I'd recommend organising a transfer from the airport with the riad as it would be difficult to find on your own the first time as it is down some narrow quiet streets. Didn't see/get any mosquito bites which was a pleasant surprise! Overall, a lovely stay and we recommend this riad! :-)

Loved this cute little Riad and the staff was very friendly! The tiny pool was nice to dip into and cool off. GREAT FOOD! Only complaint is that there is a rooster next door that is a little annoying and roosted(sp?) at 3AM. Other than that everything was perfect!

Les Jardin Mandalines proved to be a delightful sanctuary amidst the turmoil of the Medina. The airy central courtyard and roof garden were a pleasure. The staff were welcoming and helpful throughout, and the food was excellent. Because it is in the middle of the maze of the Medina route finding elsewhere takes practice, though taxis can be ordered and drivers come to the door to guide you to the cab.

I had a lovely experience with Les Jardins Mandaline. The riad is very nice and cosy and the people were very kind and helpful although not everyone speaks English. Location is excellent, although difficult if not impossible to find on your own at the beginning. Also, the streets nearby are not well-lit, so take extra care when walking the streets during the night (since the taxi cannot take you right to the door). Besides the nice breakfast on the terrace, I also had dinner at the riad, which was always very tasty. All in all, I really felt like at home and would definitely return.

The riad Jardin Mandaline is one of the nicest places we have ever stayed in!! It's an oasis of relaxation right in the middle of the busy medina of Marrakech. The staff and owner of the hotel are incredibly welcoming and friendly and gave us some lovely recomndations for sights and restaurants. The only slight downside was that our room Tazara was in the middle of the riad without an outside window which made it a bit damp, especially after showers. We thoroughly recommend this hotel!!

Perfect location, in the middle of the Medina and hold town... 10mn from the main square by foot... Little street of a main market road... You are 3 mn away from the action, but in the Riad it is all peacful and beautiful.... When you arrive in the Riad, you are always welcome and feel at home. Very friendly and helpful staff.. You would be well looked after. If you decide to have lunch or dinner there, there are delicious tagines and couscous... On the roof terrace, it is just perfect. Great address
