Ottima posizione all'interno della Medina ma leggermente defilato dal caos dei souk, la struttura è molto caratteristica e lo staff gentilissimo, oltre la buona colazione abbiamo anche cenato alcune sere al Riad ed era tutto ottimo. Un grazie speciale ad Abdul sempre sorridente e disponibile.

Super sfeervolle riad, alles ziet er prachtig uit! Mooi dakterras ook. De mensen zijn ontzettend vriendelijk en behulpzaam! Bij aankomst lekker een kopje thee en een uitleg over de must sees in de stad. De riad zit op een rustige locatie, maar binnen 2 minuten wandelen kom je meteen in de gezellige drukte van de stad. Prima diner en heerlijk ontbijt met lekkere koffie!

Un’oasi di pace, pulizia, gentilezza e serenità. Abdu si è preso cura di noi con premura e gentilezza fornendoci qualsiasi informazione e risolvendo ogni necessità. Camere pulite, in tutta la struttura aleggia un profumo buonissimo che si percepisce appena si varca la soglia. Tutti bravissimi, anche la cuoca che ha preparato colazioni strepitose sempre accompagnate da frutta fresca. Abbiamo usufruito del Trasfert che è risultato perfetto. Wf top.

Le Riyad est bien situé au nord ouest de la Medina, dans un quartier plutôt de locaux que de touristes. L'équipe du riyad est sensationnelle! Toujours présente, toujours à l'écoute! La nourriture du riyad est aussi incroyable! Nous y avons mangé notre meilleur tajine du séjour! Le lieu et la décorations sont aussi très apaisants.
Cons: La literie de notre chambre était assez usée et les oreillers trop durs. De même, certains clients faisaient du bruit assez tôt le matin et comme l’insonorisation des chambres n'est pas prévue pour être optimisée dans ce type de logement, cela posait problème.

Nous avons passé un séjour exceptionnel dans ce riad ! L’accueil d’Abdou et Mimoune a été incroyable : deux jeunes très serviables, gentils et toujours souriants. Leur attention, leur disponibilité et leur écoute ont vraiment fait la différence. Nous nous sommes sentis comme chez nous grâce à leur bienveillance. Un grand merci à eux pour cette belle expérience à Marrakech. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir !

Het personeel is geweldig. Abdul was bijna alle dagen aanwezig, hij werkt zo hard en is supervriendelijk en maakt grapjes. Bedankt voor alles Abdul!!! Toen hij een dag vrij was, konden we rekenen op Mimoune en die was ook heel vriendelijk. Ook de kamermeisjes en kokkinnen waren allemaal erg lief en aardig. Ze geven je allemaal het gevoel dat je thuis bent. Het ontbijt iedere ochtend is erg lekker. Teveel voor ons, maar zo heb je wel iets te kiezen. We hebben nog ook ‘s avonds een paar keer in de Riad gegeten, dat is een aanrader. Ze hadden zelfs wijn, wat voor ons een fijne bonus was. De kamers zijn prachtig ingericht. Echt heel sfeervol en met voldoende privacy. Ik reisde met mijn volwassen zoon en had 2 aparte bedden aangevraagd. Die hebben we ook gekregen dus dat was erg fijn. Tip: maak gebruik van de taxiservice van en naar het vliegveld. De riad regelt dan een nette auto voor je met een chauffeur die ook Engels spreekt. Zeker op je aankomtsdag helpt dit met de overweldigende aankomst.
Cons: De waterdruk van onze douche was niet altijd even goed. De verlichting in de badkamer was prachtig maar lastig om je make-up bij te doen.

Wahnsinnig freundliches Personal und herzlicher Empfang wie es sich in Marokko gehört. Zimmer war schön und im ersten Stock mit Fenstern zum Innenhof. Wir wurden mit Tee begrüßt und gefragt wann wir frühstücken wollen und davor vom Taxi abgeholt. Die Gegend ist in der Medina und trotzdem nicht ganz so touristisch und wuselig, man ist in 15-20 Minuten am großen Platz und bei den Souks. Sichere Gegend.
Cons: Wir fanden an der Unterkunft alles gut. Gutes Frühstück. Das dazu gebuchte Abendessen war nicht ganz so mein Fall, weil etwas fad, aber das ist Geschmacksache.

Vom ersten Moment an war der Kontakt ausserordentlich freundlich und sehr hilfsbereit, aufmerksam. Das Riad liegt ideal in der Nähe eines Haupttores, so dass man sich gut orientieren kann, es ist sehr ruhig gelegen, zu Fuss ist man in wenigen Minuten im Zentrum. Die Mahlzeiten sind sehr gut zubereitet. Alles ist gepflegt und sauber.

Ci siamo sentiti come a casa! tutto lo staff gentilissimo, disponibile, professionale e sempre sorridente. La struttura è accogliente, molto pulita e curata nei minimi dettagli. Le camere sono 10+. Abbiamo cenato nel riad tre sere e Zara ci ha deliziato sempre con piatti tipici buonissimi. La colazione è abbondante e molto buona. Nella struttura è disponibile l’hammam, noi abbiamo fatto un massaggio e Kautar è stata molto brava e professionale. La posizione del riad è comodissima, a soli due minuti a piedi dal parcheggio del taxi. Consiglio questo Riad per il vostro soggiorno a Marrakech, non ve ne pentirete. Ancora grazie a tutto lo staff 🙏🤗

Breakfast was very good with fresh pastries, fruit, pancakes, yoghurt and coffee, tea and fresh orange juice. Room was beautifully decorated with ornate architecture and effects. Staff, Maimun, Ibrahim, Malikka and Azizza were so friendly, professional, helpful and could not do enough for you. Our tour organised by manager Mahjoub to the Atlas mountains was fantastic with a wonderful guide Abdoul.

We loved everything! Breakfast on the rooftop terrace was lovely. Yogurt, fruit, pastries, pancakes, cake, juice and tea/coffee - all delicious and a great start to the day. The location was perfect for us. A short walk from a main gate (where taxis drop/pick up). The hustle and bustle of the Medina was very close to the Riad although you wouldn't know once inside the quiet, cool Riad Alaka. The staff couldn't do more to help. Always on hand to welcome you back, provide advice, arrange things etc.

Le personnel a été très accueillant et disponible. Un service nous a été proposé sans que ce soit imposé. Nous avons donc réalisé un Hammam au sein du Riad et cela a été fort agréable.
Cons: La luminosité de la chambre qu’il faudrait améliorer car nous sommes obligés d’occulter les fenêtres pour éviter que les autres résidents ne voient l’intérieur des chambres qui donnent toutes sur le patio.

The Riad was gorgeous the rooms so comfortable it was lovely to use the plunge pool after walking around the medina in 37 degrees it was very refreshing. The show we went to in the safron was amazing . We really enjoyed it as a group of 4 .
Cons: I felt a little nervous at the beginning when brought through alleyways to get to the Riad . By the time we were leaving I felt very relaxed and comfortable in the neighbourhood it was so vibrant and different to what we are used to .

Que dire à part fabuleux, nous avons séjourner qu’une seule nuit au sein de ce Riad mais cette soirée et cette nuit était très plaisante ! Le personnel du Riad était très attentionnés et sympathique, Mimoune et Ibrahim ont étaient au petits soins ! Nous avons pu bénéficier du hamam et d’un massage, un moment très relaxant mais également le dîner typique marocain qui suit, salade marocaine, tajine poulet olives citron et salade de fruits de saison, nous nous sommes régalés ! Tout le Riad est décoré avec beaucoup de goût, nous avons eu la chambre « Fès » qui était vraiment très jolie, coup de cœur pour la très spacieuse salle de bain ! Nous n’avons pas eu le temps de se baigner mais le Riad dispose d’une très jolie piscine en rez de chaussés. Nous recommandons cet établissement et nous reviendrons volontiers !

La gentilezza del personale, a questi livelli davvero una cosa rara. É una struttura un po' vecchia, ma conserva tutto il fascino di quella che era una volta una casa familiare. Perfetta l'atmosfera che trasmette. Appena fuori dal vicoletto, una delle vie principali per andare in centro o una piazza dove arrivano e si fermano i taxi.

The staff were exceptional. They were really friendly and bent over backwards to look after you. The Riad is a beautiful, very relaxing , calm environment, despite being in the centre. I would not hesitate to return.

Uitstekend Riad, gelegen aan de rand van de Medina, waardoor makkelijk te bereiken per taxi. Mooie, goed onderhouden en verzorgde accomodatie. Ontvangst van het personeel is uiterst gastvrij. Het personeel is ieder moment van de dag uitermate vriendelijk, je voelt je echt gast. Excursies, andere uitstapjes en extra maaltijden kunnen allemaal via het Riad worden geregeld, maar dit steeds blijven aanbieden was voor ons wat veel. Verder gewoon heerlijke dagen gehad in Riad Alaka. Fantastisch ontbijt.

Mimoun was so accommodating to all our needs. Allowing us to check in early and leave our bags on the day of checkout. He went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect. He arranged a last minute massage, a taxi and couldn’t have been any more attentive. The room was cool and comfortable, the terrace was relaxing and spacious providing a small haven in busy city. We would highly recommend anyone to stay there.

I had a lovely stay at this riad during my time in Marrakech. The atmosphere was calm and welcoming — a perfect retreat from the busy streets of the city. The staff were exceptionally polite, friendly, and always willing to help. They spoke great English, which made communication easy and smooth. From check-in to check-out, they went out of their way to make sure we felt at home. The room itself was very comfortable, with a cozy sleeping area and a separate seating space that made it feel spacious and relaxing. The air conditioning worked perfectly, which was a huge plus in the Marrakech heat. The bathroom was clean, well-designed, and had everything we needed. Breakfast was delicious — fresh and filling, with a nice variety of local items. While the riad is located slightly outside the main souk area, it was still very accessible either by walking or a short taxi ride, which actually made it feel more peaceful. Overall, a great stay and I’d definitely recommend this riad to anyone looking for comfort, warm hospitality, and a bit of quiet away from the hustle of the medina.
Cons: Maybe if it was a little closer to the Medina and Souk area as we were tired by the time we had to get back but otherwise, everything was amazing.

We had a really great stay and loved this riad. It was beautifully decorated and very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and served on the roof terrace. Situé dans une ruelle calme de la médina, derrière une porte en bois, on découvre un havre de paix rafraîchissant. Accueil tres chaleureux, tout le personnel est aux petits soins. La décoration et l'agencement sont très beaux et traditionnels. Thé et gâteaux offerts comme le veut la coutume. Services complémentaires bienvenus : chauffeur pour l'aeroport, dîner, massage,...tout est prévu pour qu'on s'y sente bien et comme chez soi.

L’établissement est très beau et le cadre est tout de suite dépaysant. Il est idéalement situé près d’une rue passante. Si vous aimez marcher, il y a plein de choses à faire en partant du Riad. Le hammam et le modelage ont été plus que top Nous avons adoré notre première soirée avec le repas préparé Riad. Un merci particulier à Mimoune qui fait son nécessaire pour subvenir aux besoins de chacun Le petit déjeuner était très copieux. Je recommande fortement ce Riad.

Quel expérience ! Un séjour de 2 nuits au Riad Alaka avec notre fils de 1 an. Nous nous sommes senties très accueillies et tout a été fait pour rendre notre séjour exceptionnel. Le personnel est très gentil et nous nous sommes régaler des petits déjeuners et de la tajine sur le toit terrasse. La localisation est très bien, proche de la médina mais assez reculée pour être au calme. De plus, facile d'accès avec une des portes de la ville à 200 mètres. Merci encore à vous tous. 👌

El Riad en general y nuestra habitación estaban limpios, fue muy confortable y acogedor. La atención de (casi) todo el personal fue excepcional. El desayuno y cena también fueron los mejores de nuestra estancia en Marrakech.
Cons: Al realizar el check in, el recepcionista que nos atendió nos ofreció un pack de hamman, masaje y cena que nos interesó, al ser nosotros un pareja preguntamos si podía realizarse ambos a la vez para que uno no tuviera que esperar al otro, él nos confirmó que no era posible, tenía que ser uno después de otro. En ese momento apareció el manager del Riad y nos dijo que no había problema, que podría ser ambos a la vez, así que reservamos para el día siguiente. Al día siguiente, el hamman lo hicimos juntos, pero una vez terminado, oh sorpresa, uno después de otro, nadie nos informó al respecto y eso que nos cruzamos con dicho manager pocos minutos antes de empezar los servicios. Claramente vio que nos podíamos echar atrás por no poder hacerse a la vez y nos engañó. Además, en ningún lugar ni momento nos indicaron que la bebida no estaba incluida en la cena del pack, así que tuvimos que abonarlo al hacer el check out. De no ser por esto hubiera sido un alojamiento y experiencia de 10. Una lástima.

We werden koninklijk behandeld. Omar en Marika en de rest waren zo aardig en zo behulpzaam! Het eten was heerlijk en er was altijd iemand aanwezig, klaar om te helpen het beste uit je verblijf te halen. We kregen zelfs nog een cadeautje bij het afscheid. Geweldige en sfeervolle riad, ik raad het iedereen aan!
Cons: Het matras was wat doorgezakt. Dit is echt het enige minpuntje, en gelukkig heel makkelijk op te lossen. Ondanks dit heb ik toch goed kunnen slapen.

Nous étions un groupe de 12 personnes. Le riad niché en plein coeur de la médina était vraiment typique, dépaysant et reposant. Les produits de douches sentent bons et sont de qualité. Le petit déjeuner etait copieux et leur couscous vraiment tres bon! Le personnel est juste incroyable...ils sont serviables, disponibles et aux petits soins. Je recommande à 100%

Nous avons passé deux nuits et nous en garderons un excellent souvenir. L’accueil des hôtes a été chaleureux et attentionné : nous nous sommes sentis tout de suite à l’aise. L’endroit est reposant, parfaitement entretenu, propre et décoré avec soin. Tout est pensé pour que l’on se sente bien. This is a GORGEOUS riad ! Incredible decorations, colours and details both in Riad common areas as well as in the rooms themselves. Staff was very friendly, helpful and available. It's a little further from Medina center compared to other places but hands down the most beautiful Riad we've stayed at.

We had a lovely time at Riad Alaka. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed with mint tea and smiles. The staff were exceptional - friendly, attentive, and helpful. The airport transfer was very smooth, and were able to check in 2 hours before the given time. The next morning we headed out to the desert, but we still received a very nice breakfast at 5:30 am, which we greatly appreciated.
Cons: The only minor drawback was the lighting. While it created a lovely, romantic ambiance, it was a bit too dim for practical tasks like reading or getting ready in the evening.

le riad est décoré avec charme et tout est pensé au moindre détail pour que vous ne manquiez de rien. On est sur du très bon standing hôtelier pour un riad, la chambre et la salle de bain sont bien équipées. Personnel très accueillant et sympathique. Je reviendrai très certainement. Merci.
Cons: Ce n'est pas lié au riad mais à son emplacement. il est un peu éloigné de la place (15 a 20 min selon votre vitesse de marche). mais cela ne nous a pas déranger car nous sommes de bons marcheurs.

Omar ci ha accolto con estrema gentilezza, facendoci sentire sempre a nostro agio. Colazione ricca e buona. Posizione anche ottima, vicino alla porta della Medina, comoda per taxi, e a 15-20 minuti dalla piazza principale. Consigliato!

Il Riad Alaka è una oasi di silenzio e tranquillità all'interno del caos della Medina. La posizione è eccellente perché è situata in un Derb nelle immediate vicinanze delle mura in uscita verso il Quartiere Francese. La struttura è pulita e profumata ed il servizio ( per Omar una menzione speciale) è sempre stato puntuale, estremamente gentilee discreto.

La literie est parfaite, tout est très propre. On se sent apaisé et détendu grâce à l'ambiance familiale et chaleureuse du Riad et de l'équipe. Tout est possible, il suffit de demander et nos vœux sont exaucés ! Les cheffes nous preparent les menus selon nos envies (les repas sont bien meilleurs que certains restaurants que nous avont testés), excursions, transports, guides, massages etc...les prestations qui sont proposées sont parfaites. Les repas sont délicieux et copieux du petit déjeuner au dîner. Proche du centre et très calme. Aucun regret, vous pouvez venir les yeux fermés vous faire chouchouter par Mahjoub, Omar, Mamoun, Aziza, Aziza, Malika, et tous les autres qui travaillent pour notre bien être. De vrais rayons de soleil ! Nous sommes venus en famille de 20 à 80 ans et nous sommes tous unanimes, c'était parfait. Merci de nous avoir permis de vivre 1 semaine de rêve qui restera gravé dans nos souvenirs. La famille !!

Es un Ríad encantador. Tanto las zonas comunes como las habitaciones están muy bien decoradas y cuidadas. Es verdad que es pequeño, pero tiene todo lo necesario para descansar del ajetreo de la ciudad. Entras dentro y la mezcla de olores con el silencio con el contraste del exterior hacen que sea un lugar excepcional. Nos encantaron los jabones y cremas que tenían en la habitación y las camas eran muy cómodas.
Cons: La verdad que no hay nada que no nos gustara y seguramente si tenemos oportunidad de volver repetiríamos. Por decir algo, no es un alojamiento que esté cerca del núcleo de la medina. Esto hacia que para nosotros fuese más cómodo cenar allí para no tener que ir andando por las estrechas calles de noche o volver en taxi. La ventaja de eso es que tiene unos precios muy competitivos.

Cons: Les chambres du bas sont sombres et bruyantes par les aller et venus des gens. De plus la salle de restaurant se trouve juste à côté et lors des dîners, les gens parlent jusqu'à très tard et donc difficile de dormir. Le son résonne terriblement malheureusement. Dommage!

Estuvimos en Marruecos durmiendo cada día en un hotel y como estuvimos en riad alaka no estuvimos en ninguno. La cama y la almohada fue muy cómoda, no faltaba detalle en el baño, las personas que trabajan allí fueron encantadoras y el desayuno fue el mejor de todos.

Struttura esteticamente stupenda, un piccolo gioiello nascosto tra i vicoli della Medina. La pulizia è stato ciò che più mi ha colpito. La nostra stanza è stata sistemata tutti i giorni, vi sempre un forte profumo di pulito. La stanza era ben arredata e funzionale, il bagno stupendo. Ottima colazione. Lo staff è stato molto cordiale e gentile, soprattutto Omar, una persona di grande garbo ed educazione. Il letto era estremamente comodo.

Really lovely riad near Bab Doukala which is a really busy and noisy area but it's peaceful in the riad. Really friendly staff, always around to help. No key to the front door but they were always there to let us in. Nice rooftop terrace. We didn't have an evening meal but the breakfast was good with pancakes, bread, pastries, and a small omelette. We didn't eat the Vache qui rit cheese. Shower room with lovely beaten metal wash basin. Bath robes to use was a good point but they could be a bit small for some. Would go back!

Nous avons apprécié la beauté de l'établissement, la décoration soigneuse. Lorsqu'on arrive dans la ruelle on ne s'attend pas à trouver un lieu comme celui-là. Nous avons été super bien accueillis et la chambre était parfaite. Le petit déjeuner est excellent et copieux. Il y a des espaces agréables pour se détendre. Nous avons juste regretté de ne pas avoir pris le diner chez eux. Bravo à toute l'équipe !

Soggiorno di 4 notti presso la struttura. Molto bella l’accoglienza dello staff.(anche se un po’ insistenze per vendere i tour dal primo momento calcolando che siamo arrivati in struttura alle 8 di sera dopo un lungo viaggio . La struttura pulita sopra alla media . Per i standard di Marrakec Nota di merito per il personale della reception molto gentili , fanno la differenza nella struttura. I punteggi alti su Booking li hanno grazie alla loro bravura .
Cons: 1) la colazione poca varianza , prodotti di bassa qualità , marmellate non monouso , le ciotole con questi prodotti non puoi sapere se qualche altro cliente lo ha potuto usare . 2) le camere un po’ vecchiotte , necessitano di una manutenzione 3) sifone della doccia molto piccolo. 4) mancanza di cartello esposto con i prezzi dell acqua , pensavo che era gratuita e me la sono ritrovata nel conto finale …. Non molto onesto . 5) il problema più grande del soggiorno è stata la posizione in un vicolo scuro . Con molti rumori , la struttura è lontana dai maggiori punti d’interesse.

Des cuisinières incroyables avec une mention particulière à Aziza qui nous a fait une tanjia de folie. Un package Hammam +massage+menu à ne pas rater !! Des pdj copieux et fait maison. A l'écart des lieux touristiques mais assez proches à pied (20 min de la Place Jamma el fna). A 15 min du jardin Majorelle (à ne pas manquer)

Od samego otwarcia drzwi Riadu obsługa była niesamowita. Dawno nie widziałam, żeby ktoś tak się starał. Czuliśmy się maksymalnie zaopiekowani i ugoszczeni. Riad piękny, klimatyczny, w bardzo dobrej lokalizacji, blisko suku ale jednak w uliczce która bezpośrednio nie graniczy z głośną alejką. Pokój był przepiękny, dbałość o najmniejsze szczegóły, nawet opakowanie na płatki kosmetyczne jest tu piękne. Trzeba właśnie dodać że oprócz standardowych zestawów kosmetyków do mycia, znajdziemy w pokoju patyczki higieniczne, płatki kosmetyczne, czajnik, kawę rozpuszczalna i pojedyncze torebki herbaty. W pokoju sa także szlafroki i suszarka do włosów. Na zawołanie jest również sprawne żelazko. Śniadanie syte, ale tylko na słodko / głodni nie wyjdziecie. Na koniec dodam tylko, że powitanie herbatka i przyjemna rozmowa z opiekunem obiektu na mega plus. Herbata miętowa wyjątkowo pyszna. Obsługa zainteresowana naszymi planami, daje wskazówki i bardzo bardzo się stara.
Cons: Na dość spory minus słaby strumień wody pod prysznicem i dość niestabilna temperatura tej wody. Pokój dość mały i ciemny ale to chyba standardowe w riadzie i też ma swój klimat. Trochę zimno ale nie pomyśleliśmy żeby włączyć klimatyzację. Śniadanie mogłoby być również na słono.

This is a really lovely little Riad which only has 7 bedrooms which are beautifully decorated and very well designed, fresh towels every day and is cleaned immaculately. We enjoyed spending our evenings on the roof terrace which unfortunately no longer has a jacuzzi (however the pool would be lovely in summer, a bit too cold if you are visiting in the winter months) You get a great breakfast every morning which is pastries, bread, orange juice, lovely strong coffee, fresh fruit and yogurt that is very nice. The breakfasts can be a bit repetitive at times - however they are fresh and the staff are happy to accommodate. Location is ideal, it’s a 15 minute walk to the big square and on the way you past lots of lovely restaurants. Where the Riad is there are more locals than tourists, and can be noisy and chaotic but is all part of the wonderful Marrakesh experience. We just felt the Riad was a bit too keen on upselling their hospitality offers which is why we’ve rated it four stars, we ate dinner on the first night and it was excellent, however we couldn’t have eaten the large amount of food they provided every night at 20€a head. It is better to take a jaunt at a local establishment or experience the food market in the middle of the Medina. We were celebrating a 50th birthday and given a lovely cake - however at the end of our stay we were told that we had to pay 20€ for the cake itself in the bill. If you come here, you’ll have an amazing time in a beautiful authentic Riad.

Riad Alaka is absolutely superb, from location, situation from road to actual Riad, short walk from drop off taxi, the Riad itself is down a quiet lane, just seconds from the lively Medina. Staff are so friendly and honestly cannot do enough for you to make your visit the best experience ever. The food is superb, the bedrooms are large with fantastic beds and beautiful bathrooms with fabulous showers and lots of hot water! Would definitely stay here again and can't recommend enough

We had a lovely stay at this stunning riad. The hospitality was exceptional—we were met where the taxi dropped us off and welcomed with tea and biscuits at check-in, which was a nice touch. Our room was beautifully designed, comfortable and quiet. The manager Majoub and the staff, Omar, Malika and the others were attentive and always willing to help. We opted for the wellness package, which included a hammam, massage, and dinner—a unique experience that I highly recommend. The food was outstanding, from the delicious breakfasts to the traditional dinner, all prepared with great care and authentic flavors.
Cons: We noticed an issue with the payment which we had to raise with the manager, who invited us back to the Riad and helped to resolve it quickly.

We had a wonderful stay at the Riad Alaka. From being met at the airport, which is handy as the Riad is tucked away down an alley inside the medina, we were beautifully looked after. The staff were attentive and caring. The accommodation was traditional riad and delightful. Breakfast was varied and plentiful, and the dinners reasonably priced, traditional moroccean and delicious. Our rooms were very comfortable, the roof terrace great to relax in the afternoon. Location was great to explore all parts of the medina. Cleaning staff were very good. Excursions are available although we did not use them. Overall a thoroughly enjoyable experience.

Merci aux conseils avisés de Madjoub, le service irréprochable de Mimoun et Omar ! Ils ont toujours le sourire et cherchent toujours à vous satisfaire. Mahjoub and the staff were great, Mahjoub even picked us up and dropped us off at the airport when there were issues with the driver, for a small fee. They were more than helpful, friendly and hospitable. Would highly recommend.

The property was beautiful and all of the staff were super friendly, helpful and genuinely lovely people. I felt entirely at home and did not want to leave. I will most certainly be returning next year and will book a much longer stay. The breakfast was also incredible, great coffee and a good variation in foods.
Cons: I found the property slightly difficult to find on day 1 and the alleyway nearby was a little scary for a solo woman but not enough to put me off. I will definitely come back.

We had an exceptional 15/10 hospitality experience. The staff was incredibly friendly. The owner, Majoub, personally drove us to and from the airport to the Riad. Mimon, Omar (apologies if I’ve misspelled), and the rest of the team were very attentive, always checking in on us and making sure we felt right at home. They also offer excursions, breakfast, and dinner—all within the Riad. So after a long, tiring tour, we didn’t need to go out for dinner. Just let them know in advance, and they’ll have a meal ready for you. We had a fantastic time with Abdul, our friendly driver on the private Ait Ben Haddou tour. He’s the safest driver you could ask for—thank you, Abdul! And the highlight? The in-house hammam and body massage—it was absolutely amazing. Overall, our stay at Riad Alaka was wonderful, and we’ve already recommended it to our friends. You definitely won’t be disappointed!

What a dream to stay at. The staff were kind, welcoming, generous, and went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. From our taxi driver, to staff at the Riad, kitchen staff and cleaners, everyone was attentive and warm. The Riad is beautiful and clean. Hidden away in a corner of the Medina, it's a quiet oassis from the busy city. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We werden opgehaald bij de taxi. Niets sjouwen en zoeken. Gelijk bij binnenkomst is er de rust. De ontvangst is als een vriend. Na thee en inschrijven bekijken we de kamer en de riad met zijn vele details. Super kamer geheel volgens afspraak. Luiken en glas met gordijnen garanderen een pikdonkere kamer. De airco is fluister stil en koelt prina. Iedere ochtend een uitgebreid vers ontbijt. Het centrum met al zijn bezienswaardigheden is op loopafstand. De rit terug naar het vliegveld werd door Mahjoub zelf gedaan. Hij waardeert zijn gasten net als Mimoune en Omar.
Cons: De steeg waaraan het hotel ligt is nauw en meerdere panden met aardbevingsschade. De riad verdient beter. Niet makkelijk te vinden.

Abbiamo avuto il piacere di soggiornare in questo Riad per 4 notti, da qui è iniziato il nostro tour del Marocco. Questo piccolo Riad, all’interno della Medina, vicino ad una delle porte d’ingresso, è perfetto per chi cerca un'atmosfera intima e romantica. La tranquillità che regna in questo luogo è davvero unica, rendendo ogni istante speciale. Posizione molto comoda per visitare le principali attrazioni, ma anche per uscire dalla Medina. La zona è piuttosto tranquilla, il viale che porta al riad è isolato, ma non abbiamo mai rilevato alcun pericolo. La colazione è stata una coccola: una scelta di piatti freschi, homemade, che riflettono la tradizione gastronomica marocchina. Ogni mattina ci attendevano prelibatezze che rendevano il risveglio un momento da assaporare con gioia. Inoltre, il primo giorno, siamo arrivati in tarda serata, dopo un volo lungo e numerosi controlli, e ci hanno dato la possibilità di cenare all’una di notte, con una deliziosa tajine preparata da loro. Le camere, sempre impeccabilmente pulite, sono arredate con cura e stile marocchino, creando un ambiente accogliente e raffinato. Ogni dettaglio è studiato per far sentire gli ospiti a casa. Un grande merito va al personale, sempre disponibile e cortese, che ha reso il nostro soggiorno ancora più piacevole. Vorremmo dedicare una menzione particolare a Omar: ci ha trattati con i guanti d’oro, facendoci sentire coccolati e apprezzati in ogni momento. La sua gentilezza e disponibilità ci hanno colpito profondamente e ci siamo affezionati a lui, tanto che lasciarlo al termine del nostro soggiorno è stato un dispiacere. In sintesi, questa struttura è un gioiello e la consiglio vivamente a chiunque stia pianificando un viaggio a Marrakech. Le petit déjeuner copieux et délicieux, nous avons également dîner et déjeuner sur place et les plats étaient de vrais régals ! Nous avons profité du hammam et massage, un vrai moment de détente. Les excursions proposées sont également très bien ! Nous avons donc vraiment passé un merveilleux premier séjour à Marrakech et nous remercions vraiment Majoub, Mimoun, oumar, et tout le reste de l'équipe (mille mercis aussi à Abdou le chauffeur qui nous a fait passé de très bons moments) ! Merci également à Majoub pour les épices et le thé ! Nous gardons un très bon souvenir de Marrakech et nous reviendrons au Riad des notre prochain OM voyage à Marrakech !

Le petit déjeuner est copieux, et les repas le soir dans un décor romantique et typique nous ont ravis. La gentillesse des hôtes nous a touché au point de rendre ce séjour encore plus exceptionnel. Staff was super friendly and provided us with everything we could ask for. The rooms were very nice and clean. The Riad is in the old centre but close to a place where lots of taxis arrive which is convenient when you're going outside of the centre.
Cons: The beds were a bit firm for me and there be some noise when you have a room on the ground floor. Excursions are available but quiet pricy, defintely if you compare them to excursions with (online) agencies.

We loved our experience at Riad Alaka. From airport pick up to drop off, we were really well looked after! The Riad is traditionally designed and authentically decorated with lovely soaps, shampoo & body lotion free to use, and purchase! All rooms are different but each includes a kettle, coffee and tea. Lovely peaceful roof terrace, perfect place to chill out after a busy day exploring! It is situated just on the edge of the Medina and walkable to many attractions. We had dinner the first night after hammam and massage, which was very relaxing! The staff, Omar, Mimone, Malika and others whose names I didn’t know are incredibly helpful and friendly, nothing is too much trouble! Our host, Mr Majoub was very welcoming & helpful in planning our excursions and our driver Abdou was the best! We booked a private guide for our first day who showed us around the souks. A trip to the Atlas Mountains with lunch at a traditional Berber home was also a highlight! We also experienced sunrise on a balloon ride and ended the day dining at a camp in the desert to watch the sun setting! Amazing 🌅

Abbiamo alloggiato in questo Riad con mia moglie ed i miei suoceri per un weekend lungo a Marrakech. La struttura ha soddisfatto le nostre aspettative. Lo staff si è mostrato estremamente disponibile sia prima del nostro arrivo informandoci su tutte le esperienze extra disponibili in struttura, sia per il check-in - inclusa l'organizzazione del transfer dall'aeroporto (18 euro totale) - che durante il soggiorno, dandoci indicazioni su come muoverci, visitare in Medina e nel prenotare esperienze e ristoranti. Il numero di esperienze extra proposte dalla struttura è consistente. La struttura dispone di un numero di camere limitato, di conseguenza c'è pace e tranquillità. La struttura gode di una terrazza al piano alto dove è possibile riposare all'aperto e di una piccola piscina al piano terra. Le camere hanno una dimensione giusta e mettono a disposizione tutto l'occorrente per un weekend lungo. La posizione della struttura è ai margini della Medina nella direzione dei Giardini Majorelle (raggiungibili in non più di 15 minuti), risultando comodissimo sia per visitare la Medina, sia per spostarsi in taxi al di fuori. La struttura si trova in una stradina che si dirama da una delle vie principali della Medina ma di notte non è risultata pericolosa. Colazione con prodotti ottimi e abbondante in stile marocchino con marmellate, pane, cornetto, tea, ecc. ce n'è per tutti i gusti! Consigliamo la cena tradizionale con piatto principale il classico cous cous a soli 20 euro a persona (bevande escluse). Noi abbiamo effettuato il percorso benessere inclusivo di cena, hamman e massaggio per 60 euro totali a persona. Rapporto qualità prezzo davvero ottimo (meno di 50 euro a persona a notte).
Cons: Nessuna porta a separare la zona notte dal bagno nella nostra camera, cosa che ad alcuni potrebbe dare fastidio. Suggeriamo di optare se possibile ad una camera non al piano terra come quella dei nostri suoceri; la struttura non è grande di conseguenze le camere al piano terra non sono distanti dalle aree comuni, il che potrebbe dare fastidio in tema di privacy e nel caso in cui qualche ospite dell'hotel si intrattenesse nelle aree comuni. Esperienza Hamman e messaggio nel complesso positiva. Benissimo il massaggio. Esperienza hamman migliorabile. L'hamman si effettua in una stanzetta situata in terrazza, molto piccola e non troppo calda, non propriamente un "hamman". Potrebbe essere effettuato in modo più professionale e curato. Io e mia moglie abbiamo avuto una sola addetta a disposizione ed effettuandolo insieme, chi non era trattato ha dovuto aspettare. Locale dell'hamman per niente curato.

Eigen transport-sercive van luchthaven naar Riad, er stond iemand klaar om ons naar riad te begeleiden. Aankomst direct tussen lokale bevolking, maar eenmaal in riad kom je terecht in oase van rust. Ontvangst met muntthee en al de nodige info. Kamer was helemaal in orde en werd elke dag terug opgemaakt. Medewerkers zeer vriendelijk, niets was te veel gevraagd en altijd met de glimlach! Zeer aangenaam dakterras om even tot rust te komen. Ontbijt was top.

The host (and owner) Mahjoub and his associates Mimoune and Omar gave us a warm and friendly welcome, arranged excellent guide service in-city and day trips outside Marrakech as well as transfer to/from the airport, and provided a truly memorable birthday party for our daughter. The Riad is a traditional Moroccan home with a beautiful interior courtyard, the rooms are spacious and clean, the breakfasts and dinners were delicious, and the service always fast and efficient. And don't miss their rooftop hamam and massage facility - a truly rejuvenating experience!

We had the most amazing stay at the Riad Alaka- and recommend it to anyone visiting Marrakech! The staff was so kind and went out of their way to make you feel welcome and ‘at home’. The Riad is located right in the Medina, close to many attractions. The host, Majoub, can help with any excursions you want if you would like. The food was delicious, and we tried breakfast, lunch and dinners there, all of which never disappointed! The rooms are stylishly decorated and have lovely soaps and shampoo and lotion that you can also buy there. It was a trip to celebrate my birthday and the staff decorated the room with rose petals and towels wrapped in different artistic styles! It was the nicest thing a hotel has ever done ☺️

Sono stata una notte in questo Riad dove siamo stati accolti da un personale fantastico. Disponibile e accomodante in ogni nostra richiesta. Tutto il personale che ci ha accolto è stato eccezionale! La comunicazione non è stata assolutamente un problema al contrario ci hanno suggerito le miglior soluzioni e suggerimenti. La colazione è stata molto piacevole, non il solito buffet internazionale, ma prodotti tipici e specialità del posto in abbondanza sulla meravigliosa terrazza del riad. Il Riad non ha molte stanze e questo è perfetto per assicurarsi tranquillità e riservatezza. La nostra camera era molto confortante ed ho apprezzato molto anche la grandezza e spaziosità del bagno. Il Riad in sé per sé è molto più autentico rispetto a tanti altri. La posizione è ottimale, vicinissima alla parte nuova ma anche a metà strada dalla piazza e dai suk più grandi. Hanno contribuito ha rendere il nostro viaggio unico!

Very comfy beds, spacious bathroom, air con working perfectly, staff are very friendly and helpful. Beds are made each day and room cleaned. Breakfast on the top floor terrace, you get a tiny bowl of fruit, usually melon or bananas, one piece of msemmen or a pancake, jam, honey, laughing cow cheese, butter, and a couple of dates, fresh bread rolls and a sweet pastry, fresh Oj, tea or coffee. L’emplacement (loin de la foulée t du bruit), la déco, l’entrée qui donne sur le patio central était juste fantastique, la fraîcheur et l’odeur de l’endroit, l’accueil et le sourire du personnel avec un thé pour la bienvenue, le professionnalisme, le confort des chambres, l’hyper propreté (100%), la façon très intime de servir le petit déjeuner, endroit petit et restreint en nombre de clients ce qui vaut une qualité extrême du séjour. J’ai passé une nuit excellente ! Le prix en vaut vraiment la peine. Très très contente de ma première expérience dans un Riad au Maroc.

Le Riad est un petit cocon de tranquillité au milieu du tumulte de la médina . On y entre et on se sent transporté. L’équipe est aux petits soins pour nous combler. Les petits déjeuner et les repas étaient délicieux, chapeau à la cuisinière. Nous avons pu profiter du hammam et massage, c’était parfait. Omar et toute l’équipe ont su faire de ce séjour un moment hors du temps grâce a leur accueil chaleureux, leurs conseils. On s’est senti comme à la maison.

I loved that the property was super clean in a very quiet alley way. Staff were amazing, Omar was wonderful and truly kind and helpful. Fast WiFi and breakfast on the upstairs terrace complete a great 5 night visit. One tip is to ask the riad to collect you from the airport as it’s very hard to find if you arrive by normal taxi as they can’t stop outside. Dinner was lovely which we had the 1st night after travelling all day. I’d very much recommend staying here for an authentic break

Accueil exceptionnel. Équipe formidable et aux petits soins, qui répond à vos demandes (par ex. pour décaler un petit-dej si votre avion repart tôt, ou imprimer les cartes d'embarquement). Il n'y a que 7 chambres donc le personnel est bien plus disponible que dans les grands hôtels. Très bien situé, entre la médina et la nouvelle ville. Très propre. Le riad propose des excursions privées avec chauffeur et guide, je recommande d'en faire au moins une car même si elles sont bien plus chères que les excursions de groupe qui existent, elles sont aussi plus personnalisées et plus confortables (nous sommes allés aux cascades d'Ouzoud). Le riad propose aussi une formule hammam + massage + dîner que je recommande absolument pour passer une excellente soirée détendue (également adaptée aux femmes enceintes, qui au Maroc sont particulièrement chouchoutées). Le petit-dej est excellent et copieux et les dîners (en extra) préparés sur place par une cuisinière sont meilleurs que ce que vous trouverez dans les restos à touristes de la ville. Vous pouvez en plus les prendre sur une très belle terrasse au calme qui apporte un repos bienvenu après la frénésie qui parcourt les rues de la médina. Un excellent hébergement.
Cons: Il est préférable de prévoir des boules quies pour la nuit (le riad est au calme mais vos voisins de chambre pas toujours).

Nos gustó que las habitaciones son bastante espaciosas, entra bastante luz natural. El baño es muy grande, bonito y cómodo. Incluso ponen discos desmaquillantes y bastoncillos por cortesía. También nos encantó que nuestras excursiones eran bastante temprano y aún así nos prepararon el desayuno antes de irnos. Y el riad es un riad original. De los que verdaderamente son típicos aquí, y cumple con las expectativas de lo que son los riads.
Cons: No nos gustó que sinceramente en las fotos parece mucho mas grande y bonito. En realidad es mucho mas pequeño de lo que parece en las fotos y la realidad no les hace justicia. El personal y jefe son amables, pero a nosotros nos pareció un poco insistente a la hora de sacar dinero a los huespédes. Ya que intentan vendertelo todo (es normal aquí) pero a veces nos resultó incómodo. Por ejemplo cuando pedimos la clave del wifi nos dijeron: claro, 1€ creemos que era broma pero no venía mucho a cuento. Y los precios de las excursiones en este riad eran precios desorbitados. Como 12 veces mas caras que contratandolas en booking. La habitación no podía cerrarse con llaves, ya que no funcionaban. La zona en la que se encuentra el riad es un poco mala. Pudimos ver a niños durmiendo en la calle y pidiendo comida, y olía bastante mal. Aún así no se ve una zona que no fuese segura. Pero el primer momento en el que andas por la zona sientes un poco de shock.

A beautiful oasis of peace right at the beginning of the old Medina. Perfect location to discover Marrakesh but also as pick up for day tours. So, only a short walk to many restaurants, shops and highlights. Staff is super friendly and always ready to help, or serve a cup of tea. You can enjoy breakfast or also dinner or drinks at the rooftop place where there is even a little Hammam. So we were very happy with our stay.
Cons: The price is a bit higher but worth it. The daytrips / guided tours offered are good but rather expensive. The water pressure in the room was sometimes really low.

Sehr zentral Massage und Hammam einfach spitze und auf alle Fälle zum ausprobieren. Alle Mitarbeiter waren äußerst freundlich, zuvorkommend und bei jeder Sache hilfsbereit. Es wurde auf jede Frage und jeden Wunsch mit einem Lächeln eingegangen. Frühstück außerhalb der angegeben Zeiten möglich. Nach dem checkout konnten wir unsere Sachen hier lassen und spazierten noch durch die souks. Danach wurden wir wieder herzlich mit Tee willkommen geheißen.

Mahjoub & his team were superb - really friendly, thoughtful and helpful at all times. My daughter and I have just returned from 3 days in Marrakech and we hadn't planned what we were going to do for our stay before we arrived. Mahjoub very quickly helped us sort out a programme and helped us book a guide for our first afternoon which we think was absolutely essential as we were able to explore all areas of the Souks in Medina, which we could not have done on our own without getting lost. The Riad Alaka was charming - very clean & with wonderful & friendly staff throughout the entire team. Breakfast was included which we ate on the terraced rooftop and we also choose to have dinner at the Riad on the first 2 nights - cooked by a lovely lady and served with genuine warmth by Omar, all of which created a warm family atmosphere.

Our room was beautifully presented in traditional Moroccan style. The chef served us an exceptional meal (chicken and lemon tagine) on the upstairs terrace. We received many cups of complimentary refreshing mint tea. The hotel is conveniently located in a quieter side-street of the historical medina, thirty minutes (on foot) from the railway station and twenty minutes from jemaa el fna market, with plenty of shops and eateries nearby. Staff speak good English and French.
Cons: A fridge in the room would be nice to keep cold water ready. The hotel is a traditional old house, which means it's at the end of a narrow street and has steep staircases. Not a problem for us at all (we are a couple in our 50s) but access could be an issue for guests with mobility problems.

Cons: No está lejos, pero tienes que caminar unos 15 minutos hasta la plaza.

Beautiful property. Great staff and very helpful and a great location for getting into the main square, medina etc.
Cons: The main road (where the market stalls begin) can smell quite bad, mainly the butchers. This is the only downside of the Riad.

Wonderful comfortable Riad with friendly and helpful staff. Location is great and an easy walk to everything. They organised an afternoon trip into Agafay Desert with Quad driving, a Resort pool and dinner with local dancing and from pick up to drop off it was perfect. We also had the Hammam, a massage and dinner on the rooftop which was Superb. Breakfast each morning was also great with a good selection. Highly recommend.

Es un lugar maravilloso, empezando por las habitaciones que están muy limpias y los jabones del aseo tienen un olor espectacular, como el propio riad. Cogimos el wellness package y merece la pena el hammam y el masaje, puesto que Malika y Nour son muy profesionales y agradables. Las cenas y desayunos lo mejor de Marrakech. No os penséis en cenar en el riad, porque tanto el couscous como el tajín son de calidad óptima. En cuanto al personal, un 10 para todos, desde Ayoub que nos recogió del aeropuerto a la 1 de l madrugada que llegaba nuestro vuelo, pasando por Omar y Mahmoun que siempre estaban atentos y con una sonrisa para todo. Mahyoub muy amable y servicial. Ojalá en todos los sitios nos recibieran igual y nos trataran con el mismo cariño. Muchas gracias a todos el personal.
Cons: El callejón para llegar por la noche era un poco oscuro, pero volveríamos a repetir.

- The riad is beautiful designed in a traditional fashion, rooms are decadent - The location is a little out of the way but in the hustle and bustle of the locals, so as you want to the main square (20 mins) you can discover local culture - There are great little convenience stores on your doorstep, as well as fab terraced restaurants and spas within minutes - The plunge pool was refreshing - The staff are friendly and accommodating and service very good - The AC was very good particularly in the 47 degree heat we endured! - Breakfast is great on the terrace, fresh items and lots of choice The only downside was the long walk in the heat to the centre square, which if you don't go in the summer months, wouldn't be an issue at all. Also, the plunge pool water didn't look particularly clear. Other than that, great riad to spend a few days in.

Very nice and kind staff!! The breakfast is really good and the location is in a quiet spot. You can walk from there to the big square and to the Majorelle garden. I would definitely come back!

The staff they were great especially Abdul’s who took us to the dessert we will never forget also Hardin who took us to Essaouira. Mahjoud was wonderful organising our trips and guided we felt safe and well looked after at all times ❤️❤️

Gostei muito da recepção! Todo o staff foi extremamente simpático. A localização também era muito boa! Cerca de 10min a pé e estávamos bem perto do centro. Tudo muito bem decorado e limpo. Uma atmosfera muito acolhedora e tranquila. Não se ouviam ruídos do exterior e por isso, apesar de estar perto de uma rua bastante movimentada tornava-se muito tranquilo.

Nous avons particulièrement apprécié la disponibilité et la gentillesse du personnel. La décoration de la chambre est typique et soignée. Le riad est bien situé pour découvrir la médina.
Cons: Rien de spécial, à noter tout de même que la piscine paraissait plus grande sur les photos.
