La ubicación genial, muy acogedor y es muy bonito, la piscina es preciosa y el rooftop se ve genial, aunque no pudimos probarlo por culpa del clima. El desayuno nada mal, lo indicas la noche anterior y te lo preparan. En general el personal muy amable.
Cons: La luz y el wifi se iban cada rato. El agua caliente dura poco tiempo, tampoco le pondría un 10 en limpieza. Algún colchón era un poco incómodo. Y se escucha un poco el ruido exterior.

El alojamiento está genial situado y es muy seguro llegar aunque de primeras impacten los callejones (es la magia de la Medina). Tuvimos un trato excepcional por parte de TODOS los empleados, desde el té de bienvenida, los desayunos (café, pan, bollería muy buena, tortitas típicas, etc), cada vez que llegábamos al Riad todas las noches…hasta el día que nos fuimos. ¡Son geniales y súper cercanos! Las instalaciones super bien, todos los días teníamos la habitación limpia y con nuestra terracita para salir a airear si queríamos. Una estancia fantástica y volveremos!

We stayed at the Riad Vendome and Spa 9th to 12th September and we had the most fantastic time. A warm welcome with pastries and Moroccan tea, which is one of the most delicious things I've had! Warm and welcoming staff who were friendly, attentive, and always available. We had some initial problems with the hot water within our room, but this was rectified before the end of our stay. The staff couldn't do enough to assist us with this, and we're always checking in and keeping us informed of the process. We would like to extend huge thanks in particular to Fatima and Naima who offered to continually check in and support us with our water issue, and helped to get this rectified as quickly as possible. We were lucky enough to enjoy a Hamam scrub and it was such a wonderful and relaxing experience. The hotel was clean, tidy, plenty of space for the guests, the roof terrace is a gorgeous suntrap with plenty of shaded areas too. We can't recommend this hotel enough and would most definitely come back. Thank you for having us!

Cons: Misleading information on website about accommodation. There is no pool outside but only spa on the rooftop. No food unless pre ordered 4 hours earlier. No cocktails or alcohol unless requested and only available after 6pm. No happy hour. Internet was shocking and buffered most of the time making it difficult to watch anything on TV. No live music performances. No themed dinners or games room or evening entertainment.

Wir waren schon 2x hier, zuletzt vor 5 Jahren, und haben uns gefreut wieder zu kommen. Dieses Riad war mein absolutes Lieblings-Riad - seit heute nicht mehr. Die Freude war schnell vorbei. Unfreundlicher Empfang, einfach abgesetzt, kein Wort was passiert, wann das Zimmer fertig ist...nichts. Es wurde lieblos ein dreckiges Tablet mit altem, bitterem Tee hingestellt, das wars. Früher gab's mal Kekse dazu und der Empfang war herzlich und man wurde über alles informiert. Jetzt fühlt man sich nicht mehr willkommen. Doch richtig schlimm wurde es, als wir dann um 14 Uhr in unser Zimmer wollten - wir mussten selbst darum bitten, nachdem man uns stundenlang kommentarlos hat sitzen lassen, und erfuhren völlig beiläufig, dass das gebuchte Zimmer bereits belegt sei. Das fänden sie auch gar nicht schlimm, man hat uns ja als Ersatz ein anderes angeboten. Das andere glich einer Abstellkammer und wir bestanden auf das gebuchte Zimmer. Wir wurden dann beschimpft, beleidigt und wieder stehen gelassen. Ich verlangte, mit dem Besitzer zu sprechen, wurde dann noch schlimmer angeschrien und beleidigt... ich wäre ein Niemand und habe überhaupt nichts zu melden! Ich forderte daraufhin zumindest eine schriftliche Bestätigung der Überbuchung, sodass wir zumindest irgendetwas in der Hand haben, für eine Rückerstattung etc. Auch dies wurde auf herablassende Art und Weise abgelehnt. Wir verbrachten unseren kompletten 1.urlaubstag damit eine neue Unterkunft zu finden!

Cons: Riad is difficult to find as taxi can only stop near by. There are local "helpers" on standby to bring you to Riad & transport luggage but be careful as they look to rip you off - agree a price in advance!! Also there are a lot of stray cats about & they can get onto & into the property which can result in unpleasant smells.

Not far from the soukhs and restaurants. Quite easy to arrange excursions. Staff were quite friendly apart from one who was quite rude. On arrival after a long tiring journey we had difficulty with explaining what we should pay and the money side of it was quite a battle.
Cons: Breakfast same each day. Not very imaginative. Difficult to find down badly lit alleyways. No windows in the bedroom. TV only worked after some prodding to get it going. Several staff didn't speak much English. Not enough hand rails on the stairs. Air conditioning slightly difficult to adjust.

We booked this Riad for our first few nights in Morocco. What a disappointment it was. We had reserved a junior suite, but upon arrival we were given a smaller room and expected to pay the same price. When we questioned this, the night manager's first words were 'so you make trouble right from the beginning, you need to pay me now'. We offered to pay for the first night and reconsider our position, but the only options we were given were to stay in the small room, for the price we paid for the suite, or to pay twenty Euros per night more for a different room. The night manager could have accepted our money for one night, but was in fact so rude and unwelcoming that we went in search of (and found) alternative accommodation instead, despite the late hour. In addition to this debacle, the Riad proved to be nothing like the pictures online (we booked with Expedia). It is old and tatty, pokey, dark, and generally not nearly as pleasant as is suggested by the website. It is also quite hard to find, being down a dark alley, around a corner and badly signed. I can't recommend this establishment on any level, based on the fact they double booked my room, because 'they had a better booking'. Also the night manager was very unpleasant. Also, he expected me to call his boss myself to sort the problem out, after offering us a downgrade or paying more money for another room. Also because they refused to give me a refund, took my money without permission, even though I did not stay there because my room was double booked. Also because the place is not on any level as nice as the pictures suggest. To be clear, they gave our suite to another paying guest, then charged us for it, even though we did not stay there. They are crooks. I hate writing bad reviews, but this place needs to be avoided, at all costs. It's not great, they are thieves, don't stay there.

Cons: It said in the description it had 2 swimming pools when it was 1 pool and a jacuzzi on the rooftop which cost you an extra 10e. Also they wanted 4% extra to pay with credit cards. The roof top had lots of cats and some were spraying. The pictures are really old on website not giving a true picture of how the place now looks run down. On the second last day no hot water and not fixed before we left so no shower. There were electrical cables hanging out the wall on both sides of bed. Also a menu of activities available at over inflated prices. Other guests o spoke to were not happy with the condition of the place.

The riad was even better than we expected. Teh common spaces were very clean and the decoration was beautiful. Also we came in a week with not many guests so it felt like an oasis of peace. The pool helped us a lot to overcome the dizziness from the high temperatures of summer. The best thing without doubt was the staff who were always kind and attentive. Special thanks to Naima and Mohamed. We really appreciated your help and kindness.

It was a wonderful Riad with best staff, especially Nafi & those 2 ladies helping guests every way possible. Very good location near the market, good pool & terrace, I will definitely hope to go back there!
Cons: Nothing really, it is a few meters away from the main road, so first when you reach it is a small trouble worh taking. But it is how it is for most of the Riads

We stayed in riad vendome for 2 nights in March and was a wonderful stay. Everything was perfect and thanks for the moroccan team to the attentive service !! In a great area closed to the main souk, and a few minutes walking distance for main the square. The manager, Naima, was superb and made us feel safe at all times; by making sure we understood the culture of the Medina. The night time manager was also great and greeted us ! A very comfortable stay, with Spa and jacuzzi on the rooftop terrace! Thank you so much ☺️

The property is at first hard to find as its inside the alleyways . we need to ask the locals to show us the way . Riad is very basic . We stayed in aurika suite .small room for the 4 of us . there is no kettle or microwave , airconditioning not working sometimes . the toilet dont have doors just curtains . Small pool too cold to swim . Breakfast we did not have it as it was only bread and cereals . The staff are very friendly and ready to help all the time . On check in we are welcomed with morrocan tea which is really nice .

Cons: hôtel did not help bring bags from the taxi drop of or on departure. You can’t access the last 250 meters by car. Really easy to get someone to help on the street to help with our bags but we were ripped off on arrival. cost 100 dihram and we could not be bothered to argue. We went out for breakfast as apparently there was none but later found out there was breakfast. all great but the host could have explained more. that said they were very kind.

The riad is located in a great spot with a beautiful rooftop area.
Cons: The downstairs area of the riad operated as a bar that was open until midnight. Unfortunately this means that there is no chance of going to sleep before midnight, because the rooms are absolutely not soundproof and the people in the bar are basically just sitting next to your window. It's also important to know that you have to pay extra to use the jacuzzi - 14 euro for 2 people, bit of a rip-off. The rooftop area was nice, but rather neglected. Compared to other riads in the area, there are a lot better options for an equal or even better price.

Es una muy buena opción si te quedas en la Medina de Marrakech ya que está cerca de todo y el acceso no es difícil. Muy amable todo el personal ya que fueron por nosotros a la calle principal. Lo único es que el check out fue muy lento y solo había una persona preparando desayuno y atendiendo a los huéspedes. Todo lo demás estuvo muy bien.

Hotel itself was adorable! We were greeted with traditional mint tea and cookies. Staff was super friendly. Close distance to Jamaa el Efna and shopping nearby! Excellent location. Rooftop terrace was quite place to lounge after all day walking but bar upstairs under renovation. We asked for new towels because the ones left were wet and because of that the staff kept our room key. 7hours later we come back to hotel to find the key was left in the door. Luckily nobody stole anything from our room. I know it was a mistake but our personal valuables were in the room and it could have turned out bad.

Fantastic location just next to the souks of medina! The riad was really clear and beautiful! Naima was absolutely fantastic, very polite and always smiling! She offered us the best mint tea we tried there and a map of Marrakech!

We booked three single beds but arrived to a snug double bed. The receptionist said she'd ask, walked away and never came back. She didn't even provide additional sheets. The Riad is charming but lacks security; we asked for a room key but none was available. Breakfast was nice and fresh. The jacuzzi was freezing; it was a selling point we went for but really wasn't worth it. Excellent area, but could be better signposted. Overall it's nice, buy if you don't get what you asked for, don't be surprised when they don't correct it.

Sehr schönes Riad mit einem netten Serviceteam und toller Dachterrasse. Unser Zimmer war frisch gestrichen und roch schrecklich nach frischer Farbe. Zusätzlich war es sehr klein(9qm). Ich finde bei 120 pro Nacht ohne Frühstück, ist das ein sehr schlechtes Preisleistungsverhältnis. Die Dusche konnte man nur auf heiß oder sehr kalt einstellen.

We had a nice stay at Riad Vendome. The room was clean, comfortable, and stylishly decorated. We appreciated being able to check in late, and the staff was friendly and helpful. We found the location to be convenient, as the taxi was able to drop us off a very short walk away. We didn't have too much trouble finding the place, as we were assisted by some helpful neighbors and shop-owners.

En la Médina, al lado de la calle Dar el Bacha, donde se pueden encontrar tiendas y locales que, aún manteniendo la estética tradicional, son la cara más moderna e innovadora de Marrakech. We had a very enjoyable stay here. The staff were very friendly and accommodating they provided a lot of helpful information when asked. The location for the Riad itself is a perfect base for sightseeing and shopping we walked everywhere! However it is a slightly tricky place to find but I know that they are all like this and once you have learnt the route once it's quite simple to find again, the streets are quite dark and may be intimidating to a female alone but for a couple we felt completely safe and knowing that there is always member of staff awake at night to let you in the front door is comforting. The room was always clean and the riad overall had a tradional relaxed vibe. We we're unfortunate to have very noisy neighbours but as we stayed up quite late and were out most of the time it didn't bother us too much. It would have been nice to use the rooftop more, there was access and we did go up there a few times to look at the view but the bar wasn't open, Although this may have been due to the weather not being great on the days we were there maybe in the summer it is open. There is also a hot tub that you can hire but we found the price to steep for an hour as we would rather go for a meal with that money but that is our preference. Overall we really enjoyed our stay at thank the staff for that, I would recommend this Riad for couples .

Nous avons passé quelques jours dans ce riad (Aout 2015). très bel endroit. Très calme, très frais : après le bruit de la ville, vous entrez dans ce riad et c'est d'un calme, très reposant. Chambre confortable, très propre, rien à redire. Petit déjeuner, très bien (avec jus d'orange frais !) Très bon accueil du personnel, aux petits soins.. Peut-être un peu loin du centre (10-15 mn à pied) mais lorsque l'on est en vacances ça va... A recommander.

What a beautiful hotel, you get a real essence of the Moroccan culture staying here. Great staff too. Seen a few bad reviews, I think these people need an all inclusive in Benidorm - don't go to Marrakesh if you don't want to experience the culture. Again loved this hotel!

I only stayed for 1 night as I went for just the weekend. It was a little tricky to find because it's off a pedestrian road and down a narrow walk way, but the locals will show you if you ask - they are very helpful. It might be handy to keep a pocket torch, or download a torch app because there are no street lights in some parts. The Riad itself is almost a hidden gem. Staff are very accommodating. The riad is very clean and the roof terrace isn't bad either. It's located in Old Town Marrakech and is very traditional part if you are a bit if an explorer. It's close proximity to the Main Sq is a plus, a 10 min walk max. There is also a restaurant near the riad called Dar Diafar which is worth checking out for some Moroccan cusine. All in all, a great place, good location and excellent value for money without compromising on the traditional aspect on Marrakech.

this is not a 4 star hotel Approach - there is no hotel parking. You cannot even park your car for a few minutes to get in and out. The cops have an issue because there is some royal entrance close by Car access - Cars cannot access this hotel directly. You have to park around 10 mins away and then tug your luggage though narrow lanes to the hotel Room Its extremely small, doesn't have any basic amenities ( no fridge, no telephone, no Wifi ( hotel says wifi - but no signal in the room), It has a loft with very narrow stairs and a hand rail on only 1 side. Families with kids - its extremely dangerous. No room service. The tv is probably 27 inches and mounted 10 ft high on the wall - the kids can't watch the tv. The people on the loft can't either cause the grill blocks the view. It has only a few basic channels.. The room is more like a dorm.. very poorly lit and no accents on the wall either.. Breakfast - they have only 1 breakfast room that seats 10 people.. we had to wait 25 minutes while the previous family finished their breakfast. We eventually left and had breakfast outside. No elevator / Steep Steps - Again from a kids perspective, very risky with the steep steps No restaurant - there is no restaurant in the hotel.. so you have to step out of the hotel, walk 10 mins to get to the main road and then decide where you want to eat.. definitely not a 4 star ..unless you plan to just spend the night here sleeping, i would suggest you look elsewhere

Beautiful hotel with spa, swimming pool and a panoramic terrace. Quiet comfortable rooms, very nice and helping staff, amazing breakfast. A little hard to find you way at first especially at night, but a short walk to all major attractions. Great value for the price. Highly recommend.

I travelled with 3 other friends (all women) and we could not fault Riad Vendome. We arrived after midnight and they met us at the airport and gave us mint tea on arrival. The breakfast (€3 each) was delicious and very filling! Each time we returned to the Riad we returned to a calm and relaxing environment where nothing was too much trouble. I would highly recommend it and will definitely be returning there.

A great hotel in Medina. The two women running the hotel are fabulous - very welcoming, helpful. Someone is on duty 24 hours. The taxi from the airport - you should pay no more than 100 MAD. The taxi will drop you at the pedestrian walk and a local will walk you to the hotel through the maze of streets. But it's quick and you'll only need this once. Go to Henna Café very close. The hotel is a great layout with a great space on the roof - though it's not being used - so much potential there. Breakfast is simple but good. Very reasonable prices for a great stay in Medina.

Great location - a ten minute walk through the souks to the main square. Down an ally and tucked away from the hustle and bustle, but never felt unsafe. Taxis available at all times from the road. Not as traditional as some, but beautifully decorated and immaculately clean. Lovely roof terrace and plunge pool. Very friendly and helpful staff - organised an excellent day trip cheaply and easily with them. Though, she did forget to order out return airport pick up (easily rectified by just stepping outside and getting a cab - the staff told us how much it should be so that we weren't over charged - which was much cheaper than the 15euro we would have paid through the hotel). Would very much recommend getting an airport pick up on the way there though - it would be tricky to find unless the taxi driver knew exactly where he was going! On the first night, they asked us to stay in a different riad - which was only around the corner, but was a slight inconvenience. It was just as nice as this one (and actually much more traditional, so nice to see both) and was easy to move between. The showers are good and hot, and the beds are comfy! Also free wifi.

Everyone was really friendly and helpful. Hotel was great. It had the charme of a Riad and the comfort of a big hotel. We didn´t know though that in Marrakesh you have to pay an city tax per person and if you pay with credit card an extra 5%. Luckily we had enough € and it was no problem to pay with them. Hotel stuff did even take coins. Really great

Muhammed, the only staff on hand during our visit, was extremely pleasant and warm. We communicated with him in Darija. The rooms are fine. There is not a great deal of privacy in the bathroom and the two rooms we saw, including the one we stayed in, were lofted. The pictures on the website make the rooms seem significantly larger than they actually are.

The Riad was a wonderful piece of heaven in this busy city. It is central for the square but far enough not to be disturbed by the noise. It is about a 10min stroll away. The riad was simple but very clean and had everything you need for a short break. The pool and terrace was wonderful in the heat. The rooms were nice enough as you are not spending that much time in them. No locks on the doors but it did feel safe. The breakfasts are really nice and served by very pleasant and attentive staff. I would recommend it.
