This hotel riad is a 10/10. Everything was perfect. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, especially Mehdi, who made sure everything went smoothly for my family during their stay. The riad is spacious and located in the heart of Marrakech, just a 15-minute walk from Jemaa El-Fna. Despite its central location, it’s very calm and relaxing. A refreshing dip in the small swimming pool gives you the perfect Marrakech experience. I’ll definitely be coming back ☺️

From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth and genuine hospitality. The staff was brilliant and very helpful - the smiling team. The room was beautifully decorated in traditional Moroccan style, spotless, and incredibly comfortable – every detail felt carefully thought out. Breakfast was an absolute highlight – fresh, flavourful, and beautifully presented each morning. From warm breads and cakes to fresh fruit, local jams, and aromatic mint tea, it was the perfect start to each day. The location could not be better – tucked away just enough to be peaceful, yet only a short stroll from the vibrant souks, Jemaa el-Fnaa, and all the key sights. It felt safe, convenient, and full of charm. We left feeling truly cared for and already dreaming about our next visit. Highly recommended to anyone wanting an authentic Marrakech experience.

We received a lovely warm welcome at the hotel. Our room was spacious and unique to say the least. It felt like a very authentic Moroccan experience. Breakfast and dinner were delicious and fairly priced. It was great for the kids with staff being very friendly. The pool was also a good size and a nice way to cool down after a hot day.
Cons: The riad was pretty difficult to find. In the welcome message they said that they would escort us from the main road, but they were not there so we had to find our own way. Not a huge deal, just be prepared for some searching. Also, the bed was a bit too firm for us.

staff went out of their way. helped us find our way around with a very cool hand drawn map, free tea and cookies at checkin, a tour of the roof and pool etc. nice hot shower with very good water pressure. taught me how to say a few words in arabic to make it easier to get reasonable prices for taxis. helped me book a train to tangier when i was going to take the bus instead. top tier
Cons: nothing really. wish we had packed swimsuits

I am very grateful for the opportunity to spend time in this charming place. We were welcomed and taken care of in the best possible way. The riad is beautiful, the Suit Apartment what we had was originally decorated with wonderful stucco and decorations (absolutly fabolous!), very well connected, easily accessible, has many nooks where you can find your oasis of peace, wonderful green elements, spa service and in addition has a sensational service, which will take care of you in a professional way for the duration of your stay. The beds are very comfortable, the breakfasts are great, the gastronomic offer served on the roof is also very sensational. Thank you very much Abdel for all the advice and tips. Thanks a lot kitchen staff! We will definitely come back to you. Forr guests arriving by their own car - the parking is 5 minutes on foot from the riad.

The riad was very beautiful and had so many places to rest and relax! I was especially impressed by the staff being so attentive and kind.
Cons: We liked everything about the property! We did make the mistake on the first night of coming back late at night through the souks and many roads were closed / many people trying to “help” (asking for money), so I would recommend using only the big road to walk home at night. I would ask the hotel about this when you arrive to avoid getting lost :)

it was very authentic first experience. The riad is very cozy. there are a lot of small hidden corners to sit and enjoy your time with mint tea

the staff were excellent, everyone was so friendly and helpful, they Everything arranged transport from the airport, then met us to bring us to the Riad, over mint tea they gave us a map of the city and explained everything to us. Our room was beautifully decorated and was cleaned every day. The pool area was so relaxing to lie at as we're the other communal areas. Breakfast was served on the rooftop and was very tasty and a good variety. The location was also perfect, walking distance to all the major sights .
Cons: Everything was perfect for us!

nice place, nice tarrases, pool. paradice with horrible stuff on reception.
Cons: the wellcome was horrible and spoiled our stay there. the person who was working this day was not nice at all, shoulted at me, and tread me as an anamy for who knows what reason. they san me location to oteh plase, as they do not have a point on google themselves and we asked someone for help with finding them what made them crazzy as they probably do not like each other but what was my mistake? I just followed the map....really this person spoiled our stay. after was watching me what I am doing and tred me a an anamy. I am not used to be treated like this. I choose this place because of garden with trees and spa. When I open the hammam door the receptioniste shouted at me that it was not for use. Why he did not show us the riad? Why he did not wellcome us? I was traveling with a friend who is working for airb&b and he was shoked also. the room was clean but they do not wash all towers. just dry them on hot marakesh sun............the rest was fine. the manager appologied next day but what can you do about something horrible a day after. If we where not so tired of travel I would just went for different location. I do understad a man is working all day and night in a hot can be tired but this is not a reason to tread guest as anemy. I can tell it happens in Marocco when you travel with a maroccan person as a company. I can not know why. The prievieus night we spend in a simple place but very friendly. Same the next one. Simple, no tarrase but nice people around. Here I felt like totaly not wanted. My Maroccan friend even more as was shame of this treatment.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. We travelled with a large group and they were able to efficiently accommodate all of us despite a bit of a language barrier. The rooms were also quite clean and had a nice smell as soon as you walked in. The property overall has a great character and is decorated beautifully, and the rooftop terrace with lounge space was a great bonus. The location was also great, only a few minutes walk away from the souk, main square, various market streets, the jardin de majorelle, and main streets to pick up taxis. Despite the small room size it was nice that there were lots of seating and chill areas inside the property like the courtyards and roof terrace incase you want to relax outside of your room and away from the hustle and bustle of the streets outside.
Cons: There were three of us in a room and it was quite cramped, I'd say the maximum number of people to book together would be 2 if you want to be comfortable. There also weren't shower curtains which we were not used to so the floor of the washrooms would get soaked every time we shower. The stairs up to rooms are extremely steep and some found it difficult to lift their luggage up - but the staff helped with that when necessary. The location is also very hard to find and Google maps will not be a reliable option to navigate. So make sure to contact the Riad ahead of time to pick you up either from the airport with a car or walked from designated drop off spot that they can walk you from nearby - otherwise you'll get lost and end up having to tip someone for leading you. They did the latter for us free of charge.

It was tasteful and very clean. The rooftop area was a nice feature.
Cons: The only issue we had was were our room was. We were near the street, and every font we would have a group a children gathered outside playing video games and having fun, which was totally fine except that the sound travels and we could hear everything in our room. This went on nightly until just after 10:30pm, because they were all using the riads wifi - which was cute until we couldn’t rest ;) It was so loud it felt like they were in our room, which wasn’t peaceful if you could imagine.

We stayed 3 Riads in the trip for different price range. This one is at the middle range but they have best quality of breakfast even all the three riads provide similar items. This one is also the only one I saw staff cleaned the public resting and seating area. The most important is the location is not close to the Mosque, so you don't hear the loud and lengthy Calling for Praying at 4am everyday. This Raid is the only one provide the pick up at the Taxi stop place inside of the Medina (Car can't go in side of Median so it can be tiring for walking while carrying luggages). All the Riads we staied have a good service but this one really go extra miles. I really appreciate that.
Cons: room is slightly smaller. The pool area can make it bit more beautiful

Really loved staying in this Riad with my sisters and our friend. The staff were incredibly welcoming and couldn’t do enough for our stay. They were very informative on the Riad, Marrakesh and its surroundings. Nothing was ever too much for them, they were like a family welcoming us into their home. The Riad was in a nice location, just slightly away from the hustle and bustle of the main square, which we loved. We loved hanging out on the terrace in the sun, or relaxing in the restaurant having breakfast and coffee in the morning etc. The Hammam and spa was a lovely experience, extremely worth it. The Riad itself was incredibly clean and we had our room cleaned everyday. Thank you to Mohammed, Sofian, Cedric and all the wonderful staff for making our stay one to remember. Thank you for your genuine care, hospitality and really going out of your way to make our time in Morocco relaxed and really special :) best wishes the Greek girls / sisters xx

The crew made the difference. Everybody from cleaning to reception, from hamman to kitchen was amazing. It quickly felt like home. Rooms where big and wonderful decorated. Good bed. Cosy little pool, lovely terrace with lots of private spaces to sit. We dinned both out and in the riad. And the food in the riad is as good as in the restaurants outside. Eat lunch in the small places in the Medina. The beanstew/soup is wonderful. Food was generally not as spicy as we had hoped and they are fare more fond of sucker than salt. Dont't trust anybody beside the crew at the riad. Sorry to say. But EVERBODY wants to guide you to "the big place" or show you a marked or tanneries. Nothing is free. Nothing is pure help. We did visit the tanneries, because we were stupid enough to let some young man show us "a marked for Berber, who only came down once a week". But it was the tanneries he ended up leading us to. It costs us 400 dirham to the man who showed us around. It WAS interesting though, and a wakeup call to how poor and old fashioned this country is. Please remember to TIP the staff in the riad. They do not get a salary which compliments their service.

Nothing remarkable to mention.
Cons: We decided to pay for a Ryad after our desert trip to enjoy a pleasant stay, to only end up realising it was a hostel sold as a Ryad. Rooms are very small. We didn't get a door key. Very bad aeration. Location super creepy and some hash dealers are hanging out at the door the whole time. Extremely expensive for what it really is.

The hospitality. The staff are immensely friendly and helpful. We were welcomed well and given tea on arrival. Misleading name. Thought the road had a pool and jacuzzi but nothing like that. Thought I booked a suite with 2 queen beds but got 2 old Tony very uncomfortable beds. Ac was week, cleanliness to be desired, yes TV, very loud ( we could hear people going back and forth and people having breakfast outside our window in te morning. Worst stay ever and I could have gone in a 4 stars. Hire in the best area of Marrakech with a pool with half the price ( which I did the following day...) to be avoided

Way Overpriced, misleading description of a spa. I feel cheated! I found an extremely nice hotel 4 stars in the nicest area of Marrakesh and it was only 800 Mad (about $80) That ryad should have charged us $30. It was more like a bed and breakfast with very uncomfortable beds and sheets, no TV, no AC... Terrible

We booked this hotel based on web reviews and we weren't disappointed. The start wasn't great as we quickly discovered you should arrange a transfer direct to the front door in order to avoid locals wanting excessive tips for insisting on taking you to the front door if the Riad to the point they wanted more than the a taxi the driver and fuel from the airport. This isn't a critism of the Riad and is clearly something to bear in mind across Marrakech. Whilst this left a bad taste it was soon turned round by this beautiful Riad it's friendly and attentive staff. Nothing was too much trouble from bottles of water to booking taxis for us. The breakfasts were typical morrocan very filling with fresh orange juice, coffee, local breads yoghurt and various morrocan pastries. We also ate here a couple of times during our stay and can recommend the food. If your looking for a five star western hotel this isn't the place for you. But if you want to get a feel for a genuine morrocan Riad in the heart of the souks of Marrakech with all the comfort required then I would thoroughly recommend Riad dar El Aila

Very happy with this riad. If you after a genuine morocco experience then this is the place to go. Great atmosphere, good food, fantastic staff. The riad is alittle hard to find, and is off some dark back streets but this is all part of the Marrakech experience!
