Spędziliśmy niemal 2 tygodnie na round- tripie w Maroku, mieszkaliśmy w wielu riadach. Jednak ten to nasz numer 1. Bardzo przyjemnie i przytulnie urządzony, połączenie tradycji ze współczesnością. Cichy, co rzadkie. Bardzo czystko i przestronnie. Położenie idealne, 10 min na główny suk. Do tego bardzo miły i uczynny personel. Przestrzeń wspólna w riadzie zasługuje na szczególną uwagę, urządzona w przytulny sposób, tak że chciałoby się tam spędzić więcej czasu, gdyby Marakesz nie wzywał ;)

El Riad es excelente, super céntrico y bien ubicado, a solo 10 minutos o 15 máximo de todos los atractivos de la Medina. Las instalaciones son geniales y la atención y el servicio del personal también, maravilloso. El desayuno es super rico y abundante, y todos los días te hacen el cuarto lo cual es fabuloso. Dentro del Riad hay una piscina pequeña la cual creo se puede utilizar, pero sera la próxima visita. Un 10 de 10

Breakfast was excellent, everyday slightly different, varying fresh fruits and types of bread and pastries. The pancakes particulary good, with their delicious honey. It was no problem to ask for additional coffee, and our teenage sons managed to receive extra pancakes which pleased them no end!

Cons: La habitación olía a humedad. Las toallas olían mal. La dueña es una señora francesa no muy agradable. Concerté un transfer para la vuelta del aeropuerto a la 13,00 y llegó a las 13,22. Además intentaron meterme en el mismo transfer que otros turistas, cobrando ellos el doble. Cuando se lo comenté, mi transfer se lo dieron a los otros turistas y a mí me dejaron esperando porque llamaron a otro para mí. Desayuno pobre y poco apetecible.

El Riad está muy bien ubicado,cerca de los puntos turísticos pero dentro de una calle tranquila,el personal muy amable,y Kamal siempre con una sonrisa al servirnos el desayuno que por cierto está buenísimo.En en dos ocasiones contactamos para pedir desayuno para llevar y a pesar de hacerlo con poco tiempo fueron muy amables con todo.Fue un viaje en familia y no pudimos sentirnos más a gusto.El día de partida nos dejaron estar allí esperando a nuestro conductor casi dos horas.Lo recomiendo 100% para pasar unos días en Marrakech,tanto Kamal como la otra mujer,que imagino será la dueña son muy buenos anfitriones.

Nous avons beaucoup aimé notre séjour au Riad Zayane Atlas. L'emplacement est parfait, au centre de la médina tout en étant très calme. Nous avons eu un souci de clim/chauffage et le personnel a été très réactif. Toute l'équipe est sympathique, attentive et compétente. Petit déjeuner excellent et très copieux. Cons: Breakfast of good quality, but had no savoury products like eggs or meats. Mostly sweats (jams, yoghurts, pastries, juice) and cream cheese. Tough type of pancakes (hard to cut). Also, breakfast was served in a tent with 1 gasheater. Outside 8 degrees C. Cold. It had not been that cold for years in Marrakech. Bathroom is functional but could use an overhaul.

Wir sind schon das zweite Mal in dem Riad gewesen. Es bietet einen guten Ausgangspunkt um zu Ausflügen zu starten und es ist ruhig gelegen . Es ist wunderbar traditionell eingerichtet und das Personal ist sehr bemüht und freundlich. Das Frühstück ist gut und genießt man auf der schönen Dachterrasse. Wir werden es auf unseren Reisen nach Marokko weiterhin besuchen.

The Riad is pretty, small and is at a convenient location 5min walk to Bahia palace and Jamia El Fnaa making it a good place of stay if your intention is to explore marrakesh and spend less time inside the riad. The staffs are very warm and shows great hospitality.

Le Riad est joli mais le taxi( bagages) difficile à transporter au milieu de la Médina( pas d’auto ou taxi évidemment) donc c’est mieux de prendre le transfert avec le Riad.On n’est pas informé clairement de cet inconvénient . Le personnel( Camal et Larbi ) très serviable, sécurité parfait, propre, bien situé.

Cons: Pleins d’abeilles sur la belle terrasse au petit déjeuner,,,,,impossible de s’en débarrasser. Les fenêtres donnant à l’intérieur de la chambre donc parfois bruit. Attention: pas de carte de crédit acceptés pour les dîners, transport( on n’est pas non plus informé avant) Le dîner très cher pour ce qu’ils servent. On peut manger pour 30 % de prix à l’extérieur du Riad.

Riad in una posizione strategica, a due passi dal caos della medina ma in una via silenziosa e carina, vicino a tutto. Staff molto gentile e colazione ottima. Anche il riad esteticamente è molto carino.

Cons: Si potrebbero migliorare alcuni dettagli, ad esempio mettere il sapone in bagno e nella doccia e migliorare la comunicazione prima del check-in, noi essendo arrivate da sole non riuscivamo a capire dove fosse la struttura.

Il nostro soggiorno presso il Riad Zayane Atlas é stato decisamente molto gradevole. La struttura, pulita e confortevole, essando situata tra la piazza Jema-El-Fnaa, centro indiscusso della vita cittadina e della movida notturna, e Place des Ferblantiers, punto di passaggio per le vetture (cui é impedito l'accesso alle zone più centrali della medina), gode di una posizione senz'altro strategica, che ci ha consentito di spostarci a piedi e raggiungere, in pochi minuti, le principali attrazioni della medina di Marrakech. Lo staff, immancabilmente cordiale, si é dimostrato massimamente professionale nel far fronte a qualsiasi esigenza o richiesta. Ad esempio, durante il soggiorno, io e la mia famiglia abbiamo sfruttato più volte il servizio di prenotazione del taxi, che ci ha consentito di spostarci con comodità, anche con poco preavviso, e, soprattutto, con la possibilità di predeterminare il prezzo (cosa, dal mio punto di vista, essenziale per evitare "fregature") e pagare direttamente al Riad alla fine del nostro soggiorno. Non solo, abbiamo anche fruito del servizio di lavaggio dei panni sporchi e ci é stato consentito di anticipare l'orario della colazione (di cui ho personalmente apprezzato molto gli msemen freschi) finanche di un'ora. Inoltre, il giorno del check-out, abbiamo potuto depositare i bagagli per passare a prenderli più tardi, prima di raggiungere l'aeroporto. Insomma, siamo stati accolti con la massima cura e ogni nostro bisogno é stato soddisfatto con il massimo della collaborazione. Consiglio senz'altro.

Petit déjeuner "mixte" continental/marocain servi sur la jolie terrasse dont il est également agréable de profiter le soir quand le soleil est moins fort. Petit bassin dans le patio pour se rafraîchir après une journée chaude. Situation idéale dans la médina : 5' à pied de la place Jemaa el Fna. Tout en étant très au calme. Chambre spacieuse et bonne literie.

A great riad to base yourself for a trip to Marrakech, with Jemaa-el-Fnaa only a 10 minute walk away! Babette was a wonderful host and all the riad staff were helpful and welcoming. The room was very comfortable and the breakfasts were gorgeous! We both very much enjoyed our stay here and would definitely stay again!

I would like to start the review by saying Kamal, the host was absolutely fantastic and so friendly and welcoming. He was the highlight of our stay and was so kind and caring. I have never had such good service anywhere else. He is an absolute star and an asset to the Riad. The Riad itself was so homely and cosy - it was a beautiful oasis and an escape from the hectic streets outside. It has a lovely rooftop terrace which is a gorgeous sun trap and the breakfasts in the morning were delicious. Again, Kamal got us everything we asked for and went above and beyond for us. Unfortunately, our bedroom was at the front of the property so it was very loud due to the noise from the street. This made it fairly difficult to sleep at times so I would recommend earplugs. However, my parents room was at the back of the Riad and it was silent, so I think we were just unlucky with the room. You do hear a lot when people come in so I think the ONLY downfall of this beautiful accommodation is the noise. It was an honour to stay at Riad Zayane Atlas and I can’t thank Kamal, the cleaning team and the rest of the staff enough for making our stay so amazing. Thank you!

Well located in the Medina, easy to get to all the main attractions. The staff (Kamal particularly) were outstanding. Taxis were arranged to and from the airport, Kamal met us to walk us to the Road. He also arranged a last minute tour for us, after our original one didn’t work out. So so helpful!

Cons: Horrible wifi connection, basically close to no connection unless you went downstairs. Very steep staircase which is disappointing because they said in reviews that it was fixed. Not accessible for the elderly or people with bad knees. Bathroom shower was a terrible experience, water does not drain properly, standing in a deep shower basin that could overflow the entire room at any moment. You have to wait a long time for water to drain if sharing the shower after. Everything in the bathroom needs to be renovated, toilet basin was caving into the ground, the taps were loose against the sinks. Our room was facing alleyway, many motorbikes riding past at all hours of the night.

Well situated between the Bahia Palace and the main plaza Djemaa El Fna -- we were able to walk everywhere. We arrived at 1am and really appreciated the pre-booked taxi and staff who accompanied us to the riad. The riad itself is attractive and breakfast was pleasant and ample.

Cons: The room was quite small and we were able to hear everything happening in the main area of the riad, so earplugs would be a good idea. Shower didn't drain well and we were always ankle-deep in water.

Excellent location, 7-8 min walk from both Jemaa el-Fna square and from Tinsmiths square. Very clean and tidy and let us check out late too. The owner himself dropped us off to the airport for a very reasonable price. The entrance to the street is via a brick archway. Usually you may see somebody standing there for the African restaurant called BlackChich. It is down that alleyway. If you are being dropped off, give the location of Hammam Ziani (2-3 min walk from here). Or if you get the bus, get off at Jemaa el-Fna and walk down.

Everything about this place was amazing!!! The location was literally perfect. A few mins walk to both the palaces, a few mins to the main square, a few mins to the large souks, and right in the middle of the medina. Surrounded by great restaurants and shops. But also off a small road so it was very peaceful and quiet. The people could not have been nicer, everything was super clean, breakfast was great and the riad itself was really beautiful. Large room with comfy beds. I would stay again and recommend to everyone!

Great location and easy to find once you know where it is. The staff were all very friendly and helpful especially Kamal. We had a lovely trip to the mountains organised by him which we really enjoyed; nice to do a proper hike so wear sensible shoes. It was great to have a taxi organised to and from the airport (we were met just outside the airport doors). We had a fabulous holiday; thank you so much!

Cons: Perhaps a little more choice at breakfast would have been good as it was mostly different kinds of (delicious) breads. If you are expecting/wanting a modern corporate hotel you are in the wrong place!

Cons: The french owner picked me up at the Taxi and walked me to the Riad. Made me feel welcome safe and very comfortable after a long trip that was so great. I got a welcome delicious Mint Tea and some exquisite little cookies i forgot to ask their name. The room was cozy with a great bed and covers and pillows of great quality. All little details were very thoughtful. All the staff was super friendly and breakfast on the roof with all sorts of local breads, yoghurt, fruit or what you like.. coffee or teas.. Also very helpful if you wanted to go on a tour or cooking class or Hammam or Camel Ride.. everything!! My main goal was to experience Yves St Laurents time in Marrakech but there is sooo much beauty and inspiration. Easy for a woman traveling alone.. the city is safe to walk around day and night. Thank You for bringing me to the airport!! I will be back!!

Great location right in the centre of the old town, easy to walk to all the major sights/markets etc. Breakfast was delicious and very generous, and the Riad was beautiful. The room was exactly what we needed for our stay, and very comfortable. We had such a nice time here, would definitely recommend staying here.

Honestly, this riad was the best choice! Tucked away along one of the many side alleys. This riad was quiet and peaceful but very close to the medina. Although it is like a maze, which ever left or right turning you made, you are also close to restaurants. The AC which was a God send during August heat (44 degrees) worked great! The room was clean and spacious. The designs, food and kamil was amazing! I had a late flight and luckily was able to stay longer (a small fee) with no issues. Also able to print my Ryanair boarding passes. Breakfast was a nice start to the day and I loved the mint tea!! Would I come back again. MOST DEFINITELY!!!

We had an amazing stay at the Riad,the location is fabulous.Around five minutes from the Jemaa el-Fnaa square and in the heart of the Medina,but quiet and relaxing once inside.Pretty much everything u want to see is within walking distance.Rooms are typical of a Moroccan riad,fairly small but cosy,authentic and lovely.The central courtyard and roof terrace are gorgeous & I loved having my breakfast sitting in the sun in this quiet little oasis 😉.The absolutely fabulous staff and owner are a total joy and will help with anything you need,arrange trips and generally go above and beyond to make your stay enjoyable.Thanks again Babette & Kamal you made a great break even better 😉.

Beautiful inside the Riad. Well thought out chill-out areas. Loved the roof top terrace. Very central location but surprisingly quiet. Only 5-6 mins from El Jeema-Fna square and the souks and about the same the other direction to Bahia palace. Lots of local food options. Really friendly and helpful staff and lovely breakfast.

Check-in was a bit of a challenge as the staff was asleep but partially our fault as we arrived rather late (after midnight). But they were kind enough to get us situated in the room and leave the full check-in process for another day. Unfortunately, they forgot to give us a key to the front door, so we were once again stuck outside the next night also until another guest arrived and let us in. The Rihad was beautiful and had a great common area that wasn't used much and a palatial terrace where breakfast was served. Speaking of breakfast it was delicious and beautifully presented (croissants, Msemen [Moroccan Flatbread], and Khobz) and thankfully some protein (eggs and yogurt, and cheese) to go with all the jams, juice, and carbs. The Rihad is so central, close to the Jemaa el-Fnaa and Bahai Palace, Hamams, and restaurants, while still being quiet. The staff weren't the most helpful as they didn't speak much English but I would still recommend this Riad.

The property is very well located in the medina - close to the shops, restaurants, etc. They have a nice covered seating place on the terrace.

Cons: The room was too small and the bathroom even smaller. There weren't any plugs beside the bed and there was only one plug point in the bedroom. There was dust around the bed and the lights in the bedroom were also very dim. Even the customary Moroccan tea served on welcome was bitter. The staff didn't seem very keen on answering our queries related to taxis or places to eat around.

Breakfast was fine with coffee and mint tea available as hot drinks. Fresh orange juice was good too. Bread and cheese was provided along with a tub of yoghurt. Bananas and oranges available too. An egg option (boiled, fried or scrambled) for breakfast would be nice though. Property very well located in the medina - close to the shops, restaurants etc but just far enough away for quietness. Property nicely decorated with upstairs terrace. Lovely pool feature on ground floor. Staff pleasant. Owner arranged a taxi to the airport at reasonable price which was very helpful. Owner also helped with printout of Ryanair boarding passes (necessary in Marrakesh airport if you want to avoid an additional heavy charge I understand).

Cons: We were advised that breakfast was available from 8.30. I'm an early riser and would have liked an earlier option - from 7.30 ideally but 8.00 at least. Perhaps it would have been available if I had asked but I didn't have a warm feeling about this. A hotel would definitely have had an earlier option. Perhaps guests should be asked when they would like to have breakfast from. Also, the wifi in our ground floor bedroom wouldn't work and had to go into the ground floor common area for it. Not ideal especially as you need to be cognisant of other guests and noise etc.

Incredibly friendly and helpful staff. Kamal (apologies for any misspelling!!) was so nice and always there to help, especially on our day trip to Ourika Valley (best day)! Bountiful breakfast with yogurt, fruit, bread and pastries, really good coffee. Great location, close to the Jemaa el Fna, but far from the hustle and bustle of the streets. We hope to return soon and stay there again! Definitely recommend!

This is a small riad inside the medina of Marrakesh. As most riads, the bedroom windows all open to the central courtyard, which makes them a bit dark. But the beds were very comfortable, the shower was very good, they have AC, and the staff was super friendly and ready to help with anything we needed. Breakfast on the terrace is also great, and great value. Highly recommend it.

Very nice stay. The hotel picked us up at the airport and even with a 3 hour delay, there were no problem or extra charges. We also opted for the airport drop-off, which was at 3.30 AM at a very fair price. The riad was beautiful and everything one could hope for. The staff/owners were very helpfull and arranged transport for different outings at very reasonable prices (lower than the one time we tried a normal city taxi) and gave advises in terms of hammam, sightseeing etc. Another plus is, that the rooms have heating to 22 degress, meaning that the nights don't get cold as in other places :) All in all a very nice stay!

This riad is slightly tucked away in the maze of pedestrian streets lined with fascinating shops selling all things Moroccan. A pleasant walk to Jemaa El Fnaa so location is quite convenient. The decor is so quaint and quintessential Morocco, just as one imagines Moroccan decor to be. We stayed in a different room for each of the two nights we were there, first night on the first floor and second night on the ground floor. Both rooms were with an en-suite bathroom, small but very comfortable and spotlessly clean. Truly enjoyed the simple but delicious breakfast on the roof terrace. Staff were friendly and there was a homely ambience to the whole experience.

I was so happy I chose this riad for my first visit to Marrakesh. The staff were so friendly and the room was super. Excellent wi-fi and very clean property. Taxi from airport organised there and back (owner brought me on way back!). Nothing was too much trouble, breakfast was delicious with fresh bread, jams, coffee and fresh fruit (Japanese Plums). Perfectly located among the small streets of the Medina and only 6 minutes walk to main area. I'm going back to this riad in March 2019 with my Dad (he was won over by my photos of the place last time!). Again, the owner has been so helpful on the phone and by email in organising things. From organising a professional transfer from and to the airport to providing a wonderful breakfast and sharing lots of local knowledge, nothing was too much trouble. I stayed three nights with my sister and a friend in a lovely room in this gem of a Riad. Our stay was so relaxing, yet central to all the wonderful sights and sounds of the Medina. The highlight of the stay was the friendly and genuine service of Kamal, as well as the excellent location just off a bustling main street. Plaza Jamaa el Fna was only a short walk down the road and was easy to find. Despite the noise and activity of Marrakech nearby inside the Riad it was serene and a great place to rest. Breakfast on the rooftop was good. The room itself was adequate and we couldn't complain. Interior pool didn't seem particularly inviting, but that was the case in other Riads too.

La estancia ha sido inmejorable,te reciben con un te a la menta y te ofrecen un plano de la ciudad,están todo el tiempo pendientes de ti ,buena relación calidad precio,el desayuno abundante y variado,y aunque esta cerca de la da la plaza y los zocos es una zona tranquila ,lo recomiendo ,sin duda si vuelvo a marrakech repetiré

Wij zijn tussen Kerst en oud en nieuw geweest. Helaas deed de verwarming het niet ('s avonds koelt het erg af!). Maar het werd opgelost met een kacheltje. De slaapkamer is netjes maar heel klein. Geen tv en de wifi doet het alleen buiten de kamer. De badkamer is sterk aan renovatie toe. Vocht en schimmel vlekken passen goed bij het verouderde sanitair. De altijd lachende eigenaar zegt bijna geen woord. Wij waren afhankelijk van de enige medewerker die zijn best deed. Bij het afrekenen kregen we te horen dat het niet mogelijk was om met de credit card te betalen. Verder ontbijt en een keer gedineerd, best goed.
