The bed was very comfortable and warm. The room was spacious. Roof terrace was nice to chill out on. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very good.

Cons: The shower took 5-10 mins to heat up and one time it didn’t and there was no hot water. The pressure also was a bit rubbish. Other than that, I can’t complain.

The location is fantastic - close to places like Dar el Bacha and a super base to explore Marrakech. The staff were very kind and thoughtful, going so far as to arrange a chauffeur for me one evening and to walk me down to the car both on that evening and on the morning of my departure. The breakfast every day was an absolute feast, and the rooftop couches were a peaceful spot to enjoy the sunsets and evening breezes. The room was a little small, but this was not a problem as I was out every day. The bathroom was well stocked and had very nice products. The place was spotless.

Cons: Nothing! Everything was great.

The staff were amazing and went above and beyond. Nice ambiance and quiet surroundings. The breakfast was homemade and delicious. Room was spacious. Roof terrace was an added bonus. Good location.

Cons: We had to move room after the first night as the single bed sloped a lot and it was not possible to sleep at all. The mattresses were also slightly uncomfortable. However they did move us to a much better family room for the rest of our stay.

Great location, walking distance to a lot of good restaurants

Cons: When I first arrived to check in after specifically booking a twin room, the twin room they offered was dirty, not ready for guests, no air con. They begged for us to take the double room instead as it was clear the twin room wasn’t appropriate for guests. We eventually took the double room which was notably different. There were still some cob webs in the bathroom but it was miles apart from the first room. The staff did try their best to turn our stay around and were helpful.

The building is beautiful and the staff were exceptionally helpful - Khalid and Habib looked after us wonderfully, making sure all our needs were met. The rooms were comfortable and cool even in 42 degree heat. It's right on the edge of the souks and has easy access to the main sites, but is also easy to get to by car so you don't have to drag your bag through miles of alleyways. I really recommend using their Hammam too.

We had a wonderful stay at Riad Nasreen. I really loved the location - it was in the medina, but only 2 min from a corner where you could catch a cab or orient yourself. We went both north and south for various activities. It felt central, but not chaotic. The staff displayed the typical wonderful Moroccan hospitality and everyone did their absolute best to make our stay wonderful

Cons: We stayed during Easter, so the price for our room was much higher than usual. I would consider this a lovely mid-range stay, but we paid on the higher end.

We had a fantastic stay at Riad Nasreen. It is truly an oasis of tranquility in the heart of the Medina. The staff is extremely dedicated and professional – special mention to Khalid, who always has a smile on his face. The team also helped us with our airport transfer, and our rooms were cleaned daily. We really enjoyed the breakfast, which featured a variety of delicious Moroccan breads and cakes each day. It was our first time staying at a riad, and the highlight for us was being able to relax on the beautiful terrace. We can honestly recommend this lovely riad.

The Riad was fantastic , far better than a hotel. The location was amazing, within the Medina (old city) walls, and close to the central attractions, but not too far from a taxi drop off point (cars can't get to all parts of the Medina). The interior of the riad was not only beautiful & peaceful but it smelled amazing and was a pleasure to stay in. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They made the effort to always talk to us and made us feel very welcome. They brought us a lovely breakfast selection each morning at whatever time we requested. The location was very good, in a quieter part of the city away from tourist traps. Good restaurants around. The rooftop area is pretty and good loungers but pool is tiny and in shade most of the day.

Cons: Despite asking for a quiet room we were put in the worst room in the riad the first 3 nights of our stay. It was a small room directly by the breakfast area/entrance and space where everyone passed. The bed was uncomfortable and the noise at night terrible! No one else had a room as bad as ours. The staff apologized many times but could not move us sooner. We eventually got moved to the upper floor where everyone else was and the room was more comfortable, bigger bathroom and bed, better lighting. The noise at night is very bad largely because the doors and windows are not tight and you can hear even quiet conversations outside your door. Also the overnight staff should have asked guests that came in at 1-2 am to be quiet or go to their rooms instead of talking loudly in communal area.

The Riad was very well decorate and generally very clean. Me and my partner visited Marrakech in January so the Riad was generally very quiet. There are sun beds on the rooftop as well as tables and a shaded area, perfect place to enjoy your breakfast or a place to relax. The rooftop included a pool which is always a plus in the summer. As we visited at peak of their winter, we didn’t use the pool but it looked generally clean. The staff were very accommodating, throughout our stay and made the stay very comfortable. At our initial arrival, We were greeted by Khalid, who served us a Moroccan tea before giving us a tour of the Riad. Khalid was also very helpful in food recommendations and well as places to visit/ activities to do. The room had an air conditioning/ heating so very accommodating to all types of weather!

Cons: If you plan on travelling in their winter period, bring some warm clothes! The roof was opened during our stay which made breakfast a little cold. The Riad did try to warm up the room we were sat in for breakfast but also good to have extra warm clothes!

I can not recommend this Riad enough. It has a central location that is easy to get everywhere you want to go, with a beautiful interior. But what made this our favourite place to stay in Morocco (we stayed in 3 different places during our trip) was the staff. They were the friendliest people we have come across. They genuinely cared and were interested in your day. Nothing was too much trouble and when you returned of an evening you felt like you were ‘going home.’ If we went back to Marrakech, we would only stay in this Riad. Thank you Khalid and team for an absolutely perfect stay.

The staff made our visit amazing. Khaled and Abdul Atif were kind and thoughtful, and noticed when I was cold, and brought a heater. They always had time to help us understand more about Moroccan culture, and were both knowledgeable and proud of it. Their enthusiasm was contagious. The inner courtyard of the riad, and other public places were very beautiful. We had a fantastic and generous breakfast there every day. The room, with twin beds as I'd requested, was a bit small, and tired, and there was no heating. It didn't have a hairdryer, although one was available on request. The toiletries were not replaced when we'd used them, and tea was charged for. No water was left in the room. It all had a bit of a cost conscious feel, compared to the other riad we stayed in, which obviously wasn't the fault of the staff, but of the owner. It lacked that real feeling of hospitality that the team tried so hard to give. I had a hammam, and a massage, and whilst the woman was lovely, and good, both the hammam and the massage room were cold, which spoilt the experience a bit. It has the potential to be fabulous: it's in a great location, is very beautiful, and the staff are warm and friendly. A bit more attention to detail, maybe providing slippers for the hammam, and tea afterwards, and redecorating the room to add a little more comfort would make this a fabulous place to stay.

Cons: See above.

Khaled and the team are phenomenal! Love the energy they bring and the serenity of the location as well as its proximity to the Medina in Marrakech. To be honest, the little area outside the Riad is the most authentic part of the Medina (much more than the central area) and if I go back I will definitely stay here again!

Cons: Really no comment - maybe the lighting in our room as we were on the ground floor and it could use a warmer lighting situation (but that's due to my personal preference and it was fine!)

Great location, 3 minutes walk from the Bacha Palace. Riad staff provided exceptional hospitality and service, with genuineness to share culture and befriend. Breakfast was generous.

Cons: The alley outside is a little chaotic but none of the Riad's fault. Gentle tip to ask ur taxi to drop you to Dar Marjana or Dar Moha so that you do not have to walk too much with your luggage.

Riad is very traditional and a joy to be in. It could do with a small amount of maintenence but generally it's authentic, clean and well kept. The central courtyard is a beautiful space we would have loved to had dinner here but the menu was not really well presented. I am sure it would be good and would have tried if we were there one more night. Roof terrace is great but undersied, perhaps this was due to the hear. I wouldnsay some TLC is needed up there to justify the 4 Star rating. Staff were all very nice and helpful

Riad Nasreen was the perfect base for us to explore everything that Marrakech had to offer. The Riad was very charming and peaceful, alongside being exceptionally clean. The breakfast was lovely and traditional, a welcomed experience first thing in the morning. The highlight of the stay were certainly all the staff, who always went out of their way to ensure that our stay was perfect. They were always super attentive and provided great tips/guidance, which was much appreciated. Thank you for having us!

Beautiful Riad in a great but quiet location. Very clean and comfortable with a big Moroccan breakfast in the morning. The staff are exceptional, especially Habib who greeted us on our arrival and was brilliant throughout, always helpful always kind. The rooftop dipping pool was a real bonus and there was a great shaded space to relax out there.

Cons: We couldn’t get the tv to work but to be honest it didn’t really matter and we never asked to have it looked at.

Great place to stay, a little out of the thick of it at about a 15 minute walk from the Medina. Good hosts / staff. Room was big and had a central living room with sofas which was ideal for us. Parking was around the corner on the street for €10 a night. No big issue. A/C was good and the Riad is significantly cooler than on the road. If you intend to drive be aware that other road users are nuts and you need your whitts about you! The Riad is down a side street so you can’t park up outside it. It’s a 5 minute walk down some back alleys so leave the car close by, check in and ask one of the very helpful staff to help sort you out a parking spot. Included breakfast was good, I’m regretting not having an evening meal here but we just never got around to it. Sun loungers and small pool are upstairs on the roof. The city is quite dusty though so as soon as it’s been cleaned you get a bit of dust on tables etc. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend

The staff were excellent, always there to help. I required a doctor and they arranged this for me with no trouble. They were exceptionally friendly. The room was very clean. We were very well cared for.

Cons: I did feel like the room was very over priced. The facilities and the raid were beautiful but our room was pretty basic for the price. it was on the lower level and quite noisy, other guest would be having breakfast outside our bedroom window and it didn’t feel very private. I asked if we could upgrade and be upstairs but this didn’t seem possible. I wasn't keen on the breakfast as it mainly consisted of sweets.

Cons: It can be a bit noisy in the mornings because the rooms face onto the courtyard and there are wooden doors. Beds are little bit firm but not uncomfortable.

Staff were wonderful and very welcoming, answered all our questions, made us feel truly at home. Shoutout to Khaled on night staff! The riad itself is beautiful with three lovely kittens, spacious room, very clean. Breakfast included, a nice terrace for sunbathing, and there is a hammam in the riad itself. Located in the heart of the medina, close to the souks. It is down a few narrow allies, but as long as you stay covered and don't go out too late at night you should be fine. We were two females and felt very safe there. Couldn't recommend Riad Nasreen enough! Thank you :)

After a long train ride in the gruelling heat and a series of unlucky events, our expectations were tempered- we were simply hoping for a decent night’s sleep in a clean riad. Instead, we were met with an unbearable smell of smoke that cloaked every part of the riad, including our room. This was advertised as a non-smoking building which is precisely why we chose it. Nauseated from the stench, we were then obligated to speed through lists of other lodging alternatives, as one of us is allergic to smoke. Management refused to help out and /or refund us for the 4-night stay. We were also met with another surprise: cockroaches on the floor of the riad! All to say, we both felt betrayed by the way this riad was advertised, as a 4 -star. Since we were pressed for time and having to choose an accommodation for that same night, our choices were greatly reduced, leading us to stay in a hotel that was vastly more expensive than anticipated and far from the bustling city centre we were looking forward to. Highly encourage you to look anywhere else but this place as it will disappoint!

Overall, our stay at this riad was average. We encountered a few cleanliness issues in the room that were somewhat off-putting. An upside was that the staff was courteous. During the check out process, we paid the riad city tax, but the staff didn't have change for us. He told us to go to the ATM to get the exact amount, or simply be okay that we'll overpay since they didn't have change available. We were running late so we didn't bother to go to the ATM. The change wasn't a big amount, but it was definitely an inconvenient experience. In terms of amenities, the rooftop terrace was nice. One benefit was that the location was convenient. In summary, it's an okay option for a short stay if you're not expecting anything extraordinary.

The staff were very friendly and accommodating, especially when needed early breakfasts. The roof terrace was a lovely place to relax. The hammam & massage were different & something to try, although not sure if good value compared to outside but nice being on site. The breakfasts were nice, some mornings were better than others. The room was comfortable & dark for sleeping although we could hear an inconsiderate family around early on our later start days.

Cons: The evening meal was disappointing so we ate elsewhere after the 1st one. The tour arranged around the city was basically lots of sales pitches although nice people just felt awkward as we just wanted to see more of the city than shops. Drinks are expensive, just get from the little shop in the main street opposite side turning (very helpful store to get change too) A miscommunication was that the Riad wouldn't accept card payment so it was lucky we double checked before the final day so we had enough cash to clear the bill since we had an early morning checkout.

Cons: Nothing to do with the riad at all. My beef is with the people who try to take every last penny from you. Its so tedious when every person is trying to drag you in to shops only to give inflated prices. I won't be going back just because of this, which is a shame.

A beautiful Riad tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the markets. The location is ideal as all the main attractions are approx. 10-30 mins walk away from the Riad. It was clean, quiet during the day and evening and the staff were really helpful and friendly. It’s definitely an authentic Riad experience. We went for my birthday and the staff members offered us a complimentary evening meal and decorated our room with flowers. I specially requested the room with 4 poster bed and they ensured that was the room we stayed in. Overall a wonderful experience and highly recommended place to stay.

Cons: Not particularly bothered by this but a point to note, in the morning when guests are having breakfast or staff are making breakfast you can hear everything from your rooms. We also had issue with the shower temperature being too hot and then randomly it went cold but this was sorted, and the light above the mirror in the bathroom would flicker sometimes, but again the staff ensured that this will be sorted.

This is a traditional riad, and the internal design and architecture are stunning. Given that we visited in January we were not able to try out the rooftop pool and sun loungers, but our impression was that everything on offer would provide an ideal experience in the heat of the summer. Liaison with the management was very good in advance of our arrival.

Cons: Breakfast was disappointing. Fresh orange juice (surely the treat most readily available in Morocco?) was never provided, and there was no choice of fruit each day. Yoghurt and real butter also failed to appear on occasion. Managing a riad during the winter months must be challenging, but there was no indication as to whether heating was available in rooms. It may be that the air-con system could provide a source of heat, but as no information on this (nor, indeed, a remote control itself) was provided we do not know if this is the case.

A beautiful, peaceful place to stay especially with the hustle and bustle outside. The stand out feature are the staff who are very kind and gentle . Arrange a taxi to pick you up from the airport through the hotel , you may pay a little more but they make sure you get to the Riad which is down alley ways.

Cons: In winter it is chilly. Bring jumpers. Of course if you come in summer this is perfect.

We had a lovely stay in Nasreen, the hotel is in a quiet street but right in the Medina. only 10-15 walking to all main attractions. The hotel is nicely decorated and has a lovely terrace with a great view. However, what stood out the most is the incredibly welcoming and friendly staff, they were very helpful and always welcome you with a smile! Only a few things could bring it to the next level: The mattresses could use an update and it would be great to have a couple of non sweet options for breakfast (like eggs), and of course being in Morocco, orange juice would be a nice plus too. All in all we had an amazing stay and will highly recommend! :)

The riad had a beautiful central courtyard with a light, airy feel. The hosts were lovely and friendly and very helpful. I was unwell, and the host went out to get paracetamols for me, which was very kind. It is really worth staying here, a great base for daytime exploring for two women.

Cons: Fixtures and fittings were a bit fragile, and the plunge pool was refreshing but a little less impressive than we expected. We had booked the place for the plunge pool, a much needed added bonus in the raging dry heat. The riad was tucked away down the back streets, so it was not ideal should you come back late as the taxi could not stop outside the entrance. .

Cons: Of course, it would be necessary to be clearer when explaining what an excursion consists of (for example, warn that every guide is going to take you to many different stores where they have agreements for you to buy something... sure you can refuse, but the sellers trick you into buying and you almost don't realise it).

This Riad (a riad is the equivalent of a guest house in the UK) is beautiful, traditional with a very authentic Moroccan vibe which we loved. The staff couldn't have been more helpful and friendly and were there for us when we needed help with booking taxis, tourist info etc. They are very welcoming with children and gave special attention to our 2 year old daughter, providing a cot for the room for free. The location is great as it is in the old town near many historical sites (about 30mins walk to most tourist attractions such as Bahia Palace, Secret Gardens, Majorelle botanic gardens or Carre Eden mall). The manager kindly upgraded our room to a nicer ground floor room without charging extra. The place is listed as wheelchair accessible on booking.com but the only rooms that are step free are on the ground floor because there is no lift and there are a few steps through the ground floor. We liked having the option of eating dinner there (at an extra cost) and the food choices were good. Their kitchen is not open all day like a hotel, there are some ladies who come to cook breakfast at 8am and stay to prepare dinner if any guests have ordered - you have to order your dinner before noon so they have time to buy the ingredients and prepare the meall. We appreciated the attention to detail they offered to our stay i.e. they decorated the bed very nicely for our honeymoon when we first got there. There is A/C in every bedroom which is great, especially during summer months when it can be unbearably hot outside. The roof terrace is lovely, it has a small plunge pool (not a swimming pool) which is good for cooling down and a nice seating area. There were a few things that could have been better in our view. We noticed and showed to staff 4 cockroaches in our bedroom (2 dead and 2 alive), however we stayed there in July and the weather was incredibly hot (43 degrees), so maybe that was the cause, rather than a permanent situation.

The hosts, especially the youngest of them - Khalid (hope I got his name right) was exceptional. He was very warm, welcoming, was even enthusiastic from his end to share details about local traditions of Marrakesh. I'm floored by his hospitality. The riad itself is pretty quiet and peaceful. My wife and I also enjoyed the company of the friendly cats in the alley (they are not allowed into the property which is a good step from the riad managers not to expose someone who might be allergic).

Cons: Mostly minor points and not dealbreakers. The breakfast, though really good, sometimes took a long wait. WiFi is slightly weak in the rooms and can be improved with a simple repeater. The pool is a small one, more for relaxing than swimming. I thought the price was a little high for the amenities but it might be because of Marrakesh in May.

Location within medina but also a quiet area. Staff where very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good. Also we stayed twice a few weeks apart as we travelled around morocco. As I was climbing toubkal after we returned to marrakech. I asked if I could leave my bag with climbing clothes there. And this was accommodated no problem for 3 weeks this was very good of the staff and manager.

Cons: Shower temperature was hit and miss. Swimming pool is a plunge pool.

Cons: During our second night, we found a cockroach in the bathroom. The staff came and we heard him hitting something and throwing some Kleenex in the toilet, but he told us that there was no insect. Next morning, we asked to change room. And we found immediately another cockroach in the shower! So we decided to leave and to cancel our 2 last nights there. The assistant asked us to pay the entire stay and to come back the next day when the manager will be present to refund us the 2 nights we cancelled as it was for hygiene purposes. However he told us that he will not refund us as the picture of the cockroach was in another room (but still at the same riad!) and that they did nothing wrong. And also that the assistant never told us that we will be refunded. I have never seen someone so condensing.

Khalid, what to say about this man! He is an exceptional worker always looking for something to do. Attentive and giving really good recommendations for us, one day we were sick and he went to buy medicine for me because i did not find a pharmacy open. The rooms where amazing and the hotel was a peaceful place in the middle of a really busy city. Always smelling refreshing! I would definitely recommend this place to everyone coming to Marrakech! Thanks you so much! Khalid, great Man, amazing worker!

The Riad was beautiful. The courtyard with the fountain were calm and relaxing and a lovely place to sit. All the rooms look onto the fountain area and we were pleased to be able to step straight from the room to this area. The room was authentically decorated and charming. There was a roof terrace and lounge area to sit with a small but cooling plunge pool. Khalid and the staff were extremely attentive and helpful, happy to discuss places to visit and history. The breakfast was delicious; the best we have had in Morocco. The location was excellent, just a few minutes from the Souks and close to good places to eat in the evening. Overall an excellent hotel.

The only issue that we had with this riad was the internet service. It was hit and miss with mainly being a miss. It was almost impossible to get a reliable service in the room and we had to go out into the courtyard to get any service. To give them credit, they did try to improve things and they were not successful. Our first room was so small that we had to ask for a larger room as we had nowhere to put our suitcases and it was very difficult to even walk around the bed. From what we could see, most of the other rooms were much better size wise. The staff were wonderful and did the best that they could given what they had to work with regarding the internet. The riad is in a great location and there are some nice restaurants close by. It is also possible to order a evening meal there although they need advance notice so that they can get the ingredients required for the meals.

The building is a beauty.

Cons: The swimming pool looks great on the pictures, but it is basically a bathtub for a couple (2m x 4m, 0.7m deep). You can call it pool, not a swimming pool as swimming is not an option. Wi-fi did not work in the room. Breakfast was pretty basic, in a 2-star hotel you get a better one. There is no restaurant, no bar, even though the Booking.com pages say otherwise. Booking.com should state clearly that it is not accessible by car and that parking is not organized by the Riad. I filtered the search with the filter "parking". However, we ended up parking quite far in a paid lot.

The staff is very nice, helpful and accommodating to the best of their ability. They did everything possible to make our stay as convenient as possible. However, we had several issues. We were a group of 4 and had booked 4 nights total: 1night at the beginning of the trip and 3 nights at the end which a few days later. Since we were a group of 4 we had booked a family suite. However, a month after booking, when I reached out to confirm our airport pick up, we were told that the hotel had overbooked the family suite for our 1night stay and offered us 2 other rooms. When we got there we noticed that the condition of the other 2 rooms were not as we had seen in the pictures for the family suite. Rooms and bathrooms were not well lit. Plus there was no hot water in one of the rooms. Hot water was an issue for the entire stay. Explanation: they use solar panels to heat up water and since it had been raining quite a bit, hot water was limited. (We didn’t run into any hot water issues at any of the other places we stayed, which were: Ait Ben Haddou, Merzouga and Dades Gorge.) We used the Hammam on our last day and there was no hot water there either. Other issues: some rooms seemed to be well put together and others seemed like they were haphazardly done (mirror in bathroom of one of the smaller rooms was too high) minor, but after everything else it just added on. Really grateful to the staff though for being so nice.

The property is roomy and spacious which is great. it’s located near DAR El Bacha which is close to lots of restaurants and attractions. One of the staff members (new worker) young guy he was very helpful and made us feel welcome.

Cons: (1) The bed was uncomfortable, (2) We once waited 20+ mins for breakfast eggs and ended up leaving as they never arrived, (3) The rest of the staff seemed nice enough, but not as welcoming and friendly as other riads. (4) The shower didn’t feel that clean and was hard to use.

We loved the warm welcome and staff attention. They went the extra mile to make our stay so lovely. Thank you. We were even accompanied by one of the team to sort out a taxi back to our campsite. The Riad was calm and beautifully designed and our room comfortable. The breakfast was phenomenal and we enjoyed a little time on the terrace. We liked that it was close enough to the Souks and the Square. The shower was the best ever. It really enhanced our Marreskesh experience and we were so grateful to have it to retreat to.

Cons: We felt uneasy about the walk through the side street to the Riad. Although lit up at night we felt a little unsure about walking here as two women. It was just a bit unnerving. We wanted to order an iced coffee and water mid afternoon although we were informed that the ladies had gone home so no hot drink or foods were available. The marketing gave the impression that the pool was larger than it was, so that wording needs to be realistic so as to manage expectations.

Also we had beers and drinks on the roof Terrace one afternoon . 24 hours later everything had been left as was so obviously no member of staff had visited the roof Terrace in 24 hours. We got cheated by the front office staff everyday. They kept charging us what turned out to be shocking prices for any trips we took around Marrakech. Now Marrakech is an awesome city and the location was the redeeming part but we were fed up of the lies and crookery of the staff by our second day there. An example was one staff member says laundry is free and before you leave they don't give you your laundry back until we paid $70 US!! It's cheaper to have your laundry done in a hotel in the US!!?? Are you kidding me? Extortion! The lady in the front office was clearly running her own personal business even though she's not the owner. Overall, the place was rather untidy and dark. I mean at least give us a few lights!? We would eat in complete darkness in the mornings...the pictures are misleading...BIG TIME and there are significantly better Riad's and hotels in the area that cost less. The only honest staff were the ones who worked the kitchen. Sadly, our stay here hurt our thoughts and opinions on what is a lovely city and country.

KHabib and Khaled were extremely helpful. My husband was feeling a little sick while we stayed at the riad, and these two were available and very helpful to his requests, and tried to make him feel as comfortable as possible. Great location - you feel like you are centrally located, but in a quiet part of the central location which was nice. The breakfast was delicious and fresh every morning.

Cons: The shower was cold! We told 3 different staff, and supposedly the electrician came to fix the problem - but the water was shower was cold all week. The room smelled like it had mold in it too. We would have appreciated receiving a bit more information when we checked in like what time breakfast is served, we have to inform the staff in advance if we want dinner, how to book the hammam, what the wifi is…etc.

Cons: I genuinely don’t have any negatives to share about the Riad; however, I’m sure that some individuals may feel that the walk into the city centre is a little too far. I didn’t find this to be an issue though and there were always taxis available, if you don’t fancy walking.

The Lady at the reception (owner?) was very helpful and even gave us a free maroccan sim card. Also the other staff working there was very kind, especially the night guard welcoming us at 1am with freshly made tea. We also liked the location a little bit outside of the Medina centre, it's also easy to find with Google maps.

Cons: Pool is very small, not suitable for swimming as one could suggest from the photos. Furniture and building would need some renovation, not as nice as photos suggest. the shower took ages to produce hot water. The owner seemed quite arrogant, e.g. shouting for the women working there. Overpriced Laundry service (would have been ca. 30€ for a medium bag, so obviously we did not accept that). Noisy rooms, especially if you want to sleep a bit longer in the morning. In total, in our opinion the value-for-money is not justified compared to all other Riads we stayed in.

The location was quite central and the whole atmosphere of the Riad’s lobby gave you a good vibe. The receptionist was kind to offer us our breakfast even if we needed to depart early in the morning (4am).

Cons: We requested double bed and even if we received a confirmation about our request was accepted we got 2 single beds. The room didn’t feel that private. There were windows everywhere and too much effort was needed to make it so. Even the door was made out of glass. Even though there was an extra wooden door in front of the glass one, it couldn’t be closed firmly so it gave you the feeling of lack of privacy. We spent one more night in a different Riad in Marrakech for the same money and it was way superior. Overall, the 4* rating is way far from European standards and it’s more like a trap.

The female office worker Shahed and night shift worker Khaled was AMAZING. The Riad was beautiful but the area wasn't so pleasant. The people in the area made it unpleasant for tourist with a rental car. We had troubles everyday! To keep it short and simple DO NOT RENT A CAR IF YOU ARE STAYING IN THE OLD CITY. If you are staying in the area and not planning on taking road trips in Africa. Let the Riad book a private driver for you. The night shift worker Khaled is an excellent worker, very pleasant, reliable and trustworthy. He and Shahed made the stay enjoyable and their services was superb!!

We had an amazing stay at Riad Nasreen. The staff were friendly and super accommodating, especially abderazay, Habib and Shahd! The rooftop was a prime, quiet and tranquil place to read a book, away from the noise and dramas of the souks. Also the lamb tagine was excellent, probably the best of the trip, much nicer than the food from Google’s top reviewed restaurants, I would highly recommend it, make sure to place your dinner orders at breakfast time so the team has enough time to go out and buy fresh ingredients. I believe all the team deserve a pay rise as they worked so hard to keep the place clean and all customers so happy 😃

The property was beautiful inside, and have a real sense of a traditional Riad. Very central location, but not far from a taxi drop off (the Medina doesn't allow taxi access everywhere) the location was perfect for the Souks, museums, and a great set of to quality restaurants all nearby (cafe árabe, foundouk, dar cherifa etc). The staff were incredible, extremely friendly and accommodating, always willing to help and made us feel like it was our home rather than just a hotel to stay in. Highly recommended and would stay there again!

We stayed at Riad Nasreen in 2018 & loved it. We always said that if we returned to Marrakech we would go back, & we did. The tourist industry in Marrakech has been on its knees over the last 2 years because of Covid & we were a bit worried that it might not have been as good or that the Riad might have cut back on their offering. All of our fears were alleyed though. The welcome was very warm & we were served mint tea on arrival (I always thought that was a nice touch). The riad is still the oasis of calm in the assault on the senses that is Marrakeck. As full on crackers as Marrakech can be, coming back into the alleyway leading to the Riad, the quiet and calmness returns. The things we always loved about Riad Nasreen are all still there. The beautiful decor, the calm, intimate atmosphere, the fabulous breakfasts each day (& they are brilliant) & its location - everywhere is a short easy walk away. The other thing we loved were the staff, I honestly don't think more could be done by any staff, anywhere to make their guests feel more welcome or to ensure that we enjoyed our stay. Mr Abederrazak and Chahd were great, but I especially need to call out Habibe, he was (again) fab. He is really hard working, just wants to please the guests. He always sorted out whatever we needed, and nothing was ever a problem. We needed to have early breakfasts on several days, that was not an issue, Habibe sorted it. He organised taxis when we needed them & he made our stay wonderful!

We had a nice stay at Riad Nasreen. It is off the beaten path in the medina which was nice since it was quiet. The staff waa helpful in meeting our ride and guiding us to the Riad and also setting up our early ride back to airport. Breakfast was amazing and extensive. Main issue was that the internet Wifi was spotty and did not work in our room. They did try to move the router some to see if this would help. Our room/suite was very nice. A/C worked great.

We pre-booked the airport transfer (15 EUR) to avoid the hassle on arrival and the manager greeted us at the car and directed us down some narrow streets to the Riad (at night these streets are well lit and the Riad is easy to find). The staff were very welcoming and attentive throughout our stay, especially the manager Mr Abderrazza. On arrival we were greeted with Moroccan mint tea and biscuits. Beautiful and extensive breakfast every morning including tea/coffee, freshly squeezed orange juice, yogurt, a different cake prepared each evening, pastries, bread, jams and fruit. The Riad also offered lunch/evening meals on request which were very reasonably priced. It is located only a five minute walk from the souks in the medina and a 15 minute walk from Jemaa el-Fna square. Also centrally located for all the sights in Marrakech as well as being able to walk to the new town. The Riad was very peaceful and there were plenty of spaces to relax, from the spacious rooms to sitting areas, the central courtyard and the rooftop terrace, with Wi-fi throughout which was also a bonus. All in all a great stay in Morocco.

Riad Nasreen made our trip to Marrakesh extra special. We were a family of 4 and were given the bigger suite which had 2 bedrooms and bathrooms and a small seating area . The decor in our rooms was tastefully done and made us feel we were in Morocco. The beds were comfortable and rooms cleaned everyday. The AC in the bedrooms enabled us to cool down from the intense heat outside. We enjoyed the breakfast in the inner courtyard which was continental and plentiful but we particularly liked the square morrocan flat bread that was brought at the end. Wish we could eat that at home. One night we had dinner there which was tasty. My son has food allergies and they were able to cater for him allowing him to have a good breakfast before settling off on our days adventure. The decor of the inner courtyard was stunning! Anouar and his team were amazing!! As we arrived Anouar gave us a map and chatted with us to see to our needs. His staff too were able to help us when we needed things in the evening. They were all so friendly and helpful and were what made Riad Nasreen special. Thank you!

Aside from the great location, staff and hotel, I appreciated the neighborhood. It's about a 10 minute walk from the plaza but far enough away from the crowds where you need to worried about pickpockets. The breakfast was also excellent. Wish we had stayed longer! They also arranged for a great guide of the Medina who was excellent. This area can be overwhelming so it's nice to have a guide, especially for the first day. It was only $80 for the guide and we were a party of 5 people. A separate day they arranged a driver to the Atlas mountains- a Unesco site. This was also interesting and is recommended. La Mason Arabe, one of the fancier hotels and restaurants is a short walk. It's a spectacular hotel and restaurant with live music and a bar. Our most memorable night in Marrakech!

Riad Nasreen. Service second to none, it was all about making us happy (which it did - Thank you ). It is a beautiful Riad, beautifully decorated. We would definitely stay at the Riad again and highly recommend it.

Our stay was incredible. Our incoming flight was about 3 hours late and the shuttle was there for us and they had our ore-ordered dinner waiting. Food was fantastic over the whole stay. Recommend booking day trips through the Riad. We didn't but wished we had. We highly recommend this Riad. Felt welcome and safe the whole visit.

Walking into the riad Nasreen was a tranquil haven. The staff were fantastic. An enormous breakfast was produced every morning. The beds were were large and comfortable. The rooms were lovely and spacious with heating to take away the chill of the cold January evening. Would recommend and definitely stay again if we visit Marrakech in the future.

My husband and I stayed here during our stay in Marrakech. The service was great and lots of helpful advice, including a map of how to get around. The tea and snacks on entry was really nice after our flight into Marrakech. The location was great and our room was very nice and clean. We really enjoyed our stay at Riad Nasreen.

Staff was amazing. Employee and porter was waiting for us when we arrived in taxi. Breakfast and dinner were served exactly when we requested it. Manager provided details of everything we could need for our stay and provided assistance at a moments notice.

We enjoyed our stay in this hotel, felt like living in old days with water fountain sound and eastern muisc. But I would recommend to contact Riad on arrival to get you their as it is located in a narrow riad / walk path cars wouldn't go ...the guys are very friendly and happy to help .

My family and i went to Marakkech and stayed in the old city right in the heart of all the culture and traditions... Hotel Staff were absolutely fantastic and very friendly. We had a lovely authentic connecting suite which was so nice as our family can be all together.. Home made breakfast everyday which was so nice to the usual inter continental breakfast you get at other hotels

Lovely stay in Marrakech at Riad Nasreen, The staff were very friendly and attentive, Anouar, Hisham and Habib were very nice and made us feel at home like family, lovely chirping birds in the morning in the courtyard with breakfast, very warm and relaxing after long hot days in the Souk, WIFI should been better!

This riad, like most was a hidden gem within the Medina of Marrakech. Breakfast was great. Habib was so helpful and attentive. The only issue is that the wifi is very spotty. It didn't work in our apartment style room. Also, we visited during Ramadan and did wish that things like closing times for local attractions or dinner time for the staff was told to us. A little more information would make a holiday so much better.

Riad Nasreen is beautiful small hotel, conveniently located in the centre of the old town within walking distance of souks and the Jemail el-Fna square, the main square in Marrakech. Beautiful clean rooms with traditional decor. The roof terrace is a perfect place to relax and take in the views of the city. We were made to feel at home immediately on arrival. The owners Anour and Mohammed gave us great recommendations and advice on excursions and how to get around the city, and ware always available to respond to questions. The staff were professional and courteous

There are not enough superlatives to describe the Riad Nasreen. It became quite literally a home away from home. The manager/owner Mohamed has created an oasis of calm and comfort in the middle of the bustling medina. His effortless hospitality and boundless charm is reflected by the entire staff. The riad itself is a gem, tastefully restored and loaded with creature comforts, not the least of which is an on-site hamam, an on-demand restaurant and a beautiful rooftop terrace. Breakfast is served with a smile as you arrive in the downstairs lobby, a courteous and friendly driver is only a phone call away, coffee and tea on the terrace are but a request away and all of this in the luxuriously appointed, beautiful oasis of the riad. Look no further for the best riad in the cultural center of old Marrakesh.

Thoroughly recommend this riad in a quiet part of the old medina. Walking distance to all the main sites and a lovely peaceful place to return to. Beautifully restored with traditional courtyard witj fountain and plants where we had breakfast. Lovely roof terrace with views across old medina to the Atlas mountains, snowcapped when we were there. We took a standard room, which is small, but we were happy with the price. Very nice bathroom and shower. And very helpful and friendly staff, from the kitchen to front desk, there was a very nice atmosphere. We had a happy stay.

Awesome service, great location (once you find it), relaxing atmosphere. English speakers followed up via email soon after I booked the room to arrange airport transfers and room details. Made-to-order dinners, but order early as they take some time to make; delicious. Great value too; loved this place!

It's a really good little place to stay. The walk there will be daunting upon arrival as its down lots of alleyways. Rooms were clean and breakfast was HUGE! Not much variation in breakfast and after a week we were a little sick of all the carbs. The only problem I would have is coming home late that you don't get a key to the front door seeing as it's like a home. You ring the doorbell and they will always wake up to let you in, but we felt a little rude doing this. However I think most places in the Medina are like this. Great place to stay though :)

We were escorted to the Riad by our driver organised by Narseen (highly recommen) and was greeted by Anouar. Both proffesional and pleasan, we also received a tour and delicious mint tea on arrival. Our stay was only 3 nights, but is one of the most memorable stays we have had. Also recommend having dinner at Road, the food is authentic and delicious and the smell of the Riad after a day of cook is magic. Can't fault them in anyway.

Recently spent a week here with my husband. It's right in the heart of the old town (Medina) and conveniently close to everything. However, once inside the property it is very quiet and relaxing, and there was absolutely no street noise at any time. The staff were charming, helpful and always available. They supplied us with a map, organised day trips and taxis. We ate at the property most nights, and the food was excellent. We used the hammam and also had a massage. The property has a lovely courtyard and also a roof terrace, and breakfast and dinner can be taken in either place. There is good wifi all over the property, with two lounges for sitting in, reading, etc.

The service at Riad Nasreen was simply fantastic. Mohammed and his staff were very friendly and eager to help. When we first got there, they gave us mint tea and biscuits and then spent a lot of time talking us through how to navigate the Medina and the things to watch out for in Marrakech. They do this for everyone coming in. The hotel itself is gorgeous - the attention to detail of the decor, the condition it's in is remarkable. We had wine just hanging out on their rooftop deck a couple nights and it's a great place to just relax after a long day of exploring Marrakech. The rooms were plenty nice - everything worked great, and it was all very clean. Again, this was all about the staff and their hospitality. Above and beyond across the board. Couldn't recommend a place more!

Staying at this riad was one of the most pleasant parts of my stay in Marrakech. The riad itself was lovely - beautiful rooms, excellent food, perfect location - but what really made it special was the exceptionally warm and welcoming demeanor of the owner and staff. I was celebrating a special occasion in Marrakech, and they made it even more special.

Fantastic location, very quiet, very comfortable, fantastic service. The only downside was that the hamam (sauna, Turkish bath) was out of service. But I'm sure it was just temporary. I can't recommend Riad Nasreen enough and if I'm ever back in Marrakech I'm staying here.

Riad Nasreen was beyond your expectations in every way. The rooms are on two floors, set around a beautiful central courtyard. The courtyard was so lovely to sit in for breakfast. There's also a rooftop terrace which is very pleasant. Our room was large and had a small sofa. We had dinner there several times and it was very good. Service was excellent and Mohammed, the owner, was extremely helpful to us in making our daily plans.

This tidy litte riad is a welcome respite from the chaols of the medina. It is tucked away in a quiet area but still very close to the souqs and tourist attractions. It is hard to find but once there, the proprietor is happy to offer good advice and service.
