Our stay at the Riad was nothing short of wonderful. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the friendly staff who made us feel right at home. The riad is beautifully decorated in a traditional Moroccan style; warm colours, cozy courtyards filled with greenery and light. Room was comfortable, offering a peaceful retreat. The rooftop terrace was a highlight; an ideal spot to relax

Authentic atmosphere and quiet ambiance. Itâs a peaceful retreat in the heart of the medina. The property stands out for its traditional Moroccan decor, combined with modern touches that create a welcoming and comfortable environment. Rooms are thoughtfully designed and comfortable. Friendly and attentive staff, who are committed to making each stay pleasant and hassle-free. The riadâs spa services such as massage and a hammam were an added value. Thank you to Ali, Rabia and all the staff for your kindness.

It was a great stay. The host was replying to all my queries. The staff were friendly and polite. Breakfast was simple but could request for fried egg or omellete. We had dinner ( pre ordered) when we arrived as it was late, we had Beef Tajine which was delicious.Although our room is not as great, it was comfortable enough to sleep. The place is about 20-30 mins walk to the main city. But there are loads of taxis around just learn how to negotiate with the price. I would advise to arrange transport with the riad as it can be difficult to find for the first time.

The place is great, the breakfast was really nice, a bit redundant but was worthy. The staff is really nice and the pool and rooftop are really peaceful.
Cons: The location, a bit feeling unsafe in the area especially at night and also lack of indication of the place location at first when we arrived if a local didnât told us where it was located we wouldâve searched for a while. Also some cockroaches where present in the room at night if we didnât turned on the ac but itâs the city center we canât do much I guess

The property was ok. The rooms were adjoining with bathroom between, perfect for us. OJ was good. We loved the tortoise!
Cons: The property was in a hard to find, run down location. Google doesnât like the Medina so use a different app! At least half hour walk to get anywhere interesting. The only person who spoke English was hardly there, and uninterested in our queries. Breakfast was boring and repetitive. Bread butter and jam. Pancake and tiny bowl of fruit. Very strong coffee but lovely OJ. We would not stay again.

Meh, the customer service overall was good, the guy at the front desk that looks like the general manager or someone who is in charge treated us like a second class guesses. We had a 3 and 6 years old but that was not the problem because other families stay there as well. we were trying to pay our transfer arrangement with US dollars instead of euros and the guy was upset that we were not using euros and argue with my husband. No way we had euros since we were from the states. The guy always gave us the vibe that he was giving us a favor of having us staying here. Place is not the best, for the same price you can stay with a better customer service and better location. The good part was that it was at the end of our trip from Morocco so it wonât make a difference. Because we already knew that locals are awesome and friendly. Try other places, not worth your money, specially if you are not an European with Euros

Nothing.
Cons: I had an absolutely terrible experience staying in Marrakech, and I urge others to avoid this property. 1. False Advertising: We booked a four-night stay for a room with a king-sized bed, but upon arrival, we were given two separate full-sized beds. Despite raising this issue, no resolution was provided. 2. No 24-Hour Front Desk: The property claims to have a 24-hour front desk, but this is completely false. Even Booking.com could not reach the property when we contacted them for help at 8 PM. 3. Unsafe and Shady Locality: The area around the property felt extremely unsafe. Groups of men loitered outside openly watching inappropriate content on their phones, making us feel highly uncomfortable. 4. Unprofessional and Aggressive Staff: The property administrator was rude and aggressive. After we received a 57⏠compensation from Booking.com for the inconvenience, the administrator demanded we return the money or leave the property immediately. The situation escalated to the point where they shouted at my fiancĂ©, which was completely unacceptable. This experience was deeply distressing and ruined our stay in Marrakech. I strongly recommend avoiding this property altogether. Itâs unsafe, unprofessional, and does not deliver on its promises. Booking.com should take this property off their platform to protect other travelers from such a nightmare.

Absolutely beautiful rooms and building. The location as with all Medina's is a bit difficult to navigate but once you have got your bearings it's not quite as daunting. The staff were helpful and friendly. It is close to shopping and restaurants.
Cons: The one downside was the room overlooked the courtyard. On our second morning there were some rather loud guests and due to the nature of the building being set round a quadrangle these meant the acoustics were good! It was a bit of a rude awakening. No tea or coffee in the rooms but this seems to be standard in Morocco.

The place was nice, the breakfast was delicious, and it was very clean. I liked the location. I was a bit sceptical before going, but once I was there, I found the location to be good. It's a bit of a walk to the souks and main market (about 10/15 minutes), but it's not too bad. The caretaker of the riad, Ali, was exceptionally helpful. We went on an excursion during our stay and came back late at night. The bus dropped us off at the main market, and Ali came to walk us back to the hotel. He was very kind and lovely. I also had a massage and hamam treatment, I enjoyed it. Overall this riad is great value for money.
Cons: We were requested to change rooms after two nights, and instead of the two single beds we had, we were given a double bed. We were informed that this room would be an upgrade, but it did not feel like one.

The room was much larger than expected, and it offered AC which helped to cool the room in the evening. I also loved the ambience of the riad, which made it feel a bit more authentic.
Cons: I didn't love that there wasn't a proper lock on the door. I also did not like that the shower head had to be held (as in there wasn't a proper wall mount for the shower head).

I really like the decorations of the property. Very beautiful Riad. The staff were friendly and helpful. The smell of the incense is great. I also really liked the smell of the body soap and hand soap. The space of the room was perfect for the price.
Cons: The pool didnât look too clean so we ended up not using the pool. There were hair on our bedsheets so I would prefer if it was cleaner. Not much choices for breakfast but staff were very accommodating with it. The location was pretty good as it is walkable to the market but wasnât happy with the kids and people always standing around the corner.

Beautiful and quiet riad with nice and welcoming personnel. In the morning you wake up with birds chirping on the patio and the smell of coffee. The room was simple but nicely furnished and clean. Breakfast was tasty. Ideal position if you want to stay away from the chaos of the Medina while at the same time being not too far from it (20 mins walk from the main attractions). Highly recommended.

The riad is very nice and has a lot of character as it is so old. Lots of little steps and winding staircases. The rooftop area was great with a few sunbeds and it is all very clean. Lots of birds flying around the courtyard all day looking for bread. The staff are pleasant, but speak little English, not that this matters really. The riad manager is very nice and helpful and speaks good English. It's all very pretty and quaint.
Cons: The breakfast is the same every day, which consisted of one pancake, bread and jam, a very small pot of chopped fruit, and coffee. I think some of this food is a standard Moroccan breakfast, but Europeans generally like to have toasted bread, pastries, fruit, yoghurt, meat, eggs, cereal etc, and like to vary their breakfast each day. The location is also quite a long walk away from the main Jamaa el Fna square (maybe about half an hour or so). The riad is still in the old medina area, but is on the outskirts. We got lost on our way back when we first arrived, and a young man offered to show us the way to the riad. He took us the long way round and then asked for money at the end. We gave him a small amount as hadn't got any small notes, but he made it clear he wasn't happy with this amount saying what we had given him wasn't much in Morocco, and started to intimidate, saying to give money to his friend, (who just appeared out of nowhere). So you just have to get lost around the area, or expect to pay people to guide you in the right direction. The beds in our room were also very firm, but we got used to them after a couple of nights. Not sure if these extra firm beds are what Moroccans generally sleep on!

General staff were nice people. At âŹ50/night it's just about acceptable for Marrakech.
Cons: Rian Nimbus is tired and does not look like the photos! My family stayed 15 years ago but it seems little has been done since then. Not very clean especially in the common areas, pools were filthy, no love and very little maintenance. When we were shown to our room we took our shoes off at the door as always, but the owner and his assistant walked straight in and through the room with their shoes on, this seemed a little disrespectful of our space and pretty inconsiderate as Marrakech isn't exactly a beacon of hygiene. Also unfortunately it was the worst breakfast in our whole Morocco trip. We left a day early and the owner/manager still tried to charge me tourist tax for the night I wasn't staying! Had to have a slightly heated discussion about this which was really unacceptable in terms of customer service.

The night watchman (Ali) was such a lovely, caring person. He bought humour during our stay and made us happy. When we made him aware of the sewage like smell in our accommodation he gave us incense sticks to discard the smell. The other 2 woman (the kitchen staff) were also very accommodating and provided us with what we asked.
Cons: The manager (Mohammed) was not very helpful and did not offer to help us with our luggage or when we did ask for something e.g more towels, he made a song and dance off it and was not done graciously. We needed to print our boarding passes and he jokingly wanted to charge us for this. I felt like he is only money oriented and not people focused unlike the other staff. Besides unhelpful Mohammad, the area was very bad and was more for Moroccan families and not tourism. We requested the taxi driver to walk back home with us at night as we did not feel safe, which fortunately the lovely taxi man did. Lastly, the accommodation itself was poor due to poor facilities. The shower pressure was shocking, I felt like I was not cleaning myself properly. Furthermore the smells within the accommodation was something I have never experienced before. I nearly purchased a peg to protect my nostrils and stop me from passing out. Overall this is the reason for the 3/10 rating. I wish I could have given a higher rating but needed to be transparent for other potential customers.

The Riad is really nice. It is very well laid out, with plenty of sections/ spaces to enjoy the whole property. The staff were amazing and went the entire distance to make me feel comfortable. I am a wheelchair user, but they made it possible for me to get in & out of my room with no problem at all. I plan to be returning to Marrakech in a few months, so I will most certainly be giving this place anther stop and will be recommending it to all my friends as well, that intend to pass through Marrakech.
Cons: I think the rooms need like a phone system to contact staff. Other than that, the place is perfectly amazing.

Riad Nimbus is naturally beautiful, and unpretentious. Sweet welcoming caretaker who was there for me when i needed guidance and a strong hands with my bags. Peaceful, quiet and relaxing. Lovely refreshing garden pool, enjoyed by a few guests at a time. I opted for the best short massage ever. It felt infinite, intuitive, caring knowledgeable and very therapeutic. Slept great even after a long flight from California. Excellent double bed, nice shower, everything clean, including bathroom. Simple lovely breakfast.

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. They made sure we got safely to the Riad after a late flight. They also organised an amazing trip to Ourika Valley and a Hammam at the spa for us. The area was in a lovely friendly location where the locals live, although this was a good 20 + min walk to the attractions/ main square, it felt like a peaceful oasis from the hustle and bustle. The bed was big and comfortable and the en suite was great.
Cons: We stayed for 4 nights in the standard room. Although it was great value for money, we wish we splashed out on a better room as we didn't have a window. However we didn't mind so much as we barely spent time in our room.

we had a great time at the riad! the staff were more than helpful, even though some of them didn't speak full English they did everything they could to help us as best they could. The rooms were attractively and stylishly decorated. The hotel itself has a mega roof terrace with several seating areas, a swimming pool and various seating areas both inside and outside. Within a 20-minute walk you are in the heart of the center, as women we did not feel unsafe in the neighborhood around the riad. The breakfast was good. We also had a massage in the hotel, which was amazing.
Cons: The only downside was the WiFi, which worked very poorly. Incidentally, this was also often the case in other places.

I travelled with my husband and 3 sons just before Christmas 2022. We had a connecting room with en-suites to both bedrooms with hairdryer. My oldest son has a separate single en-suite room very close by. The Riad is about 20 minutes walk from the main square, once you get your bearings. It was peaceful, cool downstairs and lovely to sit upstairs on the roof terrace sipping tea in the sunshine. My youngest loved the pool. Lots of space and rooms so you didnât feel on top of other guests. The housekeeping ladies were charming and other staff friendly and efficient. We would definitely recommend it.
Cons: If I had to give constructive criticism the beds are quite firm and could do with more pillows ( but thatâs only because I like a soft bed and 3 pillows!đ)

Good hospitality from the staff and lovely Riad throughout
Cons: It wasnât immediately clear from the booking advert that there was only going to be 1 bathroom to share, between 4 people, in the suite. There were no images of it either, to see what it was going to look like. All in all, it was okay but, if we knew that was going to be the arrangement (given that we were a group of 4 friends), we probably would have gotten with 2 separate rooms with private bathrooms.

Pros: -A quiet retreat from the hustle and bustle of the city -Scenery is beautiful and calming (there are communal terraces/rooftops with couches and sun decks) -You can wake up to the sounds of the water fountain and birds chirping -Breakfast was nice and pleasant by the fountain -I didn't use it, but there was a pool that looked nice -Staff very friendly and helpful Cons: -The location is hard for a car to get to -The location is a 20+ minute walk from the main square The location is in an alley way and the surrounding streets are scary to walk through alone and at night -Low door frames (banged my head a couple of times) -Bedsheets and towels weren't the cleanest (definitely not by European standards) -Limited cosmetics in the bathroom (there was shower gel+shampoo, but no toothpaste) -WiFi doesn't reach all the communal areas -Scammers near by. They see you're a tourist, take you to the hotel (even when you tell them you don't want them to accompany you) and demand an extortionate amount of money (100 dirham). This is a common problem in Marrakech and not unique to the hotel.

This is a lovely property 10-12 minutes walk from the souks in the old town. It has great terrace and courtyard spaces for relaxed lounging. Mohammed and Hamid at the property are very helpful and your comfort is their main concern. Would definitely recommend this place to friends and family! The breakfast spread consists of Moroccan bread, jams and other spreads, coffee and fresh orange juice which is good and caters to international tourists but I would have loved the option of a more traditional Moroccan breakfast. (but this is not a big deal at all!). We were out in the city for the rest of the day so cannot comment on their other meals.

The riad looks great. I loved the smell of orange flower that greeted me when I came in and I got on well with the staff. However, to my dismay it was very difficult to find my way around outside the riad and I was tormented the first couple days by âguidesâ as I tried to consult my useless map. I highly recommend having a smartphone with Google maps working. I didnât find the people unfriendly or dangerous like some have suggested but I suppose I did find the constant offers of help (in exchange for money) from young men annoying. The other thing is that this area is quite dusty with a lot of diesel fumes, so a person with asthma might want to be careful. Itâs also hard to get a taxi without walking some way as youâre in the Medina. If you want the genuine city experience it is a good place to stay. The only complaint I had about the riad is that the beds were hard, though this is perhaps normal for Marrakech as I havenât stayed anywhere else.

My boyfriend and I stayed at Riad Dar Nimbus for one week. The overall appearance of the Riad is nice, two small pools, with traditional Moroccan style and a large roof terrace. Our room, which was one of the cheaper rooms, was very nice and cleaned daily. However, I did have a few issues with the Riad. Firstly, for most of our stay there was construction on the roof terrace - right above our room starting at roughly 8/9am and continuing throughout the day meaning we couldn't use the terrace until the evening and it was difficult to relax in the Riad during the day. Further to this the location left me feeling at times uneasy (especially as my phone was stolen from a nearby area on the first day). In hindsight I would have chosen to stay elsewhere for a trip of this length. The walk to the medina was about 10 minutes and 25 mins to the square. You can take a taxi to the square for 25-30 Dirham which is a decent price (although the manager Mohamed told us to pay 50 Dirham). One evening we decided to eat at the Riad for dinner (mainly because there are few restaurants nearby) , this cost âŹ30 for two people, in honesty I would not recommend to eat the dinner here. The stater was delicious but we were underwhelmed by both the main and desert and didn't feel it was worth the price. Overall the Riad is nice, however we had issues with the location, help of the manager and the construction during our stay.

We booked this Riad in June because of the high season. After a 4-day tour we arrived here, but they told us they didn't have a place available. Lucky enough I printed the conformation papers. First they told me I was crazy and that this couldn't be right. Second they told me that I had to look for an other place. We didn't agree with that and then the horrible manager told us it was Pierre his fold. He found an other place for just 1 night. But we booked 3 nights here. After we spend one night in an other place he would come with an other riad. He didin't came so we visit Riad Nimbus again. In the afternoon he found an other place for us. There we meet other people that told us the same story. They felt intimidated by the manager. We would advise to not book at this place, since there are more than enough other places in Marrakech that teated you well! So why take the risk of an overbooking...

We booked into this riad because it looked great on-line. And indeed, the riad itself was beautiful. And the food and service were good. However, not included in the description, or at any point in communication with the riad, was the fact that the neighborhood surrounding it is dirty, ragged, and sketchy. Every single time we exited the hotel, with minutes we were accosted by aggressive men trying to be "guides." One said his wife worked at the riad to gain our confidence, so we would use him. That was not true, as we found out. Another man wore an orange vest and claimed to be a parking officer but that he would show us our desired destination as a city service. At the destination he demanded money. We gave him some money and he loudly complained that he needed double that - "for his children." Right. So we paid, since he was making a scene. But the worst was yet to come. The hotel made arrangements to have a guide specifically to take my wife to the souks to shop for some clothing. He would not allow her to go into shops she found interesting but instead directed her to three shops only. As we found out the next day when out bank called, all of the three shops charged huge amounts on her credit card...enough to eventually reach the limit of the card. (The guide had oddly discouraged her from using cash as he said using a card would be "safer." Right.) Our bank then cancelled both the credit card and the ATM card. We were stuck for the remainder of our trip with no money. We had to borrow money from a friend and have my wife's son wire money to us so we could pay for the hotel, meals, and transportation. This was clearly a coordinated scam by the so-called guide in collusion with those shops. All this effectively wrecked any good memories of the trip. We have related this to friends who now have taken that destination off their list of places to visit. It has taken us weeks to correct this situation with our bank and, in the meantime, all our accounts have been frozen. As if to add insult to injury, on a night that we walked back to the hotel from a restaurant, the entire 20 minute walk involved aggressive men yelling out to us from both sides of the narrow lanes, men bumping and jostling us, and other unsavory experiences. What should have been a nice trip to a foreign city is now an ugly and regrettable memory. One conclusion from this is that much of Marrakech's economy involves finding different ways to cheat visitors. Needless to say, despite being world travelers, we will not be returning to that city.

One thing which put us off was the location of the Riad. It was down a narrow alley way off one of the wider alley ways. While coming back at night this attracted a lot of young morrocan males who became quite demanding in terms of asking for money. The Riad is well off the beaten track and despite being the reason we wanted to stay here, we felt that it was a bit secluded for our liking. Had we have known about area of location we would have found a Riad in the Souk which was closer to civilization. On our last night at the Riad we heard the door banging and the door bell ringing franticly. It was in fact one of the guests from the Riad who had been followed down the alley by a group of males who were demanding money from her. She was distressed after the event. The same thing had happened to us and we found ourselves having to push the Riad door shut to keep them from coming in as they were trying to push from outside. For this reason we would prefer not to stay in the Riad in future. ëRiad: The rooms were cosy and clean. We requested two twin beds and the Riad manager fulfilled our request. Overall the property was pleasant and the garden area was relaxing although on the small side. We didnât use the pool though as the water didnât seem that clean. This didnât seem to stop other people from using it. The sunbathing terrace on the roof was tranquil with many lounges available for guests. Arrival: When we arrived the taxi from the airport the taxi dropped us near to to Riad but was unable to give directions to walk to the door. I called the Riad and the manager was happy to send a member of staff to meet us to walk us back to the Riad. We were very grateful because we had been approached by many locals who are willing to show you the way but you can not be sure who to trust. Tip: book your transfer with the Riad. Staff: The staff at the Raid were very polite and accommodating. The manager Mohammed arranged a guide to give us a tour of the Souk which I would definitely recommend. The tour lasted approx. 4hrs and was a great way to experience the maze of the Souk without getting lost. He took us to the Ben Youssef Madrasa and into the museum and we tired the food from the local stalls (best food we tasted in Marrakesh). Mohammed also organized a tour to the mountains in Ourika for us. This was a great tour. Highly recommended. Tip: Wear appropriate footwear for trekking such as trainers or boots not sandals or flip flops. We couldnât rate Mohammed and his staff highly enough for their hospitality and advice. We would like to thank them for making our trip a pleasant one.

We enjoyed a pleasant stay in this beautiful little Riad. The outside facilities are excellent, comprising a small pool and a small dip pool (perfect for soaking your feet in after a long day trudging through the streets of Marrakesh!) The room is relatively basic but has good air conditioning. The staff are very friendly and very helpful. The one real downside - like most Riads in Medinas in Morocco - is that it is quite difficult to locate and even more difficult to find your way back to of an evening. However, a few dirham seems quite suitable to one of the local boys who will show you the way if you get lost!

The Riad was beautiful, the rooms were nice and clean. We arrived before check in time but the staff allowed us to leave our bags in the hotel until the room was available. The pool looked quite nice although we never swam in it. There were turtles on the grounds, which were quite friendly and one of them was happy to receive pats. The location was within the MĂ©dina area but more of a local residential housing area than the touristy bit which made it quieter. The walk to the souks wasnât very long and was close to some restaurants. The breakfast at the Riad was on par with other riads we went to.

Lovely riad, good value for money. As 1st timers to Marrakech we found the location not ideal as initially difficult to find our way back and situated in an area which was very local. Tbh, a little daunting for us in the 1st few evenings. Rooms are basic, however nicely decorated. All the staff try their best to make your stay enjoyable. They are all very friendly & made the best dinner we had in all the nights & different places we dined at! Highly recommend having dinner there!

We had a wonderful 3 night stay here. We enjoyed the hammam and massage in he spa as well as a cooking lesson in the Riad. The food was delicious, breakfast every day and dinner on 2 nights. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The Riad also arranged our taxi to and from the airport. The roof terrace is beautiful and considering it is in the medina it is very peaceful. We would definitely stay again at this property. Thank you to all staff for a wonderful stay :)

The riad is inside the medina, but is very peaceful and quit. Great decoration. All the rooms had heater. The breakfast was wonderful with fresh fruit and orange juice. The Staff was very helpful, made us breakfast at 4 a.m.

Riad is comfortable, location has a very local feel, not many tourists and only 15-20 mins walk to Medina centre. Free WIFI not the best, however we were out every day so did not make a fuss. The staff are the best attributes and we recommend having dinner prepared by the Riad since we found that their meal was one of the best tasting we had in Marrakech! Also, best to book an airport transfer with Riad as it is not easily found if not familiar with area.

Lovely Riad on the edge of the Medina in the Bab Taghzout area .Nice roof terrace to catch some sun , a lovely breakfast area and plenty of areas to relax and lounge . About 15 to 20 min walk to the Main square and after a couple of trips you soon find your way round but half the fun is getting a bit lost and discovering new areas . All the staff are very polite and pleasant .Only small problem we had was the bed was 2 singles together and would have preferred a double bed. Would highly recommend !

We spent 3 nights recently at this Riad. This cannot be beaten for helpful staff, peaceful/cool, relaxing interior. Great welcome - met at Airport with luxury car, staff in uniform guided us safely to the Riad down a maze of streets. Traditional interior, old (beamed) building. Nice courtyard with useable pool, tortoises on the grass, lovely upper terraces with views of palm trees. Perfect if you just want to relax and not go out. Near Majorelle Gardens in the New Town (20 min walk). Extremely helpful staff - tea served in separate sitting rooms with good wifi and excellent sofas etc. However if you are someone who wants to be in the "buzz" of the centre of Marrakesh near souks, markets, people, Jmaa n fna etc, then may be too far away as is a 20-25 minute walk down quite maze like streets to get to the "action". There is one good restaurant nearby (Limona) - hopefully more will spring up as this is a little pricey. We ended up taking a 5 min walk to the "Petit Taxi Rank" at the Bab Targzout to take low cost ÂŁ2 taxis to the centre of the town around the edge of the Medina - and would recommend this as the best way to get around from this Riad.

Really it's a boutique hotel just masquerading as a b&b. Tucked away in a corner of the Medina I wasn't sure if I could find it but the staff came to where I was and brought me to the hotel pointing out landmarks along the way. A real find! Highly recommended

Ida & Maja

I couldn't speak more highly about this Riad. It was absolutely beautiful. You come out of the medina into a sanctuary. There are two courtyards with rooms around each. It was full the whole time we were there but as there were so many little corners to sit in, we felt we were the only people there. It's like walking into another secret world. We sunbathed quite a bit and there were different roof terraces so you were always in a different area. This didn't really matter as again we seemed to be the only people there. The staff are absolutely amazing. I loved how personal the service was. There was no signing or paying if you needed a drink, everything was settled at the end without even having to say which room you were in. It's in the perfect location. We spent equal time in the medina and the new town and it was ideal to walk to both or to get taxis. The area seemed really safe. The Riad was probably the safest I've ever felt as only guests had access. You could probably have left your door unlocked and it would have been fine. The only negative I would say was that the shower could be a bit temperamental. If I go back to marrakech this is the only place I would stay.

Riad was beautiful, spacious and clean . Plenty of space and comfortable areas to rest and relax. We arrived way before booking in time but as rooms were ready were able to move into immediately. Made use of the pickup service from airport, on your webste reported cost stated was for round trip, told that was not so by manager. Also all prices are stated in Euros but the bill is then converted to local currency and if you pay by credit card a 3% surcharge is added. We chose to eat the evening meals at the Riad, the best one being the result of the cooking lesson. It is incredibly hard to find and despite the map we were given managed to get hopelessly lost. The use of a guide to go shopping in the souks, visit museum etc was invaluable. This was arranged through the hotel as were other trips out. The staff were friendly and even when arriving late for meal, dinner was still provided.

We had a wonderful stay at this riad. We arrived to our booked airport pickup, it was 120dh, a good price and you also get personally met and then escorted the last 500m by foot to the hotel. We had dinner for 15euro - the food is incredible, 3 courses of so of the most delicious food weve eaten! On arrival the manager met us, he is constantly available and helpful, he gave us a map and then escorted us to the start of the souks, then he sees if you can get back! but it is easy. there are also a few dairy's close by to buy water etc. The riad is approx 20min from the big square, best seen from 7pm on as it fills up - you will be hustled with fun, although if you photograph entertainers you will have to pay a few dirham. keep change for this and tips at food stalls as the price is the advertised plus 20dh for starters and a tip The nimbus was very clean and comfortable, air conditioned, wifi, great breakfast although not GF.many nooks to relax. The only downside was that a group came so we were moved next door to the other riad where the best was not as comfy or clean and the aircon not as good, but it was our last night so it was ok. breakfast etc and payment was still the same Definitely book a hamman, its upstairs and its alot cheaper than the other ones, local ones are cheap but DIY.for 10euro i had a sauna (very hot) then was washed with the soap and scrubbed i felt amazing! let them know in advance so they can heat it up. a wonderful stay in all and great value! thanks!

Such a Beautiful find, we stayed for two nights in the Riad and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Riad Dar Nimbus. The room and bathroom were a great size, well kept, clean and nice interior design. There was a lovely roof top which we spent hours relaxing in the sun. Food was excellent!! We ate dinner both nights in the Riad and enjoyed both meals so much, amazingly cooked meals! We found it difficult being two girls without a male present to walk around the old town. Everyone is very friendly in the Riad and looked after us during our stay. Ali made sure that we knew where we were going by drawing us maps, would walk with us to make sure we would remember the unmarked streets and pathways of the town back to the Riad. It is very confusing to make our way from the Riad to Jemaa el-Fnaa and we got lost there and back. We also unfortunately had some children persistently harassing us for money to and from our Riad. After this, Ali would walk with us to make sure we weren't bothered again - a really lovely man who really took care of us while we were staying there. I would definitely recommend Riad Dar Nimbus!!

Super accueil, bonnes prestations.

Bad location with no immediate parking. The parking that was recommended is 400metres away and not advised due to the haggling over an agreed price. Hotel clean, quaint and overall nice, but service severely lacking. Early breakfast (7am) requested in advance, but no staff to provide. Requested manager to contact us regarding this issue, nothing heard since. Nice but definitely not again.

While the riad had many beautiful outdoor patios, the host didn't tell us about them. We had to wander around and find them ourselves...after a day of missing out on them. Once discovered, we were thrilled! There were numerous romantic nooks, with plush pillows and low tables. The breakfast was simple, but adequate in a very chic setting. The neighborhood was pretty rough, but the riad itself was an oasis after long days of fighting crowds in Marrakkech. We discovered also that our host would guide other guests to dinner in the medina. He didn't mention this to us either. Definitely take advantage of this feature as walking back to the riad late at night can be sketchy.
