I like how the lady’s cleaned my room everyday.
Cons: The breakfast was so basic. It needs an upgrade for the price we pay. Also they do not mention to you any water given to you or any other hot chocolates you get at the end of the night they charge you for it at the end of the stay. I absolutely hated Marrakesh in general cos of the weather and not much to do but overall riads are not for me

- Staff is very friendly and helpful. - Location is good, near to centre and good for people with luggage not to go through the madinah aisles.

Rachida and Hafid were both great and gave the best service for us. Really enjoyed our stay and their breakfast. They always kept our bed nice and tidy and changed towels each day as we stayed for a week and the pool was great and we all had so much fun and can’t wait to come back again. Really loved this place they take care of you as your their family. We also took their massage which was one of the best decisions I took as it was one of the best massages I’ve had.

We had an amazing stay at Riad Fabiola. The staff were incredibly welcoming and gave us a real feel for traditional Moroccan hospitality. The service was excellent throughout. The mint tea was the best we had on our trip and breakfast by the pool each morning was a real highlight. The riad was a peaceful escape from the busy medina and a real authentic experience. There were lots of spaces to relax outside of your room which we enjoyed using as sun spots. Highly recommend!
Cons: A few things to note - we stayed in a family room and found that some of the beds weren’t particularly comfortable. The riad is located about a 15-minute walk from the city centre, in a quieter, less touristy area, which meant we were a bit cautious walking back at night. It’s located down an alley and the exterior is quite plain - you have to knock to be let in, and while the door isn’t always staffed in the late evening, we never waited more than five minutes. Still, this setup did cause some concern when returning late as a group of girls.

Cons: Be aware for scams. Someone we thought who worked at the property led us to the Riad then demanded money. His friend got quite verbal and it wasn’t a pleasant experience. Not so much about Riad itself but we felt the staff could have done more to reassure us/ diffuse the situation. Our room was on the street side too which was quite noisy.

Wonderful staff who were friendly and accommodating. The road itself is beautiful, we had a suite which was lovely but it was a little cramped for the 5 of us (2 adults and 3 children). The food was really exceptional at the riad, we had lunch 2 days there, wish we could have tried dinner! Pool was lovely and refreshing for a dip! The riad is a little way out of the centre, which is fine really and it’s not a bad walk in, just a little busy on the main stretch of road (which was only really a bit more stressful because we have young kids)

The property itself was reasonable but I would advise you to not be totally reliant on the images and pictures of the rooms or you will be disappointed. The breakfast is reasonable but don’t expect it to be like a hotel.
Cons: It is quite a distance from Menara Mall so if like us you want to be near the city centre then you will have to rely on taxis. A word of caution in taxis we used the Careem App and Indrive App both are reasonable but we had a bad experience with Indrive who did not have any change? And wanted to charge 100 dirhams and keep the change for a 52 dirhams journey.

Beautiful space, nice and quiet.
Cons: There needs to be a menu with drink / food options so we can see what we’re having. Also we requested breakfast to be at 7am as we had an early day (and they said it could be) and no one was there in the end, so we had to go on our desert tour without having any food until 2pm! :(

The Riad was beautiful with a lovely pool. We had a suite which was perfect for us, with 2 rooms separated by the shower and toilet. Due to our tight schedule, we didn’t have chance to enjoy it to the fullest, and so we wished we had longer there, but we were very comfortable. The staff were very helpful, arranging transport for an early departure to the airport and then walking with us to the pick up point at 6.30am.

This riad was very good for our stay in Marrakech, the employees Samir and Zakaria were very friendly and attentive to us, not to mention the helpfulness of the services, always willing to help us. relatively, the quality of the food was excellent, not to mention that you can also order whatever you want to eat and they cook it. It is also possible to take advantage of leisure services such as: swimming pool, massages, Moroccan bath, among other things, the bedrooms they are just perfect. It is also possible to be on 2 rooftops that the Riad has where it is quite good to start a conversation from day to night. Incredible environment and we can only thank you! Thaís def the best Riad in Marrakech!!!

We had an amazing experience at this Riad in Marrakech. The amenities were excellent, and the entire staff was incredibly friendly. The Riad itself is stunning and cozy, with exceptional food and beautiful, clean surroundings. There are plenty of leisure and relaxation spaces. A special thank you to Neuza, who was always so kind and attentive. She gave us great suggestions for activities and was genuinely excited to hear about our adventures every day. Highly recommended!
Cons: What we liked the least was the delay in meal preparation (which we noticed is common in Marrakech), but everything was always delicious. The rooms are not very soundproof, but this is normal due to the structure of the Riad. The shower also had low pressure. However, none of this interfered with the fantastic experience we had at the Riad.

Amazing Riad! The entire riad was so clean and beautiful, it even smelled very nice. The food was great, the decor was beautiful. The staff were amazing. They all went above and beyond to make sure we had a good time. Zakaria set up taxis and made sure we got to the taxi and got home safely each time. I’ve never had any hotel staff be this caring and attentive. I will definitely recommend this Riad to anyone I know in the future!
Cons: Only complaint is that the wifi does not work in the rooms. Only works in the main common area.

Cons: Staff cannot speak English at all, very difficult to communicate. Zachary was very blunt and rude. There was no iron which made things difficult. From the outside, it doesn’t look like you’d be staying at such a gorgeous place! The Riad is well looked after and clean. Staff are extremely friendly and welcoming. I stayed in room Anis with family and woke up to catch the sun rising a few times, it was such a calming experience. It’s a nice escape from the busy streets outside. It’s also a short walk to the Souk and Jemaa el-Fnaa which is a great way to get familiar with the surroundings.
Cons: It’s a really nice place. Just some facilities like the water pressure in the shower was intermittent, but I think this depends on the time of day and how the water is being used across the building. But otherwise no complaints, all other facilities were great.

I loved the design of the pool area, had such an authentic feel to it! Food was lovely & amazing quality.
Cons: We chose to stay in a traditional Riad for the reviews of incredible service, however majority of the staff were not welcoming at all, and actually made us feel very uncomfortable at times. Didn’t make us aware of any details in the area, huge language barrier and expected us to be able to speak French which unfortunately we do not. Making faces, rolling of the eyes, sighing when we asked questions. 2 ladies that did our Hammams for us were amazing, but we didn’t see much of them. Visited in Ramadan and I think they should have probably closed for this period, as they didn’t have the energy or capacity to host guests at this time. No menus for food or drinks. The service was not great at all, and for this reason we wouldn’t stay again.

Good location and beautiful traditional riad
Cons: Unfortunately the room we’ve stayed in (Safron) was horrible in terms of noise from the outside. The room was right by the main stairs where everyone was passing and the door had gaps in them as well as windows only having wooden shutters. As a result I haven’t slept almost at all for 3 nights as other guests were loud outside and the room didn’t provide any soundproofing. Unfortunately despite the hotel being beautiful I wouldn’t stay again as the lack of sleep is the worst during travel

A perfect location near the medina. The staff were excellent and very attentive, making us feel at home. The breakfast and dinner was delicious, I also highly recommend the spa! Overall a brilliant stay, I would go back.

We loved the interiors of the public areas of this riad! The pool was the best feature, and the various areas to relax around the riad and the roof terrace were also lovely. The staff were very attentive too.
Cons: Our room looked a bit different to the photos that I had seen when booking this place, so was slightly smaller and darker than we were expecting. I also found it quite noisy and didn't sleep well while we stayed here unfortunately - our room was right by the stairs/corridor and as the windows just had wooden shutters, you could hear noise from the street and stairway, and other guests in the riad. I also hadn't realised when I booked this riad that it was right next to a mosque, so the daily calls to prayer were very loud and woke us up each night - completely appreciate this is part of the culture but it's just something I would be more aware of when selecting accommodation if I return to Morocco.

The pool looks nice, beakfast 3/5 and stuff “can” be polite sometimes.
Cons: we changed 2 rooms because of cockroaches 🪳 The stuff said that it was normal to have them since we are in morroco. (wtf?) pool is dirty and they forgot to clean it. neighbourhood is very dangerous - full of shady people. Everything except the air you breath is chargeable (but they dont tell you that untill the end) it is easier to get a lottoo than to take a bath since water pressure is non-existant. mosque is just next to the riad so you will wake up 2 times every night.

Had a nice pool area, rooms were clean, staff were helpful.
Cons: Too far away from the main square around 20 min walk in the old medina and down alleyways. The roads nearby were not suitable for walking either and was in the locals area. It was very loud to stay in we couldn’t get any decent nights sleep as people from the riad had to knock to get in sometimes at 2/3/4 am knocking really loudly, the walls are paper thin can hear toilets bathrooms of other users and passers by (it’s in an area where the locals live so you’ll hear children and families in the morning shouting and screaming). Pillows were really hard and uncomfortable, room was tiny and the bathroom could’ve done with some TLC shower was powerful but just looked really worn down. The AC was really loud too and couldn’t turn it off as the remote wasn’t working, no TV or appliances in the rooms. Breakfast was Ok, could’ve had more choice only msemen offered and it’s rotated day by day with bghrir, however we did ask for eggs and the man made us some.

Cons: Drains blocked and smelt. Was VERY loud in the building. Could hear conversations in any of the rooms above or next to us. Got no WiFi in our room. Riad Fabiola has a really nice architecture and design. The interior of every room is different. It has a wonderful rooftop terrace with lots of space to chill.

the location was good
Cons: 1. I couldn't use wifi in my room. I tried to say about it, but he didn't check again. Even the 4G :( So when I want to use a phone, I should go outside of my room. 2. The hot water is only for 20 minutes. So my sister and me couldn't take a shower when we want. 3. The boss was kind at the fist time, So I tried to understand number 1 and 2 problems. But, when we check out, there were some terrible situations. We should pay the city tax by cash. He didn't tell about it before. We didn't have DH. Because today is our last day. So I told him that I want to pay by card. But He said No. But some minutes later, we could pay by card. Why he didn't allow it at first? And he had wrong calculation. We just stayed 3 nights but he charged us for 4 nights. Also when we arrived the hotel I asked him if you have water. And he gave us one water. But when we check out, he charged 20 DH for 1 water. I thought it was free. Because he didn't say anything at that time. So I don't want to recommend this hotel :(

The location directly in the Medina is great! From the road it takes you only 10 minutes to go to the central square. At the same time the location is quite calm taking into concern that a mayor road is nearby. The staff is courteous and kind, but not organized and reactive. The cook and the cleaning lady are the sunshine of the place and try their best to host you professionally. The AC/heating in rooms worked correctly. At our dinner table the staff put in the fireplace, which was cozy. The authentic marrocan style of the riad is lovely and the view from the roof top terrace is great.
Cons: Furnishings of the rooms need maintenance: Bathroom tabs are loose and lime-scaled, when taking a shower the bathroom gets flooded, bed didn’t fit a tall person (1,85m). Due to an open roof the riad was cold, even though there was a cover installed. Lounge/table area quite chilled - need more heating. Kind staff, but definitely lack of organization and awareness. Tables and seating not cleaned after previous guests. Not a European 4-star experience. Best about the hotel is the authentic style and view - hosts need training and more staff for kitchen, cleaning, service etc. Touristic excursions are cheaper booked online/in town, that through the riad (~50€ vs. 125€).

The riad is beautiful, lovely pool area and the roof terrace has a beautiful view over Marrakech. The breakfast was very good, as was the evening meal.
Cons: Our room had a really, really bad smell (room top on the stairs on the left). It made it very difficult to stay in! The hosts didn’t speak much English, so it was a little challenging to communicate - but that’s on us! At night it was very noisy, so we didn’t get much sleep!

Beautiful pool area, clean rooms, and very friendly cleaning lady.
Cons: Pressure in shower is really poor to wash your hair. Breakfast all days was same, but enough. One manager do not speak in English, and that was hard to communicate about payment. First he wanted to charge us for 7 days, but we have stayed only 4. Payment for stay is possible by card, but other things needed to be paid in cash. Location its Ok, but not safe during dark time for two women.

The Riad Fabiola is a very nice riad in the Moroccan style. The pool is amazing and the rooftop as well, with a 360° view of the city. It is a very relaxing place delightfully furnished and with a magnificent aesthetic. A very good introduction so far but the best thing of the riad that makes it stand from the others are the people working there. First of all the manager and Rashida (hopefully I wrote in the correct way) made sure we had an amazing welcome and with their kindness they helped us solving every issue that we had. The other ladies that work there were super nice as well and, since I was travelling with my grandma that has issues in walking, they helped me in getting her on the stairs till the first floor. It really felt to be at home. Also my mum did an Hammam massage and she was super satisfied with that, so it is super recommended to try that. Overall it was a super good experience and for sure I will come back there! I recommend this place if you travel with family, elder people and kids as it is super quiet and relaxing.
Cons: The suite that we had was not really a suite but more 2 rooms with a shared toilet as a corridor between the two rooms. So basically if we had to go to the toilet we had to close two doors but one of them didn't really close because the door lock was broken, so I would suggest to fix that little issue. Also I would suggest to improve a bit the breakfast as for me personally was not enough and it is a shame since everything was so great.

- Hospitality; - Hotel’s staff was very welcoming; - The building is silent (especially the pool area) despite the “caos” outside; - We did not hear street noise from our room (it is more distanced and in the 3rd floor when compared with other rooms). - I had food poisoning and they helped me.
Cons: - The breakfast is a bit weak; - When eating breakfast, a lot of bees show up. Of course that while it may not disturb others, I have bee fear. - Some of the hotel staffs do not speak English, however, they tried to help with anything.

Small, dinghy room in a poor state of repair. So poorly lit that there was insufficient light to read a book. Bathroom was dark grey concrete walls with a worn concrete floor. Reception insisted that key was left with them when we went out. We had fifty pounds stolen from our room. (Brother in next door room had £200 stolen!) Situated in a very run down area of Marrakech. Twice we had to ward off pick pockets when negotiating the route to the main square. Once asked the Riad Manager to arrange a taxi for us. We were charged double the normal fare. Breakfast was very basic. Only positives were comfortable roof area; fresh orange juice, good coffee and cold beer for sale.

This place is simple but excellent ! The staff is simply great and very accommodating. They are very friendly, they try their best to keep you happy. My friends tried their Hammam and loved it. Sadly we didn’t dine there but their food looked good. The place is authentic, so it’s rather simple small organization type where workers know one another closely, not a modern big operation institution. I really encourage people to give it a try.

The hotel staff, especially Aziz and Rashida were very helpful. Not a great start as we were left waiting at the airport for almost an hour and a half waiting for a taxi that the Riad had booked for us which wasn't a great start. Riad is nice and traditional and simple as expected and staff were friendly. Room was large with aircon which is definitely required. The towels were very old and had very frayed edges and only one per guest. Marrakech in the Medina is really interesting and the people are very courteous but be very careful where you eat as there are flies in swarms all over most of the food and I became very ill. Food is very disappointing as every restaurant sells the same Tajin's which are bland and very, very dry and overcooked or kebabs which are again dry and overcooked and that is it on the food front, just those two choices. Oh and if you are staying in the Medina there is NO alcohol other than in the Riad's if they have a license. Our's charged €3 per 25cl bottle for Moroccan beer which is equivalent to about £9-10 a pint which is extortion.

From the Riad it's about a 20 minute walk to Jamma El Fnna and Souks. Bahia Palace is about a 15 minute walk. You can take the tour bus at the bottom of the Jamma El Fnna market to the Yves Saint Laurent / Majorelle Garden. This has two routes and is a cheap way of getting around and seeing the sights. The tickets last for 48 hours and you can hop on or off at any stop point. You can find some amazing bargains but be prepared to haggle it's fun. Make sure your bags on your front although it doesn't happen often there are a few chancers out there who will try to go down your bag. On the whole we had an amazing experience and would recommend Marrakesh to everyone. It is a sensory wonder of colour, smells, sounds and tasts.

We woke up to find dead cockroaches in the bathroom 2 of the 3 mornings we were at the Riad. The central courtyard was beautiful but there was a plastic tarp covering it and it looked like it had been there for sometime. That really took away from enjoying the courtyard. Booked a day trip tour to see 5 waterfalls in the Atlas Mountains through the riad, but it wasn’t actually a tour of the waterfalls it was just a ride to the town near the waterfall. When we refused to pay extra for ‘driver recommended’ tour guide, we were told we had 50 minutes to hike to the waterfalls ourselves and he’d leave with or without us. We only managed to see the first of the five waterfalls in the time allotted. The full hike to see all 5 was atleast 2 hours. The breakfasts included with the stay were simple yet delightful and we had dinner at the riad one night...it was amazing.

Lovely Riad not far from the main Jema el Fnaa square. Only issue was with the shower. The water did not drain in ours, and it was not nice having to stand in your own bathwater everyday we showered. (Probably a piping issue at that time) Besides that, the hosts were lovely, the food was great, the comfort was amazing and the Hammam spa was undeniable. Really great riad in Marrakech.

The Riad is very nice with a small pool (not for swimming though) in the middle and palm trees around it. Everything was very clean, Hammam was very nice but the best is the staff. They are very helpful people and Aziz is a great host. I can also only recommend the dinner there. We have been to more good restaurants (Salama, Argana) but they were all topped by the food in the Riad. Same counts for Aziz's mint tea. A hint: instead of organising all trips (Camel tour, walking tour guide etc) by yourself, arrange them via the Riad. They know the people and everything works. When we booked trips ourselves, it was horrible and never really worked well.

A fantastic clean tidy riad. Good facilities in a pleasant oasis of calm in an otherwise manic city. Staff in the riad were all friendly and welcoming giving a personal touch to the care of their guests. In particular Aziz, who is also a fantastic cook along with the rest of his team, appeared to go out of his way to ensure his guests absolute happiness. The trips arranged on request by the staff were also amazing and well organised. A fantastic holiday made possible and facilitated by the staff and setting of this beautiful and well located riad a stone throw from all the major attractions of the madina.

We stayed for 8 nights. We booked excursions with the riad the day we arrived and they were set up for whatever day we needed. We would be greeted by friendly staff whenever we arrived and they were always checking on our stay and altered times for our breakfast to accommodate for our early morning excursions. The room was beautiful and the staff were incredibly helpful. They offered lunch and dinner services which are cheap and on par with most good restaurants in Marrakech. Would definitely recommend.

We loved our stay here and the hotel staff made it even better especially the lady (I forgot to ask her name, the one with the glasses and curly short hair). Good location in terms of its distance from the Medina (5-8mins walk), however it would be difficult to find without a guide. Everyone was so nice and patient with us despite being extremely loud every night. The atmosphere in the hotel was peaceful. The food that they serve is actually better than the ones we found outside (set menu) and they are greatly priced too.

The riad itself was lovely! Friendly staff, beautifully decorated, and peacefully quiet. We stayed in one of the suits - plenty big enough for 3 people, and cleaned daily, however the lighting was very poor and meant getting ready in the near dark at night! The pool was a perfect accompaniment for time spent sunbathing and relaxing on the terrace, and there was always enough seats! However, this was somewhat spoilt by the location... Whilst being an easy and short walk to the main square (15mins) as a group of 3 female travellers there wasn't a trip there or back where we didn't feel threatened. The constant harassment, stares, comments we experienced in the area was extrememly unsettling. We even got followed back to the riad one evening by a group of boys who insisted on convincing us we were lost and found another on the roof of the riad watching us sunbathing! Attempting to (unsucceffully) hide himself. Again, the room and hotel itself, staff and service, was excellent, though I feel any young female travellers should be aware that the harassment on the streets leading to the main square doesn't make for a relaxing stress free holiday experience!

We stayed here at the beginning of July for three nights - just a short break in the city. The Riad is a little on the outskirts of the centre of town, but it is very quiet and a lovely place to relax after a busy day. It is about a 15 minute walk to the square and it's fairly straight forward. The small plunge pool keeps the downstairs of the riad very cool, and it is relatively shaded. The roof terrace is boiling in the day, and a lovely place to sit in the sun if you need a break from the city. It also has some lovely views. There is plenty of spaces to sit and read and relax. The breakfast is simple but tasty. Breads, jam, pancakes/crumpets, fresh orange juice and tea/coffee. There is a small hammam there, but we didn't use it. Our room wasn't huge, but that meant the AC kept is nice and cool. They include a double bed (relatively comfy) and an en suite. They are decorated very traditionally. The shower in our room wouldn't hook onto the wall, so you had to hold the head of the shower, but this didn't really matter to us much. Overall, we were pleased with the riad and it was definitely one of the highlights of our trip.

The only thing that really let this Riad down must be bathroom, as it was rather dark and water splashing everywhere. Breakfast was lovely, absolutely wonderful and helpfull staff. Unfortnetely not many sun-beds (two only on the top of the roof) and its not much else to do if its really hot. As perhaps all Riads in Marrakesh, this one is not esay to find (get map app, or GPS on your phone), you alwasy will find somebody in street to hep you with directions, but be prepared to pay, and they always insist to get as much as possible (we gave 20DH).

This is a gorgeous riad about 15 minutes walk from the main square. The staff could not have been more helpful or friendly. Aziz, the manager, was particularly charming. Our room was stunning. If your looking for a truthful review carry on reading. Situated just a 15min walk from the famous Jemaa al fna (main square) Riad Fabiola has been an amazing experience. The staff are helpful and always met your needs. I dont have one negative thing to say about them. I miss them. Breakfast started 8:30am - 10:30am and they served the delicious food including omlettes, bread, choice of jam, choice of tea, crumpets and cakes, not forgetting their freshly squeezed orange juice. We were joined by tiny birds who would hum tunes whilst we enjoyed breakfast and conversing with others staying at the hotel.. sharing experiences and information was very helpful. The manager, a brilliant english speaking lady and Aziz, english speaking man were absolutely brilliant. They gave us a map and circled points of interest and gave us vital information like short routes, taxi prices and just information on aspects important for tourists. The walk from the hotel to Jamee al fna was pleasant, it was difficult the first day as it seemed a long walk and motorbikes and donkeys would pass constantly. but by the 2nd day i was totally fine and enjoyed the walk making friends every day as we passed the same shops and houses. The locals are so friendly and would give up any amount of time to help you or direct you. I felt totally safe even walking down 12am in the morning.. Shops dont close until very late so we were always out till late and always felt safe. The rooms were gorgeous

we were greeted warmly with a complimentary mint tea, a map and answers to any questions we had. We did not make use of the plunge pool as both the weather and the water were too cold! The room was pleasant and the bed was extremely comfy. Plenty of hot water and clean towels. The mile walk up to the main square is an interesting walk and depending on the time of day the street looks and feels completely different so we did not tire of the route. There is a restaurant half way up on the right hand side in a small square - DO NOT EAT there. He claims his mother does the cooking and has all the spiel but as soon as you have ordered he loses interest in you and then served up the worst food of our whole trip. Enjoy the hustle and bustle and take the constant attempts to guide you in your stride and you'll have a great time knowing you can return to the tranquillity of the Riad when needed.

To enter the hotel, you walk off a central, bustling road and onto a cobbled street. A star shaped lantern marks the entrance to the otherwise hidden Riad. On entering, you are welcomed into a small reception area. The manager, greeted us by name, having known the expected arrival time. As soon as you walk into the central terrace you are taken aback by the beauty of the place. The pool in the centre reflects light around the terrace. Its beautiful. We arrived early in the morning and our room was not quite ready so we were shown up to the roof terrace and given a glass of steaming hot Morrocan mint tea. From the terrace you can see across the tops of the medina, all the way to the Minaret in the centre of the main square. The room itself was pretty enough, the only thing that let it down was the small camp bed set up next to the double, it was not a triple room as described. Also being February, it got quite cold at night and the lack of heating in the room was noticeable. This wouldn't have been a problem later in the year. Breakfast was traditional and yummy, although if you are in a rush or like to eat quickly expect to wait. When enjoying a relaxing break however, the timing is fine. Overall a lovely, friendly place to enjoy a short city break. Moments from the souks; without the noise!

The riad was clean and beautiful. The location is about a 10-15 minute walk to the main square which includes walking through a busy market. The riad is ideal for people who aren't interested in going out at night as this can be a hassle as the area is very quiet at night. Wifi only works in reception!!! Overall very beautiful...

Though a bit out of the way, Riad Fabiola is only about a 20 minute walk to jama al-fana square, the centre of all action in Marrakesh. If you have an iPhone you can use the map feature to navigate the labyrinthine streets through the souk. The area gives you a real feel of Marrakesh away from the tourist ghettos. The manager is really friendly and helpful. He booked a cab for us to go to Chez Ali in the evening, as well as other activities. Breakfast was good. I stayed there with my wife and two young kids. It was perfectly safe.
