£I am a retired travel agent and have travelled the world for 50 years and i can safely say this establishment is the worst i have ever experienced I booked what i was told was a suite costing £100 a night I paid a £250 deposit in advance Upon arrival by down a narrow alleyway i was shown to my so called suite There was a double door to the room secured by a bolt and a padlockThe doors could not be secured from the inside as the bolt and keeper didn't fit The room (suite?😂) was dark and dingy poorly decorated with a couple of dirty scruffy mats on a tiled floor The room was about 20ft wide with a double bed at one and a very small single bed to the left at the other end (the beds were rock hard you might as well be sleeping on the floor)The so called bathroom was at the end of the room a toilet sink and shower in a very confined space.There were no amenities apart from a small roof terrace I decided to check out the following morning and they demanded a total of £500 before they would let me leave They were quite intimidating and my son who was with me begged me to pay them rather than have any trouble I stayed in another Riad the previous year at half the price and it was a palace in comparison Do not confuse this place with the Riad Andallaspa they are two totally different establishments I would strongly recommend you give this place a miss How there are favourable reviews on this place is a complete mystery to me

Très beau Riad qui est bien situé près de la place Jemaa el Fna. Les chambres sont confortables, calmes et bien équipées. La décoration est superbe. Le personnel est toujours souriant, très accueillant et attentionné. Le petit-déjeuner en terrasse est excellent, très copieux et varié. Nous avons vue sur les montagnes enneigées de l’Atlas Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans ce Riad.

L'emplacement dans la Médina tout près de la place Djemaa El Fna est un privilège. Les petits déjeuners pris sur la terrasse du toit sont copieux et le personnel est à l'écoute de nos goûts et de nos besoins. Quelques désagréments avec des odeurs désagréables dans une des chambres.
Cons: J'avais réservé les 2 chambres simples. Une odeur d'égout dans une des chambres, a été dérangeante. On nous a conseillé de laisser la bonde de la douche fermée en journée, mais malgré tout, l'odeur arrivait à se diffuser. L'autre chambre est située juste à côté de l'accueil, il vaut mieux avoir des boules Quies pour ne pas être dérangé par le passage des clients et du personnel, surtout le matin.

Siamo arrivati all’una di notte e siamo stati accolti con grande gentilezza. Ci hanno accompagnato fino al riad, dimostrando fin da subito grande disponibilità e cortesia. Durante tutto il soggiorno sono state sempre molto attente e premurose. Ci è piaciuto davvero tutto, in particolare la colazione, che era semplicemente perfetta. Il giorno della partenza siamo dovuti uscire molto presto, in piena notte, ma hanno avuto la premura di prepararci anche una colazione da portare via, un gesto davvero apprezzato. Very nice location and great amenities! The staff truly went above and beyond to make our stay special—especially when we dropped off our bags earlier in the day and later found them already waiting in our room at check-in. Such a thoughtful touch. Would love to come back one day!
Cons: A little tricky to find initially, as Google and Apple Maps led us in different directions. That said, once we figured it out and followed signs for Riad Persephone, it was easy to locate Riad Andalla for the remainder of our stay.

Uns hat einfach alles gefallen in diesem Riad. Nach dem lärmigen Besuch in Marrakech war der Rückzug ins Riad Andalla jedes mal wie nachhause kommen. Würden wir noch einmal nach Marrakech reisen, würden wir ausschliesslich dort übernachten. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich aber nicht aufdringlich und nicht gekünstelt. Sie leben den Tourismus wirklich und sind sehr authentisch, hilfsbereit und immer für einen Schwatz zu haben. Auch wenn das Riad so nahe am Platz Djemnaa el Fna ist, ist es extrem ruhig im Zimmer. Da die Moschee in der Nähe ist, hört man morgens das Gebet, ist aber in keiner Weise unangenehm. Auf der wunderschönen und gemütlichen Terrasse kann man das Gewusel von Weitem beobachten. Das Frühstück ist typisch marokkanisch und war gut - das Abendessen hervorragend. Zwei mal mussten wir vor 08:00 los und bekamen anstandslos einmal ein Doggybag mit auf den Weg und einmal durften wir vor 08:00 frühstücken - trotz Ramadan. Wir haben uns wirklich pudelwohl gefühlt.
Cons: Betrifft uns nicht aber dennoch möchte ich das hier schreiben: Für Menschen welche nicht so gut zu Fuss sind, empfehle ich dieses Riad nicht. Die Treppenstufen sind hoch und steil. Einen Lift habe ich nicht gesehen. Da würde ich vielleicht vorher noch nachfragen.

Il riad si trova in pieno centro a Marrakech, a qualche minuto a piedi dalla piazza principale Jemaa el-Fna. Bellissima struttura, dotata di tutti i comfort, camere molto pulite, dotate di phon, asciugamani e prodotti per la doccia molto validi. Il personale gentilissimo e molto disponibile, ci ha concesso tranquillamente di poter lasciare i nostri bagagli nel riad per tutta la giornata, per poi accompagnarci in aeroporto con un trasporto privato (non incluso nel prezzo) disponibile 24/24. Esperienza molto confortevole e consigliata, ci tornerò sicuramente!

Es un Riad muy bien ubicado. A unos metros de la plaza Jemaa el Fna. Pese a ser pequeño, es muy cómodo. Disfrutamos mucho el desayuno en la terraza. El personal es extraordinariamente atento y hace de la estadía una hermosa experiencia.

Very close to Jemaa el-Fnaa. A beautiful terrace with a view over the square. A charming, atmospheric riad tucked away on a narrow street.
Cons: Transport from the airport was arranged by the riad. It cost twice as much as a normal taxi. The staff member knew I was arriving late but did not inform me that the road would be closed. The driver (very kind and friendly—none of the whole nighttime confusion was his fault) wanted to drop me off in the middle of the street. A riad staff member told me over the phone to turn on the map and walk alone for about 10–15 minutes.

Das Riad liegt sehr zentral und wir konnten zu Fuß alle Unternehmungen, die wir geplant hatten durchführen. Wir wurden warm empfangen und alles war schön und sauber! Wir hatten eine eigene Terrasse mit einem schönen Ausblick auf den Djema El fna. Jederzeit wieder!

Cons: Be careful when asking staff to book you a taxi. They will give you a number you believe is in local currency but turns out it’s in Euros. Complete rip off. Breakfast was very basic, tea was cold, had to ask for jam (from a pack…). Shower was cold. Took some 10 minutes of running the water to get it luke warm. The whole place had a very intense artificial smell.

Abbiamo soggiornato qui solo una notte, avendo già alloggiato in altri riad, e nel complesso ci siamo trovati molto bene. Lo staff è stato estremamente accogliente e disponibile: ci ha aiutato con i bagagli, fornito tutte le informazioni sulla città e si è sempre assicurato che fosse tutto di nostro gradimento. Ottima la colazione, con prodotti tipici locali. L’ambiente è moderno, curato e molto pulito.
Cons: Unici aspetti da segnalare: la stanza era piuttosto piccola (caratteristica comunque frequente dei riad) e la strada per raggiungerlo non ispira molta sicurezza.

Riad très bien situé avec une belle terrasse avec une vue exceptionnelle. Le personnel est très gentils et à nos petits soins. La chambre est confortable et très propre. Riad bien insonorisé car étant proche de la place Jemaa el fna, nous avons bien dormi.
Cons: On avait de l'eau tiède pour la douche. On y était début décembre et de l'eau un peu plus chaude aurait été appréciable.

The location is great for exploring the Medina and Jemaa el Fnaa. As a solo female visitor, I felt safe walking around and seeing all the activity in the plaza after dark and knowing I was never far from my accommodation. It was also perfect for getting to the early morning pick up point for excursions.
Cons: I couldn't find fault with anything other than my pillows were too firm for my comfort, personally.

The location and terrace with view of the square were second to none.
Cons: Service was a bit hit and miss - eg. we ordered the lunch time panini which was advertised on the board but no-one seemed to know what it was and it took over an hour to arrive. The incense was overpowering. I’ve stayed at this Riad 3 times before but I didn’t find it as friendly this time. However, Abdul was excellent!

This ia pretty, quirky, authentic place to stay off the medina in Marrakech. We had the very top room, which was a bit of a challenge to get our bags up to due to the narrow stairs, and it was surprisingly quiet and calm.
Cons: We were only there for about 12 hours, so it would be inappropriate to criticise. The staff were helpful and gave us a takeaway breakfast because we had to leave before the one offered in-house.

Beautiful Riad right in the center of Marrakesh. It was extremely clean and comfortable. The terrace is so beautiful to have breakfast or relax during the day. The breakfast was great! In general everything is decorated with a lot of detail and love.

Il Riad è caratteristico, la terrazza stupenda con vista sulla piazza El Fna e sulla Koutoubia. Io avevo una stanza piccola ma pulita. Ho soggiornato solo una notte ma il personale è stato davvero fantastico. Appena arrivati, in attesa del check in, ci hanno fatto accomodare nella sala comune e ci hanno offerto del buon tè e dei buonissimi biscotti. Tutti molto cordiali. La Mattina dovevamo partire molto presto e, non potendo fare colazione, si sono offerti di preparare una colazione a sacco da portare via, sono stati veramente gentili.
Cons: Non mi è piaciuta la posizione. La struttura è molto vicina alla Piazza El Fna, pochi minuti a piedi, io la avevo scelta proprio per questo ma, come molti Riad, é infilato dentro traverse e traversine non troppo luminose che mettono un po’ di ansia quando torni la sera. Certamente la centralità è un valore aggiunto ma io non ho apprezzato la posizione.

Nice staff. Beautiful building. Good location in the medina near the main sights. Very clean and with perfect housekeeping every day.
Cons: Breakfast is poor, basically just cakes and coffee. Rooms are small but ok. We arranged an airport pickup with them and nobody came to pickup, leaving the party waiting outside on the bench for over half an hour until they sent someone. When you are already paying a markup compared to just getting an airport taxi this is a poor experience. No apologies and still paid the full €20. Additionally, I inquired with them about calling a taxi to go to the train station. They wanted €30 for a 3km journey, and inexplicably more than the airport pickup. We just did it ourselves in the end. Sadly it's an example of a hotel trying to extract as much money from its customers as possible over providing a good service.

We had a mixed experience. Stayed for 1 night 24th Sept, went walking in the Mountains and then stayed again 28th Sept for a night. Our first stay we were given mint tea on arrival, the room was big and beautifully presented with a bottle of water and glasses but our 2nd stay, the room wasn’t ready (we arrived about an hour later than expected), despite costing more than the first room, it was smaller, no water etc. I asked for water and when we checked out, were told we needed to pay for it. I’m not sure why the 1st and 2nd night were different. I think if we hadn’t had such a great first night, we would have been happy with the 2nd night. The location is excellent, we paid the hotel for a taxi from the airport which cost a bit more, but was worth it as we were shown to the hotel. Breakfast is great, lots of it and a wonderful view from the roof top.

After numerous search for a place to stay in Marrakech we decided with Riad Andalla and no regrets at all. It was no more than 5mins walk to Jemaa el-Fna. Staff were welcoming. The Riad was clean and sufficient to what we needed it for - a place to relax and sleep.

My children and I had a truly wonderful 6-night stay at Riad Andalla. The room was lovely—comfortable, beautifully decorated, and a perfect place to unwind after exploring Marrakesh. The location is excellent, just a short walk from the heart of the Medina, making it really easy to get around. The food at the riad was another highlight. Breakfast was scrumptious and fresh each morning with a lot of options of fresh orange juice, pastries, bread, and omelettes at a small extra price. We also had dinner there a couple of times —it was absolutely delicious and the various meat and vegetable tagines felt like a real home-cooked Moroccan experience. The staff were all incredibly warm and welcoming. Mehdi, Kamal, and Malika were fantastic—always friendly, helpful, and attentive. A special mention must go to Abdel, who was simply amazing. He went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable, and his kindness and hospitality really stood out. The only downside to our stay was the laundry service. Although we handed over our clothes a full clear day before departure, unfortunately, our clothes didn’t come back clean. They were still wet when returned to us. We ended up having to pack damp clothes into our suitcase, which wasn’t ideal and was a bit disappointing for such an otherwise well-run and welcoming riad in the heart of Marrakesh. Overall, Riad Andalla was a charming and memorable place to stay, and we’d definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Marrakesh!

Lo staff è eccezionale soprattutto Atiqa, Mehdi, Sanaa, Laura. Colazione servita in terrazza con vista piazza El Fna è stata straordinaria. Lo stile traduzionale del Riad mi ha incantata. Ho gradito anche l' Hammam e il relaxing massage. L'atmosfera pacifica del Riad malgrado la vicinanza dalla Piazza. Lo Consiglio vivamente :)

The staff were super helpful and kind. The rooms were beautifully designed with comfy beds. There is a rooftop which we accessed for chilling and breakfast and it had a great view of the central plaza area.
Cons: I stayed in two different rooms and the bathrooms/toilet areas are pretty crampy so if you're a bigger person it's not gonna be comfy when using. The included breakfast was not great. It was the same everyday and mostly just bread and cakes. No fruit or eggs. It's not hard to give a boiled egg or two and slice of a couple pieces of fruit. We mostly just drank the coffee, ate the yoghurt and left all the bread and cakes behind because we wanted something fresher. They have a kitchen and you can pay for other breakfast options like a cafe but what's the point if you've already paid for the included breakfast? This was a little disappointing and it's very easily fixed. Also, the hammam via teh hotel wasn't the most amazing experience. The lady who ran it for us was so so lovely and sweet but it was in a tiny room and sadly not what we were hoping for.

Camera non molto grande ma arredata in stile marocchino e con tutto il necessario; ottima anche la pulizia! Staff molto gentile e disponibile, dovendo partire il mattino seguente molto presto per il deserto ci hanno fatto trovare la colazione al sacco. Se dovessi tornare a Marrakech, sicuramente farei di nuovo tappa al Riad Andalla!

I arrived to the Riad with a badly sprained ankle. Then I developed a cold from the guy coughing on me on the train. The staff here have taken care of me like family. They’ve plied me with mint tea for my throat, and have otherwise allowed me to recuperate in a room quietly. I’ve enjoyed the breakfast is in the morning—the ones that I’ve made. The dinners on the rooftop have also been spectacular with a very nice view of the main square. Everything is in within walking distance as far as the square, restaurants, craft sellers. Don’t be alarmed when the taxi drops you off and a cart comes running over and whisks you off with your luggage. Be mindful, they will do it for free, but it is better to tip. The room is appointed so beautifully. There is not a more relaxing or beautiful place to have a cold. Also, as you approach through the narrow alleyways, it will begin to observe the pleasant aroma of Moroccan argon oil because they burn it all the time. It is so soothing. I owe the staff a great thank you. All of the waiters, all of the desk attendants. The inner Karen that is inherent to all Americans was not triggered, even once!

La struttura era pulita, la colazione abbondante e buonissima! Posizione strategica proprio dietro la piazza principale. Lo staff davvero gentile e disponibile! Tornati dal deserto ci hanno permesso anche di fare due lavatrici avendo pochi vestiti per i nostri 10 giorni di soggiorno. Es bonito, el decorado es lo que más me gusto y la limpieza, por lo menos en nuestra habitación, fue algo que me sorprendió gratamente. El chico que nos atendió al hacer el check in fue muy amable.
Cons: El precio no me pareció tan bueno comparado con otras opciones de al rededor y he echado de menos una pequeña piscina en la entrada, típica en los riad. Contratamos 2 actividades, unos quad y una salida a unas cataratas, y LOS PRECIOS FUERON ABUSIBOS. El quad salió un 50% más caro que habiendo cogido la actividad por nuestra cuenta, pero lo peor fue la excursión a las cataratas. Hablando en la propia excursión con el resto de gente que había contratado la misma actividad (cada uno mediante el riad en el que se hospedaba) resultó en que el resto de personas HABÍAN PAGADO LA MITAD, por persona, que nosotros y, en su caso, el guía que nos acompañó estaba incluido en el precio y en el nuestro no, por lo que además de pagar el doble por ir a la actividad tuvimos que pagar al guía al finalizar la excursión. Al volver de la actividad, pedimos explicaciones en nuestro alojamiento y nos dijeron que intentarían hacernos un pequeño descuento, pero al hacer el check out y tener que abonar las actividades, se han hecho los locos (a pesar de haberles repetido en ese momento que nos dijeron que harían un descuento). Definitívamente volveré a Marruecos pero no volveré a hospedarme aquí, lo puedo asegurar.

Positive Centrally located Riad Andalla was great for views over the Jmaa El Fna. It was very clean and room comfortable (although my room had no window, making it slightly claustrophobic). Staff were helpful - printed my boarding pass which I’d forgotten to bring with me. Unplugged phone when I went out and forgotten to unplug and was afraid of it melting. This was the second plug I’d bought (more on that below) Negative Breakfast (which was included) is carb heavy) Don’t ask for recommendations. The manicure/pedicure place they recommended was the worst mani/pedi I’ve ever had. Forgot my plug/adaptor in UK. The shop they recommended sold me one that melted and destroyed my original Apple cable. Asked them to book me a taxi for 9am. Repeatedly told them the time for taxi pick up so there could be no mistakes. I even saw him write it down. Yet at 858am when I asked where was taxi they said it’s booked for 930am. I told them I had to leave immediately and they said ok it’s coming now. It didn’t. I got into the taxi at 930am. This short break was supposed to be a stress free break. This final part of my time in Marrakech made me so anxious that it really marred my holiday. At airport had to run to ensure I was not late. Also no time to check out duty free which I really wanted to do.

What a wonderful place to stay! Abdulwaheed and the team went out of their way to make sure we were happy and felt like we were at a home from home, even saying “welcome home” when we got in every time. The riad is a 3 min walk from the main square in the medina. The terrace was a perfect place to sit and soak in the full ambiance and the wonderful madness of an evening before turning in, with a lovely glass of Moroccan tea. Despite being so close to the noise and hubub, once in the Riad it was an oasis of calm and tranquility, with only really the birds and the call to prayer being heard. The architecture of the riad is absolutely stunning… so pretty, traditionally designed around a central courtyard, a very relaxing vibe, and the perfect place to stay. Breakfast was great- the best yogurt I’ve ever tasted (home made!), Moroccan pancakes, pastries, bread and cakes with orange juice and coffee. We booked in advance a meal for the first night so we could relax and that was delicious ! We also arranged for a taxi to collect us from the airport, which was so good as it meant we didn’t need to worry. Such a lovely place and such lovely staff. They went out of their way to make us feel welcome and were happy to answer any questions we had. Do stay here! You won’t regret it. And such good value too.

I was met at the airport right on time. The hotel and rooms are beautifully decorated with local cultural items and the rooftop terrace is lovely, comfortable and gives a view of the market, mosque and other points of interest. I was accompanied to meet the driver when I left, which was a relief as there are lots of cars and taxis. Arranging dinner the night I arrived was a good choice and was good local food. Staff were helpful and friendly. I rarely tip, but I did this time.

El Riad es muy bonito, y el personal muy amable. Me alojaron en una habitación individual que estaba limpia. Se oyen ruidos por la mañana del propio movimiento de personas, pero con tapones pude dormir perfectamente. La terraza es súper bonita y con vistas a la plaza, me dio pena no poder aprovechar más del Riad por tiempo.

La simpatía del persona, la excelente ubicación a pocos metros de la plaza Jemaa el-Fna, y la terraza disponible a toda hora, con vistas a la plaza más importante de la ciudad. El zumo de fruta del desayuno es muy bueno.
Cons: En general nos gustó todo, pero las camas y las habitaciones son muy pequeñas, y el desayuno no tiene nada salado, solo dos piezas dulces y un trozo de pan con un triangulito de queso. He echado de menos unos huevos o algo vegetal. El precio es muy caro en comparación con otros riads de la zona, pero era el único disponible con dos camas twin.

I spent four great nights at Riad Andalla (solo travelling). The bed was very comfortable.The staff were very helpful and kind all the time. They cleanned my room every day. I definitely recommend having dinner there during the stay. The food is delicious, and you have a fantastic view of the main square. I would definitely go back to Riad Andalla

We stayed for 3 nights in the riad after a nature trip through the South of Marokko. The riad is a wonderful, peaceful place with helpful staff. We enjoyed the breakfast and a dinner at the rooftop terrace. A very special experience was the hammam with massage by Amal that we booked through the riad. It was our first visit to a Maroc hammam and the perfect way to end our vacation in this lovely country!

La colazione, servita sulla splendida terrazza, è ottima e abbondante. Gli orari della colazione sono 8-10 ma in caso si dovesse lasciare il riad prima di questo orario, è possibile usufruire della colazione "take away". Consigliamo anche di accettare la proposta della cena tipica perché è davvero tutto buonissimo ed abbondante! Camera piccolina ma davvero carina e caratteristica. Nota negativa: il bagno è separato dalla camera da una semplice tenda.

My experience at the Riad was absolutely magical! They truly made me feel like I was home and they were family. The room had more than enough space for one person. Although close to the reception, I didn’t have any issues with sleep. The staff are the most generous and kind people I have ever met, and the food they serve was glorious! I would definitely come back!

Esperienza eccezionale! All'arrivo al riad si è accolti da un incantevole ed inebriante profumo, nonchè da personale accogliente e professionale, che ci ha offerto immediatamente lo squisito the alla menta. Evase le pratiche di ingresso, si viene accompagnati in camera. Noi abbiamo soggiornato in una junior suite, pulitissima ed accogliente, nella quale abbiamo trovato tre bottigliette di acqua naturale (offerte dalla struttura). Bagno incredibilmente pulito, con a disposizione asciugamani, saponi e phon potente e funzionante. La colazione abbondante, ogni giorno differente e gustosissima, servita nella sala d'ingresso. L'aspetto incredibile della struttura è la terrazza all'ultimo piano, che regala un'incredibile vista sulla piazza principale Jemaa el-Fnaa. Grazie Riad Andalla! Se mai torneremo a Marrakech, soggiorneremo da voi; ma nel frattempo, consiglieremo a tutti la vostra struttura.

Besides being beautiful, immaculate, just around three corners from the souk, with a marvelous dinner, and excellent breakfasts, the most outstanding, memorable feature of Riad Andalla, is the way everyone there treated us. Everyone was so kind and helpful. Everyone went out of their way to make us comfortable, and to smooth our every difficulty away. If you stay there, I hope you get to stay in the roof-top room which has a terrace, with a table, and couches, overlooking the great plaza. They served us a marvelous dinner there, our first night.
Cons: Since Riad Andalla exceeded our imaginations, in hospitality, architecture, and our dining experiences (oh, the coffee!), this is not a fair question.

La nostra esperienza è stata molto positiva. La posizione centrale del riad ci ha permesso di muoverci con grande autonomia e facilità. La stanza era davvero bella, pulita e confortevole. Il personale era discreto ma sempre disponibile quando necessario. La terrazza è semplicemente splendida e sempre accessibile, sia al mattino per la colazione che alla sera per chiacchierare fino a tardi. L'abbiamo apprezzata particolarmente perché si affaccia sulla piazza, permettendoci di godere della musica e dell'atmosfera circostante. La colazione era adeguata, con piccole variazioni ogni giorno che abbiamo molto gradito.
Cons: Purtroppo, essendo io una persona dal sonno leggero, ho avvertito le conversazioni delle persone nella stradina del riad e i rumori provenienti dalla piazza fino a tarda notte. Tuttavia, mi rendo conto che si tratta di una questione soggettiva; il mio ragazzo ha dormito serenamente grazie al suo sonno profondo. Credo che la posizione della stanza abbia influito su questa esperienza. A parte questo, il soggiorno è stato davvero meraviglioso.

Very nice Riad with a beautiful relaxing roof top terrace. Owner’s are onsite and operate it very efficiently. The room was clean and comfortable enough for 3 adults because it had lots of places to store all our luggage and stuff off the floor. It was very quiet and we slept well during our 2 night stay.

Riad molto caratteristico dalla hall all’ingresso fino alle camere. Staff accogliente e sempre disponibile.
Cons: Camera un po’ piccola con bagno leggermente sottodimensionato e abbiamo avuto qualche problema con la pressione dell’acqua della doccia ma penso che sia un discorso generale in quelle zone. All’infuori di ciò ci ritorneremmo volentieri!

Fizemos uma ótima escolha. Riad Andalla está muito bem localizado na Medina, junto à praça comercial mais famosa de Marrakech. O Riad cuidou desde o transfer Aeroporto x hotel x Aeroporto, até os passeios que quisemos fazer. Ótimo atendimento, café da manhã excelente, banheiro, roupas de cama, toalhas. Tudo em perfeitas condições. Agradecimento especial a Mehdi e Sana pela simpatia no atendimento. Não sei se voltaremos a Marrocos mas fica a dica em relação à escolha do Riad.

Cons: Very hard to find, badly signed, down crooked narrow alleys where google maps fails. The window was broken in my room so needed staff help to open or close. The bathroom had a smell. Room was small. Hopeless air conditioning - had to get staff help who explained that changing any of the confusing buttons meant it would be inactive for 3 to 5 minutes, after which it might work if you are luck! For this price it was poor.

Die Aussicht von der Dachterrasse ist wirklich toll. Es ist allgemein ruhig, auch wenn man bei genauem Hinhören die typischen Geräusche des Djem al Fnaa hören kann (was ich persönlich sehr mag!). Das Frühstück ist sehr reichlich und die Arbeitenden zu jeder Zeit freundlich und hilfsbereit. Auch die Räume sind toll eingerichtet und sehr sauber.
Cons: Im zweiten Stock war das WLan dann nicht mehr so ganz zuverlässig, wenn man abends also noch was auf Netflix schauen möchte klappt das nicht so. Ist aber auch nicht wild, als alleinreisende Frau war ich sicher auch vergleichsweise früh wieder in der Unterkunft und musste abends noch etwas Zeit totschlagen. Die konnte man sich aber wirklich gut auf der Dachterrasse vertreiben und einfach auf den Platz schauen. Die Lage ist vielleicht nichts für Alleinreisende die sehr ängstlich sind, da man doch um zwei unbelebte Eckchen muss. Ich fand es aber tatsächlich sehr ok.

Cons: El desayuno es bastante mediocre con zumo de bote y bollería muy seca y dura, sin posibilidad de fruta fresca o yogurt como en el caso de otros Riads. El agua caliente se acaba ya que tiene una caldera pequeña propia en la habitación. Si pagas con tarjeta te aplican un 5% de suplemento al precio final, es la primera vez que nos pasa en Marruecos.

Really nice staff and convenient location in the middle of the Medina. One small complaint - I have a very strict “ no shoes rule “ in my room or wherever I stay and upon showing us our space the host just walked around the room and even into our shower with their shoes on. Little odd but not enough to be an issue. They had an AC unit in room which is always a plus!

De kamer was super schoon, werd ook iedere dag schoongemaakt. Alles wat je nodig hebt is aanwezig. Fijn bed (geen kingsize, lekker knusse twijfelaar) föhn, genoeg ruimte voor je kleding op te bergen, airco/verwarming. Super aardig personeel, je kon ze alles vragen, er was altijd iemand aanwezig. Verzorgd ontbijt op het dakterras. De locatie is echt super fijn: binnen 2 minuten sta je op het plein en vanaf het dakterras kijk je zo op het plein.
Cons: De eerste keer even lastig te vinden, omdat er bij het 2e steegje geen naambordje staat.

Cons: Le plus désagréable était le bruit. Les voix des personnes dans le couloir résonnent fortement. Les portes et volets de fenetres à l ancienne sont très belles avec les loquets mais par contre elles claquent, et le bruit est amplifié. Pas de chance, la douchette fuyait. Lit trop dur a notre gout (mais chacun ses preferences)

It’s really clean and decorated very aesthetically. The Riad is so welcoming for its guests. The massage provided by this Riad was really nice. We loved our massage session with Amal the masseuse. It was fairly priced.
Cons: Since the location is a bit inside, so we needed porter to take our luggage. The taxis don’t go inside the main square after 1:00 PM. The porter charges hefty amounts. Better communicate with hotel before the arrival regarding this matter. Another issue was not having the bidet in the toilet. They charge for tea, but since we raised the voice regarding this, they make it complimentary. Also for breakfast you only get sweet savory, the eggs are only provided on alternate days.

Además, está la posibilidad de reservar para comer o cenar (con antelación) en la terraza del Riad, por 25 euros p.p, nosotros reservamos y estaba todo buenísimo, merece mucho la pena. El servicio y trato de las personas que trabajan aquí es excelente! Nosotros teníamos una excursión y nos pusieron incluso el desayuno de ese día para llevar. Lo recomendamos 100%.

Riad Andalla is a gem! Tucked away in an alley in the heart of the Medina it offers easy access to everything, but yet feels calm and apart from the hustle and bustle. The welcoming staff at Riad Andalla sets this guesthouse apart. The hotel arranged in advance 20 euro taxi and 25 euro set menu tagine dinner on the rooftop overlooking the square. The taxi can’t enter the Medina in the afternoon/evening, so you’ll get dropped off and a guy with a cart can wheel your luggage in. Sunna welcomed me with a warm smile and a cup of tea. She told me her name means sunshine and she truly is. The dinner was delicious and sizable, served from the charming rooftop garden. The staff is so kind and community and intent on making your stay wonderful. They insisted on packing me breakfast to take with me on an early departure and even let me borrow a phone charger when mine stopped working. They really go above and beyond to make your stay comfortable! I ended up staying in two different single rooms—both were lovely (one bed was better than the other) and the linens were much nicer than the other places I stayed in Marocco. You’ll be happy you chose to stay at Riad Andalla!

Our original accommodation cancelled the day before we were due to arrive - this came up as an option when trying to rebook and we couldn’t believe our luck!!! We got lost in the medina - if you know you know - and a quick call to the accommodation and the man came to get us. A hidden gem, outstanding in every way! Nothing not to like and would deffo recommend to anyone who is looking for somewhere central to stay. The staff were attentive and so kind and helpful. Gutted wasn’t staying for more than one night. Beautiful roof top terrace too, much needed oasis of calm.

Cons: Las habitaciones son muy pequeñas, el baño es mínimo, no te puedes mover con facilidad. Hay un armario pequeño y poco espacio para abrir las maletas en la habitacion. Se oye demasiado el ruido de la plaza en las habitaciones y tambirn la llamada a la oración. El precio es un poco elevado para lo que ofrece, hay opciones mejores y con habitaciones más espaciosas y silencioso.

Il personale è gentilissimo, io e il mio ragazzo abbiamo anche fatto un massaggio di 1 ora e la ragazza è stata bravissima. Very kind and attentive staff, they arranged a taxi for the other person sharing the room with us and they made sure she arrived safely to the Riad in the night. The room was small but very clean and comfortable. Spotless bedsheets and toilet. We definitely recommend this Riad due to the central location.
Cons: The Riad is at the dead end of a small road, if you arrive in the night we advise you to get the taxi arranged by the Riad. The taxi can't get to the Medina in the night so they will send a person to escort you to the Riad.

Un Riad très beau et très propre avec une terrasse donnant sur la place Jemaa El Fna. Accueil formidable de l’équipe et petit déjeuner excellent.
Cons: Les chambres au rez de chaussée sont assez bruyantes avec les allers et venues des clients le soir et le matin mais sinon rien à redire d’autres c’est vraiment un très bel établissement

Outstanding!!!! This accomodation exceeded all our expectations. This hidden gem made our first trip to Marrekech unforgettable. From the moment we were greeted in the crazy streets, to the mint tea at check in, to offering to keep our bags while we went on a 2 day excursion into the dessert they spoiled us with the best service we have ever experienced when travelling abroad. I just cant say enough. Every detail was thought of. The exotic decorations, cleanliness of the room, rooftop restaurant. All our needs were met. I wish we could have stayed longer. Karim and the entire staff were very welcoming and pleasant. The location of the riad is also a walking distance from Jamaa El Fna. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend it !

Location was perfectly centred in the Medina Old Town just a few minutes walk from the main square. The staff were amazing and accomodating, helping you with amything that you need. Breakfast was served on the roof terrace every morning which included, baguettes, muffin, pancake, cake, pastry, jams and cheese. Great value for money, i couldn't reccomend this place enough.
