I really enjoyed my stay at the hotel. I especially liked the location, the comfortable rooms, the cleanliness, and the large bathroom. The air conditioning also worked very well, which was especially appreciated. Overall, I had a pleasant stay and would be happy to return.
Cons: One area that could be improved is the breakfast. It felt a little disorganized, and we often had to ask the waiters for different items because they were not available or displayed at the buffet. With a little better organization and more consistent replenishment, the breakfast experience could be much better.

My stay at Bab Hotel Marrakech was one of the most disappointing hotel experiences I have ever had. When I arrived, I was given the wrong room, without the facilities I specifically requested during booking. The first room was extremely noisy, with constant car horns and street noise throughout the night, making it impossible to sleep properly. After complaining, they moved me to another room which met my expectations better in terms of the room itself, but unfortunately the noise was even worse. Another frustrating issue was the room key system. The key card constantly stopped working. If you spent even 10 minutes outside the hotel, by the time you returned, the key would no longer open the door and you had to keep going downstairs to reception for another key activation. This happened repeatedly throughout my stay and became extremely exhausting and inconvenient. What made the experience more upsetting was the attitude of the reception staff. They were unfriendly, rude, dismissive, and at times very disrespectful whenever concerns were raised. The worst part happened during checkout. I was initially asked to pay an extra 80 dirhams for drinks from the fridge, which I agreed to. However, after asking me to wait while someone checked the room, they suddenly claimed I owed 210 dirhams, accusing me of consuming drinks that I had personally bought outside the hotel. I repeatedly explained that the additional drinks were mine and not theirs. The situation escalated badly. Despite telling them I was about to miss my flight, they closed the door and refused to let me leave. I had to force the door open while staff members shouted at me publicly, calling me names such as âthiefâ and other insults. During the confrontation, my phone was snatched and my screen got broken. The shouting continued outside on the street until I brought out my tablet to record the incident, at which point the staff member finally backed away. I have a 19-second video recording of part of the

Stayed here 3 nights, hotel room great with funky ambiance in rooms. Nice large bathroom, double sinks and big shower. Room had large sitting area and small balcony but lighting was a bit dim. The restaurant food was amazingly good for lunch and dinner as well as the breakfast buffet. Table service was slightly slow, but good trade off for meal quality. All staff friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend. Handy location for walking a few blocks to stores etc.

I was on business so only stayed 2 nights but was upgraded to the Executive Suite. Massive room with a HUGE bathroom, very clean and comfortable. Had dinner one night in the hotel itself, dining room is quite elegant and there was a DJ playing. Breakfast was very good.

Hotel perfectly located near the airport - made our early-morning departure easy, stress-free. Really appreciated the large room, very comfortable bed, and convenient hotel dining room. Very relaxing for end of our 3+ week visit in Morocco. The very best thing was the warm, personable welcome we received on arrival, made so special by the presence of Lamia, a lovely a woman working at the desk with whom I had had prior very helpful correspondence about our booking. I was hoping I would have an opportunity to meet with her and thank her in person. And she was there! Like greeting a sister! And the rest of the hotel staff caught the good vibes too - smiles all around, from the doorman to the valet to a lovely welcoming letter from the manager. My husband and I simply felt embraced by the entire staff. We will remember this for ever.
Cons: I wish we had had the opportunity to spend a little time with Lamia to thank her again for her help, and to have a short visit. As it was, we were quite weary from our travel, and missed that opportunity.

Les chambres sont spacieuses, bien qu'un peu vieillottes. Matelas plutÎt dur. On entend le bruit de l'éxtérieur, mais je l'ai trouvé supprotable. Je n'ai pas testé le petit déjeuner car partie trop tÎt, mais j'ai apprécié le petit dej à emporter qu'ils m'ont préparé. L'hÎtel manque un peu d'entretien, mais c'est le cas pour la plupart des hÎtels à Marrakech, meme des 5 étoiles. Il est situé dans un quartier résidentiel - Quartier Gueliz - et donc entouré de commerces, pharmacie, restaurants locaux et transport public.
Cons: Le restaurant de l'hÎtel est absolument hors de prix et pratiquement sans options végétariennes. Ne tombez pas dans le piÚge - plusieurs restaurants à proximité proposent des menus plus intéressants, voir à 1/4 du prix.

I really like the location as itâs surrounded by everything you need. I even bought 2 rugs from Galerie Marzouk who ships for a small fee, right next to the hotel. Awesome food at the hotel and many places you can dine in around the area too. Many galleries and museums all walking distance. Jemaa el-fna is 40 mins walk away. The staff were great and helpful. Got an upgrade to junior suite. Fireplace was on at breakfast, lunch and dinner and set a nice ambience. Thereâs a pool and spa too which can be used.
Cons: Itâs above a bar/club which closes at 4am so quite a bit of noise at times. My phone in room didnât work in junior suite so couldnât call for room service. A couple of light switches donât work either at bedside but these are all minor issues.

We were traveling with my 16 year old daughter and had already contacted the hotel to request a separate area for her to have privacy. Marrakech was the last part of our weeklong travel around Morocco and was our favorite part of the adventure. Bab Hotel was a great place to start the day and return to relax and refresh. The unit we got was on the 5th floor and excellent: clean, spacious, close to the elevator (there was alot of noise from the street as there were a few restaurants that stayed open late night - but we weren't too bothered by it). There was a twin rolling bed, L-shaped sofa, TV and plenty of room for her to spread out. There was a sliding door into the master bedroom to give us our privacy as well. We had plenty of space. The closet was amazing - enough space to organize for more than a week! The bathroom situation was a bit odd - the toilet/sink was separate from the bath area. There was plenty of room in the shower bathroom to be able to have a toilet - however it was also nice to have a toilet separate from the shower (two toilets would have been nice). There were two balconies in this unit which was also nice. The hotel staff was amazing - special kudos to Sabrine - she came with the driver to pick us up from the airport as our flight landed at midnight and she came to make sure our transfer/transportation and all were smooth. She helped make our stay comfortable, convenient and enjoyable. Breakfast was great - variety and very tasty. The bar was great as well. There is a spa and they were accommodating as well as professional and peaceful. Bab Hotel location was good as well - there are many banks, convenience stores, restaurants within walking distance. The New Year's Gala was the icing on an already delicious cake! There was entertainment : DJ, band, performers - musicians, dancers, belly dancer, drum player - so much to keep us entertained. Service and presentation was great. My daughter had the best time!! Thank you for such a memorable stay! Happy New Year!

Cons: The pool water was totally freezing, and the pool area is weirdly located right by the restaurant downstairs - there is no sun. Breakfast has a random selection. The light in our room had no off switch so we had to call housekeeping who put black tape around it.

Cons: Our double bed was two single beds put together to make one double bed. This made it difficult for me and my partner to sleep in. We didnât sleep comfortably for the entire stay. Plus we told the receptionist and she did nothing about it. We complained twice hoping they would replace the single mattresses for one double mattress but they never. We are very disappointed about this. But on our check out another receptionist told me will refund my money as she will talk to her management but still not received nothing from them. I will say to everyone stay away from this hotel.

Nice staff, quality look to the hotel throughout. Smart deluxe room with decent size bed and bathroom. Nice bar and restaurant area. A small paddle pool with roof that is covered and can be opened in summer also near restaurant. A small shop and masseuse services too. In useful location for restaurants, bars and shops. Walkable 30 mins plus to some tourist sites. Minor downside was the noise at times from the street at night and the lack of sound proofed windows and doors. I needed my ear plugs at times. Also, found the step up shower cubicle a bit daunting and the spongy shower tray wasnât great. No idea if all rooms had that layout but felt unsteady every time I showered. Still, overall this is a good quality hotel with great staff and would stay again.

Le buffet du petit déjeuner est exceptionnel. Je recommande !

Cons: jammer vond ik dat er bij aankomst niet genoeg handdoeken waren. Er was 1 handdoek. ook geen badmat voor de vloer. Maar ik heb dit aangegeven bij de receptie, en zij hebben meteen handdoeken in de kamer gelegd.

Cons: Al limite poteva essere un tre stelle in quanto non ha gli standard di un 4 stelle, bisognava sollecitare gli asciuga mani e il sapone ogni volta, il personale entra in stanza senza bussare creando disaggi per l intimitĂ personale, ho inviato una mail alla struttura che ha ignorati la mia e-mail, in tre notti il pavimento non e mai stato pulito.

Lâemplacement est idĂ©al, le confort toujours agrĂ©able, et le personnel charmant. Accueil parfait par lâĂ©quipe avec une mention spĂ©ciale Ă Lamia et au jeune homme de lâaccueil fidĂšle au poste depuis des annĂ©es. Les petits dĂ©jeuners sont toujours parfaits (merci et bravo Ă Khadija pour sa disponibilitĂ© et son sourire !). Nous reviendrons trĂšs prochainement !

I stayed at Bab hotel for 3 nights this past April and had a wonderful experience! The hotel staff is extremely friendly and will arrange your transportation to and from the hotel (make sure you take at Morocco currency). You can get massages for a good price here and breakfast is included. The location was safe and away from the center of the city. The rooms were spacious with an amazing bathroom. The pool isn't appealing but overall a place worth staying!

Beautifully designed hotel, type of boutique hotel. only 5-minute walk from the main street, where you found many restaurants. 20 mins walk from the medina. Not far from train station and airport. many restaurants nearby, night lounge and club nearby. very nice room, lovely small pool, cozy bar and restaurant. The hotel is within walking distance of the train station, shops and restaurants. We even walked to the medina several times. There is a fantastic restaurant nearby if you need a break from Moroccan flavours called Plus61. The room is spacious but odd, the toilet is next to the front door and the rest of the bathroom is across the entire room. The decor of the room is black and white and the toilet room is tiled completely matte black, itâs a dark and strange. The bed was comfortable and huge, a standard king in North America is 7 feet wide, this bed is 8 feet wide! Breakfast was nice, thereâs an omelette station, fruits and salads, breads and eggs. It was good. The restaurant area looks into the pool area, the water was cold, the roof is retractable, we never saw anyone in the pool, it would be awkward to swim with everyone watching you.

Le petit déjeuner est vraiment parfait, il y a tout ce qu'il faut pour se restaurer, de nombreux choix. Le personnel est vraiment agréable et souriant, notamment à l'accueil Ahmed et au niveau de la restauration Yassine. La responsable du restaurant à toujours le sourire et prends du temps pour échanger avec ses clients, ce qui est trÚs appréciable. L'hotel est conforme à ce que j'attendais, et le plus est le lit extra large !
Cons: Ce qui peut ĂȘtre amĂ©liorĂ© c'est de distribuĂ© une petite bouteille d'eau chaque jour rĂ©servĂ©, et pas seulement le jour de l'arrivĂ©e. Il y a un peu de bruit dans la rue le soir jusqu'Ă maxi 22h30, 23h car il y a un restaurant en face de l'hotel qui semble ĂȘtre trĂšs cĂŽtĂ©, et il y a beaucoup de taxi en attente, et ils parlent fort en attendant les clients. Mais aprĂšs tout est calme.
