We came here around 10 years ago and absolutely loved it, so we were really looking forward to returning. Unfortunately, this time it didn’t meet the same standards we remembered. The hotel feels very outdated and could definitely be cleaner. There was also an unpleasant smell of sewage, which was particularly noticeable in some areas. The toilets in the lobby were not clean, and most of the flushes were broken, which really needs addressing. The entertainment team was also disappointing. We found them to be quite lazy and, at times, more interested in interacting with each other than engaging with the guests. That said, all the other staff we encountered were lovely, friendly and helpful. The food was another let-down. It was very repetitive and, unfortunately, the quality felt below the standard we expected. It’s a real shame, as we had such wonderful memories from our previous visit 10 years ago. We really wanted to love it as much as we did back then, but sadly, this visit fell short of our expectations.

We’d had the luck that our son had stayed at the hotel a few years ago so we had some background to utilise. What he didn’t say was it wasn’t just hot, it was 44 degrees every day, only dipping under 40 degrees at night time. The hotel is about a 25 minute drive from Marrakech airport and again we were lucky in that there was us and another couple to book in and not a coach load. First impressions were good, even though our rooms weren’t ready we used the bar until they were. A quirk of a few hotels we’ve been too recently is that the bar area is quite dark whilst reception is bathed in light. Once we got our rooms which the porter had driven us too with the luggage (he expected a tip but we hadnt used the ATM in reception to get currency the dram then so we went and found him the next day.) There are 4 meal times. (You can also book once a stay, for Moroccan food, which was beautiful and Italian which was poor.) there is something for everyone at meal times. We tried a few Moroccan style food and they are tasty. It’s down to personal taste, If you want chips and dippers then that’s fine too. We found out as we went along that you can pick early or later times to suit your plans. As per the standing joke you weren’t meant to put down towels on sunbeds. This rule was ignored and even when busy and not going down early you could find some beds. Drinks are available in the reception and poolside bar until midnight. There is also Zumba and Aquaaerobics in the main pool. There’s also a toilet block nearby. There’s also a spa, indoor pool and Childs pool. There is an entertainment board but all that seemed to happen in the designated room was music to get the children running around. There were a few room niggles, the toilet flush mechanism was half broken, the bed for us wasn’t used to the firmness, the mirror is old in the bathroom and the sink is crazy cracked. There’s was a spider and general dirt at the side of the setee. Apart from this the room is fine and the maid came everyday. There’s plenty of space, big bottles of warmer, small fridge, tv, phone and 4 usb charger points.theres also a shaded outside patio with 2 chairs and a table. There’s also the chatter of crickets, North African toads and birds at nightime. If like me you are afraid of cockroaches, there was only 6 and 2 of them where were swimming in the toilet bowl much to my shock. Then to nighttimes and we were happy to sit in the reception/bar area playing games, cards, talking and making up quizzes. This leads me to mention the staff, specifically the restaurants and bar. They were so friendly, waiter service and they knew the rounds of drink after your first time. They were so warm and friendly that even my mr grumpy photo hating husband asked for a selfie with one of the staff, wish I’d got his name. The shot of gin wasn’t large and the topped up soda was at different levels during the night. The local lager is quite weak but drinkable.

We stayed at Riu Tikida Palmeraie Marrakech and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. The hotel did not meet the standards we expected from a RIU all-inclusive resort. There were several maintenance and cleanliness issues, including broken stairs, a dirty swimming pool, poor room cleaning, uncomfortable beds, and a minibar that was never refilled. We also noticed loose electrical cables and lighting around the pool, which raised serious safety concerns. Service was below expectations. We had to carry our own luggage to our rooms, and there was no shop where guests could buy drinks or snacks—only souvenirs. To get a sunbed by the pool, guests had to wake up before 6:00 AM, which is unacceptable for a relaxing all-inclusive holiday. We reported these issues three times during our stay, but very little was done to improve the situation. Sadly, this was one of the most disappointing holidays we have experienced, and based on our stay, we cannot recommend this hotel.

We’ve returned a few weeks ago from an amazing holiday and honestly, we couldn’t have asked for a better experience! From start to finish, everything was incredible and we had the most unforgettable time. The hotel was beautiful, the staff were so friendly and welcoming, and there was always something to enjoy. The food, atmosphere and overall service were fantastic, and we felt completely relaxed from the moment we arrived. We enjoyed the holiday so much that we actually ended up extending our stay by two days — which probably says everything! 😂 We simply weren’t ready to come home. This was genuinely one of the best holidays we’ve ever had, and we’re already looking forward to going back in October. We made some amazing memories and would 100% recommend it to anyone looking for a fantastic holiday. Thank you to everyone who made our stay so special. ❤️☀️✈️

This is the 5th RIU All-Inclusive I’ve stayed at so I feel I can make a fair comparison. The resort looks the part and the reception, pool area, grounds etc are gorgeous. Hearing the frogs and crickets at night is a special experience. We loved the location (quiet and easy to get to the city), our adjoining rooms (perfect with teenagers) and found the food to be varied and of good quality. The Moroccan restaurant was excellent. The staff are friendly and helpful and we found the resort and our rooms to be clean and well-maintained except for our bathrooms which need a revamp; broken fixtures and a little shabby. The sunbeds by the pool are reserved by the usual selfish a’holes who leave their towels there early but don’t arrive until mid-afternoon. If you find the pool guy, they’ll help find you beds and umbrellas where they can. You will need an umbrella as it’s very hot indeed! The two things we weren’t impressed with were the drinks and the evening entertainment. It’s very lowkey and nowhere near as good as other RIU hotels. This leads to a lack of atmosphere. In our experience some of the soft drinks were either watered down or had too much water in the mix. As for the alcohol, the beer and wine were ok. The other alcoholic drinks had very little alcohol in them. Other little gripes were despite booking directly with RIU and using points to book a late check out, this wasn’t available. The shop could also be a lot better in terms of snacks and opening hours. Overall, we would return if we wanted a quiet break but there are much better RIUs in a similar price range. Do visit the city. We didn’t fancy the free bus and paid 200 D for a return taxi which we found to be great value. We hired it off the rank outside the hotel.

There isn't anything in walking distance but there are always taxis outside and a free bus. The atmosphere is lovely with birds,crickets and frogs. There were loads of bees but they weren't aggressive at all. The rooms are big and a bit disappointing. We had 2 adults and a teenager but there was a sofa bed that wasnt wasn't the most comfortable and used up a lot of space. Our second room of 2 adults had the same sofa bed but as it wasnt in use the room was spacious and comfortable. Cleaners came daily and were friendly. Yet the maintaince was disappointing. Phone didn't work as the socket was dangling out of the wall. Once fixed the reciever still didn't work. The resort is huge. With a good 10 minute walk to the room, so not ideal for those with mobility issues as its quite a hike. Food was great and staff couldn't do enough for you. Only bug bare is sun bed hoggers as at 9am there were none available and a lot of people didnt use their bed till the afternoon but this happens in a lot of resorts. So maintaince is an issue, as is the distance but I would visit again and it was good value for money.

We have just returned from a great stay at the RIU Tikida Palmeraie, and this was mainly down to the staff who made it extra special. From the moment we arrived, every member of staff made us feel so welcome. The hotel is beautiful, clean and well maintained. The food was varied and plentiful, the pool was lovely and chilled, and there was always something to do thanks to the entertainment team. The biggest highlight of our stay was the exceptional service from the La Trattoria restaurant staff. A huge thank you to Mohamed (Chef de Secteur), Ouidad, Abdellatif, and Abdellah (Maître d’hôtel). Every single meal, breakfast, lunch and dinner was made even more enjoyable because of how friendly, attentive and genuinely hospitable they were. They always greeted us with a smile, remembered us each day, and took the time to ask how we were enjoying our holiday. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and they truly made us feel like valued guests rather than just another room number. In particular, Mohamed (Chef de Secteur in La Trattoria restaurant) went above and beyond when he found out we were celebrating my mum’s birthday. He helped organise a wonderful birthday dinner table with a special bottle of bubbly and a delicious cake lit with candles, and the team sang happy birthday. He made sure she felt incredibly special. It was such a thoughtful gesture that meant so much to us, and it turned a lovely evening into a memory we’ll never forget. Throughout the rest of our stay, he continued to recognise us, stop for a chat, check we were having a great time, and always greeted us with warmth and kindness. It’s the people that make a holiday truly memorable, and the staff at this hotel are a credit to RIU. Their genuine care, professionalism and friendliness made all the difference, and we left feeling like we’d made friends rather than simply stayed at a hotel. Thank you to everyone at RIU Tikida Palmeraie for giving us such a wonderful holiday. We will be recommending this hotel to family and friends just for the reason of the lovely staff!

L hôtel est un sans faute : des jardins magnifiques, des chambres spacieuses et impeccables, une restauratipn très bonne et variée avec un personnel dans la très grande majorité (serveurs, femmes de ménage, receptionnistes, jardiniers) au top et toujours avec le sourire, un service de navettes pour aller dans la médina.

Cons: Les animations du soir ne présentent pas un grand intérêt, exceptées les groupes flokloriques qui se produisent 1 soir et le chanteur du piano bar extérieur qui a une très belle voix.

Cons: -La propreté ( cafards..) -Les meubles sont tres vieillots, les chambres ont besoin d’etre rafraichies -Kids club et piscine pour les petits, 0 animation et 0 prise en charge des enfants les soit disant animatrices ne regardaient meme pas les enfants ( 0 professionnalisme) -Veilleuse ne marche pas ! La chasse d’eau aussi j’ai dû réclamer à maintes reprises aucune intervention jusqu’au dernier jour, un technicien s’est pointé sans résoudre le problème

Love this hotel. Would definitely come back. The best bits. The food- Absolutely delicious. We’ve stayed at many 4&5 star all inclusive hotels but the food here has been our favourite. Especially the Moroccan options. The evening restaurant- The service is excellent. Cheerful, helpful and very professional. The decor feels very clean, modern and classy. Dress is casual, some people in shorts and T shirts, some in dresses and heels, both ok. The entertainment team- A great asset to this hotel. So happy, full of energy and not pushy at all when you don’t want to be involved. I especially liked that they made a real effort with teenagers. We have 2 teens who are rather shy and wouldn’t usually get involved but they made them feel comfortable enough to get involved in activities around the pool. Reception- Really helpful and made us feel welcome on arrival, nice to be greeted with a friendly smile. Helpful advice when booking the free shuttle to and from the main town. Bar staff- Like the common theme above, mostly cheerful & professional. Amazing service all around. ( I have made a comment that may feel a little contradictory further down but over-all great service) The rooms- very clean and comfortable. The beds were super comfortable. No noise at night so feeling well rested. Shower gel in shower. Tea and coffee making facilities but the coffee at the bar is so good we rarely used in room. Alcohol- The single only down side I can think of. They don’t like to pour full alcohol measures here. You can ask for more but occasionally you get a funny look or almost a huff; feeling a little awkward. The white wine and beer are good. The best cocktails for me has to be pina coladas and sangria here. The evening entertainment- we never really bothered with. We preferred to stay in the lounge playing cards and chess so difficult to comment on that. Perhaps if it were amazing we would’ve caught on and made a point of going but we never got that impression. Spa- My husband had a treatment, involving exfoliation, steam, clay and massage. He said it was amazing and reasonably priced. This has to be one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in combining all the different areas I have mentioned above. The outstanding service and food really stand out here with the free shuttle service being a nice touch. There are plenty of sunbeds. We got around the pool around 9am every morning and always sunbeds. We’re a family of 5. The grounds are very well kept too.

Writing this from the sunbed…… Firstly, Morocco is a hot country. So if you don’t want to be hot or see a few flies don’t come! It’s a very big hotel and there are lots of people. This is as per the advertising. Huge pool, very clean and warm, lovely. Surrounding areas very well kept, beds, umbrellas, etc. Beds do get bagsied very early. Loud music most of the day, we could do without it but it’s not terrible. All the staff around the pool are fun and friendly, plenty of daft activities but they’re not pushy. Rooms better than expected. Quite modern, very clean, aircon and fans work a treat. Zero bugs of any type. FOOD and DRINK! Generally very good, food is fresh and high quality, plenty of variety. It does get a bit bland/samey which, I think, is always a problem with all inclusive. Beer and wine (red, white, rose) are all excellent (genuinely). Cautions on the spirit measures are valid, it’s a bit of a joke really. I reckon a cocktail gets less than half a single measure. Not a massive thing but I’m not really sure why they’re so stingy on this one thing. Bars, restaurants, communal areas, all really nice. Staff can come across a bit too friendly/boisterous which gives it a bit of a stag do atmosphere but they’re all well meaning, attentive and just trying to make your holiday a good one. Bus to town is handy. Paid about £1.2k per person for 10 nights (5 people) and, for that, it’s great value and a good holiday without breaking the bank. No complaints but wouldn’t come back.

Travelled to Marrakech or the first time. Decided to play it safe as single parent and chose this hotel. Grounds are fabulous and we were amazed by the wildlife in an around the ponds. My daughter loved the toads in the evening. The gardens were stunning and the attention to detail in decor throughout was perfect. Best sunrise ever!. Room was very good. Super comfortable beds and huge balcony overlooking the garden area. I cannot fault the hotel for adhering to my room requests ( high floor, quiet area, nice view). The biggest issue was the sunbed situation at the pool. Not enough ground was utilised . Felt cramped on top of each other despite the huge size of pool. Pool size was great. Don't think we've been anywhere with such a large pool. However, finding a spot with a decent lounger and shade proved challenging. Had some lovely mornings here but it wasn't the most relaxing of places. Food was a huge let down. Just no flavour! Felt very beige; catering to the masses.. Limited local variety which is a shame as food outside the resort was outstanding.The evening dining room felt stale . Daytime dining felt rushed . Lovely decor but not attentive service. Only saved by the Moroccan al a carte. Drinks were good, particularly from the lobby bar. Mint tea was lovely at lunch. Service by the pool not the best. Reception staff and maids were fabulous. No other outstanding service noted. Hotel served as a base to and from the city. Used shuttle bus there and taxi back. The shuttle bus was a great service.Spent more time outside the hotel than in it. Ventured to Jema el Fna self guided. Go daytime and evening to get the full experience. New area ( Gueliz?) was nice too,with lots of bars and restaurants.Booked excursions through get your guide which were all brilliant ( city cycling tour, sunset camel and quads with fire show). Really enjoyed discovering the city and it's surroundings. I wouldn't have wanted to be stuck in this hotel for a week without venturing out. Can't comment on kids club or entertainment. Couldn't find much information around even though we had the RIU app. This didn't matter to us, we were more interested in site seeing. I had a good deal through the RIU website so it did work out good value, despite my disappointment at food and staff attentiveness. Probably wouldn't stay here again but will return to Marrakech.

Temu Riu. Not a 4 star, 3 at best. Food not Riu standard, hotel not Riu standard, pool needed cleaning, rooms a bit shabby, food requires some taste, Italian needs some Italian input. Come on Riu sort it out. As for the qualified electricians sorting the pool lights (that just floated about in the pool) they doubled as lifeguards and god help anyone that needed saving, more interested in topping up their tans .

Perfect location about 10/15 mins outside of Marrakech but the hotel had a shuttle bus to the centre of Marrakech or we used the taxi which are outside the hotel and we did a deal with the driver which was more safer and when we went into Marrakech we agreed a time for him to pick us up. Super big room with a big bathroom. Staff all very welcoming and friendly but thing one of the main things which let us down was the entertainment staff drinking on the job and the so called shows were let down because of the World Cup which they had on in the lobby bar and the show room. And they didn’t bring any acts in from outside like in other holidays we have had dance groups and fire eaters come in. The spa was lovely too I had a sugar and honey scrub felt amazing. I’ve never been to a hotel so Clean. We had 2 meals at the Moroccan restaurant which was lovely. Great food abit mean on drink pours. Only three things let the hotel down no food provided after arriving late, rubbish entertainment and no courtesy room to change at after being at the pool all day and about to head to the airport. If you did want one you had to pay Extra. Which we didn’t we got told to shower and change in the indoor swimming pool which was the wrong place we had been told the right place was in the gym changing rooms. But overall I would go back to this hotel and it’s clear why so many people do go back every year. We met someone who had been 17 times. Got a huge swimming pool only 2 things it’s missing really is a good entertainment and maybe a games room like pool or air hockey. I’d give this hotel a 4.5 out of 5 But great atmosphere in the hotel everyone so helpful and friendly

Les piscines sont grandes et adaptés à tous les âges. Les enfants ont bien profité, même ma petite de 12 mois. Mon grand de 5 ans ne voulait pas rentrer à la maison. Il dit que c'est la meilleure piscine du monde entier :)

Cons: Le kids club est très mal géré. Aucune activité pour les enfants, Même les jouets sont limités. J'y suis resté un moment avec ma fille pour voir comment ça se passe et savoir si je peux y laisser mon grand de 5 ans. Finalement je ne l'ai pas laissé. Tout simplement parce que les personnes là-bas ne leur parle même pas. Il laisse les enfants jouer seuls, et les regardent à peine. Et il faut dire que les enfants qui y étaient s'ennuyaient beaucoup, comme s'ils étaient dans une garderie et attendaient que leur parents reviennent avec impatience. Pour avoir fait beaucoup d'hôtels all inn à Marrakech et ailleurs, j'ai déjà vu des kids club super où les coach faisait énormément d'activités pour les enfants toute la journée et où les horaires étaient bcp plus intéressants. C'est le seul point négatif de l'hôtel pour moi.

We’ve visited the hotel as an all inclusive family of 3 (16 & 18yr old lads, plus dad). Staff have been excellent from reception to bar to restaurant. Very friendly, and well spoken English (far better than my rudimentary French). Room was spacious and clean. Aircon wasn’t great and fridge didn’t work. Both matters reported to reception and resolved straight away, with the offer of a room change if not satisfied. Good selection of food in the restaurants and sufficient for any kids with beige appetites. Drink selection decent too but expect measures poured by the eye. No point whinging. Just get two! Plenty of sun beds round the pool although when really busy you may need to get up early. The poolside staff did a good job of finding extra beds and parasols when busy. Pool really clean too.

Room not ready despite arriving after check-in time. Food options severely limited and poor quality. Coffee was awful. Flies everywhere and on everything, food and drink included. Staff largely unfriendly and some borderline hostile/rude. The animation team did a great job. Pool bar staff also made an effort. Grounds/gardens really pleasant. The pool is lovely but towels are awful and capped at 1 per head. Overall felt like a 3 star hotel not in the Riu Group. Wouldn’t return.

Cons: Je suis déjà venue en 2024 et ce n'était pas du tout comme ça, l'hôtel s'est gravement dégradé. Cette fois, nous avions réservé 3 chambres et les 3 étaient pleines de cafards. On nous a proposé un changement de chambre le lendemain, mais le problème était exactement le même. L’amabilité de tout le personnel allant du bagagiste , à la réception,les serveurs au restaurant, le personnel du bar, de la piscine, les femmes de ménages, les animateurs, le photographe tous ont été d’une gentillesse et d’une bienveillance extraordinaire.

Cons: À mon sens, il y a un petit effort à faire sur le programme d’animation, je dis bien le programme et non pas l’équipe, ils sont tous adorables. Voici quelques axes d’amélioration : -principalement : les shows, en été, les shows à l’extérieur à côté du restau Italien sont bcp mieux qu’à l’intérieur (ambiance estivale festive ) -dans les spectacles, on reste sur notre faim , ils sont tellement courts et pas assez travaillés , je m’attendais à mieux -avant le dîner , prévoir des jeux / quizz avant ou apres la liveband dans l’espace extérieur -la seule soirée à laquelle j’ai assiste et qui était digne de ce nom c’est la soirée gnawa à l’extérieur, (il faut prévoir plus de chaises) -le show des 4 participants était un peu trop décalé et pas adapté aux familles (lundi soir ), digne d’une activité en journée et pas un spectacle -en journée, rajouter plus d’activité et mieux les cadrer, comme le tir à l’arc par exemple, des cours de danse…

Stayed here with my family for a short holiday. The hotel is amazing. It has the biggest pool I have ever seen and the grounds, pool area, hotel and rooms are kept in excellent, spotless condition. Bottles of water are provided in the rooms, along with a fridge to keep them cool. We had a super room set up where we had adjoining rooms but they still had their own door system. There was a lockable outer door with an internal vestibule before the room doors - great for older children to be given some space away from parents but not too far. The hotel has a relaxed vibe but there’s always plenty to do. The entertainment team work tirelessly to engage people but are happy if you also just want to chill. They are super friendly and happy and very talented - some amazing dancers! There are multiple restaurants and I cannot fault the food: lots to choose from, brilliant quality - we were never stuck for what to eat no matter how picky the diet as there is food from many different cuisines available. Food is practically available every hour during the day and then restaurant staff are really attentive and pleasant. There are multiple bars and again service and choice is good. The drinks around the pool side are served in plastic glasses but they are those really good quality ones. Never much of a wait at the bar and the pina colada cocktails are fabulous! Best of it is they don’t seem to overload the alcohol, which is really nice. Only a 20 minute journey from the airport but far enough away not to be bothered by planes. Close to the city centre and the hotel runs a free shuttle bus service into the centre. As for the price, we got an amazing deal with EasyJet which worked out at £100 a person per night for all inclusive in two double rooms - flights included. At that price it was a steal! I know we will definitely return here again.

Just returned after a 10 day stay at this brilliant hotel, all the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Rooms are very spacious and well equipped. This is our 3rd visit to this hotel and every visit they seem to have responded to comments to make your stay more comfortable and enjoyable. The entire outdoor pool area has been retiled and equipped with new sun beds and brollies. Air conditioning feels like it has been improved, tea/coffee making facilities provided in the rooms, and every day they leave bottled water in your room. It is good to have a safe in the room which is free of charge. Pool towels provided free. There are plenty of sun beds available. The food is good, you will always find something nice to eat. Hotel try to cater for all tastes, there are burgers, pizza, chips every day it doesn’t mean you have to have them every day. The Moroccan restaurant is great and gives you the chance to try local food, which we loved. A big thank you to Jamal who always went the extra mile to make our stay comfortable. We have read complaints about the measures of spirits, and yes they are meagre, but if you want an extra measure you can always ask. Soft drinks are as you would expect them, beers good and all the wines are excellent. On this visit we did see a few cockroaches in our room but we were on the ground floor and we assumed they had come under the door. This was never a problem for us, but some guests could get anxious about this. We used the complementary bus into the Medina, which is great., this can be booked at reception or on line. We would definitely return to this hotel as the staff really work hard to make sure you enjoy your holiday

This was my third time visiting the hotel. This time was definitely the best experience so far. The food was even better. The condition in and around the pool was outstanding, after the refurbishment. The bar staff are so friendly and the restaurant staff were also outstanding. In particular, (I think this is how you spell it) Abdellatif who worked on breakfast and lunch always got our drinks for us and found us a table, he constantly went above and beyond and was also very kind. It really made our trip that bit better. The animation team were outstanding as usual, the genuine care and kindness makes a difference. They were always willing to ask if we had everything we needed, asked how we were and engaged in general conversation throughout the whole trip. In particular, Hatim, Hassan were extremely kind, and always went out of their way to make sure we were having a good day. However, the room was not as great. We had issues with aircon (we overheard many people in our block having the same issue) and it took over 4 times to ask reception for maintenance to fix this. My bed also broke and the same happened. The fridge was not very cold and that was never fixed. However, the cleaning service was great and the cleaners always made the bed decorative with flowers and a thoughtful touch. The food, best so far. There was plenty of choice, every meal. The food was always hot and the quality was great. The pool staff were very kind and helpful and were happy to help even when we didn’t ask for it. The atmosphere and vibe for the World Cup was also fantastic, it was a big feature. The gardens and grounds condition was outstanding and the ground staff work very hard. I will definitely be returning, of course.

Magnifique hôtel, avec l'impression d'être dans une véritable oasis tant la végétation est luxuriante. Les jardins sont superbes et parfaitement entretenus. Dommage qu'il n'y ait pas des photos sur leur site. L'établissement est très propre et la piscine est remarquable. Les chambres sont très spacieuses et disposent d'une excellente literie, ce qui rend le séjour particulièrement confortable. La formule tout compris est vraiment un plus. Mention spéciale également pour les petits-déjeuners servis jusqu'à 12h, un vrai luxe en vacances (1er service petit déjeuner avec grand buffet buffet, puis 2eme service petit déjeuner plus simple de 10h30 à 12h). (thé classique, MEME PAS le thé Marocain à la menthe comme dans n'importe quel hammam même le plus simple) est en plus servi dans un GOBELET en PAPIER ?!? :-( Service vraiment décevant au vu de la qualité exceptionnelle de l'établissement. Après Une heure avec des enfants en pleurs, le prob de l'électricité est réglé mais nous constatons que le réfrigérateur ou nous voulions conserver la compote de bébé ne fonctionnait pas non plus .. sans oublier que la qualité de la literie etait médiocre Bref, il y a bien mieux a Marrakech

There is a lot to love about this resort. The grounds are immaculately kept, offering a serene environment to relax in. The rooms are spacious, spotless, and excellently maintained by the housekeeping staff. Additionally, the pool area is wonderful, providing ample space and loungers even during a 37°C heatwave. The staff across the resort are friendly and incredibly hard-working. Unfortunately, the all-inclusive food and drink package fell far short of expectations. The cocktails and spirits are severely watered down—to the point where you would need to drink five or six to equal a standard single measure. The bar staff are strictly monitored, making it difficult to get a standard pour. The food quality was also disappointing. While breakfast was fine, lunch and dinner lacked variety, and items appeared to be reheated from day to day. There was also a persistent issue with flies landing on the food at the buffet and snack bar. Regrettably, both my partner and I experienced severe stomach bugs during our stay, which ruined a day of our trip. Rating the grounds and staff 5 stars, but the catering 1 star. A generous 3/5 overall.

We've just returned home from a 7 night stay at the Riu Tikida Palmeraie Hotel and wanted to leave an honest review, having read conflicting opinion before travelling. I can honestly say we had a fantastic time! Yes the food is similar throughout the week... it was a little dry at times and not always piping hot, but we found something tasty to eat every night. The restaurant for the evening meal had a nice feel and the staff looked after us extremely well, topping up drinks and making sure we had everything we needed, before having to ask. There are flies about, but mainly around the outside bar or where people have discarded cups with fizzy drink in and nothing that you wouldn't get at home on a hot day. The grounds and pool are amazing and the gardeners and pool team are constantly working to keep on top of things. No issue getting a sun bed and parasols were plentiful. Our room was spacious, clean and tidy, with friendly maids who changed towels etc daily. The staff are what made the difference for us. Every member of staff we encountered had a smile on their face and genuinely wanted to help you. We felt extremely well looked after and nothing seemed too much trouble. They are a credit to the hotel. We visited the Medina which was amazing. You have to watch out for the mopeds in the tight alleys! If I'm honest, I was expecting to be hassled, but we were left alone to wander around, absorbing all the sights and amazing smells it had to offer. All in all it was a fantastic holiday, that didn't cost a fortune and exceeded expectations. We would happily return.

So this hotel was full of cockroaches and other bugs.The food was not catered for children or allergies was not stated on the correct food as one of my family members are allergic to quite a few things so on the ice cream it said no nuts and it had nuts in it . We had to change rooms because we had 10+ cockroaches falling from the ceiling and from the pipes and toilet. The variety of food and drinks ain’t enough for a child appropriate hotel they should really have more variety of food and drinks. The staff can’t do enough for you or your family but they do expect a tip. I would never stay in this hotel again or another Riu.

The size of the room was huge, and the bed was very comfortable. The hotel location was close enough to the Medina to be reached by uber paying only 75 Dirham per trip (roughly 7,5 euros) (PS: The hotel free shuttle has to be booked and has a limited timetable, so I always used Uber to go to the city center, that was a personal choice). There is an animation team during the day in the pool and that same team gives a one hour show at night (21:30 to 22:30). The typical for a resort. The Gym is well equipped, and the Spa prices are not too exaggerated. There is only one main pool for adults, but it’s big enough not to get overcrowded.

Cons: I found the night shows a bit weak, because the animation team tends to over involve the guests, so the shows are only as good as the improvisation ability of the guests participating. There are cockroaches in the hotel, big ones and they tend to get inside the rooms because the doors have a huge gap from the floor (almost 1 cm) where the roaches can crawl underneath. Not just roaches but any kind of insect, especially mosquitoes. I had to cover the door gap with bathroom towels to keep the bugs outside my room. Note that the hotel has two lakes with still waters that are the perfect nesting ground for mosquitoes, so expect to be bitten and get your room infested if you leave the windows open or the light on without blocking the door gap. Another annoying thing is the golf carts used to deliver the luggage to the rooms by the staff. The paths used by the carts are shared with the guests and they are not large enough for both, so when you cross paths with a cart you must move to the grass to allow the cart to go by. Also, the staff drives, inside the hotel, the Moroccan way, that is, with total disregard for the guests walking. If you ever cross with one of these carts expect to be given absolutely no priority or courtesy… that is just inadmissible.

Daraufhin kamen Mitarbeiter und legten Handtücher vor die Tür, da die Karkelaken angeblich von draußen hereinkommen. Einen Tag später bemerkten wir jedoch, dass sie sich im Holz der Wände versteckten, wo es Löcher gab. Nachts kamen sie dann heraus. Wir informierten das Personal erneut. Daraufhin wurde uns gesagt, dass das Problem bereits bekannt sei, es viele Kakerlaken gebe und man nichts dagegen unternehmen könne, was wir sehr seltsam fanden. Anschließend wurde uns ein anderes Zimmer zugeteilt, doch auch dort fanden wir wieder Kakerlaken. Die Handtücher hatten Flecken, und insgesamt entsprach die Qualität des Hotels nicht dem Preis. Wir sind sehr enttäuscht von diesem Hotel, da wir viel dafür bezahlt haben und deutlich mehr erwartet hatten.

My favourite part of this property is the staff. It was my second time to stay at this hotel and the staff are the kindest that I have ever experienced in hospitality. They make you feel so welcome and are always smiling no matter what time of the day! The buffet food is incredible. It always tasted so fresh and delicious with amazing options. The staff work especially hard making sure all their guests are happy at breakfast, lunch and dinner. And finally...the hotel facilities are outstanding. The lobby bar is an oasis of relaxation and the beautiful gardens are so good for the soul...I feel rejuvenated after my 5 nights there!

Cons: The sun bed wars! I work in an airport so I'm used to starting work at 3am. I was expecting to enjoy a long rest in the mornings but instead I'd be charging down to the pool at 6am with our pool towels to claim our favourite spot. Even by 7am loads of hotel guests would have already claimed their sun bed for the day (and then they disappear off) by placing their towel over the sun bed. I felt if you can't beat them...join them! It's a shame that this is how it works as it's the only way to guarantee yourself a perfect spot by the pool.

Including the newly refurbished pool. We stayed here late may to early June and have never been to Morocco before. Granted it was a heatwave (40c) so we were not expecting this level of heat. There are both pros and cons , though it seems the cons outweigh the pros. I’ll start with that when we arrived it was a11 - no option for a meal was given or no welcome drink - we’d stopped on the coach to several other hotels and most offered this. Given the time we got off I was quite surprised by this. The first (major) issue - cockroaches both in our hotel room and LOADS of them in the downstairs toilets. The staff stamp them to death with a mop - then brush them out into the main hallway to scoop them up and move them out - but it’s clear there’s an infestation. Other reviewers have had similar issues. And we were on the top floor….. The ones in our room? Well they eventually got rid of them - I trapped one in a glass and they came to remove it….2days later. We named him at this point because he was a fixture of the room. When we complained we were just told “it’s normal”. They NEED to spray insecticide and use incense. Food - the food is extremely basic but has a wide variety. Sadly many things begin to taste the same - very one note. I’ve noticed VERY pink meat as well as undercooked chicken (a hazard given they wash their chicken in this country) as well as many of the heat lamps simply not being hot enough. They provided microwaves - I’d suggest using them. The flies are so disgusting - the food is uncovered and they literally FLOCK all over it. More than once I’ve seen dead flies in the yoghurt, ice cream and quite a few in the jam (once a wasp was in there). They HAVE to address this somehow before they kill someone. Though granted I understand it can be difficult having 300 guests who all finger or cross contaminate the food. Nothing is labelled properly (I.e vanilla ice cream was actually citron on random days) so anyone with a food allergy - stay away. They did have a vegetarian option - if that helps. I don’t know what they do to the bread but by god it’s hard and stale. It’s SO bad. The drinks were basic - many of the cocktails being a premix option though they eventually started doing them in a cocktail shaker. The menu is very limited but they can make you more options though you have to ask. Everything is insanely sweet and seems to have added sugar (but hey it’s all inclusive). We stuck to water or soft drinks from a syrup mix. I’d say you need to add sprite or Fanta to the wine - it’s SO acidic it hurts. The beds - they are a simple duvan - the sheets caused me to itch but smelled clean and they would always remake the bed. We did ask for the sheets to be changed but this was only done once during our trip - I still saw the fluff marks left from my socks. Our hotel room - kinda clean - the floor left black dirt marks on our feet but looked clean. The maids seem to only wipe down random surfaces - dust is present. But they do restock the water every day. Generally the room was a little run down - heavy limescale, holes in the toilet walls - the air con didn’t work to start with (but they did fix that). The major issue with the room was our sink - the plug was broken so if you put it down it wouldn’t come back up - we had to use a knife to open it. This was reported and even the maid noticed it - but no one came. The pool is generally a pro - it’s bigger , well looked after and we didn’t struggle to find a sunbed. Towels also are easily replaced. While nothing major there was a wap issue - lots of them came because of the sugar in the drinks (I didn’t see any anti infestation happening but that doesn’t mean it didn’t). Sadly the pool doesn’t have many spaces to relax - granted it’s a kid friendly hotel so you expect screaming - but the bar played constant weird club music and served alcoholic beverages throughout the day and evening (again wasps). Thankfully not many were drunk and rowdy. The speciality restaurants - generally pretty bad - the Morrocan restaurant….everything tasted the same. Every single desert was nut based practically (again allergy concern). The Italian was okay - better than the morrocan but again - very similar to what is on offer at the main buffet. Many of the chefs do not speak English. The shop - cripplingly expensive. And very little in the way of snacks etc offered. Granted it’s all inclusive but I’d expect some other bits to be present. There was a few chocolate bars - Oreos and crisps. (Pringles were the only salt flavour). The hotel is also too far to be reached by uber etc so you need to book a taxi if you want other food (get the hotel to book it or they will fleece you good - I’m talking like 450mad from the Médina back to the hotel (around 40gbp) which is ridiculous. Overall we are pretty disappointed with our stay - and a little grossed out. Tui label this as a 4 start hotel platinum plus - but it really isn’t anywhere near that quality. Max id rare it is 2-3 stars basic.

The pool area has recently been refurbished with all the old broken and slippery tiles being replaced with no slip tiles. However, the new design makes it difficult to get to the pool if you are near the back as planters have been added and guests block the way down with sunbeds. Twice after squeezing past beds to get to the pool I found guests had moved their beds to block anyone getting through. The pool toilets are still in need of repairs and upgrading. Saying all this, the pool and area is great, particularly for disabled and parents with young children as the steps and ramp into the pool is very easy access. We did have an issue with ants in our room, along with a sink that didn't drain and noisy and poor air-con but we mentioned this to reception and they moved us to another room although the air-con was still not the best. We didn't have any problems with any staff, in fact most are very helpful, particularly the daytime reception staff (less so the male evening and night time staff). If you want to go out for a walk there isn't much locally, but there is a free bus into the medina and the walk around the hotel gardens is lovely. We consider this hotel to be better value for money than most and are booked to go back later in the year. Just be aware, if you do suffer with the heat the departure lounge in Marrakech airport has abysmal air-con and is so hot and when boarding you'll wait in an enclosed airless tunnel before being allowed on the plane so don't rush to board!

We have just returned from a weeks stay and have been quite disappointed with this hotel. The first night we opened the door to our room (1029) and staring back at us was a HUGE cockroach. The guy who showed us to our room just kicked it out and left us be. The beds themselves were covered in bugs but it was late so we tried to sleep and look to sort the following day. In the middle of the night I woke as I could hear some rustling. I put my phone torch on and another huge cockroach climbed out of one of our suitcases! I could not settle at all after this. The air con didn’t work and the room fan was also crazy noisy so neither of us could sleep. We went to reception to complain (mostly about the bugs/roaches) and were told ‘you’re in Africa, what do you expect?’ I thought this was quite dismissive as we know there are going to be bugs, but not to this extent! We advised we have travelled to Marrakech previously and stayed at a different hotel and never had issues with bugs/roaches. They said they would move us to a new room the following day, which they did. We requested first floor room and thankfully we never saw another cockroach! So if staying at this hotel, I’d recommend requesting a first floor room, not ground floor. The bed bugs however still continued and I am covered in bites, even with using insect repellents. I am still itchy and seeing new bits since returning home. This has really ruined the trip for me as I didn’t get one good nights sleep all week. It’s a very big site, plenty of space to sit around etc. without it feeling overcrowded or struggling for seats/lounges. We never struggled for sunbeds. We came down sometimes between 9/10am and could still get beds. If you are wanting a front row bed by the pool, you will need to go down around 7.30/8am, but that’s only if you’re picky about your sunbed location. The pool is great. So spacious! We loved that there was plenty of room for you to relax in the pool without being splashed by games/kids, or if wanted you could go and join in with water polo or water volleyball games without hindering people who do want to relax. Fresh pool towels are also available daily so no need to pack your own. There’s also a good size indoor pool if preferred. Food - meh. We’ve had better food from 3* all inclusives. We found we ended up eating the same meals every day for breakfast, lunch and dinner. One thing we did like was that food is accessible almost all day, so regardless of what time you wanted to eat you could go grab food. It’s probably the best food opening times we’ve ever had at any hotel. We just wish the quality was a little better considering this is a 4* hotel. We aren’t expecting Michelin Stars, but my partner isn’t a fussy eater and even he was struggling to mix things up. Drinks - VERY disappointing! The drinks selection is limited. You cannot taste a drop of alcohol in the drinks. Cocktails taste like juice. I enjoy a short (vodka and coke) and could not taste any vodka in it. I don’t even like strong drinks, but to not taste the alcohol at all isn’t great. We asked for more alcohol to be put in our drinks to make them stronger but we found all they did was add the alcohol last so it tastes stronger initially (a tactic most waiters used). In the end we got fed up of keep asking for stronger drinks as it didn’t make a difference. We aren’t huge drinkers but we didn’t even get tipsy/merry one single day/night. Enjoying a drink around the pool or bar at night is a biggie for us when on holiday so we were very disappointed with selection/taste as a whole. The hotel is generally clean but there were a lot of wasps/flies around the pool. This is probably due to drinks though rather than the fault of the hotel, and waiters did come round and clear cups regularly to try and prevent it. The grounds are lovely to walk around We loved the animation team. They were super friendly and approachable. We liked that they weren’t too pushy if you didn’t want to join in any of the activities. The shows they put on were very good - they are amazing dancers!!! We enjoyed the entertainment both daytime and evening. Good for both adults and kids of all ages. The free shuttle bus into the centre is easy to use. There is an app so you can book times there and back. Overall we give the hotel a 3*. Great pool and animation team, but disappointing food and drink and not having a full nights sleep all week due to bugs/bites.

Cons: Séjour du 26 au 30 mai 2026 (Chambres 5112 et 5114). Manquements graves à la sécurité et à l'hygiène. Ma fille a subi un accident corporel grave (torsion sévère, radios en cours) au niveau du théâtre à cause d'une porte ouverte en pleine nuit, donnant sur un dénivelé de 50 cm sans aucune signalisation ni éclairage. L'assistance a été défaillante : nous n'avons obtenu une chaise roulante que le lendemain après-midi, après avoir dû solliciter l'intervention de la police. Le directeur a refusé de reconnaître la responsabilité de l'établissement, affirmant qu'ils n'avaient pas d'assurance pour cela et que nous devions saisir la nôtre. De plus, la restauration est très basique pour ce standing et nous avons constaté la présence de cafards dans les toilettes de la chambre.

Although the hotel is situated away from the markets the offers a free shuttle. The hotel was beautiful. The gardens were impeccable. Very well maintained. There were at 3 large ponds. One had got fish and a couple of small turtles in. Plus we noticed a small harmless snake around the pond and a skink. Beautiful Another pond came to life at night with 100's of frogs. Very noisy but so nice to hear! Huge swimming pool plenty of sun loungers. 2 Pool bars. Huge lounge for relaxing at night. Overall the hotel is thoroughly recommended for ages. This was our second visit to this hotel.

Just had a lovely week’s stay at this hotel, cannot recommend the hotel enough from the staff, cleanliness,food and drink. We arrived late at night and had a smooth check in, we were advised if we were hungry that there was food and drinks available at the restaurant, which I was very impressed. We did have about a 20min wait for the gentleman and his buggy to take us to our room as he was the only 1 who was working. Our room was very impressive as we didn’t expect it to be so big and spacious, it was spotlessly clean all round. We had tea/coffee making facilities, mini fridge and 3 large bottles of water which were replaced daily if drank.plenty of hanging space and selves to put clothes in the wardrobe and a safety deposit box which was free to use which makes a Chang. Breakfast and lunch is served in the same restaurant with waiters on hand to take you to a clean table, so no walking around for ages looking for a seat, The food was plentiful but as always with all inclusive not the hottest but a microwave is provided if required. Evening meal is served in a much nicer dining room where you were shown to your seat again a great touch and drinks were brought to you and topped up if needed. The grounds are kept lovely and tidy and with very pleasant staff. There is a free shuttle bus to take you and bring you back to the main square about 30min away which you do need to book your time slot on the app or at reception. We would highly recommend this hotel for anyone who is thinking of going and not to be put off by any bad reviews

Recently returned from a 7 night visit. The restaurant, animation, housekeeping, and bar teams are exceptional and work tirelessly to deliver a memorable guest experience. Our room was cleaned daily, and fresh towels were provided regularly. Unfortunately, the reception team did not consistently reflect the same high standards. Given the importance of their role in creating first impressions and supporting guests throughout their stay, there appears to be an opportunity for further training and development needed. A stronger management oversight to ensure consistently high standard of service across this area is required. It was sad to hear that the good reception staff from last year are no longer with the team, as their professionalism and customer-focused approach were a valuable asset to the resort. While the RIU app is a useful tool, it often seemed to be the primary solution offered by the reception team. A more proactive and personalised approach to guest assistance would further enhance the overall guest experience.

Lovely place, staff are really friendly, the entertainment staff (especially MAD ) will go above and beyond making sure you are ok and if we need anything we need they will be there for you. KHALID was just the nicest person I’ve ever met, full of smiles/energy and is really really lovely. The rooms are dated and need a lick of paint, bedding is very thin and towels are very worn. Food is very much the same most days, could do with being hotter as most dishes were luke warm. Restaurant and all around is spotlessly clean, no rubbish anywhere. Always easy to find a sun-bed and umbrella, pool staff are fabulous but lifeguards one in particular who sits on the side of pool makes you feel very uncomfortable. Apart from that we had a very good week, hotel lovely and weather was amazing 40degrees plus. Would go back to explore more of Marrakesh.

Rooms were a good size for families. Although there were no interconnecting rooms, having rooms next to each other with an added outside door worked well. Pool was enjoyable. Free bus service into the centre of Morocco was very useful we did not had deal with taxi stress . All-inclusive package was excellent value for money. Very impressed that a family of four could stay in a 5-star hotel at this price through TUI Holidays. Overall, the hotel staff and food were amazing. Negative Comments Rooms could do with updating. Air conditioning was not very good. We had an issue with the bath tap in our first room and needed to change rooms. No interconnecting family rooms available.

Evening entertainment, there is none. ! The Italian restaurant ( buffet ) Macdonalds is more Italian !!! Moroccan ! Room is nice , that’s about it. ( buffet again ) just an extention of the main buffet !! Going out for our last two nights . Cannot face the Luke warm food , not sure how they get away with serving Luke warm meat !!! Do not rely on your few coffee, milk or tea bags being replenished in your room . Will not be returning. Shame the staff are lovely ! It’s just the food !! Same old lunch and breakfast , not a lot of choice I’m afraid .

Just returned from a stay at the hotel Palmeraie, Morocco. We have stayed here a few years ago with our grown up family and decided to return again as a couple. The holiday experience from start to finish was excellent. It is difficult to find fault with the hotel. The staff without doubt in all aspects of the stay were outstanding. ALL staff in all roles were very welcoming and made every effort to make you feel a valued guest. In truth the staff is without doubt the hotels strength. The various restaurant staff and all bar staff were exemplary and genuine. The animation team were also outstanding making an effort to talk with you at different times whether it be during daily activities or when they dressed up for the evening and interacted with guests…..again very genuine and warm people. The grounds are superb with fountains and large ponds with greenery everywhere on site. The rooms were very large and spacious and cleaned spotlessly everyday as we requested. The food was varied and plentiful with ample choices and great quality. There is a very large swimming pool where activites are run and nearby other additional facilities eg French Bowles, tennis, volleyball, darts, table tennis, indoor pool, children’s club area with separate facilities. Even Bingo. We booked an evening to eat in the Italian restaurant and the Moroccan Restaurant which was a very enjoyable more intimate experience. The hotel puts on a shuttle service throughout everyday into the centre / return of Marrakesh and the Medina. Night time is an experience for the senses with sights, sounds and smells. Overall we felt the standard of service in all respects and a very well maintained and green environment everywhere with good food and a variety of activites to opt in or out of made for a fabulous holiday. No doubt we return again

My sister and I stayed in May 2026 for 4 nights a short and quick break from the daily grind. What we found was a beautiful set out hotel in stunning grounds with great amenities. The rooms were spacious, very clean albeit in need of a little updating. The way they are set out are lovely with jasmine and other vines growing up onto the upper floor ( two storeys) . They were cleaned daily. I had seen reviews on here saying no bed linen was changed but there is a card you place on the bed when you want the bedding changed and you leave the towels on the shower when they need to be changed it’s a green and fair hotel! The pool is lovely, big and spacious with plenty of beds. Breakfast would start at 7.30 and we would be sat out by the pool by 8.20 ish ready for the day/ morning depending what other adventures we were up too. The breakfast I struggled with ( no bacon and only turkey sausage, but fruits and yogurt weee lovely) but other meal times were lovely always finding something, some wonderful salads, Moroccan dishes and European cuisine. It’s a good way of trying new things! The drinks in the bars were great, mojitos were AWSOME and all made by hand, no pre mixtures. They make some wonderful coffee at the bars with trained baristas making latte and cappuccinos etc. we had the traditional mint tea a few times, which as a coffee drinker I thought I’d hate but loved it sweetened! Very refreshing! Bar staff were lovely and happy to help. The animation crew are around and I spoke to one girl one morning, we didn’t go to the entertainment as many others said it wasn’t worth it. From what we saw whilst they did the club dances on the pool side was half of them didn’t want to be there, no effort put in at all. The guy doing the water aerobics was very enthusiastic and energetic. The reception team at the main desk were very helpful when we needed a late check out, help with booking the shuttle etc. the free shuttle needs to be booked on the Rui app for journey there and back as very popular. We were told a 5 min walk to the start of the main square but it was more like 12 from the bus drop off. No problem but so you are aware. We were nervous about visiting the souks but loved the experience! There are plenty of shops with “fixed Price(prix) “ signs who don’t haggle or nag you so you can shop with no pressure or you can go haggle over a leather handbag, magnets etc. it was an excellent experience. It’s busy but exciting! The roads are manic as you will see as you transfer to the hotel and entertaining in itself. Back to hotel… would we go again .. yes absolutely! It was a lovely 4 night break, it’s not the place I could stay for 2 weeks but 7 days just outside of Marrakesh.. perfect! There are so many places to visit, history to explore, we are definitely coming back. We were looked after well, the hotel was beautiful and relaxing. A easy 5 stars from my sister and I in our early 50s but think we are still in our 20s! :)

L'emplacement et la verdure étaient agréable

Cons: Dans un premier temps, il nous a été proposé à la réception un pass invité pour un montant de 660 DH, nous indiquant clairement que mon invité pouvait rester jusqu’à 18h00. Après validation et paiement, un membre de votre personnel est ensuite venu nous demander le départ immédiat de mon invité, tout en nous proposant d’autres tarifs supplémentaires, ce qui a créé une situation très inconfortable et incompréhensible. Suite à cela, nous nous sommes rendus à la réception où il nous a été indiqué qu’il était finalement impossible de recevoir un invité dans ces conditions. Face à ces informations contradictoires, j’ai demandé à parler à un responsable. Le directeur nous a finalement confirmé que mon invité pouvait rester moyennant un supplément de 400 DH, somme que nous avons payée afin qu’il puisse rester jusqu’à 22h30. Au-delà du coût supplémentaire imprévu, cette gestion manque clairement de cohérence et a fortement impacté notre expérience au sein de votre établissement. Lors du dernier jour une dame a ouvert la porte alors que c'était mis "ne pas déranger" vu qu'on était entrain de finaliser pour sortir à midi 18 minutes, en me demandant d'enlever le "ne pas deranger" en partant !!

Personnel globalement froid et peu accueillant, de la réception jusqu’au bagagiste, sans chaleur ni sens du service. Concernant la restauration, c’est encore pire : les repas ressemblent davantage à ceux d’une cantine qu’à ceux d’un hôtel. Peu de choix, qualité médiocre et plats souvent tièdes. On est loin du niveau attendu. En résumé, une expérience décevante autant sur le plan humain que sur celui des prestations. Je ne recommande pas cet établissement. This is our 3rd stay and a few things have improved but more than a few have failed in our expectations based on our previous 2 stays. We like the newly refurbished pool area, looks much nicer than our previous visit, sadly thats were the improvements end! When did this hotel become a rowdy pool party hotel in the day? The last time we stayed there was aqua aerobics in the morning and some activities but NOTHING as loud and annoying as this. From around 11am the lovely music changes to constant dance type music, dances on the edge of the pool, noise is constant, it's louder than my ear pods. People running on floating mats, skipping on a canoe (someone is going to have a major injury on that i am guaranteeing you that), there is absolutely no time to rest, not even a few hours in the afternoon. This was not the hotel we thought we had booked. The food is no where near as good as it used to be, it's OK but we always enjoyed the variation, but its almost the same every night. This hotel has beautiful grounds and the staff are absolutely amazing, but we have now decided we will not be back. We first came here in 2015 and again in 2022, in fact in 2022 we cam here from another hotel because of the noise and when we got here it was just a haven to relax. We are really disappointed in our stay. If you want pool parties, staff jumping in the pool, constant noise then you will love this, but sadly it has changed in a way that doesn't align with what we expect on holiday. We love Marrakech and are back in 3 weeks to another hotel, so maybe we will find our new favourite. If you found an area deemed a "quiet" area with sun loungers, even without a pool, it would have been nicer. The staff however are amazing

Cons: Pour notre deuxième séjour à Marrakech on souhaitait un hôtel dans la Palmeraie pour passer qques jours de détente en famille. Nous avions déjà séjourné au RIU de Taghazout au Maroc et avions été enchanté. Nous avons donc réservé le RIU Tikida Palmeraie en ayant quand même noté qu’il avait 4 étoiles et non 5 comme celui de Taghazout. Mais malheureusement avec tte honnêteté ce ne fût que des déceptions!! Chambres très vieillissantes, restauration très passable, personnel pas aimable.. le rapport qualité-prix n’est pas là. Très déçus, nous ne réserverons plus dans cette chaîne d’hôtels.

From arriving at the hotel, seeing the staff at reception with such a lovely welcome. We have been coming every year to Palmeraie since it opened only missing Covid times. We have watched the staff grow into very professional staff. It is the staff who make this hotel, from the gardeners (there was no gardens like now when we first came), cleaners all the Chefs in Kitchen (,our Sufiyan) the Pool boys, all the Dining Room boys Mr Mustafa, Abdullah, Aadil, Sufiyan Salah run a very tight ship The bar staff, sorting and remembering our drinks, the porters. Sorry if we've forgotten anyone, ooh Adnan (2nd Manager), hope you got a rest Adnan after all that walking! We are treated like King&Queen loved the refurbishment in main hotel, but the best part, oohh the pool ! What a difference from last year, all retired, new beds, brollies fantastic! Thank you for the beautiful flowers for our 55th wedding anniversary, the lovely meals, was so so spoiled. (Sifuyan hope you are now back at work after your accident) Walking round the gardens is now an absolute pure joy. It's just like coming home drop your cases, see the boys and have a relaxing drink See you all again very soon John&Glenda

The location was great 20 mins outside of Marrakesh. The hotel offered a free daily shuttle bus which was welcomed. The hotel was very clean, decorated well with outstanding customer service. Great gym which as very sizeable with. Various weights and equipment.

Cons: The pool was always freezing however an indoor pool was offered. The entertainment could have been better. Food was nice but breakfast could have been improved. There isn’t enough variety of fruit.

The scale of this site is impressive, the pics don’t do it justice. The grounds are lush and there isn’t a blade of grass out of place, the grounds are immaculate and there is a great perimeter walk inside the grounds to walk off the meals! The pool is great, huge, the pics don’t do any of the resort justice. It’s well away from the hustle and bustle of marrakech, food is plentiful and well made and tasty. You won’t be sorry.

My daughter and I had 6 days here. The rooms were perfect for a mother and daughter sharing. Super comfy large beds . Lots of room. Loads of sun beds, grounds lovely. We used it as a base to go into Marrakech. Free shuttle great. Breakfast and lunch great. We went out for dinner a few times. The staff were absolutely amazing- literally could not do enough for you - a small tip is hugely appreciated. The animation team are all lovely and don’t hassle people. Special mention to Fadel at breakfast who remembered our tea order and rushed to serve us . Overall a great stay - thanks to all the very hardworking staff x

The staff was so friendly, kind, and helpful. They always had a smile on their face ready to help. From check in, cleaning staff, bar staff and restaurant staff, everyone was always happy! We also appreciated the free shuttle into town, however, we wanted to catch the shuttle back to the hotel after earlier plans in the town and we had no idea where to catch it. We only knew where to catch it the next day after we took it into town and got dropped off at the same place it picked up.

Cons: The food was not great. The restaurants that required reservations were not any different than the main buffets and provide the same food. I did not like that the Moroccan restaurant did not provide signs to explain what each dish was at the buffet. I did not eat much at that dinner because I was very unsure of what any of the food. I asked a chef about the soup and one had lamb and the other he said was vegetarian but after one spoonful, I noticed there was chicken in there. In addition to the food, the entertainment was very much lacking. The one show we attended, "Best of" was not of high standards. The staff looked to be enjoying their roles but I think more training or a different show would be better entertainment.

Just back from a 5 night stay , so that we could visit Marrakech. We almost went to Tikida Garden but this looked nicer. I have stayed twice at Riu Tikida Beach (TUI BLUE) in Agadir, a smaller hotel , the food here is not comparable. It's not bad, just not as much choice and not warm . Some dishes not labelled, including green ice cream , which was pistachio , not mint . If you have a food allergy , be wary. Waiters nice and a small tip was appreciated. Rooms are big and we had a spot in the 5000s at the back of the resort. Beautiful gardens but, if you have rain forecast, take a coat or umbrella, as it's a walk to the restaurants , uncovered. Pool area is nice and plenty of sunbeds . Pool freezing but it's unheated. Not many children but most were in the indoor pool, which we didn't use. If you get chance, do a balloon trip - it was amazing .

Booked via RIU direct and were kindly upgraded to a suite on our arrival. It was a huge room with a massive bed and double sink bathroom and there were lovely toiletries supplied. So thank you RUI. The rooms are all in 5 blocks in 2 storeys . Some are a walk away and as we had heavy rain and thunderstorms on 3 nights the paths were flooded and you need an umbrella to get there and back to bar/restaurants. Pool freezing so didnt go in but plenty of sunloungers to sunbathe on. Animation team very chatty and wanting people to join in but we didnt. Ate at Moroccan restaurant 1st night and was lovely. But we found the lunch time and evening buffets quite bland and not much choice compared to our 2 visits to RIU Tikida Beach at Agadir. And a serious issue with food labelling. This was spot on at Tikida Beach but lots of dishes, dips, pizzas, sides were not labelled so people would not eat them not knowing what was in them. My husband has a sea food allergy and the serving tongs were used for prawn pizzas and the other ones. No ice cream except vanilla was labelled when there was pistachio so anyoneserious nut allergy could have been very seriously ill . Very shocked at RIU not better at this at this hotel. Staff were all polite, helpful and lovely so it was a pleasure to tip them but I wouldnt say it was expected. Overall a nice hotel but for us it felt disjointed and not as sociable as Tikida Beach. The pool bar was ok but its missing an outside or other area for a drink other than the hotel reception/main bar area. Thanks for a lovely stay. And the chance of an upgrade in room.

Firstly we stayed here 13 years ago, so we wanted to see the difference. The hotel is lovely and tastefully decorated. With a mixture of French, Moroccan and English cuisine. Overall we really enjoyed our stay it was lovely weather which also helped. The hotel is very clean and the staff are really friendly and welcoming. This was a relaxation break and it was worth it. We had great nights sleep as the beds were very comfortable and the rooms were tastefully decorated. The only let down was the bathroom mirror & the cheap battered bin in the bathroom. We normally stay at the RIU Palaces so we didn’t expect anything near what we get at the palaces. There was always plenty to eat and quite a big choice. No individual made omelettes, Bacon or Baileys like at the palace but you were never short on choice.Would we go back 100% you get what you pay for and this hotel is certainly value for money.

Our fifth or sixth visit to this fabulous hotel. The staff are superb, the food is amazing and there is nothing not to like. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming, their attention to detail is faultless. It is so lovely to return to a place where they genuinely seem pleased to welcome you back. Hicham, Jamal and Ouidad in the restaurants, Abde at the pool and the ever attentive waiters in the bar in the evening are great. Also particularly enjoy the easy listening pianist.

Cons: Bars should have soya milk or other plant milk which they had during buffet. Wines should not be poured to the glasses beforehand, they were sitting there and its unsafe and so unclassy. ATM did not work during our stay. The food signs were all over the place, more vegan options.

This was our 5th stay at this hotel so you can easily guess that we like it there - the hotel and rooma are good, the gardens superb and the staff are generally excellent - there is always the odd one who doesn't have any interest in providing a good service. This hasn't changed over the years. However this time we were bitterly disappointed by the food. There was, as usual, lots to choose from but unfortunately it was much the same every day with only a few variations. I have never been offered as many turkey dishes before - I was beginning to think that it was Christmas! The worst part was that the food was regularly just warm and often cold. One breakfast a tray of sausages was taken out of its cabinet by a staff member without any gloves or cloths to protect his hands - they were decanted into the serving dish under the heat lamps. When I got to eat the ones I had selected I could understand why no gloves were required - they were cold - obviously they were relying on the heat lamps to bring them up to temperature instead of keeping them at temperature!!! This possibly explains why the first few bites of food were "hot" but the food then went very quickly cold - only the surface was being heated by the lamps. One evening a manager was close by so I pointed out to him that the food was cold - he took us to a chef who offered to make us something special and as we could not immediately suggest a dish he said he would bring a chef's surprise - this was quite tasty and mainly hot but there was one part that was just warm - not a good demonstration. Although the manager passed our table several times he didn't once ask if the new food was better or even show any recognition that we had previously spoken to him. It was obviously of no interest to him as to whether the problem had been resolved or not. We were there partially to celebrate our wedding anniversary and as the Moroccan restaurant was closed that evening we ate in the Italian. The food options weren't exciting but hotter than the main restaurant. However the service was very poor - we were 2nd sitting and obviously the staff were keen to get sorted to finish for the evening - whilst we were still eating they attempted twice to move tables to make our table for 2 into a table for 4. Also a waiter reached across in front of my wife as she was moving food from her plate to her mouth to pick up a used plate from the other side of the table nearly knocking the food from her hand - it was obviously too far to walk around to the other side of the table. It is possible that some of this is poor training and an excessive demand by management for dirty plates to be removed immediately - sometimes before a meal is finished. Suffice to say we will not be returning and we even wonder if it is safe to stay at another RIU hotel in case it is a general drop in standards across the chain - we have stayed in many other RIU hotels with no previous problems.

I travelled with my husband, my father and some friends. My father is 83 and had trouble with the slippery surfaces, especially the stairs to his apartment. The upper rooms are not conducive for people with mobility issues. The tiles outside become a real ice rink once wet Our rooms were very clean (I stayed in a large suit which was cleaned daily. However my fellow travellers rooms were only cleaned twice in one week. The outdoor pool is fantastic!. Cold on entering but good after a minute or so. The food on the whole was bland and uninspiring. Very little difference between lunch and dinner. Very similar menu every day. The greatest shame was the quality of Moroccan cuisine in the Moroccan restaurant of the hotel. Under seasoned and cooked without love. The restaurant "Italian" is to be avoided. Most of the menu is already in the main restaurant (the fact of putting tablecloths in the colours of Italy does not make it an "Italian" restaurant). very poor! The red, Rose and white wine are nice and bar staff will try an create proper cocktails if you talk them through it. Coffee at breakfast tastes of chicory. Wait for the bars to open for a proper coffee (9.30am) The staff are very friendly and helpful the security is excellent. I think the Animation staff are lovely but unnecessary. Communal areas are constantly cleaned and are sparkling. The shuttle to the city centre is an undeniable plus but is often fully booked. The TUI app is unreliable and you can only book most things via the app! Just doesn't work!! I would only recommend if some of these issues were addressed or if you are someone that is happy with lower standards.

I stayed at this hotel for 4 nights with my partner for my birthday. The hotel is lovely and the room was spacious, clean, with lots of storage and comfortable beds. It's worth noting that all doubles consist of 2 beds pushed together. The pool was lovely but too cold for swimming. Lots of loungers and umbrellas, shame it was not warm enough to sunbathe. Night time was very cold, big drop in temperature. The staff were very friendly, the entertainment team try to get you to participate in games every day. The evening entertainment was not impressive. The food was good even if not very varied. The restaurant staff produced a bottle of sparkling wine and a cake on my birthday, which was a really nice touch. The spirits are not branded and tasted horrible so I stuck to wine which wasn't great either. I was disappointed with the spa. My partner booked a hammam ritual and a facial for me and I thought they were both overpriced for what you get. All in all I would go back to this hotel, the pros outweigh the cons

We had a wonderful stay at the hotel —everything felt welcoming and relaxing. The hotel was clean throughout, with beautiful grounds and comfortable rooms. What really made our holiday special, though, was the exceptional friendliness and attentiveness of the entire team. Everyone we encountered went out of their way to make us feel welcome and looked after. In particular Abdellah in the restaurant took such great care of us every time with fantastic service, and genuine friendliness. He looked out for our son and truly made meals enjoyable, adding that personal touch that made the experience special. We also want to give special thanks to Mariem at reception. She was incredibly helpful when we needed assistance with the app and printing our boarding passes—especially after receiving some incorrect information from the TUI staff that could have caused real problems at the airport. The only minor downside was that the drinks and snack options felt a little limited at times, particularly compared to other all-inclusive stays. A few more choices would have been perfect. Overall, this was a fantastic experience, largely thanks to the outstanding staff. We’d happily return and highly recommend it—thank you to Abdellah, Mariem, and the whole team for making our trip so enjoyable!

It could have been better I travelled with my mum and aunt they are both in their 80s. The location of the rooms is not conducive for people with mobility issues. Our room was over 500 steps to the main facilities the grounds are lovely. The pool is very good. Hotel and rooms are very clean and is ideal for a family Holiday especially with children. The food could’ve been good. but was very bland and uninspiring the hotel is in a bad location. If you want to walk to the shops everything is a bus or Taxi ride away. The staff are friendly and helpful the security is very good but I can’t wait to get home. It’s just the small things add up so I would not stay at this hotel again and I would think twice before going on another Holiday from TUI as this was a bad recommendation from the travel agent

Super séjour de une semaine . Tres belle hotel . Le mobilier est très joli. Chambre spacieuse et grande . Hall d’entrée très espacé éclairer très bien entretenu, nettoyé tous les jours et belle deco . Beaucoup de personnel travaille dans cet hôtel les employés sont plutôt sympa la plupart en tout cas . La navette gratuite pour aller à la médina, c’est vraiment très pratique. Trois restaurants dont un marocain qui est très bien, le second est un italien qui est sans aucun intérêt et le troisième restaurant, le plus grand a beaucoup de choix, sauf pour les desserts qui sont très répétitifs. La formule All insclusive même les boissons, à tout heure de la journée, ainsi que les encas . Les animations pourraient être amélioré.

Cons: L’animation du soir est sans plus et beaucoup trop tard 21h30 le soir rien avant . Les gens font des excursions et sont parfois fatigués en rentrant et les enfants également jusqu’à 21h30. Ça fait un peu tard. Il faudrait prévoir les animations à partir de 20h30 voire 21 heures . Il n’y a que de la danse pas beaucoup d’ambiance et toujours répétitif. Les dessert dans le grand restaurant sont toujours les mêmes pas assez de choix .

The staff in the restaurant tried their best to help me. I also had a tooth ache. I happened to see 2 people from Transport who takes your luggage to the rooms, on asking them for help, they went above and beyond to help me. So I can say thank you to them, Mohamed and Youssef. I know it's not their job, but I can praise them for being willing to help guests. There's not a huge choice of food for someone who is lactose intolerant and with shellfish allergies. All in all 3 chefs and 6-7 staff members did their best to point out what foods I could eat. The bar staff on the patio were very attentive.

Cons: Well, I had a few problems with food, breakfast, lunch and dinner. No one caters for Lactose intolerant guests, even though I informed them. but I was violently throwing up one evening into early hours of the morning, with no sleep for 3 days, and couldn't eat anything. On the days I could eat, only one meal choice was chips, plain rice, some lentils, that was it, no other choices. As I didn't want to consume beef, lamb or chicken as it would be to heavy on my stomach, and I was in pain. As for some other restaurant staff, who works in the kitchen's, they must be taught/Have Training about "People's Allergy" and the seriousness, of this turning into a life-threatening allergic reaction" this is not good for anyone. There's not a huge choice of food for someone who is lactose intolerant and with shellfish allergies. I did inform reception, and was told to tell the restaurant. It would be a nice change to find out who has allergies, which is fewer than ever, but that a few meals are prepared separately for them and maybe a dessert of some kind throughout their stay. On 2 different nights there was 2 cockroachs in the toilet and shower room, the drain in the shower was a disgusting smell, on informing the people who clean the rooms, nothing much was done, it was not until I informed reception that someone was sent to my room. Last but not least: I paid 1,200. Dirham for a guide, well, it was not worth it, but she took me to a shop, that I'm sure she gets something out of it, we were there for over 3hrs with them talking about different herbs and oils, and spices etc and running up a bill, when I asked the price in pounds, all you heard was don't worry it's buy 2 get one free. I definitely got a refund, the guide and people in the shop was not happy, the prices are 200.-300. Dirham's higher than any place else.

I have visit this exact same hotel 3-4/times so far . Stuff amazing Rooms get cleaned sometimes twice a day. As we went as all inclusive there was allways around food ,snacks and desserts to enjoy. Bars amazing The only down size was the outdoor pool that it’s so cold that you can’t go in and that’s why it’s always empty but the hotel has an indoor heated pool which some how ease our mind each time we used it.

The hotel was excellent. The team were friendly and welcoming. The food was the biggest highlight.. it was outstanding especially on NYE with dressed salmon, huge langoustines to name a few. The room was spacious and well cleaned on a daily basis. We also used the spa and gym and indoor pool which were brilliant. My daughter also braved the outside pool which was a bit cold given the time of year. The indoor pool is heated if you want to swim There is a shuttle bus that travels regularly to the centre of Marrakesh where you can visit sites and shop at the Souks in the Medina

Cons: Le prix payé est inadmissible vu l’état de l’hôtel , les dysfonctionnements, la vétusté de tout, les repas pendant 3 jours la même chose et pas de choix Je suis allée dans de nombreux Riu avant je n’ai jamais vu un hotel avec autant de problèmes Je suis arrivée le 1er le 2 il n’y avait plus que le restaurant près de la réception qui était ouvert et le personnel rangeait tout le matériel et creusait dans les égouts Le 3 plus de boissons au bar de la piscine car c’était fermé J’ai payé 780€ pour 3 jours qui ne valait même pas 200€ Les seules personnes agréables étaient les dames qui nettoyaient l’hôtel et l’homme a la réception Le bagagiste s’est énervé et a claqué la porte parce que je n’avais pas de pourboire en m’insultant en arabe Au restaurant il n’y a que des hommes qui servent et c’est bizarre Voilà comment est servie une pinacollada Il y avait la piscine chauffée mais c’était très très sale La couette en dessous de la housse du lit était degueulasse Ma fille a été piquée, grosses doses rouges boursouflées

it’s been underwhelming. Not terrible, but definitely not what I expected. If you are of darker skin watch the inconsistencies in fair treatment at this location. I will NOT be back. At check-in, the front desk staff placed my family in a freezing room with no functioning lights, stating that the key system was down. However, while we were standing there, I watched them interrupt my check-in process to rescan another guest’s card so he could receive a late checkout. Shortly after, once we reached the room and raised concerns, the key system was suddenly “working” again. This lack of transparency was frustrating and set the tone for the stay. Unfortunately, this was not an isolated experience. On another occasion, while waiting for the resort shuttle, my family was already seated and confirmed on the list. Despite this, the driver allowed other guests who were not on the list to board and then asked us to step off the shuttle. This situation felt unfair and uncomfortable, and it raised concerns about inconsistent treatment of guests. I am very disgusted as I was with my young child. Overall, there seems to be a lack of consideration and consistency in guest service. I hope management takes these concerns seriously, as no guest should feel disregarded or treated differently during their stay. The food is terrible to be all inclusive. They reheat food daily and serve it the next day. It’s hard to find options for children. The lunch is a joke. Preheated food from the night before. The entertainment staff were very friendly and energetic. The bathroom and certain areas smelled molded around the property. The walk to your room back to main amenities is rather long and there is no courtesy shuttle at the front to help

Cons: This was our 4th visit and we found that the standard of the food has gone down. We were disappointed not to be given a room in the 1000 block which we had asked for prior to our arrival. Only when we arrived we were told that the heating was not working and it was all very vague whether I would be fixed during our stay or not. It was not and we found our block 5000 too far from the main block. We also lament to see the behaviour of many children not controlled by parents, running around, helping themselves to food the do not always eat, behaving badly.

The RIU Resort is visually beautiful, with a clean and well-maintained environment. The staff is generally friendly; however, most speak very limited English, which made communication challenging at times. The rooms are dated and in need of updates. The food selection was dry and limited, and one improvement I strongly wish for is clearer labeling of food items—especially at the Moroccan restaurant. Having the names of dishes displayed would help guests recognize and appreciate what they are eating. Unfortunately, the most serious issues occurred on our departure day and jeopardized our flight. We were scheduled to check out at 9:00 AM for a 12:00 noon flight. We requested luggage pickup at 8:15 AM, but were told there was no bellboy available. Instead, a security staff member came, clearly stating that he was not a bellboy but would “help,” seemingly expecting a tip. To make matters worse, our room safe would not open. When we contacted the front desk for assistance, we were told to wait until 10:00 AM for the person who could reset the code. This was extremely frustrating, as we were under a tight timeline to catch our flight. For a resort of this caliber, it is unacceptable that there is no one available before 10:00 AM to handle something as basic and critical as a safe malfunction. Overall, despite the resort’s beauty and friendly staff, the operational issues, dated rooms, limited food options, and poor handling of urgent situations made this one of our worst resort experiences. Being a world traveler who travels at least twice a year with kids (infant, 2 years, 7 and 9 year old) I would not recommend this resort, especially for travelers with early flights. If you are looking for average experience this place is good, don’t expect more!!

Not much, everything not very good quality and dated. Maybe just good for old people. Pickalbratos hotel in Marrakesh is only a little more expensive and 5* which is actually 10 times the quality of here.

L'ambiance était vraiment bien. Le personnel de l'accueil et des restaurants et des bars étaient vraiment gentils et serviables. Les femmes de chambres adorables et vraiment très très gentilles. J'y ai passé une semaine seule et je me suis bien détendu. J'ai effectué 3 soins au SPA est le personnel est vraiment gentil et attentionné. Les prix sont vraiment compétitifs et je vous recommande dans faire.

Cons: Le sol autour de la piscine est cassé à plusieurs endroits et se serait bien qu'ils le réparent. Quelques machines à la salle de sport ne fonctionnent pas et à certains vélos, ils manquent les lanières pour maintenir les pieds.

J'ai apprécié l'infrastructure de l'hôtel et le fait qu'une navette était proposée pour le centre-ville. Au Kids club, Chaimae était très aimable avec les enfants. Yassine de l'atelier peinture également. Le show de dance de l'équipe d'animation a permis de passer un bon moment.

Cons: Malheureusement, les plats étaient systématiquement froids. On a séjourné 5 jours et la seule fois, où on a pu manger chaud c'était au restaurant marocain. Par ailleurs, il faisait froid dans la piscine couverte. Du coup, on n'a pas pu en profiter. Enfin, les enfants attendaient avec impatience le mini-disco le soir mais les deux animatrices ne faisaient aucun effort lors des prestations. Du coup, les enfants couraient dans tous les sens au lieu de danser.

The initial encounter was very negative. A hotel employee insisted on taking my luggage and became both aggressive and rude when I didn’t understand French. I explained that I only speak English and that I could carry my own bags. The person then followed me to the reception, glaring at me angrily the entire way.

There are three restaurants: An open buffet offering Moroccan, Italian, French, and English dishes A Moroccan restaurant An Italian restaurant You have to book in advance to get a table at the Moroccan or Italian restaurant, but honestly, they’re all the same. I booked dinner at the Italian restaurant and was really disappointed. It was basically a reduced version of the buffet—same food, just fewer options. The “Italian” dishes were a tasteless pizza, genuinely awful spaghetti, and a lasagna I didn’t even dare to try. The bar is also quite limited, especially when it comes to non-alcoholic drinks.

Wir waren zu Gast in Marokko, französisch geprägt. Das Hotel ist weitläufig und gut angelegt. Die Zimmer befinden sich an den Außenbereichen der Anlage und sind ruhig. Den Pool haben wir auf Grund des Wetters nicht genutzt. Die Restaurants, Frühstück und Dinner, sind getrennt, 2 separate Restaurants. Beide sind groß und hellhörig. Wir haben uns immer in eine Ecke gesetzt um etwas Ruhe zu haben. Raumteiler oder Lärmbegrenzer (Zwischenwände, Vorhänge) gibt es nicht. Das Personal war sehr freundlich, aufmerksam und zuvorkommend. Das Buffet zum Frühstück war völlig in Ordnung und ausreichend, große Auswahl an Brot, Käse, Wurst, Ei, Obst und Gemüse sowie Joghurt. Zum Abend war das Buffet gleichbleibend aufgebaut. Pizza und Nudelstation, eine Fleisch- bzw. Fischstation mit reichlich Menge, daneben Chevys mit Fleisch, Fisch, Karotoffeln, Gemüse, die Vegi Abteilung, Brotstation. 2 Chevys mit Tangine Gerichten vervollständigten das Angebot neben einer großen Dessertauswahl und Eis. Ausreichend! Beim Fisch hatten wir unserer Probleme, da er aus meiner Sicht nicht ausreichend durchgebraten war. Aber das ist nur meine Meinung. Die Getränkeauswahl ist sehr gut, der Tischservice ebenso. Das Zimmer ist großzügig, genug Platz. Allerdings nur Stilles Wasser, kein Sparkley oder Softgetränke, keinen Tee oder Kaffee. Separates WC, Bad mit großer Dusche und mäßig funktionierendem Lüfter. Die Matratzen sind super, wir haben phantastisch geschlafen. Die Reinigung war hervorragend. Die Bar am Abend bot überreichliche Auswahl. Der Service war mal gut, mal schlecht. Das liegt aber eindeutig am anwesenden Personal. Rezeption top, 12 von 10 Punkten. Shuttleservice zur Medina großartig! Check in und Check out top. Ja, weitere Bereiche haben wir nicht genutzt.

Cons: Wie oben schon erwähnt hätten wir im Restaurant gern etwas mehr Ruhe gehabt. Es ist alles offen und teilweise sehr laut, besonderes wenn viele Gäste im Haus sind. Im Zimmer gern einen Wasserkocher, etwas Tee und Kaffee.
