The riad was nicely decorated, very clean, and the staff were nice and always willing to help. The rooftop was wonderful for relaxing, reading or simply sunbathing.
Cons: The included breakfast didn't have any fruit, which was a pity, although it included freshly squeezed orange juice. The location was quite distant from the center of the Medina, but they had a practical agreement with a taxi company that made things much easier.

The Riad was amazing we had an excellent stay and Nadia was so friendly and helpful, letting us stay longer on the terrace after check out as my partner was unwell (and giving him a tea!) the room was lovely and the food was really good as well!
Cons: Everything was of a high standard and we didn’t experience any issues in the area but it is about 15 min walk into the centre of the Medina, but that wasn’t an issue for us and we felt safe walking around!

This was a beautiful Riad, in a more residential and quiet area of the Medina, but a short walk from the hustle n bustle of the souks. Nadia and her colleagues were really helpful, kind, welcoming, informative about the local area and were central to our stay in Riad Vert being very spcial and memorable. Breakfasts were delicious and we enjoyed 2 evening meals of tasty traditional morrocan food that were inexpensive.

During our stay at Riad Vert in Marrakesh, we enjoyed a truly memorable experience. The riad is ideally located in the heart of the Medina, offering a peaceful retreat away from the hustle and bustle of Jemaa El-Fnaa. Despite being just a short distance from the lively square, the riad provided a quiet and serene atmosphere, allowing us to relax after a day of exploring the vibrant city. The riad itself was a beautiful blend of traditional Moroccan architecture and modern comforts. From the intricate tilework to the nice courtyard, every corner was thoughtfully designed to make us feel at home. A highlight of our stay was the exceptional hospitality provided by Nadia. She was incredibly attentive and went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. Whether it was offering valuable insights into the best local attractions, arranging transportation, or simply making us feel welcome, Nadia’s warm and personalized service truly made our visit special. Riad Vert provided the perfect balance of tranquility and convenience, and we would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing stay in Marrakesh, away from the crowds but still close to the action. Our time there was unforgettable, and we’re grateful for Nadia’s hospitality.
Cons: We had to take a taxi every time we had to go back to the Riad at night.

We had a nice stay but some aspects could have been better. Riad is in the north of the medina, a fair bit away from the tourist area. About 25 mins walk to main square. The immediate area around the riad is a bit dark & it's hard to pick up a taxi anywhere near (unless it's the one the riad uses). Riad itself is lovely, tho' our room (1), is v near the entrance, too dark, too narrow, shower wets all the bathroom & the sink is too small & high up. Other rooms we passed upstairs looked lovely & light. The roof terrace is also very nice. Breakfast was q nice, but eggs/ yoghurt which we had for free in other places, was an extra here. Host lady & other staff were very nice & helpful though. You could book spa/hammam/trips thru the riad & taxi pick ups.

Stunning Riad and room. Quiet and so peaceful. The location was great and out of the way from the chaos but still convenient. The food was incredible and the staff was very attentive and helpful. It was an absolutely wonderful stay, wish we stayed longer.
Cons: The room was directly off the dining area which wasn't what we were expecting and was awkward... But we were still able to get a good night's sleep. Rooftop was beautiful but advertised as a "hot tub" which was freezing (January).

The aesthetics were beautiful, staff kind and in house meals delicious!
Cons: The wait for taxis to this location could often be quite a while. We did not feel comfortable walking the streets at times, especially in the early hours heading to meeting spots when tour companies would not collect from the location. There was also no alcohol available despite information provided to the contrary prior to arrival.

The Riad is lovely, with a nice central courtyard for meals and a beautiful rooftop area. The staff are so helpful and friendly, explaining everything, organising taxis and transfers and even making us mint tea when we got home late one evening. The location is great, just 20 minutes walk from the souks and Jemaa El Fna square.
Cons: When travelling home late at night it’s best to get a taxi as it felt a little too far to walk. It’s easy to get a taxi from the main square though so wasn’t a major issue.

This place is amazing. Nadia, Pauline and their staff cannot do enough for you. Amazing homemade food, great mint tea, wonderful Riad in a great location, totally walkable to most places, and if not they will arrange taxi's for you for a really good price. The delicious homemade breakfast was included and they will cook a beautiful traditional dinner for you for a reasonable price too. Located within the medina so you get such a feel for life there - its bonkers and we loved it, but we did appreciate the calmness of the riad after a day in the city. This riad twinned with the chaos of the markets and buzzing city energy are a great combination, i would definitely recommend.

The riad was very beautiful, my room was larger than expected and the staff was super friendly and helpful. Nadia & Pauline were fantastic. They helped with every request and also gave tips on how to behave, taxis, places to see etc.. And Fatima's food was also amazing. I highly recommend the accommodation here!
Cons: Communication in English, except with Nadia & Pauline, was sometimes a bit difficult. But nevertheless everything had gone well and it didn't detract from the friendliness of the house and the staff.

I liked the Riad and the great organization and kindness. Nadia is very professional and in the same time a warm welcoming lady. I'd like the location in the middle of the old town but easier for going everywhere. I really recommend this Road. I'd like the 2 days tour in the Zagora desert. Strongly recommend my great Berber expert travel guide Ibrahim Triss.
Cons: Difficult to say. Don't have enough time to travel for other Moroccan site. I really complain about the book com taxi irganizzation He let me far from the Riad in the middle of a uncnow place very upsetting and scary.

The hotel's location is a little out of the town and some of the streets nearby are very authentically Moroccan! In other words, the streets are dusty backstreets, full of bustle and there are young children, donkeys, mopeds and all sorts hurrying about. Some of the children try to help you, even when you don't need it. When we first arrived, I was surprised that a hotel could be lurking in these streets and I was a little worried that I had booked somewhere dodgy. But, do not fear! The moment you step through the door and enter the riad the sense of cool temperature, quiet, calm and peace overwhelms you and it is absolutely amazing! It seems impossible that such peace is just a door away from the busy back streets of old-town Marrakech. The only thing to break the calm serenity is the call to prayer which is close by. I loved it, because it made me feel on holiday, but it is very close by - especially at about 6:20 am! The food here is expensive compared to other places. However, after 8 days in Morocco, I can safely say it was the best we had throughout the whole holiday. We loved the sweet lamb tagine. The staff are lovely and very happy to help. We would definitely choose to come here again if we return to Marrakech.
Cons: We didn't mind at all because we were out and about most of the days, but the bedrooms are slightly on the snug side. Very comfy though and cool and dark. Breakfast was very bread based and I would have preferred more variety - such as yoghurt. There was an extra breakfast menu that included omelettes, yoghurt, fruit etc but you had to pay more.

Comfortable and clean Riad located away from the busy souks. It meant that we got to see the daily life of the locals rather than just the tourist area. It gave us a really authentic experience. The rooms were spacious and clean and it has a nice roof top area to relax after a busy day exploring. Definitely worth pre booking a taxi to pick you up from the airport as it takes you directly to your Riad. It would be very hard to find otherwise.
Cons: The noisy mosque close by that woke us up in the early hours but that’s part of the Moroccan experience that you expect within the medina.

Her bor man i slummen.

Pleasing hotel staff, clean facilities and very good tagine chicken. Bad odor from the bathroom of our Cigogne suite. We pay in dirhams and the riad charged 12 dhs to 1 euros whereas the bank charged 11.49 dhs to buy 1 euro. Located north end of the Medina, isolated if walking back at night but we had no problems re safety or touts.

We had one of the better dinners I had in Morroco. Sweet lamb and couscous was delicious and I highly recommend. We were greated w the traditional mint tea. They also included tasty biscotti. The manager was nice to stay late for our arrival and start early for our departure. She was very helpfull getting us familiar with the area. Thank you to the Riad for a wonderfull stay.

Riad vert review It's essential that you read the reviews before you select this Riad. If you are looking for the genuine Marrakech experience in a beautiful authentic Riad with great staff and very clean facilities then this is for you. If you are looking for the normal run of the mill boring hotel look elsewhere. Nadia and the staff are very helpful. You will be woken up at day break 5am with the call to prayers. Annoying but all part of the experience. Some tips to help with your stay. 1. Order the airport transfer through the hotel otherwise you WILL struggle to find it. It about a 50m walk from where the taxi stops down very narrow alleys. 2. Also let the hotel book any taxis you need as they walk you from the hotel door. 3. Get small local notes and change as fast as you can as No one seems to offer change and that results in excessive tips. 4. Download the map.me app on your phone. It works without Wi-Fi and signal so can be a good send. 5. You will get lost but don't worry ask shop keepers for directions and don't be put off by people telling you "that way is closed". They are trying to guide you so they can ask for money in reward. 6. Just around the corner from the Riad is a little shop for snacks etc 7. Learn "LA Shukran" said sharply means no thank you. This is like magic and stops any hassle.

The best thing about the Riad is the staff who will try and help you however they can. The Riad is very clean and comfortable and we decided to extend our stay. We therefore stayed in 3 different rooms and the only issue we had was in the canopy room where the air con was unable to cool the room effectively. We enjoyed the free breakfast that was slightly different every morning and the best mint tea we had in our whole trip was at Riad Vert. The Riad is a ten minutes walk from the souks but we liked this as it meant we got to know a non touristic part of the Medina.

Riad Vert is with no doubt the place to be in Marrakech. We had an amazing stay in Riat Vert, which I would define as dreamy, charming, and tranquil. Elegant decor and EXCELLENT service. The roof terrace is just perfect to take a break and cool off at the lovely pool. The food is scrumptious, an absolute melt in your moth. Nadia, who is the Ambassador at Riad Vert, makes you feel right at home. She is warm, kind, and extremely efficient. She takes good care of her guests and you can contact her even when she is off duty. Follow Nadia's wise tips as you will be in the best hands. The rest of the staff, cleaners, and night porter, are also excellent professionals. I strongly recommend Riad Vert if you are planning a getaway to Marrakech. I will definitely come back! From start to finish the team at Riad Vert were fantastic! Our room oozed morrocan style and was a pleasure to spend some relaxing time in. We had booked this room for our honeymoon and felt as though it was special enough for such occasion. The Riad itself is kept clean, tidy and a tranquil haven away from the hustle and bustle of the medina on its doorstep. The inclusive breakfast was a brilliant way to start each of our days and there were great extras available on the breakfast menu. We also ate lunch and dinner at the Riad mutliple times, the quality of cuisine is that of some of the top restaurants we ate at in Marrekech! Great local dishes and one of the best tagines we ate all week! We took a day out from Marrakech to visit the Ouzoud Waterfalls, this was an excursion booked through the Riad. This was one of the best days we had on our honeymoon. We were picked up at 8am and chauffeured to the natural beauty spot, the car was a newer 4x4 - air con and super clean. We met our guide at the falls who asked what we wanted to do, he tailored our day to us. Being nature lovers our guide took us well off the beaten path to find birds and plantlife. We had a mint tea break and also a tasty lunch all included. It was lovely, the tour was just us two and we had a great time with the guide and driver who made us laugh and made sure we were looked after. I would 100% recommend Riad Vert to anyone who would like to stay in the medina and find an authentic Moroccan vibe. Th

Upon arrival the first thing you notice is the strong smell of cigarettes. Smoking is allowed in the courtyard which wafts into the rooms since they are off the courtyard. The building and furnishings are nice and the staff are friendly. There is no pool. There is a jetted tub with cold water about 8 feet by 8 feet and about a foot and a half deep. The breakfast is bread and jam which seems to be standard in Morocco. The worst part is the location. The Riad is far from the square and it takes about 40 minutes if you don't get lost but you will. At night they recommend you take a cab to get back. Definitely not safe for a single woman. There are no restaurants near the Riad. The only place to eat is in the Riad and the prices are quite high.

I usually have excellent hotel experiences, but the experience at Riad Vert was one of the very best. Not only was the riad beautiful, but the staff, including managers Isabel and Nadia gave very helpful information in navigating Marrakech and making the very best experience. They so often went above and beyond that I felt like they were friends that I could depend on throughout our visit. They helped arrange daytrips and bath appointments, as well. Isabel told us that her goal is to make the riad feel like home. She and everyone at the riad succeeded so brilliantly that I already miss my home in Marrakech. I would strongly recommend a stay at Riad Vert, due to the exceptional staff, charming riad, and location close enough to the sites, but far enough away to be an oasis of calm.

The hotel is very charming, the room size is great. The breakfast is very delicious and the staff are very friendly. Isabel is a great host, super friendly and efficient, and great at explaining everything to us. The only thing is I got confused with the google pin drop of the hotel location, but then it wasn't the hotel's fault, it was google maps. We used the taxi recommended by the hotel a couple of times to get in and out of the hotel and the driver is great too and he picked us up from our requested locations and see us back to the front door of the hotel. It's a beautiful place and reasonable priced boutique hotel.

A lovely riad within walking distance of souks and square but away from the chaos. It's small and so almost feels like you are the only ones which is lovely after crazy medina! The riad does the best food at night and breakfast is amazing and slightly different everyday. The staff could not be more helpful! Our room was beautiful and large and so clean! I would recommend to everyone!

Very good experience, the staff has been extremely friendly and helpful. It is conveniently located, although it is at the heart of the old city maze, so we got lost a couple of times. But it is also what gives the place its charm, and getting lost is not a bad way to discover Marrakesh after all! I went in February and highly recommend it. Definitely great value for money off season. One of the most beautiful places I have stayed in.

we didn't have a whole lot of money to spend on hotels so we decided to try a riad. I am super glad that we did. It was a great experience being right in the middle of everyday life in the medina. the riad was very clean and peaceful. Our host greeted us when we arrived with some tea and made us feel at home. Everyone on the staff was very helpful and meals were wonderful. All shops and nightlife were a close walk or a short taxi ride. Issabel, the owner and host did the best she could answering the hundred questions we had about morocco. The rooftop lounge is a great place to unwind after a long day of shopping. I couldn't be more pleased with this riad.

My husband and I had a wonderful week in Marrakech and this was a lot to do with Riad Vert as we stayed there. It was so lovely. Isabel and Sana were both lovely friendly and helpful hosts and we were always made to feel comfortable and welcome. The food at the Riad was absolutely amazing and we chose to eat there on at least 4 evenings! The breakfasts were yummy! The room was nice and our bed was really comfortable. The room service was great and our room was always tidy and clean.

My Egyptian partner and I stayed here for 4 nights in April and our visit was far from the romantic, relaxed experience we had been looking forward to. Isabel's behaviour towards us was that of a 1950s boarding house ladylady and Sanaa wasn't much warmer/more helpful. (I have to say here that the other staff were lovely. It was just the owner and manager who were so unwelcoming.) For example, when I opened my mouth to ask Isabel a question on the morning of our third day, I was shushed, because other guests were still asleep. If I had speaking loudly, or if this had been early in the morning I probably wouldn't have minded, but this was a 9.40am! Also, having several times risked electrocution to fiddle with the dodgy light fitting in the very dark bathroom, I asked if it might be fixed, as the connection was loose and the light kept going out. "It's working now!" I was rudely informed, as if I were lying or intent on causing difficulties. All in all, we felt incredibly tense and on edge the whole time we were there and heaved a huge sigh of relief when we left. My advice to anyone considering staying at the Riad Vert is to rethink your plans. You might get the 'welcome' we received: a miserable experience.

the riad was very comfortable and had a lovely atmosphere. The staff particularly Sanaa were very friendly, warm and helpful providing maps directions and helping with trips out and shopping tips! and the food was a gorgeous genuine taste of morrocco.we would thoroughly recomend riad vert.If youve never been to marakech before i'd definately get the riad to organise your airport transfer it may cost 18euros but worth it as the medina is a rabbit warren!

I was stayed in this riad 3 nights with a friend in march. I recomend this riad if you would like to say in the north end of the medina. Its really nice and quiet here, and the staff are really helpfull and kind. We also eat dinner at the riad one night, really expensive, but the food was amazing. A pluss is the rooftop where you can relax with mint tea, and also get a tan (sunbeds). A bit hard to find the riad, but they have their own taximan who can drive and pick you up if you need it. All in all, a great stay!
