Everything! This hotel / Riad was perfect for our 3 night stay. Delighted we stayed in an authentic Moroccan accommodation. Situated a 15 minute walk from El Fnaa Square, it is a welcome oasis of calm after a day exploring the vibrant city. Breakfast was outstanding and staff could not be more helpful. We had dinner on two occasions and it was really good. We also enjoyed a hammam treatment in the hotel spa - fantastic way to end a trip to Marrakech.

Beautiful hotel, a peaceful escape in the heart of the Medina. Everything was tranquil! You could hear lovely bird songs, the garden in the hotel is exceptional as well as the stunning rooftop patio. The restaurant was also very nice, great quality. We had massages and hammam and both were excellent. Everyone is very nice, warm and helpful!

Cons: Generally speaking, I think there are better options for the same price. I wanted to treat myself after an exhausting trip across Morocco and also booked additional treatments like Hammam, etc. The staff was friendly but totally disorganized. Even after reconfirming all my bookings it didnât work out properly which was really frustrating. I think that shouldnât happen for a place where you spend such amount of money.

The property was in an ideal position. We enjoyed walking around the area with a guide seeing all the amazing buildings. We stayed in a Sultane double room which had a wrap around balcony. The room was on the top floor and it was as though we were amongst the trees. It was wonderful to hear the birds sing. The food (breakfast, lunch and dinner) was all amazing. The chef would not be out of place in a top London restaurant. The staff were wonderful.They were so helpful and eager to please.

Le petit-dĂ©jeuner est le meilleur qu'on ait eu lors de nos 16 jours au Maroc. Le personnel de l'hĂŽtel est trĂšs agrĂ©able et professionnel. Les lits sont trĂšs confortables, l'espace avec le balcon privĂ©, le hamac et la douche extĂ©rieure est un vrai rĂȘve! Il y a plusieurs petites attentions trĂšs apprĂ©ciĂ©es. Le jardin aussi est un rĂȘve en lui mĂȘme, et on peut y consommer de l'alcool en toute intimitĂ©. Nous sommes arrivĂ©s avant l'heure du check-in et nous avons pu profiter de la piscine. Il y a aussi une petite boutique qui peut dĂ©panner (par exemple pour de la crĂšme solaire ou maillot de bain, car nos bagages sont arrivĂ©s aprĂšs nous...) Tout nous a plu vraiment.
Cons: Lorsque nous y avons Ă©tĂ© il y a eu des petits problĂšmes de plomberie et on n'a pas eu d'eau froide pendant quelques heures, et il y a aussi eu un peu de bruit prĂšs de la piscine dĂ» aux travaux. Cons: Der Service ist sehr freundlich, aber manche Dinge gehen unter oder wirken etwas umstĂ€ndlich. Am Buffet sollte beispielsweise immer genĂŒgend und vollstĂ€ndiges Besteck bzw. Geschirr vorhanden sein. Es fehlten aber immer kleine GlĂ€ser fĂŒr Marmelade oder kleine Löffel, bespielsweise. Aber die Kellner waren ausnahmslos freundlich und zugewandt. Im Bad könnten die HandtĂŒcher mal ersetzt werden; die haben schon bessere Zeiten gesehen. Bei dem gehobenen Preis sollte das selbstverstĂ€ndlich sein.

The staff was ok but what I thought I was going to get versus what I actually received was a bit disappointing.
Cons: I was traveling with a friend and booked a deluxe double room. The first room we were shown was spacious and decent, but it didnât have a double bed as requested. The staff said they would upgrade us, but the new room ended up being smaller, with a tiny bathroom and two single beds pushed together to make one. The phone in our room didnât work, so we couldnât reach the front desk for help with things like arranging an earlier airport transfer or assistance with our bags. We had to carry our luggage down ourselves in a very small elevator. We decided to eat off the property and didnât spend much time using the hotel amenities. Since we were only there for one night, it was fine but for the price, I wouldnât stay here again.

This is a beautiful hotel within the walls of the Medina (old town), located in a quieter area. Itâs within walking distance of all the main attractions, but if youâre feeling tired or itâs too hot, itâs easy to catch a taxi. The hotel is a little oasis amid the chaos of the Medina. The rooms are modern and spotlessly clean, with a huge and very comfortable bed. All the common areas meet the standards of a true five-star hotel.

From the moment we checked in, we were met with incredible kindness and attention - greeted with a welcome drink and sweet treats. Our room was large, comfortable and had a beautiful balcony which allowed us to enjoy the peace and quiet of Moroccan paradise outside the hustle and bustle of the medinas/souks. The beds and pillows were comfortable and perfect to come home to after busy days of touring. The bathroom and shower was comfortable with good water pressure and products. There is a beautiful pool area and chairs to lay out. The daily breakfast was amazing - very big selection of food and I especially loved the omelet/egg bar where you could decide what you wanted to eat that morning. The service in the restaurant and the front desk was 5 star, specifially Taoufik and Hafid - Zouhair (our favorite waiter) was friendly and anticipated any need in the breakfast before we knew we needed it! Abdeljhafour and Zakaria were also great. Overall, I would highly recommend this riad for a unique and authentic experience in Marrakech - comfortable, great location - walkable to everything! Also - loved that the taxi could drop us and pick us up right in front of the riad, so no need to travel far with luggage!

The location in the medina is just what we wanted being in the old part of Marrakech. The hotel garden surrounding the outdoor restaurant and swimming pool was an oasis of greenery and calmness. The staff at the Reception Desk, Restaurant and bar were all extremely friendly and helpful. The only negative was our Superior room. We chose this room based on the pictures on the Expedia website which were the newly Refurbished rooms ours was not and was rather dark shabby. Although kept very clean it was not what I was paying for and it did not spoil our holiday in Marrakesh. I believe the price of the room should reflect what you are actually getting.

Reservar el taxi del hotel tanto para la llegada como para el regreso al aeropuerto fue un gran acierto: cĂłmodo, puntual y sin complicaciones. Vous entrez dans un vĂ©ritable havre de paix, oĂč vous pourriez rester des jours en apesanteur, Ă Ă©couter le chant des oiseaux, comme une voliĂšre Ă ciel ouvert, Ă regarder traverser les tortues sur la terrasse, Ă caresser le chat qui se prĂ©lasse sur un coussin ou sur les carreaux par-ci par -la, Ă refaire dix fois le tour des jardins, et monter sur le toit terrasse qui offre encore d autres points de vue et espaces merveilleux pour rĂȘver, respirer, regarder, Ă©couter et observer au loin le dĂ©dale des toits de Marrakech, entre les rames des palmiers, qui laissent entrevoir la Koutoubia tout au fond. On est dans un jardin merveilleux, protĂ©gĂ©, chouchoutĂ©. Le personnel est absolument gentil et disponible, la piscine absolument merveilleuse, au milieu des grands arbres, et le petit dĂ©jeuner copieux, typique et fabuleux. La chambre elle-mĂȘme Ă©tait un bonheur tellement elle Ă©tait dĂ©corĂ©e avec goĂ»t, c est un vrai luxe. Une mention spĂ©ciale aussi pour les repas merveilleux pris sur la terrasse, et la cuisine exceptionnelle du Maroc qui est ici maniĂ©e et remaniĂ©e avec goĂ»t et originalitĂ©. Tout Ă©tait parfait et vraiment dans le moindre dĂ©tail, si bien que chaque coup d'oeil vous semble ĂȘtre de l'ordre de l'Ćuvre d'art. Die Mitarbeiter sind hilfsbereit und freundlich. Beim FrĂŒhstĂŒck sind ein paar Kellner etwas langsam und auch nicht so gut ausgebildet.
Cons: Total unverstĂ€ndlich ist der Umstand, dass das Restaurant nicht klimatisiert ist und, bei 40 Grad Hitze, nicht mal Ventilatoren aufgestellt werden. Die Wasserdampf-DĂŒsen laufen den ganzen Tag, wenn aber niemand da sitzt. Abends waren sie ausgeschaltet und man geschwitzt wie verrĂŒckt. Das Wasser im Pool hatte eine leicht brĂ€unliche Farbe, was den Schluss zulĂ€sst, dass es nicht sehr sauber ist.

Bei dem Hotel handelt es sich um ein relativ groĂes Riad. Von der StraĂenseite völlig unscheinbar, versteckt sich im Innenhof ein sehr schöner Garten mit Swimmingpool und verschiedenen Sitzecken. Unser Zimmer hatte zusĂ€tzlich eine kleine private Terrasse mit Tisch und zwei StĂŒhlen. Die Ausstattung des Raumes war durchaus in Ordnung, wenn auch etwas in die Jahre gekommen, was aber nicht störend war. Das Bad war sauber, sowohl eine Wanne als auch Regendusche und Brause waren vorhanden. Wir haben dort drei NĂ€chte verbracht und abends jeweils im Hotel gegessen. Sowohl FrĂŒhstĂŒck als auch Abendessen waren sehr gut. Das Personal war ĂŒberaus freundlich.
Cons: Die Umgebung des Hotels in der Kasbah war nicht gerade toll. Die Gassen laden nicht unbedingt zum Bummeln ein und nette StraĂencafes oder Restaurants mit Tischen vor der TĂŒr sucht man vergebens. Da unterscheidet sich Marokko doch stark von Spanien oder Italien.

Les Jardins De La MĂ©dina is a gorgeous oasis in the busy town of Marrakech. With it's stunning palm trees, big pool and pool bar, it really is a sign for sore eyes. Our room was huge, it has a private balcony and a super king size bed. They come by your room twice a day - in the morning for clean-up and in the afternoon for some additional pampering. Breakfast is buffet style - a lot of options to pick from both cold and warm. Lunch and dinner options have good prices, great options depending on diet and preference. We did a couple's Hamam, I had a full deep-cleanse facial and my husband had a haircut and a professional shave - all of which were great!
Cons: The hotel leans more toward the old-school vibe. Their schedule for the restaurant is fixed and quite confusing: you can't eat whenever you want and also food options change dramatically between lunch and dinner. We ended up waiting until dinner to eat again after breakfast, which was not great. Breakfast is also underwhelming - I was expecting something a bit nicer given the price point and overall quality of the hotel. Drinks are very expensive at the bar and they seemed a little short staffed as it did take a really long time to get things delivered. You are also quite far out from the centre which is a plus and a minus - we enjoyed staying just on premise but you are then limited to their facilities the whole day!

The hotel is a hidden oasis right inside the old walls of Marrakesh. Each room is different and beautifully designed. The hotel is calm and tranquil. The breakfast, lunch and dinner we ate at the hotel was amazing. We tried two treatments and a harman at the spa which was out of this world.

The location was about 20 minutes walk from the medina which was ideal as it was a quiet place to relax when not exploring. The breakfast was a very good buffet breakfast with omelettes made to order. The gardens and pool area were beautiful and quiet. The staff were fantastic, very helpful and pleasant. If I were to return to marrakech I would stay here again without a doubt.

Once we walked through the door it was like an oasis of calm. It was a beautiful hotel, lovely gardens, restaurant, food and fantastic pool area. The spa was amazing too! Room was great with lovely features and a roof terrace. Most of all we liked the people working at the hotel, so friendly, kind and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. They were a very efficient team. I would 100% stay here again and recommend it.

Friendly welcome, beautiful building, fabulous gardens and gorgeous rooms (we had 113). It's maybe 15 minutes from the main part of town, but oh so worth the steps when you retreat to what is an oasis. Six out five stars!

Fabulous, loved this beautiful hotel, it was an oasis in the old town, great breakfast and loved our garden room listening to the birds in the morning. Very professional welcoming reception and staff very friendly. The spa was unbelievable and Iâve been to a few spas on my travels! Overall I highly recommend if visiting Marrakesh.

Cons: Reception not particularly friendly . Food was not good we only ate there one night. Ordered a taxi to take us to the airport, as we were ready early we asked if the time could be brought forward, but apparently not possible despite the taxi waiting outside, we then got in our taxi at time booked only for him to drive us round the corner then the driver got out saying he would be back in a few minutes so we had to wait in the taxi for him to come back ! Not a good service

I enjoyed the free snacks they shared with us with our tea or our wine. The pastries in the room were a nice touch. I liked the fact that I could book excursions through the hotel and put it on my bill. The bed was comfortable and the showers hot. The service is really good.

Quiet location just inside city walls which was ideal as it provided a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle. Staff could not have been more helpful - nothing was a problem. So polite and respectful. They made our stay very special. The hotel itself exudes old world charm with top notch personal service and lovely touches like tea and snacks on arrival and hats in your room to protect against the sun. Beds were very comfy too.

It is a little haven in the Old Town of Marrakesh. Beautiful gardens which offer serenity. The restaurant and bar all face the gardens and pool which makes it a lovely place to eat . The staff were all very lovely and helpful and the food was very nice . The hotel upgraded our room to have a terrace which was a nice addition as at this time of year the pool was predominantly in the shade.
Cons: The waiters during dinner could have been a little bit more attentive . They could disappear for some time and forget when you had asked for something . This could be exasperated by being sat indoors where you were at times hidden. The housekeeping could have been better. We had aglass shelves and a glass table , all of which remained extremely dusty our entire stay . We were given a choice of sprays for our pillow when we arrived but our pillows never smelt of any spray so it seemed like a gimmick. The housekeeper also took our bath towels and didn't replace them and took our second key. We didn't raise the shelves whilst we were there and I am sure that the hotel would have been on it straight away but it shouldn't be like that for the standard of the hotel.

Cons: Our room was very, very dark and did not live up to photos on the website, hence somewhat disappointed. Due to layout of the room, it also felt very cramped. Unfortunately there were road works just outside the riad, so getting to and from the riad was very dusty and not very pleasant. Obviously just a temporary problem, but frustrating.

The hotelâs gardens were beautiful, an oasis of greenery with birds buzzing round and singing, even tortoises, didnât see many creepy crawlies. Pool was heated and seating around it was good. Our room was beautiful on the first floor with views of the pool and gardens and with a little balcony. I had booked a garden room and was not disappointed.
Cons: We were disappointed with the food. Breakfast was nice, beautiful plain yoghurt with thick honey and fresh fruit. Choice of hot breakfast afterwards. Breads very fresh . Nibbles that came with drinks in the evening were local and very delicious and came very generously, served us as a starter. The dinner menu was less exciting, think a more local menu would have been preferable.

Home to a former princess the hotel retains an air of charm and elegance. Heritage seeps from its pores while lacking non of the comforts of a modern hotel which tend to lack soul. The hotel centres around apparently the largest private garden in the medina peppered with shady places to sit, a lovely veranda to eat under and a cute pool for lolling in the afternoon after a hectic jaunt around the souks - nearly perfect.
Cons: Nothing to dislike - perhaps the two and a half evening service at dinner could pick up the pace a tad.

The location is very good and it is indeed an oasis in the Medina. So nice and peaceful once you go through the door into the hotel. Staff are very friendly and was easy to organise an airport pick up as well as a guided tour of the medina, which I would highly recommend doing your first day there. Our rooms were lovely and the pool area very picturesque. This hotel was recommended to us by a friend and Iâd certainly recommend it to anyone visiting Marrakech.

This is a beautiful hotel that is a relaxing oasis away from the chaos of the city. The staff were amazing and always very friendly, and couldnât do enough for you. Our solarium room was fantastic with its roof top terrace with two sun beds and an umbrella. We booked a massage and it was the best massage weâd ever had. The hotel has amazing gardens and much to our delight some resident tortoises which we fed. We also had the wonderful experience of seeing one of the baby tortoises. I read previous reviews and saw the photos but this went beyond all expectations. We loved our stay and didnât want to leave. Thank you so much to Amina and her team and in particular to Haveed in the restaurant who was a delight.

This is a small hotel with a distinct Moroccan feel and beautiful gardens that hug the pool and rooms. My room was a little tired decor wise but had the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in (including my own at home!). Excellent aircon and a free bottle of water each day. The stone floor in my room added to keeping it cool in the hot August sun of 46°C but it seemed grubby, as on wiping up a spillage of suncream, a fair amount of what look like dirt, came up too . Benefit of the doubt would say it could be discolouration from the terracotta floor tiles. The tiny ants crawling out from the edge of the sink taps in the bathroom were somewhat disconcerting. Great shower, though the hot/cold signs were transposed and I stupidly didn't cotton on until I'd asked the plumber to look at my cold shower! (Room 119). The room overall was very charming, which was just as well. The little outside sitting area was also a nice addition though not used as i was alone. The staff were courteous and helpful. The food at breakfast was abundant however the evening meals were disappointing depending on your choice. Lovely pool area but as usual people leave towels and belongings to reserve them whilst disappearing for hours. The hotel is in a convenient quiet spot not far from some shopping and attractions that are walking distance. We got taxis to venture further for dinner on three occasions out of our six nights. We did the sunrise hot air balloon experience which was excellent.

Se puede ir caminando hasta la plaza Jemaa el-Fnaa que estĂĄ a 15-20 minutos y los taxi pueden acceder hasta la misma puerta del hotel. Piscina agradable y tranquila. Desayuno muy agradable en el jardĂn. El restaurante del hotel es muy tranquilo y agradable, tambiĂ©n en el jardĂn y con difusores para refrescar en los dĂas mĂĄs calurosos. Se puede comer tanto snack como carta mĂĄs elaborada, todo a precio razonables.
Cons: En Agosto, cuando hay mĂĄs afluencia de personas en la piscina, serĂa interesante evitar que las tumbonas permanezcan reservadas con toallas y enseres sin que haya nadie en ellas durante horas. Varios dĂas tuvimos dificultad para tener tumbona aunque habĂa muchas vacias.

The hotel is a wonderful, green respite from the heat and noise of the Medina, with front desk staff who are very friendly, helpful and professional. The pool is not large but provides a tranquil and cool escape nonethless, and one can have drinks by it. Breakfast is set up outside under the shade and trees, and is extensive, with many choices both Moroccan and international, and the fresh juices are refreshingly good. We loved our large, quiet room and bathroom with the rain shower - and the amenities it provided (coffee, tea, frig, thoughtfully provided straw hats etc.) and used it as a cool retreat to recover from the heat after long walks all over Marrakesh. The only suggestion would be to include firmer pillows along with the softer ones perhaps, but we were very comfortable. We ate dinner at the restaurant 2 nights, choosing largely the Moroccan options. Every choice was really good and well-presented, with inventive desserts. The waitstaff are kind and attentive as well (especially the waiter whose name begins with a Z...) The spa is wonderful - I used the hammam and had a massage (from Oum??) which was arguably the best I've ever had. I have stayed at the Jardins de la Koutobia as well, and this hotel is better by far. Thanks to all the folks at the Jardins de la Medina - I will be back for sure!

Bed comfortable. Internet good. Breakfast OK but could be a lot better. TV far too small. We were offered a room upgrade to a suite on day 2 to make us happy after the airport transfer issue which was a stunning room but we declined as we couldn't be bothered moving.
Cons: Room old and in need of renovation. Restaurant full of bees the entire time so had to watch that we didn't get stung. Not enough lounges by the pool for all guests. Room air-conditioning a bit noisy and can't turn fan down enough. Booked hotel transfer from airport but driver didn't turn up, so rang repeatedly to get hotel to organise another driver which was very frustrating after a long day and entering the heat of Marrakech -Not a good start to the holiday! The gym is completely outside in the heat with no offering of towels or water and doesn't open till 9am, which is about 3hrs too late! Room has too much furniture (an alligator carving plus some odd chair that'd break if you sat on it) so hard to find space for two large suitcases. Room lacking the traditional Moroccan touches which is what I was hoping for.

Perfect to relax by during the hot Marrakesh afternoons. Location was ideal - within the walled 'old town' and close enough to walk to Jemaa el-Fnaa square and the Souks, but equally far enough away to feel like a very calm and quiet area.

LOVED our experience here very very much! Les jardin was visually stunning, it's not a chain hotel which we love but the architecture of it is still beautiful and authentic and we love the history of the place where it was once owned by a princess (we didn't fact check or anything but the idea is nice haha). We arrived very late and although the hotel kitchen was closed they very kindly made an exception for us as they didn't want us to go hungry after a very long and tiring travel day which we really appreciated. The hotel was also very thoughtful in leaving us flower, Moroccan snacks, pastries, a bottle of wine and plenty of water. All a super nice touch and we loved it all!!! And if you book ahead you can also get a discount on their spa service too! Which we fully took advantage of. We tried the hammam, although it wasn't quite what I expected (from previous hamman experiences i've had) we thoroughly enjoyed it. The breakfast was also so delicious, we actually ended up having both lunch and dinner (in room on our first night) at the hotel and everything was so so yummy!! The restaurant staff were all superb as well. Really appreciate their help.
Cons: Didn't like the shampoo...it was the one thing that really stood out as a sore thumb, it made my hair feel sticky and dirty but other than that maybe the gap between the two twin beds being put together but this was very manageable.

Cons: Es ist gut zu wissen, welche Zimmer man bucht. Es gibt Unterschiede in der gleichen Kategorie. Manchmal sehr hellhörig. Fenster/TĂŒren bieten keinen groĂen GerĂ€uscheschutz. Nur wenig Zimmer mit privaten Terrassen. In der Hauptsaison könnte es zu wenig Platz am Pool geben.

Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und Hilfsbereit und der Garten ein Traum. Auch das Wellness kann ich empfehlen. Von den Zimmern hatte ich ein âSolarium-â Zimmer mit Rooftop. The staff at this hotel, and their welcoming kind hearted nature truly made our whole trip. Their work ethic is truly admirable, they go above and beyond to make sure you are comfortable, have everything you need and provide great advice for places to visit/ eat. So sad we didn't stay for longer, we will 1000% be returning in the future. Every single staff member from reception, waiters, cleaning staff, SPA staff and grounds maintenance were all so lovely. You are welcomed to the hotel with morrocan tea and delicacies and you are then able to choose your fragrance for your room during your stay, these small touches really added to the overall boutique feel of the hotel. I can't fault a single thing. The location was great, a 20 minute walk to the souks/ main medina and short taxi rides to new Marrakesh. Don't hestitate to book! Marrakesh and the people truly has our hearts!
Cons: The only fault I can say that happened was our lunch order being incorrect, we stated we were vegetarian however received a meat pastry. However, the restaurant manager apologised and quickly got a new meal to us. This is likely due to the language barrier which is to be expected so if you have strict dietary requirements try to ensure these are conveyed in French to the staff.

The hotel is in the Medina in a cul de sac. Quiet. You can hear the birds sing in the early morning hours. The area between the rooms is very nicely treed. Staff are extremely polite, helpful and pleasant. The Hammam and massage was great. Buffet breakfast was very good and we loved the cappuccino and the mint tea. The room and the whole are was very clean. We walked to many different places with ease. The hotel is an old style hotel (not a modern hotel) but it is maintained extremely well and has true character. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to see the history of Marrakesh and the Medina.

Great location, a fantastic historical space and lovely pool. The food was high quality, staff friendly and attentive.
Cons: There was a strong smell in our room (136) coming from the plumbing, the smell quite overpowering so we didnât want to spend time in what was otherwise a the lovely spacious room! The perfume management sprayed in the room wasnât effective in mitigating the smell. We appreciate the Medina doesnât have the best drainage but we havenât experienced it that bad before.

The grounds of the property were exceptional. SO many lush palms, gardens, turtles, the pool, terraces, private seating areas... absolutely beautiful. They have thought of everything. The outdoor spaces were such a delight to experience. The staff & service was excellent. They were available to call taxis, receive us, answer questions, make suggestions. We felt very welcome. In the evenings, they had live music and the gardens were lit w lanterns...absolutely beautiful. Our favorite times were spent out by the pool in the afternoons. We relaxed under the palms and ordered drinks... could not wait to get home from the souks & out to the pool area...it was quite the oasis.
Cons: I thought our room (based on the images) would be more open with seating inside the room and large windows. Our room felt very dark and full of heavy pillows and drapery. However, we had 2 cozy chairs outside facing the garden and that was where we spent most of the time when we were in the room. Also, the mini-bar seemed a bit wasteful and cluttered with bar-snacks to purchase. It would have been better to remove all that stuff & have open space to use as we wanted.

The hotel location is very good in the Medina and has direct car access.
Cons: I think the service level is not at a 5 star hotel. Several times I ordered a car service (calling 15 minutes early to than have to wait in the lobby), waited in the bar 10 min to be taken a drink order, the room service order arrived incomplete
