Beautiful place . Me and my wife enjoyed every second of staying there. At la maisonette des Olivier we felt relaxed all the staff were very friendly and welcoming and helpful. The breakfast was very nice even though we had lots of bees joining us at the table , apart from that everything was nice. I recommend to everyone.

The property is very well maintained. The hotel has a nice swimming pool and well maintained gardens too. I shall add that the staff are very nice, obliging and the property is clean. The one and only downside is that on the same street there is an open rubbish dump. This is not hygienic and one could smell the rubbish from the pavement too. Other than that the hotel is a great place to stay in. I hope to return there one day!

This is actually a really great hotel. It's far enough out of the centre to have reasonable air quality (a major problem in central areas of Marrakesh), although this means you need a car/taxi to get into town. Lovely, tranquil landscaped setting. The pool was warm enough for a pleasant swim at the start of December. Food in the restaurant is really good. Good breakfast, too. Pleasant, friendly staff. A good choice for Marrakesh!

Pros: Excellent pool area and sun loungers, feels like a private retreat as it’s usually quite quiet! The grounds are beautiful! Full of birds singing and the traditional riads were pleasing on the eye. The waiting staff are fantastic and made us feel very welcomed (Mohammed and Abdul Latif!). Lunch menu by the pool was great, highly recommend their cheese burger and ice cream selections! Mini bar stocked with water which was useful and room cleaned everyday. Our shower was particularly luxurious and very big. The taxi shuttle service was also useful and cheaper compared to external areas. Cons: limited dining options for both breakfast and dinner, and often very poor, hygiene in the swimming area toilets can be improved, some staff seem unresponsive or slow (waited couple days for our safe code). Sadly, the water in their outdoor ponds seem very old and rancid, not ideal for the fish and turtles they home.

La Maison Des Oliviers is situated away from the hustle and bussle of Marrakech and close to residential area and adjacent to a senior school. It is set in wel maintained and pretty grounds and is therfore a peaceful sanctary after the buzz, frenetic pace and hubub of Marrakech. The mini bus service is efficient, reasonably priced and mainly provided by the delightful Momo, who is so helpful and friendly. the pool area is lovely, quiet and has space enough for most guests. it has a pay bar and lunches are served here. The main restaurant, in the main complex, is tranquil, subdued and comfortable. the food is vairiable but most things on the menu are good and we recommend the fillet steak! Service is exceptionally good 98% of the time. The building design gives an authenticity to the hotel and is subdivided into smaller blocks that helps to maintain the tranquility. The rooms are comfortable and spacious and the servicing of the rooms is first class. Our only negative comments are that the toilet and the seperate shower lacked any ventilation and there are no facilities for tea and coffee making in the rooms. Overall we found our nine days at the hotel to be comfortable and highly satisfactory. All staff are helpful and friedly and the reception staff were all extremely courteous, helpful and friendly.

Amazing hotel ! Perfect to take a break from the very loud and busy Marrakech. Big breakfast buffet and nice restaurant for dinner. Only negative side is for the kids at the pool. Nobody makes them respect the rules (no jump, no dive, etc). So it's less relaxing.

The staff were always happy to help with requests and always on hand for advice about local shops and currency issues. It felt like they really cared. It's a lovely place, too. There were quite a lot of files there, which we weren't expecting, but that didn't impact our stay at all. Only mention as it might put some people off.

Out of town hotel with a calm atmosphere. Good well appointed rooms with air con and reverse air con for colder nights (we visited early March). Restaurant good but a few more veggie choices would have been welcome. Hotel will organise a taxi to go into Marrakech (100 dirhams each way). Small spa with hammam on site. No money exchange but plenty in town.

Lack of information at the hotel on the hotel including safe, food, excursions. We were not comfortable walking outside the hotel and getting to any kind of shop would have meant a taxi. Was not particularly comfortable as 2 women walking anywhere. You have pay for everything from the hotel at hotel prices. This also means eating at the hotel and the evening menu is quite limited. The room maids were good but reception staff were not very interested. Room itself was clean if a bit tired.

I travelled with 3 other friends, we loved the Riad kind of look of the resort, it made us feel like we were really away, far from home. The rooms are really nice, we spent most of our days away due to sight seeing. We didn’t expect an extra bill at 4am while checking out, it is the tourist tax. We should have been billed earlier during our hotel reservation while booking or we should have been advised of it at check in. Luckily one of the girls still had some dirhams to spare, who knows, we would have missed our flight figuring out how to get money at 4am. That dumped on good experience we had already had. Check the booking fine print. Overall it is a good hotel, very quiet and close to the city.

A lovely clean hotel with nice looking rooms and comfy beds. The staff were friendly and helpful. The bar closed at 9pm and there was nothing else to do at the hotel or local area so that was disappointing. Didn’t feel comfortable going outside the hotel as it was in a bad area. Expected the shop to provide snacks and drinks to buy but only had clothes and didn’t open when it was supposed to. Our electric sockets had not been upgraded so didn’t fit our travel adapters despite stating they were able to be used in Morocco. Our bathroom sink didn’t drain away so we had to do this manually by lifting the plug. No-one came to help us with the safe when we asked. Builders were working from 8am most days which meant we were up early every morning! The dinner food was lovely, as was the lunch. Breakfast didn’t give many options other than bread and fruit. I left my sunglasses on the table at lunch and they were never found. Overall ok stay but wouldn’t stay again.

We reserved 2 senior suites for one night at the hotel “La Mason de Oliviers” on 1/2/19. When we checked in, we were instead given one suite and one deluxe room which is more than 20% cheaper than what we had paid. Hotel staff failed to disclose this when we checked in, and only when we brought it to their attention, they told us that the entire hotel was full so they could not give us the suite we paid for and they asked us to bring this up to the boss the next morning to get a price adjustment. The next morning, the boss was not there and the hotel staff instead asked us to bring it up with hotels.com to get a reimbursement. The wifi connection was not working in the rooms. When we brought this up to the hotel staff, they pointed to their phones and said that since their connection worked, that it was a problem with our apple devices. We tried on 5 devices and none of them worked. In the suite, 4 of the 5 lightbulbs were out [thus the room was incredibly dim] and the hotel staff blamed it on the housekeeper for not bringing the matter to their attention and said that they did not have additional lightbulbs on premise to replace them. We mentioned that the de luxe room had ants but this was ignored and not taken care of. Furthermore, the water in our rooms either alternated between freezing cold or scalding hot or no hot water at all. The hotel staff implied that we were not being truthful about this and advised us to leave the water running for 15 min. It did not work

The check in went quite smoothly, the hotel was difficult to find. After arriving in the room the safe remained locked and it took 45 minutes before it was opened. The restaurant and bar were quite pricey which was a shame as in the general locality there were not many other options. On the plus side the food was really good and the waitress very pleasant. Breakfast was extensive and good. On check-out the experience drastically changed when it became evident perhaps that we were not the right sort of 'couple' with the duty manager being quite rude and dismissive. The hotel is beautiful and set in l9vely garden's with a nice mixture of families and couples. It is a real shame to feel we were not so welcome.

This was our second visit in three years. We tried the superior room this time and loved it! Loads of space and a wonderful shower! Staff all seem to be the same - which was a pleasant surprise. Food is - as usual - wonderful, and the grounds of this "house of olives"(trees) as verdant and well managed as always. This is a very relaxing hideaway that delivers peace and tranquility to the very highest standard of indulgence!

Charming hotel outside of Marrakech. We arrived on a very late flight and booked this as a place to sleep and shower before transferring to Asni. We were very surprised and absolutely loved our short stay. The best features were the lovely staff, especially the gentleman that welcomed us late at night, and the garden trampoline.

Prices are high and service is unprofessional, unfriendly and unattentive. As an example, the restaurant menu doesn't offer the option of ordering a pot (birette) of Moroccan mint tea, only small, overpriced glasses of tea. Very frustrating when this is standard fare anywhere in Morocco. After we complained about this, we experienced very poor service in the hotel dining room the following two evenings. Serving staff deliberately refused to clear our plates or offer us anything else like tea or coffee for at least 30 minutes after we had finished. Was it because my husband is Moroccan and we were not one of the all-inclusive couples from Europe? We have never experienced such disrespectful treatment anywhere. This experience left us feeling very angry and disappointed, which is very unfortunate because the hotel, pool and grounds are very comfortable and relaxing. The hotel would benefit from a regular shuttle service into the centre of the city, as it is a long taxi riide to most places guests would want to visit. The hotel could also use a new inventory of towels - the ones we were given in our room and for use by the pool were barely fit to use in a car wash.

My mother and I stayed here for a week, and had a wonderful time. Since we do not speak French, the staff was very helpful in helping us arrange our excursions and get around town. Overall, we had a wonderful time in Marrakech and I attribute it, in part, to the hotel :) Highly recommend this hotel :)

Once I arrived at the airport, the pick up I arranged with the hotel, wasn’t there. I had to call the hotel to arrange another pick up and had absolutely no apology from the receptionist. Omar, the driver said nobody told him even though I gave my flight number and time to the lady on reception. Omar was a lovely guy who is only too happy to help! The lady on reception was extremely cold and not at all welcoming. We were shown to our very cold and dark room. After unpacking, I decided to have a shower which had no hot water! The beds were comfortable and I was happy to see extra blankets as it did get pretty cold at night. We had to move rooms that evening, much to the annoyance of the staff. Dinner wasn’t pleasent (I tried twice) and had no atmosphere in the restaurant. I did however enjoy the lunch by the pool and went to a restaurant nearby called Bladna (10 min walk) for dinner. The pool area was pretty and the sun beds were comfortable. The bonus to this hotel is the price. Aziz and Mustafa on reception were helpful and it is a pretty place to unwind.

We were a bit concerned as we approached the property as the surrounding area isn’t very nice - looks like it’s under construction but that work is not progressing. However, once inside the gates the hotel itself is charming - very traditional and beautiful - so don’t be put off by the local area. We only stayed one night but had a very pretty room with a little table outside. The evening meal was wonderful and included in our half board rate. Breakfast was ok but more staff would have been a good idea as the one waiter seemed a bit over stretched and the buffet wasn’t topped up often enough. We would definitely stay again - hopefully in better weather as the room was a bit chilly. I think it would be wonderful in Summer as the gardens and pool looked beautiful.

Really fantastic staff and good size hotel. Pros: 1-staff members are really helpful. They'll help you print off boarding passes, arrange taxis and trips and provide you with all the information you need. 2-location (away from the bustle of the center) 3-location (close to the airport) 4-hotel grounds, very art deco like 5-quiet and very peaceful 6- rooms are huge. Cons 1-location(no decent shops immediately within working distance) 2-location ( require a taxi to anywhere if relevance) 3- breakfast and restaurant. Limited offering for breakfast. Dinner appears quite pricey, menu was limited imo and overall we much preferred the authenticity (not necessarily quality) of the nearby restaurant bladna. 4- rooms could get quite cold at night time.

I had a winter break at this hotel. It is about 10 minutes from the Medina by taxi, which makes it quiet as its outside of the busy city, but still accessible. Only thing is that if you're looking for an evening stroll, this is not the place, as its not near to anything by foot. The hotel was excellent; could not fault anything about it. Room was huge and very clean. Superb food, all staff very friendly and attentive. The spa was great; had a very relaxing massage at a very reasonable price. I would definitely recommend it, and will certainly look to go back.

This was our 3rd visit to the hotel this year. We like it for its wonderful staff, cleanliness, good size rooms, peaceful location and wonderful food and wines. Set among Olive trees there is bird song and a feeling of well-being and contentment. Relax around the pool, meet new friends, enjoy the wonderful weather. Don't be put off by the local surroundings as you approach the Riad. There is local building work going on and areas of rubble and unfinished homes. However, once you go through the gates, you are transported into a gem of an Oasis in the desert. Peace and quiet and the wonderful smell of Jasmine melt your troubles away.

I stayed for three nights and would definitely return. The hotel was quiet and very relaxing, staff were attentive, friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very good, although lunch and dinner weren't great for a vegetarian. It's a bit out of the Medina, but there's a driver and taxis are cheap. I was given an upgrade to a larger room and it was lovely, very clean and roomy. There was lots of space in the gardens for a quiet sunbathe and swim. Very good all in all. Thanks for a great stay.

The hotel is very pretty and very relaxing and quiet. Our room was lovely and clean and very pretty. The dinner in the evening was delicious and reasonable priced. The lunch food at the bar was very expensive and not very good quality, because there is no where else to eat within walking distance we were restricted to the bar. We made orders at the bar, they got the orders wrong, we ordered chips and then asked them to take them off, and then we checked the bill and the chips were still there after asking them to remove them. We paid for our food bills in cash at the reception, and we were told they had no change at all. Which was very annoying as what Hotel doesn't have cash or coins for change for people? When we arrived the manager gave us an upgrade with a private pool which we were very lucky, we didn't ask for this but he gave it to us. Then when we went to check out we asked if there was quest showers (as we were there all day and not leaving till 6.30pm for the airport) and we were told only the showers were around the pool which has freezing cold water. We were not allowed to check out later. The showers around the pool are almost public and quite open, they were not private at all, and were freezing cold with no changing facilities, only toilets. So no where to get changed. We informed the manager that we would unfortunately not recommend this hotel, and he got very confrontation and very annoyed and argued with us. So it upset me as this was not appropriate

This hotel was not a four star rating. We went in late December where the nights are cold and damp. We had to ask for extra blankets and heaters in out rooms. The rooms have a shower with a big see through glass scree. I was staying with my teenage child but felt embarrassed for both of us as there was no privacy whilst showering. We had booked a twin room but did not expect this. The dinning room was cold and dark. There were elderly people staying here and they had problems seeing in the darkly lit room. The heating was turned on later on my weeks stay but it barely warmed the room up. For breakfast and Dinner we ate with our coats on. The crockery is chipped and the food is expensive. However the breakfast is lovely, one of the only plus's to the hotel. The hotel is about a 10-15 minutes drive from the Medina. It has high walls all the way around, which it probably needs to keep out the locals wafes and strays. We used the hotel transport on occasions but found this was expensive compared to local taxis. We were charged per person not a journey fare. There is a local bus at the end of the road, a number 25, however outside of the walls it does not feel safe. It looks like war torn Syria right outside the hotel walls and it seems everybody that walks past you want to harass you. The private pools look dirty with small tiles coming off the floor. The main pool was meant to be heated but was cold throughout our stay. Again the small tiles were coming of the floors and walls.

My boyfriend and I stayed three nights at the La Maison in December 2016. The hotel was basically clean, very spacious, and offered buffet breakfast which was pretty good. The gentleman at the front desk speaks English and was helpful. This hotel is located 7km away from the main square/ Centre of Marrakech, and the hotel provided shuttle transportation for 100 dirham for a round trip for the two of us. we felt completely safe in the hotel, but did not enjoy the transportation restraint.

Went in November for some last minute sunshine. Loved the fact it was a small hotel - nothing over two floors and really well kept grounds. Great pool with comfy sun loungers, relaxing music and handy bar for drinks and snacks. The hotel food in the evening was great - can highly recommend the salmon tagine. We had slightly dodgy weather but the hotel has a minibus (inexpensive) that will drop you in town or the nearest Carrefour supermarket to stock up on snacks! Only used the spa once but the massage was lovely and not overpriced. The staff were all very friendly.

The place was very nice and calm with lots of olive trees and jasmine and lots of other trees and plants the food was excellent we booked half board the dinner was very nice but you have to pay for you drinks. The only issue was the small old tv and only had 3 chanels and there was no fridge but they but one in the suite after I request it but over all I highly recommend this place

Wonderful experience at this hotel. It is set a little way from the main area of Medina however that suited our needs as it nice to be able get away from all the hustle and bustle and just relax. Medina is only a ten minute drive away. Staff are friendly but not over bearing, the facilities are very well looked after, clean comfortable, spacious without being over whelming. Overall a lovely place to stay. I went with my partner and have said to the children that we all may need to go on a family holiday.

Beautiful hotel with very friendly staff; from the receptionists to the cleaners everyone was friendly and made us feel welcome. Only thing I'd wish was different is the location, could be closer to medina but not am issue as cheap shuttles are available

Beautiful hotel but lacked a lot of facilities like no kettle or tea in rooms. No food service other than allocated times. Breakfast table was swamped with wasps, they have a really bad issue with wasps. They over charged my room when we used the hotel restaurant. In there advertisement they claimed the room we stayed in had a private pool but on arrival found out it was semi private which really upset me as I'm not confident to wear a swim suit in public. Other than that the staff were great and rooms were beautiful.

Good hotel to go to if you like sunbathing by a pool listening to loud pop music. Outside the gates is a very dirty building ground, you really wouldn't want to go walking there so once you're in the hotel there's nowhere to go without transport. The room was very nice, after asking for an upgrade we were kindly given one for no extra charge, very comfortable bed and clean and comfortable room. The food is good if a bit expensive for Morocco, we didn't try the spa, but the pool is nice but we'd have preferred it to be more peaceful, there was no chance to sit and listen to the many birds what with all the bad pop music playing. The general staff were friendly, but the male members of the management could have been more approachable and welcoming, and the wonderful Morrocan feeling of hospitality that I've experienced in other places was sadly lacking here. I wouldn't stay here again but that's just my personal taste as there wasn't really anything bad about the place.

Good hotel but a terrible shame about the location (like its in the middle of a warzone). Also not the cheapest

Stayed here three nights and enjoyed it a lot. The hotel is very well preserved, spacious and clean. The restaurant offers good food & drink in the evenings, which is decently priced. Very satisfied with my stay here & would strongly recommend it. Wifi isn't great, especially in the rooms but that seems to be a common problem everywhere in Marrakech. The distance to the city is also farther than other hotels but they arrange a cheap shuttle taxi in the daytime + taxis into the city don't cost that much anyway.

Hotel was reasonably priced and had breakfast and free wifi. Wifi was working well. Breakfast was mainly vegetarian with lots of fruits, bread and pastries. Hope they could add some meat items. Rooms were clean and well maintained.

This hotel is nice but I would not recommend to stay here if you are going to go to the centre a lot of our and about. It's about a 10-15 minute drive. It is 100-150 dirhams for taxi to drop you off which is quite pricey. But the hotel has a service they will charge you 50 dirham to go to djmal fna and they will pick you up for 50 dirhams but you would have to call them. Unless you have a sim it is very difficult to make a call as all the phone boxes close by just take a phone card and not money so it means u will need to get a phone card. If you want to just relax then it's nice to stay in the hotel but if you want to feel like your on holiday this is not the hotel to stay in because the hotel is in the middle of nowhere there is literally no shops near by or even any taxis. For me this was not the hotel as we couldn't just nip out whenever we wanted to and it was to far from all the hussle and bustle. And a lot of the taxi drivers arnt willing to take u to your hotel for less then 100 dirhams.

We found the hotel very disappointing. It's saving grace were the staff who were very friendly and helpful. The loungers by the pool were not very comfortable, some were broken. On one of the days my pool towel wasn't clean. They seemed to play the same music over and over again both in the restaurant and by the pool. Breakfast was a buffet where nothing was freshly prepared, and was the same every day. On our first day we asked the waitress if she would make a fresh coffee and she said we had to use the machines. The service in the restaurant was very slow on the days that we dined and the room itself really lacked atmosphere, towards the latter part of the evening the staff were busy setting up breakfast which gave one the feeling of not being able to take one's time. The bathrooms and the interiors of the cupboards and wardrobes smelt of damp, which lingered on our clothes. The plumbing made a terrible noise when used. The safe in our room didn't work and often our dirty glasses weren't cleared. The towels were threadbare and tatty and old as were the dressing gowns

Nice hotel, we found the staff very polite and friendly, however we had problems with language, the Internet was restricted to reception area, and bedrooms sometimes would work, they must have English channels, as currently all they had was CNN, the restaurant food on the menu was limited. They need to improve as there are no restaurants nearby. it's all things management can improve on. But overall I had a pleasant stay, and would stay there again

On arrival I thought the driver had lost his way , as we entered what looked like deserted site which I was taken back by, the hotel the grounds were beautiful we were met at reception and we sat in the lounge we were greeted and allocated our rooms I was hot and flustered after my flight and expected that we would receive a welcome drink we received nothing, on entering my room there was a bottle of water which very warm the room was a fare size to single beds were close together I wanted contact reception and realised there was no phone and no fridge although the hotel was rated a 4 star .. This meant I had to travel to reception which was a at least a five minute walk I found the reception staff could of been more welcoming and the staff never had change when paying for food or beverages the hotel it self is beautiful and clean however I would not recommend the hotel suitable for children or disabled friendly , I felt that the hotel could do with a snack bar for in between meals as you you are not allowed to bring food from outside in to the hotel the food is only served at designated times which meant you could be thirsty or hungry and there is nothing within a close proximity the hotel is very nice but could do with this few ameninites to make ones stay more comfortable and would make sense in an emergency overall I enjoyed my stay . If these few points changed may be I would stay again

Quiet oasis, just outside of town. Found it absolutely relaxing, perfect for unwinding and for a 3-4 day trip. Food was execellent, however, the menu could either be changed more often or have more options.

Had a lovely stay at this hotel. It was quiet as not many guests so no fighting for a bed by the pool...bliss! Breakfast was a bit limited (my tip is to order this to your room every morning, they bring you a big platter and means no contending with the wasps in the dining room) but don't let this put you off....the food (especially dinner) was excellent! If staying more than a week you may find menu a bit limiting but it really was of high quality. Our suite was big and spacious and overall if, like us, you like peace and quiet and not fussed about not having English TV or evening entertainment and just want a nice place to relax, swim, read and spend quality time with family and friends..then I would recommend this hotel.

We were given an upgrade to the Ambassador Suite which included a semi private pool (shared with neighbouring room). We pretty much had the pool to ourselves for the week.
