De kamer had een slechte ligging en een zeer onaangenaam uitzicht. In plaats van een mooi uitzicht keken we uit op een muur, wat erg teleurstellend was. Ook het ontbijt viel tegen: de kwaliteit en smaak waren niet naar verwachting. Daarnaast was de hygiëne onvoldoende. Al met al was onze ervaring teleurstellend en kwam de accommodatie niet overeen met de verwachtingen die door de foto's en beschrijving waren gewekt.

Cons: La lista de cosas que no me gustaron es interminable: la atención recibida por el personaje de la recepción (tipo prepotente, sin ninguna orientación al cliente). Las habitaciones no tienen nada que ver con las fotos que hay en Booking. La piscina..no es una piscina, es una charca en la que más de 3-4 personas estorban. Las vistas una ruina. ¿Alfombras y moqueta en Marrakech con 42⁰?

Ce fut un agréable séjour dans cet établissement. Tres bien situé , il ya une épicerie pour acheter ce dont vous avez besoin en premières nécessités (recharge téléphonie, eau, gâteau shampoing etc… et a moindre coût ! Le petit déjeuner est très varié et le personnel aux petits soins. L’hôtel est très beau avec de jolies ameublements et décoration . À l’accueil vous êtes bien renseigné et une navette est à votre disposition pour vous emmener à l’aéroport pour 130 dirhams ! Dans l’hôtel vous avez un bar, un restaurant et une jolie piscine pas très grande. C’est sur je réserverai à nouveau ! Très satisfaite de cet hôtel 😊

Could be a good hotel if they tried. The Receptionist was great and that is where it ended! The pool water was dirty and you had to walk through the restaurant and it was quite small. The automatic lights had a mind of their own, the hotel was very dark and we had some bumps because of lighting issues. The worst being the breakfast level which did not work at all. The bathtub/shower was very high and caused difficulty getting in and out. Dark bedroom with not enough light available. Fridge was not very cold. There was a wooden frame inside the door that was hard to see in the bad light and we caught it a few times with our heads. The only plug by the bed was hidden and you had to move the bed to be able to use it. A lot of these problems could have been avoided, at least it was cheap.

Great location, very central to most amenities, easily attained by foot however the locals / a division of staff are very unwelcoming and rude which is a total letdown to a vacation when the area relies on the tourist industry which is written in black and white, a fact and not my own perception on same. I say this because I was told by a local frequenting the same establishment that Marrakech does not rely on the tourist industry and that someone coming to their country should have the respect to learn Arabic to communicate. I find this communication very worrying and perhaps would immediately feel a sense of hidden bubbling discontent/ anger towards those helping to contribute to a society as a whole by visiting and trying to embrace other cultures. I can tell you if you examine other reviews connected with my choice of stay in great depth you will find my concern one which is not isolated. My ill treatment commenced without validation initially and then post a challenge on poor service which I have photographic evidence of, it’s very alarming how things/ behaviour of others can turn sour so quickly and how intimidating situations can become. I would not recommend much post my disappointing stay and would perhaps urge others to think twice about where they would like to spend their money, as we embrace climate change as a world as a whole there are much more choices out there if sun and culture is what you’re looking for in a vacation/ holiday.

Location is within walking distance of the medina, about 20 mins . BIM supermarket around the corner furbsupplies and Carre Eden shopping centre within 10 mins walk. The hotel is excellent with clean rooms, nicely decorated. Staff are friendly and helpful. The buffet breakfast was excellent and varied each day. Relaxed atmosphere, I would highly recommend this hotel and is my first choice for Marrakech.

This is our 2nd stay at the le Caspien Boutique. The location is excellent and easily can get to Medina, Mohammed V, Menara garden or mall. It’s all a short taxi ride away. Breakfast is excellent and varied. The staff are friendly and always helpful. The atmosphere is awesome and I always feel relaxed and comfortable when I stay here with family. This will be my 1st choice for hotels in Marrakesh.

El hotel es muy bonito, tiene esencia de Riad, decorado con muy buen gusto y habitaciones muy bien ambientadas. El desayuno no es amplio, es amplísimo, ningún día nos lo terminamos, pero estaba delicioso. La atención, especialmente del servicio de restaurante, espectacular. Hubo un camarero y una camarera que fueron muy atentos con nosotros y nuestra hija, nos llevamos un bonito recuerdo de ellos asi como del hotel.

Cons: Nada no nos gustó. La ubicación está a escasos metros de Av. Mohamed V, zona llena de tiendas y restaurantes, y a 10 min. de la Medina en taxi (si eres buen negociante por 50 dirham te llevan). Asi que la ubicación no fue un impedimento.

The staff are kind and professional except the one who made the check-in that I found rude and a little careless about how important the "quality" of experience is. The other staff members were adorable and the manger was available and caring.

Cons: Noise, especially since there was renovation on the roof that the guy in the check-in didn't mention although I asked him to give me a calm room because I didn't feel well and wanted to wake up late. He gave me the worst choice. Later they changed after I complained and they apologized offering me a free transfer to the airport.

The hotel itself was absolutely spotless, and the rooms were extremely comfortable, making it easy to relax and enjoy our trip. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel so welcome. Every member of staff was friendly, professional, and always happy to help. A special shout out to the manager for running such an excellent hotel, and especially to the lovely waitress who looked after us every morning at breakfast — her kindness and attentiveness really made our stay extra special. The Caspien has 2 restaurants on site however we chose to eat in one of the many alternatives in the neighborhood. Breakfast however was plentiful and very tasty! The staff, without exception were incredibly friendly and proficient in their roles. A great choice for a stop over and not a million miles (20 minutes) to walk to the Medina either.

Cons: We were not advised of the building work going on directly above the junior suite. Had we been staying longer than a night we would have asked for a different room with less noise disturbance.

Avoid this hotel at all costs. We booked and fully paid for 2 rooms, but upon arrival at Le Caspien Hotel, we were told only 1 room was available and the hotel was fully booked. This is not a small mistake — this is a complete failure to honor a confirmed reservation. Instead of resolving the issue properly, the staff (Mr Abdelboset) tried to send us to a separate service apartment, which is clearly NOT what we paid for. It felt like a downgrade and completely unacceptable. We had no choice but to leave and urgently book another hotel at our own expense. The most shocking part: the hotel later claimed that we had “used the room as booked” — which is completely false. We never checked in, never stayed, and no proof has been provided. Until today, the hotel has not responded at all to our complaint. No accountability, no apology, nothing. This experience was extremely misleading and unprofessional. If you value reliability and honesty, do not risk booking here

Cons: Extremely noisy at night and cigarette smoke came in from the hallway into our room, it was really hard to get rid of the smell. The pillows were hard and lumpy. A disappointing breakfast on a tray, would expect a buffet breakfast for the price. The swimming pool is tiny and surrounded by tables, not as described. Very expensive transfers to the airport and other places, would definitely book them online or just get a taxi outside.

We stayed here one night as part of an Intrepid tour and so far it has been the best hotel we have had but hotels are not really what the tour is about. Huge,good breakfast, also probably the best we have had so far. There is a small swimming pool and lounging area but we didn't venture in!. Staff are really lovely and helpful. Restaurant looked lovely but again we didn't get to try it as we ate in the Medina at Mabrouka Rooftop and Sky bar. We are here again at the end of our tour for another 3 nights so hopefully will live ipto expectations.

This hotel is located to new city, with very restaurants close by. The rooms are normal size with clean linen, bedsheets. In general the hotel is clean but needs upgrades in the bathroom as there was rust in some spots. The breakfast is very good, and fresh. The personnel seemed indifferent. Stayed here for four nights in room 203! The bedroom was okay and the bed was very comfy. The bathroom could do with updating but it was all clean. I would recommend asking for a room at the back of the hotel though, as my room was very noisy at night with traffic, people and horns until 2.00 am every night!!!! Not sure whether there may be a night club nearby???!!! Certainly not good if you're a light sleeper! Breakfast was plentiful. Each guest gets a tray consisting of three Danish pastries, a glass of orange juice, a piece of fruit (orange or mandarin), a plate of salad, a pancake, French bread, jams and honey, as well as a hot drink. You can also have an omelette or boiled eggs. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I ate in the Bistro one night, which was good. The hotel is quite a way out from the Medina but there are plenty of taxis around. They will haggle the price but don't pay any more than 50 dirhams (about £4.50).

I don't like croissant so there was too much food for me and it took up a lot of space on the table.. The omelettes were not prepared in the dining area so must be transported from somewhere else in the hotel. The food itself was good. It would seem better if they ran a buffet self selection in the dining area so you can take what you like and leave what you don't. Maybe even have someone cooking the omelettes to order in the dining room might be an feature.. Not a big deal, just my thoughts.

The room was nice, comfortable, spacious, and clean, with a lovely pool view. I really appreciated coming back to a clean room every day after breakfast. The staff were very sweet to my baby, which meant a lot. The receptionist during our last two days was exceptional; professional, friendly, and very easy to talk to.

Cons: The room didn’t have a kettle, which was disappointing. Breakfast was excellent on the first day, but from the second day onward, it was mostly sugary pastries, sweet yoghurt, and eggs. I ended up eating eggs every day. Other tables were served items like veggie salad, which we weren’t offered. I only asked for it on the last day (which I proactively had to), as I didn’t want to make things awkward during our 4-day stay. Unfortunately, the overall attitude during breakfast felt unwelcoming and unprofessional, and at times, we felt treated differently. This made us quite uncomfortable and is unacceptable for a three-star hotel. Another guest we spoke to felt the staff were unprofessional as well. Overall, this really affected our experience and left us wondering how the hotel has so many positive reviews.

Ωραία περιοχή εύκολα προσβάσιμη.Διπλα σε μαγαζιά και εστιατόρια και περίπου 20' περπάτημα για το Jema el Fnaa. Άνετο και καθαρό δωμάτιο με ευχαριστο πρωινό. Επίσης δίπλα ακριβώς υπάρχει ένα ωραίο μπαρ που μπορείς να πιες ένα ποτό και να καπνίσεις.Ευχαριστουμε περάσαμε τέλεια!

An excellent choice for the city of Marrakech in a relatively good area with shops, bars and restaurants nearby, while it is also relatively close to the old city of Medina (20 minutes). Very beautiful and relatively affordable traditional hotel. It has clean rooms that are cleaned properly every morning, a swimming pool for the summer months, a decent breakfast, a restaurant at the back for drinks and food and a beautiful bar downstairs, with very good music and good prices on wine and food!! I highly recommend it!! This is the opinion of three couples from Greece..

Very welcoming. Comfortable room. Relatively easy walking distance to city centre and all main attractions. In a quiet(ish) side street with a number of restaurants nearby as well as an excellent restaurant adjacent to the hotel serving tapas.

Cons: Unfortunately the fumes from the kitchen extractor do tend to pervade the rest of the hotel.

The hotel Caspien is a very nice hotel located a 35 minute walk away from jemaa el fnaa but if you walk straight up from the hotel to the main high street you'll find the petite taxis it cost between 40 and 50 dirham and took 10 minutes. The hotel is in a good location right next to the main high street with all the shops you recognise and 15 minutes taxi ride to the airport the staff were all friendly it's was clean and changed every day there's finishing touches that weren't great but didn't spoil my experience.

El restaurante carísimo en comparación con la calidad de la comida. Pedimos una pizza que estaba muy normalita y una pasta carbonara que no tenía sabor ninguno a carbonara, estaba un poco insípida y creo que se confundieron y sabia solo un poco a… champiñones ??? Y el desayuno estaba rico pero faltaba proteína, no entiendo el sentido de ponerte 4 o 5 pasteles que nadie se come enteros y no poner un poco de pollo o pavo… En fin, el hotel es demasiado caro para lo que ofrecen, nos esperábamos más :(

This hotel is by far the best city hotel I've stayed in,it's so very welcoming as you enter the reception area,the staff are so very polite and courteous. Our room was to say the least large especially for a city hotel,the huge bed was to die for so so comfortable,a great night's sleep to be had. The breakfast are was pristine and very sociable with opportunities to talk with other guests in a friendly manner. The restaurant was so lovely it was like a Michelin style setting for an intimate meal and the menu on offer was on par with high end restaurants. The outside are by the pool was so very accommodating and felt like it was a personal dining experience. Every staff member from the chamber maids to the manager/owner could not have been more courteous and friendly from fluffing pillows to to giving us a better seat . I cannot fault this hotel at all even on the price it was so very inexpensive and worth a lot more for our holiday. At reception when I had a few days to spare they arranged a few trips for us at a very modest price and included taxis and shuttle service for us at no extra cost . The whole hotel is spotlessly clean and you could literally eat you dinner off the floor it was so clean I have absolutely no idea why it's rates as 3 stars it should be at the very least 4 stars . Thank you to all at this hotel for making our stay so enjoyable and memorable. Brian and Doreen

Cons: La connexion internet dans la chambre était mauvaise, ce qui rendait impossible la connexion de la télévision pour regarder autre chose que les chaînes arabes. Personne ne nous a proposer de prendre nos affaires affaires pour les faire sécher plus rapidement. Personne ne s’est « excusé »pour le desagreament … Aucun geste, aucune aides, aucune excuse. L’hôtel propose des excursions organisé environ 3x le prix de ce qu’on a payé en passant sur Getyourguide, ou avec des locaux dans les commerces touristiques !

Location was good although it often required walks or cabs to the old town area. The included breakfast was a little unusual in that it was always 3 croissants, yogurt, and a cheese omelet whether you wanted it or not. The room was great, clean and comfortable. The hotel restaurant was excellent!

Very friendly, informative people at the front desk. Excellent, large breakfast. Good hotel for an overnight stop a short taxi ride from the airport and the train station.

The hotel is good value when everything working. Got locked out of my room for 40 minutes. House Staff are friendly and helpful. Food service is a different matter. As comments from other reviewers mention wait staff are arrogant and inattentive. Food quality is ok to good. Better to eat across the road.

Excellent restaurant food and the room balconies are a bonus. Front desk is very helpful. Rooms are nicely decorated and have air conditioning, closet space, and mini fridge. The murals on each level of this riad style hotel are beautiful. There is a small outdoor pool if desired.

Cons: The breakfast they serve is wasteful; too many items given to each person and we only eat a third of it. Makes more sense to have a checklist of what each person wants and just bring those items on the tray. Rooms are quite small compared to the photo angles online that appear much larger than they are. There were a few sketchy people wandering or just sitting on sidewalks in the neighborhood.

Le personnel était vraiment très accueillant et chaleureux, toujours souriant et disponible L’emplacement de l’hôtel est parfait : tout est à proximité, ce qui rend le séjour très pratique.

Cons: Le petit déjeuner manquait un peu de diversité, avec surtout des produits sucrés (viennoiseries, crêpes, etc..) et peu d’options salées ou protéines

Very nice size room for two people, comfortable and nicely decorated hotel. The breakfasts were very nice and tasty. Though not located in the central Medina area it was a decent walk, and you can find lovely parks along the way. The restaurant downstairs was nice, food was also good.
