La posizione è perfetta per visitare il centro e muoversi anche nelle zone limitrofe di interesse turistico. Si trova a 5 minuti dalla piazza principale. Attenzione alla posizione nascosta del Riad. Per raggiungerlo bisogna entrare in una via pedonale apparentemente chiusa ma che si snoda in piccoli vicoli. La piscina all’ultimo piano è molto bella e le terrazze riservate agli ospiti sono sicuramente la zona migliore di tutta la struttura. Con ogni prenotazione di Booking.com c’è un massaggio a testa incluso di 30 minuti. Chiedetelo in reception se volete usufruirne.

Cons: La colazione è assolutamente da migliorare. Per 3 giorni c’erano sempre le stesse cose e alcune non proprio freschissime (come il formaggio, le brioche e alcuni frutti). Inoltre la zona colazione è piena di api per via delle piante e della piscina centrale. I tavoli spesso non sono apparecchiati e bisogna cercare posate e tazze dove capita per riuscire a fare colazione al tavolo scelto.

AVOID THIS PLACE — The staff were extremely rude and disrespectful. Everything was fine until in the restaurant they refused to charge a small amount to our room. About an hour after we had left the restaurant, they came looking for us at the pool and insisted that we pay the bill immediately. We had to go back to our room to get a credit card because we didn't have one with us at the pool. When we asked why they couldn't charge the bill to our room (something they had done previously), they couldn't give us an answer. Instead, they suddenly claimed not to understand English, laughed at us, and continued demanding immediate payment. The restaurant has surveillance cameras monitoring the pool area, and I saw the live camera feeds displayed on monitors inside the restaurant. That is how the staff knew exactly where to find us. Just moments before this incident, we had been the targets of an attempted robbery in the city, and we thought we were finally safe back at the riad. This experience completely shattered our sense of security.

The location couldn’t have been more perfect. The Riad as a whole was incredibly well decorated and the facilities such as the pools were good. The ability to also organise airport transfer for an additional fee made our stay easy. Staff were all very nice.

Cons: The courtyard area outside our room seemed to be used during the day as the housekeepings office/social space which when we were wanting a bit of quiet time during the day was a bit unfortunate.

Wat ons het meest beviel aan de accommodatie was de combinatie van de rustige, sfeervolle omgeving en de ligging aan de rand van de medina, waardoor je heel gemakkelijk de stad in en uit kunt met taxi of Uber. Daarnaast zorgden de fijne zwembaden en het mooie dakterras echt voor momenten van ontspanning midden in de drukte van Marrakech. Ook het vriendelijke personeel en de extra georganiseerde activiteiten, zoals de live muziekavond en kookworkshop, maakten het verblijf bijzonder en gaven het net dat beetje extra sfeer dat we niet hadden verwacht.

Cons: Wat iets minder beviel aan de accommodatie was dat de kamer niet heel luxe aanvoelde en dat sommige onderdelen, zoals de douche, wat vernieuwing zouden kunnen gebruiken. Daarnaast was het soms wat gehorig, waardoor je af en toe andere gasten in het hotel kon horen.

The property’s interior design is stunning. I only wish we had more time to enjoy the facilities, as staying here was truly a unique experience that immersed us in Moroccan culture.

Cons: The first receptionist came across as a bit condescending, although all the other staff were warm & accommodating. We also weren’t happy that the transfer they arranged picked us up from a parking area farther from the entrance than where Ubers normally stop. The exchange rate offered at the reception was quite unfavorable.

While the hotel was stunning—from the lobby and pool to the dining and lounge areas—with its beautiful, authentic Moroccan design, the room unfortunately needs significant improvement. The tiles felt old and appeared dirty, the toilet bowl was even loose from the floor, and the shower was clogged! Room needs some serious renovation!

Cons: We were very disappointed that the hotel did not provide the room we had booked and paid for—a Prestige Room with a patio. The first room they showed us had an unpleasant smell, no patio, and was significantly smaller than what we had reserved. They then moved us to a second room, which still wasn’t the room category we had booked. In the end, we settled for the third room they offered simply because it was our last night in Marrakech and we wanted to make the most of our time instead of continuing to argue. It was frustrating to feel like we were repeatedly being offered rooms of a lower standard than the one we had paid for, and that was simply unacceptable. We ordered drinks on the rooftop, we asked for a small table to place on the daybed while we enjoyed our drinks, but instead, the bartender handed us the same dirty tray he had used to serve them.

Where can I start? The Riad is stunning with beautiful architecture and exquisite decor. We had the Atlas room, which again was the same. Our room had a relaxing and serene terrace with a water fountain and this was something which brought us calm when we returned from a morning in the souks. Originally we had booked a twin room, but decided to enquire about an upgrade and Cheyma sorted this out very promptly. We were so overwhelmed with the beauty it was quite emotional. Youssef greeted us on arrival, a charming gentleman who was very approachable with his delightful cheery self. Nothing was ever too much trouble for any of the staff, so friendly and helpful and took time to chat. Whatever we required was taken care of, the lovely ladies who serviced our room, the porters, waiters/bar staff and the funny 'Mr Bean' who carried out luggage out to our transfer when we sadly left to return home. What a wonderful place to stay! We enjoyed breakfast every day, which was plentiful and a dinner on our last night which was the best meal we had for the whole of our time in Marrakech. We enjoyed the Chicken Pastilla, Moroccan salads, Beef Tagine which was the tastiest tender beef. No, you were not allowed to bring in food or drink from outside, but this is Licensing law for Riads who serve alcohol. Why would you want to anyway? You have everything you need. There are so many gorgeous areas to sit, little pockets of serenity here and there which truly stole our hearts. Riad Palais Sebban we fell in love with your charm and we will visit again xx

Hôtel magnifique et très luxueux. Le personnel est exceptionnellement gentil et attentionné. Nous avions un vol très tôt le matin et l’hôtel a pu nous réserver un taxi pour 4h30. Le réceptionniste est même venu avec nous jusqu’à la rue pour porter nos valises jusqu’au taxi, ce qui a été très apprécié. Les piscines sont superbes et il n’y avait jamais beaucoup de monde, ce qui permet de bien en profiter. Des serviettes sont disponibles directement aux piscines, ce qui est très pratique. Nous avons également pris un souper sur place avec de la musique, l’ambiance était excellente. Les prix sont très abordables, autant au restaurant que pour les consommations dans le mini-frigo de la chambre. En résumé, un très bel hôtel avec un excellent service et une expérience mémorable.

Cons: Honnêtement, nous n’avons pas grand-chose à reprocher à cet établissement.

La experiencia en el Riad ha sido de 10. Es un lugar de paz y tranquilidad dentro del caos de la Medina. Desde el primer momento los trabajadores nos hicieron sentir como en casa, atentos, cercanos y profesionales. En cuanto al edificio e instalaciones es espectacular cada rincón pero sobretodo el patio principal. También probamos la comida del bar y fue de la mejores en el viaje. Además nos pusieron una habitación mejor a la que habíamos reservado y nos sorprendieron con un detalle por la celebración del cumpleaños. Sin duda volveremos.

Great location right near the main square, markets and restaurants. The most beautiful Riad and place to stay ever. The staff are so accommodating and helpful to anything ! There are multiple pools and roof tops that are clean and well looked after. The Hammam is a relaxing experience in the riad as well as a good menu for breakfast, lunch and dinner. We also stayed on Friday night where there was live music and a dancer. The rooms are clean and luxurious with also a mini fridge.

In general, the riad is amazingly beautiful and very well located. The employees are kind and welcoming, and the breakfast is really good. The overall atmosphere of the property is charming and authentic. I also appreciated the convenience of staying there before and after our desert tour.

Cons: We spent a couple of nights in Deluxe category rooms, and I’m not sure the upgrade is worth it, as Palais Sebban probably does not meet the minimum standards expected for this category. Neither of the rooms I stayed in had a king-size bed, and only one had a sitting area. I regret having paid 1,000 MAD more per night for the upgrade. I am leaving with a bittersweet feeling because I feel misled. Since the dates served at breakfast were amazing, on Friday morning I asked one of the staff members where I could buy them. He said they were Medjool dates and kindly offered to get some for me before I left on Saturday. On Saturday morning, the staff member handed us the dates, and I paid 150 MAD per kilogram, plus a 20 MAD tip for the kitchen staff member who had bought them. It was a big disappointment when we realized we had been sold overpriced, lower-quality dates, as they turned out to be Zaïgora dates instead of Medjool. It was unfortunate to feel taken advantage of by the riad’s staff on our last day.

This Riad is beautifully decorated and the staff are extremely nice. My suite on the first floor was spacious and fully equipped, and the rooftop was super nice with a pool. It was a short trip for me because I decided to go the Sahara desert for a couple of nights, and the host was kind enough to pack my breakfast in the early morning and store my luggage. The taxi was not allowed to enter the alley, which can be difficult if carrying heavy luggage, but the staff helped me with everything. I will definitely stay at the Palais next time I’m in Marrakech and for a longer period of time!

We had dressed lightly, as we had the morning previously when the breakfast was set up inside the hotel in a dining area, which was a very pleasant temperature at 7.15-8am. A message to wear warmer clothing or turn up later would have been considerate. An hour later it was a better outside temperature. It seemed a bit inconsiderate for such a nice hotel.

Cons: Dieses Riad war der letzter Aufenthalt nach unserer Marokko-Rundreise und wir wollten uns etwas gönnen. Da wir zu Beginn der Reise bereits in einem deutlich günstigeren Riad waren und so einen Vergleich hatten, muss ich leider sagen dass das Sebban eine totale Enttäuschung war. Das Riad entspricht leider absolut nicht den Erwartungen, die die Beschreibung und der Preis wecken. Das Gebäude ist zwar schon alt und schön, aber total in die Jahre gekommen. Alleine der Eingang wirkt wie eine unfertige Baustelle und es gibt kein Gespür für Details, wie wir es sonst überall in Marokko, selbst in den einfachsten Unterkünften erlebt haben. Über all hängen Kabel und alte Fernseher von den Wänden. Die Ausstattung is uralt. Die Zimmer die wir gesehen haben sind dunkel und riechen feucht, das Frühstücksbuffet war eines der schlechtesten, dass wir in Marokko hatten. Dazu ist das SPA ein absoluter Witz, klein und dunkel (eines der Gründe warum wir hier gebucht haben), weshalb wir hierfür dann auswärts etwas gebucht haben. Nachdem unser "Deluxe" Zimmer glühend heiß, dunkel und stickig war, wurden uns vom sehr sehr freundlichen Personal ein anderes Zimmer gegeben, was dann ok war. In dem Riad typischen eigentlich schönen Innenhof mit Sitzgelegenheiten, direkt vor der Zimmertür, hielten sich dann aber während unseres Aufenthalts permanent Personal auf die lautstark lachten und quatschten. Die hatten dort eine Art fest installierte Station für Putzutensilien, konnten selbst also offensichtlich selbst nichts dafür. Sie waren zudem wie der Rest des Personals unfassbar freundlich und hilfsbereit und am Personal lag es also absolut nicht, aber es entsprach einfach nichts dem Standard eines ordentlich geführten Hotels. Es wirkte unterm Strich so als ob das Riad überhaupt nicht richtig gemanaged wird. Hier müssen wir leider sagen: Absolut sein Geld nicht wert.

For Brits ours phones don’t work until we have set up expensive roaming or bought a local SIM card which of course is exactly when you need good mapping directions to find the Riad! 2: Our room was very small and the A/C didn’t warm it up. It was also a bit noisy. Booking.com needs to show the other room options more clearly as we probably would’ve upgraded.

We always return to Palais Sebban and call it “my bit of heaven”. It is very relaxing, spacious and beautiful. The courtyard is stunning and there are 2 terrace pools available. The service is amazing especially the staff we’ve known and grown very fond of over the years. The staff are so friendly, courteous and helpful . It is a place of peace and rejuvenation. The entertainment band and dancer nights with a meal are very good. The plants and birds are very happy there. It is quite easy and convenient to Bab Laksour and rest of medina ,good restaurants, taxis and shopping. The breakfasts are so delicious , varied and the best! Thank you so much. 🌹🐦‍⬛🌻🌼🌺

This hotel is a beautiful labyrinth of beautiful rooms, courtyard and terraces. There are 2 rooftop pools and one main pool by the restaurant, so there are plenty of places to relax. Every area has so much character and different designs. It's just so pretty, no matter where you go. Food was excellent, reasonably priced and we enjoyed a magic show with dinner one night. Communication was great at all times and the staff was attentive and nice 🙂 I liked that our room had good blackout curtains, which is important for light sensitive people. There was no noise from outside at all, even though you are right in the main area.

Cons: Everything was great, but we would have wished for at least one of the pools being heated. That would have made it perfect.

Palais Sebban is a beautiful and atmospheric place right in the heart of Marrakesh. The palace decorations are simply stunning, with incredible details, traditional architecture, elegant courtyards (yes, it has multiple!), and a truly authentic Moroccan atmosphere everywhere you look. Words can't make justice to the way you feel there. Imagine the rooftop , spacious and with a perfect view over Marakesh, with the distant Atlas mountains complementing the sunset view! The restaurant was perfect, with delicious meals served in the peaceful inner courtyard beside the elegant pool. We also loved watching the sunsets from the rooftop terrace above the lively Medina. Our apartment was excellent truly a room inside a palace, full of charm and character. 2 adults and our 2 children had the chance to re-live old times luxury in an unexpected and suprising way. The staff went to every possible extent to make us feel welcome and to turn our stay into a memorable experience! A special hello to “Mr. Bean” and thank you for your jokes, kindness, and positivity, and many thanks as well to your wife for the absolutely delicious food. Also to the young men at the reception , always smiling and helpful and the nice room service personnel , all super professional and friendly. Amazing all the way. We stayed here for one night at the beginning of our Marrakech trip to celebrate my partner’s 30th birthday and honestly could not have asked for a more perfect start to the holiday 🇲🇦✨ From the moment we arrived, everything felt peaceful, welcoming and beautifully done. Omar greeted us on arrival and took us through for traditional Moroccan tea which was such a lovely touch after a long day of travelling. There was also live music playing that evening which made the atmosphere feel so magical — sitting relaxing with tea in the most beautiful surroundings was exactly what we needed. The riad itself is stunning. Every corner feels so thoughtfully designed and calm, and the staff made us feel looked after immediately. Our luggage was taken up to our room for us and when we arrived upstairs there was the sweetest birthday setup waiting for my partner — rose petals in a love heart, candles, a handwritten birthday card and a fruit platter. It was honestly such a thoughtful surprise and made the stay feel really special 🤍 The breakfast buffet the next morning was lovely and the staff even sang happy birthday which was so funny and thoughtful 😂 We also used the spa during our stay. My partner had a hammam and massage and I had a massage myself. Both were amazing, especially considering the massage was complimentary with the stay. The lady in the spa gave one of the best massages I’ve had — she was fantastic, although I’m so sorry I didn’t catch her name! Even after checkout, the staff let us leave our luggage safely at reception while we relaxed on the rooftop terrace enjoying drinks and the sunshine on the loungers ☀️ Such a lovely atmosphere. We also had lunch before leaving and shared the lamb chops which were genuinely the best lamb chops I have ever eaten! Overall, we had the most wonderful experience here and would recommend it to anyone visiting Marrakech. Special thanks again to Omar and all the lovely staff for making our stay so memorable!

The hotel itself is stunning, with large rooms and gorgeous rooftop pools and sunbathing areas. We were prepared with a Whatsapp message from the Riad staff asking if we would like to book a table for their Friday evening meals and entertainment. We dined here both Thursday and Friday and both times the food was delicious, service was friendly and the riad was exceptional. The beef tagine was a favourite along with the spiced chocolate cake! On the Friday evening we were welcomed into the dining area with candles and rose petals on the table. There was music and a belly dancer too! The rooms were always clean but I will say that as the shower is in its own 'dome', it can be quite dark in there. Checkout and checkin was easy and you can also book airport transfers easily. We loved our stay and will definitely be back! Great location too.

This riad was much larger than the others we stayed in during our trip. It felt more like a boutique hotel than a traditional intimate riad experience, but because of the size it had three pools and plenty of different areas to relax, which we really enjoyed. The food was lovely and there was entertainment during dinner, which created a great atmosphere in the evenings. It was also nice to have a bar serving alcohol, as this wasn’t something offered at the smaller places we stayed. Worth mentioning as it’s not always easy to find a cold beer in Morocco!

Le Palais Sebban est un lieu fascinant. La première impression dès l'entrée est....je suis à l'Alhambra ! C'est tellement beau ! Et ensuite, chaque pièce a un caractère marocain personnel. La terrasse est très, très belle ! La cour intérieure réservée au restaurant est magnifique ! Et là, il faut parler de l'excellente cuisine ! Je me dois d'ajouter que tout le personnel est très accueillant ! Nous nous y sommes sentis comme à la maison et dans un cadre d'exception. This beautiful riad is tucked away down a quiet alley. You emerge into a Moroccan fantasy of beautiful tile, rugs, lighting and the big smiles from the staff. Our room was the Tattaha room. It had everything we needed and was quiet. It was a bit small but to be expected in most riads. The bed was comfortable. We had a problem with the hot water in the shower the first night but the staff quickly resolved this. The courtyard area is beautiful and there is 3 small pools. I believe one is heated but we didn’t get in. The breakfast is very good. We enjoyed sitting in the courtyard drinking wine and enjoying the scenery. The staff work had to get you anything you ask for. Palais Sebban is convenient walking distance to the market square for shopping and there are many restaurants a short walk around this area. Many cabs are close by too.

Tolles Riad in unfassbar schöner Atmosphäre, sehr nettem Personal und einem sehr giuten Frühstück. Die Mitarbeitenden waren alles sehr nett und zuvorkommend, täglich wurde das gesamte Riad gereiningt und das Frühstück war abwechsulngsreich und sehr lecker. Das Rooftop ist toll eingerichtet, geräumig und bietet Platz zum Entspannen. Das Riad liegt perfekt in zentraler, aber dennoch ruhiger und sicherer Lage.

Cons: Unser Zimmer (IFRANE) war leider sehr dunkel, klein und sehr feucht. Das hat dazu geführt, dass das Zimmer etwas muffig war und die Klamotten und das Bett kalt und feucht geworden sind. Die Dusche im Bad ist rennovierungsbedürftig und hat enige Rückstände von Schimmel. Hier muss dringend erneuert werden. Zudem wurde auf Anfrage die Lüftung repariert und die Fernster tagsüber offen gelassen, was zu Besserung geführt hat. Das Personal war hier zumindest bemüht und hat uns für die letzte Nacht ein neues Zimmer angeboten.

We were in awe of Palais Sebban - the spectacular architecture in every room, the variety of colorful decorated living rooms for guests to use, the beautiful terraces with bougainvillea and plants and lounge chairs, swimming pools, the breakfast spread every morning. We loved our own room with its private balcony and living room terrace. We especially enjoyed the live music at dinner, including the belly dancer. We had a spa treatment and that was very relaxing and refreshing.

The dinner show and breakfast were amazing, the staff were all very kind, the place is beautiful and very well located.

Cons: The check in took some time as we arrived early, but they told us to wait as it would take them only a few minutes to get our room ready and instead it took almost 2 hours. I would rather they would just tell me to come later.

I had an amazing experience at Riad Palais Sebban. The staff went above and beyond to make sure I had the loveliest stay. A special thank you to Achraf and Mohammad for all of their help as a solo female travel the location was excellent, a safe, quite and easily accessible route to the soukes. This place is so special, a little piece of serene and bliss amid the chaos. No detail was left unturned from the restaraunt staff to the cleaning staff, they work tirelessly to e sure perfection.

Lo bonito que es este Riad es indescriptible, en cada rincón no falta detalle. Si vuelvo a Marrakech repetiré sin duda. Personal muy amable y servicial, atentos a todo. Las vistas de la mezquita son ideales mientras ves atardecer desde la azotea.

Cons: El desayuno está bien, pero quizás le falta un poco más de calidad o variedad. Y aunque es un detalle sin importancia, me cambiaron el secador el segundo día por uno más pequeño y con menos potencia sin comunicarme nada, lo normal es que avisen del porqué o que no hagan ese cambio.

The staff and property were exceptional. Everyone was so friendly and helpful, even going so far as carrying our heavy luggage from the main road all the way up to our room (lots of stairs and bumpy streets). They helped us seamlessly set up airport transfers. Our room was STUNNING and the rest of the Riad had so many gorgeous areas to sit and relax and enjoy the artistry that went into the design of the building. The rooftop at night gave us an incredible view of the Koutoubia. A perfect oasis in the middle of the busy city.

Wonderfull staff, location, and ambiance. We were very well taken care of, and we had plenty of assistance arranging extra transport and getting questions answered. Would absolutely recommend!

Cons: There was one night the staff were up late cleaning up after an event and rearranging everything in the main courtyard, and the noise carried. If you're a light sleeper, I'd recommend requesting a room that is away from the main courtyard. Or bring good ear plugs :)

I loved everything about Riad Palais Sebban, the staff were excellent, extremely attentive and patient as well as equally professional. The views were fantastic and the location was perfect for being close to good food spots, the main markets in the medina and of course meeting all the cats of the medina (none in the hotel) The hotel room was beautiful, every part of the hotel was beautiful, you can see how much history is in the walls The food was phenomenal (a bit expensive considering what walking down the road would get you) but so worth it, beef tagine was absolutely amazing and Moroccan tea was SO good

Cons: I was sent a message inviting us to a dinner with music, and I responded yes. I then verbally told the waiter we had met the earlier night to reserve us a table and even showed the table we wanted to him and he agreed. When I showed up to dinner he had given the table to someone else and hadn't reserved any other tables for us. I told him how unhappy I was about this and he just shrugged his shoulders and walked off. Other than this jerk, all the staff were excellent and the hotel was excellent! 10/10

A beautiful Riad with exceptional design and thought. It was easy to find and is well situated with not so much tourist crowds outside the entrance The roof top has lovely small areas enabling a bit of privacy if you want it. The staff was ever so friendly and very professional and helpful The food was very nice and fresh. It was an easy choice to eat at the Riad instead of going outside to try and find a restaurant.

This hotel is an amazing centuries old riad. The location is excellent being close to many cultural sites. The central courtyard is lovely where you can have a delicious meal, sit for a tea or a drink. The bedroom and bathroom were beautiful. It was very quiet, the bed comfortable and the water in the shower hot. The staff was kind and did their best to make our stay enjoyable.

Cons: These are not deal breakers but there wasn't much closet space and the water in the shower was difficult to regulate. They gave us a room that was much larger than we reserved which felt a little too big for just the two of us though we benefitted from having a personal terrace the day it didn't rain.

Het was een ware belevenis om in deze prachtige Riad te verblijven. Ik kon niet stoppen met foto’s maken van de inrichting, de binnentuin, dakterras etc. Ik had de standaard kamer geboekt, maar we kregen de luxe kamer! Het personeel is bijzonder vriendelijk en vooral Achraf was bijzonder behulpzaam en leuk. Het ontbijt was uitgebreid en lekker. Er zijn overal mooie plekken om te zitten, op het dakterras met verschillende zitjes met bloemen en een mooi uitzicht.

Cons: Para llegar a la habitación tocaba pasar por un salón tipo comedor, en ese espacio había un olor que no era tan agradable (como olor a artículos viejos). Nada grave, pero supongo que lo pueden solucionar fácil y mejoraría la experiencia. Tambien podrían mejorar el mantenimiento del baño de la habitación.

Few things in life or travel exceed expectations. The Palais Sebban did that in spades. Enterred via a long narrow winding lane, you finally emerge into a lobby that defies description -- a classic riad of another era. Tiles, marble, carving, wood and esquisite detail everywhere. Comfortable nooks and beautiful courtyards. And the staff, helpful, friendly, accommodating, in every guesture. Our room was like no other we have had in our travels -- adjacent to a "secret" courtyard and those locks! The Palais Sebban is a hotel well worth a second visit and maybe even a third.

One of the most beautiful places we have ever stayed….. it was like a precious gem inside the Medina. Totally unassuming from the outside. And on the inside, it felt like a magical oasis of pure richness. We arrived so early and our check-in was not until 2 o’clock or 3:00 PM. We had to wait hours for our room of course which was totally understandable… But it was 100% OK because they let us keep our luggage by the check-in area and we went up to the rooftop and relaxed on the beautiful Moroccan beds with a beautiful breeze, listening to the birds …they even allowed us to partake in the daily breakfast …… It was just amazing. We didn’t mind waiting for our room at all. In fact they had it ready for us early at 1 o’clock. We only stayed two nights and I was wishing we could stay for an entire week or more…..

Simpatia de todo o pessoal. Sempre dispostos a corresponder aos nossos pedidos. Cama muito confortável, chuveiro e aquecimento a funcionar bem. O nosso quarto tinha um terraço muito agradável com vista para o átrio principal. Adorei! Na minha opinião compensou muito optar por um quarto de categoria superior. O pequeno almoço era muito bom, com várias especialidades típicas de Marrocos. Jantámos uma vez no hotel. Os pratos estavam deliciosos e houve acompanhamento musical ao vivo por um grupo que tocava e cantava música ocidental contemporânea muito agradável e adequada.

Cons: Por azar o tempo esteve frio e encoberto durante grande parte da nossa estadia. Os espaços comuns são quase todos abertos o que usualmente deve ser super agradável, mas não de manhã cedo quando está frio. Algumas escadas de acesso são estreitas e desafiantes, sem problema para nós, mas a ter em conta.

Every single member of staff went above and beyond, whether that was a friendly hello, remembering our drinks order, answering our questions about their wonderful culture, exchanging currency for smaller change, giving us tips and tricks for the local area or making us laugh. The hotel itself is beautiful - located within the Medina meant it was easy to get into the hustle and bustle, but tranquil and peaceful once within the hotel. It really did feel like a luxury Riad, without the luxury price tag. We had lovely weather so managed to enjoy lazing round one of the three gorgeous pools (with a G&T) - one of which is heated.

We spent 3 nights here in a Deluxe room (the Menara). The positives: the common spaces in this riad are comfortable and all photo worthy, and the riad is really well located for exploring the medina. The big negative for us was that the room presented challenges: it was remarkably small, the bathroom smelled of sewage (they proactively lit a large citronella candle in the bathroom to cover the odour, but it was so overpowering it brought tears to my eyes and we had to put it out), it was noisy (a window pane next to the bed was missing meaning you were roughly 1 metre from the hall with no sound barrier) and music played all day in the lobby below and then in the open air restaurant close to the room until ~10:45PM, and the bathroom offered a straight view from the bed to the toilet with a door that was 50% latticed. Between the bathroom door and the effectively open window to the hall and lobby, one would not want to be in this room for a romantic retreat. If we were to return, we would definitely get a higher "class" of room as what was provided failed to meet our expectations.

This is a traditional Morroca Riad hotel with more than 200-year history. It left us a deep impression because it’s our first time to stay in hotel with Riad style . I am interested in the history of the hotel and “Riad”. When I came back to home, I checked “ChatGPT”and Gemini” for detailed information about the hotel and then I wrote an article in China’s famous social media “Rednote” to share my experience. I screenshot my article here. From the train station, we took bus with 5 stops. It is inside of the old city and is easy to find by Google Map. The staff of reception desk gave me a map and explained the detailed information about Marrakesh. We can go any places I planed on foot. Our room seems not big enough but it is OK. We enjoyed our two nights here.

Riad Palais Sebban is a beautiful property tucked away on a quiet backstreet inside the Medina, yet still within easy walking distance of all the main attractions. The riad itself is very attractive and feels like a peaceful escape from the bustle outside. Staff were generally helpful and pleasant during our stay.

Cons: Breakfast offered a good selection, however the dishes that were meant to be hot were only tepid, which we found rather off-putting. We stayed as two couples. Our room was bright and airy, but the other couple were given an internal room with no windows and experienced an unpleasant drain smell. We wondered if this was the reason scented candles had been lit in their room. Unfortunately, what really soured the experience for both couples was being incorrectly charged for items from the minibar that we had not consumed. In addition, housekeeping removed my razor, and when I raised this at reception it was simply shrugged off, which was disappointing and unprofessional.

The resort building was very beautiful, the location was excellent, the staff were polite, and the breakfast was good.

Cons: Unfortunately, the internet in our room did not work. After one person took a shower, the water turned cold, and the second person had to wait for it to heat up again. Also, there was no Do Not Disturb card for the door in the room.

I almost never do bad reviews since I do prefer advising on the good ones. However, in this occassion I did felt massively disappointed. Probably the only thing I liked about the hotel was the location and the pool.

Cons: It would be a long list but trying to resume it: In my opinion, the photos dont match the actual status of the propperty. Unfortunately everything is extremely old and the whole place needs renovations. Another disappointment was, that by check-in, they gave us a room that wasnt meant to be, one that was dark with no windows. After complainning they did gave us a room that matched the photos of what we booked. Still disappointing conditions but at least matching. Its difficult to understand why would they give the customers worst rooms instead of the better ones by check-in. Adding up, we tried to contact them in advance to check the parking and other situations and we never got an answer. In general the service is poor, the hotel poor, the beakfast is poor and for the price, there are so many other better options. We travelled around Morocco for 2 weeks and I can say this hotel was the only one we didnt like.

Hemos estado cuatro amigas pasando unos dias en el Riad y nos ha encantado el sitio, es una maravilla. A sido una estancia maravillosa, resaltariamos la ubicación que es excelente (5 minutos andando del Riad a la plaza Jemaa el fna), el personal muy amable y las piscinas que tiene. El último día que teniamos que dejar el Riad para el mediodia, nos dejaron guardar las maletas en un cuarto hasta salir hacia el aeropuerto. Muy recomendable. Volveriamos a repetir!

Prachtige authentieke riad. Verschil in klasse kamers is groot. basis kamers zijn echt klein en donker. Luxere kamers zijn prachtig en passend bij de accommodatie. Fijne plunge pool op het dakterras. Heerlijke pluk om bij te komen van alle indrukken van de stad. Warm ontvangst, behulpzaam personeel, uitgebreid vers ontbijt, ideale locatie om lopend de stad te verkennen, taxi stopt net iets buiten de Medina van hieruit kan je uitstapjes maken in de omgeving. Uitstapjes via receptie geregeld. Erg goed georganiseerd allemaal. Contact via WhatsApp snelle en duidelijke communicatie.

Cons: De entree was niet duidelijk aangegeven en in aanbouw. De oude bogen naar de patio zijn laag met scherpe punten, mijn man heeft er blijvende littekens aan over gehouden. De geregelde taxiritten vanuit het hotel moesten aan het einde van verblijf cash afgerekend worden, dit kan niet met een creditcard of bankpas. Onze koffers hebben dag van vertrek in de ontvangsthal gestaan. Tassen waren nat geworden van de fontijn.

The location was superb - a 10 minute walk from Jemma-el-fnaa down some back roads which took you away from the bustle of the streets. . The Riad itself, Moroccan style throughout, was charming and if the weather had been warmer it would have been nice to sit out on the terrace or use the swimming pools. The staff were efficient and polite. There was a good choice for breakfast and we had one evening meal which was enjoyable. The courtyard was lovely and would have been nice to eat and relax in but, again, the weather defeated us.

The riad hands down is beautiful! I would reccommend it. It’s lovely at night and in the morning. Mohammed is the best! He settled us in all by himself.

Cons: Expecting the room in the photo & description and not getting it, then getting it at the last 2 days. So the transfer was soo stressful because we have a schedule and they were moving on their schedule. I got sick with the stress! The confusion they created amongst themselves and with me just stressed me out! Youssef tried his best to fix things but the other front office staff just wasn’t very accommodating. All I wanted was what was shown me and so I expect what I paid for. That’s not a favor… that’s my right. Photos mean a lot to a Traveller so there should no confusion. I think fixing website room photos would do you good.

This place was a hidden gem. I was really considering staying at a smaller Riad and I'm so glad I chose Palais Sebban. First, it's stunning! Everywhere you turn the room is filled with gorgeous tiles, carvings, lamps, decor from decades/centuries past. I want to come back in the warmer months when I can enjoy the pools and roof decks/bars. The rooms were comfortable, the breakfast was better than I could have expected. The location is just inside the medina walls, so it's easy to get from transport to the hotel and from the hotel to areas outside the medina. We couldn't have had a better stay.

The interior is spectacular, and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We attended the NYE soirée and the Friday evening music, both of which were fantastic. The courtyard is a beautiful place to have dinner and relax in the evening. A major highlight was the effort they made for our daughter’s birthday — cake, singing, and so many smiles; she’ll never forget it. The location is perfect, within walking distance of the souk and many key sights.

This is a Beautiful Riad very close to the outer wall of the Souk, 5 minutes walk on the outside of the wall will take you to the main square (Jemaa el-Fnaa) and two minuetes walk inside will take you into the hussle and bussle of the madina shopping. Where the Riad is located is a very quiet area so you will not hear a sound from the traffic or the souk. The decor is fantastic, the staff are really friendly, the breakfast is very good with a great choice, food in the restraunt is top class and the benifit of the bar with an open fire was great. Entertainment was provided on two nights at dinner, a traditiona Morroccan Duet with Belly Dancer on the first night and a brillant Magician going from table to table the 2nd night. My recommendation would be, you arrange collection from the airport throught the Riad as it can stressfull ariving out of the airport to TAXI TAXI TAXI and their driver will take you close to the Riad and organise the porter to meet outside to take your baggage and walk you to the Riad as I have seen people say they found it difficult to find. We could not recommend this Riad HIGHLY ENOUGH, thanks to all for a wonderful stay.

Cons: I would be great if a member of staff remained in the breakfast room to help find things and explain about some of the food options.

This hotel located in the Medina a short walk to the souks. When you enter the door, you feel as though you’ve got a respite from all the nearby activity. The hotel is nicely decorated and the food and service are good. There is a full, well stocked bar. We had one of the fourth floor suite rooms ( Berber room) and our room was enormous. There was a private outdoor sitting area attached to the room. There were two marvelous ancient wood carved doors to the room with an antique key for entry. There are nice views of Marrakesh from the rooftop viewing area (5th floor). There is no elevator in the hotel. I would suggest trying to get one of the fourth floor suites, especially if you don’t mind the steps.

The hotel was beautiful and situated in a quiet street away from the hustle and bustle of the very busy souks. The terrace was a relaxing place to sit and watch the sun go down. The staff were very friendly and couldn't do enough to help. Breakfast was delicious and the fire in the bar was very welcoming as the weather had taken a turn for the worst. Thank you for making us feel so welcome.

Cons: The menu in the restaurant, whilst delicious, in my opinion needed to be different for lunch and dinner or changed more often.

With its stunning architecture, it has the bones of a true 5-star destination, but a comprehensive revamp and a higher standard of service are needed to bridge the gap between its potential and the current guest experience. The breakfast quality was good, the service timing needs improvement. Despite 9:00 AM being a peak hour, the hot breakfast was only prepared in small batches in a tagine upon request rather than being ready for arriving guests. This led to a wait of over 30 minutes, which was disappointing as multiple groups were left waiting for food.

Esperienza fantastica. Assolutamente da rifare e consigliata. Abbiamo trascorso 3 notti in questa stupenda struttura, insieme ad una coppia di amici. Riad bellissimo, pulitissimo e molto profumato, situato in ottima posizione per visitare la città: nel centro cittadino, a 5 minuti a piedi dalla piazza principale, ma allo stesso tempo in posizione molto tranquilla e sicura. Personale disponibilissimo e molto cortese. Buona colazione. Abbiamo anche usufruito di 2 pranzi al ristorante del riad e più volte del servizio bar: tutto ottimo e consigliato.

It was our first riad experience in Morocco and we loved it. Location is not the most convenient because taxi won’t go there and it was a little tricky to find it but once inside it was a different world of wonder! Beautifully designed facility with a beautiful rooftop and a wonderful and accommodating staff! Breakfast is buffet style and was good. They offer one complimentary half hour massage but we didn’t have the time to enjoy it. Overall a very good experience!

Cons: El dueño se paseaba dando órdenes y mostrando su descontento constantemente por todo el Riad haciendo la experiencia bastante desagradable ya que se notaba que no estaba contento con nada. La habitación no tenía ventana al exterior, solo al patio interior del Riad. La cama era bastante mala y el baño necesitaba una reforma urgente.

The Riad was beautiful with lots of places to sit and relax on the rooftop and the location was so central for exploring the souks and seeing all the sights of the medina.

From the front desk, to the restaurant and to Ali, the driver who took us to the restaurant and the airport were just all so kind and just so helpful. Our room was so beautiful with a balcony. The facilities were amazing, it has a lot of decorations and the staff is great. The room was comfortable and spacious.

Cons: We had to bend down everytime we wanted to go to the bathroom, my boyfriend hit his head a couple of times. The bathroom sink was clogged, we informed it to the Reception an hour or so after checking in. We went out, came back, and it was never fixed during our brief stay.

The location is perfect. The staff were amazing. The property is traditional and spectacular. The food and drink is reasonable price wise and really nice. The breakfast was tasty with different things each day. The staff were so accommodating and organised the airport transfer and a balloon trip which was amazing.

Cons: The only issue was the noise at night. We had a room above the restaurant and on one night there was a really loud party of people who were rowdy late at night (and we’d been up early for a balloon trip).

Cons: Unfortunately during our two night stay there was some heavy rain and wind which meant our room only had no power. The rest of the place had power. This power outage also broke our phone chargers. I understand this isn’t exactly the hotels fault, but they weren’t the most helpful during the no power, and no complementary drinks etc offered. We ate in the restaurant once, the food itself was pretty delicious however it arrived wrong and not according to the menu description. The breakfast was average.

The riad is beautiful, much nicer than expected. The main communal area is so impressive. The staff were fantastic, so friendly and helpful. The draft pints we had were the best we had in Marrakesh, frozen glasses!

Cons: The beds weren't overly comfortable, but after long days walking we still slept well. The shower power was very weak. There was no option for any brighter lighting in the room / bathroom.

Kein Marrakech ohne Riad. Mitten drin und doch ruhige Lage, super Ausgangspunkt für die Medina und andere Sehenswürdigkeiten. Traditionelles Frühstück und wir empfehlen mindestens ein mal Abend zu Essen. Der Pool auf dem Dach lädt zum Entspannen ein.

Cons: Nichts, es war eine gute Zeitreise und es hat sich gelohnt.

Cons: Disappointing stay – not worth the price We stayed two nights at Riad Palais Sebban during our week in Morocco, staying at four different riads, and this was by far the worst experience. It’s hidden deep in the Medina, and we had to get help from a local just to find it. When we arrived, staff took our passports and asked us to wait for tea, but after 20 minutes no one came, and my husband had to go and ask for our room key himself. Our Prestige Room was up several steep flights of stairs, dark and musty, with a very odd layout. The toilet was right beside the bed, and the open shower and vanity were across the room. The bed was uncomfortable, and when we closed the curtain, the whole rod fell off the wall. Breakfast was poor, with cold eggs and crepes, so we only had coffee and fruit. For the price, we expected much better service and comfort. Not sure why this riad is rated so highly — in our opinion, it felt more like a 1-star stay.

Cons: Bathroom had no ventilation. Door was narrow and low in height which made it very difficult to get in and out of the bathroom. Bed was extremely uncomfortable. Linens were not very clean. Breakfast was ok. Room comfort was missing which is the key. Room was also very dark.

Cons: Reservamos el hotel porque incluia masaje en la reserva. Este fue confirmado dias antes de llegar por el personal del hotel. Pero una vez llegamos, nos dijeron que la sala de masajes no estaba abierta y no podian cumplir este servicio. Tras hablar con el personal y pedir una alternativa, este fue muy cortante y desagradable con nosotros y no nos dieron ningunq solucion, solo malas formas y reproches. Muy poco profesional y poco agradables.

Wunderschönes Palais mit traumhaftem Innenbereich inkl. Swimmingpool. Ausgezeichnetes Frühstück und Abendessen. Freitags gibt es ein stimmungsvolles Abendprogramm mit Musik. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Cons: Unser Zimmer war relativ klein und etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Auch das Badezimmer würde eine Renovierung benötigen.

Is a palace in the middle of the chaos. Much more architecture and details than the Mosque. And dinner or breakfast there is a whole experience.

Cons: THERE IS NOT PARKING!!! The accommodation says it has but it doesn’t. THEY DO NOT ANSWER MAILS OR TEXT BY BOOKING. And they dont give a shit if there is people about to stolen you in the main door even if you go to ask for help, that was annoying. My husband had two guys asking him for money and i ran to the reception to ask for help and just don’t gave a shit, they ignored me. I was so angry

It is a really beautiful property with amazing over-the-top Moroccan decor, and multiple terraces with direct views of the Koutoubia tower. The staff was all very kind and helpful - especially Hamza 1 and Hamza 2 at the restaurant and the manager of the front desk who was kind enough to upgrade our room.

Cons: The common areas are beautiful and well kept, but the Deluxe queen room felt way too basic for $220 per night - in serious need of maintenance and the queen size bed was not actual US queen size. The bathroom was small and dingy, felt stained and just needed a complete facelift. On the second night they kindly upgraded us to a larger room/suite with a king size bed and beautiful authentic decor. Even in this suite the bathroom was very basic, dark and just didn’t feel clean. Some mold growing in spots too. Overall the quality of the rooms do not match the price level at all or the type of property.

This is a fantastic Riad very conveniently located. The property has 3 pools (small in size but very beautiful), lots of different lounge areas. Great restaurant with fantastic food! Great selection of alcohol. Breakfast is absolutely the best we had in all of Morocco! The staff is super friendly, helpful and very nice. The bed, bedding, towels were fantastic! The only problem is the room we got. There are probably better rooms available but the one we had was small, AC was loud (it was a very old model), shower head was not spraying the water well and it was not possible to keep it in a good position for a proper shower. The door to the bathroom has a very nice design but it is a see through door which makes all the noises and smells go through. Otherwise it is absolutely the best Riad we stayed at in Morocco!

The room was very lovely, lovely atmosphere in Riad and beautiful decor . Convenient as near Bab Laksor gate and taxis . Staff are amazing , work so hard and very friendly and helpful . Breakfasts are good for vegetarian although last day they put meat and fish is some vegetable dishes which was a shame. Orange juice is special. Very relaxing and not hassled. Music nice and terrace pools. Thank you

Cons: 酒店餐廳經理是騙子，在酒店享用晚餐，付費刷卡時明明已看到員工按正確的金額才準備拍卡，但是原來她沒有即時確認金額，而是偷偷在數目後多加金額，百位數變成千位數，想趁機騙錢。幸運是我信用卡設了限額，沒有成功交易到，才沒有讓她騙取，經理還裝作無事。我朋友一直看着她，才重新按回正確的費用，然而剛好這次刷卡機的紙用完，沒有印出完整的單據。我不敢想要是信用卡沒設限額會是多差勁的體驗。總之，不推薦這間酒店餐廳，不誠實的員工和差的服務，食物貴也不好吃。同樣價錢可以有更好的選擇！

Merci infiniment à Moha pour son accueil chaleureux. Ses recommandations et sa gentillesse. Il nous a recommandé les endroits à visiter, mais ce qu il fallait éviter également. Le séjour etait parfait, le Riad est très bien situé, à environ 12 min des souk, 20 min à pied du jardin majorelle. Le lieu est beau, les chambres ont beaucoup de charme. Nous avons même dîné à l hôtel un soir et effectué un soin au Spa. Très belle expérience, je recommande vivement cette adresse pour vos séjours à Marrakech. Amicalement Anaïs et Damien

Un superbe séjour en amoureux. Le personnel est au petit soin très sympathique et souriant. Le riad est atypique et au calme. Il est doté de 3 piscines dans un cadre idyllique au cœur de la médina. Nous avons logé dans la suite Berbère qui est tout simplement immense avec une décoration tout aussi typique du riad. Nous avons également très bien dîné au sein du riad et nous avons adoré profiter du petit rituel de déguster un bon thé à la menthe. Le prix est certe élevé en revanche pour la destination sinon rien à dire.

Gorgeous Riad in the heart of the Medina. Very close walk to most attractions and great restaurants. The Riad is beautiful with many courtyards, two pools, a large rooftop and helpful staff, especially at the front desk and with transportations. We loved our spacious room overlooking the courtyard and a large bathroom. We found our stay to be quiet and peaceful. The air conditioning and WiFi worked well. We also took advantage of the laundry services and airport transportation. We were so grateful for our stay here.

Cons: The bathroom lacked a proper door. The door is completely carved out and see through. It is a pointless door, I like privacy in the bathroom like most people. We also struggled with how hard and uncomfortable the bed and pillows were. We woke with our backs hurting. The breakfast is supposed to start at 7:30am but it really doesn’t start until 8am. We found it very disorganized and there so much staff but felt things were never ready. Even when we went down at 9am instead they didn’t have any cups, plates or silverware and we had to ask for each thing.

Le cadre, la décoration raffinée avec des matériaux nobles et des détails d'une grande beauté qui rendent l'ensemble hypnotisant. La multitude de patios et globalement l'architecture du riad dans lequel on aime se promener. L'ambiance lors des diners avec les multiples lumières. Le personnel plutot accueillant et attentionné dans l'ensemble.

Cons: La finition des deux piscines en rooftop vraiment pas a la hauteur du reste.
