Superb Stop to visit Marrakech. As a regular for so many years, the hotel being through some renovation, very nice touches. Nice to see some familiar staff, still doing their best to accommodate. Special thanks to Ouissame...i beleive the young lady in the reception, very professional...keep it up. Heading back on the 2nd Feb....can wait... All the best to Mogador team....keep it up.

Cons: Den var standard, deres roomservice tog ikke tlf i 30min så jeg blev nødt til at ringe til receptionen som så stilte mig om til restauranten. Hvor de 2 gange kom forkert med hvad jeg bestilte. Udover det smagte deres bøf dårligt. Samtidig koster det penge at bruge sauna og poolen på hotellet og i træningscenteret manglede alt.

L’hôtel est vraiment à proximité de tout. On a pu faire énormément de choses à pied. Les lits étaient confortables. La nourriture au restaurant près de la piscine était bonne. Enfin, la femme de chambre était très gentille et aux petits soins.
Cons: Dès notre arrivée nous avons trouvé des insectes dans nos lits. Nous avons averti le réceptionniste qui nous a attribué une autre chambre mais dont une lampe ne fonctionnait pas et un cheveu se trouvait sur mon lit. On nous a promis une compensation que nous n’avons jamais reçu.. L’établissement est globalement vieillot et mériterait des rénovations, tant au niveau des chambres que dans les parties communes. Le petit déjeuner était correct mais le personnel présent sur place s’est montré peu aimable, notamment le personnel féminin qui était désagréable et nous dévisageait constamment mon amie et moi. Le wifi fonctionnait très mal, la piscine était froide, et l’insonorisation des chambres est quasi inexistante. L’éclairage dans la chambre était également insuffisant. Mais le pire a été mon expérience au spa. Lors de ma pédicure, l’esthéticienne a été extrêmement brusque, au point de me faire saigner des pieds. Elle m’a même dit que je faisais « lfchouch » (des caprices), ce qui m’a profondément dérangée. Je me demande sincèrement si ce commentaire aurait été fait si je n’étais pas marocaine.. À ma sortie, je l’ai entendue parler de moi à ses collègues sur un ton moqueur. Un comportement inacceptable et totalement non professionnel. Ce soin, censé être un moment de détente, a été tout sauf agréable. En résumé, nous avons été très déçus : cet établissement ne mérite clairement pas ses 5 étoiles! Ayant séjourné l’an dernier dans un autre hôtel 5 étoiles du même quartier, je sais parfaitement à quoi m’attendre pour ce niveau de standing et malheureusement, celui-ci en est très loin..

I have stayed here multiple times. The staff is always so happy to help. Ouissal welcomed us by remembering us and making sure our stay was upgraded to our needs. Everything is close for walking, safe, parking, beautiful breakfast, exchange 💱 next door.

Beautiful Ouissal at the front desk helped us check in my mother in law who has never stayed at a hotel. We wanted her to have a grand experience. She was very happy. My mother in law is a traditional Moroccan and it was important to us that she felt safe and welcomed. They welcomed 🤗 her with traditional greetings like the Queen Mom should receive ❤️ Beautiful Room too!!

We had been traveling from Paris, to Barcelona and landed in Marrakech. We were greeted by Ouissal at the front desk and said you are welcome 🤗 We have stayed here before. Spacious rooms and I would recommend the upgrade and pool views. Breakfast is very nice, parking, easy walking to other restaurants, shops and the exchange 💱 is next door. Beautiful people ❤️

Cons: J’ai quitté cet hôtel de manière anticipée alors que j'avais réservé 6 nuits car je ne m’y sentais absolument plus en sécurité étant une femme et voyageant seule. Durant mon séjour, j’ai personnellement surpris un employé de l’établissement dans ma chambre, en train de fouiller dans mes effets personnels, à l’intérieur de mon sac (ce dernier n'avait pas remarqué ma présence dans la chambre). Je l’ai vu moi-même, directement, et sans ambiguïté. Cet événement a provoqué une rupture immédiate de confiance et un fort sentiment d’insécurité. Suite à cela, j’ai informé la réception et demandé à quitter l’hôtel. La réaction du personnel a été profondément décevante et non professionnelle : au lieu de traiter la situation avec sérieux et empathie, j’ai eu le sentiment que plusieurs membres du personnel se sont ligués contre moi, minimisant les faits me disant que si je qualifiais un employé de voleur c'est comme si je les qualifiais tous de voleurs et me laissant seule face à la situation. J'ai voyagé dans de nombreux hôtel de qualité prémium et je n'ai jamais eu à faire face à ce manque de professionnalisme. Au-delà du confort, la sécurité, le respect de l’intimité et le professionnalisme du personnel sont des éléments fondamentaux dans un hôtel. Malheureusement, ces conditions n’étaient plus réunies. J'ai finalement après avoir bataillé et perdu 3 jours de mon séjour réussi à obtenir le remboursement de quelques nuits alors que je n'ai séjourné aucune nuit dans l'hôtel. J'ai trouvé inadmissible que la totalité ne me soit pas remboursée. Je partage cet avis afin d’alerter les futurs voyageurs, en particulier les personnes voyageant seules, à faire preuve de la plus grande vigilance. Pour ma part, cette expérience a été très anxiogène et je ne recommanderais absolument pas cet établissement.

Great entrance, beautiful, wonderful pool. We stayed there in two oportunities, the second time for 2 nights in the 5th floor, beautiful and very clean room. The first for 1 night in the 3rd floor not so good, the room and hall need better cleaning and renovation. Expensive.

The size of the room was lovely. Having a separate toilet was very useful. There was ample space to put away our things. Really happy with having slippers to use. The towels. Cleaned to a high standard.
Cons: A shower would have been better than a bath. Theres a picture that’s facing the qibla. Move it to opposite water. We liked the space for salah but couldn’t use it because there was a picture there. Provide a praying mat as only I took one. My husband forgot to take his. Milk for coffee. Should be an option. The balcony was full of water from the rain. There should be a drain so it can clear quickly.

Cons: L'isolation dans la chambre, les saletés dans le couloir, une dame à l'accueil qui dit oui à toutes nos demandes et ne fait rien, j'ai été bloqué dans les toilettes de la chambre, la chambre n'était pas prête pour nous 3 , on devait tous le temps demandé la troisième serviette. La même personne nous a dit que nous aurons un petit déjeuner avant de partir à l'aéroport et le serveur nous a dit le matin qu'elle nous a menti pour se débarrasser de nous.

Such a positive and relaxing atmosphere at this hotel and the warm and welcoming staff members was beyond my imagination!!! An awesome Moroccan scent in the lobby the second I stepped in, followed by warm greetings from the bellhops who ushered me to the front desk gentleman Mr. Zakaria, who made my check-in very smooth. The room was neat, simple yet tastefully decorated, the room service lady Mrs. Hasna is of a generous kindness that I havent seen before. The Hammam experience is must do in this hotel, modern facility, very clean and the staff is very welcoming and experienced. Last but not least, the buffet area, run and managed by Mr. EL Alami, a gentleman with an extreme kindness, all smile and energetic. His staff members are tuned to his energy and the way they welcomed me every morning and every time my mom and I had lunch or dinner over there made us feel home. It’s a such tailored and customized customer service. They would call my mom and I by our names and even though its a buffet, they would come check on us if we needed anything else. They would ask my mom what she wanted and go bring it to her so she does not bother walking around when it was busy (which basically was every day) Overall, if you’re looking for a home away from home to stay in, this is the place. Both Family and single people oriented, centrally located (15mn walk on the beautiful Mohamed 6 avenue to Gueliz neighborhood and about 8-10mn cab ride to Jamaa el fna) It has all the necessary amenities and personally what struck me the most was the consistency in terms of the customer service. The kindness and the hospitality spirit of the staff members of this hotel is hard to beat!!! I was blown away!

Cons: Pour le moment, il y a un immeuble en construction juste derrière la piscine. Il y a un bruit de grue, d'outils et cris d'ouvriers constant! Ils commencent à travailler vers 8h et s'arrêtent vers 19h. Quand vous êtes à la piscine la poussière vous tombe dessus! De quoi gâcher vos vacances. L'hôtel bien que confortable nécessite tout de même un coup de neuf. J'ai bien essayé d'en avertir booking malheureusement c'est une IA qui vous répond ou plutôt ne vous répond pas.

Not that anything will disturb your vacation but 'You know what I mean'- Few details of my room is captured below, which I am sure should not be seen as a yard-stick to judge the overall hotel. As I said, I loved the overall experience and hospitality. - The room service did make my bed every day but not sure of the floor was cleaned everyday. One day I left my slipper near my bed and had to walk out of the shower barefoot. To my surprise, by the time, I reached the bed from the shower my foot-sole was all dirty. This was a huge turn off as I had to again enter the shower. - Shower curtain was missing which kind of ensure that the bathroom floor was all splashy and wet after a shower - The bed lights needs attention as the fixture was weak. - The sofa set kept in the floor lobby (I was on second floor) needs attention, love and care as its worn out - There's lot of dust behind the bed side tables which I came across while searching for the pen which I dropped accidently

Cons: Les travaux sur notre étage pendant tout le séjour de 5 nuits non bruyants mais avec un mauvais visuel dans le couloir. La climatisation n avait pas l air de fonctionner. La piscine intérieure très impersonnelle manque de vie (décor, plantes..) Le personnel aimable sans excès. À la réception tous n ont pas le même degré d information (gestion serviette de plage) Niveau situation pas idéal à moins d aimer marcher. Pas grand chose d intéressant pour nous tout près à pied : le centre M n avait pour nous aucun intérêt et le centre commercial à proximité non plus. Pas de proximité avec la vie quotidienne locale avec ses pâtisseries cafés et restaurants locaux.

The breakfast buffet had such a great selection of food including Moroccan foods. The pool and sun loungers were aplenty and the main sitting room besides the reception is spacious and comfortable. The location is very central and also close to the airport. 35 minutes walk to the main square. The lobby and shared facilities are definitely nicer than the actual rooms.
Cons: The rooms are dilapidated, the shower head was spilling and not flowing properly, the bathrooms are worn down and don't look fully clean because they're old. Rooms are very very basic. There are no bins in the rooms or glasses. There is no sound insulation so you can hear the traffic from the busy road. There is building work going on all around the hotel so you heard this noise even whilst sitting out by the pool which is a shame. Not worth the money.

„Grand Mogador Menara & Spa ist einfach fantastisch! Zakaria und Botaner und das gesamte Team machen den Aufenthalt unvergesslich – hilfsbereit, zuvorkommend, aber stets diszipliniert. Sie wissen genau, wer Gast und wer Mitarbeiter ist, und kombinieren Herzlichkeit mit Professionalität perfekt. Solche Servicekräfte bräuchte man auch in Europa. Ich bin selbst in der Gastronomie groß geworden und habe in den größten Sternehotels Deutschlands gearbeitet, ich weiß also genau, worauf es ankommt. Ich habe zum Vergleich auch andere Hotels in der Nähe besucht – sehr überteuert, schön eingerichtet, aber nichts Besonderes und man fühlt sich dort nicht wirklich wohl. Hier im Minara dagegen fühlt man sich sofort willkommen – mehr Geld bedeutet nicht automatisch mehr Aufmerksamkeit oder Wohlbefinden. Die Zimmer sind hell, groß, wunderschön eingerichtet mit sehr bequemen Betten und werden jeden Tag perfekt gereinigt. Frühstück, Mittag- und Abendessen bieten eine riesige Vielfalt und Qualität, sodass man sich kaum entscheiden kann, was man essen möchte. Der Poolbereich ist großzügig, sauber und lädt perfekt zum Entspannen ein. Der Spa-Bereich bietet alles, was das Herz begehrt: Friseur, Nägelstudio, Massagen – alles direkt im Haus. Wer echten Service mit Herz erleben will, fühlt sich hier wie zu Hause – ich komme jederzeit wieder

Positiv hervorzuheben ist das Fitnessstudio, das ausreichend ausgestattet ist und direkt nebenan über einen grossen Raum für Yoga, Ballett oder ähnliche Aktivitäten verfügt. Auch der Poolbereich macht einen sauberen und gepflegten Eindruck und ist angenehm gross. Allerdings war das Wasser im November deutlich zu kalt, sodass man den Pool kaum nutzen konnte. Praktisch ist die Poolbar, an der man Getränke und Speisen bestellen kann – jedoch muss alles direkt bezahlt werden, was etwas umständlich ist. Das Frühstück wird als Buffet angeboten und bietet eine gute Auswahl. Ausserdem ist die Lage des Hotels wirklich vorteilhaft, da sich in der Nähe zahlreiche Restaurants und mehrere Shopping Malls befinden. Auch das Zentrum ist zu Fuss gut erreichbar, jedoch muss man mit ca. 34 Minuten rechnen.
Cons: Bereits beim Check-in wurden wir gefragt, ob wir als Paar die Betten zusammengestellt haben möchten – obwohl wir dies bei der Buchung bereits angegeben hatten. Dies führte dazu, dass zwei Mitarbeiter irgendwann an diesem Tag in unser Zimmer kommen mussten, um die Einzelbetten zusammenzustellen und mit einer Untermatratze zu befestigen. Beim Frühstück fiel uns auf, dass Mitarbeitende teilweise verspätet oder gar nicht reagierten, etwa wenn Teekannen leer waren, wodurch sich leere Tassen ansammelten oder wenn man sie um Orangensaft bat, aber dieser nie kam. Die Mitarbeiter wirkten insgesamt nicht sehr zuvorkommend oder gewillt zu helfen. In den Zimmergängen herrscht ein unangenehmer Geruch. Am Pool müssen pro Handtuch 200 MAD Depot hinterlegt werden, anstatt einfach die Zimmernummer zu notieren. Hatten wir ao auch noch nie erlebt. Ähnlich umständlich ist es an der Poolbar, wo Speisen und Getränke direkt bezahlt werden müssen. Zudem war der Boden des Zimmers immens dreckig, dass wir gezwungen waren mit Schlarpen herumzulaufen, damit unsere Socken nicht gleich aussahen wie auf dem Foto. Rund um das Hotel gibt es nach wie vor starken Baustellenlärm. Insgesamt wirkt die Anlage sehr in die Jahre gekommen: Dies zeigt sich an der Bausubstanz, den Möbeln, den Wänden, den Teppichböden in den Gängen, den Liften sowie Räumen. Im Badezimmer war zudem Schimmel sichtbar, der lediglich mit Silikon überdeckt wurde. Weitere Punkte, die den Aufenthalt beeinträchtigten: Geldwechsel an der Rezeption war kaum möglich, das Telefon zur Rezeption wurde nicht abgenommen, und unser gebuchtes Hammam (400 MAD p.P.) startete 20 Minuten zu spät und endete nach 40 Minuten. Zwar zeigte das Team sich einsichtig und bot uns noch rund 10 Minuten Sauna an, dennoch blieb die Erfahrung insgesamt enttäuschend.

Het personeel was super vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Gingen ook super om met mijn 3-jarig zoontje. Ontbijt buffet is groots opgezet, maar een beetje matig qua kwaliteit. Vooral de koffie was slecht. Zwembad buiten niet gebruikt; binnenbad was heel goed.
Cons: Het ontbijt kan kwalitatief beter (vooral voor de 20 eur pp die berekend wordt). Onderhoud en afwerking van kamer en gangen kan beter (overal krasjes en deukjes, vlekjes en plekken die een lik verf nodig hebben)

Cons: Zwei Mal nach den Zimmer Dienst wurden die Frotteetücher nicht ins Zimmer gelegt. Wir mussten diese immer mühselig organisieren. Das Telefon funktionierte ebenfalls nicht und in der Toilette lief ständig das Wasser. Der Korridor war sehr schmutzig und wurde nie gereinigt. Zimmer etwas in die Jahre gekommen

The hotel wasn't like 5 star European hotel but we got good value for the price we paid. We got free upgrade of the room which was a very nice surprise. The bed was very comfortable, firm mattress. Staff were nice, Salah - one of the waiters was always helpful and kind. Swimming pool area was clean and good, there is a construction side next to the hotel atm so it was bit noisy and got dusty on few occasions. Also loud in the rooms overlooking the main street but Marrakech is loud in general and you need to be prepared fot this if you decide to stay strictly in the city centre. The food was good. Overall our stay was pleasent and we would recommend this hotel.
Cons: The iron and the ironing board that we asked for were in terrible condition, the hotel should replace them immediately! When you call room service they say no problem someone will bring this to your room shortly but unfortunately they never show up, this happened 3 times so we didn't bother calling them again😂

Cons: Attention aux travaux qui ont lieu toute la journée et qui envoie de la poussière partout quand vous êtes dans la piscine. Le bruit est infernal ! Apparemment ce sont des travaux culture depuis longtemps et qui vont encore durer assez longtemps. Je trouve que les parties communes comme les couloirs pour accéder aux chambres ne sont pas très propres.La moquette est d’époque et parfois sale.

Le 2 ragazze della reception molto cordiali e poi il classico benvenuto marocchino, la posizione nel quartiere degli affari, la struttura al primo impatto è bella. A tutte le ore ci sono taxi che aspettano gli ospiti.
Cons: Struttura molto trascurata, per essere un 4 stelle ci sono molte carenze. La struttura e molto grande ma è spoglia. Igiene delle camere va bene. Ma i corridoi veramente indecenti, per tutta la notte fuori da una stanza ci sono rimasti i piatti sporchi di un room service oltre ad altra sporcizia varia.

Si vous êtes à la recherche d’un bon Rapport qualité/Prix vous êtes à la bonne adresse. Tout le confort nécessaire dans la chambre, personnel bienveillant et agréable, buffet du matin varié et satisfaisant, service de chambre au top. Pour le prix de la nuitée je ne m’attendait pas à voir cette qualité. J’ai voyagé pour le travail, la chambre donnait sur la rue mais j’ai très bien dormis aucun bruit perçus. J’ai passé un très bon séjour dans cet hôtel que je recommande.

We booked a Deluxe room and the room was very spacious, clean and had a good Balcony with a view of swimming pool. The bathroom was also very spacious, clean and modern. We had a Morrocon Hammam service from their Spa and it was amazing. Breakfast had plenty of options and we had a good lunch at an affordable price too.

Le lieu en lui même est magnifique, agréable, spacieux et confortable. La piscine bien que fraîche étant donné la température extérieur est très agréable, tout comme les services spa supplémentaire.
Cons: Bien que l'emplacement soit très facile d'accès les nombreux travaux aux alentours gâchent le charme de l'hôtel....et le calme est restreint à cause du bruit de ces derniers, c'est dommage. De plus le seul bémol pour nous aura été la restauration proposé sur place.

Cons: - La piscine était glacée, elle a toujours été vide, aucune personne de l’hôtel ne peut s y baigner, alors qu’elle est annoncée comme chauffée. - les travaux juste à côté, beaucoup de bruit et de poussière. Impossible de se reposer dehors ni profiter de la terrasse de la chambre. Même manger dehors n’était pas agréable. - pour un 4 étoiles et le prix payé les locaux devrait être impeccable et ce n’est pas le cas, le sol n’est pas lavé entre le buffet du midi et le soir, quand la chambre est refaite et ça pas tous les jours pas de recharge pour le thé ni le café et on doit réclamer l eau et les serviettes, problème avec la Clim de la chambre et le frigo se coupe dès qu’on sort de la chambre donc on n’a perdu tous les aliments pour ma fille qu’on y avait mis.

Plus de 2 heures d attente!!! L hotel m a "gentiment " proposé que nous allons tous dans la meme chambre en attendant. ... a 16h15 donc, l hotel nous a fait savoir qu il y avait une fuite dans la chambre et nous a enfin propose une autre....chambres a la propreté plus que douteuse. !!!! Cons: It’s dated. Needs overhaul. Bathrooms were in a terrible state with bathtub paint coming off, carpets in the corridor extremely dirty. Silicon around edges full of mould. Various doors, walls had holes or were broken.

Lovely reception area. Large swimming pool with plenty of space for relaxation. Very helpful staff. Good breakfast, and it was very nice to sit by the pool to enjoy it.
Cons: Our room was reasonably spacious but lacked character. Apart from the delightful foyer the hotel could do with a lick of paint, particularly the corridors.

Very friendly helpful staff. Clean and comfortable, spacious room. Some things like the coffee machines in the restaurant all stopped working and it did take a while to fix. Also hotels either side are currently being totally rebuilt so building sites and subsequent noise resulting especially whilst sitting around the pool plus a lot of dust. Generally felt this was an above average hotel and would recommend 👍

Das Buffet am Abend und am Morgen war jeweils sehr gut.
Cons: Das Personal im Restaurant war teilweise sehr unfreundlich. Man hatte das Gefühl, nicht erwünscht zu sein. Die Klimaanlage wurde unkontrollierbar laut und leise . Das Wasser in der Badewanne ist nicht abgeflossen.Die Flure und Böden wirkten sehr abgewohnt.

We decided to spend three nights in Marrakech during our recent trip to Malaga. It’s a short and inexpensive flight, and we found great value in the hotel options available. This particular hotel is rated five stars, and while it may have once deserved that status, the rooms now feel somewhat dated. The bathroom fixtures, in particular, are showing their age and in need of some maintenance. A four-star rating would probably be more accurate. That said, the hotel was very clean, and the common areas featured charming, traditional Moroccan décor that added real character. Breakfast was served buffet-style with plenty of variety to suit all tastes. Guests could dine indoors or outside by the pool, which was a lovely touch. The pool area itself was well maintained and never felt crowded. There’s also an indoor pool and spa area in the basement offering various treatments, though we didn’t make use of these facilities. There was some construction noise from a neighbouring site during the day, but it didn’t significantly impact our stay. Overall it was an enjoyable experience.

Hôtel bien situé, propre. Le petit déjeuné est très varié et très bon ! Pour un 5* il serai judicieux de mettre du jus d’orange pressé.. Le thé est vraiment à revoir !!!! Piscine propre et agréable, nombreux transats, grande chambre, femme de chambre.
Cons: Le personnel de la réception est sympathique mais un peu lent ! Aucune informations données en arrivant sur l’hôtel, ni même prévenir qu’il faut une caution et des tickets pour obtenir des serviettes de piscine. Nous montons tout seul en chambre. Le snack est bon mais l’attente est INTERMINABLE 1h d’attente pour un hamburger et des brochettes d’escalope suite à soi-disant malentendus entre les serveurs qui n’arrêtaient pas de se renvoyer la balle et menteurs bref infernal ! J’ai du négocié une bouteille d’eau gratuite pour l’attente .. Mon mari s’est levé 1 fois en attendant son plat prendre du pain un morceau de poulet et de la sauce au buffet du restaurant et un des serveurs s’est empressé d’aller le répéter au chef ! Messieurs revoyez vos priorités vraiment …

La struttura è davvero molto bella. Avevamo le camere deluxe, davvero molto belle, bagno moderno. Buona pulizia e ottima colazione internazionale. Posizione vicina alla Medina, con il taxi (costa davvero molto poco) in 5 minuti si arriva a piazza Jemaa el fna.

La piscine a débordement le petit déjeuner, le Personnel, Rachida, Fatima, Ghislaine la petite jeune à l’accueil les portiers, le groom. Et bien sûr, Monsieur Alami du Restaurant et le préparateur de sfeunjs les beignets à ne pas manquer.

This hotel was so poor in many regards. Its location was its only saving grace being 10 minutes walk to the centre. It’s outdated, fairly unclean and staff who worked at glacial speed - if ever to be found - were typical of the hotel. It’s price point was on the median so I’d be really interested for a comparable hotel to be rated

Cons: Catastrophique, nous avons pris une nuit juste avant de partir à l’aéroport des travaux avec des marteau-piqueur et tous les engins nous ont réveillé à je ne sais pas quelle heure vraiment très déçu il y a une piscine juste devant nous mais franchement je n’imagine pas être posée avec tous les bruits des engins une nuit à 130 € pour être réveillé à 7h du matin avec des bruits non merci. Je suis vraiment déçu

L'établissement est très grand, le personnel est très accueillant. Ma chambre était très spacieuse c'était vraiment bien. Le petit déjeuner est un vrai + il y a énormément de choix au buffet, c'est super agréable. La décoration de l'hôtel est superbe, que ce soit l'espace salon marocain ou bien la où il y a les piscines.
Cons: Petit point en moins car il y a eu plusieurs jours sans ménage dans la chambre malgré ma pancarte mais je sais que si j'étais allée à la réception, ils auraient faits le nécessaire.
