El Riad es fabuloso. Nos hospedamos 5 personas. La habitación es muy bonita y amplia con 2 baños en el interior. El personal muy amable y atento, dejándonos dejar el equipaje tanto el día de llegada como el de salida. El desayuno muy rico, variado y abundante, contando siempre con las preferencias e intolerancias de todos. Cuenta con un rooftop impresionante con vistas a la ciudad y un salón interior muy acogedor. 100% recomendable.

Prima volta in Marocco. Un po' spaesate, ma lo staff e in particolare Doha ci sono stati di grande aiuto, sia prima del nostro arrivo (organizzato transfer dall'aeroporto al riad) che durante il nostro soggiorno. Sempre disponibile e pronta ad aiutarci per ogni nostra necessità. Riad molto familiare, una oasi di pace. Camera molto ampia e dotata di tutti i comfort. Colazione eccezionale e abbondante.

A localização é excelente e todas as principais atrações turísticas podem ser realizadas caminhando. A beleza da Riad é grande e tudo muito bem cuidado. O atendimento é impecável de todos, especialmente da Doha ( espero que seja assim que escreve o nome dela). O cuidado na reserva do taxi para o aeroporto, mostra um atendimento muito acima da média. Recomendarei aos amigos que forem à Marrakesh e queiram ficar na Medina.

Cons: Nós ficamos em um quarto exterior, último andar, se tinha a vantagem de não ser úmido pois tinha janela que podia ser aberta para ventilação, era muito quente e o ar-condicionado não dava conta de esfriar completamente. O chuveiro era muito fraco, mas com paciência o banho era agradável.

Le personnel est très accueillant et très gentil. Notre chambre était décorée avec soin et très typique. La petite terrasse sur le toit est top. Le Riad se trouve dans la Médina et vous êtes directement dans l'ambiance en passant le pas de la porte. Le petit déjeuner est parfait.

We spent a couple of days at Riad Konouz and we loved every single thing. The experience started with great communication with Mohammed, he provided details and even arranged the airport pickup for us. The Riad is located in a good area, we found it very safe and full of color, very clean and quiet. It is a traditional home, so do not expect elevators, or fancy stuff. Our room was at the second floor, near the terrace and had everything we needed for our stay: very clean, mini fridge, AC, and most important it was quiet. There was some noise coming from other guests, but I think that's something related to their education and not the Riad. The staff is amazing, everyone did their best to help us out with different requests, they recommended places to eat, buy argan oil and things to visit. Marwan, Doha, Ayoub made our stay very pleasant, we are really thankful to them. Another thing that is worth mentioning is the breakfast, which is very rich and tasty. It changes a bit based on availability, and it is very good.

El sitio es perfecto y el personal también. No está justo en el centro pero vas paseando por el zoco a él. Hay sitios para comer alrededor y el desayuno está muy bien también (pan, mermeladas..típico marroquí). El personal es realmente agradable y servicial. Las habitaciones son súper cómodas y están muy limpias.

Cons: Tuve que dejar la habitación 20 minutos antes de la hora del check-out pero me pude quedar en la riad tomando té y el aire acondicionado hacía mucho ruído pero para mi, niguna de estas dos cosas son graves, es un sitio 10.

Густой, насыщенный, просили по второму стакану на завтраке) Большая благодарность Аюбу и другим сотрудникам (к сожалению, не смогла запомнить их имена) - встретили как старых знакомых, напоили чаем, сами заполнили все нужные бумаги. Помогали по всем вопросам. Номер у нас был хоть и небольшой, но все прекрасно работало. Сам риад очень красивый, аутентичный, оформлен со вкусом. Мы остались очень довольны!

CHAMBRE ET CONFORT: Chambre cozy, joliment décorée avec goût, et très propre, lit confortable. Accès direct sur une belle terrasse agrémentée de magnifiques plantes. En mi ultimo día de viaje me robaron el bolso con mi pasaporte, por lo que tuve que quedarme 3 días mas para hacer todos los tramites pertinentes. Esos días me quedé en este riad, lo que fue la mejor decisión que pude tomar. Fueron mis peores días de mi vida, con nervios, miedo e incertidumbre de cuando iba a poder volver a mi país. Doha estuvo pendiente de mí todo el tiempo, me venía a tocar la puerta para preguntarme como estaba, me hacía la comida (la cual no estaba incluida en el precio) porque yo estaba muy mal y sola en Marrakech (ya que mis amigas habían volado a España), me acompañó a coger el taxi para que no fuera caminando sola e incluso me dio comida en una bolsa para el viaje. No pude encontrar con una persona mas buena que ella y el riad. Por último, se puso en contacto conmigo por whatsapp para saber de mi, y de si por fin había podido volar a España. Sin duda alguna hicieron que en mis peores momentos me sintiera un poco mas segura y tranquila. Además el riad es espectacular, la decoración, el desayuno, el resto del personal y la relación calidad/precio.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Riad. It’s absolutely beautiful inside, with a lovely atmosphere. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, and the breakfast was fresh and delicious every morning. The only small downside was that it could get a little noisy in the mornings when other guests were coming down for breakfast, but this is more to do with the layout of the rooms being close together.

Cons: Our only real disappointment was with the trip to Ourika Valley that the host arranged for us (we mentioned that we wanted to book this trip on Bookings.com upon arrival and they suggested they would do it for us). We paid €60 for a family of four, but it turned out to be just group transport rather than a proper guided tour. For the same price on Booking.com you can get a full trip that includes several stops, a guide, and lunch. Instead, we were dropped at a restaurant where there was only one set menu at 130 dirhams per person, so we ended up spending an additional €60 on lunch, plus another 150 dirhams for a guide to take us to the waterfalls. Overall, we paid double what we expected. I’d recommend booking the Ourika Valley tour directly through Booking.com to get much better value for money.

I absolutely recommend choosing Riad Konouz for your stay in Marakesh. The architecture is absolutely stunning, definitely underlines the whole historical experience from the city. The room is quiet, cozy and comfy, with everything you can possible need for your stay. A kitchen is available as well as 24/7 service. Need a taxi? Done. Want to do a trip to dessert? Done. Print a boarding pass? Done. The owners go above and beyond to help you with anything that you want or need. The place has a very nice rooftop, where you can peacefuly enjoy the atmosphere of the city all day/night long. It is very close to the city center, on a quiet street which is something that you will most definitely enjoy after exploring the sometimes chaotic city. Nothing bad to say. Thank you for an amazing stay!

I had such a lovely time at Riad Konouz. The staff go above and beyond to make sure you have everything you need. Doha was especially kind when I had a bad tummy. She made me tea and offered to go get me water so I didn’t have to leave. So very kind of her. My room was so pretty and the sunset from the rooftop terrace is magical. The AC worked great, the bed was super comfortable and the location was great. Right off a busy street but silent once you enter the riad. The Moroccan breakfast was perfect as well, served in the beautiful main room. I can’t say enough wonderful things about my experience.

The place is extremely charming and well run. We had a great stay. The room was nice and we enjoyed the roof terrace as well. Breakfast was yummy. The hosts were super lovely and even mailed our (already stamped) postcards for us.

Cons: The bathroom was a bit cumbersome - the door swung outward and the light switch was hidden behind the swinging door. The step stool into the elevated bathroom was quite wobbly. The shower and sink workedfine, but the tile paint and stick-on tile were applied very haphazardly and quite funny.

This was my second stay in 2 years and it was just as good this time as the last. The staff are lovely - very kind and helpful. A big thank you to Doha and Ayoub for taking such good care of me and the other guests. The location is good- close to the medina but in a very quiet area with lots of amenities nearby. It is quiet at night. The rooms are of a very high standard- tastefully decorated with good showers, sitting areas and air con. The roof terrace is lovely as is the downstairs area. Breakfast is plentiful and varied and tbey are happy to accommodate any requests for different foods/ choices if they can. They do evening meals but I did not eat on this time. If I ever return to Marrakech I will definitely stay here.

Riad Konouz is harmoniously decorated in Moroccan style, we loved it. Perfectly located, within walking distance from many important places (the souks, Djeema el-Fnaa, Koutoubia Mosque, pick-up points of guided tours). Altough close to the busy street yet really quiet and relaxed. The rooftop "lounge" is like an oasis. Really helpful staff, no matter if it is about a transfer to the airport, preparing a delicious local tagine for dinner or suggesting places to visit or shops to buy local things. Mohamed was really easy to communicate with when preparing for the trip, then Ayoub was a really kind host during our stay. Thanks a lot Riad Konouz!

My family of 4 stayed here twice on our 2 week trip to Morocco; 2 nights at the start and 1 night at the end. We found the staff to be very welcoming and helpful, and the space relaxed and quiet. It's down a small street off of a busy road in the medina, and provides a peaceful and colourful space to retreat to after sightseeing. The breakfast was consistently great and not the same every day. We used the taxi service to/ from the airport and would recommend using that as navigating the medina takes some getting used to.

I was welcomed warmly and found the riad so peaceful and beautiful and quiet. Nice simple Moroccan breakfast, with the added bonus of a whole carafe of coffee for me. Fresh orange juice. I felt so relaxed. I didn't use the terrace, but I think it would be a nice place to hang if I were staying longer.

Cons: It's a small detail. The light bulbs were had cool light temperature. It would be more cozy if they were warm colour temperature.

Probably the best accommodation of our entire stay in Morocco. The family room was spacious and comfortable, and I appreciated having a hairdryer in the bathroom. The staff was helpful, and breakfast was good. The rooftop terrace is amazing, offering breathtaking views of the High Atlas. The hotel is tucked away in a side alley, away from the busiest streets, so you don’t have to dodge motorbikes the moment you step outside.

There are lots of eateries and shops/markets locally and the masjid where Imam Jazuli is buried is only a 10-minute walk. A manned parking lot at the top of the street is convenient if you have a car.

Cons: The neon light from the AC is difficult to get used to in the night whilst sleeping. Location is about 25 minutes' walk from the main square.

Cons: The only concern I would say is that the breakfast was good but it could have been better. They would serve omelettes upon request and wouldn’t offer on their own. We had 3 kids under 5 with us so we do consider breakfast serious. Also, the towels they provided were a bit stiff and could be better with a softener or may be replaced.

Cons: I recently stayed at Riad Konouz, and while the facilities and amenities were rather satisfactory, the behaviour of the staff ruined our experience significantly. Unfortunately, an incident occurred involving one of the hotel staff members and my partner that was deeply unsettling and has left us both with lasting psychological effects. Incident Description: During our stay, a female staff member behaved inappropriately towards my partner at the very first moments. Despite my partner’s clear discomfort and attempts to clarify, staff member persisted with unprofessional and intrusive behaviour. Preaching unrelated regulations and judging peoples’ ethics and intention blindly for no reason. This also as well included unwelcoming comments and raising voice that crossed all boundaries of acceptable conduct. This incident has caused my partner tremendous psychological distress for the rest of the whole visit. What should have been a relaxing and enjoyable stay turned into a source of anxiety, doubts and also distrust. Hotel Management Response: no immediate action was taken to address our concerns or to ensure such behaviour would not be repeated. We were left feeling unsupported and unprotected, adding to the trauma of the initial incident. I hope that the management takes these concerns very seriously and implements necessary changes to prevent future guests from experiencing similar distress. It is crucial to acknowledge and address the grievances of your guests to maintain a trustworthy and safe environment. Immediate corrective measures and a sincere apology could have been appreciated!!

Good breakfast but too much, and not much variety over a week. Location good, a short walk to most of the major sites - 15 minutes to the medina, 5-10 minutes to main museums and gardens. Helpful English speaking staff usually available. Some good restaurants a short walk away.

Cons: Room rather small, beds good, bathroom also a little small, but hot shower OK. Furniture in local styles, interesting if slightly garich to our tste! Staff very helpful. We are very glad we stayed at Riad Konouz for our three nights in Marrakech. It is a twenty minute walk from the main square and a bit more to the main palaces and the Koutoubia mosque. But it is very close to lots of shops and restaurants and also very quiet. Our daughter enjoyed that their was a playground a few minutes down the street. The hosts were incredibly friendly and hospitable. We enjoyed our two dinners and our breakfasts and the welcome tea was great. Our room was spacious and comfortable and we slept well. The common areas were beautifully decorated with great views on the terrace. The neighborhood felt safe.

The staff was the highlight of the stay- especially Ayuba and Doha. I felt very safe and if I needed any help it would be readily available. The entire staff there are the best and I felt welcome from the moment I walked in. The breakfast was delicious and the staff was very flexible on what time they would prepare it for me. My room was clean and I loved that I could just step onto the rooftop. I appreciated the air-con which was not loud which helped for a comfortable evening. The location of the Riad was great too because it's a 5-minute walk into the Souk which takes you into the square. Ayuba was very helpful with directions and I was given the manager's phone number which I could call if I ever had any problems (I did not but it was nice to have just in case). I can't believe how cheap the Riad was for the standard of comfort and service. I can not recommend this Riad enough and I know that when I return I will be happy to stay there again. Safe location for lone travelers and families alike.

This family-run riad was beautiful, and well-located, on a quiet side street only a short walk away from endless restaurants, shops etc. There was a parking lot nearby, within the medina, where we were able to be dropped off, instead of having to walk with luggage through the streets, as we did in other cities. Jemaa el-Fnaa was a twenty minute walk from the riad. We were three adults in a family suite, which had a double bed and two single beds. It was spacious and we had a very comfortable stay. Breakfasts were traditional, fresh and tasty. There were water shortages in the city on two of the days during our stay, and the riad provided us with bottles of water for washing etc. The room had an air conditioner. There was daily housekeeping in the mornings.

This lovely place looks exactly like on the photos! As soon as you walk in, you feel like being in an oasis. It was also the best check-in experience I’ve ever had, thanks to Ayoub’s fantastic hospitality skills. We were greater with local tea and had a lovely conversations with him during our stay. The location is also great, within the Medina but far enough from the main noisy square (10-15 min walk). The little details of the interior (including the room) gives it a premium vibe. Major well done to the owners for the incredibly interior design. I absolutely loved the top terrace!

Cons: As we stayed for 5 nights it would’ve been useful to have better storage in the room and coffee & tea making facility would be a nice to have. The water pressure is a little low, being a traditional riad and it would’ve helped to include how to find the property as we got lost a little first. These are all just constructive feedback, overall we loved our stay here

The Riad is amazing! A super traditional setting in a great location: it’s in the Medina, but at its borders, so reaching the city center is easy and quick, and visiting further away places like the Jardin Majorelle only takes 10 minutes walking! The breakfast was always good- everyday there was something different- and the staff SUPER helpful and amazing. We highly recommend Riad Konouz!

Cons: The only thing we could say of negative, really, was that at the last floor- where we stayed- the water pressure was low, and taking a shower while other people were doing the same in their rooms could be challenging!

The staff is very friendly and made us feel very welcomed. The breakfast is fantastic. The room for us three was big and the decoration of both the room (and the full riad) is just beautiful. There's a lovely common area and a beautiful terrace. The area is at walking distance to most of the main attractions.

The proprietor Douha was so welcoming and went above and beyond to ensure my friend and I had a safe and comfortable stay. It's a beautiful riad and you can sit on the roof terrace which is quiet away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

Cons: I had visited Marrakech before and probably wouldn't recommend this location to first time visitors as it involves a 20+ minutes walk to most sights. However it is close to a pick up point for excursions and the area felt safe.

Very cute property! Quaint and clean, the staff is very attentive and helpful. Our rooms were closed off almost like a small apartment! Very organized and clean, there was functioning a/c, we had 2 bathrooms and a mini living room all to ourselves. Breakfast was on time and they were able to not only get us a taxi to the airport, but they also agreed to hold our luggage for us despite us being checked out already.

The host was incredible. They were so friendly and thoughtful. I'm impressed they prepared my breakfast the night before and brought to my room. Since breakfast at the Riad starts at 8am daily and I planned to leave around 7.30am, they insisted I should eat something before I left. Nothing was impossible. Staff were resourceful. They gave suggestions where to visit and what to eat during my short excursion to Essaouira.

Very nice family run riad, with nice surroundings. The family members are very helpful and organized the day trips and transportation for me and also suggested things for sightseeing. The breakfast is made upon your request and it is very good. There is a nice rooftop to relax and there is a good wifi connection. It is a 10 min walk to the bazaar and close to restaurants.

I arrived pretty late in the evening and the staff was very welcoming and friendly. I called ahead and they arranged an airport pickup for a small extra fee. The room was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was typical moroccan style including delicious bread and olives. I enjoyed being a little farther from the main square, making my nights a bit quieter and calmer.

Cons: For people looking to be closer to the main square (not my case), the location can feel a little less than ideal. However, a short 10-15min walk will take you right to the center.

very well appointed Riad with lovely rooms and terraces. beds are comfortable and rooms have good facilities and are nicely decorated. the Riad is close to the Medina but very quiet. the breakfast is ok - could be more varied and generous, but you can ask for what you would like and they will provide. the staff are lovely- it is Family run and they are always on hand to help and chat. they can arrange trips if needed and I can recommend the evening meal (you have to pre order) - much better than the food in most of the restaurants in the medina.

We were in the Charazade suite and it was big enough for 4 of us. Breakfast was plenty and delicious. We had dinner in the riad 2 times and it was some of the best food we ate in Marrakech. Very friendly staff that gave us a lot of tips for visiting the Medina. They arranged our pickup taxi from the airport and again to take us to the bus stop for our next destination. Staff was always smiling and ready to help with anything we needed. Doha even bought us some spices we wanted from her trusted spice shop.

As I was leaving one of the staff wanted 10€ for tax. I said I didn’t have 10€. She said OK never mind. I felt like maybe it was just a way to get more money out of me. Morocco is well known for those kinds of tricks.

Cons: It was very noise inside. It’s a riad and they are not designed to be quiet. The other guests were just inconsiderate, and thoughtless.

The decor is amazing, really gorgeous with lovely homelike touches. Our room opened directly onto the roof terrace, ideal for relaxing with a book and a cold drink while enjoying the sunshine. The location is perfect, close to everything yet so quiet and peaceful. Really good breakfast to set us up for the day. But what makes this place so special is the staff. Ayoub and the team made us feel completely at home. Nothing too much trouble. From carrying our bags from taxi (riad in car free area of medina), organising excursion (including packing up a hearty breakfast to take with us for 7.15 pick up and organising a late, and delicious, dinner for when we arrived back). I would give Riad Konouz 100 star rating if I could. Thank you everyone.

It’s a 10 min walk away from Djema El Fnaa so you’re not too far away from action, but at the same time you’re also a nice and quiet part of town very peaceful.

We initially booked for one night and were supposed to arrive in the afternoon but due to flight delay, we reached Riad at around midnight. Despite the time, the hosts welcomed us with Moroccan tea. We also wanted to leave early in the morning and forgot to mention that we would need an early breakfast but still when we woke up delicious breakfast was prepared for us. Then there was another change of plans and we needed to stay one more night, luckily the room was still available. The next day, when we actually had to leave early, we got the breakfast to take away with us. The location was perfect and the hosts super helpful, they gave us plenty of hints for our trip. Thanks for a great stay!

The hosts were very friendly and helpful. They helped us with the transport from the airport The room was big enough. Even though the room was not ready when we arrived, it is very understandable because it was earlier than the check-in time. They allowed us to let the luggage in the room and then they served us tea. After the room was ready, it was clean. The wifi and location are good. The breakfast is good, but people should be aware that in general, the breakfast is focused more on sweet things.

Cons: The blankets were smelling a bit of dust but considering that the entire city is full of dust and pollution, I do not know what they could do to fix this since it was enough to let the window / door a bit open for the dust to be in the room. We had to leave early in the morning and they provided breakfast for us. They gave us yoghurt but this was not practical since we were travelling. We had to let it in the room together with the fruits.
