I cannot recommend this beautiful riad enough!!! It is a hidden oasis in the medina - so peaceful especially in the mornings, beautiful and classy interior design that looked well put together! The plants and all the decors gave it a very relaxing atmosphere. I had the most restful holiday and will surely come back to this place. I am very grateful to Mohammed - he was very kind, hospitable, very attentive to our needs, and made us feel at home. I've never experienced this level of hospitality before! The housekeeping ladies in the mornings were also very kind and helpful. This is such a beautiful place to stay in Marrakech ♥️

Beautiful Riad in the heart of the Medina. Comfortable large rooms with nice terraces to sit and a roof terrace with pool. We had a lovely supper here one evening and the food was very good. Breakfast was plentiful and varied. The staff worked really hard and made sure we had everything we needed. The sunbeds on the roof terrace were very welcome. A short walk into the Medina and main sights. Cafe Merstan nearby serves fantastic Pastilla.

Cons: The shower temperature was very unpredictable which made for an interesting shower on occasion! The rooftop pool was unfortunately full of dead flies, so wasn't very appealing at all.

Meteen goede uitleg met kaart en wat de belangrijkste plaatsen zijn om te bezoeken . transport was met hen geregeld en zeer goed ! de eerste avond daar gegeten : zeer lekker, ook het ontbijt was lekker en voldoende zeer goede locatie !! alles is vlot te voet bereikbaar

Cons: Het enige nadeel was het lawaai : zeer gehorig, als gasten buiten blijven napraten 's avonds, kan je alles horen, 's morgens meteen wakker van het lawaai in de keuken. Maar al de rest maakte dit meer dan goed !!

Det var en underbar riad som vi varmt rekommenderar. Det var jättemysigt och personalen var genomgående supertrevlig och mycket serviceminded. Även om alla var väldigt gästvänliga vill vi främst nämna Mona, Mohammed och ägarinnan (vi glömde tyvärr fråga efter hennes namn). Rummet var jättefint med många fina, traditionellt marockanska detaljer och bra daglig städning, extra plus för att det fanns ett litet kylskåp på rummet. Frukosten bestod av många sötsaker, men det går utmärkt att be om något mer nyttigt; vi fick bland annat frukt, bär, sockerfri yoghurt och omelett. Vi åt ute majoriteten av måltiderna, men Monas middag var en av de bästa under hela vår vistelse i Marrakech. All personal samt ägarinnan var supertrevliga och oerhört hjälpsamma.

Cons: Om man ska leta fel. Det enda som skulle kunna förbättras är pooltemperaturen och grovstädningen. Även om det är standard med kalla pooler i Marocko, är gästerna ofta internationella och upplever den som alldeles för kall, vi såg faktiskt inga andra gäster använda poolen under vår vistelse. När det gäller städningen fanns det fläckar på både golvmattor och överlakan som skulle behöva ses över.

I loved the staff here; Abdou was most kind and on-hand. I also LOVED the decor; the attention to detail was brilliant (felt very authentic). It was also very well located near the souks & attractions like the Ben Youssef.

Cons: I was a bit disappointed with the state of the pool; I'd purposely picked (& paid more for) a riad with a pool but I definitely didn't want to go in the pool sadly (and I'm not super fussy in general!) I think the rooftop on the whole needs a bit more attention/reviving (incl seating/sunbeds) - but on the whole very pleasant.

The place was very authentic and charming. We enjoyed relaxing here after a day exploring the markets. The staff were all very friendly, and helpful. Abdou, the owner provided a map, useful phrases and negotiation advice. Although most of the staff spoke French, Abdou had good English and we were able to communicate with some French and some English with Zedzed. The evening meal and pick up worked perfectly for an evening arrival. The location felt safe and perfect for exploring the old town Medina and markets.

La nostra esperienza al Riad è stata a dir poco stupenda: i coniugi che ce l'hanno in gestione sono gentilissimi, cordiali, disponibili! Ogni mattina abbiamo avuto un' abbondante colazione, composta da: spremuta, caffè americano, yogurt, crepes, briochine (di forno) e altre due crepes tipiche marocchine, tutto preparato al momento, fresco e delizioso! Non vedevamo l'ora arrivate ogni mattina il momento della colazione:) solitamente la colazione viene servita intorno alle 8.30, ma, avvisando prima, sono disponibilissimi a prepararla anche prima. La camera, così come tutto il resto, pulitissima: ogni mattina la signora viene a fare il letto e a cambiare gli asciugamani. La posizione è anche perfetta per girare tutto a piedi :) Se tornerò a Marrakech, soggiornerò sicuramente lì!! :)

Beautiful riad, a calm, welcoming, homely environment that felt like an oasis in the heart of the city. We were looked after very well from the moment we arrived, especially by Zedzed who served us dinner (which was absolutely delicious! Proper home cooked chicken tagine with Moroccan soup starter and traditional sides) and was very attentive throughout the stay. Very special place.

They made us feel completely at home and went above and beyond to make my girlfriend’s birthday extra special. It’s the perfect relaxing escape from the busy streets of Marrakesh. La chambre comme l’ensemble du lieu étaient d’une propreté irréprochable. Les chambres sont spacieuses, la literie très confortable, et le système de chauffage/climatisation fonctionne parfaitement. L’emplacement est idéal : au calme, tout en étant à proximité d’une rue commerçante authentique et très bien situé pour visiter les principaux monuments et souks de Marrakech. Accueil agréable et discret de ZZ et Mouna. Personnel toujours disponible et souriant. Riad très calme situé au fond d'un derb (impasse), propre et très bien aménagé, avec 5 chambres autour d'un patio typique à la décoration marocaine, chambres spacieuses et confortables (très bonne literie). Lit double exclusivement, de 140 ou 160cm. Salle de bain privative. Clim réversible. PDJ complet avec galette marocaine, confitures, jus d'orange pressé, thé à la menthe, chocolat chaud pour les enfants. Très bonne localisation pour explorer la Medina à pied, juste distance de la Place Jeema el Fna (10 min par le Souk), proche de nombreux restaurants avec et sans rooftop (entre 3 et 10 min à pied).

Cons: Nous avions la chambre de la propriétaire qui était absente, un peu trop sombre et mal isolée (porte non isolée du bruit du patio et de la cuisine à proximité, et la pluie malheureusement passait en-dessous). Le petit déjeuner était très bien mais tous les jours le même: Il pourrait y avoir des fruits, des oeufs et une plus grande variété de pains.

Loved the art and craftmanship of the riad, the attention to details, the smells and background music, it felt really special to be there. Really amazing renovation, beautiful riad.

Excellent location for socking up the atmosphere and culture. Breakfast was excellent and requests for extra tea and coffee were dealt with very quickly. Rooms were very comfortable and customer service before arrival and during stay was excellent.

Cons: A little more variety at breakfast would have been nice - we stayed for 4 nights and was the same each morning. Delicious, but always the same.

Tastefully and beautifully decorated in style with an old city, but having all the facilities tourist needs - hot water, air conditioner, great WiFi, comfortable bed with warm duvet (yes, it gets cold at night in December). Super clean, cozy, conveniently located and quite. Staff is very welcoming and accommodating, communication is quick and easy through WhatsApp. Highly recommended indeed! Just want to mention - do use the offered service of providing a taxi from and to the airport, the host will meet you at the taxi and show the way to Riad, which is just a 3min walk, but better to be shown the way. Also very helpful going back as booking a taxi can be a challenge in Marrakesh.

The property was beautiful. Great location. Lovely breakfast, lovely people, very clean. Such a hospitable host - we had a very very lovely time and would highly recommend. Our first night at the Riad was our first night in Marrakesh ever, the lovely host sat us down and spoke us through navigating around the Souks, he gave us a map and some key landmarks. All super helpful, it made our wandering around the medina a very lovely experience.

Quiero dar las gracias en especial a Mouna y Laila, excelentes anfitriones por lo que recomiendo al 100%. Siempre pendientes de que no nos faltara nada, educados y muy puntuales en todos sus servicios. Algo importante, pudimos dejar nuestro equipaje al check out hasta la hora de irnos, nos imprimieron los billetes de vuelta, ( aunque en el aeropuerto no nos lo pidieron impresos), y nos gestionaron la recogida en el Riad del taxista que nos llevó al Aeropuerto. Muchísimas gracias por hacer que nuestra estancia fuera tan bonita.

Un Riad tradicional espectacular. Cuando entras te trasladas a otro mundo. Toda nuestra estancia fue un placer. El personal super amables y serviciales. Gracias sobre todo a Abdel. Está ubicado dentro de la medina en una zona tranquila. Nosotros contratamos con ellos el traslado desde el aeropuerto y estaban esperándonos para llevarnos desde el taxi hasta el Riad, así ya nos situamos. Las instalaciones magníficas con una decoración muy buena. La terraza tiene una pequeña piscina ideal para refrescarse y relajarse. El último día nuestro vuelo salía por la noche y nos permitieron dejar el equipaje y después utilizar la terraza, la piscina y ducharnos antes de llevarnos al aeropuerto. Desayuno muy bueno.

The location was very close to the square only a 10 minute walk. The staff were fantastic and offered to walk up to meeting points for trips and very pleasant to deal with. The breakfast was lovely and they could not do enough for us. Also loved how quiet the Riad was. While the medina is very loud the Riad itself was very quite. The rooftop terrace was lovely to relax on. I forgot an item in the room and they came after us to ensure that we got it, could not have been more helpful.

Lokalizacja z drugiej story placu Jama El Fna, co ma swoje plusy w postaci braku turystów (chyba że ktoś się zapędził za daleko), minus taki, że jeśli komuś zależy na bezpośredniej bliskości placu, to musi dreptać 10-15 minut. Dla mnie taka lokalizacja okazała się trafiona. Czyściutko, codziennie sprzątanie i wymiana ręczników (zbędna, ale widać obsługa bardzo się starała). Klimatyzacja nowa, bez zarzutu. Powitanie herbatą marokańską. Basen malutki, ale można się schodzić. Leżaki z poduszkami za plecy, ręcznikami plażowymi. Nasze mokre pranie na roof topie ktoś z obsługi przewiesił na suszarkę (dziękujemy). Schludne, gustowne, pięknie zaprojektowane. Pomocny personel (pani wyszła nam na spotkanie, ponieważ w uliczkach mediny można się zgubić, riad jest ukryty za milionem zakrętów. A! 2 minutki do piekarni. Gorący chleb każdego wieczoru. Przed przyjazdem otrzymałam wskazówki organizacyjne oraz dotyczące samego Marrakeshu. Cena dość wysoka na nasz budżet, ale zdecydowaliśmy się na droższą opcję po powrocie z Sahary. Nie żałuję wydanych pieniędzy, mimo że w innych riadach pobyt kosztował nas mniej, za to standard również był dużo niższy. Śniadania typowo marokańskie, czyli na słodko. Kawa, herbata, dżemy, ser topiony, pieczywo, placki. Na zabicie pierwszego głodu, co tu chyba jest typowe. Zdecydowanie polecam.

Cons: Może tylko brak klucza do drzwi wejściowych (głównych), ponieważ za każdym razem trzeba było pukać, żeby otworzono. Przy czym to chyba bardziej mało komfortowe dla personelu, niż dla gości.

Cons: I can’t think of anything negative about this property. If I were to make a suggestion, it would be to offer a bit more variety in the breakfast, as guests staying for several nights might appreciate a change from having the same food each day.

This was such a beautiful stay. The highlight of this stay were the staff. They were all so friendly and helpful especially Zeze who was very patient with my terrible French and couldn't have done more to help us. The room was beautiful and very cool in the heat. The atmosphere is so peaceful in the middle of an often chaotic central Marrakech. It was ideal having a little fridge in the room. The rooftop and the cold Jacuzzi were a lovely thing to have after a hot day in the city.

Accept the offer of a private airport transfers especially if arriving at night. Also, accept the wonderful opportunity of dinner in, on the terrace, the food is wonderful, the setting quite special.

Cons: A minor thing as the staff very happily obliged, but would have liked a key to the front door, rather than having to ring the bell, other than that, everything was on point.

The owner was very helpful, and sent someone to pick us up and drop us off at the taxi from and to the airport. He also gave us excellent information about where to go and the landmarks etc. The property is decorated very tastefully, and they also have a nice gazebo which could be used in warmer weather - though it was too cold for us to use. The breakfast was good Moroccan breakfast cooked fresh. The only problem was that no fruits were served in breakfast. The caretakers were very helpful and polite. The room and the Riyad are very tastefully decorated, and comfortable. Having electrical points by the bedside was helpful, and the AC worked well. There was a small issue with the head rest though. All in all it was an excellent stay and an excellent property.

Cons: The room was a bit on the smaller side. There was no place to keep the suitcases or to sit down, though there was a lot of common space which one could use. There was a little problem with the head end of the bed - the space for pillows was in a recessed place, enclosed by a wooden frame. everytime one tended to sleep or get up, there was a risk of banging the head against the wood (happened several time to us!!). Perhaps the owner can turn his attention to this problem?

I had a wonderful stay at this charming hotel. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and everything was well-maintained and beautifully designed. The location of the hotel in very close to the market which makes it a nice experience. One of the highlights of my visit was the exceptional hospitality of the hotel’s carer. Despite the language barrier—I don’t speak French or Arabic—we still managed to communicate effortlessly. He was incredibly kind, polite, and always eager to help, making my stay even more enjoyable. One particular detail I appreciated was the evening we arrived he came to pick us up from where the taxi dropped us of because the car couldn't go any further, he brought an umbrella as it was slightly raining and he even warmed up our room in advance before we got to it so we find it nice and warm. His attentiveness and welcoming nature truly made a difference. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and memorable experience in Marakech.

Cons: The location may seem complicated and easy to get lost but all you need is just a phone and you'll easily find your self back to the hotel.

A lovely, traditional riad tucked away in the medina. Zed Zed and the other staff were very kind and helpful. Abdou (who spoke excellent English,) gave us a map of Marrakech to point out the best places to visit and we pretty much covered them all. We also used Abdou to book a three day trip into the Atlas mountains/desert which we'd previously researched. There was a bit of a hiccup over what was offered in the package but we contacted Abdou and he put it right for us. The highlight for us was the 2 hour camel ride to our luxury tent at sunset and then again on the way back at sunrise. Others on our tour were closer to the road and the camel ride was a lot shorter. A bit hard on the backside but these two fit for 60 year olds coped with it.

It is a great classical riad with good decoration. A little away from the beaten road, but still close to the city centre. The hosts are super friendly and helpful. There is a fantastic terrace with comfortable loungers and sofas - we spent much time there while the room felt a little suffocated during the day. Anyway, a small window in the room could be opened, and the air conditioner is working well. Our room on the second floor is well-equipped: an air conditioner, fridge, hairdryer, big wardrobe, and a private toilet. The Moroccan breakfast is good.

Cons: The location was charming, romantic and not very convenient -- but totally conventional for a riad in the medina. Once I got my bearings and confidence in the narrow alleyways, the location was just fine.

This is a wonderful gem in the heart of the city. The staff were wonderful - they were attentive, friendly, warm, respectful and professional, but I also felt like I had lots of privacy. The food was delicious!!! It is like a little oasis. It was a great value for the money! I would definitely stay there again.

Cons: It is very, very hard to find on your own. The staff are happy to meet you somewhere and walk you to the riad - I would recommend you get their help. If you get lost, the passageway is across from three wooden panels/doors with blue diamonds on them. The ac in the room was very weak.

Very friendly and accommodating staff.

Cons: We were asked to pay tax, meals, drinks, transportation arrangements cash which is not a problem but that should be notified from the time of booking. Bed is not very comfortable.

Traditional Riad, very charming. Lovely rooms with Moroccan decor. Amazing roof terrace with small pool. Sun loungers and towels ready. Staff so very helpful.Peaceful place. Breakfast enjoyed by all of us.

We enjoyed our stay. The Riad is in a quieter part of the Medina and is about 10 to 15 minutes walk to the main square. The staff were very helpful and the breakfast was good. We would definitely stay again.

I wanted a traditional home stay B&B type experience and my expectations were met. I felt very safe staying at Raid Makene Moushkill as a single lady. Said was running the Riad for his family. He was fantastic, helpful, polite, always cheerful and smiling and a wonderful chef. I enjoyed fantastic Tagines and two wonderful salads. He was outstandingly helpful with all aspects of my 4 night stay. My room was on the ground floor and was very clean and comfortable. The room was simply furnished in a traditional style with good storage and facilities. The free internet was reliable and helpful. The location was excellent for accessing the historical attractions of the Medina and local markets. In a city made up of numerous dead end twisting narrow alleyways. The local food market at El Moukef made an easy reference point close to home. The highlight of my stay was visiting the Amina Gardens and Dar El Bacha Confluence museum.

Cons: As a poor sleeper, I would have appreciated access to a communal kettle so that I could make myself a cup of tea during the night. There was nothing however I did not like about the Riad.

we loved absolutely everything! we had amazing warm welcome and the hosts were incredibly caring, professional and efficient!! All our stay was so relaxing and we enjoyed like we never did during our holidays!! our special thanks from the bottom of our heads and souls go to Zid Zid ( sorry if the name is spelled incorrectly and his amazing wife. Those people treated us us like their relatives and even helped work some medicines when we needed them. we loved the place and the location was just exactly in the heart of Medina and it was so quiet area where we had a proper rest!! thank you so much!!

Clean and cosy. Just three rooms, two balconies in the common area, beautiful decoration. Nice and helpful staff. A perfect place to relax after the busy day outside.

Cons: The location is central and if you would like to see the life of the locals it is quite authentic. Though it was difficult to find our way back home the first night.

Cons: Our shower lacked curtains so the water would get everywhere. Other than that, nothing else.

authentic riad in a wonderful part of the medina close to the leather making only true adventure seekers will appreciate it The staff were wonderful helpful and made our stay an absolute pleasure. Our first meal in Morocco was on our arrival at the Riad. and it was absolutely amazing. I highly recommend staying here A real piece of Marrakesh.

Cons: Personally I’m not a fan of wet room showers and prefer a high fixed spray head.

lovely family style riad, in a side alley off a side alley. very local. I had many meals at the riad; the food was amazing every time. the roof terras was a great bonus; great place to chill and soak in the January sun.

Beautiful authentic riad, very close to the centre. Atmosphere in the riad was calm and friendly. The hosts were lovely and made the riad feel like home. Breakfast was simple but good. Definitely recommend this place!

Location for walking around the medina was superb! Lovely room, very helpful staff, although a bit of a language barrier. Superb meal on arrival. Excellent breakfasts and loved the rooftop terrace for chilling out.

It was an exceptional stay from start to finish. They organised the airport taxi and met us off the taxi at the edge of the Medina. A very tranquil riad in a perfect location, close to the very busy souks. We had a wonderful meal on first night cooked by Mouna, and the breakfasts every morning were exceptional. We stayed for 6 nights and everything was clean and of exceptional standard! Mouna and her husband could not have been better hosts!

Cons: There was absolutely nothing we could fault with this wonderful riad, run by Mouna and her husband.

The breakfast was very good .. the location is a bit tricky but I would advice getting a Moroccan SIM card to be able to navigate yourself..I would also recommend booking a taxi with the riad so someone come and greet you

Cons: Maybe a few more loungers on the terrace so maybe everyone could use one if needed to..

It was Ok but very basic. different breads, cheese triangles like Dairy Lea (wow spoilt or what), some jam and butter.

Cons: The rhiad was small, the rooms were tiny. Overall it was spotlessly clean but was tired. Paint was faded or flaking, The ironwork around the terrace was rusty. On the last day while we were waiting for the taxi we ordered 2 beers 330ml lager and was expected to pay £33.00 for them. I said it was a excessive and ridiculous and it was reduced to £11.37. I gave them £12.00 but was told they couldn't accept coins so the option was £20.00 with no change. I refused and was given back the £2.00 with a load of abuse about how he would have to make up the difference themselves When we arrived we ordered dinner at 20 Euros each. It was good but nearly double the price that you would pay in many of the restaurants nearby. When it came to check out the room and the taxes could be paid by card. The taxi, drinks and meals had to be paid by cash. It would have been good if they had mentioned this before, but it is something I have never come across before. Obviously a tax issue. So I had to walk to an exchange company to get the cash to pay them 25 mins approx. Not what you would expect from a professional hotel.

The location is a little tricky but fascinating when you learn to navigate the routes that Abdou explains to you on a map. We found a great restaraunt just a few minutes away, Dar L'hssir, in an area you wouldn't find yourself in if you were closer to the El Fna square. The shopping areas nearby on the way to fna square are very interesting and amazing. There is a drop off and pick up area 5 minutes from the riad, you just have to figure it out. Abdul latif walked us there a few times.

Cons: There was nothing we didn't like. We got lost for a few hours walking back the second day but learned the routes and never got lost again.

Said and Moana were very hospitable and helpful, we felt instantly relaxed and welcome. They were always available to discuss things we might want to do in and out of the city, and happy to offer suggestions on the best ways to make the most of our trip. They helped us book our travel to Essouaira and Ourika. Our dinner on the first night was one of the best meals we ate in Morocco and the breakfast was great too! Overal I cannot express enough how great the staff were here!

Cons: The location could be hard to find, but we were provided with a map and told how to find it easily and didn’t have too much trouble!

This family riad in the side streets of the medina but very close to the main shopping area. Straight away, the staff were so welcoming and couldn't help us enough, greeting us at our taxi. The riad has a real quaintness and you can sit and just take in the atmosphere. We ate twice at the riad as the food was so amazing. The cook went out of her way to provide us with traditional Moroccan food which was so tasty. This riad is a great little find and I cannot recommend it enough, you won't be disappointed.

Before we even arrived, the hotel management contacted us checking what time we would arrive, if we need a pickup, any dinner (with various options). On arrival, we were made to feel welcome and the traditional decor and comfort made us feel welcome.

Cons: The hotel is what it is. Its boutique and quirky, its easy access in the heart of the Madina means you can hear the bustle inn the street and the rooms are not sound proof..but this adds to the charm!

It was Wow from the first step into the entrance lobby. Moorish architecture. just amazing. Beautifully kept. if you want to enter Morocco with it’s history, architecture, and people, this is it!

Cons: The staff were exceptional: kind, caring, would do anything for me, including a motorcycle ride through the real Morocco to find an ATM machine. Lovely people. Also, great food. I had breakfast there.

Very authentic place to stay. Very friendly staff. Very out of the way. But in the middle of the old city still.

Cons: This place is harder to find than the love of a good person. The taxi driver from the airport gave up in the end. The staff did come and find us though at 2am.

A lovely traditional Riad right in the middle of Marrakesh`s medina with friendly people. We chose to have dinner there the first evening - good choice with great food (even a vegetarian option). The transfer to the airport also worked really well. And the Jacuzzi after a day in loud and crazy and hot Marrakesh was simply great.

Cons: We had some communication difficulties as we don't speak French.
