That was the 1st time to stay in this Hotel , the hotel in General is in a very Strategic location, close from the main attractions in the city. Food was great, whether that was on Breakfast, or other A LA CART demands. Pool was great and surrounded with a lot of Greenery ... room size is ok and acceptable. Housekeeping services were fantastic.

Cons: Limited parking Lots . however, Hotel team is very supportive and helpful to solve this issue. the 2nd annoying item is the old furniture that you find in the rooms , this needs to be changed to provide perfect experience .

Cons: Le personnel qui discute dans les couloirs dès 8H du matin et vous reveille et lorsque vous lui faites la remarque il s'étonne. Les oreillers très durs, le petit déjeuner très moyen avec très peu d'options. Ce n'est pas la première fois que nous venons et l'hôtel nous avait habitué à beaucoup mieux.

Cons: Dit is absoluut geen 5 sterren Hotel. Kamer heeft echt onderhoud nodig. De badkamer was half kapot, deze is echt toe aan een nieuwe. Er was lawaai op de gang omdat er medewerkers zijn. Ze houden geen rekening met gasten. Dit hotel is veelste duur met wat je ziet en krijgt. Prijs en kwaliteitverhouding klopt niet! Wij komen hier niet meer. De medewerkers waren wel heel vriendelijk.

La situation dans le centre

Cons: Tarifs clairement trop élevés pour des prestations qui ne suivent plus. L’hôtel est vieillissant, les chambres et équipements auraient besoin d’une vraie remise à niveau, et l’ensemble ne correspond plus au standing attendu à ce prix à Marrakech. Dommage, car l’emplacement dans l’Hivernage reste très bon et le lieu conserve un certain charme historique, mais aujourd’hui le rapport qualité/prix n’y est plus du tout.

L'hotel se situe a 15minutes du centre et de l'aéroport donc plutôt pratique pour se déplacer. Le jardin est agréable.

Cons: L’hôtel ne vaut pas son prix clairement, hôtel très très vieillot qui en plus est en travaux pendant que vous séjourner j'ai du changer de chambre dès le premier jour car j'avais des travaux a 10 cm de la chambre des travailleurs découpait des planches de bois a la scie sauteuse à 8h du soir; Et quand vous vous plaignez des bruits de travaux l'accueil dit que vous devez confondre avec dehors alors que j'ai clairement vu des travaux. Ma baie vitrée ne fermait pas donc niveau sécurité très limite. On ma volé un short dans l’hôtel. Tout est extrêmement cher, une simple bouteille d'eau vous coutera 6euro. La piscine n'est pas chauffé comme annoncé. Le petit déjeuner est passable. Les serveurs mettent beaucoup de temps à vous servir mais vous saute dessus au moment de payer. L’hôtel est très mal isolé globalement vous entendez la chambre d'a coté comme si ils étaient avec vous. Le dernier soir le personnel de ménage m'a totalement retiré mes serviettes de bains je n'avais pas de quoi me sécher.

Un véritable havre de paix ! L’hôtel est situé dans un quartier très agréable, calme et verdoyant, tout en étant proche de nombreux sites touristiques à visiter. Le cadre est magnifique, la piscine superbe et l’ensemble respire la sérénité. Idéal pour un séjour détente tout en restant bien placé. Je recommande vivement !

⭐☆☆☆☆ I had a very disappointing experience at this casino in Marrakech during a poker session. I came as a guest specifically to play Texas Hold’em, and everything was fine until the dealer changed and suddenly introduced a “double draw” situation that I had personally never encountered before. Because another player had gone all-in, I asked for a moment to understand the situation and think before making my decision. Instead of explaining calmly or giving me reasonable time, a staff member aggressively pressured me to play immediately, accusing me of wasting time. I politely explained that I needed a moment to process the hand, but the situation escalated unnecessarily. A manager approached me, and instead of helping resolve the misunderstanding professionally, I was removed from the table and ultimately asked to leave the premises. As a customer, I expected professionalism, patience, and respectful treatment — especially in a poker environment where players sometimes need time to make important decisions. Unfortunately, I felt humiliated and unfairly treated. I hope management improves staff training and customer relations so future guests are treated with more respect.

My family and I checked out of our Riad in the Medina early one day but had an evening flight home. I checked out all the options for day passes at hotels between the Medina and the airport, and the Es Saadi was the cheapest (600 MAD for adults, 300 MAD for children under 12). It's an older hotel as the other reviews indicate, the pool is of a modest size and the hotel of an older construction style but I was very happy I chose the Es Saadi - paying substantial premiums for the newer hotels is unnecessary. The inclusive lunch around the pool was excellent, a variety of options and the ability to pay small supplements for more premium dishes. There's a dedicated 'day pass' menu which is identical to the regular menu but instead of list price lists the inclusive items, and supplements for others; day passes are not an afterthought here, they are recgonised well and work seamlessly. All the staff without exception were delightful, delivering excellent service chatting with us, being present but not overbearing, and all with a smile. For example, at several times during the day the staff pro-actively offered to adjust the parasol positioning to provide us shade throughout. Storing our luggage for the day was no problem, nor retrieving items throughout the day. The pool is heated and a comfortable temperature for swimming and playing. Thanks to everyone at the Es Saadi for giving us a great chill-out day after several frantic days in the Medina!

I have just spent four days at this hotel. There is no way on this planet that it is a five star it is so dreadfully rundown and I had no hot water for three days. The bathrooms are a disgrace chip tiles, crack tiles, bath enamel non-existent in places no hot water.. . The only good things were the posh restaurant with French cuisine and the sun lounges and the warm pool but it was not warm enough to use them.! definitely no more than three star plus hotel closing in June for major refurbishment which is very very long overdue. Do not go before then oryou will be very very disappointed.

The food at the in-house restaurant and room service were both amazing. The free breakfast was incredible. The entire staff was helpful and kind. This was my first time in Morocco. I vastly preferred to stay here vs a traditional riad in the Medina. It was really comforting for the taxis to know exactly where to take us. The staff helped us Americans avoid some mistakes, like not knowing to reserve tickets online for popular sites of interest in advance.

Cons: The one minor challenge for fellow Americans is their beds are really firm. Hard beds are typical of Morocco, so this isn't a negative review of this specific hotel. As someone who is 50 with arthritis in her spine, I will look at picking up a camping mat or eggshell crate mattress cover before making another trip back to Morocco.

The only thing good about this hotel is the excellent location. From the broken drawers at the reception to the outdated rooms it was not a good experience. We tried to get a refund so we could go to a better hotel but they refused and unfortunately we were booked for 6 days. It was my birthday celebration week so this was so bad for my husband and myself. Some of the things are listed below: The rooms are outdated and require upgrading Pillow is made of stone so I had neck pain. Bed too small Fridge no layers Tv not smart so you can’t even watch Netflix since they didn’t really have nice movie channels. Bathroom stained and very old fashioned. Toilet flush very hard to push. The staff at the concierge and breakfast room were very nice though always trying to ensure we had all we needed. I can’t say the same for the staff at the reception though.

He even not allow me to cross the lobby to go to the casino. There are kids outside who usually attack and steal customers. I got robbed twice. It is scary place for me now. Hotel pool was great and people were very nice. Breakfast was great and servers went over the top to accommodate anything we wanted. The only draw back are the rooms that are a little outdated and we had a slight issue with the bathroom but was easily fixed and from this point on we were very happy. Would stay again if we come again to Marakesh. Thank you all !!

My second time staying here, and I still love it. Sure, it's a little older, and worn-down in some places. Sure, it could use a renovation-though that would raise the prices... The friendly & super helpful staff more than make up for the couple of rough spots. If there is anything problem, the staff will swiftly and efficiently get it taken care of. Their breakfast buffet is excellent. The breakfast staff makes you feel like royalty, as well as a cherished family member. We also stayed the weekend at a very "fancy" hotel (of a well known hotel chain) by the beach, and the breakfast there was quite subpar. Es Saadi has spoiled us. The housekeeping staff are jewels, as well as the floor night staff, turning down your bed, if desired, and bringing fresh towels, water, or fresh roses after our late night check-in. Our air conditioner conked out one evening around 22:00- my husband went out in the hall, ready to go down to the reception, but the floor night staff was so attentive, that he had heard our door open and checked to see if we needed anything. He immediately called maintenance and in less than 15 minutes the problem had been found, and taken care of. I didn't even break out in a sweat- though Marrakech this June was quite warm. The pool staff- very attentive as well, and seem to know that you need your umbrella adjusted before you realize it yourself. So nice to be pampered. I also appreciate that many employees have been there for a long time. To me, this speaks highly for the management and employer. Are there more modern hotels in Marrakech? Sure. Will I still return to Es Saadi? Every time. Thank you to all the staff who made us feel so welcomed, and comfortable. We appreciate it.

The people here are so kind, so genuinely warm and loving… it felt like coming home to family. Every staff member radiates hospitality. Nothing was too much to ask, and everything was done with a smile. We felt seen, heard, and cared for not just like guests, but like we were part of something truly special. The atmosphere in the hotel is magical: beautiful, comfortable, and at the same time, intimate. But what really makes this place unique are the people. We have rarely experienced such heartfelt and sincere service. It’s something we will never forget. We didn’t manage to remember all the names, but Loubna and Abdelrazak you, and your colleagues, were absolutely amazing. Thank you for everything! The hotel was spotlessly clean, and we had fresh towels provided twice a day, which was a nice touch. There was plenty of choice at breakfast, something for everyone. The pool area was also well maintained, and it was great that they provided towels, so there was no need to bring our own. Overall, a relaxing and enjoyable experience — we would definitely recommend!

Cons: L’accueil de la réceptionniste et des plagistes, que nous avons trouvé quelque peu froid, ce qui contraste avec le standing attendu pour un établissement de cette catégorie. La présence d’un cafard dans la chambre ainsi que l’état vieillissant de la baignoire. Une rénovation des salles de bains serait, à notre avis, bienvenue compte tenu des tarifs pratiqués et du positionnement de l’hôtel en tant que 5 étoiles. Le tarif de 500 MAD pour l’accès piscine d’un enfant de 10 ans nous a semblé un peu élevé.

Cons: Service: I would not recommend this hotel to families traveling with children. The staff seemed untrained and unable to provide helpful information regarding kids’ activities, family-friendly attractions, or general travel advice. Half Board: Before my stay, I was told that half board would grant access to all restaurants at both the Palace and the Hotel. However, upon arrival, I was informed that dinner was only available at the Hotel restaurant. One of the restaurants (Othello) explicitly stated they do not welcome children, and although they reluctantly accommodated us that evening, it was a clear departure from the information I had received. Food: The breakfast was extremely limited—identical each day—with very few options suitable for children. It certainly did not meet the standards of a 5-star breakfast buffet. Service Delays: Beyond the breakfast buffet, service was frustratingly slow. Every additional request took around 40 minutes. I once waited 45 minutes for two crepes by the pool—and still had to pay for them. Would you like help tailoring this for a review platform like TripAdvisor or Google Reviews?

Cons: Na bookingu brak jest informacji, że hotel pobiera depozyt w wysokości połowy kwoty całego pobytu. Uważam, że taka informacja powinna znaleźć się w opisie zasad dzialalnosci obiektu. Pozatym hotel ma ponad 60 lat i pomimo doskonałego utrzymania, łazienki nadaja sie do generalnego remontu (popękanie plytki, wytarta wanna i baterie).

Nous avons aimé la proximité du centre ville, l’amabilité du personnel. Le spa traditionnel de l’hôtel était propre et les soins de bonne qualité (notamment le gommage au savon noir avec Bouchra).

Cons: L’hôtel et ses équipements sont très vieillissants. Piscine petite et manque de transat en heure de pointe, le confort des chambres (oreiller non confortable, eau de la douche qui alterne le froid et le brulant), le petit déjeuner basique peu varié et de mauvaise qualité pour un 4 étoiles. Nous avions aussi pris cette hôtel pour aller à son restaurant l’épicurien et notre réservation a été annulé le soir de notre repas à 19h.

Arrived had to wait ages to get into the rooms. Pool and pool bar staff excellent. One member of Reception staff was rude and a little aggressive. I was asked to give my credit card details I told them I'd pay cash for anything. I changed money I was asked to pay the city tax. I gave over the cash and waited for the change. I asked for my change and the male receptionist threw the cash back at me and told me to pay cash. I refused so another receptionist took money form his own pocket to give me. Room attendants were great, however one female told us she was off the day we were leaving we did intend leaving tips for them on our last night. I assume as she got nothing at that point she didn't do the turn down or give fresh towels for the next day, which was the norm. This was my second visit to this hotel first time not great either but thought Id give them another go. Wished I hadn't

Je n’ai rien aimé dans cet établissement, il était nul à chier et par-dessus tout des voleurs des gros voleurs, j’ai donné 6000 dirhams et il m’a même pas rendu la monnaie alors que ça faisait 5800 dirhams. Ensuite je rentre à la maison et un nouveau prélèvement de 12,38 € sur ma carte bleue

Cons: J’ai donné 6000 dirhams pour régler la chambre alors que j’avais fait la réservation par carte bleue qui était d’un montant de 560 €. Le montant qui m’a été demandé 5800 dirhams, j’ai donné 6000 dirhams, ils ne m’ont jamais rendu la monnaie et en plus de ça arrivé à la maison, je m’aperçois d’un prélèvement sur ma carte bleue de 12,38 €. Ce n’est pas pour les 12 € mais c’est pour le principe. Cet hôtel sont des voleurs la personne à la réception, apparemment coutumier de ce genre de choses me rend jamais la monnaie au Client.

The hotel is located 5 minutes walk from GITEX convention. Checking in was fast, and the service was great. Room is a bit old style but large and has nice balcony. It was clean and they gave some water and dates on the first day. Breakfast was nice and European style with little Moroccan touch. The hotel is connected to the Palace where you can use the Gym and indoor pool facilities. Overall stay was great, large room and quite.

Je ne sais même pas par où commencer, tellement l’expérience a été décevante. Dès mon arrivée pour le check-in, j’ai été accueilli(e) avec une arrogance inacceptable, totalement indigne d’un établissement prétendant au standing 5 étoiles. Le service est à revoir de toute urgence : les réceptionnistes sont froids, hautains, et d’un mépris révoltant. À cela s’ajoute une facturation abusive de 300 dirhams simplement parce qu’une maquilleuse est venue me préparer dans ma propre chambre. Inadmissible. Cerise sur le gâteau : même en étant client(e) de l’hôtel Es Saadi, l’accès à la piscine du Palace vous est facturé 350 dirhams supplémentaires. Une absurdité totale. Je déconseille fortement cet hôtel. Le rapport qualité-prix est catastrophique, l’accueil est honteux, et le service loin de ce qu’on est en droit d’attendre d’un établissement de cette catégorie.

Aussi très avenant et faisant preuve de beaucoup de bienveillance tout au long de la journée. Les chambres sont très propres et très bien préparées. La literie est très confortable. Le petit déjeuner est exceptionnel en matière de choix et de qualité. La piscine est très bien exposée. Large choix de transat qui permettent d'être toute la journée au soleil. Les appareils de la salle de sport sont de très bonne qualité. Je reviendrai sans hésiter dans cet hôtel. Je recommande les yeux fermés!

Beautiful resort hotel with amazing grounds and gardens. The spa is one of the nicest spas I've ever seen and the grounds and gardens are so pretty. You definitely feel like you're in an oasis when you walk on to the property. There are two swimming pools and both are quite large with poolside service. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable. And, breakfast is really good with a wide variety of items to choose from, including made-to-order omelets. We wish we could have stayed longer as we really enjoyed our time here.

The location of the hotel was convenient, in a walking distance from the noisy Medina and the souks. Breakfast was beyond expectation.

Cons: The 5-star hotel did not live up to its name in any aspect. It is worn out, badly in need of repairs and maintenance. The bed as well as the pillows were disappointing and unearthly uncomfortable. The staff at the reception was helpful enough, however some staff members during the breakfast were extremely rude with very poor language skills. Strange banging in corridors started quite early in the morning, not sure of it was the cleaning staff or other quests.

Très bien situé. Jardin magnifique. Personnel extrêmement gentil et agréable . Très bon petit déjeuner et excellent dîner au restaurant de l’hôtel (demi-pension). Piscine très agréable.

Cons: La salle de bain pourrait être rénovée et modernisée avec une douche plutôt qu’une baignoire!

Facilities were great, and housekeeping kept our room perfect. The pool is great for swimming and heated.

Cons: Only downside was one of the bar staff who was always miserable and unhelpful.

Clean if slightly old fashioned decor. The breakfast was very good with a variety of options both Moroccan and European and attentive staff. Nice bar area.

Stunning service! I cannot fault - and I have traveled around the world! The staffs attention to detail stunning - and the hotel and rooms so clean. Food and drinks great value. Heated outdoor pool was great - size great for swimming - plus a new and well equipped gym that could be used at the palace hotel was a great added bonus! The palace spa (minimal charge if staying at the hotel ) was amazing - facilities and treatments. Highly recommend Es Saadi. Hospitality, location and winter sun offered a wonderful and unforgettable experience. Ann G.

Such a beautiful resort. I stayed here with 15 friends on our study abroad trip and we had the most amazing experience -- the staff is incredible, the resort is beautiful, the food and drinks were amazing. I highly recommend staying here in Marrakesh.
