The only thing good about this hotel is the excellent location. From the broken drawers at the reception to the outdated rooms it was not a good experience. We tried to get a refund so we could go to a better hotel but they refused and unfortunately we were booked for 6 days. It was my birthday celebration week so this was so bad for my husband and myself. Some of the things are listed below: The rooms are outdated and require upgrading Pillow is made of stone so I had neck pain. Bed too small Fridge no layers Tv not smart so you can’t even watch Netflix since they didn’t really have nice movie channels. Bathroom stained and very old fashioned. Toilet flush very hard to push. The staff at the concierge and breakfast room were very nice though always trying to ensure we had all we needed. I can’t say the same for the staff at the reception though.

The hotel is a bit dated but sufficient and clean. The restaurant, though, was fantastic. The wait staff at the restaurant, especially Zine, was very attentive and efficient and the food was amazing. Such a wonderful experience!

Very bad experience. I was here a couple of times and is not so good hotel. Breakfast is bad quality and rooms are small. Receptionist Amin is very rude. He even not allow me to cross the lobby to go to the casino. There are kids outside who usually attack and steal customers. I got robbed twice. It is scary place for me now. Very bad experience, expecially because of Amin lack of respect. PD: I post the photo of the wall where the robbers are usually sit waiting for the preys. I hope you are not the next one to be assalted.

The rooms need a little updating (some scuff marks and chipped paint, things that can easily be remedied) but overall, we enjoyed our stay here and would recommend to friends and family. The AC worked great in the room which was a huge plus! Lovely staff as well.

Hotel pool was great and people were very nice. Breakfast was great and servers went over the top to accommodate anything we wanted. The only draw back are the rooms that are a little outdated and we had a slight issue with the bathroom but was easily fixed and from this point on we were very happy. Would stay again if we come again to Marakesh. Thank you all !!

hotel vieillissant mais qui reste trés agreable tout de même. un peu loin de la place malgré la presence quotidienne de taxis. petit déjeuner correct mais sans plus! personnel trés agréable et attentionné . piscine agréable, bien entretenue avec du personnel disponible et bienveillant ce que je n'ai pas du tout apprécié: le matin de mon départ soit à 6h 45 le samedi 6 septembre on me réclame 150 dirhams pour des consomations prises dans le frigidaire mis à disposition dans la chambre, alors que la veille j'avais réglé ce que je devais à l'hotel, aucun prix n'était affiché concernant les boissons!!!! il faudrait afficher clairement leur prix afin que le client soit au courant

Un excellent séjour ! Hôtel très propre avec un personnel toujours présent, à l’écoute et vraiment professionnel. Le service est tout simplement magnifique. My second time staying here, and I still love it. Sure, it's a little older, and worn-down in some places. Sure, it could use a renovation-though that would raise the prices... The friendly & super helpful staff more than make up for the couple of rough spots. If there is anything problem, the staff will swiftly and efficiently get it taken care of. Their breakfast buffet is excellent. The breakfast staff makes you feel like royalty, as well as a cherished family member. We also stayed the weekend at a very "fancy" hotel (of a well known hotel chain) by the beach, and the breakfast there was quite subpar. Es Saadi has spoiled us. The housekeeping staff are jewels, as well as the floor night staff, turning down your bed, if desired, and bringing fresh towels, water, or fresh roses after our late night check-in. Our air conditioner conked out one evening around 22:00- my husband went out in the hall, ready to go down to the reception, but the floor night staff was so attentive, that he had heard our door open and checked to see if we needed anything. He immediately called maintenance and in less than 15 minutes the problem had been found, and taken care of. I didn't even break out in a sweat- though Marrakech this June was quite warm. The pool staff- very attentive as well, and seem to know that you need your umbrella adjusted before you realize it yourself. So nice to be pampered. I also appreciate that many employees have been there for a long time. To me, this speaks highly for the management and employer. Are there more modern hotels in Marrakech? Sure. Will I still return to Es Saadi? Every time. Thank you to all the staff who made us feel so welcomed, and comfortable. We appreciate it.

We had such a wonderful time at Hotel Es Saadi! From the very first moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed in a way we have truly never experienced before. The people here are so kind, so genuinely warm and loving… it felt like coming home to family. Every staff member radiates hospitality. Nothing was too much to ask, and everything was done with a smile. We felt seen, heard, and cared for not just like guests, but like we were part of something truly special. The atmosphere in the hotel is magical: beautiful, comfortable, and at the same time, intimate. But what really makes this place unique are the people. We have rarely experienced such heartfelt and sincere service. It’s something we will never forget. We didn’t manage to remember all the names, but Loubna and Abdelrazak you, and your colleagues, were absolutely amazing. Thank you for everything! Hotel Es Saadi has truly stolen our hearts and we promised each other: we will definitely be coming back.

Attentive, eloquent and helpful front desk. There is an expansive breakfast buffet (by local standards), and I was surprised with private (valet) parking. Limited parking space, so it may not be a guarantee. Tranquil setting. All aspects of this hotel seem to be in line with their price point, I would recommend it.

Cons: My one gripe is, the coffee is of very poor quality (instant coffee). But, in Morocco I have not yet encountered a hotel buffet with good quality coffee. A minor point, really.

⸻ We had a lovely stay at this hotel. The staff were always friendly and really looked after us throughout our stay. The hotel was spotlessly clean, and we had fresh towels provided twice a day, which was a nice touch. There was plenty of choice at breakfast, something for everyone. The pool area was also well maintained, and it was great that they provided towels, so there was no need to bring our own. Overall, a relaxing and enjoyable experience — we would definitely recommend!

Le petit déjeuner, la piscine., la gentillesse du personnel a la porte d'entrée, au petit-déjeuner et dans les couloirs qui donnent dans les chambres.

Cons: L’accueil de la réceptionniste et des plagistes, que nous avons trouvé quelque peu froid, ce qui contraste avec le standing attendu pour un établissement de cette catégorie. La présence d’un cafard dans la chambre ainsi que l’état vieillissant de la baignoire. Une rénovation des salles de bains serait, à notre avis, bienvenue compte tenu des tarifs pratiqués et du positionnement de l’hôtel en tant que 5 étoiles. Le tarif de 500 MAD pour l’accès piscine d’un enfant de 10 ans nous a semblé un peu élevé.

Le quartier est sympa mais très très bruyant la nuit , les chambres côté rue c est horrible jusqu’à 3/4h du matin , et les fenêtres sont très mal isolées. c est vraiment trop bruyant même les fenêtres fermées … donc fenêtres ouvertes c est impossible de dormir .. pour un 5 étoiles C est dommage ! , Il faut absolument une chambre côté piscine minimum

Cons: Service: I would not recommend this hotel to families traveling with children. The staff seemed untrained and unable to provide helpful information regarding kids’ activities, family-friendly attractions, or general travel advice. Half Board: Before my stay, I was told that half board would grant access to all restaurants at both the Palace and the Hotel. However, upon arrival, I was informed that dinner was only available at the Hotel restaurant. One of the restaurants (Othello) explicitly stated they do not welcome children, and although they reluctantly accommodated us that evening, it was a clear departure from the information I had received. Food: The breakfast was extremely limited—identical each day—with very few options suitable for children. It certainly did not meet the standards of a 5-star breakfast buffet. Service Delays: Beyond the breakfast buffet, service was frustratingly slow. Every additional request took around 40 minutes. I once waited 45 minutes for two crepes by the pool—and still had to pay for them. Would you like help tailoring this for a review platform like TripAdvisor or Google Reviews?

W hotelu jest bardzo czyto, pokoje są codziennie sprzątane, na śniadanie jest baddzo duży wybór pysznych i świeżych produktów, lokalizacja hotelu jest badszo dobra, z daleka od zgiełku mediny i jednocześnie w odległości spaceru od niej.

Cons: Na bookingu brak jest informacji, że hotel pobiera depozyt w wysokości połowy kwoty całego pobytu. Uważam, że taka informacja powinna znaleźć się w opisie zasad dzialalnosci obiektu. Pozatym hotel ma ponad 60 lat i pomimo doskonałego utrzymania, łazienki nadaja sie do generalnego remontu (popękanie plytki, wytarta wanna i baterie).

Nous avons aimé la proximité du centre ville, l’amabilité du personnel. Le spa traditionnel de l’hôtel était propre et les soins de bonne qualité (notamment le gommage au savon noir avec Bouchra).

Cons: L’hôtel et ses équipements sont très vieillissants. Piscine petite et manque de transat en heure de pointe, le confort des chambres (oreiller non confortable, eau de la douche qui alterne le froid et le brulant), le petit déjeuner basique peu varié et de mauvaise qualité pour un 4 étoiles. Nous avions aussi pris cette hôtel pour aller à son restaurant l’épicurien et notre réservation a été annulé le soir de notre repas à 19h.

Arrived had to wait ages to get into the rooms. Pool and pool bar staff excellent. One member of Reception staff was rude and a little aggressive. I was asked to give my credit card details I told them I'd pay cash for anything. I changed money I was asked to pay the city tax. I gave over the cash and waited for the change. I asked for my change and the male receptionist threw the cash back at me and told me to pay cash. I refused so another receptionist took money form his own pocket to give me. Room attendants were great, however one female told us she was off the day we were leaving we did intend leaving tips for them on our last night. I assume as she got nothing at that point she didn't do the turn down or give fresh towels for the next day, which was the norm. This was my second visit to this hotel first time not great either but thought Id give them another go. Wished I hadn't

Je n’ai rien aimé dans cet établissement, il était nul à chier et par-dessus tout des voleurs des gros voleurs, j’ai donné 6000 dirhams et il m’a même pas rendu la monnaie alors que ça faisait 5800 dirhams. Ensuite je rentre à la maison et un nouveau prélèvement de 12,38 € sur ma carte bleue

Cons: J’ai donné 6000 dirhams pour régler la chambre alors que j’avais fait la réservation par carte bleue qui était d’un montant de 560 €. Le montant qui m’a été demandé 5800 dirhams, j’ai donné 6000 dirhams, ils ne m’ont jamais rendu la monnaie et en plus de ça arrivé à la maison, je m’aperçois d’un prélèvement sur ma carte bleue de 12,38 €. Ce n’est pas pour les 12 € mais c’est pour le principe. Cet hôtel sont des voleurs la personne à la réception, apparemment coutumier de ce genre de choses me rend jamais la monnaie au Client.

The hotel is located 5 minutes walk from GITEX convention. Checking in was fast, and the service was great. Room is a bit old style but large and has nice balcony. It was clean and they gave some water and dates on the first day. Breakfast was nice and European style with little Moroccan touch. The hotel is connected to the Palace where you can use the Gym and indoor pool facilities. Overall stay was great, large room and quite.

Je ne sais même pas par où commencer, tellement l’expérience a été décevante. Dès mon arrivée pour le check-in, j’ai été accueilli(e) avec une arrogance inacceptable, totalement indigne d’un établissement prétendant au standing 5 étoiles. Le service est à revoir de toute urgence : les réceptionnistes sont froids, hautains, et d’un mépris révoltant. À cela s’ajoute une facturation abusive de 300 dirhams simplement parce qu’une maquilleuse est venue me préparer dans ma propre chambre. Inadmissible. Cerise sur le gâteau : même en étant client(e) de l’hôtel Es Saadi, l’accès à la piscine du Palace vous est facturé 350 dirhams supplémentaires. Une absurdité totale. Je déconseille fortement cet hôtel. Le rapport qualité-prix est catastrophique, l’accueil est honteux, et le service loin de ce qu’on est en droit d’attendre d’un établissement de cette catégorie.

L'hôtel est idéalement situé à une dizaine de minutes à pieds de la place Jemaa El Fna. Le personnel est très professionnel et à l'écoute du client. Aussi très avenant et faisant preuve de beaucoup de bienveillance tout au long de la journée. Les chambres sont très propres et très bien préparées. La literie est très confortable. Le petit déjeuner est exceptionnel en matière de choix et de qualité. La piscine est très bien exposée. Large choix de transat qui permettent d'être toute la journée au soleil. Les appareils de la salle de sport sont de très bonne qualité. Je reviendrai sans hésiter dans cet hôtel. Je recommande les yeux fermés!

Beautiful resort hotel with amazing grounds and gardens. The spa is one of the nicest spas I've ever seen and the grounds and gardens are so pretty. You definitely feel like you're in an oasis when you walk on to the property. There are two swimming pools and both are quite large with poolside service. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable. And, breakfast is really good with a wide variety of items to choose from, including made-to-order omelets. We wish we could have stayed longer as we really enjoyed our time here.

The location of the hotel was convenient, in a walking distance from the noisy Medina and the souks. Breakfast was beyond expectation.

Cons: The 5-star hotel did not live up to its name in any aspect. It is worn out, badly in need of repairs and maintenance. The bed as well as the pillows were disappointing and unearthly uncomfortable. The staff at the reception was helpful enough, however some staff members during the breakfast were extremely rude with very poor language skills. Strange banging in corridors started quite early in the morning, not sure of it was the cleaning staff or other quests.

Such a beautiful resort. I stayed here with 15 friends on our study abroad trip and we had the most amazing experience -- the staff is incredible, the resort is beautiful, the food and drinks were amazing. I highly recommend staying here in Marrakesh.

We were a party of four and had a marvellous week at the Es Saadi hotel. The weather was perfect for these British people who came from a wet and miserable several months in UK - not that this was an achievement of the hotel! The staff were most attentive and our room seemed to be cleaned several times a day. It was always immaculate. After the first evening, when we ate in the Spa part of the hotel, we ate in the hotel's main restaurant every evening. The staff were first class and we were looked after exceptionally well. Breakfast was included in the rate and was alw3ays full and varied with eggs and flans cooked to order. The daily 3 course menu was always interesting and really well presented. We did go a la carte a couple of times and again the food was unusually good. We were surprised by the excellent Moroccan wine and they served particularly good value half bottles of Red/White/Rose which we much enjoyed. I imagine we will be back during the next miserable Northern European winter! The one and only criticism was that the hot water took a very long time indeed to appear in the bathroom, We tended to switch on the water and go back to bed for several minutes by which time the heat would have arrived. It was a very small price to pay for an otherwise woinderful week.

I arrived late at night around 1am. After a long travel , my first interaction at the es saadi hotel was with the guy at the lobby. I entered smiling and he had absolutely 0 bit of positive energy. He was not smiling and was giving me attitude a soon as i enteree. I even said hello and he did not answer me. Just looking at me waiting for me to talk. I started telling him i wanted to check in he asked for my passport. So i look for my passport and then i realize I forgot my passport at casablanca ( where my grandmother lives), and where i was coming from. I tell him that and he tells me he cant do anything for me. Like what? You just want me to get out of your hotel at 1am with luggage in my hands? Are you out of your mind? After a few minutes of ´negotiations ” he kept my ID ( from canada). Anyways he was just rude and im someone who gets affected very easily so it annoyed me for the rest of the night. The rest of the people are alright. Not super welcoming just alright. The food at the pool is disgusting. The burger was non-eatable. i paid but i didn't even take 3 bites. Frozen fries probably. The hotel in general is «  old luxurious » but i would definitely categorize it as a 4 star hotel. The good thing about this hotel is its location. Casino, club , shisha lounge, right in the backyard. You dont pay the club if you're from es saadi. I didn’t like my stay there i didnt feel welcomed especially after that interaction with that 1st guy.

L'hotel est très "classe", très chic, très bien situé au sein du quartier résidentiel de l'Hivernage, à quelques encablures des remparts de la ville. Le parc qui l'entoure est luxuriant et la belle piscine est chauffée.Les chambres sont assez vastes dotées d'un balcon d'où la vue sur la piscine et l'Atlas, au loin, est superbe, la literie confortable , la salle de bain bien équipée..Le petit déjeuner est varié, copieux.Le personnel est attentif.Un vaste centre commercial et de nombreux restaurants sont à proximité

Cons: La spa est une catastrophe. J’ai failli annulé juste avant ma prestation . Ils m’ont indiqué qu’il allait fermé pour travaux ce qui n’a pas empêché de prendre le même tarif. Il faisait très froid pour le massage, pas de parfum agréable pas de musique… vraiment je ne recommande pas.

De service en het zwembad. De kamer is schoon en wordt ook goed schoongehouden. Personeel is bijzonder vriendelijk. Roomservice was goed! Locatie van Es Saadi is top, veel leuke tentjes in de buurt op loopafstand.

Cons: 12 jaar geleden verbleef ik hier voor het eerst, toen was het echt pure luxe. Nu, in 2024, was ik verbaasd dat er eigenlijk vrij weinig aan het hotel is veranderd. Je betaalt echt voor de service, die super is, en de locatie in een modernere en duurdere wijk van Marrakech, want de kamer en het meubilair zijn zeer verouderd (en versleten). Nog steeds comfortabel maar zeer toe aan een update.

The location

Cons: You need better staff at reception. Some of the staff were unhelpful and rude especially at reception. We had moved from another hotel not far away (for the experience) and the difference in hospitality was vast. It was so difficult getting basic things done eg getting drinking water to our rooms. These seemed like a chore for the staff and almost like we were being a bother to them. While some of the staff were rude, a few of them were nice and polite especially the concierge. However I would not be recommending this hotel to others unfortunately as I think you can get a better hotel with nicer staff for the same price.

L'emplacement et la terrasse de la chambre

Cons: J'ai passé 2 nuits dans cet hôtel et je n'ai pas été emballé. C'est un peu cher pour les prestations et le service que j'ai reçu.. L'endroit me fait penser à un 3 étoiles à Mallorca dans les années 90, ça ne mérite clairement pas les 5 étoiles. Le choix du petit déj est ridicule, et à part une ou deux exception, le service était très moyen. Exemple concret qui termine mon séjour : au moment du check-out, 2 employés sont présents et sont en train de tapoter sur l'ordinateur, j'arrive, je dis bonjour et je donne ma clef. Aucune réponse.. Aucune réaction. Je me dis qu'ils sont en train de fini un dossier.. Mais non, ils avaient bien vu ma clef, car ils ont imprimé ma facture et me l'ont tendue, sans me dire un mot. Puis, quand j'ai sorti ma carte de crédit pour payer, ils m'ont tendu le terminal de paiement et mon juste dit "Le code" ! J'ai fais mon code, j'ai rangé la facture.. et j'étais prêt à partir. Vu le déroulement, je me suis forcé à ne pas dire "merci et au revoir" pour voir si eux disaient enfin quelque chose.. Et à votre avis ? Rien du tout ! Pas un merci.. Pas un au revoir.. En résumé, de tout le Check-out, je n'ai eu que 2 mots : Le Code. Et ça résume assez bien le séjour malheureusement.

Beautiful, clean pool, super service, very quiet, large green area with a tropical garden. The hotel is very beautifully decorated in oriental style. Delicious breakfast, freshly squeezed juices, eggs for every taste (fried, omelette), fresh vegetables and fruits. I highly recommend staying at this hotel!🥰

J'ai aimé la partie restaurant , la nourriture était variée et bonne. Les plats typiques marocains excellents. Le personnel de la partie restaurant était génial ! Tout comme le personnel de l'hôtel. La localisation de l'hôtel est parfaite, à proximité de tout !

Cons: Seul point faible de l'hôtel : la chambre, malheureusement trop vieillotte. Un rafraîchissement des chambres et des salles de bain serait nécessaire !!!!! Pour un 5 étoiles pas de machine à café en chambre, lit inconfortable..

On a beaucoup aimé le cadre général de l'hôtel. La suite était exceptionnelle très bien équipée et bien située au 5ème avec une vue magnifique. Le personnel très sympathique et toujours à l'écoute, accueil chaleureux au check-in et traitement professionnel au check-out. Les gens du restaurant sont super cool souriants et professionnels. Les gens du ménage sont gentils et toujours prêts à intervenir. A la piscine bien entourée des palmiers un air frais se fait sentir même en pleine canicule, top. Super séjour.

La décoration, la piscine, le jardin, le balcon avec vue sur la piscine,la chambre spacieuse, la salle de bain, le petit déjeuner. Un grand merci au personnel, de la reception, aux services de chambres, aux serveurs, au personnel du petit déjeuner, en particulier Loubna.

Cons: Le manque d'insonorisation, on entend le bruit dans les couloirs et les prix des consommations.

Cet hôtel est digne d'un 5 étoiles. Le.personnel est aux petits soins que ce soit au restaurant, à la piscine, à la réception. La suite était parfaite et très spacieuse Personnel de ménage excellent, une mention particulière à Safa qui a été d un professionnalisme incroyable. J'avais égaré mes lunettes et elle nous a aidé jusqu'à ce que nous les retrouvions. Elle est méticuleuse et a toujours veillé à ce que notre bébé ne manque de rien. Un grand bravo à elle et à toute l'équipe en général (y compris au personnel de voiture qui est top) La piscine est magnifique. La nourriture très bonne. Nous sommes ravis de ce séjour et reviendrons avec grand plaisir. Suite 505

Nous sommes des habitués de l’hôtel, nous aimons y revenir car nous retrouvons le personnel adorable et serviable, un jardin magnifique et un hôtel aux charmes anciens et agréables. Nous apprécions le bon petit déjeuner et l’emplacement idéal pour partir à pied en vieille ville.

Cons: J’avais demandé un lit double, j’ai reçu une confirmation et nous avons eu des lits séparés.

Have been going there since the 80's and the hotel staff always take great care of you, food is top quality and nice setting. The little down side was for a 5 stars hotel, to be little tight on providing water and coffee/tea in rooms. Once you finished what they gave you on day one, no re fill. Also, the pool was crowded with young kids, some time with no parents to see screaming.

Expérience superbe ! L’hôtel est parfait, il possède tout ce qu’il faut pour passer un agréable séjour : salle de sport, spa, boutiques, bar branché, discothèque, piscine, petit déjeuner excellent, service bar autour de la piscine… Le personnel est plus qu’adorable et à l’écoute, toujours à rendre service (Mention spéciale à Nordine qui a posté mes cartes :) et à Hassan qui a déposé des roses dans notre chambre). Avec mon amie, nous avons décidé de faire une semaine de repos ici chaque année pour bien démarrer les vacances d’été !! Que du plaisir !!

Das Personal war in der Regel sehr zuvorkommend, das Frühstücksbuffet war nett und vielseitig (keine Abwechslung). Der Pool zum Hotel ist ansprechend groß und der Service sehr zuvorkommend.

Cons: Die Zimmer waren leider, wie viele bereits beschrieben haben, aus der Zeit gefallen. Gerade das Badezimmer hatte Mängel und war nicht super sauber. Teppich im Zimmer ebenfalls nicht sauber (weiße Socken schnell dunkel). Leider konnten wir uns während des Aufenthaltes nicht so richtig wohlfühlen und würden das nächste Mal wo anders einkehren.
