Riad storico ma un po' buio. Ottima la posizione. Colazione ok.

My boyfriend and I had an amazing stay — everything was perfect from start till end. The location is great, just a 3-minute walk from the main square, and we felt safe in the area. Breakfast on the rooftop was delicious and plentiful — the perfect way to start the day! What truly made the difference was the staff — everyone was super friendly and respectful, especially Suleiman (apologies if I misspelled his name). He took the time to explain everything we needed to know about the city and was always there to help. When I got sick, he even went out to get me something since the kitchen had run out — that meant a lot. Unfortunately, we didn’t get to properly say goodbye to him when we checked out, as it was early in the morning and he wasn’t there. But we’ll definitely be back soon. The only downside? Our stay was too short!

The riad was beautiful, well-preserved and generally clean. It is located in a very busy area but surprisingly when you get inside the riad, it was very quiet and peaceful. The riad is just a few meters away from the Jamaa el Fnaa square where there are a lot of shops, restaurants and souks. It is also a few meters from the the main road so it is convenient to be picked up by tourist vans or get cabs. The breakfast was very good and generous - we love the yogurt and fresh orange juice. The staff was courteous and helpful and communicates well in English. Upon check in the staff made a brief history/introduction of the riad, which is 900 years old.

Cons: While the bathrooms are beautiful and clean, one had leaks and the other had the toilet flush handle worn out. While breakfast was very good, the breakfast area was outdoor.at the rooftop and it was very cold. While the riad was beautiful and clean, you have to walk through a narrow road which had garbage (either from the other riads or nearby stores) on the side and a bit dark too at night (although we were told that by the staff that the area is very safe and there are policemen dressed up as civilians).

The location is very near in Jema El Fena literally just walking distance frm the Square, Bank, and stores. My room is a little bit bigger for a solo traveller like me. The people there in the Riad were professional and very friendly. I had a chance to have a chat with them and it was a nice talk. I had a Pack breakfast ready on my last day as I needed to be early in the airport I really appreciated it.

Cons: Maybe the location is very near in the Main Square as well as in the Center of everything, I didnt sleep well on my first night there because im hearing people talking outside my window as well as motorcycle Sound in the middle of the night.

Amine from the reception was very kind and attentive. He escorted us to the taxi he had ordered for us early in the morning. Thank you for a pleasant time and we recommend everyone to stay herel.

Cons: We had a weak wifi connection in the room.

Traditional Riad building located in a classic narrow street, very well located in the heart of the Medina. Walking distance to a lot of the main city attractions. Far enough from the noise of the main streets. The staff was one of the best I've ever met, ever - super friendly and welcoming; very helpful with tips and suggestions, guiding us with a lot of stuff; not pushy; they even prepared us to-go breakfast boxes one day as we were on a rush; amazing! Very spacious and clean room, AC working perfectly and keeping the temperatures on point. Large and comfortable bed. Good traditional Moroccan breakfast served on this very nice rooftop with cool views over the Medina.

Cons: Nothing to complain, really. You're in Morocco, embrace the culture!

The location is excellent, 2 minutes away from the Jemma El Fna Square. The staff is really nice and helpful, trying their best to make you feel welcome. The price that you pay for this acommodation is perfect for what it has to offer.

Cons: The room was really small, there was a coffe table with broken legs that was unusable and was just clotting the room for nothing and the bedsheets looked like they hadn t been previously washed. Depending on what type of room you re searching for, I could say this is not the case for those looking for a luxurious one, but if you re looking for proximity to the souks/markets and good street food, this is the perfect place!

Close proximity to the Jenna el fna place, also good base for trips because tour drivers stop close to the hotel. Great transfer service, driver was waiting outside the airport and on time. Incredibly friendly reception staff. They were very flexible as we arrived ahead of check-in time and they were happy to keep our bags until check-in which allowed us to have a first wander around the city. Location is great, rooftop view is gorgeous and breakfast was absolutely delicious (stayed in 3 different riads in Marrakesh and it was by far the best breakfast, cooked on the spot for us with fresh fruit juice and delicious Moroccan delights. Room 6 was the best room and had a nice firm mattress which we like. Of all the places I have stayed in Morocco I think room 6 in this riad is the best value for money and I would stay here again.

Cons: We were a big family group and the rooms are of different quality, number 6 was great (and very good value for money), room 13 was nice but number 12 and 1 not so good. Towels were missing and took several requests until we finally got them - staff were very nice but kept forgetting. Sounds isolation is an issue so bring ear plugs (but it's an issue in every riad I've been in). Patchy wifi - whilst we were able to watch a film in other riads on Aymane it wasn't strong enough, which fine for holidays but if you are working whilst holidaying, not so convenient. Again, staff are really helpful so I'm sure if we had asked, they would have tried to accommodate any concern.

Very centrally located riad with big and comfortable rooms and a roof garden terrace where breakfast is served with a view of the bustling city. Hamid greeted is who is a delight, always pleasant and smiling! What we especially appreciated is that we could check in in the morning as our room was ready so we could take a nap after a very early morning flight before we set off to explore the city. Breakfast was nice and tasty with fresh orange juice and coffee. I would stay at this riad again, it's a good value for the price!

Staying at Riad Aymane was an unforgettable experience! The beautiful Moroccan décor, with its intricate details and authentic charm, immediately creates a warm and inviting atmosphere. The room was spacious, with very comfortable beds, air conditioning and a good shower. It was also wonderfully quiet, offering a perfect retreat from the bustling streets of Marrakesh. The location is excellent—just a one or two-minute stroll from Jemaa el-Fna, with various shops, ATMs, taxis, and plenty of places to eat all conveniently located on the way between the riad and the square. It made the riad the perfect base for exploring the city, centrally located and with everything you need close at hand. A true highlight of the riad is the rooftop area, where we enjoyed breakfast each morning. Surrounded by beautiful plants, this tranquil space was the perfect spot to start the day, with breakfast that included fresh juice and mint tea or coffee. For us, it truly added to the experience and the riad’s charm. What really sets Riad Aymane apart, however, is its exceptional team. Everyone is incredibly welcoming, friendly, and attentive, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere throughout the stay. A special mention goes to Hameed, the manager, whose affable nature and extensive local knowledge were invaluable, making a significant difference to our trip and ensuring it was truly memorable. For a quiet, convenient, and wonderfully managed place to stay in Marrakesh, Riad Aymane is an excellent choice. We can’t recommend it highly enough for anyone visiting this vibrant city! Location, cleanliness, and closely located to Jema el Fna and main street.

Cons: We booked 2 rooms for a family trip. However, they assigned them in different floors, promising to relocate us as soon as possible. One room was correct. The room on the ground floor was very small, dark, with oxidized appliances and blankets no one would like to touch. The second day they didn’t allow us to change rooms even though there were empty rooms, because “it had to be done in the morning “. We asked them to call a taxi to go to a restaurant, and the receptionist said it would be 200-300 DHM. It cost us in the street 80, without bargaining. All in all, we didn’t feel comfortable in there.

We recently stayed at this accommodation and it was one of the best trips of our lives. Hamid, Ismail and all the staff took exceptional care of us throughout our stay. Their hospitality made us feel incredibly welcome and comfortable. The accommodation was immaculate and spacious, providing us with a perfect blend of traditional charm and comfort. Every morning, we were greeted with a lovingly prepared breakfast that was both delicious and satisfying and have breakfast each morning with the great views of the Koutobia was amazing. The attention to detail and the warm, friendly atmosphere made our stay unforgettable. We highly recommend Riad Aymane to anyone looking for an authentic and delightful experience. Thank you for making our visit so special! It was not the first time we visited the beautiful city of Marrakech, but this time we were travelling with our two daughters and we were looking for a riad near Jma Fna so as not to be dependent on taxis as happens if you go to a hotel in the Hivernage area; for us cleanliness and safety are important points and this riad fulfils them. It was a pleasant experience their hospitality and to meet people who speak Spanish as well as French or English. For all these reasons, this riad has become our home in Marrakech. We had a wonderful stay at riad aymane. It is a beautiful property with a lovely courtyard and terrace. Special mention to Hamid who was very thoughtful and welcoming. Highly recommend!

I stayed with my boyfriend for 5 Nights in the Riad Aymane and we felt so welcome and wie totally recommend it. The Location in the Medina is so good, easy to find and just 3min from the big Place (jemma el fna). The riad and our room were exaclty like its described and like in the fotos, such a pretty patio and a great view from the rooftop. It was clean, some cracks in the mirror we dont care about. We could get the breakfast on the rooftop or in the patio, it was served per person on a tray, a delicious vegetarian breakfast with tea or coffee, freshly pressed orange juice, a small ‚yoghurt‘, honey, jam, creamcheese, small piece of cake and always three different components like Crepe, Pancake, egg, different types of bread. The reception is open 24 Hours, we arrived in the Night so we booked an Airport transfer via message directly from the Riad and it worked perfect. All in all it was great and especially the service (printing Boarding pass, secure the baggage at our last day…) they were all so kind and there for every stupid question.Thank You!

The stay was average

Cons: The rooms are very cold. Air conditioning doesn’t tea work (I have it on 30degree but we were using our coat for the night still). I have booked a luxury trip to the desert for 3 days and 2 nights. We were told to leave at 7-7:15. We waited in the morning till 7:50. A driver finally showed. We had to wait in the very poor van and finally departed 8:50am!!The trip was mixed with other travelers who paid between €60-80 which we paid €170 each! We travelled each day in the van for about 10 hours to 12 hours finally arrived the hotel at around 5:30pm. We were brought to a luxury camp hotel but not the one I requested in the email. When I mentioned this is not the one I booked the driver only said to me that’s what my hotel booked! He said to me he can’t change or we will have no where to stay if we don’t check in…. So we had to accept. After we were rushed to the camels (said about 1.5hr but actually 2.5hr) we were happy as its beautiful sunset. But it soon got dark and cold! After sunset. We had 1.5hr in the darkness and the temperature was about 1 degree! No one mention to us maybe get extra clothes… and 2.5hr in camels is absolutely torture!! We have a 70 year old!!! When we arrive. The camp was beautiful but cold like a fridge. There’s no hot water for showers not even for washing! We had my dinner with the other travelers (they eat the same thing like us) the food is not hot enough but average. After the dinner, there was a staff(maybe the boss) come to sell the second days departure. They tried to make us take their car back instead of camels. 800 for 4 of us! We rejected as it’s far too expensive! They told us if not we had to get up at 6am because camels takes 2.5 hours!!! But with car we can stay till 8am!!! I spent €170 *4 with long driving to see Sahara but we only had time for about 50 minutes in the camels and had to leave 6am!!! What kind of tour is this??? Absolutely ridiculous! The worst experience out of 21 countries I visited!

The staff was very friendly and helpful and assisted us in many occassions. The location of the hotel is near many sites but is also in a narrow street where taxis, or cars in general, have no access.

Cons: We had booked the Deluxe room, however the room was small, it had no closet (only a cupboard with one shelve),no working space or desk ( I had to use my laptop on the bed which was very inconvenient), no mini fridge, no hairdryer and no phone to communicate with the reception. We had to walk up and down two flights of stairs every time we needed something. The toiletries in the bathroom were not very good and we had to buy soap from the supermarket. Also, the toilet paper was very enough and we had to buy tissue paper to use. Most days the cleaning lady just left two bath towels in the room for two people and we had to request for hand towels. Breakfast was very basic to poor. It is not a Buffet breakfast. They just serve you small quantities of a limited number of choices. My daughter who is vegan had hardly any options, even though we had informed them of the fact. Overall, we were amazed that the hotel had received such high ratings, which was obviously not corresponding with the facts.

Although the breakfast was a basic Moroccan breakfast, as you would expect from a Riad, the staff went over an above to provide extras if asked. Breakfast was served on the roof top and views were great. Riad Aymane was smack bang in the middle of most tourist sites, a couple of minutes from El Fna Square. The staff from the management to the gent who brewed and served tea at anytime of the day (including midnight at the rooftop) were amazing. This is an ideal place to stay, if you want to an authentic hustle and bustle feel of Morocco. If not then, you can always opt for a typical western hotel. But where is there fun in that

Cons: The site lacked an iron, although, when this was brought to the attention of the management, they immediately purchased an iron for their future guests. I was surprised nobody had raised this previously. However, there was a laudaurette less than a minute from the Riad who charged 40p per item to iron (so ironing 5 items for £2 was a no brainer)

Short family break. Absolutely lovely weeks break we had here in September. The staff made my toddler son (Mustafa) feel right at home. This was a safe, comfortable and pretty Riad......like a home away from home. Fab service....lovely traditional breakfast on the beautiful roof terrace. Rooms are compact but perfect with ev thing you need in them. A.c worked very well and the Internet was good to even on the second floor. The staff Karim, Khalid Ishmaeel and the other young man with the scooter (sorry cant remember his name) are the most professional and friendliest people we met on our trip. Mustafa particularly liked khalid and karim. We have been several times to Marrakech but this was the most pleasant stay we have had. Thank you for making our visit so special!

I stayed in Ryad Aymane for a night. I’ve been other times in Marrakech and stayed in different hotels and Ryads. This is definitely the best stay I had in Marrakech and one of the best I had in Morocco since all my years of visiting the country. I arrived the night and at 2 am my father wasn’t feeling well and Khalid from the reception went with me on his motorbike to find an open Pharmacy and we drove for some time before finding it. It was so great from him. The next morning we had breakfast and it was a Moroccan traditional breakfast. Then I met Ahmed, amazing guy who was really welcoming us and we had a nice talk. Really nice Ryad, would recommend it to everyone. Top class service, cleanliness and security. Enjoy Morocco and Marrakech!

The staff was nice and really helpful. The room was clean and spacious with clean sheets and towels. The location is in the middle near the square and overall pretty quiet

Cons: The wifi wasn't working at the first floor at all and was slow also on the roof as well, actually the cellular reception was low everywhere in the riad so once entering there you couldn't communicate through the phone at all The breakfast was mediocre, only bread and coffee with some jams (and yogurt), unfortunately although I told them I'm lactose intolerant and they would bring some soy milk it was missing, ate some bread and that's all. A bit of shame and not worth the breakfast price, 1 night was 70 euros including breakfast.

Cons: The bathroom was a little old and tired. But for the price, and for what we needed, it was fine.

We had a great time. - The manager helped us with the parking which is notoriously difficult in the medina. He was a life saver. ASK THEM FOR HELP! They can point you to a specific parking place and make sure parking places don't overcharge you. - The staff was very kind, they offered us tea when we checked in. - Breakfast was very good, moroccan style, and we had it on the top terrace. - Our return flight was super early so they left us a take away breakfast at the reception, much appreciated. - The bathrooms were clean (although small)

Cons: - Mattresses were too hard for our liking, we think they can improve on this - There was a bad odour coming up from the shower drain, which was also a bit clogged up and the water went down slowly, building up at the bottom - The old style wooden doors were noisy and they lock using a metal bar and a padlock. I undestand they contribute to the moroccan atmosfere but we could hear the clanky noise of people coming and going from their rooms at small hours.

The reception member is Very helpful,24h when we need their help. Also the women how cleaned the room found my bluetooth and when i returned after two days in Marakesh and asked them if they have found anything they gave it to me direct.Only for these reasons for me is 5stars option.Very important to live in a place and to feel safe like your home.Even in Europe is very random if somebody find something to return it back to his owner.

Cons: Avoid the small narrow roads especially in the night but that is in general in Marakesh.Nothing happen most of the times.

The location was amazing, just few minutes from the Fna. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Very clean, very nice and the terrace on the roof is an amazing spot.

Cons: The only thing I would say it was confusing is reaching the location. It is not obvious to get there and maybe clarifying a bit more how to reach the Riad would be more helpful. Even the taxi drivers were confused :) I cannot mention anything else that was not good. Everything was perfect.

Riad Aymane is a beautifully historic structure built around an interior courtyard with a staff that pays attention to detail and works hard to exceed guests' expectations at every turn. The gorgeous rooftop garden, with its comfortable pavillion honoring local Berber traditions(which does double duty as a breakfast venue) and the Riad's stellar location in the Medina are the icing on the superb cake. You won't be disappointed; we surely weren't.

Cons: It is not often I get to say this...nothing.

The Riad is in a very good location. And the terrace is amazing, it has lots of flowers and a very nice view. Also, the welcome process is nice (they sit you down, give you tea and cracker and a map).

Cons: The Riad does not meet the 4-star rating. When you enter the rooms, you can see that they used to be nice, but they are pretty run-down and have not been renovated in a long time. Additionally, in our room (Room Nr. 9), there was mold on the wall and there was a weird smell. We asked the reception about it and they declined to change rooms or do anything about it. Additionally, our neighbors were very loud, but this is not the fault of the hotel. The take-away breakfast is barely anything (see picture) and the cleanlyness of the shower was so-so. All in all, this is an okay stay (if you don't get room Nr. 9) in a great location, but does not meet the 4 stars or the Booking.com rating of 9. There are much nicer hotels in Marrakesch.

The place was conveniently located. Very very close to all the great sites that Marrakech has to offer. The farthest places were like a 25 minute walk. Our arrival flight got delayed and we had arranged a pick up by the Riads car from the airport. The driver was kind enough to wait 2 hours at the airport for us even when he was fasting (we visited during Ramadan) and dropped us very close to the Riad where one of the staff members was already waiting for us to take us and the luggage to the Riad barely a few minutes away. We were greeted with a nice warm smile and a refreshing cup of Moroccan mint tea as soon as we got there. The staff was extremely helpful. They told us all about the places to visit, gave us a map and pointed out all the great spots to eat at and also to see. They were extremely helpful every step of the way. The breakfast was great on the roof terrace every morning aswell. On returning during the evening we were offered to some more tea several times free of charge. Mohammed, one of the staff members also helped me get a local sim and set up a very economical data package which would otherwise be very hard for someone who doesn't read arabic. 10/10 overall and would definitely stay there again when I visit next.

Cons: Everything was great. I have no complaints about this stay.

Fantastic place right in the center of Marrakech. 10min. walk to Jemaa el-Fnaa and Koutoubia mosque. Very close to the stop of most bus lines. easy access from the airport by bus no. 19. Very nice and helpful hosts, they welcomed us with hot mint tea, told us about the main attractions of Marrakesh, showed the best restaurants in the vicinity of the hotel. As we were in a hurry to get on the bus, they expedited the breakfast service for our entire group.

The Riad Aymane is perfectly located just 5 minutes walk to Djemaa El Fna Square, yet it's peaceful and the patio area remains cool even in hot weather 30°-32° degrees Centigrade while we were there in March 2023. The staff are very friendly and accommodating, for example they provided us with take-away breakfast on the two days we went out early for excursions to the Atlas Mountains and Essaouira. The family room on the first floor with two en-suite shower rooms was ideal for us, though the bedrooms are quite small. Rooms are cleaned and towels changed every day. Overall, it's a good budget Riad.

Cons: My suggestion would be to improve the breakfast by adding a selection of fresh fruit (oranges, bananas, apples, strawberries) and ideally eggs to the many sweet food offerings. Also, bottled water should be provided free of charge.

The Riad Aymane I cannot recommend highly enough, from our arrival on Saturday until today when we left, the staff go out of their way to ensure you have a perfect stay and are always on sight each morning to ask how your evening has been and is everything to your satisfaction, I need to give a special mention to Abdul and Khalid who are such a professional team and run the Riad Aymane like clockwork, they are also very humorous! The location is perfect as so close to the square and all main attractions with lot's of shops and restaurants less than five minutes walk with something to entice everyone! Breakfast is varied each day plentiful and delicious with a beautiful view from the roof terrace which is kept immaculately with lots of Mediterranean plant's in full bloom, and also a perfect location to watch the sun set! On your arrival you are greeted with traditional Moroccan tea and given a very useful map and tourist information to get you started on your adventures of the city, and where to get the best exchange rate for your currency which is a very short walk also from the hotel. Don't hesitate to book this hotel you will not be disappointed just ensure you have cash as the hotel only takes cash. Finally we booked a cab to the airport this morning with the hotel and they very sweetly carried my case and waited with us until the taxi came to the pick up point and waved us goodbye, just one of the many special touches provided as standard by this hidden gem. 😁

Cons: Absolutely nothing.

The riad location is super wonderful, it is walking distant to the main square in less than 5 minutes. There are many wonderful restaurants nearby and the price is very reasonable. The staff at the Riad is outstanding, especially Karim. He is always ready to help with any question you may have. I would highly recommend this Riad for your trip to Marrakesh. There are 3 levels (floor), so you will have the best decoration on the second floor (for US visitors). The patio on the fourth floor, where you have breakfast, has an amazing view of the city. Love this Riad, I stayed 4 nights in late Feb 2023.

Cons: I wish the Riad would offer a couple cups for bathroom to brush my teeth. I stayed in room 3, ground level, and it can noisy since this is where other guests gather in the evening and it can be very loud. Also there is no working table for my computer in the room since I worked remotely. The internet connection in the patio, 4th floor, is very weak to connect for work.

Very friendly owners, welcomed with moroccon mint tea, eager to help around the city. They organised a simple early breakfast and a driver when we had to leave to the airport early in the morning. For us, this Riad lacked a bit the calm charm that we were used from the other Riads during our travel in Morocco. Maybe it was because it was also the biggest and least expensive one that we stayed in. Anyways we had great hot showers even though the bathroom interior could use a little renovation/deep cleaning. The Riad has a fantastic location within the heart of Marrakech and has a great roof terrace.

Hasan was very kind and explained to us all the nearby tourist spots, he even showed us the nearby places to eat and the cash machines. He always had a smile on his face and went above and beyond to make the guests feel comfortable and homely. The breakfast served on the rooftop was delicious and freshly prepared on site and included traditional Moroccan breads such as simmin and begherir and freshly squeezed orange juice. Great location close to, but away from the noise of the main square. Friendly and obliging hosts who help with suggestions for places to visit and in arranging transport to airport. Roof top breakfast is nice.

Cons: Taxi cannot access the property directly, so there is a walk with suitcases etc. for the final steps - which is not far in isolation, but when arriving after nightfall, with a baby in a pushchair as well as luggage just made the arrival a bit tenser than we would have liked. Also as this is a house, expect to hear other noises from within the house, especially of doors opening and closing and in the ground floor rooms of conversations in the reception area. Be aware too that the property does not accept card payments - cash required!

Our family visited Marrakech in December and stayed in Riad Aymane. All we can say is that we had an absolutely great experience there and can recommend it full-heartedly!! The location is unbeatable; close to Jemaa el Fna, souks, local cafes, etc. as well as very convenient for going outside of Medina; room was very clean; breakfast was good. The view from the rooftop together with the sounds of the city are mesmerizing (especially during sunset when the muezzin calls for prayer). But above all it is the kind attitude of the staff, friendly and open, helpful and smiling, that made our experience in Marrakech more authentic, comfortable, safe and fun. Hassan, a big thank you again! (Dein Deutsch ist schon sehr gut! Übe fleißig weiter!) This was our first trip to Africa and we felt welcome and among friends! Greetings from Nina and Katja!
