Die Lage ist sehr zentral und trotzdem ruhig. Das Riad ist sehr schön mit Dachterasse. Wir waren in einem Zimmer im 1. OG. Das Bett war bequem. Die Zimmer sind zwar relativ klein aber völlig ausreichend, wenn man nicht viel Raum oder Privatsphäre braucht. Jedes Zimmer hat eine Klimanlage. Das Zimmer wird jeden Tag aufgeräumt. Alles ist relativ sauber.
Cons: Die Toilette ist räumlich nicht wirklich abgegrenzt. Das Frühstück ist eher etwas für Menschen, die Süßes mögen. Man kann frische Luft eig nur reinlassen, wenn man die Zimmertüre zum Gang öffnet. Alles sehr hellhörig und etwas finster (nur ein kleines Fenster zum Innenhof).

Beds were extremely comfortable with perfect mattresses. The room was modest but local style arranged with taste. Our room was on the roof which gave it a special climate. Heating was available. Water very hot and perfect to take the shower after December walk in Marakesh with moderate temperature. Be prepared on one particularity: there is no door between the room and the bathroom. There is a certain separation through the wall that gives intimacy.

La estancia en el Riad fue excepcional, los desayunos fueron espectaculares y perfectos para afrontar el día de turismo por la ciudad. La ubicación es ideal para recorrer a pie todos los puntos importantes, está a 15 minutos de la Plaza y es fácil llegar, una vez que lo haces, sin mapa.
Cons: No hay ningún letrero con el nombre del Riad, y la primera vez que llegas dudas de si será. Sólo hay que fijarse en el número. Está en una calle peatonal, pero la carretera está a menos de 1 minuto. El baño y la habitación están unidos, solo por avisar para quien quiera algo más de privacidad.

Der erste Eindruck war etwas enttäuschend, denn ich hatte bei einer Bewertung von mehrfach 10 und einem angemessenen Preis des Zimmers mehr erwartet. Das Personal war sehr freundlich, das Frühstück ausreichend. Das Bett super, wir haben ganz oben geschlafen. Die Dusche/ Toilette hat keine Tür. Die Lage war super, unweit des Marktes. Ein Hinweis an alle Reisenden, lasst euch vom Gastgeber abholen, denn den Riad findet ihr niemals allein, das gilt aber auch für die meisten anderen Riads in Marrakesch.

Construção mais nova, de muito bom gosto, bem decorado, iluminado, quarto extremamente confortável, com cama e banheiro muito bons, com todas as comodidades: bom Espelho, espaço para malas. O café da manhã delicioso e muito bem servido. Comunicação excelente e foi fácil encontrar a localização. Apesar de fora da Medina, fica em uma ótima localização perto dos principais pontos para andar pela cidade. O anfitrião ainda preparou o nosso café para levarmos, no dia que precisamos sair mais cedo para a aeroporto.

Everything was charming — the ambience, the quietness, and the location. The staff who look after the place were very polite and welcoming. It was heartwarming to be greeted with a pot of Moroccan tea after my long journey! They were so kind and went out of their way to make sure everything was comfortable. They even kindly helped me find a taxi when I left early in the morning. This small riad is a hidden gem tucked away in a quiet, unassuming alley in the Riad Larousse area. Cons: There’s not much counter space or storage space for belongings and luggage. Compared to our stay around Morocco, the staff is nice but not most helpful and warm. If you stay in the rooftop room (sky room) on the terrace level, be aware smokers are just outside your window, and you can’t easily escape from the smell if you are a non-smoker.

It’s located very close to the entrance of the souks, just slightly outside, which makes it wonderfully peaceful. The way to get there is very easy and calm, and we always felt safe. The staff is very kind—although breakfast officially starts at 8:00, they always served it to us at 7:30 because we had early excursions. This was my first stay in a Riad. It was a little hard to find for me but once I got the right place I was very impressed with how attentive the staff was. The view of Marrakech from the terrace was awesome and breakfast was way more than I was expecting.

The accommodation was excellent, with a lovely roof terrace and great breakfast. The location was great, just slightly away from the main throng of action, but easily walkable. The service was exceptional, including arranging a transfer from the airport and providing an early breakfast when I had to leave early for a trip. I would definitely recommend and this would be my first choice should I return to Marrakech in the future.

The bathroom door couldn’t be fully closed and could only be locked from the outside, which was quite inconvenient. The bathroom wasn’t completely enclosed — the wall didn’t extend all the way to the ceiling, which affected privacy.

My stay here was fantastic! I am a solo traveler and stayed in the gold room. It was the perfect size for myself. They coordinated an airport transfer to and from the airport that was smooth. The riad is down a little alleyway with an entrance throat doesn’t have a sign, but the host was waiting for me at the end of the alleyway to show me where to go. The breakfast each day was great and well-balanced. There were different breakfasts each day so you weren’t eating the same thing every day. It was within close walking distance to a pharmacie, shops, and restaurants it is also close to a popular pick up location for a lot of tours. The room looks exactly as photographed and the shower had great water pressure. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this riad!

Fantastic traditional Riad in the back streets of the Medina. Very welcoming and helpful staff, Fouzia and Kamal could not do enough to make our Golden Wedding Anniversary stay very special. We were presented with a surprise celebration cake at breakfast, Convenient for the main attractions, Souk and quality restaurants. The rooms are basic and compact but served our needs. Lovely roof terrace on which breakfast can be served. Breakfast was outstanding with traditional fare. If you contact the Riad they will arrange airport tranfers. We will certainly book at Riad Lumiere when we return to Marraketch.

I recently stayed at a lovely Riad in Marrakech, and I must say, it was a wonderful experience overall. The location was perfect – just a stone's throw from the Medina, making it super easy to explore the vibrant streets and markets. For the price, the Riad offered excellent value for money. The room was a bit small, but it was perfectly fine for a short stay, and it had everything I needed. The highlight for me was definitely the delicious breakfast served every morning – fresh, flavorful, and a great way to start the day. Kamal, the host, was incredibly welcoming and truly went above and beyond to make me feel at home. He even made Moroccan tea and coffee on request, which was a lovely touch and added a personal feel to my stay. The only issue I encountered was that the shower tended to overflow a bit during use. However, I’ve noticed that this seems to be a common issue in many places around Marrakech, so it wasn’t a major concern but would be great to have a fresh bathmat each day. All in all, I highly recommend this Riad for anyone visiting Marrakech. The location, service, and value are fantastic, and Kamal’s hospitality made my stay even more special.

The accommodation was excellent, with a lovely roof terrace and great breakfast. The location was great, just slightly away from the main throng of action, but easily walkable. The service was exceptional, including arranging a transfer from the airport and providing an early breakfast when I had to leave early for a trip. I would definitely recommend and this would be my first choice should I return to Marrakech in the future.

Amazing Riad! We contacted the riad prior to travel who organised for us to be collected at the airport for a very reasonable price! Great service, we were contacted on day of travel and driver was waiting on us. We were then welcomed into the riad by our wonderful host. Room was clean and fresh! Beds were comfortable, nice toiletries in the room and a hairdryer in the cupboard. The breakfast each morning was amazing and not to be missed! Riad is in a great location and we were able to walk everywhere to all the main attractions. It is easy to stop a taxi if required. The riad also gave us some great tips for onward travel. Due to there not being many reviews I was unsure what to expect but I was impressed! A proper taste of morroco!

Very nice hidden gem. Walk right into Medina. Couple of minutes walk to Bacha house and coffee. ( one of main entrance to Medina) unique experience to live in a local house with Moroccan taste. They serve 5star breakfast. Wonderful staff. Would decently come back. I stayed at Mariot at Fes. But this was more fun.

Attendants were great. Very welcoming and can give great advice about the city. Will definitely be back. I wish I know who’s there internal designer.

Kamal, the host, and his assistant were exceptionally accommodating, friendly, and always willing to assist. They went above and beyond to help us with everything, from providing an early breakfast to assisting us after checkout with contacting our driver and navigating the neighborhood. The riad itself is wonderful. The terrace, the traditional breakfast (which varied daily with different types of pancakes, croissants, and eggs/omelets), and the rooms were all excellent. The location is also ideal, located close to many of the Medina’s most interesting spots.

Overall good value for money. A very pretty Riad. It has a lovely rooftop terrace with different cactuses. Host was lovely and accommodating. Breakfast was sweet aBd colourful. I had an omelette most time. The rest consists of pastries, fruit, jam and butter. Excellent location with Bacha coffee and its museum just around the corner. Souk and other important must see are very walkable too. Tuck within an alleyway away from the traffic. Prayer from a distance could be heard every early morning. But I’m very happy with the stay.

Great stay at the Riad Lumiere, right in the central Medina in Marrakesh. We were greeted by Fouzia, and given some traditional Moroccan mint tea and sweets, before being allowed a slightly earlier check-in. The room itself was good albeit slightly small. Kamal was a great host for the last 2 days and went out of his way to make us feel comfortable. Originally the shower holder was broken, but Kamal was able to replace it within an hour.

However they warmly welcomed me and made me feel at home with mint tea and gorgeous biscuits. Daily bfst was enormous and sensational! Couldn't fault the location either, great proximity to the IG sensation Bascha Coffee house. Great Value for money, will recommend.

The perfect combination of tradition and modernity makes the riad Lumiére a little oasis in the vibrant city of Marrakech. Very close to the main attractions and top-rated restaurants, it makes for a stay that doesn't require the use of transport. The atmosphere is very relaxing, clean and the staff incredible (Kamal was an excellent host, always in a good mood, helpful and friendly!). Note 10 for the breakfast, which was always fresh and varied. Highly recommend :)

We stayed in 5 different Riads during our trip in Morocco. This one was by far the best in everything. The host was very friendly, the breakfast was really really good and we had 3 different options for the 3 nights we stayed here which is awesome! The room and riad in general was clean, the location is also great since it’s a super short walk to the medina. Can recommend to everyone visiting Marrakech!

Pluses: Excellent breakfast - omelet, hot pancakes, pastry, bread, butter, olives, jam, honey, cheese, yogurt, mint tea, coffee and milk. Served in a beautiful and stylish manner. Fantastic customer service - Kemal and Leyla « bent over backwards » trying to make us feel comfortable. They were super accommodating to our requests, e.g., they had to wake up early in the morning to serve us breakfast 1.5hr earlier than the regular start time. Location was quite convenient with major attractions in a walking distance. The bed was comfy. The air conditioner is modern and very quiet.
Cons: The Gold room was small and very basic. It had only a bed with 2 tiny side tables (just to put a glass of water). No wardrobe, no table, no chairs. The bathroom was not in a separate room, but just at the corner of the bedroom, separated by a half-wall, allowing the sounds and « aroma » to travel around. The wall facing the inner patio was made of glass. So we could either have privacy by drawing the curtains or daylight by pulling the curtains to the side but not both. The room is dated and needs an uplift.

I had a fantastic stay at Riad Lumiere, everything was really great, the riad and room were really comfortable and spotlessly clean thanks to Laila! The riad is stylishly decorated and had a very relaxed atmosphere, it also very quiet at night, no noise from outside. There was a big fresh tasty breakfast every morning served on either the patio or terrace. The location is fantastic, easy to find on a very quiet street, 2 min walk from the road so you can easily arrive or leave by taxi with luggage, its a short walk to all the main sights. The staff, Kamal and Basma, both were incredible, nothing was to much trouble for them, they really went above and beyond to make my stay perfect. I would 100% recommend this riad.

You must go on rooftop because there is cactus botanic garden, so if you love doing photo to plants, cactus this i place for you. The riad is absolutely beautiful and the staff are the nicest genuine and kind people. I absolutely loved my stay in Riad Lumiere. Breakfast was divine, bed super comfortable and reasonable value (I got it on a deal however)
Cons: As a solo traveller I got the room on the ground floor next to the pool. you can hear quite a lot and have to keep curtains closed when changing which is a bit of an inconvenience. the riad wasn’t full of guests so it was okay but if it was I woudnt have been happy with this particular room

Cons: The rooms are not soundproof and we personally found the mattress uncomfortable. Some rooms do not have a door separating the bedroom from the bathroom, which was not convenient in our case. However the staff was accommodating and changed our room as soon as there was availability.

The Riad was very peaceful during my stay, despite being fully booked with guests. The best thing about the hotel for me, was the management team. They were friendly, enthusiastic, helpful and also respected my need for quiet space to work. The Riad owners should take good care of that fantastic team who make their hotel a great one to stay in! I personally really likely the clean, Scandinavian influenced decor of the Riad. A nice fusion of Moroccan architecture and minimalistic simplicity. Everything was well kept too. The location is really good because it’s just between Dar El Bacha and Riad Laarous. Not too far into the derb to walk alone at any time of day & a perfect location for grabbing a taxi. There are even late night sandwich vendors at the end of the street, which was perfect for when working late. Breakfast was an absolute feast of every kind of Moroccan bread you can imagine - plus fruit, yoghurt and eggs for those who don’t want to eat bread. Good coffee too. My room was cosy but comfortable. I was on the ground floor and my room had big glass windows and doors to let in the maximum light (important in a riad as no windows on the outer facing walls). Plenty of lighting options which I appreciated. The toiletries provided in the bathroom were really nice too. Thankyou Riad Lumière - you were a hidden treasure and I will certainly be back!

The Riad was very nicely decorated, cosy and comfortable, not to mention spotless. The breakfast was abundant and very tasty! Mohammed was very helpful and had great advice regarding Marrakech and even walking me to my bus in the morning. The plug socket near the mirror did not work so this made it a little hard to get ready. The location is a little hard to find, especially at night when it feels a little unsafe walking back. I was followed twice by a local man who demanded money aggressively for "showing me the Riad" You are probably safer getting a taxi back which can drop you right by the alleyway entrance.

Riad Lumière is stylish contemporary Riad in the North West of the Medina. perfect location for exploring the souks and about 20 mins walk from the main square. the communal areas were deviated and furnished beautifully with the rooms more traditionally Moroccan. there was a simple roof terrace with chairs and tables. rooms have really comfortable beds with a hot water shower, toilet and sink. WiFi was perfect. the breakfasts weee excellent with a great variety of traditional and European food and drink. Our host Fouzia was amazing. she was so helpful and caring arranged several trips for us as well as making us lots of mint tea.
Cons: our room was a little small but perhaps that’s because i booked for 1 person and not two. A room with more space would have been good. the room didn’t have a tv but I was happy with that the terrace could have been better equipped and seemed a little neglected. but these are minor things.

Cons: Average breakfast, no variety of food, unfortunately. Mattress was too hard but the bed itself was good. I would recommend to bring earplugs with you as before dawn prayers are quite loud. Upon arrival we could find any indication of the Riad outside, simply go to the Google direction and call the bell at the house number 18. We wasted almost 30 minutes!

Cons: Adding a "Riad Lumière" plaque on the front door would help a little bit to find the place. We found it using the address provided, i.e. the house number and the street name. It's in a small back street, so just be aware that your taxi can't drop you off right in front of it (but it's only a 50 meter walk so no problem).

The Riad is super recommendable. The host is friendly and helps with all matters. The communication upfront was fast and also during the stay we were given many tips what to see and the breakfast was super yummy and with a big variety. The rooms are cozy and traditionally decorated. Definitely insta worthy :) also the little patio is cute. The transfer from airport went well (even at 2am). Also arrival and departure are super flexible and always someone there to help. They also make breakfast for you even if it’s before “normal” breakfast hour. The location is super close to the busy centre but you do not hear anything inside. Fro the Riad you can walk everywhere.

- The guys that work there are simply amazing. In particular Mohammed made us to feel home, he gave us suggestions on everything and he made everything possible to satisfy our requests.
Cons: Be careful not to book the room in front of the small pool. It has a wall of glass for the entire length of the room and the bathroom is not separated by the rest of the room.

At the arrival we were welcomed with a maroccan tea and some sweets, nice touch. The place is clean and the staff is very welcoming and friendly. The breakfast was the traditional maroccan breakfast but tasty and well presented. The best riad we stayed in for staff and cleanliness
Cons: We stayed in the ground floor bedroom, which is exactly whete reception and the pool is. at night or early in the morning you can hear everything. you cannot keep the curtains open as people can see from outside. No privacy. The room was also too small for 2 people

Wonderful decoration that reflects colorful Marrakech, good breakfast with different pastry options, very helpful staff and great location (walking distance to Dar el Bacha and Medina of Marrakech bazaar)
Cons: It is not easy to find the hotel as you access it through narrow corridors between buildings and there isn't any signboard. Just follow google maps and ring the bell at no 18.

The service was outstanding from the moment we got there until we left. On arrival we were served Moroccan tea and Mohamed gave us loads of tips on what to do and where to go. Nothing was too much trouble for any of them! When we were leaving they gave us a packed lunch for the airport as we were going at 4.30am and missed the breakfast. Mohamed was the best and the lady who worked there also I forget her name.

I like everything.. It's very close to central souk, all workers are very kindly, sincerity and intimacy.. Whatever you need, they are providing everything.. This riad are so otantic and very fascinating, you can swim at pool, while you are swimming at the pool, you can drink your coffee. Building is historical place and very special arctihecture.. Rooms have a special style..
