We stayed here with our 27 year old daughter from 22/11 to 1/12, all in need of winter sunshine! The hotel is very clean, welcoming and friendly. The reception staff are very pleasant and efficient in dealing with any issues. All the hotel staff are so pleased to see you and go above and beyond to make sure your stay is enjoyable. Great to have a shuttle service into Marrakech centre but similar would have been appreciated to the golf courses rather than having to book taxis! Food is very good on the whole especially the Moroccan evening. We would have liked the option of paying for different wines in the evening as wine offer is basic. The restaurant staff are amazing especially Hamza and Mohammed who took great care of us. We stayed in room 383 which overlooked the quiet pool and which was away from the bar area so was lovely and quiet. The hotel rooms were very comfortable, and were cleaned and tidied beautifully each day. Beds and pillows a little firm but fine. Our daughter shared our room but the ‘bed’ could have been more comfortable Pool area is beautiful with a choice of 3 main pools. Why not heat one pool with solar power as it was very refreshing (ie freezing) in November 🤪? The gym and spa close at lunchtime but not the indoor pool. There were no supervisors, CCTV or notices explaining the lack of supervision. This is an observation as a result of a bad experience I have had at my home gym/pool. Great team of activity leaders especially Kate who put us through our paces with a good programme of outdoor exercise classes. We did 2 trips, one to the souks (no guide needed) on the free shuttle and a day trip to the Atlas Mountains with a visit to a Berber house, waterfall hike and lunch included for £87 for 3 through ‘GetYourGuide’ app. Much cheaper than Tui. I would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a relaxing break in the sun!

C est pas la première fois, tout était parfait propreté, nourriture etc.. Une seule tache noir ( la réception)😔

Cons: Pour ne pas dire tout les membres de la réception - y a une personne ( il se reconnaîtra) qui fait vraiment tâche et qui n est pas à la hauteur de ce magnifique établissement et notamment son respectable directeur. J ai réservé 4 chambres via booking , et dés notre arrivée le jeune homme a montré une attitude irrespectueuse avec nous ( pas de politesse, bras de fer avec nous , manque de professionnalisme etc…) Jusque là, ça pourrait passer mais avoir l audace de bloquer la carte d entrée d une des 4 chambres via booking; je l ai jamais vu nulle part ( soit disant qu on devait absolument payer tout de suite, faute de quoi on n a pas le droit de rentrer dans notre chambre) à savoir que j ai effectué la réservation des 4 chambres ensemble ( preuve à l appui) et que une des chambres n a pas été débité. Je suis vraiment très déçu de son comportement, d autant plus que j apprécie la gestion de cet hôtel , mais cette personne nuit vraiment à son image.

Situated a couple of km outside the Old town but with a shuttle bus running during the day. A taxi ride back in the evening for approx 100 dirams. (10 quid) Very clean and tidy, plenty of staff keeping it neat and tidy. Noisy in the evening with no where to go if you like a bit of p&q. The hotel is open plan and the in-house entertainment is really loud. A bit Butlins. A fantastic array of different foods, with very good waiting staff. You certainly won't go hungry. Out door pools are very cold in November but the indoor pool is lovely and warm. Beds/pillows are really hard but you can ask for a topper I believe. Plenty of sun loungers and aqua fit each day. Good gate security and safe feeling.

We stayed at Tikida Garden 21-28th November, booked as a last minute winter break @ 6 wks prior. Couple in their mid 50's & 26yr old daughter. Check in was done online a couple of days prior to departure & as a result, we were allocated our room on arrival whereas others had to wait. We were in room 362 and at first thought this may be an issue as we were more or less above the bar / entertainment room & the first room after the lift but it didn't cause us any problems, the entertainment finished @ 11pm. Few times we were woken by other loud inconsiderate guests going to their rooms but didn't feel it was enough to complain / ask to be moved. Used the free shuttle bus to the market and enjoyed our experience. Book early it does seem very popular. We thought the food was very good, plenty of variety for everyone; salad, nearly every vegetable you can imagine, fish, meat etc. The only thing that did disappoint us was the lack of porridge on a couple of mornings, it was replaced with tasteless semolina but that was a petty issue as there was plenty of alternatives!! We visited the Al-a-carte restaurant on one evening, it was nice to have waiter service - a family did walk out mid way through without an explanation. The food was very tasty but rich & we enjoyed it. We managed to get sunbeds every day without an issue, we preferred the quiet pool & the temperature was lovely, between 21 & 27 degrees. The hotel and gardens were immaculately clean. We'd definitely visit again & probably in winter.

Birthday week away 21st -28th November .Temperature got up to 27° but dropping at night.I did go in the pool by the pool bar it was freezing. Always got a sunbed.Hotel was clean & grounds well looked after.There were different nationalities staying,we made friends with a Swedish couple.Staff very welcoming & helpful.No problems with the room,had all what you need,the bed was firm,perfect for me & usb socket right by it.Wifi was good.Found drinks fine & always found something to eat.We had the pleasure of DJ Dave the first night doing his set who was a guest.They put on what football you wanted to watch,3 different games on 3 tvs. Booked balloon trip with Muhammad next door to the hotel as it was much cheaper.We booked the free shuttle bus & got taxi back from the square.Roads are manic. Only saw 1 cat, Snowy the resident cat and heard a donkey from the room but never saw it !!

We had a great stay. 10 nights we came for heath reboot and relax. The food was great although often miss labeled. We had Great service from Abdelmouhaimin & Hamza both brilliant and very attentive. Also Anass in the bar always whitty and great Hair!! We joined in the Aquaerobics everyday in the small heated pool. Kate, Jess & Ahmed were great fun. We really want to come back in January for the same. The only negative really are the gym and pool times if your like me and like gym before Breakfast it doesn’t open until 9 I was told grumpily that I’m on holiday relax lol and even got told of for using the treadmill 5 mins early!! And if you want a warm swim it’s 11am unless you want to pay £15!! That’s sunning time lol.

We have come from a one week’s break and we had have a lovely time. The blue tui team are amazing and always around to help. They all work so hard and stay together also do the evening entertainment- quiz and music. Well done. During the day number of activities arranged via the blue activity app. Tui blu desk very well manned. Also there to help and advise on trips etc. They all go extra mile and make time with guests and ensure we having a good time Their manager also very good and extremely supportive to staff. Brilliant team work. Wish all the team do well in their new adventures next season. We had few problems with food - not lacked correctly and food ingredients not listed due to severe fish and nuts allergies. Our concern has been and understand not all food is cooked at hotel. Some items have to be sourced from outside catering. This is a very important aspect of food and some circumstances can be fatal. I feel this not taken seriously at the hotel. Most of the labels were placed incorrectly. Chips next to prawns. Scollops with potatoes and prawns was in vegetables section. All working stations should have their own actions separated. Most nights food was tasteless not enough flavour or sauce. Salad stations were the same and pizza and pasta no sandwiches. No burgers either. Breakfast was the same everyday. Nothing different. Not enough choice. No fresh juice bars To have a good mug tea instead of small cups. Forever asking refills. Proper water glasses. Have jugs of water on the table. Constantly getting to get drinks. Dinner or lunch or breakfast gets cold. It’s ridiculous. Shocking on our last day - we can’t understand why all the stops were pulled and to do RUI food survey. They had put on a show so the survey could have good results!!! 1. Parma ham out. Salad station with chef. Unbelievable desserts- lamb - chicken everything you can think was on the buffet. It’s not correct because obviously this was done for survey so customers can give them a good review. RUI really does need to do something at this hotel with food.

I booked the hol as a TUI package and flew from Birmingham and the check in girl managed to check my luggage in without putting on labels at all so my case didn’t arrive. I got here on a Friday afternoon and my case didn’t get here until Tuesday pm. The airport was also empty so how they couldn’t do their one job I have no clue. We got boarding passes printed at the airport, you couldn’t check in online. My boarding pass said 0 for luggage (only realised when my bag didn’t come off) and it was confirmed when my bag was found, no labels. I’ll be honest having no luggage ruins your entire trip, so watch them like a hawk and mix your cases up! You always think it will never happen to you, but it did! Anyway, the tui reps here are incredible. They literally bent over backwards to get my case here and were really kind and empathetic. They transferred me funds to buy new clothes in Marrakech and helped with where I should go shopping. It was a relief to know that I wasn’t funding stuff out of my own pocket. Cassie is an absolute credit to Tui and it is clear she’s very passionate about her job and her customer service skills are some of the best I’ve seen. Her colleague, name begins with an A, youngish male (sorry I don’t know your name!) also really lovely. It makes such a difference to a bad situation having great reps . The resort is lovely, really well maintained. Rooms spacious and cleaned well. It’s Adults only and it’s a mix of ages which is great. Usually we find it’s all elderly people so was refreshing that there’s other young people (we’re 35, we are young?) Also other guests are friendly, respectful and well mannered which is always a bonus. No-one rolling around drunk and abusive or screaming in the pools. Pools are nice and never struggled to get a sun bed. Also liked the evening entertainment which is mainly singers, karaoke, quizzes, the evening bar doesn’t lack atmosphere like most resorts we have been to. Drinks are fine and drinkable. Wine is fine and I’m quite fussy. The food didn’t offend me. It’s not amazing but for what we paid yeah it’s edible and tbf to them mostly hot. A bit repetitive, but no real complaints we have had much much worse. I’m saying 5-6/10 for food. I’ve been poisoned before from eating salad because I assume some places wash it in their water and you get sick. Ate the salad here, I’m fine and we’ve not been ill once. Food hygiene seems good. The staff are super cute and welcoming. They literally hug you and I’m not usually a fan of that but you get used to it and it’s quite endearing. If you happen to get a grumpy staff member you’re like ‘awe where are the hugging waiters’ haha. Anyway, aside from the case saga we had a lovely time and I would come back here for some chill time. Likely out of season where it’s cheaper as wouldn’t pay top dollar but more than happy for what we paid. Weather end of Nov 21-26 degrees. Sun is from about 11-4. Better than home but it’s not wall to wall sun, but it’s only 3 hours from the UK and was cheap.

Great lead up to the hotel through a tree lined lawned garden, lovely reception area, great vista looking over the main pool👍 Got to the room which should have been a garden view (we chose garden view for a more quite option), What did we get a view over wasteland and a pile of car tires and building debris😩 Went to receptionist, only option is to pay for a lot extra for a ‘pool’ view no other rooms offered (or available). Not happy at being asked to pay for nice view, l would have assumed that a reasonable view would be a norm! The original room (265) and l would suggest the room adjacent have same views, not what l expect for a so called ‘quality hotel’ I would give this hotel a miss if you get allocated these rooms👍

Overall, if you are looking to explore Marrakech with an all inclusive hotel, this does the job. *Went in Nov 2025 with temp peaking 26 degrees* **Group of 4 men aged 22** Positivies: - Very nice rooms and cleaners were amazing. - Although a small hotel, the layout was very appealing and calm. - Easy access to city centre thanks to included free shuttle - Can exhange money in hotel - Bar area was very nice with lovely seats Negatives: - Pool was honestly impossible to get into due to temperature of pool - Bar staff (only the females) would give nasty and dissapointed looks to us when we would order a round of beers for the group of 4 of us at once. - A La Carte was ABSOLUTELY below par. Ordered steak without the waiter asking us how we wanted it cooked and we were served extremley chewy steak. Waiters did not care for giving us drinks and would just take the already drunk cups without asking if we would want more alchool. - Buffet food had a limited selection of foof as well as low quality. Also, no snack bar for when the buffet was closed. - Same repetivie loud music at the bar in the evenings. - Very weak cocktails

This was my second visit to the hotel after having a wonderful experience previously, so I was really looking forward to returning. Once again, the staff were incredibly friendly and did everything they could to make our stay enjoyable. Their warm and helpful attitude is always a real highlight. I want to mention that I am an animal lover, so I don’t mind animals in general. However, I did feel quite anxious this time due to the number of cats around the property. They were often wandering through the restaurant while food was being served, with nothing done to gently encourage them out. In the evening, a cat even jumped onto the sofa next to us in the bar area. My anxiety mainly comes from a recent news story about a lady who tragically contracted rabies from an animal scratch in Marrakech. While I know situations like that are very rare, it still made me feel uneasy having cats so close in dining and lounge spaces. Because of this, I’ve given a rating of 3 on this visit. I truly hope the hotel considers creating more boundaries for animals in food and indoor relaxation areas, as it would make a big difference for guests like me who love animals but still want to feel safe and comfortable. The service remains excellent, and I would love to return again if this issue is addressed.

Hotel is about a 30 minute coach drive from the airport, this could have been less but for the horrendous traffic, honestly they are just mad over there, bike's, cars, taxi's mini busses etc, it was like whacky races. Hotel was lovely, with pristine gardens and pool area's, rooms were a good size with flat screen mirrored TV on wall, but only a few Chanel's in English; 23 & 24 were news Chanels, 38 was films in English and that was it. The staff were nice, nightly entertainment was good. Hotel was about a 15 - 20 minute taxi ride in to the town centre (Main Sq Old town) costing around £10 in the day and £15 at night or you could get the hotel shuttle service but you'd need to pre book. The only negative points was the food was quite bland and repetitive at times and no branded drinks from the bars, which for a Riu Tui Blue hotel was not what we expected. Would we go again, yes we would :-)

Arrived today. Lovely hotel with fast check in. Room and surrounding excellent. They have spent a lot of money refurbishing this hotel to a high standard. Staff friendly but oh my goodness food is the worst we have experienced at any Rui. We Visited taghazout palace in Jan this year and the food was outstanding at the same price level. Would definately not return. A real shame.

If you fancy a quick break away for Winter sun...definitely recommend this. 24-30 degrees across the week. The Hotel...nice, clean, tidy, not too big. Quite intimate in some cases. One main bar, one pool bar, two buffet restaurants - one of which served breakfast/lunch/snacks & the other dinner, however halfway through the week everything was moved to the main restaurant. One A la Carte restaurant. Staff...superb; very friendly...can't do enough for you, especially El Habib in the restaurant; Only exception was in the Spa...went to book a Hammam/massage & was left stood at counter for 10mins whilst 2 ladies behind it ignored us; ended up walking out & booking outside excursion for Hammam/Massage through Get Your Guide. Room (278)...spacious & clean thanks to Saida the housekeeper...really good job; On arrival was upgraded to pool view which whilst sounded good, was actually overlooking the outside entertainment area which featured karaoke etc until 11pm most nights. Being early to bed & early risers it wasn't great for us. Bed's are quite hard & unforgiving, and 2 singles pushed together. We did request a softer mattress if possible, and/or a topper & they did oblige to both although didn't notice much difference in the mattress. Food was pretty decent...typical buffet hotel food on a 7 day rotation...Moroccan evening on a Thursday. Always something available to eat during the day somewhere within the hotel. Word of warning...you get one visit to the A la Carte restaurant...it gets booked pretty quickly so get in early. Pool area...beware the pool isn't heated so is a bit of a shock to the system...a bit like cold water therapy. Once you're in and aclimatised it's great. Plenty of sunbeds & Cabana's...usual suspects putting their stuff out at 6-7am but still plenty to go round. Music around the main pool area a bit age inappropriate...too much banging house music for too much of the day...could do with chilling it out for a while as well. Only the one pool bar and it is not very central so can be a bit of a walk if you want a drink...depending where you situate yourself of course. Pool bar staff were really good as well. There are a few activities going on run by the Tui animation team...all the usual suspects such as darts, tennis, table tennis, bingo, quizzes & nightly entertainment. All in all a good week away for some winter sun to recharge the batteries.

Cons: On arrival there was no room available . I had booked a year previous . A room was not found they wanted to send me to another hotel and they found that perfectly acceptable. I was travelling alone and meeting a friend at the hotel . I refused to move and after 2.5 hours of discussion I stayed in my friends room . I had no further communication with the reception team despite writing a 2 page complaint . I am waiting for a refund and an apology for 1 night . Unfortunately that bad experience overshadowed our stay .

Having written over 100 reviews, I hope you will accept that this particular review is an honest assessment. Firstly, the Hotel is situated in an obscure and poorly maintained area - some distance from any worthwhile places (or shops, restaurants etc). Once through the entrance things improve dramatically, with grounds that are immaculately maintained. The reception area is similarly impressive - and staff were attentive and polite. Having booked directly with Riu, we would have expected our small (emailed)request for a quiet double room on a high floor to be facilitated. Perhaps not - instead, a room on the ground floor, with single beds was our lot! Back to reception, and impressively soon moved to a double room on the first floor! To be fair our “superior “ room was just fine - a bit dated, but had everything we needed. The very unusual pool layout suited us very well. A great mix of beds and cabanas, albeit the water was cold enough to wake you up, thats for sure. Surprisingly there are only two bars - at either end of the complex. Drinks were, in my opinion, poor - with limited choice and no premium brands (which we would have been happy to pay for). The staff were all efficient, but the frequent shout of “next” were hardly classy! On the food! We have stayed at all inclusive hotels around the World - and know not to expect top nosh! Well - and this is simply our opinion - the offering here was very, very poor. Without detailing too much, suffice it say that we ate outside the hotel three times in the week we were there. Simply not good enough is my honest opinion. Finally, it astounds me that trips run by Tui are so expensive. We did a balloon trip (which was a fantastic experience ) and paid £95 each, including a taxi transfer, breakfast and a great one hour balloon ride. The virtually exact trip booked through Tui was almost double that cost! I suggest you do some research before you book the easy way! All in all, we enjoyed our break - but would we return- perhaps not!

Our first time to Morocco, Location of the hotel is great, 20 minuet bus drive from the airport. Upon arrival with their being a bus full of us they was very efficient and supplied welcome drinks which is very much a RIU thing as we travel to RIU hotels regularly. The atmosphere in the hotel was amazing so relaxed with great staff! They was always cleaning and making this hotel look beautiful. The gardens were stunning, the cleaners always made our room lovely! My only real negative was that the RIU app never really got looked at by the staff! It was our first wedding anniversary and I made sure to note this on the app nearly a year in Advance so that they could address the room up or give us some sort of special congratulations as hotels I’ve stayed in the past have provided something. Especially with this being a RIU, food was great only struggled 2 nights out of the week one night on the garla seemed to be lots of shellfish in which me and my wife aren’t a fan. The Moroccan night was also a struggle I love Moroccan food but this wasn’t great sadly. The drinks were okay and tasted good. This hotel is a little lost being a RIU TUI mixup and not a dedicated one or the other still found this to be lovely. This was a very peaceful holiday and we will definitely come back! The sound proofing wasn’t very good, neighbours with tvs could be heard through walls and same for people moving around in their rooms, being woken up most mornings at half 5 due to birds singing outside the room of 442 was very loud and the door didn’t seem to block any noise maybe another door near the bedroom would be good to try reduce the noise a little? All in all, lovely hotel I’d definitely say to friends it’s worth a visit!

Holiday all done and we’re back home in “sunny” England! We just wanted to share our thoughts on our stay at TUI Blue Tikida Gardens. In short — WOW! We stayed for a week and honestly, the hotel was close to perfect. The staff, the facilities, the rooms — everything was exactly what you’d hope for, and for the price we paid, we were extremely happy. The staff were incredibly friendly and couldn’t do enough for you. A special shoutout to Yassmine for the amazing service — he really made us feel special throughout our stay! Our room was clean and spacious. The beds were comfortable and the cleaners did a brilliant job every day. We did have some rather noisy neighbours upstairs, but hey — that’s just one of those things! The pools were definitely on the cold side, but the pool areas themselves were beautiful. There are plenty of activities, music, and a great atmosphere — perfect for us. There’s also a quiet pool if you prefer a more chilled vibe, which looked lovely too. Being a gay couple, we were a little apprehensive about exploring on our own, so we decided to stick with TUI-approved excursions — and we’re so glad we did! We tried the desert quad experience and it was a real highlight. It lasted just over half a day and everything — from the guides to the activities — was fantastic. We’d highly recommend it! Food-wise, my partner is a picky eater, so he sometimes struggled to find something to his taste. I, however, loved it! Everything felt fresh and tasty, with a good selection each mealtime. I managed to try something new every day! As for the drinks — also very good. While nothing was branded, there was still a nice amount of choice. Once we found what we liked, we stuck with it — highly recommend the “Love on the Beach” cocktail 👌🏻 Overall, we honestly couldn’t recommend this hotel enough. We would definitely return!

Great resort. Immaculately clean resort and rooms. Staff friendly. Loads of seating for evenings in the bar etc. Food was very good with some days being excellent. Huge dressed salmon, so succulent. Pan fried prawns amazing. Beautiful gardens. Only two things I would change. Sun loungers desperately need mattresses. Shuttle bus drop at main square not at their other hotel as it made walking too much adding the to and from the pickup/dropoff if you have been walking around.

Just got back from Tikida Gardens after an 11 night stay. The hotel is do clean and the food was lovely. The staff couldn't have been more helpful and would like to mention José the animation guy he ever stopped and was always smiling also Amal. Mohammed and Hicham at the pool bar they couldn't do enough for you. Sorry I can't mention everyone but I would go on forever. We had a room overlooking the quiet pool which was perfect.rhe only negative is that people were putting towels down on beds at 5.30am and the hotel was a bit far out of town but there is a shuttle bus

What an enjoyable holiday we had here for 14 nights in September. Any concerns we had before we left disappeared. Staff are so lovely.... our first time at this hotel and we still got lots of hugs. Special mentions to.... Hafide for keeping our room so clean. To the lovely Nouhaila and Hajar, on the front desk ... so professional and go the extra mile. To Ali, the photographer... lovely man and precious pics for us.... glad we booked him. In the dining rooms to, Abdellatif in the Culinarium; Khadija so lovely and attentive....... always smiling Salma who always cut me a smaller portion of M'semen, a diet request!!!!!...........young Hamza, who I know has now left to resume his studies and we wish him all the best........and to the again always smiling Omlette man, now he makes excellent omlettes , an important job to us. And finally a very special mention to 2nd Chef- Rachid, who when i asked about a certain fruit went out of his way to source one and present us with a special treat..... very appeciated. So it's a very well done to all the staff here for an excellent experience and holiday. We hope to see you all again.

Such a lovely hotel, good location, decent entertainment, beautiful pools and friendly staff. The big downside for us was the food, which was repetitive and very bland. We had to resort to pizza every day as this was the only decent thing on offer, and even the salads were tasteless. This was very disappointing as the hotel itself was great, but we wouldn't return as we like to eat nice meals. Hunger is not good on holiday!

We enjoyed a fabulous week here. The staff all seemed genuinely happy and proud of their work despite what seemed to be very long hours. The food was of a good standard and the cleanliness of the hotel was excellent. The pools (whilst chilly against hot skin) were great and the areas around sun loungers were cleaned daily. The hotel was pretty full when we visited but didn’t feel busy or crowded. We will be back for sure!

Cons: Notre réservation pour le Riu Tikida Garden via Booking.com s'est transformée en un véritable cauchemar dès notre arrivée. Nous avions spécifiquement choisi le Tikida Garden pour son ambiance "Adult Only", une caractéristique essentielle pour nos vacances. Cependant, après un long voyage, la réception nous a purement et simplement imposé de quitter l'établissement pour nous rendre au Tikida Palmeraie, sans aucune explication claire et en nous demandant de payer notre taxi. Le comble : on nous a même suggéré de revenir le lendemain pour "potentiellement" avoir accès à notre chambre, sans aucune garantie. Arrivés au Tikida Palmeraie, la réception n'était même pas informée de notre venue, ajoutant au stress et à la confusion. Nous avons finalement été logés dans une chambre présentée comme une "suite". Si la taille était au rendez-vous, ce n'était pas un critère de choix pour nous. Fort heureusement, la literie s'est avérée bonne et l'endroit calme, ce qui nous a poussés à rester sur place et à ne pas prendre le risque de retourner au Tikida Garden sans certitude d'être bien reçus. Cette décision, prise sous la contrainte, nous a fait perdre l'avantage "Adult Only" tant recherché, le Tikida Palmeraie étant bien plus bruyant en raison de la présence de nombreux enfants. C'est scandaleux de constater comment une réservation effectuée via Booking.com peut être traitée de la sorte par le groupe RIU, forçant les clients à accepter une solution de remplacement qui ne correspond en rien à leurs critères initiaux. Cette expérience a gâché le début de nos vacances. Il est impératif que Booking.com et les hôtels RIU revoient leurs procédures pour éviter ce type de situation inadmissible à d'autres clients. Très déçus par cette gestion lamentable et le non-respect de nos choix de réservation.

I have just read a few of the negative reviews. The hotel is an all-inclusive so the food does get a little repetitive. For the price you pay it is not an issue. The special restaurant which you need to book early (no extra but only 1 visit per stay) is expertly handled by Abdelouhad. Such a nice guy! All of the staff are ultra friendly and will do anything to help. The entertainment finishes at 11pm so if you want to go to bed before then, then maybe you should have booked an apartment instead of a hotel. Quizzes, table tennis comps, etc are available and normally run by Jose who seems to be running eveything! 😂Their is a quiet pool if you do not want music on poolside. Speaking of pools this is my only negative. The pools are FREEZING! 🥶 They need to be heated at this time of year. Their are great trips to go on. We did the quads, camels and air balloons. Would definitely come back.

Our room was on ground floor and quite near to reception/bar area. Entertainment finished at 11pm which suited us as not too noisy. Food is okay but not amazing, Breakfast best meal of the day. Drinks were disappointing - no branded items and must alcoholic drinks felt weak. Overall a pleasant stay but more 4 star than 5 star in my opinion.

This has been a disappointing stay at the RUI this is not our first holiday Marrakesh. Room beds are hard lumpy and uncomfortable, no tea/ coffee making facilities. Room is far from main reception. The smell of sewage contamination constantly Food is not great, much is much the same for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Last 2 nights went to be hungry. Recycle food, flys and clearly food might have wrapped in fridge Not advise staying here much better hotel in Marrakesh. Tui are not support, thank god for the sunshine as I might have gone home

Visited in August and the weather was fantastic. The rooms were cleaned every day. The staff were friendly and helpful. The choice of drinks was good but my son is Diabetic so got a bit fed up of Coke Zero every day. The food was good but felt that there could have been more choice, especially more local dishes. We never had an upset stomach as we maintained good hygiene. We never used the shuttle bus so can not comment on this. Sunbeds were taken quite early but there were some left. Entertainment was good. They had a great choice of activities on offer during the day and we enjoyed the Tagine one. Was about 15 minutes from Marrakech and we got a taxi in there, that was an experience. Even though this is a RIU it was not on a level with the last one we stayed at. Would definitely go back if we got a holiday at the right price.

We stayed here for a week at the beginning of October, it's location is ideal as it is only about half an hour from the airport and a short taxi/shuttle bus ride into Marrakech itself. Check in was quick and easy with a lovely complimentary drink while you wait. We were shown to our room by a porter who took our luggage for us, we didn't have any money changed at this point but he isn't exact a tip, it was all part of the service. We had emailed the hotel to request a quiet room on the upper floor over looking the quiet poo and that is exactly what we got, room 451. The room was very clean and the maids keep it this way for the whole of your stay. There are tea and coffee making facilities and these are topped up daily but you can get tea bags from breakfast if needed. We took a little bottle to breakfast and filled it with milk to keep in the fridge. Our fridge was very good and kept things very cold but we did hear other guests claim theirs was not very good. There is a TV built into the mirror but we didn't use it. We found the air conditioning to be very good but we belive not all the rooms are as lucky. There is a free safest deposit box to use too, this is keypad locking rather than a key. There is ample storage for clothes and belongings so you don't have to feel like you have a messy room. All rooms have a balcony or terrace and these are large enough to be able to sit and relax. There are 4 pools to choose from but we mainly stayed by the quiet pool as we don't like loud music and like to completely relax in the peace and quiet. The only negative about the pools is the reserving of sun beds before 6am every day, we even saw people sitting on them at this time in the dark! We always managed to find a sunbed just not in the prime locations that get all day sunshine. The breakfast and lunch is served in one restaurant, don't go expecting a full English breakfast, there is plenty of choice available so you don't go hungry. The evening meal is in a different restaurant and again there is plenty of variety available but for those less adventurous there was always pasta and pizza available. The staff in all the restaurants are very attentive and friendly. You get one visit to the culinarium during your visit and we do recommend trying this but it's advisable to book when you 1st arrive as it gets booked up quickly. At reception you can book the tennis courts and you can also exchange GBP to Moroccan Dinams. We would recommend little and often as its a closed currency and you can't change it back once you leave. There is an ATM in reception that you can use. There are only 2 bars, the pool bar for during the day and Zanzibar that is open all day until closing. We took large plastic glasses with us, which they are happy to fill as they use small glasses during the day and night. The staff in the bars are very friendly and always trying to entertain. Speaking of entertainment it's not the greatest unless you like cheesy hotel entertainment. It's not our thing so we usually stayed in the bar and sometimes took a couple of drinks back to the room to enjoy on the balcony. Would recommend not booking any trips with TUI as they are much cheaper with Mohamed Chop, his shop is just outside the hotel to the left. Tipping is a thing here but we always choose to leave this until the end of our stay, we didn't feel we were treated any different by doing it this way. If you do choose to tip as you go the staff will be super attentive but nit much more so than they were with us. We tipped in local currency but they will accept GBP or Euro. We would recommend downloading the TUI Blue App as this gives you all the information needed for your stay. A great stay here and met some great people, we would come again, the only reason for marking this hotel down is the sunbed wars. They really do need to address this.

Just returned from two weeks at the Riu Tikida Gardens in Marrakesh. It was a lovely hotel. The staff were very attentive and the rooms were very clean and tidy. There are always sunbeds available, but if you want a particular one, like a Cabana Bed by the pool, then you need to be down there before 6am, as beds cannot be reserved before 6 and any towels left on beds before this time can be removed. Luckily my wife is an early riser so we managed to get the bed we wanted most days. The food was nice (especially breakfast) and the waiters were very friendly and helpful. The drinks are what you would expect from an all inclusive resort - i.e. OK but not brilliant, but what stands out for this place is the weather. We were there 29 Sept - 13 Oct and the temp only dropped below 30 degrees C on one day. A lot of people have said the pools are very cold, but I found them refreshing and by lunchtime, quite warm. The entertainment staff were very good and engaging, especially Jose, Laura and Tomas. My only real critiques would be that, despite having a volleyball court and 5 a side football pitch, they were never on the programme. Jose explained that this was because, due to the heat, there wasn't much take up for them, but it would be nice to put them on once a week just to see if the latest cohort of guests would be keen. The other small gripe is Gym opening times. When I'm on holiday I like to go to the gym first thing in the morning (before breakfast), but the gym here only opens from 9 - 1pm and 3 - 5pm. Judging by the number of people I met running around the grounds in the morning, I think this would be a popular choice. As for excursions, I really enjoyed the 4x4 trip to the higher Atlas Mountains. Very informative guide, and the views were stunning. We also did the half day history tour of Marrakesh where you got to see some of the main sights of the city with another very informative guide. They also do a whole day trip which is on at the same time, but the afternoon involves having a local meal and then more time spent walking around the Souks. I was glad to get back on the bus as two hours of Souks in the morning was enough for me. Word of warning, make sure you take water with you, comfortable shoes to walk in and be fit enough to be walking and on your feet for 4 hours. We had a couple of people on our tour who were really struggling with both the heat and the fitness required, which slowed things down quite a bit. Overall, this is probably the 2nd best Tui Blue hotel I have stayed in, and if I did ever visit the same one twice, I would choose this if I wanted guaranteed good weather and a chilled out resort.

Myself and my mum took a 5 day trip here recently & we loved it. Every member of staff were friendly, helpful & happy! We were in the ground floor room 326 facing the jacuzzi & activies pool. The rooms were clean, modern & a good size. When I first sat on the bed, I thought it might be a little too firm, but I slept like a baby! The food was delicious & good quality with there being plenty of it. After breakfast, lunch & and dinner, we were always full. We never went hungry! The only cocktails I liked were vodka sun & love on the beach with my evening drink being a gin & tonic all made to a decent strength. The pools were beautiful but very cold! I wasn't brave enough in the mornings, but come the afternoon when it got to 33 degrees I was in & found it very refreshing. We usually got to the pool atound 9 - 9.30 & there always are plenty of sunbeds free This hotel is a perfect chill out hotel & I'd certainly recommend it.

My husband, myself and both daughters absolutely loved thi hotel and have started to check out when to return. We had a fabulous holiday, my husband and younger daughter did the trip into the Atlas Mountains and had a great time, we all did a balloon flight which was loved by everyone, The food was a challenge for my husband as he isn’t good with food he can’t identify but he managed. My issue with th food was that the written signs at each dish were quite small and most times I couldn’t read them both g Daughter loved the food overall a good time was had by all a huge thank you the staff who went over and above particularly our lovely breakfast waiter we couldn’t read his name badge so he just said you can call me Abdul also our lovely waitress I think her name was Aurua they were alll so helpful and friendly apart from the luggage porters in reception they were grumpy at the weight of our bags and insisted we stored them out back then got ever grumpier when they had to get them out and them stood there cheekily expecting a tip, I am a generous tipper but in this case they wound me up so much I told my husband he could whistle for it. But the lovely security guard on the door who helped us with our luggage got a good tip a shame as everyone else o. The staff were so lovely helpful and smiley. Won’t put me off coming back though

We were looking for an adult only resort, outside of the hubbub of the city so we could experience the assault on senses in the Medina, and retreat to a sanctuary of relaxation after. The Riu Tikida got some of it right... Check in was great, swift, help with luggage was at hand and the room we were shown was excellent. We'd asked for a quiet room and honestly, couldn't fault this. At no point were we disturbed by cleaners, corridor noise... nothing! Yes, the mattresses are a little hard, but everyone has their own preference. Food - breakfast was disappointing; it was the same every day. The omelettes were fresh. All meals are buffet service (apart from the A La Carte dining). Dinner was good, there was nothing remarkable, but it was all good. We took advantage of the one night offer to dine A La Carte in the separate restaurant. Everyone arrives for the same seating time (two seatings per evening) - you have to order all three courses in one go, there was an absence of atmosphere and the waiting staff were clearly watching football and running to check their screens and shouting when there was a goal. It was an experience, but we wouldn't eat there twice. The pools are clean. Some say the water is cold -it's all relative! However, sunlounger wars are real! The hotel almost encourages it by putting up signs to say you can't reserve a lounger before 6am. We didn't participate and could, at some point in the day, get a lounger usually around the quiet pool (suited us perfectly!). The problem though, was that the hotel couldn't cater for the number of guests and didn't have enough beach towels (that you also, incidentally have to hand in at the end of every day and can't collect again until the beach hut opens the following morning, and yet, all the sun loungers are gone by dawn... go figure!) so we were sat waiting for a towel before we could hunt for a bed.. Rumour has it that those who tip the staff, receive towels, sunloungers, more attentive waiting staff... Just a rumour... The location is great and the hotel puts on a shuttle to / from the Medina. This works great and would totally recommend doing it. Make sure you read up on how to manage the Medina - don't be fooled - the monkey on your shoulder will cost you to have it removed and if the street is closed to prayer but you can be guided another way, it will lead to you being asked to pay to hear the untruths. So Marrakech - glad we visited; staying at a Tui Blue was a safe way to experience it, but Tui Blue has far better properties (Tui Blue Seno Gardens in Turkey one of the best!) , albeit, Riu Tikida is clean, calm and friendly.

We arrived on the 15th of September at this amazing Hotel, this was our 6th visit, we did not get the room we had been promised but were moved the next day to another one. The hotel is outside of the town center they do run a free bus, times are displayed at reception. There is an ATM at reception and a small shop. The rooms are ok, could do with some draws, there is a safe in the room along with a small fridge to keep your tonic in. The staff are fantastic and will help you the best they can. My wife and I did the balloon flight booked with Mohamed, and it was first class highly recommend it. To be honest it is time for a makeover starting to look a little shabby in places especially the rooms. We found the music far too loud to be able to enjoy it, you could not hold a conversation, and it spoilt being able to sit and enjoy a drink and watch the limited entertainment. It is the staff who make this hotel, it is so clean. The food is plentiful if you cannot find something to eat just ask the head chef Rachid or the real Rachid and they will get something for you. We will be back next year, just hope the management take note of the comments made.

The holiday booked through TUI was ruined by illness on day 4, severe diarrhoea stomach cramps and nausea. Having not set foot out of the hotel this is where the problems stemmed from. My Doctor believes it was likely food related. I was not alone there were quite a few unwell guests all with the same symptoms to varying degrees. I have now been ill for 8 days and am still not ok. I would not return to this hotel, my experience has just been too awful.

Hotel facilities and location are excellent, let down by staff and management. 10 days prior to flight, emailed to inform us they were moving us to their sister hotel nearby (not adult only). We were able to find near identical booking at this hotel on TUI so managed to stay where we wanted. No explaination given. Whilst at hotel staff mixed up an alcoholic cocktail with a virgin one, the hotel denied this and listed some virgin-cocktail policies which our experience showed were not being followed. Fantastic hotel let down by the people working/running it.

Just got back from an amazing holiday. The staff are so friendly, can’t do enough for you. No ques for bars! Always manage to find a sunbed so no need to get up ridiculously early! Food has good variety however would like more fish (prawns ect) wish the shower had more pressure in our room however I think it was just ours. We ventured out to the new town was so lovely you was not made to go in any shops or bars was lovely - we came across a restaurant called LOA highly recommended!!!! Evening entertainment was abit plain- maybe adults bingo! Laura - aqua fit she is an absolute asset to the hotel she is amazing!! Will definitely be returning thank you

The staff were absolutely lovely — I couldn’t fault them at all. Everyone went above and beyond to help. The hotel itself is nice; while the rooms are a little tired and dated, they’re still comfortable. Note that toiletries aren’t provided apart from body wash in the shower, so it’s best to bring everything you need. The pool and outdoor area are pleasant, though also showing some wear — but the cabanas were a highlight! My only real criticism is the food: breakfast and lunch were quite poor, and we mostly ended up eating bread and pizza. The evening meals, however, were much better. Overall, I’d recommend this hotel for a short trip — it offers good value for money, especially thanks to the wonderful staff.

Bar staff overall were good although some were reluctant to give a decent measure of alcohol.

We have jsut come back from 11 nights here we arrived around 2030 greeted with a drink. Check in was very quick and easy. The rooms were stunning very modern and always so clean. We had a walk in shower which was lovely. They shower pressure was not great and the temperature was either too hot or too cold. The hotel was stunning and was always so clean everything was cleaned every single day. The food in my opinion was awful my partner and I both had bad tummy’s as the meat was not cooked properly and when speaking to people around the pool they too were the same. There was not much variety it was very much the same for breakfast lunch and dinner every single day. However the staff were amazing very attentive especially Yussif he is a credit to there team. We sat by the main pool for our time there and sunbed wars is very much a thing. If you want a spot in the sun all day best believe you have to be up before 0600. All the Sunbeds were taken by 0800 which isn’t great if you want a lie in. The entertainment was poor unless you had the app you had no clue what was going on. No reps came round to ask you to join in or have a chat and I’ve never been to a place like that. We had a room over looking the pool where the entertainment was and the music would be on to 2300 every night which is fine if you don’t mind noise but there are some people who want an early night so ideally the entertainment should have been else where. Overall we did have a lovely time

Just arrived back from the Tikida Garden Hotel. Please find below my honest review Arrival. We arrived on a Tui flight about 11am in the evening we thought the entrance to the hotel was stunning. Check in was done very quickly and we were offered food in the restaurant which we declined as we had eaten on the flight out. A porter took the cases and we were shown to our room. Room. We were given a room in the main building which was lovely and quiet as there were only 5 rooms where we were and it was overlooking the pool area with an enclosed inset balcony so was cool all day. The room itself was spacious with adequate air conditioning and a very large ceiling fan which kept us cool all night. We found the beds to be comfortable. There were plenty of plug sockets also and a small fridge for us to keep water cool. The hanging clothes space was adequate but for me I did miss drawer space and also a full length mirror. Bathroom. Again a reasonable size although it did have a strange door separating the toilet area. There was a walk in shower which was quite good with shower gel provided but you did have to watch the water temperature as it did get very hot at times. The towels however could have been a bit thicker and longer. I did appreciate the makeup mirror which was great for applying contact lenses. Food and drink we found the food to be very varied and never found a problem finding something to eat at mealtimes with plenty of choice for even the most fussy eaters. There were plenty of tables available and never had a problem being seated. We found the drinks to be very random and didn't taste like the ones that we would normally drink and as a whole to be quite weak and poor quality .We found the Rose wine to be acceptable and we alternated between this for dinner and lunch and then stuck to gin and tonic in the evening. Entertainment. The only night we enjoyed was White Night which we enjoyed although it was a shame that more people didn't participate in the white theme? We found the other night entertainment to be not so good. It did also start to get chilly in the evenings as there was a slight breeze . To summarise we did enjoy our 10 day holiday in this hotel. The hotel is beautiful and the gardens are stunning and well maintained. The pool areas are clean and well looked after although towels were put on sunbeds and cabanas very early. I would like to say a big thankyou to all the wonderful hardworking staff who always go above and beyond to make you feel special and always with a big smile. A very big thankyou also to Abdul who worked at breakfast and also in the restaurant in the evening . He always warmly greeted us with our table already with our drinks on every day he is a true asset to the hotel and deserves a special mention. I would also l7ke to mention the young photographer who did a set of photographs for us. They were lovely and very professionally done and really felt like you were doing a photo shoot they were well worth the money. We had a great time and would definitely return. Earlier this year some friends and I discussed and agreed we would have a joint birthday get away , one of our party had stayed here on two previous occasions with his wife and recommended it for our 7 day stay . The negatives first - old, thin and smaller than they should be bath towels , no milk or iron / ironing boards in the rooms , no drawers and no full length mirrors . The wall mirror also contains a TV however the screen size when switched on is only around 32 inches . There’s a little fridge in the room and they refill it with large bottles of water which you can also get from the bar . Positives Below Water pressure - this was pretty decent so you felt you’d had a shower and the water does get very hot ! Food - We opted for all inclusive so as it was only for week there was enough variety for that period , I personally wouldn’t want to eat there for longer than this , those whom are seasoned travellers will know what I mean . None of our party had allergies but I’d advise triple checking just in case ! We found the beds / pillows OK but like a lot of things comfort levels are very individual! We did one night in the Ala Carte restaurant, both the food and service were good although one or two of the dishes served could’ve done without french fries ( again ) and it was a more relaxed and quieter setting which I’m sure couples would enjoy . Drinks - The dark rum was not great , most of the cocktails were ok but strangely enough I enjoyed the non alcohol alternatives a lot more . The lager was ok and I did try the red wine at dinner on the first day but never touched another drop ! Entertainment- It was fine if you like that sort of thing but as other holiday acts it was hit and miss . The Hotel - This was a lot better than some I have stayed in , it was always being attended to inside and also externally , the gardens certainly reflected this . The main reception area is well decorated and very open with plenty of seating. The main bar is very relaxing again with lots of comfy seating if you fancy grabbing a drink while chatting or catching up on your favourite sports via the large TV’s . Gym - It has enough equipment and an indoor pool including a spa should any of these options take your fancy . There is also a clay tennis court and clay 5 aside pitch although I didn’t see anyone using the latter while on my daily stroll around the lovely hotel grounds which are definitely worth checking out . Pools - These are stunning and extremely well maintained and it was nice not seeing people eating around them which helped keep the local birds at bay . Sun beds - Plenty of them including the ones with mattress however like many other holiday destinations it’s the usual get up early and place your towels game if you have a particular spot you like to catch the sun or shade to relax . There is a sign that states no placing towels until 6am , not sure if this is enforced? The staff - No place runs itself and all of our interactions with the staff across their various teams is something I’d like to see replicated it is that good , nothing was too much trouble and what was really refreshing was they weren’t in your face for tips . We had to go and search for the ones who had been looking after us during our stay in order to give them their well deserved tips . Unlike some other TUI hotels we’ve previously stayed in ,the reps were very visible for the most part and were particularly helpful when one of our party had mislaid an item of clothing just after we had checked in We met quite few holiday makers who told us this was not their first visit to this particular hotel so they are obviously getting something right . I would recommend the ballon trip , we opted for the sunrise one and was not disappointed however do some research before booking any trips with the reps as there are definitely better deals to be found . The bus to the market - you need to book this and ensure you are aware of your collection to and from the hotel , you get tickets with your pick up / collection times . The market itself was an experience although I suggest keeping your wits about you as one or two sellers tried diverting us away from where we knew our way but we politely but firmly ignored their efforts . Had a little bit of a barter but it was never our plans to buy any old tat so we were in/out in 1 hour 30 minutes later with what we had gone there for . Money - It’s a closed currency so you will have to get your money on arrival at the airport or at the hotel which has a an ATM . You could also get yourself a Monzo or Revolut card and preload it with the local currency. Obviously some places prefer cash but if you can use a card without the fees then it’s an option worth considering. We thought there was a local tax that needed to be paid first staying there however we were told this was not the case , not sure if TUI have already included this in the price or if this is something that may get introduced at some point ?

This hotel is very well designed ,from the walk way to the interior a mix match of furniture greets you in the lobby with a small shop that sells clothes purses bags and jewellery. Access to rooms are great with a few lifts scattered around . Our room was 341 which faces the quiet pool and is clean an well presented ..clean towels everyday and a tidy up . Be aware tho that you can hear slamming of doors most of the night . Food was OK mainly rice veg and most meats daily . Now sunbeds ..what a palava that is .I woke due to shouting early sometimes 4-5.30 most days and beds are gone by at least 6.30 with only a few remaining at the quiet pool ,by the way there are a few pools .make urself known aswell to staff ,as 2 women we had to stand and ask for things as simple as coffee .All in All tho lovely hotel and well designed.very well kept

Have just come home from a lovely stay. First time visiting here and will be going back! Everyone was just so friendly! Very easy check in. Room was exactly as described. All the staff were so helpful. There is a good range of food available and something for everyone. The main lobby bar is so relaxed. It's like being in a sofa warehouse as all the furniture is different. Plenty of room to relax. There are plenty of sunbeds but sadly so many people are idiots and go down and reserve beds they never sit on! The main activity pool has a good accessible ramp but spoilt by people putting sunbeds in the way. A good idea would actually be to have a couple of areas by the pool set aside for access & accessible seating near the entrance as the rest of the resort has great access for wheelchairs.

My understanding is that this hotel is run by TUI, but owned by Riu. If I have that wrong my apologies. Firstly, I feel a bit bad about giving only a three score because we enjoyed our holiday and there was a lot about the hotel we liked. But for me the food really lets the place down, and it would be remiss not to reflect that. For context, I have travelled extensively across all price ranges since my teens, and I never once complained about the food. So I'm pretty certain I'm not a fussy eater. One won't starve here of course. But I found the food mostly bland, repetitive and of poor quality. Most days we found it difficult to find something that looked half decent. My wife made do with a cheese roll for dinner one night. And not once did I see anybody queuing for a speciality dish, because basically there was never anything like that . It was just a series of rather bland meat and vegetable stews in pots with the meat particularly of poor quality, and a couple of cooking stations with similar quality meat. Very little seafood, and limited salad and cold cuts. At breakfast each day, once they ran out of bacon it was never refilled. In summary, it was the most disappointing holiday food I have experienced. Perhaps TUI need to up the budget so the staff here can put on a better show? Because the staff are definitely not the problem. The a la carte was a little bit better to be fair. And finally, breakfast doesn't start until 730am which is late compared to everywhere else we've been. And most of the morning airport pick ups are set before 730am whatever the flight time. So you can't even get a cup of coffee before you leave the hotel. We easily got airside with three hours to go before our flight. Wonder how much is saved on breakfasts as a result of this arrangement? Moan over. As to the rest. The hotel looks great and is spotlessly clean. Quick service at the bars and good quality drinks. Rooms are nice and spacious, with large comfortable beds. And the staff are lovely and very helpful, so congratulations to the management on that. Be aware though that if you tip during your stay those staff will basically follow you about the hotel offering to help. Which is fine if that's your thing. If not, it might be best to wait until the end of your holiday to tip. Now for a couple of things others have commented on in previous reviews. I'm a bit of an air con freak as I like a cool room. The low temperature on the unit is centrally controlled and delivered 23 to 24 degrees in our room. Cooler than outside, but perhaps too warm for some. If you mention this the engineer will turn up the internal fan, which together with the ceiling fan gives a nice breeze. Still 23/24 degrees though. For context outside day temps were hitting 40 degrees and we were on the top floor so the flat roof above us got very hot. Lower floor rooms may be cooler. We slept just fine by the way, but only once the fan had been turned up. The sunbed war thing was real during our stay. The hotel was at capacity though, and the high temperatures meant everybody wanted a parasol. The Cabanas were gone by six am and pretty much all of the desirable beds by eight. Not sure what the hotel can do really because if they put more sunbeds out then the place would begin to resemble a cruise ship pool as there is limited space. I would imagine it's better when the hotel is less busy. A lot of people arrive on early flights by the way, but fly out at the end of their holiday in the evening, which means there is even more pressure on the sunbeds during the day. Bottom line. Would I go again? No, not without some indication that the food situation had been addressed. But we did have a good holiday despite that. So many thanks to the management and staff of the hotel who do a great job.

We’ve been lucky enough to visit Tikida Gardens Hotel twice this year, and each stay has been just as special as the last. The hotel really stands out for its beautiful grounds and gardens, peaceful, well-kept, and a lovely place to stroll or relax when you want a change from the poolside. The Main pool has music and good vibes all day or there is a quiet pool for the more relaxed days. There’s also plenty to do during the day, whether you want to join in with activities, take part in sports, or simply unwind. It’s a resort where you can truly choose your own pace. One of the biggest highlights for us is the staff in the food halls, who go above and beyond every day. They are welcoming, attentive, and create such a positive atmosphere that makes mealtimes something to look forward to. Nothing is ever to much and they are always happy and smiling. Very refreshing for us Brits! We’d like to give a special mention to some of the staff who made our stays even more memorable: • Khadija - Dinner • Yassine - Breakfast • Salma - Breakfast • Mohamed - Dinner • Mhamed - Dinner • Habbi - Dinner Plus the Photographer Ash! We had an overall good experienced at Tikida Gardens. The staff are fantastic and, for a TUI Blue hotel, the food is good, which is a nice change. Facilities are generally good and the pools are stunning. Three negatives in terms of facilities: firstly, the sun beds are very uncomfortable. This makes sunbathing, if you’re unable to get a day bed, a bit of a chore. Secondly, and following on from the first point, sun bed wars are in full swing at this hotel so, if you want a day bed, you’ll be getting up at 06:00 in the morning to reserve one every single day (this is actively encouraged by the hotel, with posters indicating this, which is a massive shame). Lastly, the towel card situation (you will be given towel cards that will need to be traded in for towels and vice versa when checking out, or you will incur a fee) means that if you have a late flight home, it is impossible to retain a towel and therefore make the best use of the facilities (unless you purchase late check out, which is around £50). This is ridiculous, frankly. For these reasons, I’d hesitate to return to the hotel as not only will you be getting up early every single day but the way in which the facilities are set up means that it’s rather impractical and therefore expensive. This is a shame as it is a stunning hotel with great staff and good food.

There are a number of reviews that like to state they cannot understand negative reviews… well that works both ways! Positives, the room cleaners do an excellent job. The staff in general are friendly and do a good job. Mohammed and team in the restaurant are really welcoming (I won’t mention the towel hut). Negatives… the food. Boring repetitive luke warm at best. The decor, no way this had a refurb 4 years ago, unless it was done by the same crews building new houses in the UK, to quote a famous Welsh snagger - SHOCKING! Old, tired, missing grout, uneven floors… the towels are older than I am and some so thread bear I am surprised they did not disintegrate! Air con… we started in room 365 and were moved to 455. 455 was bearable, maybe as it was in a newer block, many commented on this. 365 never worked and sound like a machine gun when the fan was turned up… maintenance just made it worse! We were only moved as the toilet would not flush and being unwell I was calling them regularly to fix. Horrendous! Even the main buildings are warm, I get it is hot, and we were told 90% of locals don’t have air con, but there is little refuge considering you have paid for a 4* resort. This is not a 4* venue. It is beautiful and has massive potential, but is falling significantly short.

Family of four, two young adult children. We really enjoyed our week here, nice location grounds were well tended and the pool areas immaculate. The staff were all friendly and make the hotel a nice place to spend a restful week. We enjoyed the pool and generally got sunbeds although it would be improved by a few more scattered around, I’d love to see some more placed in the grass areas - take the pressure off the immediate pool areas. The drinks were fine, cocktails ok and the wine was very drinkable. We chose this Tui blue hotel partly because Tui blue are good for allergens and one of our party is coeliac so requires full gluten free. We all found the food tasty and the restaurant staff very helpful. It’s typical AI fayre but there was always something nice to eat. In terms of gluten free, we first of all made it known to the head chef Rachid and he was brilliant, each dinner he took the time to show us what was GF and what was safe, also making GF pasta dishes and pizza on request as well as grilled prawns and and some lovely desserts. We felt very safe, also the lady chef in the Marjorelle restaurant where lunch and breakfast were served was excellent. Our coeliac ate very well and it was down to the caring chefs. Do NOT however only trust the allergen cards next to the food, they were not always correct - go with what the chef tells you, we had no problems this way. We took the handy shuttle bus into the city and did the balloon trip which was amazing (As others have said, use Mohamed Chop outside the hotel for trips - top guy, will save a fortune on TUI prices). This hotel is great if you want to chill out in the sun with decent food and lovely staff. The clientele all seemed very nice, too I must say.

AIRPORT Party of 10, On arrival to Marakech, airport stuff asking about what our jobs were, at passport control one of our family members was told the job he did didn't pay that much ? How did he pay to get here . Thought it was rude. Please becareful when collecting your bags, the bag orderleys take them and want paying. When we was told to go to the area for our coach, the baggage was already full 6 of our party was already on board, 30 minutes waiting as then the tui guides thought about putting the suitcases by the back door, no one was communicating, I said this wasn't happening as it's dangerous to other passengers, we said we would get a taxi, but they sorted a minibus for us. HOTEL GROUNDS On arrival the grounds and reception are truly stunning, well maintained and looked after. Walking around the grounds totally stunning it's an Eco system they grow and eat the produce here, the palm trees are full of dates and are lovely. Takes about 10 minutes to walk around the complex. Outside is a residential area, and has a shop called Mo's get your taxis booked here. THE ROOMS The rooms to be honest are in need of painting, plastering, and regrouting, ceiling fans need securing as they make loud noises when on.couple in our party was moved due to air-conditioning not working, ceiling fan was also fixed, so they were good on that. Full length mirrors are definitely needed, they have a mirror that's a tv wasted you had to stand on the bed to see what you looked like. No iron in room, hairdryer is like a travel one lights are not bright in the bathroom for woman doing makeup. Beds are so hard and pillows like bricks sleep lacked with everyone. Bathroom towels need new ones 1 hand towel and a shower towel extremely thin and old. Bring your own. Fridge on arrival has 2 bottles of water, but go to the inside bar to get your water.They offer a laundry service tbh way to expensive to have your laundry done. Shower, water pressure is pretty dire too.Rooms are cleaned every day bring a pair of shoes slippers as after shower your feet are dirty. It states it's a 4 * rating personally a 3 at a push. RESTAURANT As an all inclusive its buffet style, helping yourself, variety of foods 1 in our party is vegan, they spoke to Head chef Rachid to be honest all what was available was salad. Though he made a tagine which was good, only once.Pretty much 2 weeks they have eaten salad, fresh fruit daily but needs changing there are more fruits than just melon, apples and grapes oranges needs more variety All of us at some point has had upset stomach,1 in the party 5 days please becareful. The thing with all inclusive is it is trying to appease everyone but it is monotonous, theme nights would be a good idea a change from every day foods. In the resturants the labels are awful it will say a word in English and then in other languages,but not what the ingredients is. Worrying if you have intolerance s, that needs addressing. Meat is next to vegetables, fish also, contamination is clear, we have to remember this is not at a level that we have in the UK it's very much meat based, and catering for vegans is not here. On the second week they give out customers surveys, the waiters can't do enough for you which is funny, and they want to be tipped at the end of the 2 weeks. MEDINA We went to the medina when they drop you off at the medina gardens, breathe through your mouth, the horse and carriages are based here but the smell of urine, will take your breathe away. It's about a 10 minute walk, the hotel shuttle bus will drop you off and collect but you have to book it. We went into the souks, it was an experience I highly recommend, wear good walking shoes and barter never take the first price they offer you. If you want trips download Getmyguide, cheaper and exactly the same as what is offered just charge you more from hotel . POOL 3 pools as a big group we wanted the music which is at the back end, getting up at 5.30 to secure a bed is no joke, maintenance is not good in the pool slipping from oil when standing up, getting out on a step ladder is the same full of oil and slip. Around the beds need to be swept and hosed down daily, a drink was spilt, 10 days you can still see , the stain, alot of kids around the pool area maintaining it. Table tennis table is broke they keep pushing it up but needs a new one. Dart bord the darts are bent so when throwing they drop as they are bent. If the up keep like the gardens was the same as the hotel it would be 4* and above. TUI Reps always on hand to offer help and assistance. The hotel offer things to do during the day from exercise to cooking etc, evening entertainment sorry but it's the worst like a butlins weekend, they try but it's terrible, don't go 2nd week of September like a saga hoilday truly. 7 to 10 days is enough. Would we return No, for the price we thought it was expensive. Going for dinner out of the complex is like London prices yet your in Morocco a vast comparison. 8 mins away is a shopping mall has papa Johns and Starbucks a few shops but a welcome cool breeze. Sunshine 30 to 39 most days one day over cast weather is fantastic. AIRPORT You will leave the hotel about 4 hours before flight, have to say we have travelled all over this has to be one of the worst Airports we have endured. Checking in ran smoothly, it was then the amount of checks that were proceeded to go through, and not even 5 steps in front of the last check, atleast 10 of them. Duty-free is more expensive than UK Airports so buy snacks before you go in, you can't use Dirhams inside the terminal so don't take it with you, unless you want to go to the currency exchange which is in the opening of the airport.

The overall finest quality of the hotel is the people, The managers are always available and visible. All the staff are superb and want to give great service. The hotel is spotless and cleaned continuously. We arrived at reception and we were greeted by the receptionist who told us we had been upgraded to a jnr suite, the room was immense. The pools are diverse 4 all different, one quite, one with a bar, one activity and the last one closest to reception hosts the pool party. The entertainment is great and the best was the white night. The food is great with choices and well chosen dishes, with great service. The Kullinarium was great for a one off with great service. There is a lot said about the sun beds, we are not early risers but we managed to get a cabana every day, you don't always get choice but there are plenty available. Everything here was amazing including the gardens, do not worry about booking , you will have a great holiday.

Hotel - the hotel is beautiful, very well kept and decor very unique. Staff - the staff are lovely! Mostly smiling when taking orders, greeting holiday makers and making sure everyone is okay and happy. The restaurant staff are quick to offer drinks when seated and clean away finished dishes Bars - the lobby bar is fab, very spacious and cool, it has variety of sofas and chairs to choose from. There is only one bar open at night, with some of the seating outside, you do walk a bit to get a drink, it gets busy and there is a rule after 11am to limit how many drinks a person can take away. The pool bar during the day is good, if sitting around the quiet pool, the bar really is far away!! Shame it's tucked in a corner. Drinks are served in tiny cups! Rooms - we had a leaky toilet on the night of arrival and was quickly switched to another room, we ended up with a ground floor room, with a balcony close to the main pool, the room was spacious and beds were comfy. One room on our corridor had the squeakiest door, whoever stayed in that room appeared to spend most of the early morning going in and out. The doors definitely needed oiling. Entertainment - the evening entertainment was okay. Some nights very boring. Pool party was fab and we had a giggle at karaoke, which unfortunately was cut off at 11pm. Sunbeds - the reserving of sunbeds are not dissimilar to other hotels, people will always get up early to reserve the best beds. We never struggled to get a bed, even at 8am. However, some people was out at 5am in their PJ's sleeping on their sunbeds. Food & Restaurants - we found this hit and miss. Some meals was lovely, some basic, repetitive and boring. We liked the idea of the different restaurants. Food was put on for late arrivals too. The restaurants was very clean! You will se staff mopping in between meal times. There is hand sanitizer at the entrance, unfortunately not everyone uses it and a lot of the time w was there, it didn't work. Medina - shuttle to sister hotel was helpful, but SWEATY! No aircon and packed in. You do hear some worrying stories about the markets, we had no problem at all, we came across soooo many lovely locals and kindly said no thank you and wasn't hassled again. We purchased some lovely gifts to take home. One purchase was some coasters, we checked each coaster for chips and handed over the money. We saw the seller grab a bag and get us our change. When we arrived back home the top coaster was beautiful in the pattern we wanted and in pristine condition, the three coasters below had been swapped out for mis matched and damaged coasters - appalling that we hadn't haggled and was so polite to the man- so please watch out. THE SPA - so this is where our holiday got weird! We were looking forward to a relaxing couples massage and spent the 30 minutes tensed. Firstly, we booked to be in the couples room and when we arrived, they tried to fob us off putting us in separate rooms. They instructed us to get undressed, but stayed in the room, watching us undress. During the massage, hands were in underwear and VERY close to private parts, for both of us and unexpectedly I had my breasts massaged. After seeking some advice on the matter, I was informed this is the 'norm', this massager hadn't bothered me, more shocked me. My concern is that this hotel classes aged 16 and over as an adult, I would hate to have received that treatment at a 16 year old. TIPS: - Glovo app to order almost anything. We ordered a shopping bag full of energy drinks, crisps, pop and snacks. Very cheap and delivered to front gate of hotel. - Bring tumblers for drinks, staff are more than happy to fill them, you'll get a bigger drink that stays cool. - Staff do wash/mop the floors around the pool, don't leave your beach bag on the floor, mine was flooded a couple of times. - Get your guide for excursions - McDonald's over the road, KFC on Glovo App

We stayed here for 14 nights July 2025. It was our first stay at this hotel but not the first trip to Morocco. It was 40 degrees plus the whole stay; 48 being the highest. You wonder how you’d cope in that heat but it was manageable as the humidity is so low (around 23%). In the Caribbean, my hair frizzes and my legs and feet swell terribly; not so here. It’s a TUI Blue (adults only) all-inclusive hotel. All activities, meal times etc are on the TUI Blue app (not the TUI app). They seemed to be really pushing this different TUI branding. For a lot of activities, the gathering place was under the big Tikida tree in the grounds by the pool. I found the hotel to be on a much smaller scale than a Caribbean beach all-inclusive. The hotel is situated in the middle of a residential area, set in lush, well-maintained gardens. The gardens were lovely to have a stroll around. Taxis could be arranged via Reception. It was 100MAD (about £8) one way to European style shopping area (Carre Eden mall) and 150MAD (£12.50ish) one way to the Medina. There is also a free shuttle mini van (booked in advance via Reception) that takes you to the sister hotel, The TUI Blue Medina Gardens (no other stops). It is then apparently close enough to walk to the Medina. We tried the bus once in 40 degree heat, packed in like sardines as it was fully booked and the air conditioning was broken. Once was enough as we were left dripping in sweat. THE ROOM We had 3 adults in a room because the single supplement was so steep. When we arrived, the fold out sofa hadn’t been made up into a bed and there were only two of everything provided (glasses, towels etc). A call to Reception had this quickly fixed while we were out at dinner. There was enough room for the 3 of us and the fold out bed was big enough for an adult. Personally, I found the main bed very hard and the pillows too soft. There was a medium tog duvet on bed when room was a static 26 degrees – no separate sheet option. The room had air conditioning and a ceiling fan. We set the thermostat to 5 degrees and the room remained a constant 26 (my travel clock has a thermometer on it). We had an engineer visit and tell us that was as good as it was going to get as the air conditioning was working. It was impossible to sleep in the heat. A few days later, the temperature dropped to 23 and remained at that for the rest of the stay and that made the room much more pleasant. The fan had to always be on. The room was clean enough but for a couple of days it was super clean which put the first cleaner to shame. Huge mirror TV on the wall. We could only get a picture 2/3rd of the screen. No British channels (usually you get BBC World News abroad). There was a French news channel in English. We usually ended up watching a German music channel. Wi-Fi was good. Thank goodness for the Wi-Fi. There was a little fridge in the room but it was totally empty. I’ve never stayed in an all inclusive before that gave you a totally empty fridge. You could fit 3 or 4 of the 1.5 litre water bottles on their side and keep them relatively cool but not cold. There was no ice compartment. There was a coffee maker in the room on the unit under the TV. We didn’t use it. The fitted wardrobes were single units joined together; not the greatest amount of storage. Not enough hangers – we could have asked for more but didn’t bother. Free room safe on a shelf in the wardrobe (the type that you set your own 4 digit code). There are mosquitoes about in the room; getting in presumably when the maid cleans and leaves doors open. I spent some time every night bashing them. We got a few bites despite spraying. BATHROOM Long in length. Pretty basic. No extraction fan or air con in the bathroom. Literally like a sauna when the door was closed. Walk in shower that could get quite slippery underfoot as the water flow and pressure was poor and thus soap didn’t clear away quickly. There was a rainfall shower head and a hose attachment. The power didn’t get all the conditioner out my mid length hair. Shower gel dispenser fixed to the wall in the shower. Mini wrapped travel soap provided for the sink. That was it. The towels had seen better days. POOLS The hotel has 4 pools. SLIM ‘LOVERS’ POOL Directly outside the main lobby. Tiny jacuzzi section at the top end. Canopy beds. Slimline design. Always full of coupley couples. Also popular because it was close to the Zanzibar for drinks (but you needed to be clothed and dry to enter). MAIN ACTIVITY POOL Central to everything. A good size. Ramp into the shallow end with hand railing that disappeared down to knee level (clearly not practical for actual use). Ping pong table at the end which always had someone playing on it. Music played from here. Beds elbow to elbow. No space for privacy. No opportunity to turn to follow the sun - literally stuck rigid. Utter madness in the mornings with people up and running about at 6am to reserve their beds. Signs up saying no reserving before 6am but you could hear all the doors opening and closing well before 6. There are a couple of canopy beds nearby and we saw people sleeping out with their sheets so they could ensure they had the bed reserved before 6am. We also saw people taking umbrellas and tables from areas other people had set up and reserved for themselves but had now gone back to bed. Adequate space around the pool area vicinity to move a bed and get some privacy and avoid all that nonsense. However, getting up later risked getting a broken bed and no umbrella. SMALL POOL BESIDE THE BAR A small pool to the left of the main pool. There were beds and umbrellas available. If you want a drink during the day, this bar opens at 10am. Nice seating area in front of it. Unfortunately, it was besieged by honey bee / wasp type things and I was scared to stand anywhere near the bar. Very popular pool because it’s beside the bar and you can go up wet. The only other option for a drink was a walk to the Zanzibar bar at Reception which was indoors and you needed to be clothed and dry to use it. Towel reserving madness here at 6am as well. THE ‘QUIET’ POOL / SWIM-UP ROOM POOL Situated behind the apartments facing the other pools, you could hear a pin drop. No music or activities. The don’t want inflatables in here either. SUNBEDS 40 degree heat and they provide beds with metal frames! The ground is too hot to stand on in bare feet and if you touched the metal, you risked a burn. The all-inclusive towels provided had seen better days and only fitted 2/3rd of the bed which meant you couldn’t comfortably stretch out without burning skin. You could tell the people who had been before as they’d come with their own towels to cover the length of the bed. SPA Spa on the site just behind the restaurant. Various treatments on offer and they seemed reasonably priced. I didn’t go in. TENNIS COURTS We saw people returning racquets and balls to Reception so they are available to use. People were out playing in 40 degree heat. DRINKS There was a little fridge in the room but it wasn’t stocked with anything – not even water. 1.5 litre bottles of treated water (not mineral water) had to be collected from the Zanzibar bar beside the main lobby whenever you needed more. Nothing in the room to welcome you. I am happy with water and diet cola during the day but I like a cold beer, a wine or a cocktail in the evening to keep in with the holiday vibe. I’m drinking for a treat and a fabulous taste experience, not to get drunk. The drinks were served in small, plastic glasses. In the restaurants, the glasses were small. Definitely bring your own cold tumbler. I didn’t like the beer; it was too hoppy for me – you might love it. The red wine was a bit like a Merlot and fine with a meal, the white wasn’t great and the rose was like vinegar (though plenty of folk were drinking it). We were told there was no sparkling wine. The cocktails were diabolical. I tried a caipirinha, a daiquiri and a pina colada. They had no resemblance to the actual drinks and the alcohol used was so foul, I had to leave them after the first sips and just didn’t drink in the evenings after that. FOOD Hand sanitation gel available as you entered the restaurants. Many people carried on in without using it. We ate and drank everything (though I always avoid rice and pasta on holiday) and never got sick. Breakfast & Lunch buffet restaurant With Reception to the back of you, it’s to the right of the main pool. Always busy but the staff were very efficient. A lot of hugging went on from the waiters (to other guests). Closed doors. No flies. A good selection to choose from. A little samey in offering but enough to make up different meals throughout the stay. Evening meal In the main building. Some people got very dressed up and others made very little effort. A nice selection of meats and vegetables, cold salad section, breads and little desserts. The vegetarian tagines were divine. A La Carte Restaurant – only one - Culinarium Needs to be reserved as soon as you arrive. Only two sittings per night. Set menu. Nice set-up. It did feel a bit special compared to the buffet. Proper sized water glasses and wine glasses so the hotel does have them! ENTERTAINMENT Not great but they had started trying new things while we were there. There’s not a dedicated stage for starters so anything happening is difficult to view further back as you have people in front of you blocking you from seeing anything happening. At the start of the stay, there weren’t enough seats for people and folk were having to sit in the dark on sunbeds. They then brought out ornate velvet seats (conference / wedding) which helped but you still couldn’t see anything at the back. The entertainment wasn’t my cup of tea regardless (mediocre pub singer, belly dancer, ‘world quiz’ translated in several languages etc). Other options would be sit on the lobby area or sit in the indoors Zanzibar (well lit and popular with people playing cards but all the presence of a railway waiting room). The hotel promotes a ‘white night’ party which was popular. They also tried an evening foam pool party (accident waiting to happen). I’d have been bored and a little sad at night if I’d gone on my own. CONCLUSION A lovely hotel in lush grounds. To see anything outside you’ll need to book a trip / taxi or take the hotel’s free one stop only shuttle bus. It's not a beach hotel. No kids. It's clean.

So I have read a lot of reviews and honestly. I didn’t get why so many negative ! I am a seasoned traveler and always review, so let’s start with what I read on here and what experienced, Sundbed wars - there was never a problem in all 3 pools , unless you had a lye in after 10ish you may not get one in your favourite spot , I’ll upload a walk around I done around 8ish , but always plenty, Waiters expecting tips - No way, I had exceptional staff across the whole team who went above and beyond I chose to tip at the end of the holiday but it never changed how great all the staff were , The food - its not crap it’s just very much the same , if your fussy you’ll struggle , if you want a full English you’ll struggle , but the food is plentiful and there is a few basic options if you fancy chips / pizza , but unlike other Tui blue / sensatori there isn’t a different Italian / steak etc / Asian as well as the Buffett. There is 1 buffet and the a la carte , but the a la carte is very much the same just in a nicer setting and served rather than self service. The entertainment - yes its from 2100 to 2300 it’s hit and miss depends what you like , if you want an early night or like to bed tucked up by 2100 , then don’t get a room by the main pool as the stage is outside and it’s not quiet , however it’s a normal nights entertainment like most resorts The hotel grounds and pool - amazingly well kept and and clean , no faults The rooms - Clean tidy and spacious , aircon was fine with a ceiling fan too , my outlook is , you only sleep there , and they were good enough for that , I would say a few small maintenance issues needs but more a touch of pain and a bit of shower grout etc , no dramas The drinks - no premium brands but ! They tasted just as good no concerns My overall view A great adult only resort . Clean tidy and looks nice , the staff are great from gardeners to waiters you’ll always get a hello when they see you ,rooms are fine but need a touch up here and there , and ladies the hairdryers are pants ,bring your own !! we would return but I think 1 week or more you’d get bored of the food , the hotel is on par with the tui blue brands

Cons: Ce que je n’ai pas aimé et qu’il faut impérativement faire attention à l’avenir, c’est la réservation de transat. Beaucoup de clients se lèvent à 6h pour pouvoir réserver et mettre la serviette sur les transats. La piscine ferme un petit peu tôt 18h30 je trouve ça légèrement abusé Et les soirées se terminent à 23h. C’est assez dommage 0h01 heure serait plus acceptable.

Horrible place. Please don’t come here. We called in the morning for a day pass for 2 persons, the reception told us we are more than welcome. No reservation was needed. So we took a taxi from our riad, drove 30 min to come and we were denied access. The reception hung up on us and there was not even an apology. This is not the way you treat clients. Never booking with tui blue again.

My stay at RIU Marakech on July 22 was one of the worst hotel experiences l've ever had, due to a complete failure of both their facilities and their customer service. The primary issue was the air conditioning in the suite , It was not working properly. The unit was either blowing weak, warm air or not functioning at all. The room temperature was unbearable, especially during the night, making it impossible to get a good night's sleep. However, the most frustrating part was the response from the front desk. When i called to report the problem, the staff was dismissive and unhelpful.

Our first time at this hotel, From the moment we arrived, we we’re treated like king and queen, the staff make this place what it is, nothing is too much, we had chosen a room with pool view around the quiet pool. And was very pleased with it. The air-conditioning did take a while to kick in but we arrived in a heatwave, 46c not dropping below 26c overnight. The drinks are low alcohol and yes we did get merry, a few brandy’s doubled after evening meal did the trick, it’s Martell, one drink that is branded. The vodka gin and wine ok, had the white at lunch and evening meal, beer ok too. The food is as you would expect with a Moroccan twist, the wife as Crohn's disease, and had no issue, we where there 2 weeks. For breakfast there was fresh made omelettes, how you like, eggs, cereals toast, fruits, yoghurts, pastries and more. At lunch there was always something different, pizza to pasta, salads, local food and more, fries if you wanted lol, and the evenings were different too, with plenty of choice, yes if there 2 weeks it can be seen how people would say repetitive, I always managed to Find something different. The staff can go the extra mile, Rachid the chef was lovely, Larbi, Milau, can’t remember how to spell, he was the older chap setting and clearing tables in day restaurant, Mohammed, amin and many more, all the staff. and yes tips do help, as the wage is low, we picked a few out after about 3 days and gave 50mad each, then again near the end of our stay, 12mad to the pound. The room was cleaned daily. Sunbeds yes when we arrived it was 6am mid August, after the second week around mid August it wasn’t a issue and if it was pool boys will go get sunbeds for you, just ask, no need to complain. For trips, and pop , munchies in your room, go see Mohamed chop, the shop out the barrier and turn left. Great guy. Did 2 trips and paid sterling cash. Cheaper than TUI, had a bespoke tour of madina and souks and did the hot air balloon. I could go on and on, Ignore the bad reviews. And as the for the post regarding a waiter being removed, lies, was there and he wasn’t removed, I have my views on that and I’ll leave that there.

We paid a lot more money to stay at this hotel, believing it would provide the right care and facilities for my coeliac disease. Before arriving, we were reassured I would be properly catered for. At first this seemed the case - for the first three days we were walked around the buffet by Rashid, who initially was helpful. On the third night, another chef walked us around and showed me the fish that said grilled and marinated, told me it was gluten free, and safe to eat. I trusted this, only to realise the moment I put it in my mouth that it was fried. I knew instantly, started crying as this was my first holiday since being gluten free and i had done so much research to feel okay, and yet soon after I was very unwell. We double-checked with three other chefs who all looked unsure, asked around, and then insisted it was gluten free, but it clearly wasn’t. I spent the rest of my holiday sick with diarrhoea, vomiting, fever, flu-like symptoms, and fatigue. We raised this with TUI, who then communicated this with the hotel. The only options we were given were to have food sent to our room or meals prepared by the second head chef. We decided to go down to the buffet to have the latter. However, from then on, the service changed dramatically. No offer of this, no one showed us around the buffet anymore. Rashid in particular became dismissive, I had to go up to him when he was behind the counter, he watched me reach for an item and turned away, so I if I asked if it was gluten free and he just went no and walked away. Again with other items he’d just say “yeah” or “no” without checking and then turn away. Considering how ill I’d been, this lack of care was shocking. To make matters worse, the allergen labels on the buffet are wrong and misleading. Staff themselves admitted this, so they are of no real use. For anyone with coeliac disease or allergies, this makes the buffet unsafe and stressful. The entertainment was also unreliable, with activities advertised weren’t running. We tried to do soft archery; it wasn’t on. We collected tennis equipment from reception, went to the courts, and were told we couldn’t play. The only saving grace was the waiting staff, who were consistently attentive and kind. One older gentleman, who I believe was the head waiter and usually wore a light blue shirt, was outstanding (sorry we didnt get his name). Even after my gluten incident, he tried to help by showing us around himself and always made us feel welcome. Sadly, these positives were completely overshadowed. For the amount of money we paid, the holiday was a huge disappointment. The mislabelling of food, lack of care from the chefs, and the fact I was made ill ruined our stay. I would strongly warn anyone with coeliac disease or food allergies to avoid this hotel.

We visited Tikida Gardens a month ago now and have taken my time to write this review as wanted to put something meaniful as it deserves so much praise. I have read many reviews on this hotel before I visited and do so before any hotel I stay at. I can honestly say this is one of the best hotels I have experienced escpailly with the price. Please don't waste your time reading all the negative reviews, as lots of them are a complete lie or are not factual. The service is the best I have recieved with all staff being so friendly and making you feel so welcome and nothing is an issue for them. The staff take pride in their work and will do anything they can to help. I cannot fault the food. Everything is fresh, hot and restocked regularly. There are many options, including traditional Moroccan food, beautiful salads and English food like pizza and chips. Themed nights with kebabs, burger and my favourite the gala night with lots of sushi. My Mother-in-law is gluten free and vegetarian, which can be very difficult at an all inclusive hotel. She spoke to the head chef Rashid who showed her what she could eat from the buffet. They also were able upon request to make her seperate meals such as vegetarian and gluten free pizza, pasta and falafal. The chef also made our whole family meals not on the buffet, and he did not expect any money in return for this. I have seen some people leaving reviews complaining about the food, but if you ask the chef's they will make you something you like straight away. It was my mothers birthday during our holiday which we informed the hotel prior to our holiday. They made sure to put a note in the room my mother was staying in to see the head of the restaurant on here birthday. When we came in the table was decorated and at the end a cake was brought out and a happy birthday done aswell which was a lovely touch.. The rooms with lovely and very clearn and modern. Very good aircon especially as had the ceiling fan. The clearners were so friendly and very attentive to making sure the room was spotless everytime. The facilities of the were also great with tennis courts which can be booked which used a few times during our stay with the hotel staff making sure the pitch was flat every morning. French Boules area where you could ask the pool staff at the hut to get the boules from them which was nice to play on your own if wanted too. Small football court. Table tennis with ball and bats left out which was also nice as didn't have to worry about asking. The pools were amazing, we sat by and used the main activity pool for our stay and we loved it. Nice to have some music on and if you didn't want that you could go to the quiet pool instead. You are not allowed to eat by the pool with some guests choosing to ignore that even though it clearly states that upon entering the restraunt. The gym was also very nice but was a shame it didn't open earlier but that is run through an external company to the hotel so like again not a reflection on the hotel. As a last note, the only thing that is wrong with the hotel is clearly some of guests whom visit as for us there were no real complaints. The only gripe is it was very difficult to get the cabana beds as had to be up prior 6am which we did not do even though it states not to put any towels down before 6am but that is not a reflection on the hotel as this happens in most hotels.

Now that we have been home a day I want to make everyone aware of an incident that happened during our stay. On our first evening one of the waiters (Larbi Amedjar) came straight across to my wife at dinner, pulled out his phone and showed her a picture that he'd downloaded off my wifes facebook of our 15 year old daughter and demanded to know where she was. My wife made it very clear that she was a child however, at breakfast the next morning he carried on demanding to know where she was. We complained to one of the Tui managers who pulled him outside for a chat with us and made him open up his phone gallery. He had downloaded several pictures of our daughter, one of which she was VERY VERY young in. Obviously we were appalled and couldn't believe what we were seeing. To their credit the restaurant manager and Alana the Tui manager did their very best to handle the situation and the waiter was removed for the rest of our stay. I think future guests need to be aware though incase he is back at work in the future.

Ignore any negative reviews. We stayed at the Tikida Gardens for a week in July 2025. The staff are amazing and cannot do enough to help you. The All inclusive buffet has a great selection of dishes for every meal. Some reviews say you need to be up at 6am to get a sun bed, this simply isn’t true. People do reserve poolside beds and cabanas early in the morning but there are still plenty of empty loungers when you go for breakfast. There is an entertainment programme with activities such as darts, pool and water polo during the day. The evenings also have an entertainment programme with things such as quizzes, karaoke, white night and a Moroccan night. We enjoyed our week so much that we have rebooked to return in July 2026.

We absolutely loved this hotel! There was five of us staying (three of us in our thirties and two in their fifties) and we all enjoyed it. The food was an absolutely highlight as well as the beautiful site. We stayed for two weeks and didn’t get bored. All the staff from the people serving you breakfast to the bar staff to the cleaners were so friendly. We did tip a few at the end. You do need to get up earlieshfor cabanas but we never had a problem. Air con is a little weak so if you do get hot, bring a small fan. We didn’t have any trouble. The entertainment was great and we really enjoyed daily aqua fit. The Moroccan entertainment guy was especially fun for this! I loved Nicole’s yoga classes in the morning and did them most days. Samira was fantastic at the spa and my husband and I really enjoyed the massage package for two (around £75). In terms of excursions, we booked history tour, 4x4 atlas mountain tour and the camel ride and dinner one. I’d 100% recommend the camel ride and dinner. The rest were still good. You are safe to get the hotel provided shuttle bus into the Souks- we didn’t find the sellers half as bothersome as we though they might be- just learn how to say no and walk away if you’re not interested. We had a wonderful stay at Tikida Gardens and I can’t speak highly enough about the staff – they truly make the hotel what it is. Every member of the team goes above and beyond to make sure guests are comfortable, and their hard work shows in how immaculate and spotless the hotel, pool, and dining areas are. The pool area is lovely, though like many resorts, some guests get up at very early hours to reserve sun loungers. That said, as a couple we never struggled to find decent loungers at around 8am each day. On the occasions when we did activities in the morning and came later, we still managed to find a pair without any real issue. We also noticed that many people start leaving the pool between 4–5pm, which actually turned out to be a great time to pick up a cabana bed or loungers closer to the pool, especially since the sun is still shining until after 7pm. There’s a good variety of food each day, with some staples always available and the proteins rotated nightly. The fresh salad ingredients and pre-made salads are good, and the fruit selection is also varied. The pasta and omelette stations are lovely, with food cooked to order right in front of you. Proteins ranged from chicken, turkey, pork, and beef to seafood options like salmon, fried fish, and prawns. There were also always delicious roasted vegetables, rice, and couscous to accompany the mains. I was sceptical based on previous reviews, but as long as you’re willing to try new dishes you’ll be fine. I also think as a vegetarian you’d have plenty of options too. My partner has a “beige diet” and he enjoyed pizza, fries and pasta a lot of the time. This is reassuring as an option if there’s nothing you fancy on a particular day, or if you also enjoy beige food 😉 Overall, we really enjoyed our stay here and would recommend it to anyone who is interested.

What can I say another great stay at this hotel I have now been 7 times in over 18 months and never once seen anyone ill with food poisoning, I have seen plenty people coming in with take out from other places so maybe that's the problem. We arrived and straight away the reception staff recognise you from previous visits a welcome drink was provided and all checked in with oil 10 minutes our room was not ready but since we had arrived at 10.30am and had asked for a specific rommwas not a problem a qui change into shorts and off to pool , plenty of sunbeds were available and we waited till the text to inform room was ready, The room was up to the usual standard yes they are beging to look at bit old but still clean and tidy the air con was working so room was nice and cool. The food was as usual great and if anything you don't like the chef Rachid will do his best to cook something for you, drinks are fine the wine is drinkable. Yes the staff are very friendly but they are not doing it just for tips they really are happy to help if they can but do not expect tips but are very grateful if they do but the service does not alter either way. The clients are hotel are all friendly and you will make many new friends we had arranged to meet a couple from last year and there were quite a few who had done the same thing. The entrainment staff do there best yes it does finish at 11pm which is a shame but you can sit and chat outside for as long as you like. Overall another first class visit can't wait to be back in a few months all I will say is ignore the negative reviews everyone has a different views on a hotel give it a try you will love it

In my opinion this is not a 4 star resort. Lets start with the negatives. Sunbeds and loungers are a nightmare! you have to be up at 6am to reserve one. On holiday who wants to wake up at 6am! The management urgently need to review their policy and allow people to come in their own time and be able to have a sun bed in a decent place. Food - Very repetitive and not much options. The snacks that they advertise at 4pm is the lunch left over! no theme nights or special dishes! if you are ere more than 10 nights good luck! Rooms - Very spacious but very basic. No mirror apart from the small one in the bathroom, no shampoo, conditioner or hand soaps. Towels are thin and rough. Entertainment - Very average not enough space for people to sit - Best night was white party Onsite restaurant - Al a carte restaurant very basic Lets go to the positives Staff - all the staff are attentive and helpful, you can always ask someone for help Clean - The resort is extremely clean and staff work hard to maintain this Location - good location I wouldn't come back again, although the hotel is beautiful it doesn't match the rest of the services you would expect from a 4 star. There is no presence of any management on site and information on the hotel given at check in is nil. We tried the spa, which was average. On arrival there was a lot of people there to be signed in and reception although very helpful in explaining everything was very slow and did need more people on to help. The service was always very friendly and efficient especially in all the bars and restaurants. The food offered each night was both varied and tasty so no problem having nice meals The rooms were kept clean and the beds were very comfortable so a good nights' sleep was assured.The evening entertainment was the only let down as this was distinctly amateurish and could be improved greatly!

We came here for 2 weeks in july weather was very good the aircon is not up to standard for the extreme temperatures of morroco, The hotel it self is clean but 2 star at best,our room overlooked the quiet pool nice room the cleaner was very polite and always cleaned to a good standard,The food was not good at all very repetitive and at times only warm was a few people with upset stomachs be it the food or water? also be prepared to get up very early for a sunbed,we wouldn't go back to this hotel the staff were only after tips we felt ignored when going for food...most times didn't even get offered a drink the staff obviously had there favourite guests bending over backwards for them while ignoring others.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Even in the August heat, the pools, drinks bars and air conditioned building made this a really enjoyable stay. They were also great on our last day as they allowed us to carry on using the facilities for the day as we had a late flight. Staff were kind and courteous. Some of the buffet offerings became a little repetitive, but overall good options of food.

We had a wonderful holiday here. All staff are friendly, welcoming and respond quickly to needs. I really couldn't fault the hotel. The cleaners were lovely and did a brilliant job on our rooms. The food was wonderful with lots of vegan options available except for cakes/desserts. It would be good if they could create a vegan dessert and label it clearly. The restaurant staff are so welcoming and nothing is too much for them. The grounds were kept beautiful by hard working gardening staff. I had two treatments in the spa which I loved, a Hammam treatment and a massage. They were wonderful. I went on the TUI half day history tour which I would recommend, although when I was there I was half regretting not signing up for the whole day trip. I am so grateful to all staff in the hotel for helping to make our holiday fun and relaxing! There is a Facebook group where guests help/advise each other on various queries. I recommend joining it for small queries/information. I would recommend staying here to anyone interested in visiting Marrakech.

I last visited in 2022 when the hotel had just completed it refurbishment and am pleased that nothing has changed. Staff retention is really good here and most staff seem to be very good with guests, nothing seemed too much to ask for. There were few times I had to be up super early to get a sunbed, most of the time there are sunbeds avaliable despite people being up at 6am to mark their spots. The only downside I can note is that food is a bit repetitive if you're vegetarian and cocktails can be a bit hit and miss depending on who makes them. Entertainment has been improved, its lively most evenings - if you want a quiet room don't book anything that overlooks the pools as most Entertainment ends at 11pm. Bring a sippy thermal beaker with a straw stopper. Lots of bees about but, I've never been stung once and this is my 4th trip to Marrakesh. Its the same issue everywhere, they're lucky to still have their bee population. The hotel is clean, the housekeepers are always cheery and very helpful if you need anything extra such as coat hangers (there are 6 in the cupboard).

When reading my review, please always reflect back to the fact that we paid £2200 for ten nights. So in essence you get what you pay for. From booking, the TUI app was excellent in providing all the relevant information leading up to and during our holiday. Check-in at Manchester was excellent. With a slight delay it was a pleasant treat that the hotel provided a small buffet for those arriving late (11pm). In essence, the hotel exceeded our expectation and the fact that TUI Reps are on site is useful, it made us feel safe and were a great source of information. The food was good. It was fresh and there was a variety to suit all. The chefs and waiters always worked so hard to ensure everyone was happy and catered for. The room was ok and we had no complaints on our location in block 4. Quiet, super clean and metres from the pool. There are 4 pools. Our pool was silent, clean, relaxing and exactly what we were wanting from our holiday. For those of you looking for a more vibrant party holiday, there are activities and music by the other larger pools. The hotel seemed to effectively cater for both types of guests. We didn’t engage with any of the entertainment in the evening, or the daily activities or the spa but I believe these were all as expected listening to other guests. The bar area was expansive and the evening peanuts with our gin prior to dinner were a great free addition. A suggestion would be that there is more lighting in the bar and on the back of the bar. It always looked too dark and closed. Acoustic modern chill out music would have been a great addition to add to the holiday vibes. Our only two complaint are…The bar drinks were very poor. Cocktails were made in huge batches and therefore the crushed-ice-style-cocktails were simply water. We only drank gin and wine after seeing and sampling this. More effort could be made to personalise each cocktail. Seeing a bar person make cocktails and drinks is part of the experience and entertainment. I feel the bar etiquette was more ‘service them fast’ rather than ‘serve them well.’ And…check-in at Marrakesh for our flight home l was awful. 3 planes, 600+ people, 5 check-in desks ( plus 1 for hand luggage). Our lovely holiday left us very hot ( lack of effective aircon in the airport), annoyed and flustered after such a relaxing break. We enjoyed our holiday, we got exactly what we wanted from our break and for what we paid we were very happy. Would we return? Yes, perhaps if there was a bargain week that popped up but to be honest there are far more places in the world to see and explore.

We did enjoy our stay and the staff were helpful when issues raised. Unfortunately, one of the rooms we were allocated had dirty bedding and small biting ants in the bed. The staff quickly arranged for the room to be cleaned again, however, during the night the ants appeared again so moved rooms. No issues with the new room. Food was nice. One of our party has a nut allergy, on checking we were informed that meals were all nut free, however, some desserts do have nuts. There are labels above the desserts showing allergens for some but not all desserts. We did not fully trust the labels e.g. one label did not show nuts were used but it was a pistachio cake. More care and clarity on the labelling is definitely needed here.

Stayed for 4 days in July. Staff were all very lovely. Food was fine, nothing special but always could find something to eat. Service was wonderful. Drinks could be better, wine was nice but cocktails weren’t for me. Cheap local spirits. Basic plastic cups poolside. I would class this hotel as a good 3* hotel. Pools were lovely, never had a problem getting a sun lounger but yes it’s true people are awake at 6am putting their towels on sun loungers and don’t come back until 11am sometimes which I think is selfish. Grounds were immaculate, they work hard. Shows in the evening were good, nothing special but nice to break up the evening. AC in the room was good. Zero amenities in the room, only shower gel and hand bar soap. No lotion, toothpaste kits, shaving kits, shower caps, zero. Even after ordering on the app or checking with reception I was told nothing was available. Luckily the shop at the hotel had a razor that I could buy. Every riu I’ve been to has had amenities that could be provided if needed but not here, maybe being 4* and not 5* I’m not sure. Wasn’t an issue just couldn’t bring anything like that with me with only hand luggage and shops aren’t available in Lanzarote airport where we flew from. Sunset at the pool was our favourite part, much more chill and still music on with more choice of sun loungers and Bali beds etc. I would expect this hotel to be cheaper than we paid, but all in all it was a nice stay for a few days break

Fabulous hotel, amazing staff, great food and an oasis amidst the chaotic wonder that is Marrakech. Only slight negatives: The sun bed reservation routine was 6am! Air con poor in restaurants and bar (lobby ok) Many guests didn’t leave the hotel and missed the cultural assault to the senses that Marrakech provides. Having read some reviews I was worried but this was unfounded! Hotel was modern and clean. Staff were excellent and very friendly. They could not do enough for you. Hotel room was a decent size, with a good shower and view over the quiet pool, which meant it was away from the evening entertainment area so could not hear the music/noise from the main pool. TV had two film channels in English (channels 38 and 42). Food was plentiful and lots of choice for everyone. Lots of salads and fruit. Even chips, pizza and pasta every night for those less adventurous. The choice of desserts was amazing - not good for the waistline 😂😂 I was expecting sun bed wars, based on some reviews, but this was not the case. There were beds still available at 10am. Yes, if you have a favourite spot get up at 6am and put out your towels - the choice is yours. You can book late check out (up to 4pm) at reception day before leaving for 650 Durham. You can also change money with reception and there is an ATM. I would recommend downloading the Tui Blue app as it has the daily itinerary for the hotel. There is a shop just outside the entrance, turn left, called Mohammed’s, where you can buy crisps, chocolate, toiletries, cigarettes. You can also book excursions at reasonable rates and exchange money at a better rate than the hotel. Overall, as good experience and will book again.

Another fabulous holiday at Tikida Garden, we love the friendly staff here who now treat us like family, it’s a total relax here, I just enjoy lazy days on my sun lounger reading, it’s so lovely to have such an array of good food to choose from and if you can’t find anything you like the chefs will cook just for you! The hotel is immaculately clean everywhere you go. You can’t put your towels on sunbeds before 6am but after that it’s a free for all, if you want a certain spot then get up and out, get your towel down, have a peaceful early breakfast and then enjoy your sun lounger to just relax and read, don’t be like some ignorant people and reserve a bed and then go out for the day and then come to use it at 3pm ….that’s just not right is it?! The only thing I would like to see at this hotel is pool side waiter service, can you believe you actually have to get up ( well my husband does) to go to bar to get drinks 🍸 lol 😂 If I was being really picky a bit softer mattress would be nice but I can cope, I’ll be back next year anyway!

Hotel tikka garden This is an adult only hotel my 5th time at this hotel in the month of July. We are staying in block 400 the quietest part of the hotel. The rooms are clean bright modern with kettle,hair dryer, mini fridge air conditioned, fan and tv. Loads of wardrobe room to put your clothes and store your suitcase. Food there is a big variety day and night but if you like your British fried breakfast you won’t get that here. The alcohol drinks are strong. The staff will always go that little extra to help or serve you. Making you feel that little special. The gardens and surrounding areas are kept clean and tidy to a high standard The evening entertainment is not that good over the years we’ve been coming to this hotel we have seen the standard of entertainment dropping. We just stay in the bar after the evening meal. It’s more relaxing. I would recommend trying this place out. It’s for the young and old .

We've just got back from a 7-night stay at Tikida Garden and had a wonderful time! I would thoroughly recommend ignoring the ridiculously negative reviews about this resort. To briefly sum up: 🛏 Rooms were very clean and tidy. Maids always did a great job of freshening the room up each day. 🍴 Food wasn't an issue. Always plenty variety and everything was always cooked perfectly. ❄️ Air Con could be considered a little weak by some, but once you actually give the room chance to cool down with the ceiling fan on as well, it's definitely noticeablely cooler than outside! 🎵 Entertainment was different each night. Admittedly some nights weren't great but there were other nights that were very good! We quite like a board game or two, so some nights we just sat in the bar and had a game with a few drinks if we didn't fancy the entertainment. The music always shut off around 11pm or just after then the bar closes at 12 so its good there's a cut-off so things dont go on til the early hours. 🍹 Drinks were good with lots of variety! ⭐️ Staff were absolutely brilliant, especially Yousseff, who looked after us at every meal time and made the effort to come and say hello even if we werent sat in the area he was looking after. Nothing was ever too much trouble and there were always smiles, jokes and laughs from the staff. ☀️ Sunbeds and Cabana beds did get reserved but we had no issues in finding empty spaces. On most days we actually managed to find spare Cabana beds considering July is peak season. 🔵 TUI Reps were very helpful and on hand from the stand in reception from 9am - 4pm each day if you needed them. Honestly, it was a brilliant stay and we really encourage people to not listen to the negative reviews about loud music, food and sunbeds. I would also say, as long as you are SENSIBLE about keeping up your fluids, drink plenty of water and don't spend all day just drinking alcohol in the boiling hot sun, then you won't get any tummy issues... It's common sense really 🤷🏼‍♀️ Would definitely recommend this resort! 🌴

First class staff Reception and check in really good showed to our room by the porter who explained everything in room. I will start with Oumayma on reception who was so helpful throughout our holiday with everything we needed, thank you for helping us with all the small notes for tipping, there were helpful staff everywhere but will mention just a few, Mohammed and Amid who served us breakfast and evening meals thank you both, the three in the bar who looked after us Abderrahman Anas and the lovely Hassana thank you all. Our cleaner Jamillar who kept our room spotless throughout 370. Sun beds around the quiet pool was the only downside if you weren’t down by 6/30 no chance. The Gym was of a very good standard with Saide always on hand to help, the manager should be very proud of all his staff. The gardeners kept all the grounds manicured to a very high standard. All in all a very nice week away thank you all we will be back one day. Entertainment good but the second part of our week was so hot to sit outside so stayed with air conditioning inside Paul and Cheryl

We have just spent 10 nights at this lovely hotel. We arrived and were greeted with a welcome drink and speedy check in. Rooms are well decorated and a generous size. We also had a lovely view of the pool round the back which has the swim up rooms. The room was well cleaned every day. We absolutely cannot fault the grounds and feel that these are kept exceptionally clean and tidy by the grounds staff. We were incredibly impressed by the pool staff as we watched them most days help move sun lounges and put up parasols for people struggling. They were never far away and always offered to help before being asked. The pools are beautiful and we loved sitting by the pool with the day beds as it allowed for a middle ground of music from the main pool and the enjoyment of the jacuzzi. We enjoyed the evening entertainment and were impressed by the offer. A pool party during the day with a foam machine on a Friday and a pool party at night on a Monday. There were also great live singers and karaoke, which guests got incredibly involved in. We didn’t participate in day time activity (apart from the pool party) but the offer was there. Not pushy at all! We used the gym during our stay. It was good for what we needed but it was absolutely boiling in there and it doesn’t open until 9. We also took the free shuttle to the markets, which were definitely an experience and worth doing. Make sure you book the shuttle as we didn’t know this! We felt that the food was a little limited in choice at times and lots of similarities between lunch and dinner, but it was good in quality. If you have a varied diet, I am sure you will find lots to choice from. The al la carte was lovely and we would definitely recommend booking a visit during your stay! They do expect a tip in there though. Throughout our stay, we were waited on by Abdelghani on the right hand side of the restaurant when you walk in for breakfast and lunch. He was brilliant and made our experience so much better as he kept our drinks topped up and our plates cleared. We hope the hotel realise how great he is! There was also a manger named Rachid, who was also incredibly helpful and always asked if we were ok. He is also an asset to the hotel. We had lovely fresh omelettes most mornings and enjoyed the freshly made pasta of an evening. We would definitely recommend this hotel. It is good value for money and with a few more food options, it would become even more of an incredible place. We have been to Agadir but preferred our time in Marrakesh for sure and the weather was 10 x better!

What a fantastic hotel this turned out to be. Beautiful hotel and grounds with amazing staff that looked after us from the minute we arrived. Sunbeds - I would ignore the comments about sunbeds as we never had a problem and there were always sunbeds available. Food - was good but did lack variety but isn’t that the same at most All Inclusive hotels? Bedrooms - kept immaculately clean by the maids, beds very hard so ask for a mattress topper. Bar - staff were amazing and quickly remembered what your fav tipple was, this made for very personal service. Had the best time and would easily consider rebooking another stay at this gorgeous hotel, might make it 10 days next time as a week wasn’t really enough 🥰

The hotel itself is beautiful and the atmosphere is amazing. Food was a bit of a let down as I have stayed in Riu hotels in the past and was expecting the same amount of options however there isn't a lot to choose from really and it tends to be the same food. The A la carte food was really nice. Drinks wise you can get some bar staff which make them lethally strong and the alcohol isn't branded, my recommendations for the drinks would be the Pina colada,Martini dry with lemonade and the vodka sun. Pack a hand held fan for your trips. Outside of the hotel there is shops where you can get crisps,chocolate and drinks.

We came as a group of 4 and had the best time. All staff are so lovely and friendly, they definitely make the holiday! Special shoutout to Mohammed (wears a white shirt at breakfast and dinner) he remembered our names and served us in the restaurants every day. He went out of his way to ensure we had the best holiday possible, even sending a bottle of champagne to our room! So thank you from Darcy, Charlie, Lucy and Kien. The food is great and always fresh, especially the salad. One thing I would say is we wish there were more drink options as a lot of the cocktails were really sweet as it was mostly fruit juices! And would be so nice for there to be a snack bar after 10pm as there is nowhere to get food between 10pm and 7am. But I cannot fault anything else!!

2 week stay from early July 2025: Pros: Bar staff are great friendly and good drink maker's Food quality is good and hygienic throughout the stay Pools are clean and decent sizes for the amount of guests Rooms are cleaned to a good standard and nothing in ours was broken Bus into Marrakech is highly convenient and gives unlimited travel opportunities for free. Cons: Entertainment is poor, we stayed 14 nights and saw the first 7 nights and didn't enjoy any of these. The next 7 were repeats so we avoided all together. The reps are kind and enthusiastic but not entertainers and some little money on getting better acts and presenters is most needed. Sun beds - just enough for all to have one but the 6am no reservations rule is flouted by their own staff!!! We saw multiple bribes given to pool staff who then reserved beds before 6am and removed others. This is really discouraging and shows the staff as a whole at this resort are lacking in certain areas. Food variety - I'm vegetarian and I appreciate fake meat doesn't exist in many places. After 6/7 days however I was so sick of the same vegetables over and over. If you have any dietary requirements or restrictions I would count on this hotel being one for you. Tipping - if you don't tip the waiters/waitresses then be prepared to hear about it. We were going to tip on last day as we thought sensible but were continually asked almost daily if any "gift" was forthcoming at almost every meal. It just made dinner particularly something we wanted to avoid. This has to be sorted by Tui ASAP in my opinion. Front of house staff - We saw members asleep throughout the day in reception!!!!!! I appreciate the hours may be long but it showed as some staff really couldn't be bothered as shown when we attempted a room change due to being given a shared balcony (this is craftily hid in TUI's listing), us having to wait and eventually stuck with it. Overall we won't return and wouldn't pay more than £100 a day per person as it isn't worth it. This time we paid just shy of 1k per person for the 14 nights and think that is the limit of what we would do.

This was a very mixed trip as the hotel holds many positives but also a number of huge safety and hygiene concerns and negatives. This was especially disappointing as we were informed when booking this holiday that TUI Blue hotels were above the rest this was quickly disproven. The hotel has largely the same problems which seem to be recurring time and time again by multiple guests however these are disregarded by impertinent staff who sadly destroy the reputation of the hotel. The first concern we were met with was when we initially entered our room. This was not a good way to start our stay. As we entered the heat hit us immensely. Somehow our room was warmer than outside which seems impossible in Marrakesh. The air con was already turned on as cold and as fast as it could go however the room temperature was still 29° which is far to hot to get a good nights sleep! As it was around midnight we decided to confront this the next morning where the reception staff who wore a face of discontent responded saying they’d send someone to sort it. This was never the case and after multiple encounters with hotel staff our room remained a sauna throughout our holiday. When we talked with other guests many repeated the same or similar story as ours. Furthermore, there was one main issue which plagued the hotel. The entertainment. On the hotel app it was supposed to finish at 10:30-11pm but this was never the case. Every night you could guarantee to be listening to deafening noise until at least midnight. After our first night we confronted this with the TUI Blue manager Alana who suggested at the welcoming meeting to speak to her if we had any problems. This was clearly just words as when we approached her she was dismissive and reemphasised that they as a team enjoyed the entertainment. Shouldn’t the hotel be based around the guests not the staffs own enjoyment? Especially when people have payed around £3000 for their holiday. We did not mind the entertainment occurring as they have to suit everybody there however it was overwhelmingly loud, I have attached videos so you can hear how loud it is as if you are having a private preformance on your balcony from inside your room with double glazed windows. Our room was on the opposite side of the hotel to the entertainment and it was still too loud meaning you could not sleep till it was over. We tried moving to the main bar or reception however you couldn’t even make out what each other were saying when we were sat only 1 metre apart. There was even music on inside the bar which we were totally unaware existed until the entertainment finished as it was that loud. The next day we approached the lady who seemed to be in charge of the entertainment,Nicole, as Alana was off. This was a mistake as we left the conversation only insulted. She rudely replied to our request for them to turn the music down slightly so we could hear each other questioning in a sarcastic manner if we usually went to bed at 9:30 and laughed. This didn’t resolve the issue and seemed rather petty although she told us to speak to the hotel deputy manager if we had any concerns. Therefore the next day we spoke to Hamza the manger who reassured us that this would be changed and he intended for us to have a good holiday. This was again false as nothing changed at all and it seems as though staff don’t know how to resolve issues and also don’t care for the guests needs. This was confirmed as on our final day we spoke to the TUI rep Ayoub to see if it would be possible for the hotel to make us a sandwich or something as we would miss dinner for our flight but we also had a long car journey after our flight leaving us 12 hours hungry. He told us to use the snack bar which was open till 4 however we didn’t leave till 6:30 and in previous days we witnessed the snack bar with no food at this time. When we informed him of this he told us “it is what it is” this is actually laughable as the rep is supposed to resolve issues and improve your stay however he seemed totally incapable and out of his depth. We did go to the “snack bar” on our final day and had the choice of some cold chips or stale croissants which is hardly a meal. This next issue hugely concerns me after the working in the catering industry myself. Firstly, the range of food was minimal and had barely any Moroccan dishes and basically consisted of pizza, pasta and chips which is not dissimilar to a school canteen. This did not only occur on one night as the food at the hotel never rotated or changed making meals monotonous as you were left with pizza and chips for every meal. However more importantly there were a few tagines around a stove area which was covered in old charred food which left a disgusting sight. These dishes were clearly flash fried to keep up with the demand however this left guests eating RAW MEAT! (Including chicken) This is absolutely disgusting and perhaps gives an insight to why our whole family was left feeling severely unwell with stomach cramps and sickness. After eating this I saw there was a vegan option which was cooked in the same pan as a meat tagine without being washed. This leaves me thinking the small amount of vegan food should not be labelled as vegan as it all came into contact with raw meat. Additionally, in the restaurant one night an independent review team were in the hotel and gave out forms to fill in to some guests. We witnessed a guest fill in a form and leave it on there table to go and get some food and when they returned they were met by an aggressive waiter demanding that he changed the review to make him look good even though his service was poor. He then followed them around the restaurant. It is needless to say this was highly unprofessional and simply rude. Many staff in the restaurant areas were overly attentive as it was clear they were all arguing over tips. It was overbearing leaving you to dread mealtimes especially for women who they gave bizarre gifts which left them feeling rather uncomfortable and objectified. It seems like you are seated in a particular member of staff’s section and from that point on you are “their customer”. If you then choose to sit elsewhere, the staff will actually argue amongst themselves accusing each other of “stealing you”. This happened on multiple occasions. It led to us feeling uncomfortable. On our final night there was a pool party involving alcohol. Baring in mind I am 6’2 and the pool was up to my neck in certain areas this seems dangerous as there was no lifeguards and only Thomas and Jose who were incouraging drunk people to do headstands at the side of the pool which seems rather immature and unsafe. It is a miracle nobody drowned as it was a state of chaos with nobody in charge and just excessively loud music and foam for the pool. The pool itself also had many sharp and dangerous edges where it hasn’t been constructed properly leaving me and other guests cut and injured. In the quiet pool there is loose electrics where a light is attached also adding to the danger. If you wish to get sunbeds you must wake up at 4am as people sleep outside to make sure they get their cabana or sunbed. You don’t wish to get up early on holiday but you had to lean into this culture or be left without a sunbed as there wasn’t enough. Many guests commented on how poolside staff requested money off guests to reserve their seats for them. The lady next to us witnessed them moving some peoples towels to the ground to put their customers towels on their sunbeds. This is totally unacceptable and should be looked into by the management of the hotel as staff are encouraging the culture of fighting over sunbeds. Most of the sunbeds available are somewhat broken meaning you have to be extra careful when sitting on them so they don’t collapse they are also very uncomfortable with metal bars across the backrest. As we left the resort we requested at reception to change our Dirhams to pounds as it is a closed currency. On multiple days we watched people do this however the lady replied saying she couldn’t so “spend them or get a rid of them” with some animosity which was totally unnecessary and proves again there is no customer service at this hotel. Finally, on the bus the rep came on to ask and push for for good reviews and to use their names in review which if they had done their jobs properly they shouldn’t have to do. It is sad as Marrakesh as a city is beautiful and many Rui hotels are to a very high standard and the aesthetics of the hotel were impeccable perhaps leading to the 4 star rating however I would say many of the issues raised bring this hotel to around a 2/3 star with a 4 star price to go with it. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone unless you wish to leave with food poisoning, being harassed by staff and a banging headache.

Cons: They allow people to reserve sunbeds all day by keeping their towels out. People were getting up at 5.30/6.00am to put towels down. The room sometimes smelled of sewerage. Having to spoken to other guests, it seems to be a problem that many were having.

We have just come back from a lovely week at the hotel. The hotel is beautiful and kept clean. All the staff were friendly I was worried about the food after reading previous reviews, but I have to say we enjoyed the food and there was plenty of variety. We stayed in 300 block and the air conditioning was fine it worked and kept us cool when in the room. The Tui staff were all friendly, and there were plenty of activities for all to get involved. We sat by the activity pool every day and plenty going on around there and the entertainment staff always tried to get people involved. The evening entertainment was good. The only one we didn't enjoy was the Moroccan night. The White Party was a really good night. We will definitely be returning to this hotel.

The buffet had lots of choice and the a la carte restaurant was great. What really made this hotel though was the staff. They were so kind, helpful and welcoming - every last one of them. Me and my partner have had a thoroughly enjoyable holiday. Lovely room with good air con, a few people's Aircon wasn't as efficient and our room was in the 300's. We met a brilliant crowd of people who liked having a good laugh, the entertainment should go on until Midnight. The pools were beautiful and the staff are absolutely superb! We've had a wonderful holiday and haven't ever planned on returning to the same hotel twice but this one may well change that. I would suggest to book your excursion on get your guide as it's a lot cheaper than using the hotel.

So we went back. This time July 2025. As this is a second review, I’ll treat it as more of a follow up review. Once again, greeted with a cold drink. Check in was swift. The restaurant was still open this time so that’s a result. Hot food. Bags were taken up to the room by the porter. This always makes for an awkward experience, expecting a tip for wheeling my bag 25m and I’m sure he doesn’t work there on a voluntary basis. He was literally standing in the room staring at my pocket and almost wouldn’t leave. There are 4 pools at this hotel and the well maintained grounds continue throughout. The grounds workers are always busy keeping it looking great. WiFi throughout the hotel and is decent enough to get by. The room was nice enough. The beds are still absolutely solid though and start hurting your hips after a week! But the rooms were kept clean every day and no issues. Air con worked as well as the centre fan. The pools have varying different activity levels. The main pool has music and some games throughout the day. The smaller pool has the bar right next to it. You can still hear the music but it’s a calmer pool. There is the pool round the back of the hotel which is quieter again but it’s a trek to the bar. The bar staff are brilliant. Same staff as before, Mohammed and Hicham. They’ll start remembering your order and it’ll be poured before you reach the bar. The choice of drinks is standard as you’d expect at an all inclusive. The drinks are fine, they have alcohol in them. “Lovely Jubbly!” Breakfast and lunch is served in the restaurant by the pool. Again, the staff are great and Mohammed is always there with a smile on his face whilst running a manic restaurant. The food choice for breakfast is standard, continental choice, fruit, yoghurts as well as hot choices like fried eggs, omelettes cooked to order, sausages and bacon. Lunch is much the same, normal all inclusive buffet with tagines, salads, chips, meats, pizzas and all sorts. If you’re vegetarian, be aware they seem to mix the use of utensils when serving. I’m not, so it didn’t bother me. Dinner is served in the main hotel near to the Zanzibar bar. Again, similar to lunch but they tend to have themes, Chinese, kebab etc. plenty of choice even for fussy eaters. The Zanzibar is a nice place to sit. Ask for nuts and popcorn as a snack. They do drinks at extra cost outside of the usual menu. We tried the Culinarium this time around. A Moroccan food experience. It’s in a quieter restaurant but you’ll have to book when you arrive as it gets booked quickly. An A la carte option which lets you try some interesting dishes. Worth a go! Sunbeds. This time it was different. I assume it’s because we went in peak season as opposed to October. The signs ask guests not to put towels out before 6am. This is generally ignored and you can hear the hotel doors going at all times in the early hours for people to sneak down and reserve their beds. One couple I assume paid a Pool worker to do it on their behalf! This time, we heard rumours of security removing some towels but I’m sure that became unmanageable with the sheer numbers! Whacky Races with towels! Nighttime entertainment. This depends on what you go on holiday for. Personally, I’m not interested in the entertainment and would rather a quiet drink. However, there is music on every night. It’s loud and doesn’t stop until 23:00/23:30. Unless you can sleep through anything, it’ll keep you awake. We were as far away as we could be and could still hear it. But this includes karaoke and disco nights. I think there was a bingo night but we missed that. There is a ping pong table by the pool, as well as darts board and tennis courts. There is a spa but we didn’t use this. There is a gym which is one of the better hotel gyms I’ve used. Kitted with Technogym kit, it’s clean and it’s decent. Dumbbells, weight machines, smith press and treadmills. Plenty to keep you going for the week. Take a towel and trainers or you won’t be allowed in. Would still recommend and will still consider coming bsck. Perfectly fine for the money.

Had the most fantastic week away and I’m so glad my partner and I booked this place! Incredible food, accommodating and very polite staff, always clean and tidy, the hotel worker called Mo was so lovely and always put a smile on our faces. I loved that our room was only a short distance away from the relaxation pool, they have a total of 4 pools which gives you a lot of option to choose from. Only thing I think needs some improvement is that the beds were quite stiff and slightly uncomfortable which they could look at changing.On our last evening my partner and I had beautiful professional photos taken by Mo “the guy with the dreadlocks” he certainly knows his stuff! If you’re staying here you must have photos taken by him. It’s definitely a holiday to remember and I will 100% be coming back.

My third trip to this hotel and as always it’s been a great pleasure, there’s a main pool and then three more quiet ones which we preferred to stay by. Food is mostly the same for breakfast lunch and dinner but good quality. Rooms are lovely but beds are a bit stiff and something they could try and change but overall the stay was great! A big thanks to the hotel worker Mo who has the best hospitality ever! always smiling and asking how we are doing, also Mo the photographer with the deadlocks who took some amazing photos of me and my partner we were so pleased with them.

Had a great stay in this beautifully maintained hotel. Booked through TUI, transfers from the airport were smooth and safe. The hotel is only 20mins away from the airport which was great as it was a later flight. The staff welcomed us at RIU tikida gardens with welcome drinks before checking us into our rooms. Dinner was still available for us! Our first room was by an exit and the exit door closing woke me up multiple times throughout the night, so in morning I asked to move to another room which was in a quieter location. The reception staff were great and sorted this straight away. The second room was perfect! Clean, comfortable and a lovely view of the pool. The air conditioning was great. All pools were clean and never too crowd. We always managed to get a cabana even tho we didn’t normally emerge from our room until 9:30 - 10 o’clock. Food: a great range of food, I am vegetarian and it was really appreciated that all of the veggie food was labelled so I knew what I could and couldn’t eat. Sometimes a little repetitive but all fresh and plentiful. The TUI welcome meeting was very helpful, we booked one tour through them and another through get our guide. Both were excellent. We got the free shuttle into Marrakesh, the city is beautiful and very liberal, many tourist were in skimpy Western Clothes and drinking alcohol. The people themselves were extremely friendly and polite and I felt extremely safe. Would highly recommend a holiday to Morocco and Marrakesh.

Photographers of a night are lovely and affordable, shoutout to Ali who made our holiday memorable we spoke to him every night he’s a lovely person and our holiday wouldn’t have been the same without him! If you want to do an excursion i recommend get your guide as we got it about 1/5 of the price that the hotel was charging and we had no complaints :)

This hotel has to be one of the most customer focussed places we have ever stayed in. NOTHING is any trouble to these people. The food is great as are the facilities although the fact that you've to be up by 6am to secure a sunbed in a position that you like but if that's our only gripe then its not a lot..just a little annoying when you get there at 6am to find beds already taken and then the people dont turn up till 2/3pm..just selfish I read that the food was repetitive but couldn't disagree more. There was always a different roast on every night for those who didn't feel they wanted to try anything more adventurous. The service in the restaurant was impressive (thanks Abdullah!) although once he went away, it dropped a little. The staff were constantly cleaning everywhere and seemed proud to be working there. Got the minibus shuttle at 10 am. As we went in a heatwave, the temperature was still 40° at 11:45 pm. so if you are there in extreme heat, consider that. All in all, a fabulous hotel and a really relaxing 11 night break

Just returned from a lovely , very very hot , relaxing week at this lovely hotel . Honest review , would recommend and return , 🥰👍🏻just a few little tweaks needed in our opinion. Firstly on a positive note it really is a lovely hotel with beautiful pool areas and plenty of spaces for sunbeds in all areas , really nice 🥰👌. Beautiful reception and bar areas and lovely rooms . Restaurant areas are really nice , lots of local dishes and always a variety. The male waiters literally can’t do enough for you , so happy smiley and positive and so appreciative of any tips . Restaurant on an evening despite what any FB groups say about the dress code , do require shirts with sleeves in , no smart sleeveless shirts ( ie shirt and top sets for example with collar but no sleeves ) . We were led to believe anything goes ( obviously with the exception of swimwear )which is not the case as one of the management team in the restaurant pointed out to my hubby at evening meal this wasn’t acceptable which is fair enough but the manner in which he did so wasn’t professional at all which we found offensive and belittling . Water is in large bottles which can be stored in your room fridge to keep cool which you will need to do as most of the time the water was warm so it would be nice to know that the water you get from the bar and restaurant is cold as it is definitely needed with the weather being so hot . I had a lovely spa treatment pedicure and manicure , decent prices 👍I would say tho if you aren’t happy with it for example i waant happy with my manicure as in all honesty my young grandaughter could have painted my nails better , however I realised my concerns and the lovely lady who gave me a perfect pedicure soon took over and re did my manicure with lovely results 🥰👍 No complimentary rooms on departure day to book for half an hour as most hotels do so if you want to keep your room on you will need to pay for it until 4 pm . Just 2 female and 1 male showers to shower in down near the activity pool which weren’t the best , no where to hang clothes at and not enough showers . Was told we can’t use spa showers . Reception staff and managers need to learn from the smiley positive hard working waiters and smile more as face to face interactions with them were lacking the happy positive vibes . But on whole would recommend and return , we requested a certain room area and were given this area which was so good and really enjoyed our first stay . 🥰☀️

TUI BLUE RIU Tikida Garden is a lovely hotel with beautifully landscaped gardens. The resort feels like an oasis in the middle of the desert with plenty of activities and a great selection of pools to choose from, this really is an ideal place to relax and unwind - as long as you can deal with the heat! Food was good and plenty of variety to choose from although a little repetitive after a few days of being there, but that's as you would expect in any all inclusive hotel, so not the end of the world! Drinks taste a bit watered down, but hey, still a good selection to choose from. The staff were very attentive and always ready to help with anything you need. Rooms were clean and modern, although the resort may be a little tired and need some TLC. Still a great quality and great value for money holiday. Will definitely be considering returning in the future!

My husband and I stayed here from the end of the June for our minimoon for a week. The hotel itself was clean and had plenty of amenities that came in handy, but our room did need a bit of an update. One thing I will say is some of the staff in this hotel definitely make it. Massive shout out to Laabi who is one of the restaurant wait staff he is so kind, helpful, and attentive nothing was too much for him and it was genuinely felt that he wanted to make our stay the best it could be. The staff in this hotel work so hard from the pool and hotel bar to the glass collectors they make sure the place is always clean and that you are smiling. The drinks in the hotel are great good variety and staff would have your drink ready before you even got to the bar on a night! There is entertainment every night and can be fun if the hotel guests are a good and fun crowd. It was nice to see the hotel staff join in with the dancing too! The location of the hotel is a bit strange you are very much in the mix of things but also near nothing, the hotel shuttle bus is easy to book onto but make sure you take a fan and water because it is so hot and had no AC but can't complain too much as it is free. The food was 50/50 it tasted nice, but we personally didn't feel that there was a lot of variety especially of meat. My husband and other guests were unwell whilst we were there D&V, we are unsure what caused this, but it was reported to TUI rep and hotel were aware. We did notice an increase in hand sanitiser stations which is good that the hotel was responsive to this.

Me and my boyfriend visited end of June 2025 for 6 nights. We had such a wonderful experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel so welcome and taken care of. Check-in was available from 3pm, however we arrived at about 11am. They gave us our wristbands and we could use all of the facilities until check in and managed to get us our room an hour early. Everyone we interacted with was genuinely friendly and helpful. I just wanted to highlight a lovely photographer we met called Ali. He approached us one evening and asked if we wanted some photographs taken. We were a bit hesitant at first as we had never done that before but he made us feel very relaxed. He took about 30 photos of us with the beautiful hotel in the background and different poses. Then we sat down and had a look through the photos and actually purchased a couple pictures! They were reasonably priced about £8 for an A5 printed copy. Every night after our mini photoshoot we would see Ali and have chat with him. Ali is such a genuine and honest man, as well as a brilliant photographer. The hotel itself is in a great location, close to some shops and the dessert but still peaceful and quiet. The on-site restaurants were fantastic too — delicious food and a lovely atmosphere. The waiters Muhammad and Habeeb were so attentive and friendly. I truly couldn’t have asked for a better stay. Whether you’re traveling for work, a romantic getaway, or just some time to unwind, I highly recommend visiting. I’m already looking forward to my next visit!

Me and my husband have just spent the last 11 night here celebrating our wedding anniversary and we would both happily come back. The hotel is spotless and the rooms and communal areas are cleaned daily. The option of having 3 pools means you can either join in with the daily activities or completely relax at the quiet pool. The evening entertainment was very enjoyable with a mixture of singers, bands, bingo, karaoke and authentic Moroccan singers and dancers with something for all ages at the hotel. The food in the buffet restaurants did get a little bit repetitive, it always does, but there was always something for us to eat. The only thing I would say is that there could be more options available. You tend to get one chicken, one beef, one fish option alongside your traditional Moroccan option and a pizza and pasta station and for someone like my Husband who has Crohns he did struggle a little bit. However he mentioned this to the second head chef Rachid who from there on out cooked him something from scratch every night to ensure he was eating properly and not eating anything that would flare his condition up- which is way above and beyond. We cannot thank Rachid-second head chef enough for this. On the night of our wedding anniversary, Rachid second head chef had also prepared us a beautiful cake for us to enjoy after dinner and a lovely bottle of bubbly too, which was completely unexpected. Rachid really made this holiday go from great to brilliant and I hope his hard work is recognised. We also had some photos done by one of the hotel photographers- Mo. Whilst the other two photographers could be a little bit pushy at times and constantly asking if we wanted photos, Mo introduced himself to us once, asked if we wanted some pictures and when we said we’d think about it, he left us to it. He took around 30 pictures of us around the stunning hotel grounds and let us pick which ones we wanted and printed them for us there and then. The prices were very reasonable (100MAD) for a 8x7 picture, which is roughly £10 give or take. We must also mention how great of a job Alana is doing at the hotel as the experience manager. We did come across a couple of little niggles whilst staying here, but with one mention of it to her and it was sorted straight away. She’s so friendly and approachable and can tell she really cares for her customers at the hotel. The staff here in general are all very helpful and friendly, always saying hello and ready to ask any questions you have. The staff here generally seem to be happy and it was great to see them enjoy themselves at times with the guests- for example having chefs, glass collectors and management up dancing with guests at the evening entertainment was lovely to see. I mentioned to my husband that it’s something we’ve never seen before and in most cases would have been reprimanded by management and told to get back to work. We’ve loved our time in Morocco and we will certainly be back and will strongly consider coming back to this hotel.

Cons: There was often a very bad smell coming from the drain in the bathroom when we would come back from the pool area. It would come at night aswell. I found the food was a bit samey. It was good but it was samey. Pizza and pasta wasn’t great. Pizza base wasn’t nice and pasta was over cooked. I also did not like that in the buffet the coffee was very a machine with powdered milk. It was not the best but the coffee at the bar area was real coffee and milk.

Aesthetically this hotel is gorgeous and we had a lovely stay , but there are a few things that let it down. It was incredibly clean , gardens were beautiful, rooms a decent size with nice beds . Staff were very friendly but in most cases , not all they were a bit underwhelming in their service . Dinner was a frustration to get plates cleared away, any drinks etc etc . I very much got the opinion if you weren't tipping you wasnt get served . As it wasnt due to lack of staff . Unfortunately I am someone who will happily tip for good service but not to get it . Bfast getting a coffee etc very hard work , or they would bring coffee but no milk. Food we came to the conclusion if you are happy to eat all of your meals early you will get a far better experience . It isnt a hotel that provides endless options , although the offerings were ok . However when a lot of better things ran out like desserts etc they just wasnt replaced. We couldnt even get vanilla icecream at 2pm on one lunch and they only ever did the same three flavours. The lack of information in the room regarding all the facilities such as breakfast, lunch and dinner times was a bit annoying. Would have helped with a small map or something to navigate around the hotel area.

Check in was fast and good, staff were friendly and helpful including the security staff, there were staff we saw throughout our stay that served us in the 2 restaurants they were so helpful and we personally thanked them for making our stay so welcoming, we had torrential rain on one of the evenings which flooded part of the restaurant and areas within this hotel and we were impressed with the staff and the manager all working together mopping up and clearing up the water as quickly as they could with no complaints, we loved the relaxed vibe around the pool, even though the hotel was full and busy it was not rowdy or noisy and we were never rushed when we had our meals the staff was so attentive and kept refilling our tea and drinks at the table, the choice of food was fantastic, plentiful and fresh. We absolutely loved our stay and we will return to this lovely hotel.

We enjoyed our trip very much. But I will say the hotel is set in a less than salubrious area and the entrance to the hotel needs attention very shabby. Once inside the reception area, it's extremely nice. We are of a generation that much prefer not to need to access apps. We think the old ways are much simpler. A map of the resort and a large board with activities displayed by reception is perfectly adequate. We also would have like to extend our stay but it wasn't possible as reception staff can't take any bookings in person. The food at the hotel is perfectly adequate but not exceptional, sadly. The staff are extremely kind and helpful in all the restaurants. The bars not quite so friendly.

Two of us spent last week at the Tikida Gardens. We enjoyed a peaceful & chilled holiday and would recommend. The staff are helpful and pleasant. The food was nice & the drinks flowed easily, bar staff being swift & professional. In the restaurant we had excellent service morning and evening, from Amin, the best waiter there. Our wine glasses were never empty! The rooms are spacious, functional and clean. Lovely big shower, safe, kettle & decent hairdryer. The public areas are kept clean and pools look lovely, but are freezing cold! The entertainment was low key in the day & you only know what’s on by using the Tui Blue app, which wouldn’t work at all!! Evening entertainment not great, bingo, quizzes, karaoke etc. There is a free bus to the square. We ended up at an artisan craft centre, some lovely goods to peruse & haggle over, with a lot less hassle than you get at the square and bizarre. On the whole we had a very pleasant stay and would go back.

Second stay in four weeks for us. All the staff are welcoming and go above and beyond to make your holiday the best it can possibly be. The Riu Tikida Gardens is like a home from home for us and the staff are like an extended family. Small issue with Room but was managed very quickly and efficiently. Food amazing as always plenty of choice and cooked to perfection. Third trip booked to go back before leaving.

The food, for an all-inclusive, was excellent. Overall, the staff were all very accommodating. The public areas, both inside and out, were kept very clean. And hotel security was good. The location was a little far from the centre, in an area typically Moroccan, which gave a feel of the real Marrakesh.

Cons: The shuttle, to the medina, could have either a greater capacity, or greater frequency. You had to book at least 2 days in advance to be certain of a place on the bus.

Breakfast was what you would expect in an AI. Omelettes always my fav & they did not disappoint. They did these square breads that they fried - delish! Tasted just like the hot donuts you get at the seaside. Lunch and dinner were again good for AI. The special dinner in the Moroccan restaurant was a nice change, book early as they get full. One word of warning, if you want "special" attention from the waiters tip them on your first night, then they'll keep refilling your wine glass. If you don't (as we found out) you have to keep asking for it to be filled. It became a bit of a battle of the wills in the end!! Until we found one waiter who was really nice despite us not tipping him. So the following night we did - he earned it :-) The pool areas were great, always very clean and sun beds were great, especially the sofas. Entertainment was good every night. Cocktails were mainly VERY sweet & I couldn't taste the alcohol. My husband had a few gin & tonics & said he couldn't taste the gin once!

Cons: Waiters that were extremely friendly when you first walked in then totally ignored you the next night if you hadn't tipped them! Beds were VERY firm. I actually ended up with bruised hips after lying on them for the 2nd night.

Two different buffet venues for different times of the day - really lovely. Food good for all inclusive. Service usually good. I suggest you tip well at the beginning of your stay & try to sit in the same area of restaurants. Helpful reception. Loads of parking - but don't hire a car! We drive everywhere but just not worth the hassle here. Ask for a room with afternoon sunshine. Top floors have solid walls. 1st floor glass balconies. Definitely stay here again.

Cons: It was dead, I booked a retirement home to celebrate my birthday. The drinks were premade in a jug. You had to pay if you wanted a glass of champagne. There was no entertainment at night. No service at pool, you had to go and get your own drink and in the buffet. The food was ok, we left the resort everyday for food and fun. It literally felt like we was in a prison. If your looking to be secumed by cigarettes and 65 and up crew this is the place for you. Two drink max after 10:30pm.

We had a really great time at Rui Tikida Gardens, which contributed to a fantastic holiday in Marrakesh. The hotel itself is very clean and very well looked after. The food is very nice with several options. The facilities are great, and the outside area is beautiful. It is not a large resort but that contributes to its charm. The staff are very attentive and very welcoming. The waiting staff were particularly good, and you could see the rapport they developed with the guests. The entertainment and activity staff were also brilliant. They definitely contributed to the enjoyment of our stay, especially facilitating us playing French Boules ever morning and during the evening entertainment too. There are also several health and fitness classes you can partake in, these were also great. In particular, the salsa class. The teaching was so good, it meant I wasn’t completely terrible. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel to anyone, and we are considering going back again next year.

The report itself was lovely, but the rooms are in serious need of an update. The room I stayed in had two leaks, one from behind the toilet and another from the sink, it also had a disruptive noise on the ceiling fan. We called reception a few times to make improvements and it took hours to have it sorted. Other than that the resort was lovely, rooms a bit small but it was manageable. I would recommend, only if you don’t plan on spending much time in the hotel room. Staff was lovely, food was ok, and location wasn’t too bad.

Only spa unfortunately is not up to standard, very rushed treatments, scrub literally takes 2 minutes, therapists don’t have good manners, normally just talk to each other or sit on their phones when you walk in, have long nails and wear rings/watches during massages, on both occasions I did not enjoy spa. We also booked a couple massage, therapist had phone in her pocket which kept vibrating and they just talked to each other and laughed. Felt very uncomfortable

For a four star hotel the facilities and services offered are great and provide excellent value for money.

Cons: Hotel is let down by the front desk staff which was, apart from some exceptions, quite unfriendly and unhelpful and with an off attitude. My iPhone cable broke and needed to charge my phone for just a bit before trying to source a different one and not one person willing to help me really. Same for answering any one of the queries we had. Even such a basic question like where will the shuttle to town drop us off was met with rolling of the eyes and stark responses. It’s such a shame as otherwise all was great. The waiters in the restaurant were so great though. We were put in the part of the hotel above the bar/restaurant and was told it’s an “upgrade” - we did not want this as new that even though it’s an upgrade to a pool view it was the loudest part of the hotel which we specifically did not want. We were told there is no availability to be put anywhere in the category of the room we booked. We upgraded ourselves by paying extra for one of the pool side rooms but had we not been willing to do that we probably would spend the week grumpy in a hotel room we didn’t book.

It is a lovely hotel with beautiful gardens. Most of the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful.The rooms are big and spacious. Be aware if you are in a room in the main building you can hear music playing downstairs till 11pm. Unfortunately the aircon didnt work in our room and the staff member who came to 'fix' it didnt know how to. I left feeling quite tired after 2 nights of having a very hot room and not sleeping too well (im used to cold rooms). The all inclusive meals are great. The alcoholic spirits are a bit questionable but theres a good selection available and you will find something you'l like. Overall a lovely relaxing hotel and would definitely return.

Cons: Where do I start.. The food was terrible, no variation, tasteless and just horrible all together. Dinner was un-edible to the point that we ate nothing the first night and went out for dinner the second night. Also the cocktails were terrible with very cheap brands. They are better off not serving food and drinks. Then the lack of annimation - having stayed in many Rius I can honestly say this was dissappointing. We saw 1 girl maybe 10 minutes each day. No Riu parties, no pool activities nothing. The rooms were decent but dated, they also had a leak in the bathroom due to maintanance issues. In addition the staff after confirming the day before that we did not need to book a taxi to the airport upfront as it would only take 2 minutes, We ended up waiting for nearly 20 minutes. Then after the manager confirmed we could shower at the spa, We ended up in a big discussion. And finally the Taxis outside are a big scam they are charging 3 times as much for the same trip as a regular taxi or inndrive. All in all, I would not reccommend this hotel at all. It mught be because of the rebranding to Tui Blue, but the service and facilities were not on point.

Cons: Reception staff weren't very friendly at all, which was surprising considering every other member of staff, especially ALL the waiters/waitresses were exceptionally friendly and couldn't do enough for you! We dealt with 2 members of staff on reception who must be the regular staff as they were on shift for the days we were there. They were very abrupt, unwelcoming and spoke to you with a dismissive tone! Not very friendly at all!! They let your team down and need some training in how to deal with customers, especially as they are the first members of staff you meet when you arrive, so it doesn't give you a great first impression! I don't recall their names, but one was an older blondish lady and a young dark haired girl. Credit to all your waiting staff, they made up for it!

Great resort off the beaten path. 10 min can ride to the Medina or the resort offers a free shuttle, but nothing after 1830 pm, which is inconvenient. Rooms are comfortable and clean. Mostly quiet property. Could hear some noise in the hallways and one day they were drilling something right outside our room in the morning. The air conditioning is not very strong or cold, but that seems to be the norm in Morocco (nowhere we went our entire stay had decent air conditioning like the U.S.), but kept the room around 78F (25C). The highlights were the pools. So clean. So refreshing. Nice and comfortable. No screaming or splashing children. Music at the pool was at a comfortable level so you could still talk, read, nap, etc. staff were extremely friendly and easy to communicate with. The food choices were limited but we ate every day. Mostly caters to British/European travelers, but in their defense, that is 90% of their demographic at this resort. We were the only American we encountered. Would have appreciated some scrambled eggs, bacon, hashbrowns and avocado - but we made due. We had dinner 1 night at the resort, which was adequate, but again, nothing spectacular. We went off site for dinner the rest of our 8 days. Overall, would stay again. A few minor changes needed to the noise level, a/c, and food choices, but nothing major. We had a wonderful time and would return.

I saw lots of reviews about how people didn’t like the food - but we loved the buffet! Yes it might get a bit repetitive if you’re here for a week but just go out to a local restaurant if you get bored! We thought there were plenty of options.

- Staff at the bars and restaurants are lovely and go above and beyond for you. - Our room was ideal for both of us, lots of space and a lovely balcony. It was cleaned daily. - Pool staff cleaned pools daily in the morning and would always assist you with whatever you needed. - Pools are really nice and spacious. - Endless supply of food and drinks. Drinks selection for soft drinks is great. Big bottles of water are given out freely at the reception bar. Only one option of beer, red/white/rose wine. - Activities such as aqua aerobics were run daily at the pool. This always got a great crowd and the individuals running the activities were always enthusiastic and encouraged everyone to join in.

Cons: - It is not listed on Booking.com but this hotel is a TUI Blue hotel. We were unaware of this. Therefore, the majority of the hotel is catered to individuals who book with TUI. As a result we were not informed as to what the hotel offers in terms of live entertainment etc. Prior to arrival it was advised to download a RIU guest app - this app only contained restaurant/bar opening hours. Towards the end of the week we found out about a the TUI Blue app which has the details of the hotel entertainment including locations and times. Therefore we missed out on many amenities the hotel offers including the ability to book the tennis courts. - We had multiple dealings with the staff at reception and they were never friendly. Any question which was asked was always a bother. Despite the large size of the complex we were not advised where any amenities except the restaurant were upon checkin. The location of our room was not even disclosed. - Upon arrival, we had a horrific experience with a hotel porter. We arrived late and were advised by reception to have dinner and a porter would drop our bags to the room. After dinner, our bags were still at reception so we went to get them. However, a porter made us take our luggage off our backs and carted them to our room. It was implied that this was necessary and we were not allowed to bring them ourselves. When we reached our room the porter brought the bags into the room and would not leave the doorway of our room until he was tipped. - Entertainment is held the outdoor forecourt nightly. The majority of rooms surround this area. This entertainment is listed to finish at 11pm. However, on a few occasions this lasted until 11:30pm. This is something that is nice to do after dinner. However, it is extremely loud. Despite our room being a good distance from on the entertainment, it was still possible to hear absolutely every word of the entertainment nightly.

Cons: The evening entertainment was very poor except for one night when the dj played Bob Market and reggae music. One night had loud dance music, there was a drinking game, and a head shoulders knees and toes game, which in an all adult hotel is a bit much. We also had a mock up moroccan wedding which was desperate, and a karaoke night which meant guests were entertaining themselves.

Overall a very stylish resort. Food was plentiful and of good quality. Staff were friendly. The only negative comment would be that the resort did not seam in a very good part of town and I would be very wary of wandering out with the resort. 24 hr security in place so felt safe within the resort. Entertainment on the two nights we were there was ok and all inclusive drinks whilst not premium brands were good.

This is the second time back to this hotel and it did not disappoint- the service staff are amazing and could not fault them! The hotel and the facilities are amazing. Very clean and well organised! Food is really good too!

Cons: Location isn’t great if you want to be able to walk out of the hotel for a stroll taxi is needed ect. Reception staff are a little rude but it’s not the end of the world.

The Staff were absolutely exceptional. Everyone was kind welcoming and made an effort to remember you and engage with you whenever you were around. I was also pleasantly surprised by the quality of the buffet, as it seemed to be one of the main negatives talked about in other reviews. But there was plenty to eat if you are open to trying Moroccan/ North African cuisine. It was all very tasty. Facilities were good too, with plenty of pool room and we really enjoyed water aerobics every day

Cons: There's a lot that Tikida Gardens could improve on. Most importantly the Air conditioning. It is true that we visited in the middle of July, and temperatures were very high, but our room never got below 26 degrees at night. which is incredibly uncomfortable for sleeping. There also seemed to be an air of disorganization in the hotel. The rules for eating or 4pm snack changed twice during our 1 week stay. we went from being seated indoors and waited upon to only being allowed to eat outside. On one occasion we were offered tin foil instead of plates which takes the shine of what is advertised as a luxury resort. Most egregiously, the taxi that we booked and paid for through the hotel for our trip to the airport for a very early flight came more than 30 minutes late! We were at the lobby 15 minutes in advance of the taxi's booked arrival time at which time I asked if the taxi was confirmed and on the way. To this I received the response "You booked and paid? Ok, it's no problem". As I stressed out about my late taxi, the night porter seemed very unbothered. We made our flight by minutes.

The place was beautiful, and looked well maintained. It was a nice looking resort and there was good customer service. I enjoyed that I could easily get a taxi or the shuttle to the Medina. I typically used taxis only because I wanted to go other places than the Medina. Overall, as I solo traveler I felt very safe and I enjoyed my stay

Cons: There is a sewer problem in my room. The smell of toilet could overwhelm the room. I absolutely could have complained but my stay was only 4 days. They truly need to fix this. I was extremely tempted to buy bleach to kill the terrible smell. It does creep the out the room. I just kept the door closed to the bathroom because but omg is it bad. You’ve been warned lol. The other issue is I didn’t like the food. I personally didn’t eat there often and ate elsewhere for dinner. But for breakfast and lunch it was okay. They didn’t replace cups or salad often, and I felt th are t I was eating in a high school cafeteria. But I’m just used to better and for the price? Can’t complain too much.

This hotel is fantastic! My husband and I went for a long weekend beginning of July. The hotel is beautiful and very clean. 4 different pools. Some have music others not - something for everyone. Personally we like music around the pool. The food in the restaurant is top class and again there is something for everyone. The staff are what make this place - so incredibly helpful and pleasant. The rooms are clean and adequate with lovely pool views. Entertainment during the day consisted of water aerobics & other water games. There was entertainment every night whilst we were there we experienced karaoke night, Moroccan night and 80s/90s night. All very good. We will definitely be returning.

Very clean hotel. Excellent pool and outdoor facilities. Loved the Balinase beds. All staff very friendly and very helpful. We only stayed 3 nights and other reviews mentioned food. We found the food to be good. Good selection and very well presented. It's what you expect from an all inclusive. I can imagine it may get repetitive on longer stays but we were very happy.

Cons: The drinks as always in an all inclusive are not the best but no worse than any other all inclusive, it's what we expected. Entertainment was a bit basic but did not affect our stay.

The room was spacious. The view was awesome, and the ambiance was really nice. The waiting staff were the real star of the hotel. The food selection was quite varied and was not repetitive at all, but the selection during lunch service was very limited. Make sure to take some pictures with the photographers that stay in the resort during the afternoon and early evening as they charge a reasonable price for good quality pictures.

Cons: The hairdresser in the spa was absolutely incapable of cutting men's hair. He absolutely ruined my hair and almost ruined my entire vacation. Please, make sure never ever visit the spa barber. I had to go out to Medina and find another barber to try to fix my fade. Also, to note, they didn't even bother to refund me (it was a pre payment service), let alone to at least apologize. No toiletries such as body lotion and body wash in the room. The AC in the rooms never worked. The gym only opened from 9 am till 1 pm and then from 3 pm till 7 pm, which was such an inconvenience for people who like to work out first thing in the morning. You couldn't get any sunbed as other guests would occupy them with a towel very early in the morning. I was kinda disappointed to see pork and pork dishes during meals and also to see it being served right beside other food as I wrongly assumed it's a Muslim majority country, so all the food would be halal. I suggest that they at least add a halal symbol on the food labels and serve pork completely separated to avoid cross-contamination.

Front desk staff was not very not very accommodating after cancelling one of our rings just 24hrs before we arrived! They tried to split our group up and have us stay at separate resorts as the fix! It’s all inclusive but no access to food or drinks after a certain time at all and the drink options are very limited. It’s just not the place to come unless you just want to get somewhere and relax the entire time. Our group wasn’t looking to party however, we would’ve like some more entertainment even the pool closed at 6pm why at this all adult resort it’s still daylight and the pool is closed come on???

Cons: The food was wasn’t great. Although there were many options, we expected the quality and taste to be better, especially for the price we paid. We went in February (weather was in the high 20s) and the swimming pools were absolutely freezing making it pretty unbearable to stay in there longer than a few minutes. (Explains why the pools were always so empty). Extremely disappointed by this as the stunning pools were part of the reason we chose this hotel. Our room generally was great, however, it definitely could have been a little cleaner, especially in the bathroom.

The resort itself is absolutely stunning, there’s beautiful palm and citrus trees everywhere. Birds are all around chirping and hoping about. It’s like a paradise. There’s loads of sun activities to do like bowls, tennis, volleyball and more. The sun beds are great and super comfy with loads of garden pillows for added comfort. Loved everything about it!!

Beautiful hotel, couldn't recommend it more. Earlier in the trip, we stayed more centrally, which was also fun to experience central Marrakech, but we spent the end of our stay here and it was so relaxing. The pools and grounds are incredible, you can tell they take a lot of pride in it. Plenty of choice in the restaurant and shoutout to Youssef for always being so welcoming. I enjoyed a hot stones massage in the spa, which was lovely. I'd read some reviews mentioning the donkey being tethered so was pleased to see he has his own pen now, with many guests bringing him apples.

Cons: It was a shame we couldn't get in the 'bookable' restaurant as we were only there 3 days so it was already full. That said, no qualms with the food and variety in the main restaurant.

Staff at the dining areas treated us very differently compared to yt customers. We were always last to be served or fully ignored when we needed something. Staff everywhere else was friendly and helpful. Not the place to stay if you want a moroccan experience. It is also in the literal slums so not safe to leave walking. Cons: Unfortunately, my stay was marred by significant noise disturbances which greatly impacted my comfort and ability to rest. During my stay, I was assigned room number 110, which, to my dismay, was situated directly above the area where live music (on the first night) and a DJ set (on the second night) were being performed. Despite my anticipation for a peaceful and relaxing stay, I found it nearly impossible to get a full night's sleep due to the excessive noise levels and the vibrations caused by the loud music permeating through my room. The relentless noise disturbance not only disrupted my rest but also affected my overall enjoyment of the stay. As a guest, I believe it is reasonable to expect a certain level of comfort and tranquility, especially during nighttime hours. Regrettably, this was not the case during my time at this establishment. I understand that hotels may host events and entertainment for their guests' enjoyment. However, it is imperative that measures are in place to ensure that such activities do not infringe upon the peace and comfort of guests, particularly those occupying rooms in close proximity to the event space.

Cons: Only one outdoor bar, do think they could benefit from a swim-up bar with the number of pools they have on site. One of the pools was very far from the bar. They don't have many irons so we were asked to return the iron within the hour - the one we received was broken, it leaked water everywhere.

The only downside was return journey stopped at 18:15. But the best part of hotel were the staff. From the check in desk, the bar, restaurant, cleaning staff. All were polite, efficient and any help needed done with a smile. So would definitely come back again.

The garden areas are lovely and well maintained No waiting for restaurant tables or bar service. Lots of seating available around pools and main reception and bar at the time of our stay. Liked the quietness around our room and nearest pool. Liked the lack of enforced entertainment. Liked it was adult only. Loved the decor in the main reception area and the ornaments in the restaurant. Apotecuared the positive response to a mattress topper being provided as the bed was too hard.

Cons: Lots of flies in our room (36 at the last count). More toilets please by restaurants and closer to pools. Lots of food available but never hot enough temperature. Also, often tasteless and over greasy/oily. 2 x days lunch and dinner choices were really tasty, remaining 4 nights the choices were very average.

Amazing facilities with wonderful pools. There were multiple different areas where you could relax. The food and drinks had a great variety! I would 100% return here. It is a fantastic hotel.

Cons: It is not something that I didn't like, but it is good to know that if you don't have a package deal or a rep you do need to ask a few questions. The staff, especially the bell boy, will expect a tip and might not leave your room. There is a free shuttle bus to take you to the markets, but it doesn't really drop you to the centre, and it can be confusing. However, these are very small issues and more of a tip if you are travelling without the rep.

Absolutely amazing place,with very friendly & helpful staff. Super clean everywhere, nice atmosphere. Outdoor pools, lovely garden just gives you a great feeling. The food is absolutely delicious, so many varieties for everyone. You feel completely spoiled.

Cons: The indoor pool is absolutely beautiful, and free, but I missed the steam &sauna - which I think should be free as well.

Cons: My room a was quite close to the bar area so it was a little noisy at night but not excessively so, unfortunately each morning the staff woke me up at 6:30 by getting things ready for the day, I think the sound insulation needs looking at around the doors?

Excellent facilities with many pools to relax at and a great walking route around the property with views on the gardens and palm trees. All inclusive was great, with loads of choices on the food and drinks. Shuttle service for commuting to city center was also great and free of charge, 5-6 times a day.

4 out door pools Large room balcony Rooms clean daily if you put sign out. Food plentiful For the price winter sun we went 27 Jan to 6th Feb and got a good deal however a month or so later on in the year the price can more than double and more some. The indoor swimming pool Daily free bus into centre. The Morrocon restraunt we could only use once in 10 days but it was a great meal chicken tagine was great.The spa was reasonable priced and definitelyrecommend. The donkey on site. Orange trees. Cash machine to take currency out at reception chatged us £2.75 each time we used it. Tui reps were engaging we spoke to them once.Stunnung looking reception and good reception staff and security seeing you to a taxi which we appreciated and tipped.Taxis cheap and reception can help and a good 3 course meal we usually spent £10 to 15 per person on a few occasions instead of eating at the hotel and came back for the all inclusive drinks which are open till 12 as there's only one bar open in the evening there's usually a bit of a que. When you arrive you have two bottles of water in your room and a fridge but if you want more water simply ask at the bar. We requested extra pillows multiple times never recieved them.The bar and reception the design is beautiful ornaments etc in the bedroom we had a large mirror opposite bed when you switch on turns part into TV inside nice touch. Balcony was nice size. All mod cons huge shower. Two big single beds.

Cons: Having to have tui app to request toilet roll shower gel etc and some things requested we're never brought. Some fittings loose in bedroom. sunbeds lots we're ripped in a bad state. The pools were to cold to go in to even though weather was 24 to 27c. Food very repetitive do not cater for intolerant like gf. Pasta and chips pizza , salad at every meal. We booked and went to other restraunts to try tradional moroccon Food disappointed not enough moroccon Food at the buffets having been to previous hotel in Morocco found this disappointing. When at the buffet first few days ud get seen to a seat and asked if you want a drink however this soon changed and was clear only for a tip and waiters would give you bracelets and have remarks following shift not my friend if you didn't tip and you couldn't get your own alcohol drink etc in the buffet so we had to walk out and to the bar and back just to get a drink , staff would call names like boss etc in jest. The all inclusive bier special was the beer and on tap was coke and sprite etc standard 2 small plastic glasses a time. Entertainment all on tui app all in the bar 2 screens football on but Entertainment was a weekly rota of bonkers bingo a bank morrocon music and quiz night lasted for about a hour nothing else avaible. To long of a walk to anything but you can order a taxi easy enough.There is a shop in hotel souvenirs massively overpriced for example a fridge magnet 50dinas in centre 6.50 to 10 exactly same. There's shop outside Mohammeds still very expensive compared to going into the centre. We booked trips of get your guide and Mohammed was charging over 3 times more for exact same trips. You have 2 card's for towel however after mid day it's hard to get a towel and some are rather worn bit bobbled but do the job but little thing's which they can improve on.

Very nice staff. Large luminous rooms. Nice outdoor environment in the hotel premises, with walking path, several swimming pools, sun decks, tennis courts,... Large buffets with varied different choices. Special Moroccan restaurant on reservation included in the package. And don't forget the bars also at the swimming pool.

Cons: The noise from the corridors is not filtered : we heard it all in the rooms we had. This is not so nice either in the late evening, or early morning when you hope to enjoy some rest during your holidays. I was happy to have taken earplugs with me. Not so easy to solve, maybe a double door in the room entrance ?

Very clean and beautiful hotel. The room is clean and nice. Perfect surroundings for a relaxing vacation.

Cons: The hotel is located a bit far from the Medina. There are some shuttle buses from the hotel, but they only depart from around 10-18, so if you wish to stay in the Medina at night you have to take a taxi. If you wish to spend time in the Medina at night, perhaps a hotel closer to it would be preferable. It is however easy to get a taxi to and from the hotel. Costs around 100-150 dh. The food is okay, but not outstanding. You should definitely book a meal at the local foods restaurant at the hotel! Very good food there.

Food was ok, although not varied. Same goes for drinks. The staff was overall very nice. The pools are very clean (not the rooms though).

Cons: Rooms and items in them are worn out (for ex. torn towels). The rooms are not well insulated - you can hear EVERYTHING. The indoor pool is available for free for what feels like random hours (between 11 and 15). The gym opens only at 9. And you have to have a towel per person that you bring from your room! Poorly managed. Poor quality overall.

Beautiful pool area and gardens. Very relaxing away from hustle and bustle of the Medina. All staff super friendly and helpful. Just a really lovely atmosphere. Great breakfast with lots of choice. Late afternoon snacks were a nice touch.

I visited Tikida Garden Jan 3rd-10th. I enjoyed my stay. The staff is the winner at this location. Everyone was super nice, helpful and overall pleasant. Where they sadly lost points, the food was mid, the drinks were ...... boring, the pool needs to be heated because boy was it frozen. Beautiful but you could not enjoy it. Would I go back yes, but I'd try another location first.

The hotel reception, pool and restaurants were all great. Very clean and well kept. The food was great with lots of choice and good quality. Our room was spacious and comfortable.

Cons: The surrounding area is not that nice so there isn’t a nice walk from the hotel. It didn’t bother us as we just chilled and took the courtesy bus to the city.

Beautiful hotel, exactly like the pictures. The staff were friendly and so helpful. I have a peanut allergy and couldn’t eat the desserts on one of the nights so a chef went to kitchen and bought me a selection of desserts! Very easy to order to order taxis to the souks (100 dirham during the day and 150 at night) there’s a cash point at reception as well. Plenty of bars and restaurants and the spa was lovely as well. It was a great stay for my birthday.

Pretty much everything. The hotel rooms are comfortable, clean and spacious. The hotel staff is very friendly and professional and they are always attentive to customer's needs. Food is super nice, although creativity may improve it. A special thanks to the restaurant, outside bar and Zanzibar staff: they are amazing. Transfers to the city went pretty well, since there weren't many guests at the hotel. All the facilities - gardens, tennis courts, pools, gym, etc - were well taken care of. On the last day it was possible to keep enjoying everything after check out and to store our luggage. There are many activities, during the day and the APP blue works if you have to book them. The bar entertainment is mostly aimed at Brits (bingo, type of music, etc) but the crew was making an effort to change it a little . Super nice! Perfect staying.

Cons: Just some reccomendations, nothing serious. The reception staff is nice but some important information should be given at check in. The indoor pool is paid during the afternoon (after 3pm); if you want to go to the city there should be a way to take a lunch pack, since it's all included, also, there's nothing to eat between 5pm and 7 pm (some snacks, toast would be nice in the bar) so don't skip lunch and the short snack between 4 - 5 pm. They told us that Morroccan cuisine specialties are only available on Thursdays, maybe one more day would be nice for short stays.

The resort was GORGEOUS! Beautiful design both inside and out. Absolutely stunning.

Cons: It was extremely boring. And food was very limited and strict on when you can and couldn’t eat and which bar you could order from. For an all-inclusive resort I expect to be able to come back from a night out and grab a late night snack! Also there was horrible entertainment. Not fun at all.

Lovely hotel, situated a little out of the main city. We visited as mother and daughter with 2 seperate rooms, mum has slight mobility problems, no issues at the hotel. Reception staff very professional, willing to assist and helpful, particularly Diaa. Food is good and plentiful, lots of fresh fruit and veg, good amount of choice for vegatarians and meat eaters alike. The chef comes out of the kitchen and checks the guests are happy. Lovely chap! There is a restaurant you can sit in if you want to do this rather than the buffet. We didn't get to experience this unfortunately as it was fully booked by the time we thought to try it half way through the week. Book it when you get there if you want to use it. All of the waiting staff are fab, very helpful and really look after you. Especially Amin! We had a pool view room on the ground floor, spacious and comfortable, walk in showers. Water, tea and coffee supplied in room. Mini fridge in room. The inside and pool bar are both great and choice of drinks very good. Wine, lager, local spirits, cocktails. Again, great staff at the bar, happy and helpful. There are four outside pools, one by the bar that is quite laid back and two others behind the main reception where there is more music and activities going on. The fourth pool is set on the side of the hotel and is a quiet area if you prefer that. The outside pools aren't heated and although lovely to sit beside and sunbathe, not really useable in November except by the most brave and hardiest. There is an indoor heated pool which is lovely and we made use of this. This is open for general use from 11am-3pm otherwise you need to book it but we found that was more than plenty and it was never rammed. Free shuttle into the old town from the hotel operates from 10am-6.30pm. Make sure you book this at reception if you want to ensure an early place. The market is fun but crazy, keep to the right!

Cons: The corridors can be noisy due to everything being tiled, could do with a little sound deadening as noise can echo into the room. Didn't bother me as I use earplugs but mum noticed. Not much in the way of complimentary toiletries apart from hand soap and what I think is body wash in a dispenser in the shower, I would have expected some conditioner/conditioning shampoo at a 4 star.

Cons: The pools were not heated and freezing. They were very unused by most customers which was a great shame. The food was a bit samey and after 4 days not interesting at all. I had a bad stomach on day 5.

The food was amazing, comfy beds and room, great showers and overall facilities. Felt very luxurious without being snobby, so very relaxing. We felt taken care of by the lovely staff who went out of their way to be friendly and helpful. Overall a great experience for a relaxing week which was exactly what we were looking for.

Cons: The swimming pools were stunning and lots of space around them for lounging but they aren’t heated. So in November they were chilly! There is an indoor heated pool for the wimps!

The room size was excellent, the pools were lovely and clean. Staff was attentive and always smiling and chatty. Overall the buffet and the drinks are truly all inclusive and plentiful as well as great quality and tasty. Really well deserved the rating on this aspect. The van service was also a plus taking you to the centre for free. The gym was sufficient with plenty of machines and equipment.

Cons: The room wasn't crystal clean as expected. There were no toiletries aside of soap and bath foam was watery and diluted. Overall expected more items from a 4*. The distance was also a minus point.
