L’accueil a été parfait , les réceptionnistes et la conciergerie ( merci à Aya ) et surtout un ÉNORME merci à LAHCEN pour leur professionnalisme. L’hotel est superbe , il dispose de trois piscines , d’une salle de sport bien équipée. Il y a plusieurs restaurants. Une animation dégustation chocolat maison gratuite proposée par Ali , vraiment superbe . Les femmes de chambre sont très consciencieuses , ma chambre était toujours impeccable. Les garçons de piscine ( Salah ) très serviable et aimable .
Cons: Malheureusement au mois d’août il y a beaucoup trop d’enfants à la piscine situé près du bar . Ils font des plongeons ( il faudrait interdire cette pratique dangereuse ) éclaboussent les gens . Ils crient . Le repos n’est malheureusement pas possible. La nuit il y a des enfants qui courent dans les chambres jusqu’à 1 heure du matin . Ceci serait à revoir ! Ne pas placer les familles avec des enfants en bas âge dans les étages supérieurs

J’ai énormément apprécié mon séjour, et tout particulièrement le service et le professionnalisme de Najiya. Elle a été très à l’écoute, attentive à chacun de mes besoins et toujours disponible. Tout était parfait : le petit-déjeuner, la piscine, la chambre ainsi que la qualité du ménage. Un grand merci à Najiya pour son accueil, sa gentillesse et son professionnalisme, qui ont vraiment contribué à rendre notre séjour très agréable. Je recommande cet hôtel sans hésitation !

Lahcen was super friendly who assisted me with everything I needed. I got an upgrade to a better room at arrival which was very welcome. The room was spacious comfortable and had all the amenities needed including a proper nespresso coffee machine.

Cons: Très déçue de mon séjour – expérience loin d’être à la hauteur Malheureusement, mon séjour dans cet hôtel a été très décevant et plusieurs points méritent d’être sérieusement améliorés. Tout d’abord, nous avons rencontré plusieurs problèmes dans la chambre : pendant deux jours, les rideaux sont tombés, et le robinet fuyait en permanence avec un bruit de goutte-à-goutte que nous entendions toute la nuit. Mais le plus gros problème reste l’emplacement de la chambre : elle donnait directement sur la rue, avec un club juste en face. Je vous laisse imaginer le niveau de bruit jusqu’à 4 h ou 5 h du matin. Il était tout simplement impossible de dormir correctement. Autre point que j’ai trouvé particulièrement désagréable : j’avais payé mon petit-déjeuner, mais étant une personne qui ne mange pratiquement jamais le matin, j’ai souhaité prendre quelques viennoiseries avec moi afin de pouvoir les manger plus tard. Un monsieur est alors venu me dire, sur un ton assez déplacé : « Madame, vous n’êtes même pas censée prendre ça avec vous. » Au-delà de la règle, c’est surtout la manière de s’adresser au client qui m’a dérangée. J’avais payé pour ce petit-déjeuner, et je ne pense pas qu’il soit nécessaire de traiter un client comme s’il essayait de prendre quelque chose qui ne lui appartient pas. Entre les problèmes dans la chambre, le bruit infernal toute la nuit et l’accueil peu agréable, cette expérience a été très loin de mes attentes. Je déconseille cet hôtel et, personnellement, je n’y remettrai plus les pieds.

J’ai passé un séjour exceptionnel en famille et nous avons vraiment tout apprécié. L’emplacement de l’hôtel est parfait, le cadre est magnifique et tout est d’une propreté irréprochable. La chambre était spacieuse, élégante et très agréable. Le petit déjeuner était copieux, délicieux et surtout très varié. Je tiens à remercier particulièrement Mr Salah à la réception, ainsi que toute l’équipe de la piscine, l’équipe de nettoyage et les voituriers, pour leur gentillesse, leur disponibilité et leur excellent service. Franchement, rien à dire, tout était parfait. Nous reviendrons sans hésiter. Un vrai coup de cœur.

Je suis très satisfait de mon séjour dans cet hôtel. La propreté est irréprochable et l’établissement est parfaitement entretenu. Je tiens à remercier chaleureusement Lahcen et salaheddin pour leur accueil, leur professionnalisme et leur gentillesse tout au long de mon séjour. Un grand merci également à Ilham, la femme de ménage qui s’est occupée de ma chambre chaque matin. Son travail était impeccable, toujours réalisé avec soin et le sourire. Grâce à elle, ma chambre était parfaitement propre chaque jour. Je recommande cet hôtel sans aucune hésitation.
Cons: Quelques points mériteraient d’être améliorés. Au petit-déjeuner, l’attente pour obtenir une omelette peut parfois atteindre une dizaine de minutes. Pour un hôtel cinq étoiles, ce délai est trop long et devrait être réduit. De plus, lorsque les plateaux de fruits sont vides, le réapprovisionnement est souvent trop lent. Il faut parfois attendre plusieurs minutes avant qu’ils soient de nouveau remplis, ce qui ne correspond pas au niveau de service attendu dans un établissement de ce standing.

I cannot recommend Mövenpick Hotel Mansour Eddahbi Marrakech highly enough - Mövenpick is an Exceptional Hotel that made my 50th Birthday truly Unforgettable. I chose the hotel as the base for my 50th birthday celebration, with guests travelling from different parts of the world, and from the very beginning the team exceeded every expectation. They didn't just provide outstanding hospitality - they became genuine partners in helping bring my vision to life. A very special thank you to "Yasmine", who coordinated so much of the planning from the outset. She was responsive, professional and incredibly helpful, making the months of preparation feel effortless. To Taha, the wonderful bellboy, the Concierge Manager and the entire concierge team, including Aya and Pila - thank you for always greeting us with warmth, looking after my guests so well and going above and beyond throughout our stay. Nothing was ever too much trouble. Thank you also to the reception team and the security staff at the entrance, who welcomed us with genuine smiles every day and made every guest feel valued from the moment they arrived. One person who deserves special recognition is the Head of the Bar & Restaurant, "Othmane". He went far beyond what anyone could reasonably expect. Not only did he ensure my welcome drinks reception was exactly as I had envisioned, but he even came in on his day off and spent over three to four hours uploading my Afrobeats playlist onto the hotel's sound system so everything would be perfect. He carefully created an intimate setting for my guests, arranged for my entrance song "Pila" to play at exactly the right moment, and personally assigned his team to ensure the evening ran seamlessly. That level of dedication and care is something I will never forget. The thoughtful surprises didn't stop there. The beautiful birthday cake, the elegant rose petal decorations in my room, the thoughtful welcome gift, and the wonderfully relaxing hammam experience all added to the feeling that this wasn't just another hotel stay - it was a celebration that the team genuinely wanted me to enjoy. Every detail was carefully considered and made me feel incredibly special. The restaurant ladies also deserve my heartfelt thanks for hosting a beautiful birthday breakfast. The setup was elegant, the service was impeccable and they created such a tasteful, relaxed atmosphere for my guests and me to enjoy. Throughout our stay, every member of staff made us feel genuinely welcomed. Their professionalism, kindness, attention to detail and willingness to go the extra mile turned what could have been a wonderful holiday into a truly unforgettable celebration. To everyone at Mövenpick Hotel Mansour Eddahbi Marrakech - thank you for helping make #MomoAt50 everything I dreamed it would be. Mövenpick Marrakech is a brilliant hotel, and I genuinely wish I could give it five stars. I'm holding back only because I think honest feedback would be useful and some of it concerns what I believe are genuine safety issues. Check-in: Basma and Asma welcomed us warmly and acted like true hosts, personable and attentive. The entrance is grand and cool, and you're immediately struck by the fragrance and the design, which has aged beautifully. Rooms: Spacious, with an enormous bathroom. We'd booked a twin and only a double was available, which was no problem. My one specific request was a quiet room, and they placed us on the top floor exactly as asked. Maintenance and a safety concern: Our first room's AC began leaking, forming a puddle on the entrance carpet; unfortunately the technician's attempt made it worse. For the first couple of hours we were repeatedly told a technician was "coming immediately," and it was only when we went to the desk in person, visibly unhappy, that it was taken seriously. We then lost most of a day to this issue. In fairness, from that point Salah coordinated the resolution quickly and effectively, and Najiya came to the rescue with complete politeness, attention and professionalism - she is an absolute credit to the Mövenpick brand. All week, even while serving other guests, Najiya took a moment to greet us before returning to her work. The deeper problem is that the rooms are ageing and their masking efforts will need attention very soon. Door handles, locks, switches, skirting boards, railings etc - are all relevant in a 5-star hotel. Even in our replacement room, the AC fault cut the electrics through the night, and I had to insist on an immediate response. After two power cuts the technician eventually throttled the AC to around half capacity, after which the power cuts stopped. This is where I'd urge management to act: a fault that cuts mains power to an occupied room (twice in one night) is a genuine electrical safety concern and not just a comfort issue. Combined with loose key-card slots and an AC unit that sounds like a helicopter, the rooms clearly need proper attention. I'd also suggest a protocol where electrical or safety faults escalate straight to senior staff rather than working up through the hierarchy - it would have saved us a lost day. Sustainability: The sustainability agenda is executed impressively well with visibly less single-use plastic, and chilled filtered water stations throughout the grounds without compromising the 5-star experience. Mövenpick have cleverly used their sustainability agenda to elevate the brand image and I cannot imagine that this was an easy task. Grounds & pool: This is where the hotel is unequivocally five-star. Every evening you find yourself in awe of the beautiful low lighting and water features. There are two pools plus a paddling pool for children, a well-equipped indoor gym (including a formidable hack squat machine) and a functional outdoor gym - TRX cables, weights, a chin-up bar, bench and plates, a boxing bag, a 10m sled, plyometric boxes, a farmer's bar, levers and some cardio kit. There are very clean toilets downstairs by the pool and outdoor showers tucked away beside the larger pool. The outdoor experience is five-star through and through. Two important suggestions for the pool areas: please introduce a designated outdoor smoking/vaping area, particularly near the pools; and for hygiene, enforce a strict no-smoking and no-vaping policy for anyone who is actually in the water. Not every guest shares the same etiquette, and a clear rule would protect those who'd rather not inhale someone else's smoke whilst trying to relax in the pool. Breakfast: Exceptionally comprehensive selection - in fact, better, than many of the five-star brands we've stayed with recently. If I may say thank you to Zainah and Oussamma for their beautiful personalities and engagement whilst we were being served. In the late mornings they also have a fantastic mint-tea station hosted by the brilliant Ahmed which, once again makes Mövenpick a unique brand in enabling guests to experience a touch of the local culture. One tip for staff/and guests about breakfast - I liked that you separated pork but you did not do this with ham croissants. I would suggest a note to say that all pork products are sectioned in one place and not randomly. Finally, and by no means least: I'd love the brand to recognise their luggage porter, Taha. He went above and beyond for us throughout the stay, and always did it with genuine warmth and a smile. I mention Taha separately, because he is clearly talented in his rapport & communication skills. As we talked, he asked us questions about our expectations and he was able to articulate nuances about the city which we found helpful - He has a very bright future ahead of him and also a genuine credit to the brand. We look forward to visiting again.

The entire staff was exceptionally welcoming and willing to make our short stay a great experience. Guests relations (who contacted us prior to arrival), restaurant not to forget reception staffwho helped with every small request we had (i can just remember the name of Salaheddine). We’re used to St East Asia high service quality but for our first day in Morocco, the Movenpick topped our expectations. The room was huge and very comfy. The bfast was one of the best i’ve had (huge buffet). Thank u so much!

We stayed here for 4 nights on our holiday.lovely nice big hotel with a couple of very nice heated pools. The room/s are big & comfortable however the air conditioning was very very poor. The buffet breakfast was very good. The staff in the hotel very fairly good also. One thing that could be improved is the refund process for the security deposit which took longer than expected too be refunded. Overall a decent stay in a nice resort.

We had a wonderful stay at Mövenpick Marrakech and thoroughly enjoyed every moment of our visit. The location is excellent, making it easy to reach Marrakech’s main attractions while still offering a peaceful environment to relax. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the hotel’s beautiful atmosphere. The gardens are meticulously maintained, the pools are inviting, and the overall setting creates a true sense of tranquility. A special thank you to the reception team and specially Basma for kindly upgrading us to a suite. It was spacious, elegant, impeccably clean, and, most importantly, incredibly quiet. The soundproofing allowed us to enjoy restful nights, which was especially appreciated as we were traveling with our twin babies. The cleanliness throughout the hotel was outstanding. Both the suite and the common areas were spotless and very well maintained. What truly made our stay memorable was the service. Every member of the staff we met was welcoming, professional, attentive, and always willing to help with a smile. Their genuine hospitality made us feel valued throughout our stay. We stayed at the Movenpick for a week in July. Upon arrival the staff were very friendly and welcoming. They offered us a traditional mint tea when we checked in. They took our bags to our room and showed us around the resort on the way to our room. Upon arrival to the room, we discovered we were allocated an accessible room despite not booking this, however when we asked to switch rooms, it was acted upon swiftly. Our king room was very spacious and nicely decorated, the bathroom was solid marble and had a nice walk-in shower with a partial rainfall shower head. There was a fridge in the room and you were given complimentary bottles of water (glass not plastic for environmental purposes). The room included a safe, built-in hairdryer, iron and ironing board, tea/coffee facilities and other amenities expected at a 5 star resort such as slippers, robes, makeup remover pads and good quality shower and hand-wash products. Sadly no USB charging options were available, and only a very small collection of English speaking TV channels. Turndown service was available, when requested but wasn’t made known to us during check-in. The grounds of the hotel are stunning, lots of lush palms and plants, however some of the fountains didn’t work which was a shame. The onsite pools are lovely, perfect temperature and large with plush beds, day beds and cabanas (all free to use) and plentiful towels and high quality umbrellas. The pool staff were very pleasant and the pool food was tasty and relatively cheap for a 5* pool bar, however the drinks were quite expensive. Luckily the pool had filtered ice cold water machines so you could stay hydrated in the intense Moroccan heat! A masseuse also offered free foot massages daily which was nice. The only negative was that the pool staff could have been more attentive, walking around more and asking if any drinks or food were wanted, as sometimes they were hard to flag down when you wanted them. There was also a few pool tiles missing/ peeling which for a 5* resort should be addressed to maintain that luxury feel. Although the hotel offered a complimentary “indulgent chocolate hour”, we were told when visiting that guests were only allowed 2 very small pieces per day, we felt this was very misleading compared the website wording which insightful a large and generous chocolate buffet, and sadly wasn’t worth our time to leave the pool for such mediocre offering. Whilst this is a 5* property in many ways, there are some improvements needed; fixing the pool tiles and fountains, welcome gift/treats or small treats throughout the stay which many other 5* properties would typically offer - often during turndown in the evenings, a non-built in hairdryer would also be more premium. We had the buffet breakfast included within our stay, the offering was significantly large and included a selection of juices, water, teas and coffee. Continental and cooked options, including an omelette and pancake bar station, fresh fish/salmon, local Moroccan cuisine, fruits, cereals, breads, and pastries. The quality was all very high, and ran till 10:30 for those like us that prefer a little later start. Although it wasn’t an issue for us, it’s worth noting that this hotel is connected to the largest conference centre in Marrakesh, so can be quite busy with business travellers and events being held in the hotel, which can make the hotel feel busy - but staff were very good at keeping the business and leisure travellers separated. Overall, despite some improvements needed, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and would certainly consider this hotel or other Movenpick hotels in the future.

He consistently goes above and beyond to anticipate our needs and deliver service of the highest standard. A real asset to the hotel. Cons: Reception staff were rude and problematic. I paid for a room with a view but I was given a room facing a wall, after being given a different room, I was yelled at by security, and told my parents couldn’t be in the hotel with me. Security were yelling at me and my family in the hallway, making me feel unsafe, the staff did nothing to help apart from one of the porters who was lovely and could see I was very upset. The food is mediocre, the grounds are huge but I didn’t stay during the day. For some reason there was a chocolate birthday cake in my room which wasn’t for me, it never got cleaned and continued to gather mould the whole week I was there. My balcony was also dirty; covered in dust and bird poo. Couldn’t sit on any furniture without a towel. Also had no hot water 2 days of the trip and the AC in my room hardly worked. The only thing going for this place is the gym and the lovely porter.

The staff were excellent. The service from start to finish was amazing. I arrived with a migraine. Concierge Lahcen was lovely and offered me a wheelchair and fast tracked our booking and check in. He was considerate the days after during our trip and ensured I was ok. That was a very kind of him and make me feel incredibly welcome after a rocky start. The hotel itself was lovely and very well serviced. Highly recommend it.

We had a wonderful stay at Mövenpick Marrakech and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Marrakech. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the friendliness and professionalism of the staff. Every single employee we met was welcoming, smiling, attentive, and genuinely eager to help, which made us feel valued throughout our stay. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. Housekeeping was excellent, and the beds were incredibly comfortable, ensuring a great night’s sleep every night. If we were to mention one small area for improvement, it would be the balconies. While perfectly functional, they felt a little small and somewhat crowded with furniture, which limited the available space for relaxing comfortably. However, this was a very minor issue and did not detract from what was otherwise an excellent stay. The hotel offers outstanding facilities for both adults and families. There are several swimming pools and relaxation areas, making it easy to find the perfect spot whether you want to unwind or enjoy time with children. The fitness facilities are also impressive, with a fully equipped gym, access to a personal trainer, an outdoor gym, and dedicated yoga and Pilates studios. We also appreciated the variety of dining options available, with several restaurants to choose from offering different cuisines and atmospheres. The location is another major advantage. Situated in a convenient area between the old and new parts of Marrakech, it is easy to reach all the city’s main attractions by taxi, making it an excellent base for exploring everything Marrakech has to offer. Last but certainly not least, we would like to highlight the exceptional breakfast experience. The breakfast buffet offered a fantastic selection of both continental and local Moroccan dishes. A special thank you goes to Yassine, who welcomed us on our very first morning, gave us a complete tour of the breakfast area, and consistently made sure we had everything we needed—and more—throughout our stay. Your kindness, big smile, attention to detail, and outstanding service gave us the perfect start to each day. Overall, a fantastic hotel. Good location, 10 mins from the airport and close to the main areas of Marrakech. Easy to get taxis and close to a decent shopping mall. The hotel itself is massive, with several good swimming pools and restaurants. Service around the pool was slow at times, but generally ok. The room was of a good size and comfortable. The only thing I would want to improve is that I found the pillows to be very soft and uncomfortable. Also, the view from the rooms isn't great, but it didn't affect our stay. The breakfast was excellent. I would highly recommend this hotel and would stay again. However, there are no perks for a Hotels.com gold member!

We requested a honeymoon setup and even received confirmation via WhatsApp, but when we arrived, nothing had been prepared—no decorations, flowers, or special touches at all. The service was also poor. We waited a long time for assistance with our luggage and eventually had to carry it ourselves. In addition, the duvet was far too heavy, the air conditioning was not working properly, and we spent the night feeling hot and uncomfortable. Overall, the service and experience did not match the price paid or the standards expected from a 5-star hotel.

Stunning hotel with a unique swimming pool and bar. The grounds feel wonderfully lush, giving the vibe of a small Miami with all the vibrant colors and decorative touches. The restaurant is excellent, offering great food and fantastic service. Our cleaning staff, especially Mrs. Samira Nawah, were outstanding and always responsive to requests. The reception team also impressed us with their professionalism. The room was spacious and very comfortable. The only drawback was occasional shortages of towels at the pool, which caused brief delays. The wine list was a bit limited, featuring primarily Moroccan wines that were a bit strong for our tastes, but we did discover a fantastic beer: Casablanca. Breakfast was distinctive and delicious, making the overall experience at this beautiful international hotel truly memorable.

We(room#1333 from Gate 1 Travel) had an absolutely wonderful stay at the Mövenpick Hotel, and so much of that is thanks to Lahcen, the Guest Relations Manager. From the moment we arrived, Lahcen went above and beyond-always greeting us with a warm smile, providing us with every detail we needed, and even personally guiding us to the Nosh restaurant on the second floor that we're trying to find. His professionalism, attentiveness, and genuine kindness stood out every single day. Beyond Lahcen, the entire hotel staff was impeccable-the service was seamless, the hotel itself was stunning, and we enjoyed every moment of our three nights. I highly recommend Mövenpick Hotel for anyone seeking a beautiful, comfortable stay, and I especially commend Lahcen for making our experience truly exceptional.

Had a wonderful stay at Hotel. The location was perfect — convenient and well connected. Huge ballrooms for conferences and The service was exceptional, with the staff going above and beyond to make the stay comfortable. The food was absolutely delicious and beautifully prepared. It has one big and a small pool, gym, kids play area, wellness and rejuvenation centres. Soul, tourist places, Mall and train stations are nearby. Some farm animals like chicken and rabbits were there as well. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a memorable experience!

Mövenpick Hotel Mansour Eddahbi Marrakech. What a wonderful stay at Mövenpick. The hotel grounds were immaculately maintained, and walking through the different areas felt peaceful and calming. Breakfast was excellent, and the staff were consistently warm, friendly, and attentive. A special thank you to the lovely, always-smiling Chaimaa and the charming Mohamed, who made our stay truly memorable and helped make our daughter’s birthday celebration incredibly special. A big thank you to the breakfast chef who took the time to prepare something special and a song for the birthday girl x

Service is appalling, there is a certain area which I think is the kids small pool area where no staff walk around whatsoever to ask if you want a drink. I had to get off my lounger twice and ask staff for ice and glasses and still no one served me, this is just unacceptable! Very poor!

Two nights here was enough, avoid!! We wanted a place for our kids to enjoy the pool by the day and the souks by night. Awful hotel, ‘premium’ room on ground floor with terrace was ridiculously hot and you couldn’t leave the door open at night as it was too exposed to rest of the hotel. Pool was overcrowded, staff on Reception and in the hotel pool bar couldn’t care less and I overheard so many people complaining about the lack of service.

This hotel was the location for world congress and the convenience of the access to the Palais de congress was my reason for booking, had fabulous service from my housekeeping staff ,ghizlane, Saadia, Samins and Nawal…. Friendly helpful and kept up the supply of water and coffee pods which made my stay very pleasant. The day doa has a separate review because it was awesome . Lovely grounds , 3 pools including an adult only pool area which was very welcome… multiple restaurants … special mention to the breakfast which was wonderful!

The friendliness of the staff in the entire hotel was outstanding. The cleaning ladies of my room were truly excellent, thank you Boulai and Ilhame. However the smoking in all the open air spaces was horrible, and breathing in cigarette smoke really detracted from enjoying the beautiful surrounds. Also I found the men out the front of the hotel not particularly helpful when getting taxis, Many of the taxi men at the front of the hotel, which were recommended by the hotel staff ( at the front ) were rude and always trying to rip us off.

Utterly disappointing and ruined my experience of Marrakesh. Checkin was so disruptive, no control of the queue. Had to change rooms three times because of the noise. Rooms were dated. Service was poor. Housekeeping was not great, oily floors and broken shower head in our first room. Went to front desk and they promised to fix it, but surprise surprise, nothing happened. Worst part was the complimentary chocolate hour - real stingy, I was told off for having more after I only had one piece. Please just don’t provide any free chocolate if the hotel is not prepared to be generous about it - seriously, all I had was one piece.

We had a very enjoyable stay at the hotel but there were some drawbacks and some excellent points. The hotel was a beautiful looking building and the staff were very friendly. The public areas and pool were outstanding as was the service around the pool. However our bedroom, although comfortable, had very poor lighting and we had difficulty seeing once it got dark. The hotel did eventually give us some extra bedside lights but they were not very strong and did not make a big difference. The bathroom was decorated in black and that did not help. Also the sockets offered a very poor connection and that did not help with charging our devices. Our other problem was with the concierge, the staff there were very polite and friendly but very poorly informed. On one occasion we asked for a recommendation on where to visit that afternoon and they directed us to a museum which was closed that day. A wasted taxi journey! Our other main problem was with Reception as they never answered the phone. Taxis are readily available over the road from the hotel but the doormen refused to assist us in negotiating the fare and inevitably we spent too much as all prices have to discussed in advance and we did not speak Arabic. They only seemed to be interested in supplying a hotel limousine. On a more positive note, the lady who looked after our room Illham was delightful and could not do enough for us. She kept our room beautifully was so helpful and polite. The egg chef in the breakfast restaurant, Imad, was excellent and we had some delicious omlettes. We also visited Dahbi, the hotel's Moroccan restaurant, several times during our stay, it was superb, with delicious food and outstanding service. Our thanks go to Amine the excellent Restaurant Manager. All in all though we did have a very good holiday.

Our stay was very disappointing and not what we expected, especially given it was a special 50th birthday celebration. On arrival our room wasn’t ready, staff were unhelpful about using facilities while waiting, and we weren’t given any information about the hotel layout, services or amenities. The room itself was in poor condition: a broken bed, missing furniture, damaged bathroom flooring, a broken toilet seat and an unpleasant plumbing smell. Air conditioning was unavailable despite being advertised, making the room uncomfortably warm, and the provided fan was too noisy to sleep. Several advertised amenities (pillow menu, welcome tray, umbrellas) were missing or only provided after complaints. Service issues continued throughout the stay. Apart from the bed being fixed and the missing furniture being put back in the room, nothing else was resolved despite repeated follow‑ups, and although a complimentary meal was offered as compensation, the restaurant experience was poorly organised with long waits (90 minutes) and incorrect orders. We were told an alternative room would be shown but this never happened. The only positives were the poolside and bar staff, who were consistently friendly, helpful and professional. Unfortunately, these bright spots couldn’t make up for the overall poor experience, which did not reflect the standard we paid for or expected. We have reached out multiple times directly to the hotel but they have failed to acknowledge or respond so we are now making this public in the hope they actually take notice.

Cons: Haben mit zwei Kindern zwei Zimmer reserviert mit dem Wunsch, dass die Zimmer möglichst nahe zueinander sind. Die Zimmer waren in zwei verschiedenen Gebäuden ca. 100 m auseinander. Das Frühstück war eine Katastrophe. Da eine Konferenz in der Stadt stattgefunden hat war das Hotel hoffnungslos voll, das Personal heillos überfordert. Der unkoordinierte Kampf am morgen um einen Frühstückstisch zu ergattern sowie das warten in der Schlange für einen Kaffee aus der Maschine war einem 5 Sterne Hotel absolut unwürdig. Teilweise wurden Gäste neben einem regen Durchgang platziert. Es sind noch viele andere Schwachpunkte, welche das Hotel nicht mit 5 Sternen auszeichnet. z.B Balkon 🙈 Hier zählt nicht Qualität sondern Quantität! Kurz zusammengefasst den Preis nicht wert.

Our stay at the hotel was absolutely amazing!! The staff was very kind, especially Najiya. Najiya is from Guest Relations, and when we reached out to let them know it was our daughter’s birthday, she set up the room with roses in shapes and cake! It was a kind gesture that our daughter loved. Najiya continued to help by booking dinner reservations by request and occasionally reaching out to ask if all was good. The room was nice and spacious, and the location of the hotel was near the mall, and everything was easily accessible by a ten minute taxi drive. Value for money was also great, since the hotel had many amenities, such as a spa, multiple pools, restaurants. We spent two days of our stay enjoying those amenities. The spa was super relaxing, and the Hammam is a good experience (and massage). Very clean and well kept, and I loved that housekeeping made two rounds every day just in case somebody changed their mind or they missed a room. Not noisy at all, even in restaurants at night. The live music was jazz instrumentals and didn’t bother me at all, even sitting right in front. Really great place, and I recommend it!

We stayed here for five nights at the end of a five-week tour of Morocco. I’m going to split this review into three parts, because our stay had essentially different experiences. 1. Day One – A Very Poor Start We checked into a “Deluxe Room with City View” (an upgrade we paid extra for). The room overlooked the car park—not particularly inspiring, but we didn’t expect to spend much time there, so we accepted it. That turned out to be a mistake. At around 10:30 pm, the car park began to fill up and the adjacent nightclub came to life. The noise escalated steadily and continued until around 05:00 am. Sleep was impossible. After some back and forth with reception, we were eventually moved to another room of the same category on the opposite side of the hotel, which they described as an “upgrade.” The reality is that the hotel is clearly aware of the severe noise problem affecting these rooms, yet continues to sell them without any warning to guests. This is unacceptable for a five-star property. Had we not been moved, we would have left the hotel entirely. Advice: DO NOT ACCEPT a Deluxe Room with a City View overlooking the car park, adjacent nightclub and main road. 2. The Stay Itself - A Much Better Experience Our new room, also a Deluxe category, had a garden view (which we later found is sold at a slight premium). It was worth every extra penny—quiet, spacious, and comfortable. Exactly what we expected for the price. The hotel itself is impressive: Beautiful, well-maintained grounds; Three excellent swimming pools with plenty of seating; Stylish, grand common areas. The hotel was very busy during our stay due to conferences, which did impact service at times. Dining: Breakfast was very good but extremely busy—go early or late to avoid crowds; The Moroccan and Spanish speciality restaurants served good food; Service was inconsistent, particularly during peak times. Location: About a one-hour walk to the Medina; Around 100 MAD by taxi, making it reasonably convenient for exploring Marrakech. Staff: Professional, friendly, and helpful throughout (with a caveat below). Check Out For the inconvenience of a sleepless first night and having to change rooms, the hotel offered a complimentary late check out of 19:00 on our final day. At breakfast time we confirmed the late check out with the reception desk as we were concerned that our programmed door keys wouldn’t function, but they reassured us that the late check out was recorded on the system, and that our keys would work all day. Around 17:30 we returned to our room and the in-room telephone was ringing. A very aggressive male member of staff began shouting down the phone that we had stayed in the room without permission, and that the hotel reception had been looking for us. They can’t have looked very far because we laid by the pool all day, and ordered drink and food which was charged to our room. The person claimed to be a manager, and threatened that someone was immediately coming to the room to remove us and our luggage. No amount of explanation was acceptable, and they threatened that someone was already on their way to physically remove us. No-one came, and we checked out at 19:00 as had been agreed In fairness, Reception did apologise when we checked out, but the experience was not a good one. Final Verdict Would I stay here again? Based on the first & third experiences : No Based on the stay itself: Yes Would I recommend it? Only with a clear warning Management and marketing need to be far more transparent. Selling rooms known to be severely impacted by nightclub noise without informing guests is not acceptable—especially at this level. Management also needs to gets its act in order to start treating customers as guests, not squatters.

I really appreciated the spacious design of the property, the peaceful ambiance, and the beautiful outdoor areas. The gardens and overall setting create a relaxing environment that truly captures the essence of Marrakech. Despite being a large hotel with around 500 rooms, it never feels crowded. What also made it extra special was the presence of peacocks, the sweetest cats with names, and even roosters wandering around like a little confident family, adding a unique and charming touch to the experience.
Cons: Only a few small details—such as some electrical plugs and minor maintenance touches—could be improved. Nothing significant, but refining these elements would enhance the overall experience.

A beautiful hotel, well located. Excellent choice of restaurants with quality food on offer, but that is where it ends. With the odd exception, the staff were at best absent and at worst rude. Everything was too much trouble, the reception team and pool bar staff made us feel like an inconvenience and we had to ask many times for service. The breakfast buffet was not restocked, if you wanted choice go early and on one day, the pool snack bar ran out of chicken which made up the bulk of the lunch menu.

Cons: From the check inn we were not told anything about the breakfast or the facilities in the hotel. We were just given our room card and room number. We were just told there were two pools. Which infact there were 3 plus a spa. The room was nice and spacious, however the toilet didn’t work and was very rusty. The staff at the pool bar are extremely slow, we sat there waiting for service for a very long time, when I told a manager of the situation, instead of taking our order she began shouting at the waiter. This didn’t happen once, the staff were slow on a number of occasions.

The staff at the facility were amazing, however id like to single out a special individual “Lahcen Abahri” who made our first time stay in Marrakesh effortless, from the initial contact when we reached the airport and the tour of the hotel to providing advice and guidance throughout our stay. Will definitely come back again…..thanks Lahcen.

Superb hotel. Great staff, spotlessly clean and excellent facilities. We only had one problem and the manager on duty, Rashid, fixed it quickly. What we loved the most: 1. Impressive breakfast with multiple choices. Very efficient staff. 2. Mint tea in the lobby each day. 3. Complimentary chocolates each day at 5pm. 4. Reception staff. 5. Adults only pool area. 6. Spa/massage. 7. The area selling speciality tea and coffee. Great sandwiches. What we didn’t like: 1. Slow service in the evening bar. 2. The taxis outside the hotel scamming and overcharging guests by 300%. In the end, we used to stop taxis on the main road round the corner as they were cheaper. Taxi to medina should be 40 to 50 dirhams, not 100 dirhams. Thank you for a great week. Room 3101.

This is a reasonable hotel but is not functioning as a 5 star hotel at all. Rooms are nice and large, the campus comprises 7 blocks of rooms, some have decent terraces/balconies and some have barely enough space for two chairs and a table, and are next to busy walkways. We are visiting in Ramadan and maybe this is a factor in how poor the service and facilities offers are - we’ve never been at a 5-star hotel and been told they they have run out of staples such as red wine (“the Syrah has finished tonight”, in their main bar) or iberico ham in their Spanish-themed restaurant (“we don’t have any iberico tonight”). Very poor. Service generally is polite but slow. We can’t work out why really - seeing as the hotel seems well staffed. This said, the response from reception and guest relations to small issues has been poor. A kind of foggy, vague empathy to issues raised, with no action taken. What were the issues, I hear you cry? Well one stemmed from the main pool being closed for maintenance, for the whole week - and without notification. I’m guessing some hotels take Ramadan as an opportunity to catch up on maintenance as we were offered the Movenpick after our first choice closed their restaurant and reception for building work. Anyway, the hotel has an adults only “calm pool”, outside the onsite spa. With the main pool (which is heated) closed, the management apparently told families with infants and toddlers to use the adults pool instead - cue no calm and lots of sudden squealing. Call us child-hating moaners, perhaps although we remember the other side of tings when our kids were little - clearly though, there were many adult guests put out by the unclear boundaries and not knowing whether the parents were just ignoring the very clear signage. We raised it with guest relations and were met with some kind of strange patronising response, feigning interest but finally when questioned saying that the hotel wasn’t going to do anything about it. We could kind of accept that they were a pool short this week ,but the lack of communication about the closure followed by the staff patronising responses was very poor indeed. Such a disappointment, really. The hotel is miles from the action of the medina and the souks, and restaurants in the locality are few and far between. Concierge desk didn’t seem to know of restaurants to suggest or recommend, either. Hope this is helpful to readers - if you want what feels the authentic Marrakech, don’t stay in the Hivernage area anyway. But we can’t recommend the Movenpick either, as it’s falling too short in too many hospitality areas guests should expect far more from, especially from a supposed luxury brand.

The location is great. Within walking distance from the hotel is a street called Avenue M, it has boutique stores, well know stores, restaurants. residential apartments, and other things. About the hotel it has an out door pool and a bar. They have a lot of artwork on the walls. The restaurants had a lot of selections of food (breakfast and dinner). The hotel has a lot of areas that you can sit and relax and admire the beauty. If I go back to Marrakech, I will definitely stay here.

Nous sommes arrivés à l'hôtel vers 11h30, après nous avoir fait patienter nous avoir pu avoir notre chambre 1h après environ, sans aucun supplément ! Merci aux personnels et particulièrement Najwa Boukhalfa qui nous a fait faire le tour de l'hôtel et nous a vraiment tout très bien expliqué ! En attendant la chambre on est allé manger au bord de la piscine, dès que la chambre était dispo, elle nous a contacté sur WhatsApp et nous a apporté elle-même les cartes de la chambre au restaurant. Petit-déjeuner très bon avec beaucoup de choix et ouvert pendant très longtemps (de mémoire de 6h jusqu'à 10h30!). Piscine extérieure chauffée très agréable. Serviettes régulièrement mises à disposition. Il y'a également un coin "piscine" réservé aux adultes. Nourriture et cocktails bons, que ce soit au niveau du restaurant au bord de la piscine ou au bar. Thés très bons dans la boutique présente dans l'hôtel ! Odeur très agréable au lobby. Chambre correcte. Nous avons pu faire le check-out vers 13h sans aucun problème. Hôtel bien situé, 5min de taxi et vous êtes au centre. Tous les jours de 17 à 18h, il y'a un mini stand avec des chocolats (très bons) à disposition.
Cons: Une certaine lenteur du personnel/service, notamment au restaurant proche de la piscine... Chambre bien mais sans plus, un peu vieillot par endroit. Réveillé très tôt par les bruits de coqs ou de paons je ne sais pas trop... c'était juste à côté de notre chambre. Isolation phonique avec l'extérieur est à revoir.

But our main concern is that we had to call Dr for my wife who took ill, and concierge/ reception team let him come and go; despite telling three different people of our urgent need and our room number. I’m still in reception waiting for Dr to come back, it has now been 3.5 hours.

Had a very mixed experience of the hotel and wouldn’t go back. Building, decor, lighting, atmosphere and smell of the hotel were all really lovely. But, the experience was tainted by several service/organisation issues, for example, not getting serviced in two restaurants, a reservation made for a hotel restaurant that was closed on the evening the reservation was made, many parts of the hotel being closed for refurbishment (pool and pool bar being exceptionally busy as a result), no air conditioning making rooms hot at night with noise levels of piped music blasting away at 5.30am waking you up if you left windows open, safe didn’t work, bathroom door didn’t close…. to name a few…. Good in buffet restaurant for breakfast was good, can’t comment on other restaurants as we had to leave because no one took our order, so can’t comment on that. Free chocolate tasting at 5pm was a very pleasant and unexpected surprise.

Stayed for 3 days with family. Staff were helpful and friendly, environment is clean with manicured gardens. With Peacocks and other birds. Very close to the airport and city. Flaws that need to be addressed: Breakfast food choices are very poor, not adequately staffed, servers seem to be rushed off their feet,woman at the Moroccan bread section is very rude and unfriendly she shouted at a very little boy. Buffet dinner is overpriced and doesn’t offer much choice. The lighting is so bright , live music so loud and the navy blue carpet in that restaurant is a very dangerous trip hazard that nearly tripped 3 different people. Pool-side food service is very very slow and could be improved.

j’ai été conquise par la qualité des prestations et le confort de l’établissement. La chambre était spacieuse, élégante et parfaitement aménagée : un immense lit avec une literie extrêmement confortable, une grande salle de bain avec baignoire, et un balcon agréable pour profiter du cadre. J’ai également aimé la piscine extérieure chauffée, entourée d’un joli jardin verdoyant avec ses licataires les paons... Le bar et les espaces extérieurs offrent un joli cadre , propice à la détente. Le personnel est d’une grande gentillesse, toujours souriant. Mention spéciale pour le kids club : un joli espace , encadré par des professionnels à l’écoute des enfants et des parents. Ma fille a même pu participer à un atelier cuisine qu’elle a adoré.
Cons: Malgré tous ces points positifs, certains aspects mériteraient d’être améliorés. Le service s’est parfois révélé assez lent : il fallait attendre longtemps avant d’être servi, avec l’impression occasionnelle que certaines demandes étaient oubliées. Dans un établissement de standing cinq étoiles, davantage de rigueur — par exemple en prenant systématiquement des notes — permettrait d’assurer un service plus fluide et réactif. J’ai également trouvé dommage de constater de petites fissures autour de la baignoire, des détails qui nuisent à l’impression générale d’excellence attendue dans une si belle chambre. Enfin, l’absence de shampoing à notre arrivée (seul l’après-shampoing était présent) est un oubli qui peut sembler anodin, mais qui reste surprenant pour un hôtel de cette catégorie

Stayed at this hotel for my husbands 60th Birthday with our children and partners, lovely hotel and we loved Marrakesh but unfortunately are still owed £200 on our debit card, the checking in and out process of this hotel is ridiculously slow and no one seems to know what they are doing. You are made to leave a £200 deposit in your room when checking in but unfortunately this has never been paid back into our bank account, I have tried on numerous occasions via phone calls and emails to contact them but the hotel has never reimbursed the money, BEWARE of the system it does not work 😡😡😡 do not give your card details to them.

I have no comments regarding the hotel itself, but I feel compelled to share my experience at the MFF Café, located on the terrace area just outside the hotel at Movenpick Marrakech. During our visit, my friends and I ordered three coffees, and they were served without water. When we politely inquired about this, the waiter explained that it is the café’s practice to serve coffee without water. I mentioned that, generally, coffee is served with water in cafés worldwide. The staff member responded in an extremely rude and dismissive manner, saying, “Is this your first time here? We are allowed to serve coffee without water.” Her attitude and behavior were unprofessional and unpleasant, and this significantly affected our experience. While Movenpick Marrakech is otherwise a reputable hotel, the service at MFF Café was disappointing and did not meet expectations. I hope the management addresses this issue to improve customer experience in the future.

Primeiro dia precisava de mais cabides e água. O telefone do quarto não funcionava. No cartão do quarto constava que era para fazer pedido por um whatsapp, contudo o sistema não funcionava direito (fechava o pedido como se tivesse sido entregue sem ter sido entregue). Reclamei até aqui no booking e não tive resposta. Depois de mais de umas 3 horas tivemos que ir até a recepção para pedir o que precisávamos, falaram que iriam arrumar o telefone e enviar os itens solicitados Dia seguinte, quem limpou o quarto esqueceu de deixar água e somente deixou uma toalha (sendo que o quarto foi pago para nós dois!). Novamente: telefone sem funcionar, novamente whastapp sem funcionar, novamente reclamei no booking e novamente tive que ir até a recepção para solucionar. Somente dois dias depois do check-out entrarm em contato pelo booking dando um email de contato para "resolver a situação o mais breve possível". Inacreditável.

The most beautiful hotel, we had 2 nights in a riad in the medina to start our holiday, which was a wonderful authentic experience, followed by 3 nights in the movenpick. The most beautiful, luxurious hotel, a short taxi ride from the medina, also walkable to the modern Gueliz area an 2 shopping malls within a 5/10 minute walk. The hotel was so beautiful and the staff amazing. A wonderful breakfast buffet spread. Imane in the restaurant at breakfast was incredible, I have a gluten and dairy allergy and she walked me through the buffet explained what I could have and arranged a wonderful fruit plate that was freshly prepared in the kitchen. Would definitely stay here again.

We have had such an amazing stay at the hotel. We came with our 21 month old daughter and every single member of staff was so kind to her, it was lovely and we felt so welcome. It is a great hotel for families. The breakfast was wonderful and anything that you want is pretty much available, we didn’t feel rushed at all and were able to have a relaxed experience. We had dinner at the restaurants and we can’t fault them, all of the food was delicious. The hotel is in a great location and is absolutely spotless. The staff are what makes this hotel stand out, there are too many to name but each and every one is special and fabulous at hospitality. We will be returning again to this hotel and the wonderful Marrakesh. Thank you so much.

Le personnel a été très attentionné et nous a mis en surclassement comme nous ne restions qu une nuit! Nous avons pu bénéficier d une super belle chambre, avec une très belle vue sur la piscine. Nous avons pu également faire le check-in à 12h alors que nous devions normalement le faire à 15h. Merci encore au personnel pour ce geste puisque nous restions qu une seule nuit! Merci également à Lahcen Abahri pour le suivi. Le spa est aussi très agréable et le massage relaxant était vraiment très bien. La seule chose est que je trouve que le prix de 1000 dirhams est trop élevé pour une heure de massage.

Cons: The main thing was AA in the middle of a slaughter house there was meat chopping everywhere and you can’t park your car near 20 minutes. Walk from the taxi to the hotel with your luggage and it stank rats cats anything you can think of they were it is the most awful place. I would not even recommend it to an enemy. Cannot believe Booking.com has given such high rating did not expect that from Booking.com as we booked from Booking.com in the past but we were shocked that Rait is high on a property like this. Imane on reception was a standout Gem! She helped us with local restaurant suggestions and also booking restaurants for us! I hope she is as valued as she deserves to be! The room was clean comfortable and had everything we needed! Very nice swimming pool and great gym! The location was closer to everything than we realised which was amazing too!
Cons: The hotel falsely advertised it had more restaurants than it currently has. The music around the pool wasn’t appreciated by any of the guests that we spoke with and although I wasn’t keen, it could have been played at a lower volume with more of a variety as background music rather than as loud as it was.

Cons: There was no vacuum cleaning in the rooms even though there was a carpet. The bed sheets were not changed in 6 days. The reception staff were rude and not helpful. Almost all members of staff especially in the restaurants were extremely slow and rude.

Il a su répondre parfaitement à mes attentes et, grâce à ses précieux conseils et à son réel investissement, j’ai vécu un séjour bien au-delà de ce que j’espérais. Je ne peux que recommander cet hôtel où tout est impeccable : le décor, la qualité de la nourriture, la tranquillité des lieux et le service irréprochable des équipes. Tout est réuni pour séjourner en toute sérénité. L’hôtel est d’une propreté remarquable et le personnel, en particulier Lahecen, est absolument parfait. We had a very pleasant stay at Mövenpick Hotel Mansour Eddahbi, and overall the experience was really enjoyable!! The whole vibe of the hotel is lovely - the territory is beautiful, well maintained, calm, and has a very nice atmosphere. Breakfast was a real highlight: a huge variety of options, both traditional Moroccan and European dishes, plus à la carte choices. Everything was fresh and delicious, and we really looked forward to breakfast every morning. As for the downsides, the rooms are a bit outdated and some things felt slightly worn or broken. However, this is clearly reflected in the price, so it didn’t feel like a big issue. One thing to note is that the spa is only accessible if you book a treatment. From the description, I initially thought it was open to all guests, but it wasn’t a problem in the end since there is a pool available for everyone staying at the hotel. What truly makes this hotel special is the staff! The heart of the hotel is definitely its people. I would like to give a big thank you to Ghali and Sovkaika at the front desk (sorry if I spelled the names incorrectly) - they made us feel very welcome and comfortable throughout our stay. A special thanks as well to the manager who delivered a message from my friends on my birthday - such a thoughtful gesture. I also want to mention the cleaning staff, who did an amazing job every day. The room was always very clean and well taken care of. Overall, a very nice stay with great service, lovely atmosphere, and wonderful staff. I would definitely consider coming back. Nous avons été obligées d’entrer dans un bain assez élevé pour nous laver . Comme j’ai des douleurs aux genoux cela a été assez difficile, de plus comme j’ai du m’asseoir sur le bord j’ai pu constater que le bain n’était pas ancré. Aucun (!) crochets pour les serviettes et seulement 1 serviettes pour chacune des invitées.

I stayed here for 9 days for a business trip in October. The photos and reviews online led me to believe it was a fairly upscale property. Indeed the public spaces of the property are well maintained and clean, however, the rooms themselves, the food and beverage and the service overall is beyond lacking. I had a standard balcony room with deeply stained carpet, worn bathroom floors, crusted dirt and crud in every baseboard trim. The "balcony" was almost like an April Fool's joke. It was a high walled 4 foot x 3 foot space with two chairs jammed into it facing each other. No room to even literally step outside and sit in a chair (not that you would want to). The food and beverage across the board was atrocious. Sit down for lunch or dinner at one of the restaurants and you would give up after sitting for 10-15 minutes because no waitstaff were available to take your order. Room service menu was the most limited, unappealing list of hodge-podge foods you could imagine. There was the ubiquitous "hang the breakfast order on the doorknob" tag inside the room but there was no place on the tag to indicate what breakfast you wished to order. (not that the selections for this were appealing). The breakfast buffet was OK though the machine made coffee was atrocious. The housekeeping service was good. The front desk and concierge and valet service was dreadful. Front desk you could spend fully 10 minutes trying to check in or check out. On my checkout the Front Desk were telling me I was not supposed to check out for another 2 days. Meanwhile they had my checkout date correct when I checked in. I kept explaining to them that my home-bound flight was leaving in 2 hours and my flight was always scheduled for today. They kept telling me "No you are supposed to stay here two more days". They literally had 3 front desk people talking to me about this for 10 minutes. Finally I said "Look I am going to the airport. I am not going to miss my flight. You can't hold me captive here". They then checked me out. Concierge could not manage to make restaurant reservations. Numerous times I waited days, checking back in with them and they would say "We have been unable to contact the restaurant we will let you know". Then I would just call the restaurant myself or book the restaurant online and after that happened twice I gave up using the concierge. The "valet" service in front of the hotel consists of a small group of men who just hang out in front of the hotel. They do not call you a taxi, they do not ask you if you need help with packages or bags. They just hang out there. In order to get a taxi you must walk across the street (with no crosswalk and traffic coming from both directions) and talk to taxi men lined up across the street. It was quite depressing staying here for 9 days. Really dreadful. I've shared a few photos to illustrate.

I would like to raise a complaint for a wrongful charge on my account from a cancelled travel industry stay that I would like rectified immediately. I had made a booking for personal reasons, but was then unable to travel, so I cancelled the reservation within the time period. The reservation was cancelled online and then I called the hotel to follow-up, who confirmed this had been cancelled and no charge. I have been charged over £320 for no reason and I have also alerted this to Accor. As a loyal customer – professionally and personally – of Accor, I would like this rectified asap, particularly as my friends still stayed at the hotel despite not accessing a preferential rate. I have contacted the hotel repeatedly and my request is being ignored.

A great stay. We arrived without luggage but there is a mall just 5 minutes away where we bought night clothes. It also had a great rooftop restaurant with excellent food. The concierges booked us wonderful guides, to the Atlas and the Medina. The pool was heated and we enjoyed a leg massage with Argan oil. The only downside for us, was that the Spanish restaurant wasn´t open for lunch. We prefer lunch to be our main meal. The night we arrived we went to the Moroccan restaurant and had the lamb. Absolutely first class.

Visit from UK. We enjoyed our 3 night stay but I believe the hotel is not 5*. More like 3 plus. Well, the hotel itself is 5* but our room was not. Arrival: absolutely beautiful and clean entrance/reception area. Grounds are beautiful. Check in was no problem and friendly staff. I took £500 in cash and exchanged this at reception upon check in without any issues. Please don't do what I do. I take credit card all over the world but on this occasion I did not. I preferred to use cash but the hotel placed a £300 hold/deposit on my debit card. I only took my spare savings debit card so had to quickly transfer money across . My fault but make sure your debit card is loaded with extra cash you won't be using for this if you are only bringing cash from the UK and don't want to take Credit card. Anyway, all fine and had assistance with luggage to the room. The room was nice and spacious but a few points: No do not disturb sign to use, no bin in the room except bathroom, separate toilet was very uninviting ( tiles looked dirty and toilet/area just looked old) it's nice to have a comfortable area to do your business in a 5* so this was definitely not, no iron in room even though stated there was, switch sockets were silver and looked dirty this could have been marks from cleaning but should be polished before new customer arrives and finally the shower was large with hot lovely water but again the tiles had splash marks that looked dirty, should be cleaned before new customer. So from experience room was 3*. Tiny balcony with nice view towards pool, used common sense and moved the table in between the two large chairs otherwise you could not move . No issues at all for us but just a point. Breakfast was lovely without complaint. Service: First impressions count! Our first afternoon we sat by the pool near the back for an hour. Lovely weather and like others we fancied a beer or cocktail. Two male waiting staff walked by more than 10 times without saying anything (considering it was service only!) we decided to be our British selves and walked along the pool trying not to look irritated and approached the bar area. We were stopped in our tracks so we simply said can we get a drink we are sitting bottom of pool, husband said no issues we are at bar now and we will just get own drinks. The bartender didn't want to assist and pointed us away to 'another bar' perhaps he thought we were sitting at the pool behind but had he listened he would know that we had simply been sitting 45 minutes without being able to get a drink. Anyway, senior staff came over took order and told us politely our drinks would follow to where we were sat. They did arrive about 15 minutes later but that first impression was not great. Just let us buy our drinks at the bar and apologise offering table service next time but seemed a fuss on. That was the only issue, seems minor but not 5* service. Location: 40 minute lovely walk to the square. M avenue, LE 6 restaurant 10 minutes walk. We never used taxi and walked everywhere( Our preference when travelling) . Check out: I wanted to give a good hour and half as that's just me, this allows time for queuing and a slow check out. No queue 11:45ish and lady receptionist very friendly and asked how trip was, what we had done. Paid tourist tax in cash using left over dirhams so all good. Card hold was cancelled and we did repeat this back and a receipt followed. No issues. As we left the file festival was on so front of hotel was jam packed with Police and taped off, no issues at all and felt completely safe throughout whole trip. The presence of security and Police is nice to see for us.

I booked the deluxe suite which is supposed to be the most luxurious suite. The hotel is beautiful. But the hotel decided to give me the last building in the hotel which my balcony view is a parking lot, a construction site and a street with loud cars and motorcycles passing by. I complained with management they said that, they don't have any other suite available, and MAYBE tomorrow will check if there's any availability for them to change my room with horrible view and loud car noises, Well after this from all the electrical outlets, 1 only works, and one of the outlets messed up my girlfriends Dyson hair blower. On the closet there's no hangers, so how are we supposed to hang the clothes? We tried to order room service, we called lobby 4 times till someone answered and they gave me a number to order room service (with the attitude we really don't care) After 6 attempts finally somebody answer, very hard to order because there is NO MENU believe it or not. In the check out, the receptionist ask us how was our stay I asked him terrible, he just smirked and not said another word. I would not recommend this hotel.

The Movenpick Hotel Mansour Eddahbi in Marrakech was probably the best hotel on our 16 day tour. From the lavish entrance to the two swimming pools to the spacious rooms, everything was excellent. The only complaint would be the long walk to some rooms as there are 3 or 4 buildings. Breakfast was excellent and location was very good.

Upon our arrival we waited over 45 minutes to begin the checkin process. Unfortunately this process took so long our children missed out on checking out the kids club, which they’d been excited about. This left them in tears. We asked to speak to a manager about this and spoke with Anas who apologized and offered points. The room was great and the other services we received pleasant.

The hotel is absolutely stunning, so grand, has numerous restaurants, activities, a gorgeous pool, and the most incredible service! It’s also in a fantastic location and walking distance to the heart of the Medina! Badr and Lahcen at the reception helped us greatly with lovely restaurant recommendations and continuously checked in to make sure we had everything we needed! We also had tea and dessert at the snack bar by the pool and Hamza was so kind and brought out a sampler of free desserts for us since they didn’t have the dessert we wanted. Absolutely wonderful experience and the best hotel I’ve ever stayed in, I can’t wait to stay here again!

Overall the hotel is beautiful. Great location. Many reading nooks, and crannies to read, talk quietly or people watch. The rooms are well appointed. My room 4417, DID NOT have a view. It was a "view" of the roof of another building. Very minor issues, no trash can in the living area, only one in the bathroom, the shower Gel dispenser was empty, tv didn't work, but I unplugged it and it was fixed. It took about an hour for the shower gel. I had my own. So I wan't held up. No heat for chilly nights. We had an electric power outage (between 2am - 4am). We were notified. I slept through it. BUT, when I got up the internet was out, therefore the TV was out. I was checking out later in the morning, so it wasn't a big deal. HOWEVER, upon check out I was informed that my room charges must be paid in cash, because of the outage. That was a PROBLEM, more importably , not my problem. But it was. I was told by the front desk staff to "just go to the ATM". I intentionally don't take a debit card or want to take cash advances from my AMEX at an ATM. I wanted the points for the hotel stay. and spa visit. Additionally, I didn't appreciate that their problem became mine. When I went into my cash reserve for international emergencies, Each $20 bill was inspected for the condition of the bill. 3 of my $20 bills were not perfect and returned to me. That was all the cash I had! So be aware that any USD will be carefully inspected for slight tears, ink marks, and overwork. They must be in prestine condition! A friend loaned me the money, The hotel should have accepted total and full responsibility for this situation. Maybe they should have gone old school and wrote my card number down or the 'ole slide credit card machine. Hopefully that experience was a "one-off". I would return again, the whole vibe of the hotel was great. Service, location, and evenings at the bar/pool with lounge music was special. The buffet was varied and had something for vegans, pescatarians, and meat lovers. Nightly and daily morning Moroccan tea

Much as the hotel was attractive enough it certainly is not a 5* The biggest complaint that I would have is the poor running of this hotel. It is a large hotel but the reception area is far too small. There is always a queue and it is difficult to get through to them on your room phone. The reception staff, in my opinion are lacking in basic training such as greeting the guest in a pleasant manner and being able to attend to matters in a quick and efficient manner. I was meeting my daughter there and was directed to a room when I checked in. I noticed that it was a double instead of a twin ( that had been confirmed when I checked in) and so rang reception. I was told someone would be up to take me to a new room …. An hour later and 4 calls with further promises of someone coming, my daughter rang to say she was in the room and where was I ! We managed to find each other with no help from the hotel and though I complained about being left for an hour, on no occasion was a follow up or proper apology offered. A glass of wine around the pool took 45 mins to come and on another occasion I rang reception 3 times in the space of an hour to ask for water ( this should have been left during servicing of the room) I was told each time someone would be “straight up” but no one ever was. We then had to go out for dinner and so stopped at reception to ask about the water. The receptionist was actually speechless- he was gormless and he had to go off to find someone who likewise did not really know what to say. I just said can you not just get someone to put water into our room- it’s not difficult - what is the problem Absolutely useless. There are more occasions where reception/ concierge/ guest relations were so unhelpful. No one seems to be able to make decisions and frankly there is clearly little training and too few receptionists. When I checked out I wasn’t even asked the normal “ did you enjoy your stay ..” etc I am writing this review with a hope that the hotel reads it. It needs seriously looked at I travel a lot but I would not stay at a Mövenpick hotel anywhere in the world after my experience here sadly.

The temperature is currently 62°F and is expected to drop down to 53°F tonight however, my room has no heat. I’ve called the front desk and service several times and they told me there was no heat throughout the entire hotel. I had asked for extra blankets just to be bought a half a blanket for the bed not even enough to fully cover a person. The front desk and service to the room is very slow. They seem more annoyed that I’ve called multiple times, after waiting over a 1.5 hours, because I’m freezing in my room I will not recommend this hotel.

Excellent location, very welcoming and helpful staff, the quality of breakfast is great and diversified. The valley parking service was extremely helpful and kind.
Cons: Room & bathroom was a bit old, bed matress was too fluffy. Breakfast venue was too much crowded and same for the pool.
