Host was amazing and accommodating with suggestions for dinner, trips and general Morrocco. Breakfast each morning was delicious with his own mint tea he was kind enough to make a large bag of for us to take home. The location itself was perfect, far enough away from the city centre you don't get the noise of the city but only a 15min walk from it all and very close by (5min) to pick up points for day excursions. Very good restaurants all within 15 min walk as well.

Cons: The room (floor/surfaces) could have been slightly cleaner however this was compensated by fresh bedding and towels each day.

Small room, comfortable bed. I only stayed one night.

Cons: The room has no exterior window or natural light, and the door to the room opens onto the hotel's inner courtyard. The door to the room is more like a stable gate. It offers no privacy at all in the room. There are curtains that cover the space that separates your room from the hotel's inner courtyard. Very uninspiring, we were accommodated on the same floor (ground floor) with two chatty Italian women who arrived late to the accommodation and were talking and laughing very loudly at 2 am. Very unpleasant for us. I did not manage to rest at all that night. The bathroom was extremely small and had a completely unpleasant smell from the sewage system. The breakfast was poor - a cube of processed cheese, a yogurt, bread, pita bread and jams.

Wonderful stay in Marrakesh! We really felt at home, such hospitality is rare to experience. Azadine and Zach our hosts were real angels with us the whole time, helping us in everything they could. The most wonderful thing about this place are the amazing hosts. Azadine and Zakaria were very caring and made me and my family really welcome. The Riad is on the outskirts of the Medina and about half an hour walk away if you know where you are going. The app Mapsme was very useful to us in helping us to get around Marrakech. We felt very safe in the area. The Riad was very pretty with basic facilities but very clean. Breakfast was traditional and we enjoyed it.. Overall good value and I would love to come and stay here again.

Cons: Disliked · One of our rooms was on the top floor and it happened to be very noisy as you can hear the street noise such as motorbikes till quite late....the other rooms are fine.

We were picked up by a driver arranged by Asdine (the Riad owner) for just around €10. Upon arrival, Asdine greeted us warmly and gave us a tour of the Riad. He’s an excellent host and shared valuable insights about the city, along with his recommendations for shopping and restaurants. The breakfast was a traditional Moroccan breakfast, served at a time that was convenient for us. He also arranged a tour for us to visit the Ourika Valley, which cost around €20 per person. The Riad is located towards the north of the Medina, but everything was within walking distance. Highly recommended!

The staff is very friendly and helpful. They helped us to find a way to riad, gave information about the city and good advice on different topics. Also they welcomed us with traditional tea and served tasty breakfast every morning. I especially liked that the breakfast time was very flexible, so if we had to leave earlier for a day trip, we just said it in advance and arranged a time for breakfast. The riad is very beautiful and located not far from city centre. The room was also nice with everything needed. Use maps.me to find this riad, because the location on google maps is not quite right.

Cons: I wish to have a better soundproofing. Our room was on the first floor, so I heard almost everyone in common area returning to the riad at night and leaving earlier for breakfast.

Staying at Riad 1001 Couleurs was an unforgettable experience, thanks to the warm hospitality and incredible charm of this place. From the moment we arrived, the host went above and beyond to make us feel at home. His kindness, attention to detail, and genuine care for his guests truly set this riad apart. The riad itself is a masterpiece of color and design, with each corner showcasing traditional Moroccan artistry. Our room was cozy and vibrant. We had lovely breakfast spread with freshly baked pastries, fruit, and the best mint tea we had in Marrakech. The host went as far as teaching me how to make the Moroccan mint tea when I mentioned how much I loved it! His recommendations for local restaurants and hidden gems in the medina made exploring the city so much easier and more enjoyable. The rooftop terrace, with its stunning views of the medina and Atlas Mountains, was the perfect place to unwind after a day of adventures. The riad’s location is central yet peaceful, offering the best of both worlds. The host’s hospitality made this stay truly special. If you’re visiting Marrakech, Riad 1001 Couleurs is an absolute must—don’t miss the chance to experience this magical place and its wonderful host. This is a home away from home. Don’t hesitate ! Book it !

Everything, specially the owner Azedine, very welcoming and a great host. We were warmly welcomed by Azedine and his staff Zakeria. The Riad is very well decorated and kept very clean. I witnessed the owner's hard work and passion going into setting up this beautiful Riad. The staircase is beautifully decorated, the terrace has all the features of authentic vibes of the city with loungers and sitting area. The rooms are all beautiful, cosy and we left with all the beautiful memories and delicious tea that we enjoyed the most 😉 Would 100% recommend and would definitely love to come back again! 😘

Nothing at all

Cons: It was an absolutely wrong decision to pick this Raid for even 2 day stay, the entire room smells like a gutter and the explanation I got from staff was that it's because Marrakesh is an old city and gutters are not that clean so the smell comes to room via bathrooms. Which was wrong because we already stayed our first 3 days in other Raid which was a Haven and in the middle of Madina. This Riad is in remote location and too far from the main madina start, the flooring is filled with mud and stains, The breakfast is honestly a roadside cheap bread and artificial juice, nothing is prepared in house they literally warm the outside cheap things in the oven and keep it on the table. We were able to compare the overall quality because it was our second trip and we have stayed in few other raids and in this trip as well but this one was not acceptable, the location is too shady where you won't feel comfortable at night. On top of it, there is so much unbearable noise coming from other rooms and reception even if someone breaths a bit harder it easily comes to your room with the fact the host likes to speak alot unnecessary with guests at reception because he wants to give endless information and try to make them feel that he cares which is not the case. With that all this noise comes to your room like disaster because it echoes.

Our host, Azdine, was great. At the begginig he showed us all things worth visiting in Marrakech, he organised a day- long trip of our choice for us, showed us the best street food, helped us with communication with other trip organising company, and his Morrocan tea was the best we had. The accomodation was very pretty, colorful, very clean. He had a terrace upstairs where we could stretch every morning. And the breakfast was very good. The property was clean, comfortable, and beautiful, but the highlight was the exceptional hospitality. The host ensured we had a driver waiting for us at the airport when our flight was delayed and we arrived very late at night. A staff member was waiting outside the Riad to assist us when we arrived. The owner, Asdine, is one of the most welcoming people l have ever met. We arranged the private transfer from the airport, which l highly recommend, and he met us where the cars can go no further through the narrow back streets. He walked with us for the final 200m to the Riad, reassuring us the whole medina is a really safe place, just be aware young kids will quickly identify you as tourists and will offer to help you find your way, but they always want money and sometimes send you in the wrong direction for fun. You just politely ignore them and use maps.me - much better than Google maps in the medina. The Riad is lovely and the breakfast was really good. It was clean and has a nice roof terrace, if you want to chill for a while, from the chaos of the medina. It is at the far north of the medina, and there aren't a lot of other tourists staying in this area, but this allows you to experience the real atmosphere of the medina.

Cons: It is quite far from the main square, about 25 mins walking, and initially, it feels quite unnerving as you walk through the maze of narrow alleyways and you are often the only tourists about for the first 1km. The narrow alleyways are more unnerving as motorbikes speed through them, alarmingly close to pedestrians. You also have to share the alleyways with donkey carts, hand carts, diggers and anything else that can somehow squeeze through. The area is quite run down, and you will see a lot of poverty. The people are really friendly, but be respectful and don't photograph them, unless you first get their permission. However, this is Marrakech, and somehow this chaos works, as we didn't witness a single collision or hear about any tourists being harmed.

The thought and energy put in the restoration is evident at first site. The colors are bright and clean. The tile work is fantastic. The little bird couple greet you from the upper railing. You feel so cool and comfortable. It is a safe neighborhood where kids are playing soccer outside the door. This is where true travelers seek to stay.

Location, was tricky if you have luggages and street quite narrow and breakfast was okay.

Cons: The air conditioning wasn't working properly as the heat exceeded 43 degrees, therefore we couldn't sleep during the night.

We recently stayed at Riad 1001 Couleurs in Marrakech and had an absolutely wonderful experience. From the moment we arrived, the warm hospitality and welcoming atmosphere made me feel right at home. The location was perfect, nestled in the heart of the city, allowing easy access to the bustling souks, stunning palaces, and vibrant squares. Despite being so centrally located, the accommodation provided a serene and peaceful retreat from the city's hustle and bustle. The rooms were beautifully decorated, combining traditional Moroccan aesthetics with modern comforts. Every detail was meticulously thought out, from the comfortable beds to the elegant furnishings. The cleanliness and upkeep were impeccable. One of the highlights of my stay was the exceptional service. The staff went above and beyond to ensure my comfort and satisfaction. They were always ready with a friendly smile and helpful advice on local attractions and dining options. Zach was also very friendly and always ready to help us. The on-site amenities were fantastic, including a delightful rooftop terrace. The breakfast each morning was a true delight. Although we would appreciate if the breakfast was a bit diverse. Overall, Riad 1001 Couleurs exceeded our expectations in every way. It provided an authentic and luxurious Moroccan experience that we will cherish forever. We highly recommend this gem in Marrakech to anyone looking for a memorable stay. We can't wait to return!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a beautiful riad in Marrakech, and it was an experience I will never forget. From the moment I arrived, I was enchanted by the stunning architecture and intricate details of the riad. The ambience was both relaxing and inspiring, capturing the essence of Moroccan culture with a perfect blend of modern comfort. The highlight of my stay, however, was the exceptional hospitality of our host, Ezidine. He went above and beyond to ensure that every aspect of our visit was perfect. His warm welcome and genuine friendliness made us feel right at home. Ezidine was incredibly knowledgeable about the city, offering invaluable recommendations for places to visit and things to do. His tips helped us discover some hidden gems that we might have otherwise missed. The attention to detail in both the food and the service was outstanding. Ezidine was always available to assist with any requests or questions, making sure that we were comfortable and well taken care of throughout our stay. The riad itself was a serene oasis, offering a peaceful retreat from the bustling streets of Marrakech. The courtyard was a perfect spot to relax. Our room was beautifully decorated, spacious, and equipped with all the amenities we could possibly need. Overall, my stay at this riad was nothing short of magical, thanks in large part to the incredible hospitality of Ezidine. If you are planning a trip to Marrakech, I highly recommend staying at this riad—you will not be disappointed!

Thanks to our host our visit was so much better. He welcomed us with tea and Moroccan pastries and gave us all the advice on how to move around Medina, what to be aware of and some really nice spots. He also walked with us to show the best way to get around. There is also really cute rooftop terrace where you can enjoy some cookies or just chill after a long day of exploring Marrakech

We were very pleasantly surprised. The owner puts all his heart into this place. Apartments beautiful and clean! We were treated to tea and sweets every day. He spoke English very well so it was no problem to get along. He told us about Morocco and showed us what to visit and what to watch out for. He was an exceptional host for us and with my hand on my heart I can heartily recommend!!!

The booking was for 5 adults and the room was so unclean and also the extra beds where for kids. We had to split our stay and book another riad to be able to sleep. The house keeper Zakaria was super kind and helpful and he made our bad situation be much more better calm. It’s so sad that the pictures doesn’t reflect yeah reality. Also the breakfast is super artificial and unhealthy.

Muchas gracias AZID E ISAAC.

The staff was incredibly welcoming and helpful

Cons: Ensuite bathroom had no full separation from the room. The door was not closing fully leaving a gap in between the ceiling and door. There is little privacy because you can hear any movement from other guests. This was not an inconvenience, just something to keep in mind if you are looking for more privacy or quiet room.

I've never encountered such exceptional hospitality as I did at Azedine's riad. From the moment we arrived, Azedine's passion for his work was palpable, and he went above and beyond to ensure we felt truly welcomed. Not only did he provide valuable tips for exploring the city, but he also delighted us each morning with a different refreshing juice. And let's not forget about his exquisite tea, infused with his secret ingredient, a must-try treat that you simply can't refuse. In the evenings, Zakaria was a gracious host, always ready to assist with a warm smile and engaging conversation. Overall, if you're seeking a captivating stay filled with vibrant colors and unparalleled hospitality, don't hesitate to book this riad. It's an experience you won't soon forget.

The hospitality of this place was on the highest level I’ve ever had from all my travelling destinations. Azdine was extremely helpful and friendly. Always ready to help and full of amazing recommendations and hints about Marrakesh. He picked us up from the taxi driver so we don’t get lost on the way to Riad as well as showed ATM and other places we needed. Even printed flight tickets while we had problem with getting digital boarding pass on Ryanair app. Breakfast was nice and always at the time which was suitable for us (doesn’t matter how early we had to leave certain day). His presence made our stay super comfortable and easy ❤️ In general, Riad has good location, room was cleaned every day and for 7 days we had no issues at all. On the roof is also lovely terrace with lots of seats and sun beds. I’ll highly recommend this place to everyone!

We are a family of 5 and we really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. We loved how breakfast was included in our stay and we received room service nearly every day! The hotel itself is beautiful and always well kept! Yasin really took care of us and we really appreciate his service. He always prepared our breakfast on time, he helped us become familiar with the area, and even though there was a language barrier between us, it never stopped Yasin from helping us enjoy our stay! Yasin is a really honest person with a good heart. Thank you! We have already recommended this hotel to all our family and friends, and we hope to come again soon! Best hotel experience ever!

Cons: The stay in this Riad was cancelled on the same day of our arrival to Marrakech!!! And we payed for it previously! I wrote to alleged manager and an owner, and they both tried to blame each other, while we had no place to stay at the moment... still have no idea what happened, but this was just a terrible thing to do as a host

Radwan, the riad manager was wonderful. He offered us tea and biscuits when we arrived and a traditional breakfast every morning at whatever time we requested. The riad room itself was ok, I’d advise taking flip flops for the shower as it is a wet room which flooded into the main room very easily. The rooms are small but have comfortable beds. Easy to get to the airport and back and the souks by taxi, or walk if you are familiar with the area. Radwan made the experience great, he was most helpful at organising taxi transfers and was always willing to help and polite. Thank you.

Based on positive reviews, we booked a cozy double room. We (a German-Swiss) couple were thrilled to meet the Austrian host, Madame Daniela, but unfortunately she was back in Europe. Fortunately she left the place in very capable hands: Redoin welcomed us warmly and hosted us in a perfect way. He was very kind and helped us with any needs. The cozy Riad itself was very clean, nicely decorated and once inside, you don’t hear Marrakech. After 2 weeks of traveling Morocco, it was also nice to spend an afternoon on the roof terrace. We look forward to meet the owner next time and Redoin again, Inshallah! 🙂

Cons: The location is a little far from typical tourist spots, but therefore it’s very calm and quiet. So for us it was very good!

It is a very nice Riad. Very clean and good located in the Medina. The hoast Bilel was very nice and kind and helped us getting around. He recommended us one of the best restaurants in the Medina and we had a great evening. Even though we just stayed one night it was really nice and funny.

Cons: The only thing was that we didn't had hot water for our shower and the breakfast was a bit rare. But other than that we had a good stay at the Riad.
