L’accueil : -Le calme et la bienveillance sont les points forts de ce riad. Nous nous sommes senties comme à la maison. -Mention spéciale et 10/10 pour Mostafa et Bobker. Toujours souriants, ils ont répondu à toutes nos demandes (eau chaude et baghrir 😅). Les conversations étaient agréables et intéressantes. Merci ! Le riad : -10/10 pour la propreté, aussi bien à l’intérieur qu’à l’extérieur. -Le riad est moderne, bien décoré, avec une très belle terrasse. -L’accessibilité est bonne. Comparé à d’autres riads, il est facile à trouver dans la médina. Nous étions à environ 20 minutes à pied de la place Jemaa el-Fna. -Les petits déjeuners étaient très bons et différents chaque jour. -La terrasse est très belle et cosy. Merci pour ce séjour !
Cons: À noter : trois chambres sont au rez-de-chaussée, ce qui peut être un peu bruyant pendant le petit-déjeuner de la part des autres hôtes. Bémol : Les taxis pour venir nous chercher à l’aéroport. Il y a eu un oubli ou une incompréhension, et nous avons attendu un long moment. Heureusement, tout s’est arrangé ensuite. Conseil : bien confirmer la demande plusieurs fois. -le riad peut paraître un peu loin de la place Jemaa el-Fna pour certaine personne.

We had a wonderful time at Riad Ambre et Jasmin. Everything was super clean, the hotel itself is beautifully decorated with fantastic location (~10min walking to the souk) and the terrace. The breakfast was fantastic with so many options and thoughtfully served! The staff is so incredibly kind. The hospitality they have shown us is truly appreciated! From Abdul greeting us in the middle of the night, picking us up at the taxi drop off point and even accompanying us to get the food, as we arrived very late, to Mustafa with impressive German skills he learned in 3 months... We will be definitely coming back again and can really only recommend this place. Thank you everyone!:)

Abdul and Zakaria were really helpful and flexible around early check. I was made to feel very welcome and they also helped with getting a taxi and carrying my luggage outside of the Medina to the car.

This Riad is amazing! We were welcomed with a mint tea. The check in was super easy. Abdo the night manager was super friendly and helpful. We had to leave early in the morning, and he made us coffee and a little lunch to go which was amazing and super kind of him. We really enjoyed our stay here

A range of pluses! Excellent courteous staff - easily contactable before we came, ready to assist when you arrived; also assisted by making breakfast early so we could go off on a day tour (breakfast starts at 8:00am otherwise) Lovely breakfast - nothing spectacular but does the job and we were happy with the tea and coffee and means to fill up the belly before a day's outing! Excellent location! Right in the medina, <5 minute walk to a main road (easily accessible by cars/taxis) - search Bab Doukkala Pharmacie, 10 minute walk from the Ben Youssef Madrasa, and 20 minutes walk through the souks to the Jemaa square. You may find it tricky to get to the hotel the first time, so just make sure you have google maps handy or at least a print off of the area from the pharmacy to the hotel. Once you are used to the route, it's very easy.
Cons: One minor issue - the front door to the Riad is locked and in order to get in, at least to my knowledge, you need a member of staff to be there. Every time we came back, whatever time of day it was, we needed to knock on said door. I would recommend the hotel coming up with a solution to this problem, as we felt guilty coming back at 11pm from a desert tour, but had no other option and many travelers are going to do this.

The property is absolutely beautiful and the rooms are equally lovely. This was a wonderful stay after our foray into the desert. It’s like a tranquil little retreat in the heart of Marrakech. A little bit outside the hustle and bustle of the main streets, it’s central enough that you can get to everything easily but also not on one of the main busy streets. The staff were lovely, especially Siham and the owner who helped organise taxis for us and gave us recommendations of what to see and where to eat. Overall it was wonderful.

"A hidden gem in the Medina.." The Riad is an absolutely amazing oasis in the middle of the historical Medina. Just few steps away from the crowded market and souks, there is a cute, well kept Riad. We really enjoyed our time here, thanks to Mustapha who is an amazing host!

Our room was very spacious and cozy, just as shown on the pictures. The community spaces are also very comfortable and intimate and offer many areas to retreat from the speed of the medina around it. The terrace on the roof is especially pretty, great for watching the sunrise, sunset or having a relaxing time in the middle of the day before going out into the city again. Breakfast and service are outstanding. Mustafa and Ridwan made us feel right at home from the very first moment and assisted us with every wish that we had. The whole Riad is equipped with nice furniture and tasteful accessories. All in all a 10/10 recommendation. The next time we come to Marrakesh we will definitely come back to Ambre et Jasmin without question.

I had a fantastic experience at the Riad. I am travelling alone and I found a lot of peace here. I recommend having breakfast upstairs on the terrace. I booked for two nights and then decided to stay another night because I really felt at home. I really appreciate the service and the good treatment of all the people who work here. Hassan welcomed me from the first day with a big smile, and Mustafa, always very attentive and helpful, has practically become a friend. I wish them all the best. Everything was fabulous. Comfy bed, easy to relax in the quiet and we felt safe and cosy. The place is clean and we loved the design. Gorgeous terrace. Moustafa, welcomed us with such genuine kindness and hospitality — a real asset to Ambre et Jasmin. The breakfast was yummy, and had us set for the day. Ayoub helped us organise our airport transfer and gave us some nice recommendations also. As our first stop in Morocco we didn’t want to leave. Thank you!!!

Wonderful, kind hosts. Had a great time at this hotel. I especially enjoyed the spacious room and many places to hang clothes. There was a hairdryer, no tv, private bathroom and a balcony to hang out on. Sometimes you could hear noise from outside but it’s a very quiet street overall, and we were on the ground floor so it was not a problem. Would highly recommend.

An incredible stay from start to finish! The staff went above and beyond to make me feel at home. Mustafa - who was working on the front desk when I arrived - was a stranger to begin, and a friend when I left. Thank you for everything! The property is situated in a quieter part of the Medina, and felt completely secure, with a beautiful rooftop to relax and unwind after a busy day walking around. The rooms were clean, spacious, and gave me what I needed for two nights in Marrakesh.

The Team at Riad Ambre et Jasmin was super friendly and really made the stay special. The Riad is beautiful and it always smells nice when entering. The rooftop terrace is super nice as well. Everything felt quite authentic. Breakfast was also delicious. Location is walking distance to all the sights. Its in a small back alley, we always felt safe but still worth to mention to be prepared. Also worth mentioning is that you have to be close to the person you share your room with because the bathroom area is designed quite openly. There is a door to the toilet but it doesn’t reach the ceiling or floor. We would definitely stay here again.

The staff were extremely helpful and welcoming. I was somewhat overwhelmed on arrival by the whole experience as it was our first time in Morocco. I was assured it was safe which helped quell my concerns. The room was very smart and clean. The souks are extraordinary but not for the faint hearted. Motor bikes roaring at speed through the narrow streets can be very disconcerting. We enjoyed the YXL gardens and the museum. When we left for our next Riad the following day which was only a few minutes away, we heard my name being called by the hotel manager who saw that we were going the wrong way! We were so grateful to him for his extra care and attention.
Cons: Hard selling in the markets is a put off but to be expected. Motor bikes careering through the souks.

The location is perfect, near everything. They were pretty good, always available and kind.
Cons: There are two wild birds that live in the property and that loudly sing for most of the day, starting at 06:30am, often from right outside our door. Cute, but annoying. Also the jacuzzi on the terrace was very noisy and we could hear it in our room. We were disappointed that they lied to us when they offered us the airport transfer for €16, saying that a normal taxi from the airport would cost €6 more than that (€22), when in fact it only costs €8/10. We were disappointed that the taxi transfer for our departure was not arranged and we only learned that as we were walking to the car that wasn't there. We had to grab a taxi in a rush by ourselves early morning and hope for the best. We were disappointed that they offered us a private car transfer to visit Essaouira for MAD600; the next morning just before departure, the private car became a 22 seater van, which we later learned that it normally costs MAD400 for two people. To have the private car that we wanted, we had to pay MAD1,150 and we later learned that any driver would happily take that job for half that. We trusted them, but unfortunately we shouldn't have. We were disappointed that we asked them on two separate occasions to book us with a different driver to go to Essaouira, than the one who picked us up from the airport and to our surprise there he was, with his rattling car which gave us a backache and who drove like an absolute lunatic. We were disappointed that they turned off the air conditioner in our room as soon as we left and we had to come back to a warm room. We were disappointed that the city tax bill was increased from €35 to €42 with no expansion. We were disappointed that they insistently asked us to write a five star review the evening before we left. When I said that I would've done it, the guy said: "no, please now".

The Riad was delightfully decorated and furnished. What it lacks in luxury, it makes up for in charm. The service is what sets it apart. It was exceptional. From the personalised welcome and obligatory tea, to the help locating taxis and restaurants, the staff were incredibly helpful. They also prepared an excellent breakfast which we all enjoyed.
Cons: I’d recommend arranging an airport transfer through the Riad to avoid getting lost. Most Riads are down an alley as opposed to on a main road, so taxis can’t drop you off immediately outside. You have to walk a few minutes.

The property at Riad Ambre et Jasmin is spectacular! Make sure when you’re planning your trip to Morocco you plan a stay at a riad, Ambre et Jasmin is the perfect one. The staff at Ambre et Jasmin are some of the most wonderful people I have come across. My wife and I were quite sick when we arrived and they couldn’t have been more accommodating and helpful. They went out of their way to get us back into good health, with food and medicine. Thanks from the bottom of my heart to Karim and all the wonderful staff!! The room was stunning it was on the ground floor with a gorgeous dinning area for breakfast and some comfortable couches to relax in. There is also a gorgeous terrace with jacuzzi on the roof which is just absolutely stunning making this place one of a kind.

Our stay at this riad was truly exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and hospitality by Karim, the manager, and Fahad. Karim's accessibility and willingness to assist with everything from arranging activities to booking tickets and taxis made our stay effortless. Both Karim and Fahad went above and beyond to ensure our safety as we navigated the city. Whether it was accompanying us to a particular destination or guiding us to a taxi stand, even in the early hours of the morning, they made sure we returned safely to the riad. Thanks to Karim and Fahad, our stay was not only comfortable but also thoroughly enjoyable. Their attentive service and genuine care for their guests made our experience unforgettable. We would highly recommend this riad.

Cons: The area of the hotel was dirty. There was poor hygiene. There was no public transport that could get us there, there was no roads. We had to walk to the hotel. It was difficult finding the hotel. We had to pay someone to help us find the hotel and give us directions. The area looked like a slum. There was Poor environment. The property itself was very old. It didn’t even meet any of the health and safety regulations. We had three nights booked but because how poor the environment and hygiene of the hotel was so bad we only spent one night and left the next morning. They charged me the full amount for all three nights. The toilet was very small. The shower wasn’t working properly. In the sink cold water wasn’t even working. There was a sewer smell in the area. It was awful. My experience there was awful. I went thinking these reviews of other customers saying it was excellent was true but after my experience it was not true it was a scam. It was an unsatisfactory experience.

The Riad was beautifully decorated, the staff went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. With only arriving to the Riad at 9pm, Fahd made us a 3 course meal which was delicious. He also served us breakfast every morning which differed each day, it was delicious. Siham the manager always checked in on us to make sure we were comfortable.

The property was genuine and very beautiful, used to be a family home, only 7 rooms. It was quiet and the staff are super friendly and helpful in every way. My daughter and I felt very welcome there.

I had a wonderful experience at the Riad! The place was stunning, the service was exceptional, and they went above and beyond when I wasn't feeling well. I suggest this Riad to all guests. The staff was always very very kind and ready to suggest places to visit and excursions to do. There is always a very kind guy as a guardian, that receives guests at the door. When we arrived they received us with a cup of green tea, and every morning there was breakfast with many typical and traditional food. We asked for breakfast before the time, and they always satisfied us with pleasure. Thank you for making this vacation perfect!

The manager(s) were both incredibly friendly, true sense of hospitality and helped with absolutely anything and everything. The road is immaculately clean and so peaceful.
Cons: You can’t drive outside you need to have someone meet your driver/taxi and then walk to it as the Riad is in a small street in the medina

It was a beautiful raid, with a nice design. The staff couldn’t be more friendly. Because of a problem with booking I had to change dates, wich wasn’t a problem at all. Furthermore the owner stayed up till 1 am and waited for me to check in. If this doesn’t show of great customer care I don’t know what dose!

We arrived 30 minutes after the earthquake and had to spend just 1 day at the hotel. I am very thankful to the stuff of the hotel who showed their hospitality and help during that time. Especially great thank to Mr. Quadiri who stayed with us the whole night and with no sleep prepared delicious breakfast! The road is very beautiful!!
Cons: Only one thing which we could experience is that shower water was constantly cold. This is the only one improvement I would suggest.

we had a great time in this ryad, we totally advise to stay in here as the staff is really nice and caring. For example Ismaïl , the males receptionists always offered to accompany us to places to make sure we don’t get scammed and also Fahd gave his number so at night if we feel scared to walk around alone, he offered to pick us up. they were very available as they made sure our stay was comfortable. We didn’t know before hand, it would have been great to know that you can also book various activities through the ryad, such us camel riding which we absolutely suggest. Overall as two female traveller we felt safe and welcome staying in this place, is we ever come back we would totally stay here again.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. I enjoyed the breakfasts and the evening meals. Also, I really liked the a/cond in my room, it worked very well. I also enjoyed using the rooftop area. Example of great service, I asked if I could have breakfast early in the morning (normally at 08.00), I said for 05.00, night porter said what!, followed immediately by of course, no problem!
Cons: No problems, except for the Wifi was erratic, sometimes 90 mps up and down, then nothing! Local problem with network coverage, and the water pressure for the shower was a bit weak (Medina piping?)

The property was nice. Especially the staff. Ismael was very good with hospitality and always went an extra mile. He gave us a lot of advice and tips. Location was also decent. Google maps is actually reliable although a lot of the locals would tell you it isn’t. They either want you to follow them so that they can charge you. NEVER FOLLOW ANYONE! the hote also gives you that experience of life as a local so its good. Breakfast was nice and filling. Overall not bad for the price

Location of the property was not very nice, it’s old side of Marrakech, you have to go through the bazar and vendors and some live fish sellers , the smell of this not very nice. Hotel staff was very nice and friendly. Rooms were very very nice and spacious.

Great stay in Marrakesh! Our riad host, Oussama, helped us in everything and gave a lot of valuable advice. The riad is about 20 min walk from the Jemaa el-Fna Square, but it was quiet and the hospitality was great. One evening, when we were tired to go out, Oussama even organized dinner for us on the rooftop. They have a small jacuzzi there, too, which was nice!

I just want to mention everything was good about the property except it is difficult to mix the hot and cold water while taking shower. It is one of the best Riads and clean Riad I have lived in. It is in old part of Medina which is just dirty and is just the nature of that hustle and bustle of traders as they only clean it at night time.

Very beautiful Riad located in Medina. It is bout 30 minutes walk to the main market (very busy area). Nice architecture and very friendly and helpful staff - they helped us with all our requests. They are very responsive via chat and able to acocmodate any other special service - hammam, etc.
Cons: Walking on the streets towards the Riad there is a food market and it may be disturbing for some people. Cannot drive to it. Limited breakfast options, mainly sweets. The staff doesn't speak English.

The riad is located in the old city of Medina on a street full of locals and all the hustle and bustle is within 10 minutes on foot, which is exactly what we wanted. It's decorated very traditionally, offers a traditional breakfast with locally bought groceries, the staff is very kind and helpful and the host was there to help make our every wish happen. And all that for a decent price! We can only recommend staying here for a full Morrocan experience!

The restaurant and rooms are close together and it is like a family home. The owner is working a lot and invests a lot of time in his passion.
Cons: The room has no windows but the decoration is nice. If you want to be quiet, it is a little more difficult, because of the music until midnight and the guests in the restaurant.

The highlight of our stay was the staff. Abdul and the whole crew were extremely welcoming and helpful. They gave us a great first impression of the city and the people. The hotel is beautiful and the rooms were tidy and clean with everything we needed. The breakfast is a big plus and we looked forward to it every morning. Thanks to the staff for making us feel so comfortable and welcome!
