Very big hotel, very old needs renovations. Theres no hair dryer or iron in the rooms, not enough light in the room. Need to get new beds, shower needs to be updated . Breakfast is the same everyday. There’s potential once it’s renovated. The staff are very nice

I recently stayed at this hotel, and unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing. There were numerous issues throughout my stay that made it quite unpleasant: 1) Uncomfortable Bedding: The pillows were essentially tiny cushions, making it very difficult to sleep. The bed was also uncomfortably low. 2) Room Cleanliness: The floor was dirty, and there were broken tiles in the bathroom, which created an overall unclean and unsafe environment. 3) Bathroom Issues: The toilet was leaking, which was unhygienic and inconvenient. 4) Access Problems: The doors didn’t function properly. I had to go to reception just to have them unlock my door, and I later realized the doors were left unlocked during the night, which raised safety concerns. 5) Noise and Odor: Doors were constantly slamming, and there was a pervasive smell of cannabis throughout the hotel 6) Safety Concerns: These issues, particularly the unlocked doors at night, made me feel uneasy. Overall, the establishment felt poorly maintained, and I am relieved it was only a transit stay. I would not recommend this hotel to others based on my experience.

Jardins et piscines parfaitement entretenus. Mais l’intérieur de l’hôtel est mal entretenu. Personnels trop peu nombreux. Dommage car architecture superbe. Femmes de chambre et serveurs au restaurant sont attentionnés. Apres la pluie diluvienne, on a mis des jours à étancher l’eau dans les couloirs et restos de l’hôtel .

The room they gave us at the biggining was so dirty the toilet had hair in it the pillows had no covers I had to wait them because they said they are in the laundry room the carpet was dusty I went down they called there gouvernor she was so mad at the room cleaning lady saying that she can’t believe that was her cleaning because she’s a good cleaner whatever they change me the room a bit cleaner than the first one honestly that hotel is a read flag from the elevator to the hallway to the room the balcony I don’t want to speak about it yes it’s cheap but it’s so dirty

Excellent variety of facilities, nice spacious rooms, helpful and friendly staff, good location to walk/taxi to other areas nearby. Was given a replacement room on day 2 due to tv and AC not working, both of these worked in the new room without any further issue. Would definitely use hotel again.

DO NOT BOOK THIS PROPERTY. We had two major issues related to amenities: No hot water and No air-conditioner or heating. The receptionist was the rudest guy we ever met. When we complained about these two issues, told us . We probably would have left, had we not been ill on that day. However, another guy comes in and promised us to give another room on day 2. On day 2, we were told that the manager was not there yet and asked us to wait. Day 2 was gone. On day 3, not having a bath for 3 days due to lack of hot water, and sleeplessness due to the lack of proper heating, we dared not to ask anymore and decided to leave the hotel before our schedule. We claimed a refund for our last two days, but according to Hotels.com the property denied the request. And there are a number of minor issues: broken toilet seat, tissue holder.. electronic door key-card that does not work most of the times, toilet and bathroom doors that do not close properly…… Hotels.com has been supportive, but Hotels.com should ban this property from their list. The way I see it, I paid Hotels.com for 3 nights of my stay with a/c and hot water, which I did not get. And Hotels.com failed to collect refund for me. So, even though, Hotels.com generously offered me coupon, for the sake of the next customers of Hotels.com, this property should be banned for breaching contracts and providing service with impolite, rude personnel.

Hotel service is very poor this time around. Spa is closed, gym is out of order, balcony cheers had a nail sticking out of it on both chairs, balcony table covered in dust. Me and my friend went down to reception 4 times in two days to complain to get new chairs and they ignored us and didnt change it. We asked for two glasses for our room for the alcohol and everyday they turned us away saying we dnt have many glasses in hotel

This is a complete shamble. The hotel is not fit for staying from all angles , hygiene far belw standard. Old nothing is working including light, tabs in the toilet, shower not working. It should be reported to the local authorities to close it. There is no light inthe Communal area people are using torch. This complete theft.

The good; Room was good size. Plenty of space and various sittings. Pool is large and so clean. Area around the pool is large and relaxing. Breakfast is ok. Good security and plenty of nice parking spaces if you have a car. Staff are friendly. The bad: Room lightning needs an upgrade. Some power outlets are not working or broken. Bidet is not stable. Overall i was happy with my stay.

It is apparent that the hotel at one time was quite lovely with large rooms, large reception areas, and a garden. But it is in desperate need of renovation. My room was clean luckily (others were not) but the carpet was worn with what appeared to be burned in footprints, worn tired towels, unreliable WiFi (was there on business), dimly lit hallways at night (if at all). My toilet was obviously not cleaned after my first night (but was thereafter). Breakfast is included but very limited options. Hotel is on a small street which also needs repair and other hotels in immediate area seem to be vacant. I hear Semiramis is seeking new ownership. Hopefully so with full renovation as there is definite potential to make the hotel great.

It has a nice view but not very good service. The air conditioner doesn’t work and the room is full of ants. Also the hotel become quite old and needs to be renovated. We booked breakfast in the hotel but everyday they give the same repetitive food and no new types of varieties. However the view outside is very natural and has a big pool. Overall the experience was ok but I do not redeem it acceptable .

As the hotel was listed as a 4 star establishment, I believed it would be much better than it was. For starters, the rooms were terribly unclean. I had mold in the shower and paint peeling off the walls. There were holes in the carpet and the entire room felt extremely dirty. I kept my sandals on the entire time I was in the room. The rooms look nothing like the pictures provided on the websites and I was extremely disappointed with the overall experience. As I had to pay before being shown the room and hotel, I was unable to get my money back, but if I had been able, I would have changed hotels the first day of my trip. Although the included breakfast was tasty, it had very little option and the same food was served each morning which got very repetitive. I don't often leave reviews, but I wanted to warn people looking at staying in the hotel that just because it has a 4 star review does not mean it looks like the available pictures.

This is a quite and safe hotel to stay in. Markets and reataurants are a short drive away. Breakfast is delicious! Reception staff could improve by smiling and welcoming guests with a little bit more enthusiasm. Electronic safe in room # 123 did not work. Overall, this hotel provides a great value for the money! Keep it up!

First impressions are so important, Sadly the people at reception let this place down. You get the feeling they are doing you a favour. When we arrived at the room it hadn't been cleaned and we were asked to wait !! I insisted they allocate us a room that was ready and were given an inferior room. I should add that this was after 5pm.

This is one amazing place to stay in Marrakech. It is close to one of the major routes into the centre of Marrakech - so in a great location, with bus route no. 1 close by. There are expensive taxis, as normal for nice hotels, right outside, but taxis can be found at more reasonable cost in the busier roads nearby, with negotiation of course. There is an AMAZING swimming pool and an AMAZING garden around the back past the pool, also, a playground for kids in this garden (this is really good for people with young children to know about) For options re. food, if the hotel menu doesn't have what you would like, or you fancy a change, plenty of choice in restaurants around, including Bingoz.Breakfast is ok, although, be there early if you like cheese as that runs out. The people working here are extremely pleasant, responsive (always good for customer service) and very helpful. Although one day I tried to get a coffee inside the bar by the pool. I must have been invisible? After what seemed too a long wait, I decided to give up as that is not what you expect. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The hotel has a lot of character, being older, it has lovely features, like berber carpet in the hallways. This place is extremely reasonable for the price which makes it manageable for a limited budget, and with the delightful pool and garden, a real treasure - HIGHLY RECOMMENDED - this is an outstanding gem of a place to stay.

The ratings are clearly based off of the decor of the hotel but not for the rooms themselves they where all unclean and dingy. The bed sheets where dirty and we asked for new sheets and they where evenmore dirty than the first sheets. The furniture was also very dirty and old along with the fridges however they where cold and did work. We also had problems with calling the front desk from our rooms as they would not answer majority of the times, we often needed to go down to the front desk for anything. The aircon was terrible they either didnt work or they would only hit one area within the room and we had to change rooms as there was a disgusting smell in the morning that smelt like the drains. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. The breakfast was okay. Swimming pool looked nice but never had the chance to use it.

Our air conditioning did not work, or when it did work it was very weak and hardly cooled the room down at all. There was very poor communication from the staff when checking in, we did not get told that the Buffett dinner was included in our stay, so for 2 nights we were buying dinners at the other part of the restaurant to only find out on our third night that there was a buffet that was included. There never seemed to be towels in the rooms and when asked for a new towel it was very time consuming. Restaurant staff were friendly and helpful

It was a horrible experience , 1st of all when we arrive , they told us there is working AC. Marrakech is very hot and they don’t have AC :). The receptionist was very rude, she told us I could let you go up without telling you about AC problem , Then you will feel hot and come to complain. 2nd After 1 hour fighting , the manager comes and tell us wait we have a room with partially working AC. After they clean the room, they told us there is no cover for the duvet and we have to accept it without cover as all in the laundry !! 3rd they give us 1 towel for 2 persons and ask us to wait until night to bring the 2nd because there are no more stock !! 4th and last problem in just our 2 night reservation , I got a rented car , I suppose to put it in the hotel parking , I come after midnight they told me the park is complete and you have to stay outside, I said okey there is no problem. When I go outside a watch man in the area told me the whole are is rented by me from the municipality and you have to pay me for 1 night stay !!! I ask the hotel how come the parking fits for almost around 50 cars (the number I see by eyes) and you have more rooms and even they don’t want to cover the parking cost outside .They told me it’s not our problem. I never recommend this hotel to any one. Very rude stuff and not helpful at all, They room itself is so old and so dusty floors.

Maybe not ideal, but this hotel definitely stands from the crowd of city hotels in Gueliz (one of the modern parts of Marrakech). It's a huge property, with even bigger and beautiful green garden, restricted access and parking inside the boundaries. The rooms are really spacious, clean and comfortable, and you can really feel as a special guest there. My only little problem was with the curtains in my room that looked like after a lion attack (not allowing me to close them completely and allowing the Sun to wake me up early), but apart from that the only distraction was some unknown to me bird species that didn't want to sleep until after midnight. Other than that this place is amazingly quiet and gives you a great night sleep. WiFi is not great, but does the job. The parking is big and you can always have a place there - no matter how late you arrive. The hotel is easily accessible by car - only the last 150 m are some not very well paved street, but nothing to be worried about.

although not very clean, the property is acceptable for its cost and proximity. However, the staff at the checking needs a LOT of training concerning dealing with clients and respect of privacy. The breakfast area and the people working there is what is the most attractive even though at the front gate a privately restaurant provides much better breakfast and more for much less. Yes I may go back to this hotel, because of its proximity to University.

Pros and cons to this property. I hesitated booking here because of the location and reviews. The room was big. Staff were very friendly and helpful. This is a tired old hotel. Comfy enough bed. Not a great location. A little far out from Médina. Wishing easy can distance. Nice big pool and gardens, not heated. I believe the nightclub was busy. Didn’t hear it. Not a lot near this hotel. Budget. Was ok. Balcony sliding door didn’t lock. Couple of power points not working.

Door key would not work and every day unblocking needed at reception with ur shoping bags u have to make several returns. Toilet flash doesnt work. Wifi very poor. Surprinsgly locker inside room was with hidden charges of 25 dirham per day.

The rooms are very old and lots wrong with them. I was moved three times and there was plenty wrong with every room - from cockroaches to no air conditioning, to the nonstop running toilet, etc. etc. And don't bother calling the front desk as they rarely answer the phone.

The Hotel is more 3 star then 4. Hotel room was substandard and Air Condition was poor and non existent. Meals were standard with no choice of extras. If you needed anything there was a price tag attached to it. e.g pot of hot water, 20 dirhams. Hot milk for tea 20 dirhams. Amenities i.e swimming pool, gardens etc were satisfactory. Catering staff were were not co-operative and at times rude. Yin Yen Travels nearby were fantastic and booked a beautiful Cash-bar at the Atlas Mountain at a very reasonable price. Best Trip we have had.

When we asked the reception they had no comments and asked us to go somewhere else if you like. Overall I would not recommend this hotel and don’t want anyone to fall for the fake reviews.

The hotel was easy to find, and it's close to major attractions. Fast checkout & nice staff at the reception. They forgot to bring me the extra enfant bed I requested & also the room has a twin bed not a double as requested. It was also smoking when I requested a non smoking room. There were issues with my room key cards as I had to go back & forth to reception to re-activate them (couldn't open the door). The parking is also small, had to park outside. Overall, it's an average family hotel, nice swimming pool & good location. I won't be back though!

My experience at Semiramis was not so good.. the staff is unprofessional.. the rooms are extremely dirty and stink (toilet smell + wet carpet smell) TERRIBLE.. I had to change my rooms 3 times during my 7 nights stay just to experience the same disappointment. I don't recommend it.. Parking places are limited. for me, this is the last time I will visit Semiramis Marrakech:-( RUN AWAY

Very dirty hotel with not a great service It is more like a 2.5 star hotel definitely not a 4 star hotel The toilet door does not close nor does the bathroom door for many different rooms. They changed our room 5 times as no doors will close. Electrical lines are open so a safety hazard. Food gives you bellyache so keep that in mind. To be fair Swimming pool was actually quite nice. But keep in mind that even though there are lifeguards they are not doing their jobs. We had to save 2 people from drowning during our stay in the swimming pool. The lifeguards response was that there is too many people you cannot expect use to keep an eye on you all. Luckily me and my family are good swimmers so didn’t not need lifeguard help. Another positive of this hotel was that the rooms were quite spacious with a lovely balcony. I think this place is very good for anyone who on a tight budget or those who would spend mostly of their days outdoors touring/excursions and just need a bed to lie on.

From the airport, I call the hotel, told them we were on our way. Reception advises they don't have a reservation for us. The receptionist told me to give her the name and booking number which I did. I told her I was on my way and she said fine, When we arrive at the hotel I was pleased to find out the booking was in and check in was very easy. Eating at the hotel was expensive. Thankfully there was a restaurant nearby call Bingoz that we made our go-to place to eat and drink. Great food and staff at Bingoz. The restaurants at the hotel were mainly empty most nights. A few staff at the hotel was very nice and helpful. I would assume because there were so many kids they would have poolside activities and more. Very disappointing because I had my 3-year-old daughter and all we did was spent time in the pool. it was fun but just wish they had more kids activities. The kids' area was nice but no kids attended the club. they need to have a younger person in charge of working in the kids club. I felt like the lady that works there was nice but they need someone more energized working there. My phone was stolen from our room. Told the receptionist and manager and they didn't seem to care. The phone is a material thing but very disappointing. Recommendation to others - Change your money or withdraw from atm before leaving the airport. Be mindful of drivers. negotiate your price before jumping in a taxi

I came back yday from Marrakech and it was a amazing experience I enjoyed every bit of it and there’s not a bad thing I could say about it. Only thing that could be better was their English which would help but I managed to get by so it was fine. The hotel was very good for a 4 star and the price I paid and would recommend it as it’s clean and people and staff are friendly and kind. The bell man Mohammed was very helpful in my stay there..

the experience with this hotel was great, however there were a few things that could have improved. I was expecting to have a functioning television in my room and I did not have one at all. but this is minor for the most part I was not in my hotel room enough to watch except at night. The staff was extremely friendly and very knowledgeable about the surrounding areas to find or buy things I needed. I definitely needed an adaptor to charge my phone and there was a shop right in the hotel , I appreciated this a lot!!! My over all experience was fantastic! I also loved that I had a balcony to step out on it was great.

Worst hotel I have ever stayed in, smells of ciggerates in the whole hotel. WiFi is diabolical, and not to forget when I asked for an iron they said we don’t give out irons how does a room not have an iron. Staff are very very rude for a 4 star hotel it was really bad. The only positive thing was the pool which was clean and very big.

I was a bit cautious after reading the reviews online but everything was good especially Salma was very helpfull, beautiful and proffesional. This hotel should deserve 5 stars. The pool was nice. Kids enjoyed the activities. Amazing buffet breakfast. Wish I went for fully inclusive at this hotel. I would not go for a different hotel.

the hotel if its managment does some thing it can be one of better hotel the area and intrance. view are nice but as soon as you go inside you will be disapointed the building is goo place in reception is wide but is not used. very dirty looks agly room are wide with balcon but furinsure are bad. broken and dirty I hope one of famous company can take it and it can make it 5 stars hotel

When we arrived, I and my wife, they guive us the room dirty is not ready to sell , is the first time she’s visit my country, and this hotel guive to her bad experience and impression. The roof is broken and the water of the rain make all the carpet weat, when is raining, also the breakfast we paid. And she didn’t finish and they make complaining about take the food at room we already paid for this. We would like from Expedia our money back.

Absolutely not worth staying at this hotel even if you are just looking for a place to sleep. 1. No air conditioning - The temperature in Marrakech varies for more than 10 degrees in the same day. Ona hot night there is no cooling. We complained and they said they don't have cooling in there hotel and asked us to leave the balcony door open, which brings other set of problems like mosquitoes and noise. 2. Bad internet - Internet is next to useless. You are better off using your 3G but relying on there internet even for simple browsing. Even for printing our tickets at their reception took more than half an hour. 3. Staff hasn't been very helpful. When you ask them something the answer comes back a straight "I dont know". When we asked to change our rooms because its too hot , the staff was laughing on the phone and asked us to come next day. 4. The 3 rooms we changed we didn't find any double beds. 5. The location of the hotel is very difficult to find taxis from. The private taxis outside are nothing but theirs waiting to rip you off. 6. Breakfast is just horrible. Boiled eggs, breads, few salads is all they have. Coffee was so horrible I had to spat it out.

Best 4* hotel I have ever stayed in Morocco. Location is perfect as it is in the middle of Giliz High Street (New City) & The Big Square in Old City. Staff at reception was helpful, room service, breakfast, spa centre, swimming pool, everything was perfect. Stayed there from january 2-5 this year. Try & You will be amazed... Do not read the negative reviews, its all perfect..

Staying here was okay, in general, the staff was helpful and friendly. the problem was it just wasn't the greatest hotel. It's difficult to explain, because nothing necessarily was wrong (for the most part read later) but the lobby looks beautiful, along with the bar and many lounge type areas. The problem is they have areas in the middle of the hotel that is next to walking areas (to get to the rooms) and they have a garden in one area and the other I don't remember what was there. However, in this area above is where the roof has glass windows, and I'd assume they had some places open for the rain to come in. The rain flooded the floors and into some of the rooms. Thankfully not mine, but others, and all over the walkway areas of the second floor (for them its the top floor).
