Very little. I was treated so rudely that I ended up cancelling my stay the very first day.
Cons: In my 30+ years of global travel, I have never been treated so poorly by staff members. I made a late booking and thought that I was lucky enough to get a nice Riad. On arrival I was asked to pay cash. The banking system in Morocco can be quite challenging for European travellers as it can be hard to use your cards in machines as they detect Africa and as such can block them to protect customers. The lines at the ATMS's and 'could you get your money' to each other is a readily seem occurrence. Whist this is great as a means of protection, it can leave you stranded on occasion. My card would not work at the premises so after approx. 10 min back and forth I was made to feel quite uncomfortable but they allowed me to stay. The following morning literally as I sat down to breakfast "so you pay me now". Again we ended up in an argument of sorts. I had stayed at a prior Riad so called one of the staff there as I had his mobile number. We WhatsApp video called and that staff member (Hassan from Riad Adika who is amazing) spoke with the young member of staff that I was being berated by. While I am an English speaker only there was no language barrier but having Hassan provide support was of great assistance. I asked to speak with the owner but was told that they were Moroccan, lived in France and only spoke Arabic. The tone and aggressive nature was somewhat apparent. We argued and I ultimately cancelled my stay (was to be 3 nights), packed in a hurry and then went looking for a bank machine. Eventually got one that worked (you need to try different machines as some close or are temporarily unavailable). I got the money, went back to another argument, paid and departed. We literally almost had a physical altercation as the 'manager' also turned up and was equally if not more offensive. I kept getting reminded that they are poorly paid staff only and the owner insists on cash so they have to do what they are told.

Il riad è molto curato e elegante, il personale molto gentile e in pochi minuti si arriva al mercato. Ci siamo mossi a piedi con tutta tranquillità. Colazione buona

Nothing
Cons: A totally unnecessary, cosmetic construction (flooring) in front of our room, not letting us get rest whole day after a long train trip, no privacy because of the people working in front of our door, inhaling dust coughing, all the construction materials are outside, creating a slippery surface, obstacles in corridors, very inexperienced young stuff, manager is not in the hotel and sending us defensive messages after all that happened. Plus a man trying to enter our room at midnigt, employees are not assuring us with safety, just saying it was a confused costomer, no need to warn him. Employees speaking loud midnight, customers listening to loud music in common area at midnight. Hotel refusing to regulate the noise, instead being defensive again. We couldn’t sleep, we couldn’t get a proper rest. On top of it had to deal with manager being rude while he was not even in the hotel! What an experience!!

Cons: There was no water for some time during the day, The room was dark with little lighting. I could hear a-lot of maintenance being carried out. As for the breakfast you will be offered one pot of coffee or Moroccan tea along side a small selection of dairy products and fruit. I would not recommend the breakfast as it lack so many items. Furthermore there was not tea or coffee making facilities in the room.

Breakfast. The staff was helpfull.
Cons: It's not like in the photos. The main part with the pool is nice, although there could be improvements there too (cracked walls...). In all the riads we've stayed in before, they first offered tea as a welcome, but not here. We slept in a room on the terrace. The room had swollen, old laminate flooring, and the entire staircase was the same. In the room, the glass on the door was taped up with sticky tape. The wardrobe was from a cheap commercial store, as was the bathroom cabinet. I've stayed in riads for half the price, and it was like an Arabian fairy tale, but this was a real disappointment. It's absolutely not worth the price of 120 euros per night. We treated ourselves because it was our 10th wedding anniversary, but we were really disappointed.

Staff were nice and helpful
Cons: It was the worst value for money! We were not expect to stay in a room fulled with smell of moisture! The bathroom didn’t have any air ventilation; not even a small window or an extractor fan. The condition of bathroom walls and ceiling can be seen in the photos. We woke up many times during every night because of the noice coming from outside. It was all in our room when a person spoke outside. Breakfast was very decent, we stayed 3 nights but they have never served eggs. Room service was strange, when they told they changed our towels, towels in our room were wet. We asked for new ones and they kindly replaced the current towel (2 big 2 small) but two of them eere slightly wet again. They probably don’t have a drying machine or a proper way to dry towels. The location of riad is a bit weird, like a labyrinth.

very friendly staff, they'd make sure we had everything we needed for a pleasant stay in the Riad. They also arranged a spa visit for us and the cab back to the airport. Very good breakfast (yogurt, fruits, bread, butter and jelly, coffee and tea) and the space was clean as well. Good location, not in the heart of the medina but short distance from it.
Cons: the room is slightly smaller than i imagined and there was not a locker/safe available in the room (i had previously sent a message to the property asking if it was available and they confirmed it was; it wasn't the case for our room). Not many common areas either, they do have a terrace but it's a small one.

We stayed at Maison Belbaraka for four nights and had a very pleasant experience. The riad is charming, peaceful, and characteristics, with rooms that, while small, are thoughtfully curated. Zaccaria and the other receptionist were exceptionally kind and helpful throughout our stay. They assisted us with booking activities and transportation, offered valuable suggestions, and ensured we had everything we needed. One of the standout features of this ryad is its excellent location. It’s just a five-minute walk from the Medina and a 15-minute stroll to Jamaa El Fnaa, making it the perfect base for exploring the city on foot. Additionally, the meeting point for many excursions is conveniently located only five minutes away. Overall, we highly recommend Maison Belbaraka for a comfortable and convenient stay in Marrakech.
Cons: Some rooms are characteristic and traditional, but they might be considered small.

Cons: The facilities like the pool and bathrooms were old and/ or not as clean as one would like. But mainly the guy who was on as host put a lot of pressure on us to pay cash, when I did not want this he said that paying by card was not possible. After a couple more questions it became clear that he did not want to pay the service charge. Then the next morning we were snubbed for arriving at breakfast at 9.40 (we were told breakfast was until 10) al in al I felt very uncomfortable here.

Richid, was lovely and room was nice too. The bathroom did have a few ants in it, but we weren’t too stressed about that. Overall accommodation was nice if you’re wanting a more affordable place this will do. Only thing is location. We are too young girls and walking through the alleyways at all times of the day were a lot We got several inappropriate comments anytime we were walking out. Which is inevitable but it’s not fun so if men cat calling you and following you for a little bit makes you super uncomfortable I would stay in this area otherwise they won’t actually touch you so you’re fine and the accommodation was fine.

What can we say about this Riad? Anything we can say will end up being reductive. But we will give it a shot. Riad Maison Belbaraka is, definitely, a must stay in Marrakech. From the the delicious breakfast, passing through the cleaness of the entire facility, the decoration with those stunning colourful tiles - and we are portuguese - to the the staff. They were tireless with us, two portuguese girls full of questions and curiosities about everyting, had the chance to meet Hamza and Zacaria (Riad's receptionists) who were kind of a Marrakech's life saviours and guides. We are so grateful too meet them. They were able to clarify all of our doutbs about food, transfers, religion and life in general with no barriers. They were very helpfull and profissionals. So, if you are ponder to go to Marrakech and doubting about where to stay, doubt no more: we advise you to stay at Riad Maison Belbaraka, which is very close to everything and a safe place too, with a neighbourhood full of other Riads and families. We loved to see mothers/grandmothers taking their children/grandchildren to school or school tranport. We felt that life could be hard over there but maybe more simple and honest. We can guarantee you that, Riad Maison Belbaraka, will be a good choice to be your home when in Marrakech.
Cons: Nothing to say.

The riad was a great & comfortable stay, the rooms were clean and towels etc restocked daily. The breakfast was varied and there were plenty of options. Good walking distance from many attractions. The staff Zakaria and Hamza were so helpful and kind - the ladies servicing the rooms were also friendly and approachable but unfortunately I didn’t catch their names. Would definitely stay again/recommend to friends :)
Cons: Unrelated to the accommodation itself - I would definitely recommend arranging a taxi with the riad staff to/from the airport. Our taxi from the airport initially left us in the local square (unable to drive down the streets) and he sent us in the wrong direction from the riad & with no internet it left it difficult to find!

nice breakfast area with the pool and traditioan tiles
Cons: The breakfast was really poor. There were some fruits, cake and lemon juice/Tea. I think they need to invest more at this especially for the price we paid for one night! When i booked the room there were online photos with fried eggs etc. at the breakfast but when we asked for this, the riad assistant told us that there is nothing. a bit hard to find the place inside Medina's narrow alleys in comparison with other riads.

Pretty and comfortable Riad, we enjoyed our stay here. A comfy bed and beautiful architecture are worth your stay or in my case, I would consider coming back if I'm here again. We thoroughly enjoyed it and the person at reception was amazing with us!
Cons: Shower drainage needs fixing, it's a shame that this is not up to the standard, in comparison to everything else. You can hear people during breakfast time, but it wasn't a big issue for us.

The staff were very friendly and very helpful. Nice touch being met when we arrived by taxi and also when we left. The room was exceptionally clean and was adequate for our 3 nights stay.
Cons: The Superior Double Room was not as big as what we expected. The Room description is inaccurate as it sounds like the infinity pool was part of the space provided and there was definitely no screen TV. When I addressed this with a member of staff he just indicated that what we were being provided with was shown in the photographs only so I think the Room Description should be changed to show this. Also the list of items shown within the 'Facilities' are mostly inaccurate as we were not provided with many of the items listed - I think the individual rooms should have a more applicable list of facilities as appropriate to that particular room. Very misleading.

Our first stay in Marrakech, a porter from the road came To help us with our bags. Big room, fantastic water pressure in the shower! Cozy bed, lovely breakfast and a nice pool.
Cons: The roof is closed (with plastic), so it smells a bit of chlorine, but that’s part of the nature of a riad. It’s also a bit of a walk through the twisty Medina to get to. Bear in mind when packing your bags ;)

Greeting from staff was warm. Breakfast on terrace had no view but included eggs each day. Coffee was so good I had several cups. One day of 100% rain was spent on terrace and room, went out the next day. Close to local bus pick up area so took the bus. My last day staff walked me to taxi for train ride to Casablanca.
Cons: Location is close to motor cycle repair shops and edge of Madina. Had to be aware of motor cycle traffic. The path to riad was very narrow and had to step out of the cat and dog poop.

Lovely decor, rooms are very comfortable!
Cons: The taxi driver wasn’t there on arrival, even though we had pre booked through the riad. We had to try and find WiFi to find out where he was- waiting an hour to be picked up. The rooms weren’t ready on arrival even though it was confirmed in booking so again, we had to wait. we had to ask for refreshments from the receptionist whilst waiting… We asked multiple times for a map from said receptionist however he never provided one. He also told us the wrong amount at the end of the stay so the lovely guy who did breakfasts had to sort out his mistake before we were about to leave.

Cons: We didn’t get a twin room as booked. We had no hot water for both nights so could not shower. The location is difficult to find and scary at night. To make matters worse the property phone number on Bookings.com doesn’t work so I was just dumped lost and had no one to call.

The court yard is great and the location is convenient
Cons: For the first couple nights, we didn’t have wifi or hot water- isn’t that insane? We came off the plane and checked in around 7pm, we couldn’t even shower that night, I was told to wait until 2am to shower, which I stayed up for and there still wasn’t hot water. For the rest of the night the staff were rattling on the roof - presumably trying to fix the boiler so we didn’t sleep until about 5am. I also had a lot of work to catch up on so not having WIFI wasn’t ideal. When we checked in we were really shocked at the room. It was tiny and not very welcoming. On booking.com it was advertised as the SUPERIOR DOUBLE ROOM - hence why we booked it but we were given the standard double room. The room is really small and dark. I was then told that the superior is actually the standard… so why advertise it as superior? I really wouldn’t recommend. I never leave reviews but this time it was really bad. We booked for 6 nights and left on the 3rd night. They could’ve at least refunded me for one or two nights to compensate. The location is also really loud in the mornings so keep this in mind.

The front desk guy met us with a cart to bring our luggage, which was good, because it was quite a hike from the drop off point. The rooms were not the ones we had booked, but they could not move us until quite a bit later so we opted to stay put, as we only had one night, and didn't want to wait around. The upper terrace outside our rooms was filled with drying sheets so it did not look like the pictures. Also, the large opening over the pool was covered, so that didn't look nice either. The breakfast was very good by the pool, and fresh squeezed orange juice also. It was much smaller than the pictures showed. Our shower drain didn't drain, and there was a flushing problem with the toilet. Front desk staff was nice, and tried his best to make things right.
Cons: This was our second riad in Marrakech. This riad didn't look like the pictures, and they didn't give us the rooms we booked, and both rooms were charged the same price, even though one was much bigger and held two people, while the other was smaller and was for one person. The upper terrace was more like a laundry facility, not a terrace to relax on. And they were going to charge us 10 euros for one load of laundry, so we didn't do any. Very frustrating since we had to look at their laundry drying on our terrace!! Also, the shower didn't drain, nor the toilet flush properly. My husband tried to fix it, but to no avail. We told them so they could fix the bathroom issues for the next people.

Location was good. Arrived late so had food cooked for us at the Riad. Was lovely accept was very small portion and a tad expensive.
Cons: The rooms were small. There was no hot water at any time, so had a cold Shower. Also no Internet. Staying at the Riad Emberiza for 3 nights now, so much better for simular price.

Good location close to souks
Cons: I wish I didn’t have to write this negative review because I know how much hotels depend on tourism but I got scammed my first night in Marrakech and I suspect that it was coordinated by the front desk person. The riad I’m staying at coordinated an airport pickup since there isn’t any rideshare or regulated taxi system here. The scam happened when the taxi driver dropped me off and told me to wait for the receptionist from the riad by the parking lot. Turns out the guy who the taxi driver had escort me to the riad wasn’t actually the receptionist and took me through a labyrinth of dark and isolated alleyways where 3 guys showed up and aggressively tried to pressure me into giving them $200 for escorting me to the riad. They were not violent but very clearly aggressive and hostile, particularly since I was in a dark alley way by myself with all of my bags, I was in a vulnerable state and didn’t want to start a fight. I didn’t change that much money so it wasn’t a big loss but it was frustrating and scary in the moment. The riad receptionist conveniently showed up right after the guys left and another riad owner was looking on as it was happening, so it seemed like this was a concerted effort (or at least implicitly condoned scam). There’s no way I could have known that the guy was pretending to be with the hotel because the taxi driver told me to go with the guy. I don’t generally write reviews like this because I know how important these reviews are for business, but if you’re going to coordinate the travel for your guests, it should be on you to make sure that they’re safe. Also these rooms look much better in the photos than in real life. It’s pretty unkempt and dusty in the rooms.

everything was amazing. Hassan and Omar are just the perfect people to be around. The place is spectacular just a classic and so beautiful all rooms are comfortable, with air conditioning and good pillows. As you walk to the place can be different but it's super super safe. I have 4 kids 12-12-13-15 my wife and I walk the streets late and early morning with no issues at all. As soon as you open the door is magical. if you are planning to do tourist must as Hassan. He will organize amazingly. We did Atlas mountain full-day private drive food in the mountains then drive to the desert and camel ride all include. Also if you have kids do the ATV ride 4 hours kids love 2 per ATV or quad and guest what if you are 12 years old and you are not scared to let them drive with you? My kids were so happy. I can't write enough about the place and the attention that we receive. Breakfast includes traditional excellent. I can't wait to return again. I will go to the same place

Good location inside the Medina to explore. Signposted from an entrance so not too hard to find. Little shops on the route from the drop off point for refreshment. Wifi was good and the terrace was a nice place to relax or hang hand washing. Peaceful and authentic riad experience. Booked for four days ended up staying a week either side of desert excursion.

Location is good. A good diStance to jemaa el fnaa. The room is okay and clean. Staff clean daily and staff are very friendly. The pressure of water on day 1 was really low but improved on day 2 onwards. Lovely breakfast and gave us packed food upon request when we go to excursions at early times. :)
Cons: The lighting is poor.

Amazing service from Omar at reception. The shuttle to the riad was waiting for us at the airport and Omar met us at parking to guide us to the riad. Only a 10 walk to the Medina. We were two women travelling solo and felt safe the whole time. The Riad is beautiful and breakfast was delicious. The next time I come to Marrakesh I will stay here again.

Hassan was outstanding, his Customer Service skills were excellent, he went above and beyond his duty for my sister and I. The Riad is extremely fortunate to have him as an employee. My sister 's job was to position senior management in 5 star hotels around the world and I was an international flight attendant for 32 years with Qantas Airways Australia so we have knowledge of what good customer service is. All the staff were excellent and made our stay in Marrakech a very special experience.
Cons: The Queen Suite was extremely small for 2 women who wanted a little space between them. I had the impression from the photographs on Booking.Com that the room was larger. Also having breakfast beside the pool you are right outside somebody's bedroom, they open their door and you are right on top of them. I realize the kitchen is downstairs and it is a Riad not a hotel.

Beautiful building, very nice room up at the top, public areas are very elegantly furnished. Very nice welcome and breakfast. Very close to one of the ends of the Souk.
Cons: We really liked it so the following are quibbles: Wifi did not quite make it up to our room but expect other rooms had it. The direct neighborhood is not touristy, therefore quiet but might be a bit scary for a single woman after dark. We never felt unsafe but did encounter a few men in dark places who wanted to talk to us.

An accommodation can only be as good as it’s stuff and Omar and Hassan really proved that. They were accommodating from beginning to end and really made sure I felt comfortable. Little things like tea, cookies and a fresh water bottle for when I was waiting for my room. Late dinner prep when I didn’t get the chance to eat outside or just tips how to negotiate prices. Would 100% recommend again.

The location was a 5 minute walk from the point of taxi drop off. This side of the Medina is not that buzzing. The room was quite big with a large bed. The toilet was very big and with amenities. The central courtyard and pool was beautiful. But thats all for the hotel, nothing else is good.
Cons: The bad experince starts from the very begining. Just entering into the property, we got the very unwelcoming vibe. The reception is a very narrow space, where the woman kept us standing to fill up the forms. It was very dissappointing, they should have let us sit at the common place and greet us in the first place. Instead we have to stand n that narrow space, sweating. The behaviour of the woman in reception was quite rude. The way she told us to shut the main door, was shocking! We felt like we were treated like convicted people. And we discovered another couple guest was treated like this same odd way in the evening. Anyway, moving to the room, someone from the hotel was already occupying our room, doing some, who left when we got in. The kitchen was just beside our room. The staff were super loud. Imagine someone from the kitchen is talking(shouting) loudly with another staff who is working by the pool and you are in a old riad room with no sound insulation. It was so noisy, we could not take a peaceful rest. To our utter wonder, at the morning one of the staff was taking call in loudspeaker! Breakfast was poor, no eggs. Almost everything was readymade, bought from the supermarket. They did not provide any complimentary drinking water in room, not even in breakfast! The pool was not a clean one. The staff named Hassan was a bit professional, but still a long way to go for them. We have stayed in 5 riads in total in our whole Morocco trip and we can say we did not face this horrible experience at all in any other riad. It was so shocking, to pay such amount and get nothing, infact negative service! In short, I would never recommend this riad.

Not only is this riad stunningly beautiful, but the included breakfast and staff are top-notch. Their coffee was the best I had in Morocco during my 9-day stay. This riad is also quiet and peaceful; an oasis from the chaotic movement in the nearby souks. Their airport shuttle from and to RAK was convenient and punctual. If you want a good value for a beautiful riad in a decent location, this is definitely the one for you.
Cons: We had to haggle for the price of the airport shuttle. It really should be a fixed price or included in the price of the stay, rather than an ambiguous price of "what you're willing to pay." Also, this riad is tucked away at the end of a winding series of alleyways, which can make returning home at night a bit nerve-wracking at first (but this is the case for many riads). Finally, it would be nice if they heated the pool a bit (it's ice cold).

Hassan and Omar were very attentive and welcoming. We accepted the email offer of a taxi from the airport and were met at the taxi and shown to the riad. (It could be difficult to find without this, and I would recommend doing this. Cost €20 which we gave to the riad manager.) on arrival we were welcomed with mint tea and biscuits, which was a great start to our trip. Breakfast was traditional Moroccan and kept us going all day! We sat on the roof terrace several times and it was beautiful. Our room on the ground floor was the smallest in the riad and felt traditional and authentic, which we loved. The water in the pool in the courtyard was cool and refreshing. Great wifi, which isn’t apparent with other riads and hotels. We booked a trip to quad biking and dinner, as well as our trip to the Ouzoud Falls, at the riad. We were taken to our taxi by the staff and it felt very safe and easy. We paid at the riad in dirhams. This riad is tucked away in a small lane and was perfect for our four night stay where we could easily explore the souks and the city. We are finishing our holiday with a few nights in a resort hotel, and would recommend this as the city is busy and we walked for miles! ❤️ A huge thank you to Hassan, and to Omar, who made our stay so special. Nothing was too much trouble and Hassan, especially, went out of his way to assist us in having a wonderful stay. There are a lot of roads to choose from but this was perfect for us because of the warm welcome and tradition feel, as well as a quiet location close to everywhere.
Cons: When you’re booking, it might be worth getting a bigger room than Room 3, as it was quite small for two women and all our stuff! Being on the ground floor next to the breakfast tables meant the room wasn’t as private as some folk would like.

Cons: the room was really really small, we couldn’t even move there (2) people. the bathroom was also small and the breakfast was poor. we didn’t stay at the same room we booked and payed for. also is was more expensive than other places, but no value for money.

We were not happy with the room we booked (mentioned below) and asked to be moved into another - and they kindly did it without any extra charges. The whole staff was very kind and the breakfast was very good.
Cons: We booked the "Superior Twin Room", described as having "a executive lounge access, private entrance"... Take this with a pinch of salt: this room is on the ground floor, right in front of the breakfast area and accessible by a transparent glass door covered by two big curtains. Don't expect that much privacy and silence, specially during the morning.

Hassan wants to do everything to make the stay as good as possible for the customers. The rooms and the complete hotel are very clean. The breakfast is prepared freshly by Hassan and is quite good. The Riad is good located, you can walk easily to the souks and Jemaa El Fnaa. The walk to the Riad goes through a little alley, but it's well lit by night.
Cons: The hotel is very noisy. When someone is having breakfast you can hear it in your room. When the door rings the whole hotel can hear it. The beds are kindda hard, not very comfy. Water is not included to the breakfast.

I had an excellent stay at this authentic Moroccan Riad. It's nicely hidden away to provide a nice getaway from the busy life in Marrakech. The decorations are done gorgeously, cleanliness is top notch and the breakfast is charming. Big respect to the entire team for accommodating me with my every move on every level. The welcoming team, Hassan and Omar, are splendid in showing true moroccan hospitality and offering quick information, always with kindness and care. Nothing is too much to ask for at any time of the day/night. Especially Hassan, who is the true heart of this Riad. I never felt as welcomed and taken care of anywhere as I did here. I will remember this trip forever because of his friendship. To conclude, if you are looking for a quality, authentic Moroccan Riad, doubt no longer. This should be your choice.

The property is a classic riad with some elegant features.
Cons: I booked a junior suite with a bed, a sofa, a washer, and a kitchenette. What I got was a double room with a bench that the staff claimed was a sofa. I was told that the room I booked does not exist, and there was a bit of embellishment about the accommodations by the manager, over which the staff had no control. They were reluctant to refund my money or to help me find a more suitable room. The website says they there is private parking, but the staff admitted this did not exist.

We had an amazing stay here - everything was perfect! The location is great, a short walk to the souks and plenty of restaurants. The breakfast was delicious and available until 10:45 which is perfect for those of us who are not early birds ;) The room and hotel facilities were clean and comfortable (amazing bed!). The best part of staying here is the amazing hospitality from Hassan and Omar :) Hassan did everything possible to make our stay comfortable and even got a little birthday gift for my mum which made us feel even more welcome and at home! Thank you and see you next time :)
Cons: If I had to say one bad thing it’s that the rooms are not very soundproof. No noise at all from the street or outside but we were on the ground floor and could hear every word of other guests’ conversations at breakfast. This is only being very picky though, everything was perfect :)

Cons: My room was sold to somebody else. I specified for junior suite on second floor with a chic interior. They offered me a room at the roof so I went to look but cheap red interior was not acceptable. Nobody wanted to take responsibility and says it’s not my fault. My only day in Marrakech was ruined for debating to get money back. I had to call my Moroccan friend in Europe to sort out and discuss with the staff. The breakfast was relatively big and vegetarian, with good coffee. Riads pool was beautiful, as well as the rooftop terrace. They were willing to make us tea when we asked for it. The cosmetics in the bathroom smelled very nice.
Cons: The receptionist was very hard to communicate with, I asked several times if we could book a shuttle to the airport on check out date with no response. He was rude to me and referred to me in the third person and pointed fingers at me when talking to other guests. Requested to pay tourist tax in euros, even tho we paid the stay by card and we only had a local currency on hand. The bathroom had mold in the shower, our windows were to a closed street, where you could hear even the street cat walking up and down.

The location was amazing, just a quick walk from the main things we wanted to see and visit. It was easy to reach and well marked (there were signs that indicated how to reach the road from the main nearby square). The Riad itself was outstanding! It was truly beautiful and very peaceful. Everything was just like it’s shown in the pictures. The room we got was very comfortable (it also had AC) and the bathroom had everything we needed (including a hair dryer). Cons: No WiFi in room 8 (which can be both a positive and a negative). The holder for the shower head wasn't securely attached to the wall so had to hold the shower.

A place with its soul. You can learn Morrocan hospitality with international standards
Cons: It is impossible to get to the place with car. The luggage should be carried in hand for a long distance.

Would not stay here again! We arrived 3.5hours later than the check in time, only to find out our room was not ready yet. Coming from Fez (5hr) drive, we we're exhausted and needed to freshen up, so we had to wait about an hour until the room was ready. Then we find out we don't have access to an iron & ironing board, when it clearly states there would be one in our room. So we go ahead and ask the person at the front desk, only to let us know they charge 5 Euros to iron each piece of clothing!?! Absurd! So we go ahead and wear our clothes exactly how they came out of our suitcase (let me remind you we we're a party of 7) there was no way we we're going to spend 70 euros per day for the next 5 days. On top of that we had spent a good amount of money on the hotel stay as it is. Anyways into day 2 they decided to iron our clothes free of charge after I had called and complained to hotels.com about the whole iron situation. Second, we booked rooms with Air Conditioning , but of course with our luck our room did not have any. So we were told we would be switched to anther room that had an A/C unit. Took them until day 3 to able to move us into another room, let me remind you this was mid June (heat around 98 deg F). Day 4 they start adding A/C units to other rooms, drilling away till 11pm, try getting sleep! This Riad is very hidden and the surroundings seem very very sketchy, I would rather stay in a Riad/Hotel that is easily accessed by a street where a taxi can drive up to.
