Good value for what I paid (approx $60CDN per night) but not what necessarily what lid expect from a 4 star hotel. The room wasn’t dirty but not sure I’d go as far as classifying it as clean either. Older rooms but decently spacious. Wifi was probably my biggest gripe as it was spotty at best. Decent water pressure in the shower which is always great

There were bed bugs. The staff did not seem to take it seriously at all even though I had woken up with bed bugs crawling on my face and body. We decided to leave and go to a different hotel. I was told there would be a refund issued but I never received it. I contacted the hotel and never heard back. Absolute worst experience and service I have ever received.

This is ur typical Best Western hotel that is average in every way. However, the location is great since it is within a five minute walk from Casa Port - meaning u can get to/from the Airport using the train and won't have to engage in the oh-so-annoying ritual of haggling with cab drivers. As with any Best Western I know, the rooms are priced artificially high and then discounted. So look for a wide price range on different sites.

Disappointed upon arrival at the hotel - the reception and lobby was not pleasant. We suspect there was water leakage as we entered our floor as the entire common corridor was covered in white cloth (not exactly welcoming at midnight). No explanation was given either to warn us beforehand. Good sized room (thankfully) otherwise we might have considered moving out of the hotel. Toilet was abit dark and did not provide the usual toiletries hotels do such as toothbrush etc Overall a very old that needs major refurbishment

Check-in was done very fast, which was great. The lady at breakfast wanted me to pay cash for the breakfast as I was told that the restaurant's credit card pay terminal didn't work. She was very reluctant to add the breakfast to the room bill, whereas this is very normal to do at a business hotel.

I arrived to find out there was “an issue with the hotel” and they had moved my reservation to another hotel for one night. The hotel they moved me to was perfectly fine but I wish I would have had some advance notice. Prior to moving to the new hotel I was told by the front desk that I had to find a way to get my luggage back to the best western, given it wasn’t my fault why I wa seeing moved I didn’t believe this should be my responsibility. After fighting with them they agreed to come and get my luggage, as I would be out all day touring. Once I got back from a long day of touring my (first) room was fine. Unbenouced to me (didn’t notice till 3AM the next morning when I got up to shower) that the shower water was brown.. I called the front desk and they sent the bellboy up where he preceded to tell me it was the light in the bathroom making the water look discolored.. I proceeded to tell him I needed to shower now as I need to catch a train to Marrakesh shortly, he then told me to shower in the room across the hall and change in my room! Under no circumstance was I going to shower in another room and then walk across the hall in a towel.. they eventually moved me to another room, but this room had flys. It just wasn’t the best stay for me.. and very stressful.

Very basic hotel with a great location. The staff is professional and very accommodating. They rate for currency exchange is better than other places. Location is great to get to anywhere you want as it is close to the train station and a block from the city tram. Breakfast buffet is not so good but they will make you a great omelet if you ask for it. Again the staff is what makes this place a good place to stay.

Staff has a trouble understanding English. Was very difficult to explain to room service in English causing inordinate delays for food. Very limited menu with most things unavailable. Overall well below par for an American hotel chain. There is no way to exchange money at the hotel so one needs to go out and exchange money. They do not even give complimentary water despite asking when we lacked ability to exchange money on a public holiday. Sub par customer service.

The staff was unfriendly and interrogated myslef and my family that flew in for my destination wedding. The insisted in taking a copy of our passports and several times i had staff chase me down to the elevator to question which rooms i have. A housekeeper man knocked once and opened the door twice on my elderly mother and one time she just got out of the shower and was in a towel. The men did not have any attitudes but the women at the front desk were completely short speaking and rude. The exchange money but they rudely refused on of my guests ans we couldn’t figure out why!

I had a bad experience at the hotel could not be with my boyfriend because according to Muslim law we can not be together in the same room if we are not married Then they sent us to the police for what they gave us permission to be in the same room. We returned to the hotel and they told us that the only way that it could be inside the hotel and I rent another room. We could do absolutely nothing and then I had to stay single and at night there were cockroach in the room for which I got very angry and leave before the time to deliver the room

Fatimanarza, was a excellent and gave us tip on how to get around to see things. The location is nice close to Hassan mosque. And across from a bzaaar. So hotel location is perfect! We ate dinner on the restaurant premises, food was good & ambience nice. But some of the staff were not able to understand English to well so there was little issue with understanding them but not a problem.. All was good! . But the manager I believe was super nice! 😊

The AC can't be adjusted. It was in 60F, but doesn't feel like it. Toilet is in a separate room from the bathroom which is a pain coz you have to go to another room to wash. Breakfast is basic, subpar to most best western hotels we've experienced. Not much selections. Airport is 30 - 45 minutes away, taxi can be arranged in the hotel for 300 dirham. We paid 200 dirham after arranging it with a driver who drove us to Fez. Use all your dirhams because Duty free won't accept dirhams in the airport.

I picked this hotel because if it's convenience to the Casa Port train station. The room was OK, but I was expecting to be nicer based on it's ratings. There was supposed to be a mini-bar in my room but it was empty. Also the room did not have controls for the air-conditioning, and there was no fan. Lastly, the security guard and reception did not allow my friend to see my room, and told us we had to visit in the lobby. I thought that was quite strange.

Firstly, you can get to this hotel from the airport without the need for a taxi. Please study Google Maps carefully. Basically you take the train from the airport to the terminus at Casa Port. Leave the station by the huge main entrance and go right to the traffic lights (to cross the road). Continue in the direction you crossed the road, straight on for a short distance. You should take the first road on the left. The road curves round to the right and if you look down the road, after its corner, you should see a not too big sign for the hotel. It's a little tricky on a dark rainy night (but if you have done your homework, you'll succeed). I was just passing through on route from Edinburgh to Rio de Janeiro, so for a one night stay, I was happy. My room was 4**** quality, with an unlocked connecting door to the adjoining room. Everything worked, as it should, I had a pleasant unpretentious dinner, and an adequate breakfast. I took the train to the airport the next morning but BE WARNED - to get out of the station into the airport through a single security gate took 90 minutes. Once in the airport, there was slightly organised chaos as the few staff on duty tried to deal with huge queues of very worried passengers all jostling to make sure they would get their flight.

The room is as described, but the staff there are really bad. Forced tips without even asking. When I check out and told the doorman I need a taxi to the airport, he tried to fool me by asking me to pay 1000 Dh to get to the airport. When I told him my way from the airport to the hotel costs me only 250 Dh, he agreed and said this is the price he was telling me without a red face. Both my girlfriend and myself heard clearly that he said "1 thousand". This is just one of my many unpleasant experiences in Morocco. It's hard to believe this is happening in such a religious country. MY ADVICE: avoid the doorman and grad the white taxi cross street by yourself. Pay no more than 300 Dh anywhere in the city to the airport.

Everything is walking distance from here, but the hotel is definately not a four star. If you are not too fussed about decor and condition of hotel or not planning to stay for long then this is a decent hotel to pick. However if you are the kind of person that looks forward to the hotel experience as much as the touring then you maybe a little dissapointed. They don't have any extra facilites such as gym, hammam etc. However they do have links with a hotel nearby and you can pay to use their facilities instead. However atm that hotel is undergoing building work so it's not an option. They charge 100dhm per person. For breakfast, however there are loads of cafes nearby that charge between 25-50dhms per person for a lovely breakfast tray that includes fresh orange juice, a hot drink, pasties, eggs and some spreads. Overall, a decent hotel with a really comfy bed in a great area and not much else.
