Without a doubt, the best hotel in the Friuli region. An impeccably maintained property, with flawless rooms offering breathtaking sea views. The breakfast is excellent and perfectly complements the overall experience. While the rates may be higher during certain periods of the year, the quality and atmosphere fully justify the price. A place we would gladly return to.

The staff on reception went above and beyond, to make our stay memorable. Complimentary upgrade, as we were celebrating a special occasion. The views from the balcony were spectacular! Very large and comfortable room, with a sparkling marble bathroom. Cocktail bar was plush with delicious free snacks brought out with our drinks. Gym was conveniently located on the top floor.

I loved the location. Our room had two private balconies overlooking the waterfront. The sunsets were tremendous. The breakfast was outstanding. The concierge was extremely kind and helpful. All his suggestions were worthwhile.
Cons: There were some very minor issues with the plumbing. Shower pressure and running toilet, but both were immediately fixed.

The hotel was beautifully furnished and very comfortable. The room we were in 121 was superb with beautiful sea views. The beds were so comfortable.
Cons: The Trieste Film Festival was taking place at the hotel at the same time, which meant that parts of the lobby were extremely busy, and we were asked to move from the otherwise very comfortable library while waiting for a cocktail.

Das Hotel hat eine sehr gute Ausstattung, alles wirkt hochwertig und gepflegt. Das Personal ist extrem freundlich, aufmerksam und unkompliziert. Man fĂźhlt sich sofort willkommen. Die Zimmer sind groĂ, ruhig und gut ausgestattet. Genau so, wie man es sich wĂźnscht, wenn man nach einem langen Tag zurĂźckkommt. Die Lage ist ein echtes Highlight. Direkt vor dem Hotel Ăźber die StraĂe und man steht praktisch schon am Hafen. Rundherum gibt es viele EinkaufsmĂśglichkeiten, Restaurants, Bars und CafĂŠs. Essen ist also kein Thema. Und fĂźr ein Gute-Nacht-Getränk findet sich immer etwas in Gehweite. Auch das Zentrum von Triest ist bequem zu FuĂ erreichbar. Besonders am Abend macht es richtig SpaĂ, rund um das Hotel durch die Stadt zu schlendern, die Atmosphäre zu genieĂen und einfach treiben zu lassen. Unterm Strich: sehr gute Lage, tolles Hotel, freundliche Menschen. Ich wĂźrde jederzeit wieder dort buchen.
Cons: Was mir weniger gefallen hat, betrifft das Thema Parken. Wie bei vielen Hotels wird hier offenbar zunehmend Ăźber ParkgebĂźhren Geld gemacht. 30 ⏠pro Nacht fĂźrs Parken sind aus meiner Sicht sehr hoch. Einer der teuersten Preise, die ich bisher erlebt habe. Kostenfreie Parkplätze in Triest zu finden, ist generell schwierig. Man braucht Geduld und oft auch etwas GlĂźck. Eine Alternative ist, etwas auĂerhalb zu parken und dann mit Ăśffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln in die Stadt zu fahren. Das funktioniert grundsätzlich gut. Kleiner Geheimtipp: Hinter dem Hotel gibt es eine StraĂe mit Bereichen, die nicht kostenpflichtig sind. Kein Garant, aber einen Versuch wert.

Struttura impeccabile sia fuori il palazzo che dentro, avuto lâaccesso alla camera abbiamo notato un difetto nel bagno ma comunicandolo lo staff ĂŠ stato davvero molto disponibile e ha immediatamente provveduto quindi molto apprezzato. Per il resto davvero un soggiorno stupendo.

Service was somewhat patchy (e.g. nothing happened when we reported a broken toilet in our room), sometimes friendly and at other times less so, and the restaurant staff were a bit confused about gluten-free. These are minor issues but I mention them as they shouldnât really happen in a 5-star hotel.

Cons: Eines vorweg: Das Hotel ist echt schÜn, die Lage top. Ich bewerte das Hotel nur aufgrund eines Kriteriums schlecht und, wie mit meiner Rßckmeldung darauf von der Dame an der RÊception umgangen worden ist. Meine Kritik betrifft also nicht das gesamte Personal, sondern nur dieses eine Kriterium und diese Dame. Und darum geht es mir: Der Teppich in unserem Zimmer war eine absolute Katastrophe. Vom Eingang bis zur Balkontßre, schlicht jede begehbare Teppichfläche, war irgendwo und irgendwie beschmutzt. Es war richtig eklig. Barfuss herumzugehen kam nicht in Frage. Das geht meiner Meinung nach bei so einem Hotel einfach nicht. Ebenso enttäuschend war die Reaktion beim Check-out. Erst als alles abgewickelt war, frage mich die RÊceptionistin ohne vom Computer aufzusehen, wie es gewesen sei. Als ich meine Rßckmeldung zum Teppich gab, kam keine Reaktion. Auf meine Nachfrage erklärte mir die Dame recht säuerlich, dass das Hotel Bescheid wisse. Als ich nochmals nachfragte, wieso die Gäste dann in so ein Zimmer geschickt wßrden, antwortete sie mir, es sei schon sauber ... Da merkte ich, dass es keinen Zweck hatte, dieser Dame etwas erklären zu wollen. Von einem Hotel dieser Klasse erwarte ich einfach mehr. Deshalb habe ich mich entschieden, das hier so zu bemängeln und meiner Enttäuschung ßber den Zimmerteppich und die Reaktion der Angestellten Ausdruck zu verleihen. Falls die Hotelleitung an meinem Originalfilm ßber den Teppich interessiert sein sollte, freue ich mich ßber eine Kontaktaufnahme.

I was robbed of my jewelry directly from the room, I searched the room for three days and after complaining Several times over two day period the jewelry was returned to me and place someplace I had checked three times. Upon my departure, it was revealed again to me that not only was I robbed the first time, but the jewelry then disappeared from the safe that I put it in after it was returned the first time. This is my fourth time at the Savoia. Needless to say I would not stay again. I picked this Hotel because of its rating and I assumed that it would be a safe environment whether was for my safety or my belongings.

Polite and professional staff, the room was immaculately clean, and the bed was one of the most comfortable ones I've ever had. The breakfast was fantastic.

Great hotel in excellent location. Excellent breakfast with extensive choice and good quality food.
Cons: The bedroom carpets needs cleaning. I have stayed in this hotel on two occasions over the past year in different rooms. The stained carpets are a disgrace. Everything else is very clean and in very good condition. Note to Hotel Savoia Excelsior Palace - please clean or replace your bedroom carpets.

Das Hotel hat eine wunderbare Atmosphäre und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefßhlt. Erfreulich war auch das Upgrading!
Cons: Das Verkehrsaufkommen am Rive war enorm. Die Fenster konnten den Lärm gut abhalten, ein längeres Verweilen am Balkon war aber leider nicht mÜglich.

Die Lage und Historie des Hotels machen zweifellos einiges her. Zwar merkt man hie und da, dass das Gebäude bereits ßber 100 Jahre alt ist aber alles in allem wurde es scheinbar gut instandgehalten/saniert. Das Zimmer war jederzeit sehr sauber, das Reinigungspersonal hat durchweg gewissenhafte Arbeit geleistet.
Cons: Das Personal an Rezeption/Eingang und beim Frßhstßck hinterlieà leider Eindrßcken von unaufmerksam bis hin zu unfreundlich. Das Frßhstßck selbst war leider auch eher durchwachsen. Es gab zwar Highlights wie das Kuchenbuffet und leckere frische Säfte aber alles andere hatte eher 3*-Niveau

Breakfast always good. Dinners are excellent for choice and preparation. Staff always so helpful. Used fitness room for first time this visit. Good set-up. Probably the 4th time I've stayed at the Savoia. Always a pleasant experience. Pity about the cruise ships so close that spoil an otherwise great view, but not the fault of the hotel.

Locatia foarte buna, in centrul orasului pe malul marii. Hotelul are o arhitectura foarete frumoasa. Camerele curate, bine dotate, paturi confortabile. Mic dejun variat, restaurant frumos. Parcarea cu valet. Ne-au dus masina si au adus-o la plecare in siguranta. Cu siguranta vom reveni la acelasi hotel cand mergem la Trieste.
