The staff , the decor and the service were excellent the property was absolutely beautiful and clean. They gave water in the room everyday with snacks. The guards were always present. The rooftop breakfast was lovely. Ali, server, was most kind.
Cons: The noise level in the morning. We were on the ground floor and they had some pet birds indoors. Also the gym itself is small.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at Elegancia Riad Boutique & SPA, and overall it was a memorable experience with a few things worth noting for future guests. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel genuinely welcome — warm, attentive, and gracious throughout our stay. The Riad itself is stunning: a beautifully preserved historic property with all the charm you’d hope for, topped off by a lovely rooftop pool that made for a perfect retreat.
Cons: That said, there were a couple of areas that could use some attention. Ventilation in the rooms was limited, which led to a slightly stagnant odor that became noticeable over time. We also found the luggage storage space in the rooms to be quite cramped — something to keep in mind if you’re traveling with larger bags. A few practical notes for those planning a visit: while the Riad is located within the Medina, reaching it requires navigating several long alleyways, and it’s a bit of a walk from the heart of the Medina — factor that in when arriving with luggage. Additionally, the property features a steep spiral staircase, which may present challenges for older guests or those with mobility limitations

We LOVED our stay at Elegancia RIAD in Marrakesh. The location was terrific. The courtyard breakfast are and roof deck pool are Instagram worthy. The staff was amazing. I left a favorite article of clothing in the room and they held onto it for several days after we returned from a trip to the Sahara. The breakfast was amazing as well. Their sister property, Maison Arabe, only a few blocks away, served the best dinner we had in Marrakesh accompanied by traditional music.
Cons: Like other RIADs in the Medina, Elegancia it is a bit hard to find down narrow corridors, but once inside the doors, nothing but first class accommodations. But the hotel staff, even over Ramadan, were incredibly accommodating, escorting me to find an ATM upon arrival and arranging transportation and assisting us with luggage down the narrow streets.

Our stay at Riad Elegancia was wonderful. The staff -- Mohamed, Yousef and others -- were warm, welcoming and helped us navigate some tricky travel snafus we hit with other agencies not affiliated with the hotel. We came to view Elegancia as a "second home" during our time in Marrakech. The location is perfect -- walking distance to pretty much everything we wanted to experience, while being a bit apart and providing a quiet and clean oasis. Highly recommended!

Taxibussen gikk hver time. Jeg har bodd på andre Riader som er mer moderne og fancy, men totalpakken Elegancia kunne stille opp, gjør at vi kommer til å velge dem neste gang vi skal til Marrakech.
Cons: Vi likte alt. Har ingen ting å sette fingeren på.

Beautiful riad with outstanding decor. Breakfast at the rooftop was amazing. We had a dinner at a sister hotel’s restaurant, one of the best we had so far!
Cons: It was quite disappointing to find out that it’s not possible to book Hammam on the same day since I was really looking forward to it as a highlight of my last day in Marrakech. I wish it would have been mentioned on the website or at least in the message from the property that booking is required at least a day in advance.

Riad Elegancia was a genuinely perfect place to stay. The two stand outs for us were the property itself (it is beautiful and so zen) and the service (nothing was too much, the cleaning was spot on and everything was dealt with promptly and efficiently). As it was Ramadan no alcohol was served, but you could visit their sister hotel nearby, which was super close and also had a beautiful roof terrace, if you fancied a tipple. Will absolutely be back

I really loved the gorgeous design in the reception area, so colourful and unique. The team is absolutely amazing and would go above and beyond to help in any way. We loved spending time on the roof top area where a lovely bar and a nice pool are. Our room was clean and so beautifully designed, with an extremely comfy mattress too.
Cons: We would have preferred being able to choose what to order for breakfast instead of receiving a standard set of dishes. Also, the windows in the room face a common area so you can't really leave them open. To get to the Riad entrance you need to walk a couple of minutes in a tiny and dark street.

The service provided by the staff, they were very attentive to all needs (locations, taxis, general queries/ assistance). The decor was a beautiful introduction to the architecture of Morocco, I would most definitely recommend staying in a Riad to fully appreciate the culture and beauty of the country. I would like to give a special thanks to the doorman, who would receive and escort us to and from the property after dark, we felt very safe during our time here.
Cons: All was excellent, though a couple of suggestions would be to provide the guests with toiletries as a 5 star establishment (e.g. toothbrushes, toothpaste, etc) and to install additional lighting on the terrace. The terrace was dimly lit for ambience however due to the lights being spaced out, it was too dark to have dinner upstairs.

The riad is beautiful, stylish and the rooms are elegantly decorated. The bed was incredibly comfy. Having the swimming pool on the terrace meant that we could sunbathe and cool down all in one place (unlike a lot of riads where the pool is downstairs and in shade). There were lots of special extra touches such as complimentary biscuits and wine left for us in the room and Morrocan tea and sweet treats on arrival. The riad is conveniently located a 25 minute walk to the Jardin Majorelle and a 15 minute walk to Le Jardin Secret/ Ben Youssef Madras, with a number of restaurants nearby, set away from the hussle and bustle of busier areas closer to Jemma El Fenn. Taxi rank close by to the riad should you need it to travel. Would highly recommend, we had a wonderful stay. Great for those wanting a bit of luxury and to relax.
Cons: The side street to access the riad is very quiet and is a minute or so walk from the main street, solo female travels might feel less comfortable walking there alone in the evening, although hotel staff very attentive at letting guests in via the doorbell and is well lit. The vegan breakfast options were limited (jam, bread, fruit, refreshments) and overpriced at 13euros, though tasty. The bar/restaurant on the terrace did not appear to be open during our stay outside of breakfast hours.

The staff were amazing, helpful and, accommodating. Both current hotel managers, Amina and Mohammed were exceptional, professional, and kind. Moreover, compared to other riads visited this was the most beautiful in terms of color and design.
Cons: The riad is in a central location which is perfect for getting around but the alleyway leading to the hotel can be improved. I also had a little trouble breathing due to the air condition in the room. For anyone wishing to do some work in the central hall maybe a little more or different lighting would help create a better work environment if needed.

Riad Elegancia is dreamy, perfect and very picturesque. It is a 2 minute-walk from car drop off. Staff make you feel very welcome. We stayed in a hotel and a luxury desert resort as well during our time in Marrakech and both of them paled in comparison to Riad Elegancia. The service is personalized and top notch. Well maintained facility. Food is great. Internet is very fast. Excellent air conditioning in the rooms and common areas except the roof top (the pool and tub). The Hamman and Spa service is excellent. One personnel, MOHAMMED, particularly stood out for us. He helped plan a surprise birthday dinner for my wife and went above and beyond to ensure my wife was happy. We have already recommended to Riad Elegancia to our friends planning to visit Marrakech soon.

The £12 added breakfast was incredible. Soo much food all freshly made. Said the breakfast chef and waiter was soo nice and very happy to make changes for us. The hotel has a sister hotel 3minutes walk away you're free to use also. There is also a separate huge swimming pool that they run shuttle busses to 20mins away that is brilliant for pool days. They have food and drink there and it's got sun all day unlike most of the roads ground floor pools in Morocco. The rooms are nicer than the hotel pictures show, the aircon was also great, very needed in the summer. We chose to organise the cab with the hotel for pick up and drop off to the airport for £20 each way. We probably could have got it cheaper but I didn't want the stress and the hotel have a member of staff waiting at the road to guide you in and take your luggage so its definitely worth it. Special shout out to Amena and Said staff members were exceptional and went above and beyond for us.
Cons: The only thing that was very annoying. On our last day we weren't leaving until 4pm so we had breakfast on the roof and had a relaxing day at the roof pool. But one of the hotel desk staff(a man we'd only seen once before) insisted we had to get out of the pool to come and pay the bill! I thought this was ridiculous since we were on the roof 4 floors away and wet! I said we'd pay when we come down before we leave as we will have more drinks and lunch. He was quite rude about it and said no we have to pay now. However the other desk clerk Amena was always very nice, helpful and polite.

Really nothing. We were there for three days and just put up with it. I had been in Morocco around 40 years ago and really expected a modernization but no , it's still a third world country.
Cons: The taxi dropped us at a Pharmacy and a young porter took the bags. He walked into an alleyway that did not look in any way inviting. There were some houses knocked down and electricity wires hanging down nearly touching the ground. He then turned up another alleyway with no paving and just stones and sand. He turned again and at the end of that alleyway there was some artificial grass which led to the door of the hotel. No name or sign that it was a hotel. The staff were very helpful. The hotel said that they had two restaurants. After 3 days we had not found one of these and the food we had was served to our room. We did stick to basic food as in an omelette and a fry for breakfast. The omelette was meagre and the fry had two fried eggs and a mixture that consisted of Bacon , Tomato, Mushroom and Onion. We'll that's what they said it was. It looked strange but edible. The cost of these two dishes was €30. The hotel had a lot of dishes on their menu which we only saw the night before we left and really we felt that the mixtures involved might not go down well on a western stomach. We settled for Eggs and Chips as our parting dinner. Having to get up at 3.00 am did not help our last day. We had ventured out to the market and walked through the dirty streets with every type of 'hole in the wall' shop selling some food , some phones and some motor cycle parts. To venture into the market took a little courage but one street was enough. We got a taxi to Carrefour and then the best meal - another taxi to KFC. We had a tete a tete with another taxi driver over charging us 50 dreams to go 500 yards. Granted we had a card from tge hotel but no taxi drivers seemed to know where it was. All in all , a trip not to be repeated.

This boutique Riad is absolutely perfect for a city stay, really lovely decorated with bright vibrant colours. Absolutely stunning! The breakfast is amazing and definitely worth it as you get a lot of food. The rooftop is serene and not many guests at all. The waterfall shower was so great and really comfortable robes and slippers. We visited the sister hotel for dinner but much preferred the vibe of this one for sure!
Cons: A minor thing, the windows in our bedroom directly faced the entrance of the riad so you could hear people chap on the door to be let in and conversations in the hallway so if you’re not a fan of noise then something to note.

First of all, the staff at the hotel are THE BEST ❤️. They took care of us very well, they are all super kind and professional. The hotel itself is like dream - even if we never left the building for the entire week we would have had an amazing holiday. The pictures don't do justice to how beautiful this place is. All the craft and details are lovely, we spent some time just admiring the decor. We felt ourselves dropped into a fairy tale straight out of the One Thousand and One Nights every time we crossed the threshold. Our room was perfect, the bed very comfortable, great shower, very clean. Breakfasts were abundant and delicious. We also ordered once from the restaurant and it was tasty. We especially loved the cookies that came with the mint tea (that we ordered at all times of the day). The pool on the roof is heated, so we could enjoy it and swim even in January! We tried the hammam and it was also fantastic. It was our first time in Marrakech and we were told by friends that 2-3 days are enough for the city. In contrast, we stayed for a whole week and it felt short! The city offers many interesting sights to visit (all within walking distance). Just wandering around the Medina and watching craftsmen do their thing is an experience in itself. The city is also well located for day trips; we rented a car (parking available near the hotel), and we visited Essaouria, Ourika and Agafey. It is also easily possible to visit these places with tours that depart from the city. Word of advice: if it is your first time in Morocco, make sure to bring an empty suitcase with you!
Cons: Leaving Morocco and especially the hotel! This is the first time ever that we were sad to arrive home after a holiday. We wish we could have stayed longer...

Visited Marrakesh for the first time and stayed at the Riad. Everything was beyond perfect, the staff specially Hajah, Achhaf and Majda at the reception were super helpful and did everything from booking taxis to recommending restaurants. At night Rahim walked us to the main road or back to the riad which made us feel very safe.

Everyone there was lovely. All the staff gave us a lot of information about the city, advice for restaurants, booking etc. It was my birthday and the staff of the hotel did a nice surprise offering me a slice of cake and singing happy birthday. I couldn't ask for a better treatment. The room was lovely, very clean and cosy. The place is an oasis of peace and relax. An amazing place with amazing people! Really recommended.

Very beautiful Riad, that was very well maintained. The staff were very attentive and so kind and thoughtful. Special thanks to Majda the lady at the reception who helped with suggestions of great places to eat and also offered to change our room when had some problems in the room we were allocated, other lady who helped check our reservations, the breakfast server who so kindly sourced for us the Bissara soup on morning for breakfast. The breakfast was the best we had in Morocco and in also than in many places in Europe. The decor is very beautiful and the amenities par with a five star hotel. Also we enjoyed the Pool every evening of the hot summer, with a glass of wine from the complimentary bottle that came in the room. Special attention to security as the Riad is in an alley where no taxis and vehicles can go in,so they have their security guard do the rounds in an out of the alley and he can pick you and escort you to the riad if you come in late at night. Absolutely fantastic experience!! Will definitely choose Elegancia next time we are in Marrakech.

Fantastic place. It was my third time here and I was treated like a king! I celebrated my birthday the weekend I was here, and the staff were so lovely and even made cake for me :) They also upgraded my room, which they had also done for my mom and me last time we stayed here. Breakfast was EXCELLENT and the rooftop pool was absolutely magical! Massages were also very good! Don't forget to tip! Book things like taxis and tours yourself- concierge will arrange but it'll cost double.
Cons: I found it frustrating that having looked up appropriate tips for all things (massage? Dinner etx) i had both a service charge of 10% and tax addded fo final bill. It took me by surprise and should be more transparent up front.

The property was beautiful- a tranquil oasis which made us feel calm from the moment that we stepped inside. The rooftop is large with lots of shade. It is very well kept and attended to and is designed such that the guests can feel privacy wherever they are sat. Fantastic customer service from all the hotel staff, beautiful and comfortable stay. Breakfasts were fantastic. We only stayed one night but the staff were so kind to givw us another breakfast and let us check in early since we arrived very early in the day. Bed was very comfortable to sleep in, and room was perfectly air conditioned. Not sure why others said it felt stuffy, because we did not feel that way at all and the weather was very hot (32-36 degrees) when we stayed. Absolutely loved all the spaces in the riad along with the rooftop terrace. Beautifully decorated! We cant express enough how kind Majda was with consistently corresponding with us prior to our stay and making sure all of our questions were answered. Overall one of the highlights of our Marrakech stay!
Cons: We absolutely loved our stay, so the only reason we didnt rate it a full 10 was because the tour guide we requested that Riad Elegancia booked for us was not very good. The guide did not respond to our questions properly and after multiple attempts to ask him to guide us back to the hotel after walking around in scorching heat, he seemed to take us to shops and vendors that we were not interested in for an extra 1.5 hours. So for that reason, we could not give the review a perfect 10. The only suggestion would be to properly vet the tour guides thoroughly and only suggest ones who will listen to the requests of the hotel guests, as that would greatly improve the whole experience.

It's an amazing oasis just off the roads of chaos. Down a side turning you find the most beautiful building. A private entrance with very attentive staff. The rooms are amazing we had a superior suite. The bathrooms are lovely the beds very comfortable. The roof terrace with a pool jacuzzi and sunbeds is suberb. And the breakfast was above and beyond we stayed in a 5 star hotel the previous 2 days and this was better. It's just a 10 mins walk to the square and medina, but the traffic even in the souk when walking is terrifyingly with scooters and bikes zipping round pedestrians .. It's all good for it to be quiet and near enough to walk to the hussle and bustle.

I agree with all recommendations above. The hotel is very nice. They have best personal, very helpful, kind, friendly. Hotel is beautiful. Beds are very, very comfortable. Breakfast is excellent!!! Swimming pool are is beautiful.
Cons: The hotel is located in old city, which is dirty. We arrived late and streets look very narrow. There were people sleeping on a street. Our hotel room felt very tiny without window. We got a very bad first impression. My husband contacted booking directly and ask if we could cancel our booking. Hotel staff put very strong freshener which we both got fragrance allergy. But next day we met wonderful personal and excellent breakfast so we changed our mind. But I suggest to stay for 2 days not four as we did. Hotel is nice, but we became very tired of area around hotel. I got a problem with water in swimming pool. My light hair became discolored greenish. We informed personal.

Elegancia Riad exceeded our expectations - all staff was extremely warm and welcoming, always up for a chat, and very helpful in case we had any issues (including reception, housekeeping, and breakfast staff). We really enjoyed the privacy and personal encounters with the staff - definitely a different feeling compared to the big chain hotels. It always felt like coming home after a long day of exploring Marrakech. Breakfast was delicious and set us up nicely for the day. We also really enjoyed having our breakfast every day on the sunny rooftop. Room: Our room was full of gorgeous little Moroccan details - we especially loved the light that the Moroccan lamp over our bed cast on the ceiling. Oh, and the bed was so comfortable it was really hard to get up in the mornings! We received one complimentary bottle of red wine and Moroccan sweets upon arrival and had a new big bottle of still water placed in our room each day. Everything was extremely clean! The WiFi was excellent! The only little detail we had to get used to in the beginning were the see-through colourful windows that went out into the courtyard (but there are big curtains you can close and you usually don't see a lot of people walking around anyways, so no worries). Location: We walked everywhere and never had to take a taxi. Everything is within a 20-minute walk from the riad. Definitely download maps.me to navigate through the souks, which is especially helpful at night! Gym & Spa: There is a small gym with good equipment downstairs which is open 24/7. We also enjoyed a lovely spa session on our last day and went up to the comfy beds on the roofs to relax afterward. We also had a refreshing dip into the beautiful rooftop pool.
Cons: I'm complaining on a very high level here. There was nothing that bothered us, only two tiny issues: 1. Since I have very long hair, I am very fussy when it comes to hotel hair dryers - the one we had in our bathroom wasn't very powerful and the way you had to push the button down in order to make it work for a long period of time each day, caused pain in the area between my thumb and index finger. 2. When taking showers, the water would overflow very quickly. I guess that's rather a Marrakech-drainage issue than a hotel one. ;)

Very pleasant stay at the Riad. We truly felt home the moment we arrived. Staff are the most professional we ever encountered in our trip. Smiling, kind and responsive all the time. We can’t tell how welcoming they were. The Riad is nicely designed, well taken care of different spaces. despite rooms being small, everything is placed in good functional way. the materials used in the rooms are all of high quality. from mattress to towels to even shower gel. Breakfast was delicious and fresh.
Cons: There is almost no fresh air in the rooms and the different areas of the riad on the first floor. for someone who doesn’t like air conditioning, it was quite a challenge to enjoy the sleep. but still I would choose the riad for everything else I mentioned above!

Gorgeous riad that I selected based on the high marks for internet speed. I had video calls to make so that couldn't be compromised. But the place was just fantastic - staff was gracious and accommodating, the wait staff at the rooftop restaurant made it seem that nothing was too much to ask for and actually went above and beyond with their service. Abderrahim at the front desk was very funny and again nothing too difficult to make happen. The room was nicely appointed and had FRESH flowers! A big bottle of water was provided every day and they also had lovely little treats every day. USB ports were available up for phones, gadgets, etc. The food was excellent and I ate most of my meals there because it was so easy. I also took advantage of the hammam on site. It was easy to walk to the main square from the road, but it was tucked away down an alleyway that kept noise to a minimum. I really enjoyed my stay here.
Cons: As I was working, a desk would have been nice, but I made do. I could have also worked up on the terrace since they had WIFI and outlets available at the tables.
