Cons: Camera found near to toilet air hole (window) Felt bit uncomfortable in the hotel as we found a camera placed in the entrance but, we noticed it was facing towards the toilet side, we informed the staff immediately and asked him to change our room, but the reply was unsatisfactory as he replied to us that he won't give any other room, the only thing he can do is putting something to cover the camera and brought two towels and covered the opening of the window, we felt bit unsafe over the entire night.actually we booked the room in the upstairs, but he gave the room in the downstairs saying that cleaning was ongoing in the room in upstairs

The staff were so incredibly friendly and met me at the end of the road as it is not the easiest place to find, they also made sure to walk me to my taxi (which they had organised) when I was leaving. The breakfast in the morning was beautiful and slightly different both days which I enjoyed! A nice combination of jams and spreads along with traditional Moroccan bread, served with tea/coffee, orange juice and water. The option to eat outside is also lovely (although Moroccan mornings and evenings in Feb can be a little chilly) The room was spacious and clean and the staff were very attentive to make sure everything was organised. This Riad is great value for money and a 15 min walk to the Jemaa el-Fnaa medina, which is almost a straight road the whole way, so very easy to find!
Cons: This was not a problem for me, but as this is a riad, the noise "can" be a little loud at night, as you are sharing a property with others, almost in the style of sharing bedrooms in a house, so be aware of this.

Lamia has taken care of me very well. She must be an angel. She welcomed me with a great coffee and cake, showed the best hospitality I have ever had. All the credit is hers. The location was easy to find, the terrace is very nice with its view. But the best part is to fall asleep and wake up with the birds chirping around and it feels like a part from Amin Maalouf's novels.
Cons: It looks very different than the pictures. In the pictures the room looks very large and bright, but it is not in reality. The bath towels were very old that they had lots of holes on them. They should not be used at all. The courtyard was not clean enough so I even didn't use the pool. Pool has been changed so it is different than the pictures. The sofas in the courtyard are super old that their cover are completely faded away. It should not cost that much to invest in a hotel that charges quite an amount and offer minimum.

The staff: everyone who worked there was super friendly and welcoming and special mention to the ladies who prepared the breakfast every morning. The location was superb, 25 min walking to the main square. I loved that it was walking-distance to many points and still secluded enough for a breath of air after walking by the busy centre. The room I stayed was on the terrace and the view was lovely.
Cons: I wish the room had blackout curtains as the sunlight made it a bit difficult to sleep with. Also, I wish they had some more protein in the breakfast besides spread cheese, maybe eggs, for example. Still, breakfast was delicious and fresh.

Cons: The lobby was very humid and the room was dank with a smell of sewage coming from the bathroom and there was a slow leak coming from the toilet that spilled onto to floor. The receptionist didn't speak English and put us into a room that we did not book. We waited an hour to talk woth someone that only tried to convince us the pictures on Booking.com were the same as the room they put us in. What a laugh. We originally booked a suit on the first floor with two doors and a window, a single bed and nice open bathroom. What we got is a room on the second floor with 3 beds, one door, no window and a small bathroom with mold all over it. We requested to cancel the reservation and they specifically told us they would refund the reservation, however, we have not seen a refund nor have we received any correspondence from the them. Don't stay here, it's a scam

Cons: The room was not like the photos, it had no lock and the toilet door was see through. Wifi was also not working. Very disappointing stay.

I liked the staff of the property that were so kind and caring.
Cons: I didn’t like the fact that our suite was not comfortable due to the following reasons: - Lights were not working (only one light worked and the one in the bathroom) however main lights and those by the bed were not working; - There was only one charging plug that was working at the room all the other ones were not so we had to charge phones and do whatever we had to do in turn; - The hair dryer also did not work! - The bathtub and the sink were flooding with water and we had to wait until the first water goes to open it again; The dressing room had no light…

everything was very well organized, the room was clean, they paid attention to the bed because we were going on an engagement trip, I don't have any negative reviews because all the employees were very attentive... In particular, the employee called Mouad was always very helpful, attentive, gave me some information about the city, anything I needed he was always willing to help, it was definitely an asset in helping us have a better stay. I also want to say that the breakfast person was always very attentive and very helpful. It will definitely be a hotel to return to and stay at because my fiancée and I were very satisfied! Congratulations on your service and dedication to your guests.

Had a wonderful stay here! The rooms are impressive - beautifully decorated and very clean - location is central, staff cannot do enough for you and the breakfast is the best I’ve had in Morocco! They are even flexible with when you have breakfast between 7am - 12pm. Thank you to everyone at Riad Albaraka!
Cons: The only thing I would say is to bring earplugs if you’re a light sleeper like me as it is noisy outside (motorbikes etc) or opt for a quieter room.

Location was great. Fairly close to the central attractions but also close to the exit of the inner city. The rooftop was also nice for sunbathing.
Cons: No windows in the room. The inside “pool” was also kinda grimy and didn’t look like the pictures. The. There was the matter of a 5 Euro “tax” on a prepaid room 😕. Staff was nice but communication was a problem since no English and not the greatest French.

Cons: I STRONGLY ADVISE AGAINST BOOKING RIAD ADRAR. When we got to this riad, the owner welcomed us and informed that unfortunately all of the rooms are booked and that the booking.com should had sent us the information about it (as you can assume, it did not). We’d already paid for the room and everything was confirmed. The owner said that lucky for us, he somehow has some connection (?) with a riad just across the corner, that is basically the same as the one we booked (including standard, facilities etc). This whole mess took around 1 hour. We got into the new riad - Nouhal, which standard was very poor - we had spots of indefinite liquid on the bedding, very small room and bathroom with foul shower. We had an early morning flight, we were super tired and did not have a possibility to contact booking support center via phone (we reported the case and had to wait 24 hours for any action) so unfortunately we had to accept the conditions. However, in my opinion, the owner of riad Adrar is a MOROCCAN SWINDLER - he accepted the city tax, messaged booking that we even did not appear in the riad Adrar which was a LIE - but of course, if he responded differently, he would meet some consequences from booking. com. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

Cons: The whole furniture good get a little rénovation. But nothing to Bad. Also the keys are bit tricky to use. But that's "négative points" on a very high level.. Good to know : Riad is a bit outside the real center

Staff can speak good English. The first plus. We checked in after midnight and used their transportation (15Euro from the airport). When we arrived at the hotel's street, someone from the hotel was waiting for us to take us to the hotel. Otherwise it could be a bit difficult to find it for us. The room was ready. Clean and nice. They even prepared baby crib before we asked them to do it, which was very sweet of them. We stayed 2 nights, and we were quite comfortable. Breakfast was ok. But coffee was so good. The best thing was about breakfast you can have it whenever you want it. The location is good. Cl8se yo the square. Room was quite. We didn't get disturbed from other guests or outside
Cons: The only minus was cold. There was a heater in the room and working great but we still felt cold during the night.

We slept 2 nights at Riad Adrar. Everyone was very nice at the Riad, always available to help. The inner atrium (with a pool) was calm and beautiful, where we had the opportunity to had our breakfasts. The breakfast was great (although it could have had fruit). At night the place is quiet. The location is great (south); 15min walking to the center and not far from the airport (1h walking or 15min by taxi). Also, you can have dinner at the Riad (for 150 dirhams or 15eur per person) and eat typical food if you do not want to go out at night.
Cons: The room was not very big. The room door was made of glass, whereby the isolation was not the best.

the staff were beyond amazing. cannot praise them enough. the location was also superb.
Cons: there were 7 of us in 3 rooms. two of us had to change rooms half way through our stay. for one couple it was an upgrade because they were on the rooftop in an exceptionally small and uncomfortable room. for the other couple it was a massive downgrade but sold as an upgrade. the room with the bath needs some serious upgrades - the bath was cracked, the tap was rusted, there was no water pressure, the water temperature was unpredictable (ie scorching hot in a second mid shower even though no changes were made). but the worst thing was the stench coming from the bathroom. just awful. needs to be fixed. aside from that, the rooms aren’t sound proofed so you hear everything including people arriving in the middle of the night and it was absolutely freezing - we kept our aircon on 30 our entire stay and it wasn’t enough.

The bathtub and shower were beautiful. The bed was comfortable, size of room was great. Breakfast was made early for us as we had an early departure.
Cons: We were told we could drop our bags at the riad early however upon arrival, we were not allowed into the riad. Our bags were taken quickly from us and sent back out. We were given tea as a welcoming when we came back however never spoke with any staff until breakfast this morning. It was a bit bizarre. A different experience from the other riad we stayed in Marrakech.

The check-in was very friendly and the location of the hotel is fine. Maybe a bit far to the main square, but also not impossible. The taxi can not come in front of the door but very close. The dual bed was large and comfortable, separated beds for our kids. Good warm shower. Super silent, you hear basically nothing! Breakfast was nice with all kind of typical Moroccan things. The manager organised a taxi for us to the train station which was perfectly fine. Our kids liked a quick jump in the mini court yard pool - be aware: the water is not heated!
Cons: The hotel was a bit difficult to find but we managed. There are only a few restaurants in the direct environment, we went to a place which seemed OK but when we later saw prices of other restaurants a small walk away we realised that it was very expensive for what they offered. The internet is unfortunately useless! I don't talk about streaming, just checking an email or the news is virtually impossible. This seems to be a general problem in Marocco, probably no fiber connections. It would have been nice if the room would have curtains. The light in the courtyard stayed on until 23'ish and the room was not dark. The next morning you wake up early due to daylight.

Riad Adrar was a pleasant surprise for myself, my wife, and our daughter. Very kind and accommodating staff who catered to our late request for dinner, early request for breakfast, and request for a taxi to take us to the post office at 8:30 in the morning, wait for us to finish, then drive us to the airport. The Riad was incredibly charming, in particular the intimate pool on the ground floor and the quaint rooftop terrace under the night sky. I also loved the breakfast, especially the msemen with the vegetables inside and the fresh orange juice. I have never received more value for my spending than I have at Riad Adrar, I would highly recommend it.
Cons: The room could have been slightly cleaner but nothing major, and it would be nice to have options to pay city tax and other services like dinner with credit card rather than cash.

This is a great choice. Ouassel is great, working hard and always ready to help with anything. He was happy to help with anything, things we needed for the kids, directions, local orientation, whatever. We stayed for a long time, 7 nights. AC worked great, wifi worked great, I have found that neither of those are necessarilly guaranteed in Morocco. I actually tried to rebook this place for later on in the trip, but I wasn't surprised to find that it was full. Book this place if you can. Pool was nice and cold, perfect for the kids.

Not much. Shower was good.
Cons: Rooms tiny, pool dirty, and worst of all, when the young man brought me to the taxi in the morning, he tried charging me tourist tax I had paid the day before, and when I told him I'd paid he started arguing with me, calling me a liar, and ultimately took 20 dirhams and ran away. Not a big amount of money, but not a good way to treat a guest.

Volveremos.

Authentic experience in the middle of Marrakech, traditional house with swimming pool that children were delighted to use. Room was clean and you don’t feel trapped as you can use communal areas including the roof evening time. Staff were excellent and warm. They were very helpful in advising places to visit and things to do. Breakfast was outstanding with traditional options and the food was excellent. It was easy to find parking spaces off site with reasonable price.

I had a positive experience with this Riad, demonstrating that expectations can be exceeded. Our visit began with the check-in, which was handled seamlessly by host Soukaina. Soukaina made our stay one of the highlights of our trip. She was very accommodating and all went smoothly. I cannot thank her enough. She greeted us at the entrance of the Riad, helped with our luggage, and sat us down and explained what we needed to know about the area. She also provided suggestions on what to see and where to explore. Even gave us a quick history of the country while accompanying us to the market. Any request we made, she was eager to help in any way she could. Her hospitality was exceptional. The quality of her work and gracious manner attest to this. A truly unforgettable stay at the Riad was made possible by her. She made a lasting impression on us with both her attention to detail and her easy-to-please personality. There was never a dull moment during our stay here. All the excursions were booked through her and they never disappointed. The care she provided for us during our stay was instrumental in making it a memorable one, so I am still in awe of her efforts. My choice of this Riad was influenced by its location. Right in Marrakech's center, next to the markets and close to the airport, this hotel offers easy accessibility. Besides the King's Palace, there are a number of famous sites and dining opportunities to be found Highly recommended.

Appreciate the warm hospitality of the kitchen staff, the guys on night duty, and Sukaina’s. Our room was cleaned every day, breakfast was always hearty, tea was bottomless at any time of the day, and the atmosphere was homely and cozy.

The riad was very accommodating and made booking excursions extremely easy. The breakfast was amazing and filling. The service was 5/5, constantly asking if they could do anything for us or bring us tea. I was very comfortable and felt at home. Also, it was a beautiful riad with a beautiful terrace.

Lovely little riad off the main streets of Marrakech. Service was lovely with complimentary tea and cookies whenever you wanted. Rooms are spacious with outside seating area and a great roof terrace. The included breakfast was perfect for a good start to the day and could be made whenever you wanted rather than served only between certain times. All the staff with friendly and very helpful, always greeting guests with a smile. Perfect place for both a solo or couple trip.

Our room was not available. We had to drag our luggage down the streets to two other riads before we finally got a room to spend the night
